man I don't know the fast car cover man but it seems bizarre to me that so many ppl are feeling the need to be like 'fuck this white boy and his shitty cover' like. all's I saw was the grammy performance but that's a guy who is real delighted to be singing a song he really loves with the artist who wrote it and I think that's awfully nice. There’s a claim that has spread (originating from TikTok) saying that when you are asked at a checkout if you want to round up and donate to a charity, then whatever you donate will not actually help the charity, but rather it will just be used as a tax write-off for the company. This claim is false. Corporations can make their own donations and use it to deduct their taxes but they cannot use their customer’s donations for this purpose. Unless the corporation is committing tax fraud, your money will be going to the charity. It’s a shame that so many young people will now be righteously refusing to give less than a dollar to a charity because of misinformation.
