Book review
Film review
Write about your day
Collage
Vision board
Habit tracker
Calendar page
Notes from something you're learning
Quotes you like
Draw some outfits you like
Search up creative writing prompts and do those
Meditate and write down your thoughts before / during / after (I don't do this everytime or sometimes I'll only write afterwards but when I write before, during and after it's always really interesting to read back on and see how much has changed)
Stickerbomb page
Films to watch
Books to read
Wishlist
Bucket list
Highlight of the day (I like to have a page in my journal where I write a short sentence of my favourite thing that happened that day, it's nice to look back on and it's nice especially for days when I'm not feeling well enough to do a longer entry)
Gratitude list
Random thoughts
Drawings and sketches (I'm not even good at drawing but I love drawing or sketching in my journals and just expressing myself)
This one is more for chronically ill people but making notes for doctor / hospital appointments which helps so much! I have severe memory loss so a lot of the time I'll turn up to an appointment and have totally forgotten about anything I'd hoped to say so this has been a total lifesaver
Along with what I said in my last point about living with severe memory loss my whole journal works towards helping me deal with living with the memory loss. I'll probably do another post soon about more in depth ideas for journaling to help life with memory loss but I write down SO MUCH. I've got to do lists, a calendar page, my night routine (I'll also have my morning routine written down once I've actually worked one out!), things I need to do everyday (such as brushing my teeth, washing my face etc), contact info for people I'm close to, labelled photos of my loved ones (it can be really scary when I don't recognise people so having these pages really help), a list of things I can do throughout the day (I'm on bedrest but having a list of things that I enjoy doing written down is a nice reminder, some of the things on the list at the moment are make tiktok videos, do makeup, watch a movie or tv show, journal, scrapbook etc)

Fellow cripples with bad memory on top of other disabilities, y'all have any tips on how to remember things that aren't yet routine but should be? Putting things out in plane sight helps some but I still forget what I need to do more often than not. Is there anything that works/helps with this?

Now that I've been talking about Sabo's eye... I wish I knew how to draw to show you but-- I have a very specific view when it comes to Sabo's design.
I think he shouldn't have an eye, for starters. He should have a very fucked up scar and no eye at all. He wears a glass eye sometimes but it's funny to him to just... Not wear it at all. Also, Koala finds it disgusting and creepy the way he jokes about it but Luffy loves every second of it.
Not to mention that the scar isn't only on his face but pretty much all half of his body. But already knew that.
The thing is- I really, really, really liked him with that missing tooth when he was a kid. I loved it. He was adorable. And I think that he should get into a fight and lose the same tooth so Luffy goes "Oh! You look like when we were little!" and Sabo decides to ignore the thought of getting another tooth because it makes Luffy happy and also it looks cool. So now he has a missing tooth and he looks hotter.
So, yeah, missing eye. Missing tooth. Scars all over his body. AND! He can't hear from one ear. Right ear? It's alright. Perfect hearing. The left one, though? A fucking mess. And he often uses that as an excuse to say he isn't hearing things he refuses to hear, like, idk, Koala telling him to do his work.
His leg is also a bit too messed up and sometimes he has difficulty walking. Which isn't a problem anymore when he eats the Mera Mera fruit, but it still bothers him. So the metal pipe is mostly to beat the shit out of people but also to walk. It's just that nobody knows that bit.
Also, random outfits I found on pinterest that I imagine Sabo wearing because my mind has no limits:

my osdd brain: Oh your friendship fell apart? Your friend did the worst thing possible to you and then abandoned you? Ok I'm on it. Memories of the whole friendship erased. You will only ever remember the betrayal.
What do you mean this wasn't what you wanted? I know better. Memories of good times are your enemy. If you remembered you would miss your friend and go back to them despite them being dangerous to you (see: ultimate betrayal and abandonment). This is for your own good.

Memory loss due to mental illness is devastating. What’s more painful is holding close to a memory you'd most certainly rather forget.
