Without clinging to it obsessively, I clutch my deepest dreams my fondest wishes and my secret sins close. . . for even I who claim to have no illusions of privacy from the all knowing God or Universe still think that hiding parts of myself will somehow protect me from the disbelief of others diluting my dreams to a puddle spalshed away by a stomping foot, from the dismissal of those who think wishing and dreaming a foolish endeavor from the judgement of those who may already be searching for nails for my hands and feet.
