For First i picked Idia Shroud x Ortho Shroud!

The first couple 'thing' they did together was hold hands. Idia was having a hard time being around his classmates, and Ortho was around to help when Idia quickly grabbed Ortho's metallic hand and held it tightly.

Tradition- I picked SCP-076 x SCP-106 (My series canon)

106 (Larry) always brings his husband Abel to a specific spot in his pocket dimension that leads to a hallway of portals to different realities and places. Each year, Abel picks 1 door to open and explore with Larry for a week. It happens on the week after Larry's birthday (In Crossed Heart canon, its October 9th). The tradition has occured ever since they got married.

Vacation- I picked Enmu x Tanjiro (My AU)

Enmu would often travel around with Tanjiro. Ever so often, they'd visit the very specific train station where the Mugen Train stopped and just watch the trains stop and go. Enmu chose to bring Tanjiro to relax at the train station for a reason, as the Mugen Train was where Enmu first met Tanjiro on the train.

Warm- Professor Crewel x Azul Ashengrotto

Crewel would have a ever-so-slightly warmer temperature compared to Azul, as Azul's from the sea, his body would be adapted to cooler ocean. Azul often tries different ways to stay back after class ends just to cuddle Crewel for warmth. Crewel likes this.

tanjirou is actually affectionate in every way!! he loves physical affection because it’s the most soothing to him, but he’s always complimenting you or giving you gifts, too. he likes receiving affection the same way, but isn’t disappointed if you don’t. (he understands people show their love in different ways, so it doesn’t hurt him at all! as long as you know how much he appreciates you, he’s fine.)

b = best friend (what would they be like as a best friend? how would the friendship start?)

it’s likely he met you at the final selection or during one of his missions, and he took a liking to you immediately. you met nezuko by accident, passively pointing out that “there was a demon in his box.” he immediately shielded it, but seeing how you didn’t make any advances calmed him.

as a best friend, he respects you so much!!! seeing you with the others makes him happy too. he’s always doing acts of service to help you, and giving you advice that urokadaki or the hashira gave him!!

c = cuddles (do they like to cuddle? how would they cuddle?)

tanjirou really loves cuddles! (he likes physical affection in general, really.) it makes him feel like you’re both safe.

he’s okay with any position, but he prefers to be able to see your face. he also really likes talking to you while cuddling!

d = domestic (do they want to settle down? how are they at cooking and cleaning?)

he’s great at cooking + cleaning since he helped take care of his siblings! i hc that he’s really good at baking, so he’ll often make random food for you and the others. :)

very very minor spoilers for the end of the manga (it’s the same spoiler as the one in the zenitsu sfw alphabet):

in terms of settling down, his dream was literally just to move in with you and the others, and to actually be able to do that meant so much! 

some day he’d like to have kids, but if you didn’t want any, he’d just hope the others have kids LMAOO

he’s so gentle ohh my god

even though he knows you’re strong, he’s still very careful with you!

emotionally, he’s the same! he never wants to say anything that could potentially hurt someone. especially since he’s tanjirou; he’s so kind 

h = hugs (do they like hugs? how often do they do it? what are their hugs like?)

hugs are his favorite; he hugs you as often as possible!! they’re really comforting as he’ll always rest his head on yours or on your shoulder. he likes rubbing your back, too!

i = i love you (how fast do they say the L-word?)

really fast, actually! it’s not like he’s rushing it, though. he always says ‘i love you’ to his friends and nezuko because he wants them to know he cares about them. so when he started dating you, he still said it!

j = jealousy (how jealous do they get? what do they do when they’re jealous?)

honestly? tanjirou doesn’t get jealous. he respects you enough to know you wouldn’t cheat on him, so if he ever sees someone flirting with you he trusts you to tell them you’re taken.

if the person flirting doesn’t let up, however, he’ll get more protective and will them to leave.

k = kisses (what are their kisses like? where do they like to kiss you? where do they like to be kissed?)

his kisses are very gentle!! he doesn’t want to overwhelm you in case you want to stop. 

his favorite places to kiss you are your forehead and shoulder!! for the former, it’s always comforting to him when he’s able to cup your face.

his favorite places to be kissed are his neck and nose. it always flusters him HAHA

l = little ones (how are they around children?)

king had five siblings, he’s great with kids. he likes them too! he’s sweet anyways, but he always tries to be like. 10x kinder when he’s with some

he really likes giving kids gifts, too! if he finds a cool gem or something on his travels, he’ll gift that to them :)))

since tanjirou always woke up so early when he lived with his family, it’s a habit that stuck with him! staying in bed after he wakes up makes him feel restless, so he’ll normally just kiss your forehead and get up

before bed, he always makes tea! it helps him sleep better and he hopes it helps you too. right before you go to sleep, he likes asking about your day or dumb stuff that inosuke did

o = open (when would they start revealing things about themselves? do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

it won’t take to long for him to tell you about his family. he just wants to make sure he can trust you!! he won’t want to talk about it often though, considering how recent they died

it’s a huge compliment when he does, actually! it means he holds you in really high respect

p = patience (how easily angered are they?)

this is tanjirou we’re talking about, literally nothing you can do will piss him off. unless you beat up nezuko or something ig??? please don’t do that

q = quizzes (how much would they remember about you? do they remember every little detail you mention in passing, or do they kind of forget everything?)

he works really hard to remember everything! he listens very carefully to you, so it’s not too hard to pick up on things you might like when you mention them in passing

(he’ll normally incorporate those into acts of service, too! if you offhandedly mention not wanting to go get your medicine the next day, you can bet it’ll be left on the table when you wake up)

r = remember (what is their favorite moment in your relationship?)

the day he proposed! he worked really hard for it to be perfect, and to see it went well makes him go ^^^^^

s = security (how protective are they? how would they protect you? how would they like to be protected?)

he’s pretty protective, but not to the point of being overbearing! he’s scared of losing more people he cares about fuck you chapter 179

when fighting demons, he would give you space to fight but also keeps an eye on you to make sure nothing happens. 

t = try (how much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?)

he puts in so much effort. he really wants to make sure you know how much he loves you, so he always puts effort into little things like everyday tasks! like i said in q, he listens to you very carefully which can help him make really nice gifts!

he also makes sure he never forgets something like your birthday or an anniversary, as he knows that it would hurt.

pretty much not at all! besides making sure he looks clean, he’s proud of not having self esteem issues in that regard.

in a way? he really doesn’t like the idea of depending so much on someone, especially since if something happened he wouldn’t know what to do. he has nezuko and the others, so if something were to happen to you he would be able to heal. (it doesn’t mean it would hurt any less, however.)

Gosh anon this is so late I am so so sorry ;p; ;p; ;p; but aCK that is so nice of you to say!!! I’m really happy to hear you enjoy the Tanjiro content 0////0 K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like? In all honesty...the KNY kids are all, well, kids, so I don’t see any of them being particularly “good” kissers in the typical sense of the word. Tanjiro has never been kissed in a romantic sense and has never kissed anyone before, either; he’s the oldest child in a fatherless family with many hungry mouths to feed, and falling in love has never really been a priority. He’s never daydreamed about romance the way that a lot of teens his age are prone to do, so he’s not entirely sure how to initiate the act. However, he’s always eager to learn and not shy in the slightest, so he tries! He treats it as something he can practice and figure out, though it’s really more of a soft, brief affair, testing out what works and what doesn’t. He wants to have fun with it and you’ll probably be affected by his positivity; there’s a lot of laughter in Tanjiro’s first kiss. L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o? It’s debatable if he ever does. As mentioned above, Tanjiro doesn’t think much of romance and doesn’t quite register any feelings he has as romantic; as far as he’s aware, he just likes you a lot. He never really bothers to consider whether his feelings truly qualify as platonic, because to him, relationships with other people just *are*- it is what it is, nothing more to worry his head over. In the same vein, he never quite goes ahead and thinks “ah. I’m in love with this person.” His affection for you never actually changes over time, it’s just that the nature of his emotions grows and shifts as he grows and shifts with you, so there’s really no confession to make. He just likes you. He knows you like him. Maybe at twenty he feels differently about you than he did at fifteen, but at the core, you’ll still be his best friend even if he marries you someday...so in his opinion, there’s no confession to make. (The only exception is if he senses that you doubt his feelings or need reassurance that he truly cares for you.) O n Cloud Nine - What are they like when they are in love? Is it obvious for others? How do they express their feelings? Tanjiro isn’t purposefully obvious about it- mostly because he really takes a while to decide that he likes you romantically- and he’s not obnoxiously in love, either. It’s hard to tell because he’s kind and polite to everybody who hasn’t sincerely wronged him or his loved ones, and he’s also prone to treating all his friends with equal affection, so you can never be quite sure whether he truly has a preference for anybody in the group. (If you ask him, he doesn’t, and he probably means it.) However, it’s noticeable enough if you know what you’re looking for. It shows more in the way you interact with each other than in how Tanjiro treats you- it’s as if you can read each other’s minds, the way you work together as a team and always know which step to take next. The people who care most about Tanjiro will recognize how happy you really make him.  Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner? He copes fairly well in the sense that, unlike *some* other fictional characters, he is not a clingy, dependent mess and does not melt into a puddle of anxiety once his partner is out of sight. Mostly, he goes about his day and does his own work, trusting that you’ll be busy with your own as well. He’ll do chores and little everyday things that he usually does with you, sends you regular letters by raven, and maybe hangs out more with his friends and family to fill the gap- though he has healthy methods of coping, Tanjiro is a sociable, family-oriented person at heart, and he gets fairly lonely when you’re gone. He also has everybody else in the extended friend group gather together little trinkets or notes to send you in your next letter. You receive flowers from Nezuko, a pebble from Muichirou, a vial of medicine from Shinobu, a miniature painting from Yushiro, a bit of ohagi from Genya, and so on and so forth- like a taste of home when you’re feeling alone.

Definitely a cat person if nothing else... I can see Kanao preferring low maintenance and/or quiet animals. Maybe a hamster... a lizard?... but mostly in my mind she and her s/o would just have one cat if it were up to her. Truthfully, she’ll probably go along with whatever pets her s/o wants but she can’t guarantee she’ll be very good with them...

Genya

Tall intimidating man and his tiny pet... a bunny or cat is what I see him with most! Probably good with all animals tbh and likely a dog person if anything but consider: him and tiny animals!!!! He’ll be down for just about any pet his s/o takes a liking to, probably ends up with a small farm in your house...

Mitsuri

Hear me out, she loves animals a lot, but she’s not necessarily very responsible... Mitsuri shouldn’t be in charge of anything regulated like feeding (she’d probably feed too much) but she’ll be so affectionate to whatever pet her s/o prefers!!! Probably doesn’t have a preference and loves all animals equally but hates bugs (rip Sanemi’s beetle)... fascinated by less common pets but still loves them all!

Tanjirou

Classic dog lover. Probably has a few dogs, all super loving and affectionate!! Tanjirou is amazing with all animals though so he’d definitely love whatever stray his s/o picks up off the streets... he might even do it too from time to time. Probably nurses animals back to health like Shinobu... very responsible boy!

Let's go with the ships! Just to make this clear, I'm still only doing one hc per letter. If you'd like more details, feel free to request ship hcs apart from the alphabets.

Again, please assume Tanjiro is appropriately aged-up.

Fluff Alphabet with RenTan

E — Equal

Rengoku is the more dominant one in the relationship, though it's far from being actually visible. They both fill-in with each other's shortcomings and are incredibly supportive of each other. It's just that Tanjiro doesn't have the amount of raw beaming energy Kyojuro bubbles with and shows his affection in a much gentler manner.

N — Nicknames

Kyojuro calls Tanjiro either "My love" or "My sun" with occassional variations on the two. He tried other things too but they didn't sound that good to him. As for Tanjiro, he doesn't have a nickname to call his partner but rather prefers to use his name. He always manages to pour enough love into it that nothing else is necessary.

Q — Quirk

Both of them, but Kyojuro especially, are very warm so they like to cuddle on cold winter evenings. They also take long walks even in cold weather, content with just holding each other's hand in their own. It gives them a special layer of privacy since nobody is usually out at the times they are. They have the whole world for themselves.

R — Romance

Neither of them is necessarily romantic. They are just fine with platonic gestures of affection and occassional kisses. However, when it comes down to it, Rengoku takes charge in this account as well. He's a little cringy at times, cliché and a bit predictable but his beaming energy just makes it irresistable in spite of that. And Tanjiro loves everything his ditzy boyfriend is doing anyway.
