“Have you ever noticed how many silences there are Gilbert? The silence of the woods....of the shore....of the meadows....of the night....of the summer afternoon. All different because the undertones that thread them are different.”
L.M. Montgomery, Anne of Windy Poplars

Dancing around my thoughts
An my daughters questions
We could have been special
An I pretend to hate you
It's the easiest thing to do
When in reality
I loved you
Or maybe the thoughts of you
In reality your a twisted de ja vu
It was never real
The daughter we tried for
Was a burden
I supposedly trapped you with
The hardest pill to swallow
My dream family
You thought was a mistake
The bruises and victimisation
The sleep deprivation
Never ending tears in silence
I remember walking into boots
I said to myself
After this test your life will never be the same
I never expected the biggest change in you
An so it....
Broken dreams another broken family
Yet you blame me
Truth be told
Spinning up the Thames
On the 25ft dawncraft
Going under Tower Bridge
In beautiful sunshine
Your face still haunts my better days
Because when you winked smiled
Toasted parliament and called em cunts
How we laughed spilf and vodka in hand,
An it replays like groundhog day in my mind
You couldn't have hurt me more
I still wouldn't have got off at the Woolwich ferry though....
My love and my regret
Lie at your feet.
I changed me,
You could never change you. X

fluffed hair, pink lips
blue jeans, hip dips
end of day, end of work
where girl has gone, woman walks
heart of gold, heart of stone
never meant to be alone
lived in, lived up
to everything she ever loved
to rise with pressure:
an inevitable fall
where woman walks,
woman can crawl
bloodied knees, broken feet
keeping track of who she meets
cat calls, brick walls
night life, sugar-spice
pick your pretending
pick your phrase
pick her adventure...
dare turn the page

Truth, Magic in disguise?
Truth can take us places. It can lead us to conclusions or back to beginnings. Truth can beour best friend or our worst enemy. Truth can slap us in the face and leave us spinning, unsure where to turn next. Yet, through the power of reflection, we can find truth rightbeside us. The power of reflection is something that continues to astound me, and I hold itvery close to my heart. What are your…

I'm like a mirror that does not lie...
I speak the things that we try to hide.
The things most hidden, but also the most true...
The things that birth shame, but the things that are you.
We live in a World where opinions do matter...
But the thoughts of others can cause the Soul to shatter.
To disfigure and dismember from our true celestial form...
To attach to the mind, and the body that's worn.
But I see deep within, the things that pull us away...
So I speak the unnerving things, that no one wants to say.
Because to understand, both your light and your dark...
Is the only true way to re-member your part.
Like a drop from the Ocean, you still possess it all...
The pure Light of the Stars from whence we did fall.
I don't know why, I was tasked with this mission...
But a mirror I'll be, to break this imprisoning condition.
We must accept ALL that we've come to be...
In order to re-member, that our Souls are eternally free.
The school of Life is where we have our chance...
To experience it all, so our Souls may advance.
So be brave and be strong, no matter how it may feel...
You must see ALL of yourself, for you true self to reveal. 💚 -LB

People keep urging me to let go, to move on from you and find someone new. It wasn’t as easy as they made it seem, despite knowing that all the feelings I have will forever be unrequited.
But that didn’t make the feat impossible.
I’ve moved on, I’ve let go of everything we could have been and everything we will never be. I’ve buried all the emotions under the deepest pits of my heart, making sure it will never break free regardless of whatever happens in the future.
Yet instead of being happier, I feel emptier, lonelier. The weight in my chest grows heavier instead of lighter and it feels as if something is sucking all the joy in my life, preventing me from enjoying this false freedom I tricked myself into.
I don’t know what’s worse; agonizing over an unrequited love or drowning in the loneliness of not feeling anything at all.

5 Life Hacks for Someone Turning 25!!
At age 25, you already have a few of life’s biggest milestones behind you: the day you took your first steps; your first “words”, your first day at school; graduation… and then comes 25. 25 is the unsung heroes of milestones: the age at which most people have a little more life experience behind them and start feeling like “adults”. (If you don’t, yet, that’s totally fine, too!) When it comes…

Depression is a lonely feeling. Especially when you're surrounded by happy people wearing rose colored glasses... who aren't strong enough to take them off and face the Sun. -LB
