"MC, we're leaving now. Take good care of the house with Soley until we get back. Make sure nothing bad happens or there will be consequences. Am I clear?"

The demon brothers were summoned to the castle by Diavolo. It seemed something so important, having the need to summon them so early in the morning. Lucifer said to make sure nothing bad happened while he was going on and on about minding the mansion, but you knew he wasn't talking about the building. He wanted you to make sure nothing bad happens to Soley. Otherwise, it's him you'll answer to.

"Yes, Lucifer. I heard you loud and clear. I hope you have a safe trip."

As soon as the seven of them departed without saying much to you, you headed towards your bedroom in hopes of studying the material Solomon gave you as homework. When you passed by Soley's room, you noticed how quiet it was. As if you were infected with the brothers' care for her, worry filled you, and you immediately knocked on the door. There was no answer, so you knocked once more. Just as you were about to knock again, you received a message on your D.D.D. from the girl herself.

You didn't receive a reply, which made you anxious. Taking your coat with you, you dashed out of the house and headed towards Purgatory Hall. You had a feeling that Soley might have just ignored your message and didn't want to say anymore, but you couldn't risk it. You didn't want to risk anything at that moment.

As you were catching your breath from running a long way, you knocked at the door of Purgatory Hall. It opened shortly after your last knock and revealed a certain angel that displayed worry on his face the moment he laid his eyes on you.

"MC? What are you doing here? Did you run all the way here from the House of Lamentation?" Cassiel was there by your side when you almost fell to the ground. Not only were your legs trembling, but also your hands, and just your whole body. The angel first assumed that you were frightened, but a glint of a certain look in your eyes told him something different.

"M-MC!" The two of you heard a voice from down the hall of the entrance. A young angel came running towards you as soon as he saw you from the window of his bedroom. You tried to look as well as you could, but you couldn't fool him. Letting the older angel carry you inside, Luke followed the two of you shortly after closing the front door. Simeon and Solomon entered the living room where Cassiel placed you on the couch, and Luke handed you a cup of warm tea he brewed before you arrived.

But you knew you had no time for all of that. You told them what was troubling you. At first, they, too, were worried until a few seconds passed, and the thought came to them. Was it really a bad thing for Soley to disappear?

"Please help me find Soley and bring her back home! I... I need to make sure she's safe. Otherwise, my p—...p— I just.. —p-please....!" You bowed your head towards them after speaking as fast— or even faster than Leviathan whenever he's in one of his moods. They barely understood your words, so they missed the slip-up in your stuttering. You looked at all of them with your adorable puppy eye look. It was something you knew they could never resist, and something you very much needed.

Seeing a lot of ripples from the cup of tea in your hand due to your shaking, Luke grew more worried about you. You knew the young angel wouldn't allow anything bad happening to Soley, even when he wasn't fond of her as well. He was a proper angel in the making, after all.

"We have to find her quickly!" Luke exclaimed as he looked at Simeon and Solomon for help. Simeon nodded in agreement. Solomon hesitated. He looked at you, wondering if that's what you really wanted. When you nodded at him, he sighed deeply and agreed to help. He really couldn't say no to you.

Before the sorcerer could leave the room to prepare a way to locate Soley, he received a message from one of his pact demons. Barbatos himself. He then informed the rest of what the butler told him.

"Apparently, we don't have to worry about Soley anymore. Barbatos said that she's secretly being monitored, so if something happens to her, he'll be alerted right away."

Barbatos, huh? A wave of relief washed your troubles away, making you melt onto the sofa. Luke dropped himself on the spot next to you, and he rested his body against yours. He looked happy to see you again... It hurt. Why couldn't they look at you like that anymore?

After a few hours of catching up with them and getting to eat Luke's delicious cookies again, you headed back out. You agreed to let Cassiel walk you home, knowing he had something he wanted to talk to you about, and it was making you wonder. As if he could read your thoughts, he answered that question.

"Did you make up your mind yet, MC?"

"... Yes, actually.... I'm going to leave."

"I see... Back to the Human Realm, then?"

You smiled sadly in response. You looked around you and watched as the lights shone upon every demon in the streets. You passed by the stores filled with memories of you and the brothers. Memories that seemed to be too far away from your reach.

When you reached for the gates of the house, Cassiel grabbed your hand and squeezed it for a tiny moment. You quietly questioned his intentions before he spoke up, "When you ever need something, please don't hesitate to tell me. You may not think I'm as reliable as the brothers, but I'm sure I can help you in a way they can't.... So when that happens..."

The way the angel was acting made you wonder something about him. Was he always like that? Now that you thought about it, you've never had the chance to judge his character properly. You've never really seen him at the moments when he's most happy, sad, excited, or flustered. So, in the end, you ended up taking his offer. When you did, he smiled with content and waited for you to head inside the house before turning on his heels and heading back home.

You returned to your room, mind filled with thoughts. Disturbing, blurry yet clear, pretty little thoughts. Those were all you needed to pick up your pen and start writing on a piece of paper.

There, Soley sat on your bed as she fidgeted with a sealed envelope containing the letter you had just written. She recalled the sight of you when she had just returned home; you were walking down the stairs of the entrance hall, heading towards the front door with your packed luggage in hand.

"MC? Are you going somewhere?"

"Soley...! You're... home... Much, much earlier than I expected."

"Yeah, well... something happened... Never mind that— Where are you going?"

"I'm... I'm heading back to the human world."

Soley squealed with excitement, letting herself fall backwards onto your bed, hovering the letter she had already ripped open above her face.

"I left a letter for the brothers in my room... It's just on my pillow. So, if they don't see it tonight, can you give it to them tomorrow? I want you to make sure they read it after I'm already gone."

After she finished reading the contents of your message, she pushed herself up and ran out of your room. She rushed towards the common room, somewhere she knew the brothers wouldn't be around for long after just getting home. She made her way towards the fireplace and squatted down, carefully watching the flame dance before reaching the letter out to it. It didn't take long for the fire to engulf the whole thing, and the girl was smiling during the whole procedure.

The flame danced and danced and danced some more until there was nothing left of the papers but soot and ash. Soley jumped in surprise and got up on her feet when she heard the common room doors slowly creak open. She immediately dusted herself off and made sure she looked proper before facing the eldest born who had just entered the room.

"Soley, what are you doing so close to the fireplace?"

"Calm down, Lucifer. I didn't get hurt, I promise, so don't worry about me! I was just a bit cold, but I'm better now! Much, much better!"

"... Alright. We brought dinner from Hell's Kitchen, so head to the dining room. Everyone's already waiting."

"Okaayyy~!"

I just wanted to say that I still love you no matter what happens, and I want the best for all of you. I've never thought that things would go this way. Not since you accepted me as part of your family all those years ago. I really wished it didn't come to this, but it's too late for that now.

I'm writing this letter as a goodbye. A goodbye to all of our precious memories together and to what could have been. I'm really sorry that I went with this instead of personally saying goodbye, but even if I did get the chance to speak with you, I knew I wouldn't be able to bear it. I can't part with you while I look at your faces, so this is the best way. And, if there was any chance at all, I wouldn't want you to stop me.

By the time you're reading this, I've already left for the human realm. If you ever want to see me again, I added my home address and contact information on here. Please find me whenever you want to because I know for a fact that I would want to see you again and be part of your family once more. But for now, it's goodbye.

I'll be leaving my D.D.D. with Diavolo and Barbatos, so please don't contact me there anymore. It would be useless as I won't be able to see your messages.

You turn onto the sidewalk, the world turning white with the snowstorm. Your boots slip, untied and loose on your feet, as you put your head down against the swirling flakes. All sound is dampened by the thick heaps on the ground and the continuous flurry all around.

It takes you a moment to get your bearings. You’re pretty sure you’re going the right way. You should’ve paid more attention on the drive over. There’s a lot of things you should’ve noticed before now.

You slip on a thick patch of snow and catch yourself on one knee. You blink as snow clings to your eyelashes as you peer around. Your ears are whistling but hot with the plummeting temperature and you can barely see the glove on your own hand. If the bus even comes, it won’t be for some while, and it will be at least one transfer to get back to familiar ground.

You squeak in fright as you feel a tug on the back of your coat, then a hand on your arm. You’re hauled back to both feet and turn to face your accoster. Bucky doesn’t wear a coat as his silver hair collects white powder and he squints against the wind.

“H-hey,” you try to pull away.

“It’s bad out. You won’t make it–”

“St-stop!” You holler in a pitchy tone, “I-I-I’m fine.”

“I can’t let you go out into this,” he insists, “look around,” he points to the house nearest but you can’t see much through the wall of white pelting down, “power’s out. Plows won’t be for a while. Come back, just until the roads are cleared.”

“N-no, I’m f-f-fine. I c-c-can take care o-of myself,” you wriggle free of his grasp.

“I know you can,” he puts his hands up as snowflakes melt into the fabric of his shirt, “please, they got travel warnings out. You can’t be out here right now.”

“Why w-w-won’t you l-leave m-me alone? Y-y-you don’t e-e-even l-like me,” you accuse.

He’s quiet, face contorted against the whipping snow, his cheeks tinged slightly with the cold. He shakes his head, “I never said that.”

“Y-you don’t g-gotta.”

“Well,” he grabs your elbow and yanks you around, “I don’t hate you.” He marches you down the walk, your soles slipping, making resistance perilous, “so get inside.”

“W-w-woah,” you stumble as he keeps a brisk pace, his soles mulching into the layers of snow, “s-slow–”

He takes you back down the walk towards his house. The pool of sick you spat up is already hidden. He shoves you ahead of him as you get to the steps and follows you closely, reaching around you, nearly flush to your back, to open the door. He points you inside.

You kick your boots off and clamour in onto the mat. You turn to face him as he snaps the door shut behind him. He combs his fingers into his hair, messing it up to shake off the snow. You ball your fists as you stare at him, dizzy from the suddenness of your return.

“You have no idea, do you?” He sneers. “You go out there without a thought. A storm like this is dangerous, you know?”

“J-j-jeez,” you chatter, “you s-sound like my dad.”

He growls as he rips his boots off, shaking his head, “sounds like a smart man.”

“B-B-Bucky, I would b-be f-f-fine–”

“I made you tea before the power cut,” he interjects, “drink it, wait for the storm to calm. Then you can tell me to fuck off. How about that?”

“I d-d-didn’t–”

“Are you so unused to people giving a shit about you that you can’t accept a single nice thing?” His voice rises, startling you. “I mean, I heard your mother on the phone, I hate to put my nose where it doesn’t belong but Jesus Christ–”

“H-hey,” you murmur meekly, but not loud enough to stop him.

“You’re a smart girl, you just don’t give yourself a chance because you got all these other idiots dumping on you,” he rants at you with his hand in the air, “you shouldn't listen to them. You’re thirty years old, goddamnit, and you wrote a damn good script.”

You blink at him dumbly. He cringes as he seems to remember himself, to recall that he’s a grumpy old man, and that you’re just some irritating bug flying around his head. He lifts his hand to the back of his neck and scratches as you sway and look at the carpet.

“Take your coat off and come get your tea before it gets cold,” he sidles past you, brushing closer than you expect. He stalks off behind you but you’re too nervous to look after him. You hear another raspy hiss, “fuck…”

You put your armful down on the low bench, your movements slow and slightly shaky. You wet your chapped lips with your tongue as you stare at the door. You shrug off your coat and hang it on the rack then leave your boots on the rack.

You turn to face the house and wring your hands. Somehow, he can make hospitality seem like an attack. You hear the gales battering outside the walls as the snow continues to trim the window frames. He’s right, you were just as stupid as ever to go out into that. You’ll never tell him that though.

You slowly traipse down to the kitchen and find him there. He has his elbow on the counter as he leans over a mug and a book. There’s a booklight clipped to the top of the page in the dim of the power outage. Another glow comes from behind him, a candle lit and flickering with the scent of burning wood.

As you approach, he slides a mug towards you without looking up. You thank him in a mousy voice and let the warmth of the porcelain soothe you. You inhale the scent, it’s an interesting flavour but still steaming too hot too taste.

“Gingerbread…” he intones without looking up, “it looked interesting…” he pauses and lets his eyes flick up, “seemed like a you thing.” He reaches to the front of his shirt, unhooking the wire framed glasses there. He wipes them with his sleeve before putting them on and refocusing on his book, “you can tell me if it’s shit.”

You’re silent. You don’t know what to say. You were more than prepared to disappear into the blizzard, but not this. The realisation slowly sinks in. You’re trapped here and not just by his indomitable will.

An alphabet of old language in the “Dark rise” by C.S.Pacat

Disclaimer: I am new in this fandom, so I will be really sorry if the same work already exists. I did not want to duplicate someone`s work. Also, please, correct me if I miss something or make mistakes!

And remember: it`s just a theory.

"There is no sense in strange inscriptions", I thought, when I saw it in books for the first time. However, last evening I decided to compare translations with pictures in the book and found out that this language was not as hard for reading as I considered. I`d like to share my ideas about this topic and, if it would be interesting, to discuss some moments, which I can`t explain right now.

Some rules:

The main axiom is that one letter in English is one letter in this language.

“Tails” of vowels are pointing upward in every case.

“Tails” of consonants are pointing downward in most situations. (not always)

All letters add up in a line. (Part of the ship, part of the crew).

A dash line helps with selecting letters and words, but not always.

Full analysis will be only about the first example.

The key: “Rassalon the First Lion”. (Chapter 10)

This phrase is the best start for a work, because there are a plenty of repeating letters in words. Аll what I need is to find similar elements and to highlight them different colors.

Step 1 — selecting similar letters

"Rassalon..." and other words

We have double S in “RaSSalon”, so it is easy to notice similar details in the beginning. S also in the “FirSt”.

Double S are between two A, so they might stand in the edges.

R is left alone in the beginning, but it will be in “FiRst”.

L — "Lion"

I`m very grateful to my sister, who painted all illustrations for my article.

The investigation amused me a lot even if the alphabet is incomplete. Information isn`t enough at this moment, so I hope the second part of book will give new letters and new rules of old language. This is the new reason why I am exited of waiting for the “Dark heir”. I hope, dear reader, you share my delight of this discover.

One hilarious fact, before I end

English is not my native language, so I read “Dark rise” in the first time in my language. And I have two different paper editions 2021 and 2022 years.

I decided to compare pictures in books and…

There are SAME ILLUSTRATIONS every time, when there must be inscriptions in old language. If there is a short phrase, they cut THIS ILLUSTRATION and left only the begining of it. In other words, it is one illustration throughout two books.

I could understand if they did it only in the edition by 2021 year, but they did not! As well it doesn`t fit in my theory, because most of letters are different than previous ones.

Now I have some questions for other fans:

Was this illustration in the first edition?

Do you meet it in other translations? (or is it the joke of my translation?)

What is the key, if somebody know?

I tried to translate it as I did it before, but it was the mess. Therefore, I am open to new ideas.

welsh remus guide pt.3

Third Lesson

Right then, lads. It’s alphabet time.

Often, when looking at Welsh place names, it can seem confusing and overwhelming for anyone who is unfamiliar with Welsh. Sometimes, the confusion comes from not realising that the names are in Welsh.

Visually, we use the Latin alphabet and so it’s easy to make the assumption that the Welsh alphabet is exactly the same as the English.

It is not, my dudes.

To begin with, the following letters do not exist:

K, Q, V, X, Z

Secondly, these are the vowels:

A, E, I, O, U, W, Y

(Occasionally H is also a vowel but I couldn’t tell you when or why??? I usually go off of vibes)

Next, are the double letters. They count to us as single letters and each make a unique sound:

CH, DD, FF, NG, LL, PH, RH, TH

NG as in thiNG

PH as in PHil

FF as in Fun

RH as in RHiannon

TH as in THat

Now comes the uh, more complicated sounds.

For those familiar with German words such as Nacht or the name Brecht, the Welsh CH is that same sound.

CH as in naCHt

DD is like a harder TH sound. It is NOT a D sound.

LL sounds like hissing. I genuinely don’t know how else to explain this. It straight up does not exist in majority of languages but there are some out there with the same sound (sometimes shown with a different letter).

To hear it and learn more here’s a better explanation.

This is a really fun video on the different accents but someone mentions the town Llanelli so it’s also a good example of the LL sound.

And so in full we have:

A. B. C. CH. D. DD. E. F. FF.

G. NG. H. I. J. L. LL. M. N. O.

P. PH. R. RH. S. T. TH. U. W. Y.

There’s no K because the C is always a hard C sound.

There’s no V because a single F is always a hard V sound.

J is a modern addition to help us with new modern words we’ve loaned from English. Such as Joke becoming Jôc.

G is always a hard guttural G sound.

Despite misconceptions, Welsh is actually vowel heavy and we tend to stretch vowels. If a letter has a little roof on it, like “ô” or “ŵ” then it’s an extended/longer sound.

This means, when speaking English, our vowels are more likely to be elongated.

Similar to the “r” in Spanish, the Welsh “r” is rolled and therefore many will still roll their Rs when speaking English.

For a reason I have yet to discover, despite H being perfectly clear and pronounced when speaking in Welsh, when we speak English, a lot of areas have a habit of dropping the H sound.

“Here” becomes “Ere” or “Yere”

I am guilty of this. Why do I do this? I genuinely can’t tell you.

For the reasons above, the following words sound stupidly similar to each other:

Here

Hear

As with any language, understanding the basic sounds helps you understand the core of the accent.

In terms of character dynamics, I would take note that the “CH” and “LL” sounds along with our supposed “lack of vowels” is usually what the language is mocked for. Usually by English folk but other folks, including non-Welsh speaking Welsh folks are perfectly guilty of this mocking.

Fun fact: I didn’t realise W and Y weren’t vowels in the English language when I was a small child. So I really didn’t get why they thought there wasn’t any vowels in our place names.

Another thing to note is that the Welsh language and accents are very up and down. It’s not usually flat or monotone. A lot of people also describe them as melodic. Sing-songy even.

A: Character B is aggressively reassuring to Character A. They're the type to go "YOU'RE THE BEST. INCREDIBLE. THE LOVE OF MY LIFE." and Character A is going "OKAY! OKAY!"

B: Character A tells Character B they feel bad about themselves. Character B responds by giving them the saddest look they've ever seen, and hugging them so incredibly tight as they whisper reassurances over and over again.

C: Character B kisses all of the places Character A is insecure about.

D: Character B gives Character A a nickname thar directly contradicts their insecurities. (EX: Calling them "Gorgeous" when their biggest insecurity is there face.)

E: Character A wakes up one night with Character B gently trailing a finger down their jaw. When they ask what they're doing, they reply, "Sorry. You're just so beautiful."

F: When Character B learns the depths of Character A's insecurities, they make a huge list of all the things they love about their partner to give to them.

More Undercut

G: Character A hides their insecurities under lock and key. That's why it shocks them when Character B directly compliments something they're insecure about.

H: Character B fondly calls Character A their "perfect (something)" (Examples: My perfect rose. My perfect gem. My perfect darling.)

I: Character A has always thought poorly of themselves. That's why it shocked them so much when they overheard Character A talking so highly about them to friends/family.

J: Character B proudly introduces Character A as their partner.

K: Character B not only reassures them, but is heavily encouraging of them to seek therapy.

L: When someone insults Character A's insecurities, Character B is the first person to jump to their defense.

M: Character B has a running joke that if Character A were a celebrity they'd be their biggest fan. Because everything about them is so wonderful.

N: Character B takes nonstop pictures of Character A because they find them so gorgeous. Character A is so shocked and flustered when they find out.

O: Character B has a chance to change Character A through magical means. They choose not to because they think Character A is perfect the way they are.

P: Character B shocks Character A by saying "I wish I was (trait they don't think they have.) like you." with a very genuine grin.

Q: Character A asks Character B how they would describe them. Without hesitation Character B responds with "Talented!"

R: Character B has a hard time fully grasping A's insecurities because they think so highly of them. In a weird way it's very reassuring on it's own.

S: Character B draws Character A and Character A realizes how beautiful they see them.

T: Character B is always there to listen and reassure if Character A needs to talk about their insecurities.

U: Character A is good at telling when people are lying. When Character B compliments them, they can tell that they're being nothing but truthful.

V: Character A can see how Character B's jaw drops whenever they entire the room. Their repeated reaction is a deep reassurance.

W: Character B always loudly acknowledges when Character A does a good job. They want them to understand how proud of them they are.

X: A very drunk/tired/under a truth serum Character B tells Character A that they think they're perfect.

Y: Character B is very full of themself. When Character A admits that they're insecure, Character B responds with "What?! But I am the most wonderful person alive and I assure you we're in the same league."

Z: Character B doesn't need to speak to reassure Character A. All they need to do is look at them with that loving look swirling in their eyes.

A= Admiration (what do they absolutely adore about you?) :

He adores EVERYTHING about u! but the thing he most adores about you is your as- i mean your personality! Jokes aside, he adores every part of you but mostly your laugh. He just finds it so pretty and soothing.

B= Body (what is their favorite part of your body?) :

DEF YOUR THIGHS. HE JUST GIVE THIGH GUY VIBES YK?!?!! HE ADORES THEM NO MATTER THICK OR THIN, SHORT OR TALL, LIGHT OR DARK HE LOVES THEM ANYWAY‼️

C= Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?) :

He def cuddles facing or spooning! He 100% small spoon most of them time, but if your not feeling well or your sad he’ll be big spoon

D= Dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?) :

Dates at the diner 100% (before bite of 87’ ofc) or arcade dates! He’d beat you half the time but sometimes let you win bc he’s a gentleman (to you and only you)

E= Emotions (how do they express emotion around you?) :

He has a hard time with emotions, especially after the d3ath of his little brother, but he tries his best to express his emotions to you from time to time.

F= Family (do they want one? If they do, when?) :

He definitely wants a family but just not yet, the reasoning is because his greatest fear is that when he gets kids he feels like he gonna turn into his father. So he wants to wait a dew until he forgets or the fear goes away!

G= Gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? What are their habits when it comes to this?) :

He LOVES gift giving he’ll find different stuff im the woods for you! (like twigs, rocks, mushrooms, etc.) you may find it odd but you still love him! He also wins a plushie from an arcade you mentioned one time, you were confused but loves it.

H= Holding Hands (when/how do they like to hold your hand?) :

He loves holding your hand! but also doesn’t like PDA that much. He’ll hold your hand or put an arm around your shoulder in public, just not too much! (hes got an ego to keep.)

I = Injury (how would they act if you got hurt?) :

If it was minor, he’s would laugh and tell you to walk it off. If it was major, he’d be bouncing off the walls in panic. Like fight or flight mode on, it chose flight. He’d run and grab the first aid kit he saw and run back to fix it (the best he can at-least)

J= Jokes (do they like to joke around with or prank you? how?):

He tries and jokes around here and there. He’ll make inappropriate jokes to make you laugh when your down. Sometimes he makes jokes about you and it gets out of hand sometimes so it ends with you guys curled up on the couch watching ghostbusters.

K= Kisses (how do they like to kiss you?):

HE LOVES TO KISS YOUR LIPS OR NECK. You can not tell me differ that this man would not kiss your lips nor neck 24/7. He just always ‘smooch’ on your soft lips or leaving soft pecks on your neck when you sit in his lap

L= Love (how do they show you they love you?):

He def shows love by spending time together wether it be at the arcade or your house, and he loves spoiling you sm. He may not be able to afford the best gifts but you don’t love him for money (i hope).

M= Memory (favorite memory together?):

His favourite memory of his was after his brothers death you comforted him very hard. He was having a panic attack and degrading himself so hard saying stuff like ‘i’m a fucking horrible person’ , ‘i should be here i’ve juts killed my own brother why am i still here’, and ‘god just take my now, i’ve murdered my brother, please let me be with him’ and you were like bbg no your wrong. He cried so hard that day, your shirt was soaked with guilt and woe.

N = Nightmare (what is their worst fear?):

Mentioned before (F-Family) his worst fear is him turning into his father. The reason being William was never a good father to Him, Evan or Lizzy, he would ignore them and sometime abuse Michael for the way he treats Evan. So if he ever has kids w/ you he never wants to treat his kids like that.

O = Oddity (what is one quirk they have?):

One quirk he has is he always quotes any movie he’s seen. Doesn’t matter where, when, or why he just does. Like out the blue he’ll quote “fuck me gently with a chainsaw” (ifyky) you’ll just have a confused look on your face the whole time.

P= Pet Names (what do they like to call you?):

The pet names he uses for you is Love, Babe, Baby 100% Reasoning because Love in a British accent is just *mwah!*, Babe is a basic pet name and he likes to keep things simple, and Baby because your a crybab- jk because your his bbg😍

= Quality Time (how do they like to spend time with you?):

He loves to hang out in the woods or the arcade with you. Either kicking your ass at air hockey or finding different rocks and mushrooms in the woods behind yours/his house.

R= Rhythm (what song reminds you of them?):

A song that reminds me of micheal is def Creep by Radiohead (ik basic) idk why but that songs juts gives me teenage micheal afton vibes

S= Secrets (how open are they with you?):

He’s decently open with you. He keeps some secrets to himself, like the way he treated his brother before meeting you or what his father does to him behind closed doors, but besides that he mostly opens up about his feelings and tells you what’s wrong in his life.

T= Time (how long did it take you to get together?):

It took you two 2 1/2 years to get together. You started out as best friends then you guys became enemies in late elementary school, then became friends again in early middle school and in late 8th grade, early 9th you started officially dating.

U= Upset (how do they act when you're upset?):

He tried his best to help cheer you up. Sometimes it works, sometimes it don’t. When it doesn’t he’ll also become sad then you’ll have to cheer him up and its juts a never ending cycle of sadness.

V= Vaunt (what are they proud of? Do they like to show you off?):

He’s very proud of his improvement of kindness to not only his brother but to everyone after he met you! He also loves showing you off. He wants everyone too know that your taken and his.

W= Warrior (how do they feel about you fighting? Would they fight for you, beside you, etc?):

He isn’t the biggest on fighting but would fight someone for you. He wouldn’t fight someone with you but still would be your biggest hype man on the side!

X= X-Ray (how well are they able to read you?):

He can read you pretty well. He can tell when your mood isn’t your normal mood. When you walk into a room slouching forward and not taking he knows what up.

Y= Yes (how would they propose to you?):

He would go to your first date spot (the arcade ofc) and do everything you did on your first date! That includes eating pizza, playing loads of different games, kicking your ass in air hockey, and winning you cool prizes! At the end when you won a prize he told the person at the prize counter to give you the ring box instead of the prize. He said his vows and what not you orc you said yes! Ofc at the end you still got your prize :)

Z= Zen (what makes them feel calm?):

The things that make him feel calm are You (ofc), Music, Arcade Games, and Sleeping. You because your the only person that has ever looked out for him, Music because its one of the only things that helps him in need, Arcade Games because it easily takes his mind off things, and Sleeping because it easily helps him get away from stuff lime his father and school.

Fluff Alphabet - Frost PT.1

Request: Could you do a fluff alphabet for Frost? If you can’t, could you at least do F, J, M, W and X? (Also, could you do street fighter?) Could you add P to the frost thing pls?

I am going to be used an un-cyberized Frost who works with SF alongside her S/o. This contains Letters C, E, F, G, H, K, L, M, N, P, Q, W, Y

C omfort - How would they help their s/o when they feel down/have a panic attack etc.?

Frost is not the most emotionally aware person, but she tries her best. She covers her own problems with bravado, so don’t expect her to give any a valuable insight. She would probably just hold you and try to make you feel secure. She’s doing her best.

E qual - Are they the dominant one in the relationship, or rather passive?

Frost tends to be very abrasive and dominant in everything she does, including your relationship.

Well...until you try to be dominant.

She will tease you relentlessly, but the second you retaliate, it’s like a switch was flipped.

Frost will immediately become shy and submissive.

F ight - Would they be easy to forgive their s/o? How are they fighting?

It depends on what the fight was about.

If the fight was about something small, Frost tends to hold a tiny grudge but will let it go after awhile. She WILL get you back though in one way or another 😈.

If the fight was something big, she will get really emotional about it and accuse her S/o of planning to abandon her. Frost also resorts to insults and underhanded comments during an argument. She doesn’t mean them, but it still hurts. It takes a lot of patience to be in a relationship with Frost. Afterwards (or if her S/o starts to cry), Frost will begin to panic and frantically try to apologize.

If the fight is about her exodus from the Lin Kuei or her alliance with Kronika, there is a chance she could get violent. She will stop herself, but it is a really sensitive topic. It is best to steer clear of those subjects.

G ratitude - How grateful are they in general? Are they aware of what their s/o is doing for them?

Frost tends to keep most things out in the open. She usually says what she means and means what she says.

It’s what she doesn’t say that is concerning.

Frost bottles A LOT of her emotions up and she tends to keep things to herself. Expect to have to do a little digging if you wants her to open up.

Once she sees you aren’t going to tear her head off for expressing herself, she will begin to be more trusting.

K iss - Are they a good kisser? What was the first kiss like?

Her lips are cold.

No clue what you were expecting but kissing her is not like kissing an ice pop.

If feels like a normal kiss but your lips tend to feel tingly like you rubbed menthol on them.

She is VERY good at kissing. Like damn!

The first kiss will definitely come when she has to bail you out after you do something stupid. She would be yelling at you one second and yanking you towards her the next.

She blushes like crazy immediately afterwards.

L ove Confession - How would they confess to their s/o?

It could go one of two ways depending on how dominant or submissive her S/o is:

Scenario #1

Frost: “(Y/n)?”

(Y/n): “Yeah?”

Frost: “You’re my S/o, now.”

(Y/n): “O-okay.”

Frost: . . .

(Y/n): . . .

Frost: “Also, if Cassie even looks at you, I am going to kill her.”

(Y/n): “Frost, no!”

Scenario #2

Frost: “H-hey, (Y/n)?”

(Y/n): “Yeah?”

Frost: “I..uh... wanted to-”

(Y/n): “Tell me you think I am hot?”

Frost: “What?! No!”

(Y/n): “Well, I think you’re hot.”

Frost, furiously blushing: “Fuck off! I hate you!”

*Frost walks off*

(Y/n): “Love you, too! I’ll pick you up later!”

M arriage - Do they want to get married? How do they propose? What would the marriage be like?

Frost hasn’t really thought about an official marriage. She doesn’t see the point, but is open to it if her S/o is.

Her S/o would need to propose to her because she wouldn’t be able to other wise.

(Y/n): “Do you want to get married?”

Frost: “I...I thought we were?”

After getting married, Frost and her S/o would either live on the Lin Kuei Compound (if she reconciled with Sub-Zero), or live in an apartment.

N icknames - What do they call their s/o?

Frost doesn’t really use nicknames, but call her by any pet name and she will implode.

Frost: “GOD DAMMIT, (Y/n)! How many times have I told you...?! (Y/N)!”

(Y/n): *Takes out earbuds* “Hmm? What did you say, snowball?”

Frost, a blushing flustered mess: “I-I don’t remember.”

P DA - Are they upfront about their relationship? Do they brag with their s/o in front of others? Or are they rather shy to kiss etc. when others are watching?

Frost is not a fan of PDA and is rather reserved about her relationship. She definitely won’t gush about her S/o in public; she has a reputation to uphold. What would people think if the coldest killer on Earth melted at the very sight of her S/o? However, she will brag to Cassie and jab at her inability to hold a boyfriend.

Just because she doesn’t initiate PDA doesn’t mean she will stop her S/o from doing so

PDA has an...effect on her. If you even hold her hand in public, she will have a complete mental shutdown. If she was still a cyborg, she would be steaming like a cartoon. Cassie can, and has, used this against her before.

Q uirk - Some random ability they have that’s beneficial in a relationship.

She may or may not like to make frozen treats. I know it is cliché, but her ice powers make it really easy and she enjoys it. Ice cream, Sorbets, Iced coffee, Ice pops, etc. She will make anything and have her S/o taste test.

W ild Card - A random Fluff Headcanon.

(With cyberized Frost)

It seemed like a completely normal night returning from work. Walking up to your home, you heard a crash and rolling sound from inside. A burglar? You are (probably) a trained fighter and your girlfriend is a stone-cold, killer cyborg, so you felt pretty confident you weren’t in danger. You cautiously open the door and creep through your living room. You grab a (preferred household weapon/item) and follow the noise. You climb up the stair, avoiding creaky floor boards. A bump sounds from the bedroom. Before you can get to the door, it opens with hitch pitch creak. A headless figure emerges. You shriek as the figure lunges at you. Its grip is tight and it pulls you into the room before letting go. You flip the light switch and see... Frost’s body?

A muffled, “(Y/n)? (Y/n)! Help!” can be heard from under the bed. You peak under and spot your girlfriend’s head in the center of the cobweb filled dark.

“Frost? What happened.”

“My body malfunctioned and I-”

“Lost your head?”

“Shut up! Can you help me out?”

“Your body seemed pretty coordinated. Why can you get yourself out?”

*Blushing* “I can’t fit.”

“Oh, give me a minute”

You had to use a broom to push her out.

Y earning - How will they cope when they’re missing their partner?

She doesn’t cope...like at all.

When you are away from her for long periods of time, she gets CRAZY aggressive.

It got so bad that Kronika had to give you a temporal anchor so you could visit her fortress.

And Elder Gods forbid you join the coalition against Kronika. Frost will be inconsolable (privately of course) when she hears the news and then become extremely angry.

On the battlefield, she’ll make a B-line for you and try to murder your ass. She will act like she hates you more than Quai Liang but she is really just hurt.

The only thing keeping her going is Kronika’s promise that you will be by her side in the new Era.

A - admiration (what do they adore about you)

Your whole existence, honestly. He adores everything about u.

B - body (what is their favorite body part of your body?)

your hands. whether he kisses your hand or holds them.

C - cuddling (do they like cuddling?)

Yes, during his downtime! Due to his busy schedule, he is unable to spend much time with you, but he makes it up when he has free time. He's usually the huge spoon.

D - dates (what does their ideal date with you look like?)

Robaire loves going on fancy restaurant dates with you. He occasionally prefers to go on quieter dates, such as those at the library or a coffee shop.

E - emotions (how do they express emotion around you?)

By talking about it with you. Let him rant the weight off his chest.

Yeah! Robaire definitely wants one.

G - gifts (how do they feel about gift giving? what are their habits when it comes to this?)

loves to spoil you and buy you expensive gifts. It's one of his love languages.

a LOT !! It makes him feel at ease.

I - injury (how would they act if you got hurt?)

This man would be so worried. He will take care of you; lets you rest, drink water, eat healthy meals, drink your vitamins/medicine etc. Never lets you do anything 😭 what a gentleman.

He isnt the 'goofy' type, but will sometimes joke around/prank you just to hear you laugh.

Rob 100% loves to kiss you. he gives long-lasting, sweet and passionate kisses. The ones that take your breath away.

L - love (how do they show you they love you/their love languages?)

His love languages are words of affirmation and gift giving. He really loves spoiling his partner and compliments them everyday!!

M - memory (favorite memory together?)

When he took you out in the rain to dance 🥹🥹. It was a simple but unforgettable memory together.

Makes you coffee and gently confronts you about it. He doesn't like to see his partner upset.

Robaire LOVES to show you off every. single. day. He's never met nobody like you ✨

HE WOULD!!

X - x-ray (how well are they able to read you?)

He can read you like an open book. When something happens, he'd able to tell it right away.
