O rato e o labirinto/ The mouse and the maze

Preso em um labirinto, o pequeno rato avança em todas as direções, em busca de uma saída. Eu, presa em meus pensamentos, me encontro em frente a um muro alto, a cada vez que tento encontrar a luz. É claustrofóbico viver em mim mesma, mesmo em pleno céu azul em um lindo parque. É sempre escuro e abafado, não importa onde estou. Sempre estou avançando em todas as direções, em busca de uma saída, perdida e presa em minha própria mente. Sem perspectivas, de olhos vendados, tudo é escuro e paredes. Um pequeno rato acuado, que se esgueira em qualquer fresta em busca de ar, e com toda a força dos pulmões, permanece. Uma pequena faísca no fim do corredor, tudo o que resta. Amanhã será mais um dia, e eu o viverei.

Trapped in a maze, the little mouse moves in all directions, looking for a way out. I, trapped in my thoughts, find myself in front of a high wall, every time I try to find the light. It's claustrophobic to live in myself, even in the middle of the blue sky in a beautiful park. It's always dark and stuffy no matter where I am. I'm always moving in every direction, looking for a way out, lost and trapped in my own mind. Without perspectives, blindfolded, everything is dark and walls. A small cornered mouse, which sneaks into any crack in search of air, and with all the strength of its lungs, remains. A small spark at the end of the hall, all that's left. Tomorrow will be another day, and I will live it.

i feel like ppl on toku tumblr tend to take misogyny in these shows a lot more seriously than i do which isn’t to say i don’t notice it and go hmm well that’s not good but for me it’s just kind of par for the course unfortunately. unless things get really egregious then i’ll start being mad about it (kiva, gaim) but if it’s like the “normal” amount such as women being limited to certain tropes and roles then i’m like oh well business as usual

#my toku mindset is i get pleasantly surprised by good womanwriting. maybe this isn't the Right mindset but it saves me a lot of headache

UGHHHHH

I literally am so frustrated with myself. I get so inspired by LITERALLY everything. Like I’ll start working on one story about saving the world because I saw a TikTok about climate change. But then I started watching Uncharted gameplay and now I want to write a story about a girl who has adventures uncovering lost cities. Like why can’t I just stick to ONE IDEA???? Does anyone else have this problem?

ALSO, I feel like this results in horrible writers block for me. I can never finish one story because my mind is constantly juggling all of these story ideas. I’ve only finished writing 1 story out of like the 30+ I’ve started. Writers block is a huge problem for me. HOW DO I FIX THIS?!
