Maria’s abilities lay with building; weapons, bombs, nearly anything—being able to envision exactly what it is that needs to be done to make something she’s working on run right.

During the war she ended up with a spinal injury that impacted her ability to walk, she built herself mechanical braces out a celestial bronze that both help her to walk and make fighting against monsters that much easier.

Personality:

Well Maria holds many of the same values as she did in her previous life, she is also much more vocal about the way she feels than she. Most of this is due to the different time periods that she was raised in between the two. Still, family is very important to her and she would do whatever it takes to protect and stay close to those that she cares about.

She is also a very stubborn and determined woman, when warned not to push herself after the war she ignored the medics and built her braces and pushed through. She had a set back nearly 3 months later and finally listened and started going slower, taking the recommended physical therapy appointments and letting the doctors assess her work on the braces.

Background Information:

Maria was born to an 8th generation legacy of Ceres and the god Vulcan, making her a 9th generation legacy of Ceres and a first generation daughter of Vulcan. Growing up she was expected by other’s to excell at in the Legion, more because of her determination than anything else. And excell she did, not as a fighter though she was as skilled at that as most basic legion members were; but as a builder of weapons and bombs specifically meant to kill monsters.

One problem she has always had however is a fear or earthquakes and hotels, something that no one seems to be able to find a reason for. Whenever these fears are triggered, she get’s slight flashes, like her soul is remembering something that her brain has no recolection of. When Nico Di Angelo came to camp in the beginning she did her best to avoid him, for the simple reasoning of the 2 Lares that tended to stick close to her warning her to keep away from him if she didn’t want her problem to get worse.

Though she wasn’t sure what exactly they meant, she assumed that they were refering to the flashes that she had had when she first heard about him—and the Lares had always steered her right before. So she tookntheir advice, and anytime that he would come to camp she was sure to hole herself away into her work room.

Unknown to her? When Maria Di'Angelo decided to be reborn she begged Hades, if she sees her children again please let her remember them. He couldn't make her any promises on his own, but with the help of Zagreus he was able to reluctantly grant her request before him and Persephone said goodbye to her for the last time.

Hey there! Are you looking for a group Percy Jackson roleplay on discord?

The roleplay takes place in both Camp Half-Blood and Camp Jupiter, and it begins directly after The Blood of Olympus ends. It will stay (semi) close to canon material. The content is mostly Greek and Roman demigods learning how to heal now that the war is over, and exploring how they go about life now they've got a chance to breathe and be normal teenagers. (Well, as normal as a demigod can be, anyway.) Currently, we are only accepting canon characters.

We’re a group of literate roleplayers and expect a paragraph (or a few!) per response, but we aren’t extremely demanding of activity. We generally ask that you respond to each of your threads at least once a week.

While maturity is expected from all members, we are open to all ages! There is no nsfw content in our server, ic or ooc. We are also lgbt+ friendly (ic and ooc), and we enjoy talking ooc — we’re all very friendly, and we love new additions to the group!

My Top 10 ships in no particular order

Stucky (James “Bucky” Barnes x Steve Rogers) - for me this ship can be a brotp and a traditional otp depending on the time period you’re looking at but either way there is no denying the bond between these two

GamTav (Gamzee Makara x Tavros Nitram) - this was my original otp from Homestuck, the first time I saw them together I knew i’d love them forever

Sterek (Stiles Stilinski x Derek Hale) - maybe i’m more in love with the way these characters are portrayed by the actors but within the first couple episodes you tell there’s something going one, another forever otp

DaveKat (Dave Strider x Karkat Vantas) - yes another homestuck pairing it was my original fandom, but I love these two because they’re cute and canon

Wiccan and Hulkling (Billy Kaplan x Theodore “Teddy” Altman) - another marvel pairing, I love them because 1) they’re awesome heroes but also 2) they’re canon so yay for my heart lol.

Spideypool (Spiderman x Deadpool) - now this ship only exists for me between two legal adults i.e. 20 something year old comic book Peter Parker and Wade Wilson not Tom Holland Peter Parker, but this is also another “it can either be a brotp or a regular otp” ship depending on how you look at it

McHanzo [?????] (Jesse McCree x Hanzo Shimada) - now this is a new ship for me that the only reason I love it is because of all the beautiful fanart of not only this ship but also the Overwatch community, also the game is cool as hell and so are these two characters

Wolfstar ( Remus Lupin x Sirius Black) - now this is a ship I fell in love with once again thanks to how the actors portrayed the characters but also because of the books and the Harry Potter/J.K.Rowling Community with big props to the cosplay/rp community

PruCan (Gilbert “Prussia” Beilschmidt x Matthew “Canada” Williams) - they’re just cute together, I have no justification for it

Solangelo (Will Solace x Nico DiAngelo) - literal polar opposites, I love Rick Riordan’s writing, and they’re just damn cute and canon
