Comforting Them | Star Wars

Request: Can I make a request? Comforting the Star Wars boys pls - @cool--chicken

A/N: my first request!!!! 😃 also, Luke has two because I feel he would react differently? Lol

Anakin Skywalker

Comforting Anakin would take a lot of patience and lots of reassurance, Anakin has loads of self insecurity when it comes down to it, so you'd have to be very gentle while addressing him.

"Anakin? What's wrong love? Did something happen?" You'd ask him slowly, watching as he jumps slightly at your intrusion.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to intrude, I was just worried about you." Hearing this would swell Anakin's breaking heart, his tears slowing.

"It's alright my love. I'm just irritated with the council, they don't think I deserve to be a jedi master." He would explain to you, holding himself. This action makes you frown, and you're quick to grab his hands and wrap them around you.

"You know you don't have to go through this alone, right? I'm always here when you need me Ani," you'd reassure him, feeling his grip tighten around your waist.

"Thank you, my love."

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Comforting Obi-Wan would be a rare occurrence. As he usually would either deal with it on his own or busy himself with work to distract his true emotions. The first time you comforted him was after Qui-Gonn died, the second was when he had to battle Anakin. After assuring Anakin's children were safe, he came to you, no emotions held back.

"Obi-Wan? What's happened? I got your holo," you would say, watching as he broke down in tears in front of you.

"Oh honey.." you would whisper, gently lulling his head into your chest.

"I'm here when you're ready to talk." You would assure him, rubbing slow circles onto his head, patiently waiting for him to calm down.

"Thank you, Darling. I don't know what I'd do without you,"

"You're strong, Obi-Wan. I know without a doubt you'll get through this."

Darth Maul

Comforting Maul would take a lot of patience and kind words, after losing the battle with Obi-Wan Kenobi, he would definitely have a damaged ego.

"Maul? Oh my love, what has happened to you?" You'd ask gently, taking in his new appearance. Savage told you of his battle with Kenobi and you were furious, how could anyone labeling themselves as a jedi attempt to kill someone? You were just thankful he was still alive.

"Darling? Oh my sweet, I have missed you" Maul would say, you both running into each others arms.

"I'm so glad you're okay," you'd whisper, rubbing gentle circles onto his temple.

"And you, my lady. I have been in need of you."

ANH!Luke Skywalker

Comforting Luke would consist of cuddling, smooches, and blankets. After losing Ben, Luke's mood was dampened. Something you hated to see, he was a ray of sunshine, he didn't deserve to be sad.

"Hey hon, how are you doing?" You'd ask, laying a soft blanket over his shoulders. He would smile sadly and shrug, thanking you for the blanket.

"I just can't believe he's gone," he'd say sadly. You frowned and sighed, wrapping your arms around him. He would accept the hug immediately, tucking his head into your neck.

"Oh honey...it'll be okay, alright? I'm here for you," you'd assure him, gently scratching his scalp and kissing his head.

ROTJ!Luke Skywalker

Comforting Luke after he becomes a jedi master would be difficult. He liked to deal with his emotions on his own now. So convincing him to share would take a lot of coaxing.

"Luke? I know something's wrong, you can't fool me," you'd say to him as he attempted to walk away from you. Everything he's been through really changed him.

"I told you I'm alright." He'd tell you again. You'd sigh and feel hurt, he used to be so open with you. Although after sensing your thoughts, he'd stop and turn to you.

"Look, I know you're a jedi master now but that doesn't mean you have to shut me out, I love you and will always be here for you." You'd tell him, not expecting for him to reply.

"Sweetheart, I-I'm sorry. I'm just dealing with the death of my father rather harshly....thank you, I love you too."

Han Solo

Comforting Han was a very rare occurrence. This man isn't known for being emotional, he would definitely deny being sad or needing comfort. You being you would just pull him into a hug. Han would most likely accept it.

"Han, quit being such a hard ass, everyone has feelings, even you!" You'd say to him, watching as he rolled his eyes. You knew he was faking, just being a tough guy for everyone. You'd sigh and yank him by his collar into a hug, Han nearly yelping.

"See? This isn't so bad, hm?" You'd say to him quietly, Han groaning in reply.

"Yeah yeah, its alright I suppose."

Darth Vader

Comforting Vader would be difficult. He's still stubborn Ani underneath so he'd probably attempt to deal with it on his own, or force choke someone daring to address him. Unless it was you, you're his weakness after all.

"Vader? What's wrong?" You'd ask him, gently placing your hand on his back. Vader would turn to you in silence, placing his hand along your cheek before answering.

"I'm quite alright, my love. Simply dealing with an issue." He'd say. You would sigh and nod, frowning at his stubbornness.

"You know I'm here for you, right? I always will be, you never have to deal with anything on your own." You'd assure him, feeling him gaze into your eyes.

"I know my love. Thank you."

Din Djarin

Comforting Din would be a process. He's stubborn like most of these guys are and would probably feel ashamed to need comfort. But due to you and Grogu, he'd feel bad for not sharing, so he'd eventually go to you.

"Cyar'ika?" He'd ask, his voice deep.

"What's wrong?" Of course you'd know, he's not very good at hiding his emotions from you.

"Nothing, I just..." he'd sigh, you immediately running into his arms to hold him.

"I'm here Din, always." He thanks the stars every night that he has you and Grogu.

Poe Dameron

Comforting Poe would probably be rather easy. When he's truly in need of comfort he wastes no time in finding you, that is if you don't find him first. Your wife senses go off when he's in need.

"Poe? Honey, I'm here." You'd say running up to him, cupping his cheeks in your palms.

"Oh baby...thank the force I have you," he'd breathe, securing his arms around your waist.

"Shh, c'mere hon," you'd whisper, gently pulling him into your neck, playing with his hair that rested on the nape of his neck.

"I love you, so much."

Kylo Ren

Comforting Kylo would be much like comforting Vader. Both are stubborn to no end and insist they are okay or can deal with it on their own. But unlike Vader he wouldn't be able to resist you as long, he ultimately gives in and accepts your comfort.

"Kylo, is everything okay?" You'd ask, resting your hand on his upper arm. He would stay silent, barely moving.

"Kylo, you know I'm here for you my love, no matter the problem," you'd assure him, watching as he broke and gave in, quickly pulling you into a hug. You'd accept immediately, and rub small circles onto his back.

"I love you."

by Michael J. Kruger | In all of the many Star Wars films (and there are too many now), one of my favorite segments is where Yoda is training the young Luke Skywalker in The Empire Strikes Back.

After Luke fails to lift his X-wing fighter out of the swamp by using the Force, he complains to Yoda, “You want the impossible.” Then he walks off into the woods to pout.

Of course, Yoda then proceeds to lift the X-wing fighter out of the swamp himself and sets it on dry land. Luke stares in amazement, “I don’t believe it.”

Yoda’s reply is classic, “That is why you fail.”

While the quasi-Gnostic, New Age worldview of the Star Wars saga makes me hesitant to use it as an example, I have to say that a good lesson can be…

Breylin (Rey or Brey) Skywalker

Breylin was born in 20 ABY to Jedi Masters Luke and Mara Jade Skywalker during a time of peace. The Jedi were growing in numbers, and it was a time of Peace within the galaxy, with a few skirmishes here and there, but for the most part there was peace. She is fair skinned with strawberry blonde hair and green eyes.

She is close to her older brother Ben, but ultimately looks up to her eldest cousin, Jaina, often trying to copy the young Jedi Knight. When her parents are busy, though, she spends a lot of time with Tionne Solusar and the other younglings.

Breylin has an intense separation anxiety from her family, namely her mother, and the only people who are able to calm her down are Leia, Han (sometimes), Jaina, Tionne, Mara, Luke, and Ben. If anyone else tries, she uses a Force Scream. This concerns Mara and Luke, however they both agree they would have to teach Breylin at some point to control that.

THE YEAR IS 28 ABY AND THE DREADED FIRST ORDER RAPIDLY LOOMS OVER THE GALAXY AT LARGE

FORMER JEDI ORDER MEMBER CALYPSEIS FEARS THAT THE TEACHINGS OF THE JEDI MAY BE ON THE VERGE OF BEING LOST DUE TO THE NEW JEDI ORDER FORMED MY LUKE SKYWALER HAD FALLEN

NOW CALYPSEIS AND HER DROID COMPANION SEV TRAVEL FAR TO THE OTTER RIM IN SEARCH OF A PLANET WERE THEY CAN BEGGIN RE-ESTABLISHING THE JEDI ORDER TO ITS ONCE FORMER GLORY

A NEW BEGINNING

Kordona, a lush planet inhabited by a multitude of exotic creatures and different species all living together in harmony. A group of Merqaals play together in a stream of water while two Moofs graze together and a lone Hawk-bat looks up into the sky to see a spaceship descending down from the sky. The ship landed gracefully in a grassy field surrounded by lush greenery and mountains; The ship's door and ramp hiss open to reveal a robed Wookie and a violet colored protocol droid. The two walked down the ramp and stepped onto the planet that they would now call their new home.

"The report for this planet doesn't do it justice, it's even more beautiful than the holoimages could ever be," Calypseis rumbled in delight as she looked around at her new surroundings.

"Right you are miss Calypseis. Oh I just know the younglings will love it here, there is just so much wilderness to explore," Sev said with enough enthusiasm for the both of them.

The two companions surveyed the land, getting coordinates that would lead them back to their ship. Calypseis pulled put a holopad from her robes and turned it on to reveal a decrepid Jedi outpost covered in vines. This outpost would serve as the birthplace for the Future Jedi Order.

"Based on the terrain we saw from above, I can confidently say that the outpost is somewhere in this vicinity; I just wish we had a better record to go off of," Calypseis rumbled and put the holopad back into her robes.

"All I could see from the ship was forest and mountains for who knows how far," Sev commented

"How can you be so certain?"

Calypseis looked into Sev's white light up eyes, "It's because I'm following The Will of the Force; I am a conduit for the force, it flows through me and guides me."

With that being said Calypseis stolled twords the wilderness, leaving Sev to compute what she just heard. After a while Sev finally realized she was being left behind and put herself into high gear to catch up.

"Oh, of course! You're so insightful miss Calypseis, I just know you'll make an excellent teacher for all the new Jedi initiates," Sev shouted while trying to catch up. The pair soon vanished into the vast forest ahead; There pilgrimage at a start.

It felt sereal walking around the dense forest; Calypseis has only just arrived on the planet and already she felt a deep connection to it. It reminded her of her homeworld, she only vaguely remembers her time on Kashyyyk before the Jedi order took her in as an initiate. Once the order had fallen decades ago it had been hard to find a safe planet to settle down on for a long period of time. Constantly on the run from the Empire for years; Uncertainty had plagued Calypseis during there reign of terror.

Despite all the trials and tribulations she faced, she never forgot the teaching of the Jedi and vowed to one day rebuild the Jedi order. She would be a beacon of light for the next generation of force users. Her time as a padawan under a member of the Council of First Knowledge ment that she already had a vast knowledge of Jedi teachings and information. Just thinking about her time as a padawan reminded her how much she missed master-

"Are you alright miss Calypseis?" Sev's voice broke Calypseis train of thought and snapped her back to reality.

"I'm sorry Sev, I got lost in my own thoughts again. How long was I out for?" Calypseis asked in a low rumble.

"No need to apologize, you were only out for 47 minutes. I thought you were just taking in the beauty and serenity of the forest," Sev replied and stopped in her tracks, "Not that I'm in any rush but, how much further do you think it will be until we reach the outpost?" Sev asked

Calypseis paused and closed her eyes to better commune with the force. In her mind she could see the forgotten outpost, all decrepid and overrunned by vines. She calmed her breathing, meditating and letting the force guide her the rest of the way. The vines glowed in her mind, mapping out the maze-like forest to the outpost.

"It's not to much further, I got the map right here," Calypseis growled and pointed to the top of her head.

"Oh my," Sev retorted once she saw the beauty that is the old Jedi outpost up close. Nature had completely taken over the once marvelous building, leaving it looking decrepid and creepy yhe closer you walked up to it. The time it will take to refurbish the accent outpost made Sev question if this place would work out.

"Are you sure this is the correc-," Sev abruptly stopped talking once she saw Calypseis with tears in her eyes. Calypseis was looking past all the disarray and saw only its potential; A sliver of hope that brought her to tears. She wiped the tears away and smiled to her droid companion, "Yes, this is the correct place. Our sanctuary and birth place of the future Jedi order." The pair made there way to the entrance of the outpost and went in to explor the relic of a building.

The first thing they saw in the entryway was the Jedi insignia plastered on the ground and multiple hallways covered in vines. Calypseis ignited her lightsaber and filled the entrance with a bright white light; cutting down vines as she explored the hallways. The outpost was had many rooms to explore and she could just imagine all the new younglings getting lost when they when they first arrive here. She made a mental note to map out the outpost before others arrive.

The rooms ranged from living quarters, cafeteria, training room, library, indoor garden, classrooms, and a head office. She could also sense hidden rooms that she'd have to discover at a later date. The head office was the last place she discovered and seemed to be the life blood of the outpost. Calypseis fiddled with the objects in the room until she saw a desk with hole in it with the words "Saber key" written over it in Galactic Basic.

She shoved her lightsaber into the hole and the outpost lit up; machines that have laid dormant for years starting up, bringing the outpost to life one again. Calypseis grabbed her saber from the hole and holstered it back into her robes.

"Oh good, I can finally see now," Sev looked around the room, "It looks absolutely dreadful in here miss Calypseis, how are we to clean this whole place up?"

"It will take time to clean this place up, and fortunately for us, we've got time on our side. Now we just wait for the force to guide others to our location," Calypseis grumbled and sat down at the desk, feeling relaxed for the first time in years. Later that day, the two began the long process of cleaning up the outpost and waited patiently for people to come.

I've had this in my head but like. Au where anakin doesn't turn but padmé still dies and everything goes to shit bc palps is the worst, and Anakin is forced to go on the run. As much as he wants to take both twins (and nearly murders the green gremlin for suggesting to separate them), he understands that having them together would be like holding up a huge sign above their heads saying "I'm right here!!!".

So he begrudgingly lets Bail take Leia, but not before making him PROMISE that he'll make sure nothing happens to her. Because if something does, if Leia is found out or captured - anything, Anakin Skywalker WILL make him regret everything. Bail agrees, because he would never forgive himself either if anything happened to Padmé's child (the girl he comes to love fiercely as his own). There's a strange sense of understanding between two grieving men.

Anakin tries to hope that he's doing the right thing despite the horrible pain in his heart at being separated from his daughter, and leaves to go into hiding with Luke and Obi-wan. At first, they fully planned to go to Tatooine since Anakin's hatred for the planet was well known, but his anxiety and fear over the fact that Palpatine KNOWS how he thinks (how to get into his head-) causes them to change direction. Instead, they bypass Tatooine and head to Lothal - masquerading as refugees, trying to find a better life.

Anakin and Obi-wan change their names to hide their identities, introducing themselves as brothers, and Anakin quickly becomes the local handyman/mechanic while Obi-wan helps handle their finances and other things (like making sure they aren't found out). Luke grows up on Lothal and eventually befriends another boy around his age named Ezra, who occasionally comes over for mealtimes.

(Obi-wan and Anakin don't exactly know the specifics of Ezra's home situation, only that his parents were taken by the Empire, but they make sure he knows he's always welcome at their place for a warm meal and a place to stay the night.)

Eventually, the events of Rebels happen. When Ezra goes with the ghost and basically disappears for the most part from Lothal (aside from missions), Luke is understandably worried about his best friend. Ezra also sees the holocron of Obi-wan and is like "Huh. you know what? This guy looks kind of familiar?" *totally not realizing that his best friends uncle is the same dude*

At some point the Ghost Crew accidentally kidnap Luke when being chased by imperials, leaving Anakin to have a complete meltdown when he realizes Luke is moving off planet, and chase after them with Obi-wan whose cursing the Skywalker Luck(tm) and trying to prevent Anakin from murdering people in his mad dash to get his sonboy and sonboys best friend back.

i read this this morning and then completely forgot, sorry!

I absolutely ADORE this idea and I can SEE Kanan's face of absolute terror/awe when The Hero With No Fear bursts into the Ghost with murder intentions to rescue Sonboy and Sonboy's bestie, closely followed by legendary Master Kenobi trying to stop him from killing everyone first and asking questions later.

Imagine, Anakin with his lightsaber out, ready to kill everyone, and suddenly Luke runs up to him like "Daddy!!! 😍✨💕" Ezra closely behind like "Oh hi Mr. Naberrie!" (I'm adding the headcanon that Anakin takes Padmé's name as cover) and he just melts into the floor hugging sonboy. Obi Wan smiling at Hera and Kanan like Yes This Is Normal Don't Worry About It.

One of the funniest things dudebros use as a an excuse to deem Rey as a Mary Sue is her “miraculous, unrealistic” healing abilities.

If anything, we should be putting Ben down for it, because he was the one training in the dark side for such a long time and never before exhibited this light side ability before tros.

Healing was literally an integral part of the Order.

There were chief healers, there were Jedi sent on missions specifically as healers, specifically as team support for more offensive Jedi yet still themselves being skilled in combat. There was literally a Hall of Healing within temples, an entire Circle of Jedi Healers. Were Rey alive then, I can assure you she would be a combat medic just as Barriss Offee was in her legends book duology.

Before you go and say Rey (the literal descendant of one of the most influential and powerful Force users alive and trained by a very close second) is a Mary Sue, maybe know literally anything about the history of the Jedi or Star Wars Legends first.

Do you think, in an AU, Anakin and Padmé would have had more children after Luke and Leia?

I think both Anakin and Padmé would want a big family and in an AU I can see them with lots of kids and the Skywalkers kind of becoming like the Weasleys lol. But I think it also depends on Padmé’s health. If there were any birthing complications while having the twins, they might decide two is enough because Padmé’s health matters. But in that scenario, I can definitely see them adopting some kids especially war orphans. Who knows they might have had a Jinn Skywalker or a Shmi Skywalker the second haha.
