request: a blurb where he actually gets mad at JJ when she confesses to love him but doesn't really say anything at the moment. But then when he introduces reader to the team as his girlfriend, JJ is being kinda rude to her. She tries to tell him she doesn't like her, that she's not good for him. And spencer gets mad and protective👀 maybe he even throws a "i'm going to marry her, whether you like it or not".
a/n: my return piece !!
Pairing: Spencer Reid x Fem!Reader (Fluff)
Word Count: 2.2k
Spencer sees red when he walks out of the jewelry store after shooting the unsub.
JJ is the first girl he has ever asked out, someone he pined over for years after her subtle rejection at the Redskins game. He understood her reasoning. It would have been impractical for them to add relationship highs and lows to everything the BAU has been through over fourteen years, and that's if they stayed together. If they hadn't, things would have been even more complicated.
Also she just generally didn't like him that way. Or so he thought.
It didn't mean she wasn't his ideal for many years. His first love, who had so many traits he didn't have that he desperately wanted.
His confirmation he would be unlucky in love came after that with Maeve, who he once again thought could be the one for him. And then he realized that maybe the person for him had been taken away from him.
Then he met Y/n, and it all seemed worth it. All those terrible nights of crying and feeling like he would forever be alone, all the times he was the only single one on the team, knowing everyone was going home to someone they loved unconditionally and relied on for support.
She's the sun and the moon, and he fell in love so fast he couldn't stop it. Luckily, she did too.
Until JJ fucked it up.
The truth she had to tell to get them out alive dropped an atomic bomb on his newly formed life plans.
Spencer doesn't speak to her that night as they finish their recounts and reports. She leaves it out, though, he discovers, opting to write the secret about her miscarriage instead of confessing her love for her best friend and the godfather of her kids.
It messes with his head the whole way home. He can't sleep on the jet, even if he wanted to as he tried to work out what he was feeling.
All JJ does is send him pleading looks, and all he does is get angry because how dare she do this now? After she had fifteen years of them working together, all those chances to tell him how she felt.
He would have married and had a family with her, the family he always wanted. It's always stayed in the back of his head for so long, and just as he sees someone else in that role in his dreams, she drudges all of it back up.
It's such a long flight, and he taps his foot the whole way while staring out the window, not even able to read.
He goes to Y/n's. He's not sure what he's going to say, how much of it he's going to tell her, but he needs to see her to cool off the fury boiling out of him.
"Hey, handsome." She calls out when he walks in the door as cheerful as ever.
He feels a pit of guilt sink into his stomach because he can't tell her without ruining everything they delicately have put together. Maybe it's wrong to lie by omission, but his brain keeps coming back to fault. And it's JJ's fault. She's the one who's jeopardizing everything.
"Hi, gorgeous." He replies, walking into the living room to find her laying on the couch, book in her hands and her head on the armrest. He's reminded how accurate the petname he calls her by is when he's taken off guard by her breathless beauty. "How are you liking it?" He asks.
"It's good." She answers, putting the book down. "But that's because it's very you."
She gets up, meeting him behind the couch to cup his jaw, stroking over his skin and staring into his eyes for a moment before kissing him properly.
He relaxes into it, the tension in his shoulders easing and his brain slowing down for a moment. It's heavenly, as always, and it's what being loved is meant to feel like.
"How was your case?" She asks when she pulls back, still not daring to move too far away from him.
He tenses instantly at that, totally readable behavior, but he's got to perfect excuse to play it off. "It was rough." He holds out his bandaged hand that he's been avoiding showing her. "I got hurt."
"Shit." She straightens up, noticing how big it looked. "What happened?"
"Cut it on glass." He answers, not going as far as to say where he was when it occurred. "I'm fine, though. Promise."
She nods, reassured. "We've got to be up in, like, six hours, you know?" She reminds him of the time.
With the amount of coffee and adrenaline in his system, he barely registered it was already past 2 in the morning. Usually, they would have stayed in LA for the night, but being home in time for Rossi's wedding trumped a good night of sleep for everyone.
"Can I sleep here?" He wonders, awkwardly looking down at his feet.
"Duh. I'm not going to kick you out and make you come pick me up so we can go tomorrow morning." She jokes. "Picked up your suit, too. You're going to look very handsome."
Spencer grins because she seriously can't get more perfect. She still feels so unattainable, but he'd do anything to make sure he doesn't lose her.
He really should tell her, but he can't. Not right now.
Y/n snaps him out of it. "Bedtime now?"
"Please." He agrees gratefully, keeping his arms wrapped around her while they walk to her bedroom.
He keeps her close while they go through the motions of getting ready for bed. Spencer quickly sheds his suit and both of them brush their teeth.
His head is on the pillow for only a few seconds before he's asleep, and she follows soon after.
The alarm going off isn't as much of a problem when Spencer is lying in bed next to her, arm wrapped around her waist. It's one of the things she misses a lot when he's away.
"Hi, beautiful," Spencer whispers, a husky voice as always. He's glad he fell asleep quickly, not having wanted to sit up thinking about the stupid things JJ has said. He just couldn't understand why it was coming up now. Sleep provided absolutely no clarity.
She grins at him. "Hi."
"Are you ready for today?" He asks softly.
"A little nervous," Y/n admits. The BAU is his family after all. His mom is there but the BAU has been where he's spent most of his life for the last 15 years.
"They'll love you." Because I love you. Spencer assures her.
She smiles softly, feeling a little better. "Let's get up then."
Spencer agrees, not before planting a few kisses on her lips and hugging her tightly.
They get ready side by side, feeling a great sense of domesticity. She's never gotten close to someone as quickly as she has with Spencer. Somehow, it's not scary that it's happened this way.
"Wow, you're very gorgeous," Spencer tells her as she touches up the final strand of her hair, adding enough hairspray that it won't fall out. He stands in the doorway of the bathroom, admiring her. "Wow."
"Thank you." Y/n spins around to look at him in his deep maroon suit. It matches her dress color which she agrees looks very nice on her. "And you're very handsome."
"Ready? The car is coming soon." He says.
She nods, fixing her bracelet. "Let's do it."
There are still some nerves as the car takes them to the venue. Spencer does a good job of assuring her it'll be okay, his hand like a magnet to her thigh. He seems slightly off like there's something out of place, but she shrugs it off. She hopes he's being cute and afraid his friends still say something embarrassing.
The venue and interior are exquisite as they make their way in. She takes a deep breath before they come across the man of the day, welcoming everyone at the entrance. She has no doubt that the value of the artwork in this room totals her apartment and everything in it.
"Spencer." Rossi, supposably, greets him in a tight hug.
"This is my girlfriend, Y/n." Spencer introduces them.
As she expects, and as she was warned about by Spencer, Rossi pulls her in for a hug, immediately calming her nerves with his warm greeting. "It's so nice to meet you. This one won't stop talking about you." Rossi jokes, nodding at an increasingly reddening Spencer.
"It's nice to meet you too." She smiles. "Thank you for inviting me."
Rossi nods. "Of course, it's a pleasure."
And then the rest of the introductions begin. Everyone's so kind, like she expected. She's seen photos and heard stories but everyone seems to have more personality than he conveyed. She's quickly fast friends with Penelope and Tara who do their absolute best to make sure Y/n's feeling comfortable.
It's how she ends up being dragged onto the dance floor after the ceremony. Once the alcohol starts flowing, there's no more anxiousness left and some extroverted spirit has been brought out.
Spencer's not one to dance, but he's one to admire. Only Y/n, though. She looks angelic, despite the old-style dance moves.
He's so wrapped up in watching her that he doesn't register JJ's heels on the ground as she approaches him. It's only when she sits next to him that his head turns around to face her.
He waits for her to speak first. Hopefully, provide some explanation.
"Spencer." She says his name softly, almost like how he used to imagine she'd say it if they were together. Much to his surprise, she doesn't go into any detail about the bomb she'd dropped less than 24 hours ago. "I'm worried about you."
He doesn't hide his scoff. "Worried about me?" He repeats.
She goes for another tactic, trying not to get him mad. "You don't think you're rushing into this?"
"Rushing into what, Jennifer?" He spits back, snapping to anger. Using her first name drives the point home, almost unnecessarily when he sounds so angered.
"You know what I mean." She continues. "You've only been talking about her for a few weeks and now she's here."
He can't fathom that she'd suggest he's rushing into a relationship. He's been careful and deliberate, but Y/n's safe, and she's proved it time and time again.
"She's been part of my life for 6 months." Spencer fact-checks her. "And you said I seemed happier since I met her."
JJ stalls, regrouping before trying another angle. "She's just not what I expected. Is she really the type you should be with?"
"What does that mean?" Spencer states, more furious than ever. There's a chance he will fully snap at her and he wouldn't be sorry.
"I feel like you should be with someone extroverted." She suggests. "You know, someone to get you out of your shell."
Spencer needs a deep breath. "You're not being a good friend right now." He tells her much more calmly. There's not one thing he doesn't love about Y/n, whether she's more on the extroverted or introverted side."I'm going to marry her, whether you like it or not." It's not even what he expected to come out of his mouth.
"Spence-" JJ tries again to reason with him.
"No, don't you dare," Spencer says firmly. "You flew back and forth from New Orleans so many times to see Will, without telling us once and we were all accepting of your relationship. If you don't like my relationship, I don't care. But it's not too soon for me to know. We can talk about what you told me later, but for now, I'm going to dance with my girlfriend." Without another word, he gets up and walks off, leaving her a little gobsmacked.
Y/n frowns at him as he approaches the dance floor. "Are you okay?" She checks.
"More than okay," Spencer tells her with a soft smile.
"Dance with me then." She says, mirroring her smile and holding out her hand.
"I'd love to." He takes her hand just as a slow song comes on for them to sway together.
JJ gets ignored by him for the rest of the night, something unnoticed by Y/n but purposeful by Spencer. But it's fun. So much fun. And he's sure he wouldn't be having as much fun had Y/n not been there. She truly makes his day.
They're in the car later that night, parked near her apartment, ice cream eaten on the trip home. "I'm in love with you," Spencer admits when her laughter falls off after he tells a joke.
It's not a word they've said before.
Her expression is of pure shock, but joy quickly creeps in. "I'm in love with you too." She tells him, grinning.
And it's an entirely better confession than the one he heard 24 hours ago.

“baby keep talking, but nobody’s listening!”
anime: jujutsu kaisen
characters: gojo satoru, choso, fushiguro toji
summary: they find you on a date with someone they've never seen before, but they don't need to look for long to see how bored you were. deciding for you that it would be the first and only date you ever went on with that man, they come to your rescue.
warnings: afab! reader, she/her pronouns used, reader is on a date with a man, said date sucks ass (trying to regulate what y/n eats, snarky comments, egotistical, rude to hospitality workers), shoko/itadori/shiu help set you up on a date but they suck at it
↣ gojo satoru
"satoru, you have to get out," you huff at him, crossed arms over your chest. he sat on your cough, flicking through tv channels. "my date is coming here in ten minutes!"
"you mean the stranger that shoko met at the mall and said would 'totally be your type'?" he says, looking over his shoulder to you. you raise a brow. "c'mon, blow him off. we need to finish 'the last of us'!"
"don't you dare watch it while i'm gone, satoru, or god so help me—" your phone rings, interrupting your threat. you answer when you see the number of your date. "hello? oh, yes, this is y/n."
you begin to walk to grab your keys and your bag, satoru following after you when you suddenly stop.
"oh, uh... you want to meet there?" you say, tilting your head, "no, that's fine, i'll leave now. see you—..."
"he's not coming to pick you up?" satoru questions, watching as you take out your car keys.
"he's actually already there. and he's ordered for me." you say with a bit of doubt in your voice. satoru can hear it. "it's fine, i should go now. don't you dare watch that show, i will kill you. see you, satoru."
the whole time you're gone, he can’t do anything. he’s sitting in silence for an hour, not even looking at his phone. he felt angry at himself.
so he followed you, obviously.
he looked up the restaurant you had mentioned to him before and saw the pictures posted online. it looked like such a nice first date place. and that boiled even more jealousy in him. of course he had to follow you.
and luckily he did; you looked miserable.
he takes out his phone as soon as possible.
“you know how many calories are in that meal?” your date said after the waiter left your table, “way better for you than what you wanted.”
you had just told him your favourite dish in the menu. and he told you he ordered you just a salad. while he got two meals because he was ‘bulking’.
when shoko showed you his instagram, you had to admit that he was cute. he was fit too, and you did your fair share of exercise. he had a nice smile and he also posted photos of his dog. but that couldn’t shield you from what was right in front of you.
you found out he was a model for a magazine you’ve never heard of, and while that was impressive, it was his whole personality. you asked about his pet, and he somehow turned it back to his career and how he did a fireman themed calendar last year. you’d think he was surely more than that, but it didn’t seem it. you had barely talked about yourself. it didn’t look like he was interested anyway.
“hm, what did i do today?” he thought out. you cringed at the way he tapped his chin, pretending to think. “i hit the gym at 5am, walked my pet for an hour and a half, took some photos for my resume since i’ve got a new deal coming up, and spent time from then to now just at the studio.”
you were waiting for him to ask about your day. he doesn’t.
“and you know, i’m actually the most valued model at my studio. they always call me for shoots, i’m always first on their list. you’d think i could catch a break every so often,” he chuckles out, rubbing up and down his arms. you hold back from rolling your eyes as you sip your water. “but it’s hard being so… handsome.”
you stare at him and fight the urge to roll your eyes once again.
"what about you?" the moment you've waited for comes a little too late. you're not even interested in speaking about yourself.
"well, i did some grocery shopping this morning—"
"what did you buy?"
"me and my friends are having a movie tomorrow, so i just bought some snacks for us," you explained for some reason, "chocolates, popcorn, chips—"
"junk food?" he scoffs back, "no, no, you don't need all that. you oughta' bring it back and get some fruit. way better for you."
you down the rest of your alcoholic drink you had ordered (the one thing he did let you choose) and look away.
that is when you feel a hand rest on your upper back.
"excuse me, ma'am," you look up and widen your eyes when you see satoru standing before you. he's wearing a white button-up, black slacks, dress shoes and a black waist apron. you freeze up. "the gentleman over there asked me to give you this, already paid for."
you look over to where he was pointing. nanami sits in his own suit as he waves his hand at you, pained smile. satoru places a mojito in front of you. your date stands up.
"the hell? doesn't he see that i'm here?" he scoffs as he stands up. his chair screeches against the floor, which collects everyone's attention in the restaurant. "he's insulting me! what a prick! i'm gonna fuck him up!"
"hey!" you stand up as he begins trudging over. satoru places a hand on your shoulder to stop you, and you see nanami roll his eyes and stand up as well, ready for the fight. "what are you two doing here? and why are you dressed like that?"
"i'm the ultimate undercover agent, of course," he replies. he begins pulling off his apron and dropping it on your seat. he hooks his arm with yours and smiles. "let's get outta' here."
"but my date—"
"he's fine," you watch as nanami dodges one of his punches with and irritated face. "nanami will take care of him."
you let him whisk you out of the restaurant while everyone is watching the two men fight (not really). satoru walks you to his car and starts the engine. you see nanami's car behind his.
"did you seriously bring him along to get me out of that date?" you chuckle as you stare at him. satoru purses his lips and looks away. "thank you, satoru. you didn't have to."
"you're welcome, gorgeous," he responds to you, "i could tell from the phone call that he wasn't all that. wonder what barrel they fished him out of."
you let out a small sigh and look out the window. you were embarrassed; this was the first date you've ever been set up on, and it went horribly. you knew you should've left earlier, not wait until satoru came along. he was your saviour for today, you had to admit.
but what was even worse, you seemingly let than man talk to you like that. you could chalk it up to just being friendly and giving him the best benefit of the doubt, but deep down you know you would never have let that slide with people you know. hell, yaga could speak to you that way and you would still give him an earful.
"don't be sad, y/n, now we can go to yours and watch our show," satoru attempts to cheer you up. he flashes you a smile. "i promise, i won't eat all your food."
"you're a liar, satoru." you laugh back.
"seriously though, that guy was a wreck. why did he keep talking about calories and stuff?" he mumbles out with a disapproving shake of his head, "i had to shut him up somehow. i should've just spilt the drink over him."
"oh god, what about the food? i didn't pay for my meal."
"you mean the salad you didn't want? i cancelled it for ya'."
"why aren't you this nice all the time? you usually bully me." you claim in a joking matter. satoru pouts at you. "i appreciate this, a lot. i guess guys who only ever think about themselves aren't my type."
there's a quietness in the car as he turns on his indicator. you enjoy the little noise coming from the radio, a song that you've heard quite a lot.
"you know, yuuji, nobara and megumi?" he clears his throat.
"yeah?" you respond to him in confusion.
"yeah," he hums with a nod of his head, "i think 'bout them a lot. they're good kids."
"they are," you agree with him. it takes you a few seconds before you look at him again. "satoru, that's not what i meant."
"so am i your type?"
"oh my god."
"answer the question, y/n."
↣ choso
"yuuji?"
"yeah?"
"do you know who this is?" choso shoves his phone into his brother's face.
"uh, that's y/n." yuuji responds in a bit of confusion. the two of them were sitting in a new restaurant with ramen on their tables. choso’s sat nearly untouched for the past ten minutes as he flicked through some pictures you sent to a groupchat with him in it. yuuji was halfway through chewing noodles when choso asked him about the photo you sent a few minutes ago. “why? she looks good.”
“no doubt,” choso mutters in response as he zooms in on the other figure in the picture you took of your reflections in the window, “i mean him.”
“oh, that’s the guy who me, nobara and y/n saw last week at the movies,” yuuji responds, “he asked y/n for her number, so i think they’re out together right now.”
he looks at yuuji in disbelief as the pink-haired boy starts slurping on the soup. it takes him a few seconds to properly react.
“are you serious?” choso says a little loudly. people turn to stare at the pair. “you let him get her number?”
“what? he seemed cool and y/n didn’t seem to mind that i gave it to him.” yuuji holds his hands up in defense as choso angrily glares at the photos on his phone screen. “you said you weren’t gonna’ make a move on her anyway!”
“that doesn’t—” a groan leaves his lips as choso holds his head. he lets in a deep breath. “okay, it’s fine.”
“i’m sorry, choso.”
“no, it’s my fault, i did say i wasn’t going to ask her out,” he tells yuuji, who slowly goes back to eating, “i… i missed out, i guess.”
yuuji frowns as the guy in front of him sadly eats his food.
“you know…” he begins with a small smile. choso looks up to him. “they’re just out for lunch nearby. y/n told me where they were going. we could—”
“yuuji! hurry up!” choso has grabbed his jacket and is rushing to the door before yuuji can reply, “we might miss them!”
yuuji scurries out of restaurant after he gobbles down his ramen. it isn’t too far of a drive, actually. it took about 15 minutes to get there and choso had easily spotted your car in front of a cozy cafe. he parks next to it and almost ducks when be notices you in the chair facing the window, facing the two of them, with your date sitting in the booth — your favourite spot. choso always let you sit in the booth side.
choso clutched onto the steering wheel with gritted teeth. yuuji looked towards you to get a better view.
“huh… she looks annoyed.” yuuji points out.
“this guy…” choso grunts.
inside the cafe, you had taken a few photos of your food and your drink. you’re glad yuuji suggested this place, you loved the service and the food here. the servers were always so nice and helpful and quick, and the food was amazing too.
it was obvious to you that your date didn’t think the same.
“god, everything in here is so…” he begins as he examines the design on his waffles. he cringes a little. “girly.”
“it’s just a bunny design,” you point out as you sadly stir the cat-shaped foam into your hot drink, “it’s cute.”
“it’s embarrassing,” he reiterates. you purse your lips and sip your drink. the delicious taste was enough to make you forget his sour tone. until he speaks up again. “can’t believe your friend told us to go here.”
“i love this cafe,” you state, “everyone here is so nice.”
“the service is slow and they gave me the blueberry waffles instead of the normal ones like i said,” he complains. you set your drink down and hold back from rolling your eyes. “i don’t care how busy you are, you always check five times that the order is correct.”
you don’t even reply to him after that, only trying to enjoy your meal that you paid for. he wasn't helping at all. you thought that because he was so charismatic when talking to yuuji that he was probably a good catch, but you couldn't have been more wrong. maybe he was just putting up a front in order to score you. you really shouldn't judge a book by its cover anymore.
"hey. over here," he begins to snap his fingers and nodding at a server with four full plates of food. the guy looks over frantically, obviously under pressure. "i wanna' ask you something."
"ah, right, give me a second, sir—" the guy was trying to distribute the food with the customers who he was serving.
"i told you, slow service," your date scowls towards you. could you be any more embarrassed right now? the server finishes off his task before coming over to you two. before he can even ask, your date is holding up a nearly empty cup of coffee. "this is the most bitter coffee i have ever had in my whole entire life."
"oh, well, you ordered an americano, sir," the poor server explains, "they tend to be bitter."
"what? no, no, no," the guy in the booth starts shaking his head, "i ordered a flat white."
"you..." the server begins. he was the one who had taken your order too.
"you ordered the americano, actually," you pointed out. the guy raised a brow at you, unamused. "it's okay, you can just order a flat white—"
"god, i did not order an americano." he claims.
but you distinctly remember him saying 'americano' for his drink. and the server repeated the order back to him before it was confirmed annoyedly. you stare down at his nearly empty cup.
"y'know what? just put the flat white on the tab, i will pay for it." you sigh out as you rub your neck.
your date looks more pissed off as the server leaves.
"he was wrong, you don't have to pay for another drink." he mutters out.
"it's nothing, don't worry." you retort and stare back down at your food. you didn't have an appetite anymore and a few minutes pass in silence.
the flat white comes out after such a long time of waiting. your date drinks it quietly, but you notice that he makes a face to show he doesn't like it. you quickly excuse yourself to go and pay at the counter for your food (he insisted on splitting the bill since he didn't like the place) so that you don't have to hear him bicker about it.
"hey," you turn behind you to see choso standing there in a baggy hoodie, a bit nervous, "fancy seeing you here..."
your eyes flicker to outside, where you see yuuji waving at you from choso's car. a smile lands on your face.
"nice to see you, choso," you mutter back as you fish out your wallet. the cashier rings up your total and you press your card to the reader. "how was your lunch with yuuji?"
"good. we cut it short to save you," he bluntly says. you blink as he glares at your date. "i don't like the guy you're with."
"me neither," you sigh out, "i think this is the last time i'll see him. but i gotta' tough it out for the rest of the date."
"you could just leave now." choso adds. he looks at you with furrowed brows.
"ah... i'm not that confident—"
"a takeaway box and takeaway cup, please," choso asks the cashier. she had been sitting there and silently agreeing with you that the guy you were sitting with was a total jerk. "thank you."
he places them in your hands and pushes you gently towards the table.
"who the hell is this guy?" your date scoffs and glares at choso, who does the same back.
"look, i'm not really having a good time on this date," you say as you play with the takeaway boxes. choso hastily takes them from you and fills it with your food in an organised matter. "i think this is the farthest we go. please enjoy the rest of your food, though."
"you serious? ditching me for some jackass?" he accusingly points at choso who wears a shit-eating grin on his face. "this is bullshit!"
"calm down, god..." you groan and rub your temple, "i just don't like you, you're so rude."
"me? you're the one who dragged me to this shithole!"
"shut your mouth before i drop you right now," choso scowls as he pushes the guy back into the booth seat. everyone was watching now, quietly thanking choso for showing up and dealing with him. "grow up, man. you act like a child."
choso grabs your hand and tugs you out of the cafe. you both thank the service with your takeaway in hand. yuuji gets out of the car with a wide smile once you two get closer.
"so, how did it go?" he asks with wide eyes.
you throw your keys at his chest.
"you're driving my car back to my apartment as punishment for setting me up with that asshole," you say with a small frown. you all knew you didn't really blame him, though. "never giving my number out to anyone ever again."
yuuji apologises thoroughly before getting into your car and driving off in the wrong direction. choso opens your door and gives you the food. once he's inside the car himself, he starts it up and begins driving.
you rest a hand over choso's on the middle console.
"thanks, choso," you sigh out, "i should've done that earlier."
"it's fine, y/n, i just wished i came sooner." he replies.
you stare at the side of his face, how irritated he looked just thinking about your date. a smile settles onto your lips and you brush your thumb over his knuckles. he falters and looks back to you for a second before muttering a 'what'.
"i'll take you out for dinner as a thank you," you state, which makes his ears go red, "you're a sweetheart, choso."
"i... uh, yeah, i'll go out with you," he mutters, "thanks..."
the laugh you let out is worth ruining thousands of your dates.
↣ fushiguro toji
"have you ever been to france?" the conceited finance guy in front of you asks, fixing his tie. he wears this smirk on his face that proves that he just knows how rich he was. he wasn't coy at all. you force a smile and shake your head slowly, trying to enjoy your meal at least. "really? that's a shame. i've been plenty of times before, and i've gotta say, the best part is..."
you begin to zone out, sighing to yourself as you move your pasta around on your plate haphazardly. he had chosen such a nice italian restaurant to absolutely ruin your perception of this guy after the first ten minutes of talking to him. you look to your watch, showing it had been only two hours since your date started.
cursing out shiu in your head, you cautiously look out the window to the sky. it wasn't that dark yet, but it felt like your night had been taken away. your mind wanders to yesterday to your conversation with shiu.

why would i want to be on a yacht for our first date? is he nice?
shoe
he's rich, y/n. that's all that matters.
sometimes, you wonder how he managed to meet all these people. but then you remember that assholes attract assholes. they move together in flocks.
you stare at your red wine and tap your finger on your cheek.
"what do you think about it?" he questions, getting your attention again. you look up to see his smug face. did he really want to know?
"oh, me?" you asks, sitting up straight. you had no idea what he had been saying for the past 15 minutes.
"well, who else would i be talking to, silly?" he says in this mocking tone.
'yourself, it's who you've been talking to all night', you internally say. you had wasted such a nice outfit too. it was such a shame.
"mmm, well, it's a bit—" you begin, only to get interrupted.
"it's insane, isn't it? how could you lose so much money in only a year?" he barks out a laugh, as obnoxious as he was. the table shakes as he bangs his fist against it, waiters and guests looking towards you two. "it's absolutely preposterous! i would never make such a decision like that."
you chew out an awkward laugh before turning to your wine, sipping it.
unknowingly to you, toji was waiting in the car outside the building, getting a good view of you and your new date. he cursed shiu in a huff; not only did he set you up with someone, but the guy was a total prick. he couldn't have done a worse job, and he was broke. he pulled his seat back, watching him with pointed eyes. that guy's mouth hadn't stopped moving ever since you entered the restaurant.
and you? you looked gorgeous, your dress hugged you just right, so much so that he was jealous. toji knows it should've been him to go and take you somewhere like this.
he snaps when the guy calls the waiter over, complaining about his half-eaten food and causing a scene. you looked so uncomfortable. standing up, you excused yourself to the bathroom. and toji is quick to get out of the car.
"he's such an asshole." toji claims as you exit the ladies room. you freeze, pressing out the creases of your dress before walking closer to him at the end of the hall.
"when did you get here?" you ask, hand on your hip, "and how do you know he's an asshole?"
"been watchin' the whole time from the car," he tells you, watching as you widen your eyes and tilt your head at him, "what? couldn't help myself. shiu said you were on a date with some rich guy, 'n i had to see it."
"yeah, well, remind me to kill shiu. he's got the worst taste in men." you sigh out, crossing your arms as you lean against the wall with him. he peers at you. "you know he asked to try every single wine they had before we ordered? and he complained about the merlot not being darker. not only that, he saw my plate and said 'are you gonna' eat all of that?'. the dickhead!"
"that shit looked good." he commented, shaking his head, "who wouldn't finish that food."
"right? ugh, i hate him so much. and he hasn't even asked me about myself other than my name. he explained to me his 'entrepreneurship' and dropshipping. wanted to clock him in the face." you complained more, only fueling toji's own hate for the man.
he lifts himself off the wall, grabbing your arm and dragging you with him. "go 'n get your things. we're gettin' out of here."
"what? what am i supposed to say to him?" you mumble, stumbling behind him, "where are we going?"
"don't say anything to him. if ya' feel bad, pay for your own food." he explains to you, hand moving to rest on your back, "i'm not lettin' you waste that pretty little dress on someone like that guy."
you stare at the back of his head before falling into step with him, stopping at the table with your date. he does a double take once he sees toji, slowly standing up.
"who's he?" he asks, scanning him up and down.
"none of your business." toji retorts, looking down at him.
you begin to grab your purse when he holds out his hand to you. "where the hell are you going?" your date asks you.
"here. for my food." you say, handing him a fifty. the note flutters onto the table in front of him, which he stares at in awe. tugging on your jacket, you stare back at him with furrowed brows. "good luck in life."
with that, you turn around and begin to walk to the exit. behind you, toji sticks his tongue out at the other man and follows after. his hand finds your back once more and you wait to cross the road, sighing out to him, "thank you, toji. saved me."
"no problem." he replies, opening the door for you.
"how did you get in my car?" you ask, sitting in the driver's seat.
"don't ask." he tosses you the keys, making you wonder even more. he gets into the other side, looking back at you. “we’ll hit up that restaurant downtown. the one you always talk about wanting to go to.”
“but you said you don’t like their cuisine.” you claim, starting the car.
“it’s the only place i know that’s fancy.” he explains, looking out the window.
“sweetheart, i wouldn’t say that’s fancy—”
“do you want to go out or not?”
you laugh, reaching out a hand and holding his. he gives a small smile before looking back at you. “thank you, toji.” you say, stopping at a red light. you glance at him, sincere look in your eyes. “it means a lot that you care.”
“jus’ saving you from being stupid as fuck.” he tells you, making you roll your eyes and snatch your hand back, “could ya’ not tell he was a tool when he didn’t knock at your door? motherfucker waited in his car.”
“my god, you’ve been watching since then? toji!” you jokingly reprimand, looking at him for a split second, "i should've known from the start though... he was on his phone the whole time, in the car ride. on bluetooth speaker too."
"i woulda' jumped out the car." he retorts, shaking his head, "we should jump shiu."
"we really should." you laugh, smiling at him, "maybe for our next date."
toji can't help but roll his eyes. he knows deep down that you were hoping shiu was going to set you up with him instead. he can see it on your face, a smile that is pushing through on your lips. you're secretly happy that it was toji who 'ruined' your 'date'.
"i say that because i know you can't pay for dinner."
"did you think i was paying for this one?"
you scoff back, elbowing him, "you leech."
"you know you love me." he says it teasingly, but he knows better than anyone that you actually do.

Second chance spark | cl16
Summary: where Charles thinks you're a nepo baby just because of your last name. Warnings: a little angst, horner!reader, christian being an asshole and fluffy fluff.
a/n: let me know if you want a part two!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The paddock of the Spanish Grand Prix is in big move, thousands of people moving from one place to another and there you find yourself, outside of the Red Bull hospitality talking to several of the girls on the team. This is what your life has become, practically, since being the daughter of Christian Horner you can walk around the hospitality and the paddock as many times as you like during the year.
Most people believe that you only walk around the paddock because it is a case of "nepotism", but in reality you are working very hard to be an engineer and earn a place in motorsport and that's why you find yourself doing internships at Red Bull. Also, your relationship with your father is not the best, so it is always a constant argument, but, even if you try not to give it so much importance, it always hurts.
“Oh god girls, look who's coming!” You say excitedly, Charles was walking through the paddock, to you he always looked like an angel, you blush slightly.
Mara, one of the Red Bull pr girls spoke. “Leclerc? Are you trying to charm the competition's sponsors I see.” she jokes and you blush a little.
You rolled your eyes. “Don't be ridiculous, he probably doesn't even know I'm here.” You say and a silence is present between the three of you. “I'm going to say hi.” You say determined.
Lila rise up an eyebrow. “Careful y/n. You don't want to spook the red prince.”
“Oh, please. Like he'd give me the time of the day.” you scoff.
You excuse yourself and stride confidently towards Charles. He notices your approach and his expression becomes guarded.
You've liked Charles since he debuted in the F4 European series, you always thought he was someone quite nice and talented... Besides of being cute, of course, but nothing ever happened between you, you were simply acquaintances. But now since you are always in the paddock you see him every single day and those feelings that you thought were already buried, were reborn with much more strength.
“Hello y/n. Didn't expect to see you here!” he smiles shyly.
“Well, I just came to say hi, a little greeting doesn't go amiss, don't you think?” you say shyly with a soft voice. “Are you nervous about the race?” you asked shyly.
“Yeah, uh, a little bit... But let's see how it goes.” he says trying to avoid your gaze.
“Well, you have a good shot, maybe you can achieve a podium finish.” You say and he looks at you surprised.
“You actually follow the races?” he asks.
You feign offense. “Of course I do, I'm trying to be an engineer! I may not be out there on the track like you and the boys, but I appreciate a good driver when I see one.” you smile brightly.
Charles looks at you for a long moment, a hint of a smile playing on his lips.
“Just make sure you're cheering for the right team on race day in the future.” he says teasingly.
“We'll see about that, Leclerc.” you two share a comfortable silence for a moment. You take a deep breath. “Well, I'll leave you alone, I have to go. But good luck in the race, yeah?” You say with a small smile.
“Sure, see you later! And thanks!” he smiles too.
You smiled back and turned to leave, a triumphant glint in your eyes. Charles watches you go, a genuine smile gracing his features. His heart is probably beginning to soften to let you into it.
***
“Is seriously? You talked to him and he didn't think you were a little innocent girl?” Christian said sitting in his chair in the office.
You were at the Red Bull factory in Milton Keynes, you had gone to see some engineers and work with them since you are doing your engineer internship at Red Bull and they have been very generous to you, teaching you everything they know, what you didn't realize was that your father was going to need you to have a talk. Such talks never end well, let's put it that way.
“Well, no... But I think he was being nice.” you say quietly. “I just wanted to wish him good luck, that's all... Just a little greeting... it's not a big deal.”
“You know? It's amazing that you're so stupid and dumb.” He says getting up from his chair. “And also by talking to the enemy, you don't really learn, don't you?” he asked sharply.
He never misses the opportunity to speak badly about you on any occasion, he simply doesn't care about your feelings, he is only interested in the job, winning and that's it. As if that were more important than your well-being as his daughter.
You take a deep breath. “Then let me finish my internship in another team.” you said and he looked at you. “I think it would be better for both you and me. Don't you think?” you said in a whisper.
“What? You really want to finish your silly and stupid internship at Ferrari, right? To be after a man who doesn't give you attention, is it serious?” he says sarcastically, that wasn't your idea but since he puts it on the table it doesn't sound too bad... “How ungrateful you are, to waste the fact that I gave you the opportunity to do the internship here.”
“And it was the only thing you did.” you murmured. “Because, as far as I remember, you haven't done anything else.”
“What did you say, huh? You little bitch.” He said, raising his voice towards you.
“What you fucking heard! Do you think it's not difficult to be under your shadow every day? How tiring it is to have everyone tell you that you are a child of nepotism just because all you did was get me the internship here! And you know that I had to sacrifice many things to get here.” you said in screams, taking everything out of you, all the years of abuse and so on. “And don't come pretending to be a saint because we both know you're not.”
You leave his office and everyone looks at you, but you don't care, you couldn't allow your father to call you names and spoke to you in a not very nice way. Your tears blur your vision as you leave the factory and you run to your car, you feel as if you no longer have a weight on your shoulders, but at the same time you are afraid of what may happen later between the two of you.
***
A couple of weeks later, the Austrian Grand Prix is a blur of disappointment, specially for Charles, since he finished a distant third, strategy blunders costing him a shot at the win against Max. The Red Bull Hospitality is abuzz with post-race celebration, a stark contrast to the muted atmosphere in the Ferrari hospitality across the way.
You stand awkwardly near the doorway, your presence a silent question in the room. Charles sits alone, staring into the bottom of an empty beer glass, his face an iron mask of frustration. A knot of worry tightens in your stomach, that's not the Charles you know, always so cheerful and lively despite everything. It's another version of him, darker and more mysterious.
“Charles?” you asked softly.
He looks up, surprise flickering across his features before hardening back into a grimace.
“What are you doing here?” he said sharply.
“I...I just wanted to see if you were alright.” You say shyly.
His harsh tone stings, cutting through the fragile connection the two of you would built.
“Look y/n, I appreciate the concern, but I need to be alone.” he said sharply.
“But-” hurt creeps into your voice.
He interrupts with his voice rising. “No buts! Don't you get it? This is my job, my life! And today, I failed.”
Tears are pricking at your eyes. “I know it hurts, Charles, but you can't let it consume you.”
He stands abruptly, knocking his chair over with a clatter. “Easy for you to say! You don't have the pressure, the expectations hanging over your head like a damn guillotine! You have everything on a silver platter whenever and however you want!” he say furiously.
His words are a punch to the gut. The simmering tension between you and your father explodes in your mind.
“You think I don't know the pressure? Do you have any idea what it's like living under my father's shadow? To be constantly judged, to have every decision questioned?” you say with a shaking voice.
Charles stares at you, his anger momentarily eclipsed by surprise.
“I may not be a driver, but I understand this world, Charles... I understand the pressure.” You say as tears form in your eyes.
Your vulnerability hangs heavy in the air. Shame washes over Charles, realizing the depth of his lashing out.
“Y/n, I...” he said with a soft voice.
He reaches out, but you flinches back, a wall of hurt suddenly separating the both of you.
You take a shaky breath. “I think I should go.” you sigh tiredly. “Nice talk.”
You turn towards the door, your heart heavy with a mixture of disappointment and a newfound understanding of the burdens that the both of you share. You run out there with tears running down your cheeks, nothing could have been worse after what happened with your father, but now you lost a person you cared about despite everything.
***
The Italian Grand Prix is in full swing after the summer break. Mechanics scurry around the gleaming red Ferrari, the air thick with pre-race tension. Charles, however, finds himself distracted. He steals constant glances towards the Red Bull garage across the pit lane, searching for a familiar face.
He spots you, standing by Christian, your interaction is tense, your father screams at you while you just only nod at his words while holding a few tears in your shy eyes. A pang of fury shoots through Charles, followed by a wave of regret. His outburst in Austria hangs heavy in the air, a barrier he needs to break. He, despite everything, is moderately informed about what happened between you and your father thanks to Max, and it hurts him not to have approached you much sooner.
The pit lane opens to finally start the grand prix, snapping Charles back to reality. He throws on his helmet, a steely resolve replacing his earlier anxiety.
***
Charles finishes a strong second, the podium it's a little bit bittersweet. He emerges from the car, the cheers of the tifosi a distant echo. All he can think about is you.
He finds you in the Red Bull hospitality, a hesitant knock on the door of your office, announcing his arrival. The room falls silent as he enters.
You stand by the window, your back towards him. Your posture is stiff, but Charles can sense the tremor in your shoulders.
“Y/n?” he say quietly.
You turn slowly, your eyes guarded. The hurt in your gaze is a mirror to his own regret.
“Charles...” you say softly.
There's an awkward silence, the air thick with unspoken words. Charles takes a deep breath.
“I can't apologize enough for Austria. I... I was a complete idiot.” he says.
“Words don't erase the hurt, Charles.” you say in a low voice.
He takes a step closer. “I know. But I wanted you to know... these past few weeks, all I could think about was your words. About the pressure, about being judged... You opened my eyes to a side of you I never knew existed.” He reaches out, hesitantly offering his hand. “And in doing so, I realized... how much I care about you.”
You stare at his hand, then back at his face. A flicker of vulnerability crosses your features before you speak.
“You can't just say things like that, Charles. Not after everything.”
“I know, but I have to try. Because the alternative... the alternative is losing you completely.” says sincerely. He sees a flicker of emotion in your eyes, a flicker that speaks of hope.
“This won't be easy, Charles. My father... Things haven't been so smooth lately between him and I.”
“I know. But maybe, just maybe, we can face it together... Like you said, we both understand this world, the pressure. Maybe we can be each other's support system, not just through wins and losses, but through everything else.” he say softly.
A small smile tugs at the corner of your lips. You look at him, a question in your eyes.
“So, what are you saying?” you asked him.
Charles takes a chance, the weight of his feelings pulling him forward. He steps closer, your faces inches apart.
“I'm saying that... give me another chance, please. A chance to prove that I can be the man you deserve.” he whispers. “Please, if you want, I beg you on my knees... I'll do anything, but please give me a chance.”
The air crackles with unspoken emotions. You lean in, closing the distance between the both of you. At first, the kiss is hesitant and at the same time soft and slow, then deepens, a promise unspoken but understood.
Pulling away, Charles searches your soft eyes.
“Is that a yes?” he smiled while blushing.
You smile softly, a genuine smile that reaches your eyes.
“Maybe... How about we can do something casual between us, not business related, just to get to know each other better?” you say shyly.
A grin spreads across Charles' face, relief washing over him like a victory lap. “It's a deal darling.” you giggled.
He leans in for another kiss, the roar of the engines and the crowd outside a distant echo of the race that's just begun – the race for your hearts.
***
The air crackles with a different kind of tension now. You and Charles break apart from your long awaited kiss, foreheads resting against each other. Relief, hope, and a spark of defiance dance in your eyes.
“We should probably get going before someone sees us, don't you think?” you whisper shyly.
Charles nods, a playful smile tugging at his lips. He reaches for the door, ready to usher you out, but it swings open before he can touch it.
Standing in the doorway is Christian, his face a thundercloud. The celebratory atmosphere in the room evaporates, replaced with a chilling silence.
“Y/n! My office. Now.” he says with a strong and demanding voice.
You flinch, your body tensing and shaking at your father's tone, but Charles steps forward, his stance protective.
“Actually, she's not going anywhere Horner.” Charles says calmly.
Christian's gaze snaps to him, fury replacing the icy anger. “And who are you to tell me what to do in my own hospitality suite, Leclerc?” he scoffs.
“Someone who cares about her, a concept you seem to have forgotten.” Charles says with a hard and firm voice.
The room collectively gasps. You reaches out a hand to touch Charles' arm, a silent plea for caution. But Charles shakes you off gently, his green eyes boring into Christian's.
“You judge her, belittle her, just because of your own insecurities. You push her away with every harsh word and raised eyebrow.” Charles says defending you, maybe you and him weren't that close, but probably Max told him about what happened between you and Christian.
Christian lunges forward, his hand raised in a threatening gesture. But Charles doesn't back down, he catches Christian's wrist mid-air, his grip surprisingly strong.
“Don't. Even. Think. About. Touching. Her.” Charles says in a low, dangerous voice. “And if you do, you'll deal with me, is that clear?”
Christian throws Charles a withering look before turning and storming out of the room. The silence that follows is deafening. No one had ever spoken to your father that way, not even Max or Jos, but the fact that Charles was the first to do it was something... Shocking, especially for you.
You let out a shaky breath, your gaze flickering between the slammed door and Charles. “I... Charles.” you say in a shaky whisper.
He whispers back. “Don't apologize, you did nothing wrong sweetie.” he takes your hand in his. “He's such a jerk.” He pulls you towards the door, a newfound determination in his eyes. “We're leaving, now. We can deal with your father later, together, okay?” he says.
You hesitate for a moment, then you nodded in agreement, as you walk out of the Red Bull hospitality, heads turn and whispers follow. But you don't care anymore, you have each other, and that's all that matters.
You two step out into the cool evening air, the roar of the Italian crowd a distant hum. Your hands are intertwined, a silent promise against the warm setting sun.
You two may have a long road ahead, filled with challenges and disapproval, but you'll face it together, a united front against the storm.
“Thank you... For what you did in there.” You say softly, he smiles and brings your hand to his lips to place a kiss on the back of your hand.
“It's nothing ma belle, I know I may not know the whole story since the begging, but I'm willing to help you.” he says the same in a whisper.
“I just want to know... Who told you about it?” you asked softly.
“Max told me.” He says and you laugh.
“I thought so! It doesn't bother me that he did it anyway.” you say and let out a giggle while you shake your head. “I think it's something you deserved to know.”
He smiles at you tenderly. “How about we forget this mess with your father with a good pizza, huh?” he says softly.
“And where would we go?” you shyly asked him.
“We can go to my hotel room... Unless you don't want to, I know it would be awkward but... I don't know, ugh.” He said and started babbling, you smiled seeing him like that, it seemed like the cutest thing of all, seeing him nervous about doing something simple with you.
You smiled and placed a soft kiss on his jaw. “I would love to eat pizza with you in your hotel room Charlie.” you say softly. “So it's a date?”
“It's a date.” He says softly as he kisses the tip of your nose and you giggle. “A date between Ferrari's golden boy and the red bull girl.” he says in a whisper while letting out a giggle.
You smiled tenderly. “You couldn't have said it better.” You whispered back.
To think that a couple of months ago you had not imagined that situation, to see Charles against your father and defending you like a true gentleman, but here you two were. Maybe at the beginning not everything was rosy or he simply didn't tolerate you at all due to false "nepotism" status around you, but you both understand how difficult and complicated this world is, maybe with different perspectives, but you two are there to support each other in the ups and downs.

Wrapping Wounds
1k celebration request
Tumblr media
Pairing: Bodyguard!Azriel x Princess!Reader
Summary: Azriel gets hurt and reader feels guilty, so she visits his bedroom and doesn’t plan on leaving until he’s healed.
Warnings: mention of attempted kidnapping (it’s all fluff though)
1.8k words
Tumblr media
My bodyguard was injured. Which is a surprisingly unusual occurrence. Azriel never got hurt, so it was a shock when I opened my bedroom door this morning only to find the grand hallway vacant, void of any brooding male guarding anyone from entering my bedroom. He was always there to greet me with a slight nod of his head, his shadows bringing me a cup of coffee before I could even mutter a word.
Instead, this morning I was met with an entirely different face, one I recognized but hadn't been expecting.
"Where's Azriel?" Is the first thing I say to Cassian, an equally intimidating male.
"He's injured at the moment, I'll be guarding you today." Cassian's words were dutiful and I can't help but frown. I loved Cass, sure, but I couldn't help but wonder why Azriel was hurt.
"So he's in the medical tents still healing?" I ask, stepping from my bedroom and closing the door behind me.
"I believe he's in his bedroom, but you're not allowed—" He starts but he doesn't get to finish before I winnow out of his sight and straight into Azriel's bedroom.
It was wrong to use my abilities against Cassian who was incapable of winnowing but it wasn't as if I was breaking any rules, just visiting an injured friend.
Azriel was sitting on his bed, currently rewrapping a wound on his abdomen.
"You can't be in here," Azriel stated without even taking a glance up at me, yet he still knew. I had to hold back from rolling my eyes at his absurd comment.
"I've been in a male's bedroom before," I scoff but he and I both knew that wasn't what he was talking about. We had been toeing the line of unspoken feelings for far too long now, mere inches away from being more than just professionals but he refused to cross that line and didn't want to drag me with him either.
I gather my skirts in my hands and close the distance between us, crouching down beside him and taking over his job of dressing his own wound, replacing his calloused, scarred hands with my manicured, delicate ones.
"You're not paid enough to get stabbed on my behalf," I grumble beneath my breath, my hair falling into my face as I focus on keeping pressure on the wound.
"Is everything about money to you, princess?" He teased and I just huffed, flicking my gaze up at him in a glare. He mirrors it with a quirk of his lip.
"Nevertheless, I'm making my brother give you a raise," I claim, looking back down to the gauze in my hands, deciding to look into his hazel eyes was too much to bear if I could not have them on me at all times. "Tell me what happened," I say, my words coming out more demanding than I anticipated but I was frustrated with myself for falling so damned hard for someone who was simply paid to be around me.
"So demanding," He grumbles, craning his neck to the side as if he needed to stretch, already tired from this conversation. "All you need to know is that some guys were trying to, take you last night," He gritted out like it was hard for him to stomach, but I brushed it off as the pain from his wound. "And I wasn't going to let them," He finished and I frowned, keeping my eyes pinned to the wrap in my hands as I tightly secured it with a clasp.
"It doesn't hurt too much, does it?" I say, looking up at him. He reaches towards me, his large calloused hand coming to my jaw and then pushing a lock of my hair away from my face.
"It's sweet that you're worried about me, but I’m kind of paid to be your bodyguard." He looks down at me with a stoic expression, a hint of devotion wandering behind his gaze.
“You don’t have to remind me,” I mumble, looking away from his gaze and down to his wound, the one that’s my fault. "If I was there, I would've offered myself rather than see you get hurt," I confess and his brows form a line, an angry frown pulling at his lips.
"Don't say that," He uttered. "No one will ever deserve you, no matter how good of a fight they put up." He claims and a comforting warmth blooms in the depths of my chest. I swallow, rising fully but still having to look up at him.
"I think you put up a pretty good fight," I shrug suggestively and he shakes his head.
"I'm protecting you because it's my job, it's just business princess." He claims and I roll my eyes and sling my arms over his shoulders, which he doesn't back away from.
"Nuh-uh, admit it, you like me," I taunt with a smile spreading over my lips, able to read him like an open book as the corner of his lip twitches downward, a clear indicator that he was debating if he should say something he knew he’d later regret.
"You're technically not working right now, we wouldn't be breaking any rules," I add and he only gazes down at me with a faux pitiful look in his eyes, like a rich man too selfish to donate to my charity.
"I don't think that's how it works." He blinks ever so slowly, taking all of this moment in.
"Az," I huff, walking my fingers down his bare chest.
"Princess," He mocks my tone, catching my wrist in his hand before it could get too low. "Cassian will be in here any second," He gestures for me to step backward with a jerk of his head. I wrap my hands around the back of his neck instead, rebelling his commands and doing the exact opposite. But he didn't push me away, and he didn't complain when I slowly situated myself over his lap.
"Please," I utter, begging was foreign to me but I'd do it if it meant he'd finally just let me love him.
"Please, what?" He plays dumb and this time I do actually roll my eyes, one of my hands going into his hair.
"Please, can you just stop being my bodyguard for five seconds and be my boyfriend?" I mumble and a smile pulls at the corner of his lips.
"It's kind of a package deal," He shrugs, his eyes glinting with amusement, silently laughing at my frustration.
"My gods, just kiss me already," I sigh and a rare grin grows over his features, revealing dimples.
"Always, so demanding," He muttered while leaning in, cupping my jaw in his large hand and pulling me into him.
Our lips connect like the last two pieces of a puzzle I've been working on for years, slotting together perfectly. His other hand was slipping up the slit in my pastel dress, resting at my upper thigh, gripping it occasionally and I can't help but smile at his lips at the action.
He slips his tongue into my mouth at the first opportunity he gets, craving to taste me further than just my lips. I wrap my arms tighter around the back of my neck, attempting to press myself as close as possible, needing the proximity of his warmth more than anything else.
He winced, biting slightly at my bottom lip in silent warning and I realized I pressed against his wound.
"Sorry," I murmur as he moves away from my lips and towards my jaw, kissing a trail down it all the way to my neck.
"We should probably stop," Azriel murmured as if he wasn't the one sucking hickeys to my neck and holding me down with his hand on my thigh.
"Probably," I say, slightly breathless as I recover from the pain of him pulling away from my lips. "I don't want to go," I sigh. "I'm safe in here with you, I don't need any other bodyguard," I explain and he smiles against my neck at my words, kissing the area softly.
A knock on the door makes me jump but he barely flinched, pulling away from my neck and looking at where he had been sucking, admiring the forming mark like an artist staring at their canvas.
"I have an idea, hide behind the door." He gestures to the door and I nod with a cheeky grin, scrambling off his lap and to where he told me to go.
"Az, you in there?" Cassian's voice was heard through the door.
Instead of replying, Azriel simply swung the door open with a tired smile. From my position, I could still see Azriel, but I was out of Cassian's line of sight— unless, of course, he decided to enter the room.
"Is the Princess in here?" I can hear the slight panic in Cassian's voice but Azriel doesn't falter when he replies.
"You already lost her?" The male scoffed, slightly amused.
"It's not my fault, she saw I wasn't you and winnowed away. I figured she'd be with you." I couldn't see the male but I knew his brows were bunched. I sort of felt bad for the male, I debated telling him I was going to stay with Azriel for the rest of the day so he should go far away unless he wanted to hear some things he shouldn't, but I didn't, I let Azriel handle it.
"Calm down, she's probably at the library. This castle is crawling with guards, she's safe here," Azriel reassured and Cassian must've nodded because there was no reply.
"I'm going back to bed, no more interruptions I'm trying to heal," Azriel shooed him away.
"Right, thanks Az," Cassian murmurs then a heavy pair of footsteps recede down the hall and Azriel closes the door, turning to me.
"Having affairs with your protectee and lying to your colleagues, how many rules are you going to break today?" I tease, lifting onto the tips of my toes and twining my arms around the back of his neck.
"I can always ask him to come back," He retorts and I frown, pecking his lips so quickly he barely had time to return the action.
"You wouldn't dare give me up so easily," I claim confidently, my fingers twining into his hair. "You like me too much."
"Way too much." He leans closer, his nose brushing mine. He looks at me for a moment, admiring my features from such a short distance, but as soon as his eyes flick down to my lips he can't help but lean in, our lips pressing together and somehow he made it feel like we've been doing this for decades it was all so natural.
"I'm staying in here all day, I hope you know that," I mumble and he pulls away a fraction to meet my gaze.
"But how will I ever get my rest to heal?" He sighs dramatically and I chuckle.
"I'll tell you what, you can sleep as long as you want, you just have to cuddle with me," I offer, and a soft grin forms on his lips.
"Sounds perfect to me." He closes the distance between us once more.

Accidental pt. 2
What happens when you accidentally kidnap the exact man you were looking for?
Tumblr media
pairing: mob!bucky x reader
warning(s): canon level violence, kidnapping, profanity
a/n: the comments on the last pt. were so affirming, omg. thanks, guys. anyway, here's a second part. ig the same idea stands: if this does well, maybe i'll do a pt. 3?
part 1
»»———-———-———-———-———-———-———-««
"You're looking for a man by the name of Barnes, James Barnes. He's the owner of the bar you took me from, and he's the head of the Barnes Family. He'll have the answers you're looking for."
"Where can I find him?"
The man grins, a dashing smile.
“I’m right here, Doll.”
Somehow, against your instincts, you manage not to take a step back. You keep your feet planted in front of the man, eye twitching a little, jaw clenching.
“You’re James Barnes?” You say, voice devoid of any real emotion.
“Disappointed? Looking for someone less handsome?” He shoots you a cheeky grin.
You scoff. “More like I wasn’t expecting to kidnap a mob boss.”
James laughs, a genuine laugh. “No, I bet you weren’t. However, I do have to say, I’m impressed. Not just anyone can take me by surprise.”
“How long?” You ask, ignoring his praise.
“What?” He raises an eyebrow.
“How long until your men come looking for you? I expected more time, but with you being in charge…” You trail off.
“Ah, yes.” He glances down at the very expensive watch on his wrist. “Well, if it’s 11 now, I’d say… ah. 7 hours before anyone notices.”
You raise an eyebrow. “That long? Really? Are you sure you’re important?”
He grins at you, a dashing grin. You shake your head slightly. You shouldn’t be thinking about his smile right now--you shouldn't be teasing him.
“Very. But my people know not to bother me at night. What I do on my own time is my business. You’re in the clear as long as I show up on time to my meeting. If I’m not there... Well, then people begin to worry.”
You let out an involuntary laugh. “In the clear? You're telling me I’m going to get away with kidnapping you? Actually, don't answer that. You're baiting me, and distracting me. I need answers. Back to my sister. Where is she?"
"I was wondering if you'd forgotten about that."
"Answer the question," you say, stepping forward and putting your knife back up against his throat. It seems to do the trick.
James' face grows serious, as if the man in front of you was no longer playing around with you and had switched into his regular business persona.
"She's alive."
You let out a relieved breath. Alive is something. Alive is good.
"Where are you keeping her?"
"Well, doll, I can't just tell you that."
"Sure you can," you say, repeating your words from earlier.
He smirks, "Why don't you just take the knife away from my throat first? I'm precious goods."
You roll your eyes at him, but you pull the knife away. You hold the knife up to him as if to say I will pull this out again and set it down on the table a few feet away, and as you turn around, you pull a chair from the same table up to James, placing it right in front of him. You sit, an expectant look upon your face.
"Look, doll, why don't you just go ahead and untie me now that you've put that knife away, and we can have a friendly talk about this?" He asks.
You scoff, yet again. This man, you think, is insufferable.
"Try again, pretty boy."
"So you think I'm pretty?" He smirks.
"I think you're annoying, and I think you know where my sister is. So, how about you stop wasting my time and tell me what I want to know?"
He sighs dramatically and lets his head roll to the side as if he's bored before lifting it to look you directly in the eye.
"Like I said before, she owed me something she couldn't repay."
"What's that?"
"That information's gonna cost you, sweetheart."
"You're in no position to be negotiating right now," you say indignantly.
"Sure I am. Don't forget I'm the most powerful man in Brooklyn."
"Don't forget you're tied up and I have a gun."
"You wouldn't shoot me."
"Fucking try me, doll."
He laughs, a real, genuine laugh. "Agree to my terms, sweetheart, and I'll tell you anything you want to know."
You huff. "What are your terms?"
"'Atta girl!" He exclaims cheerily.
You grab your pistol from its holster at your side and aim it at the man in front of you, resting the gun on your thigh. He glances down at it before raising his gaze back up to you. He clears his throat, but something tells you it's not because he is nervous.
"Go on a date with me."
Your eyebrows shoot up. He's joking, you think. A date?
"A date?"
"A date."
"You want to go on a date with the woman who knocked you out, dragged you to an unknown location, tied you up, is demanding information from you, and is currently pointing a gun at you?"
"Yes."
"Why?"
"I have my reasons."
"How do I know you won't just kill me when I show up?"
"Because that wouldn't be very gentleman like of me. My mama raised me better."
"You're a mob boss. You extort and kill people for a living."
He shrugs. "Well, what do you say? Do we have a deal?"
"No," you say.
"No?" He asks, confused.
"I have my own conditions." James tilts his head slightly as a signal to go on.
"You've already confirmed that my sister is alive which confirms you have her locked up somewhere. You will let her go and forgive her debt for whatever the hell it is that she owes you. Do that and once she is safely at home and I've laid eyes on her, you can have that date. Do we have a deal?"
James is staring at you, and as much as you hate it, you can't read him. Your heart is pounding, and you're hoping, praying even, that you've not pushed too far.
"Deal."
You blink once, twice before it registers that he has accepted the deal. Damn, you think, he really wants that date.
"Have her home by... What time was your meeting again? 7? Have her home safely by 7 tomorrow," you say, standing up from where you sat in front of him. You begin to move around the basement, picking up your things that you had brought with you in the whole kidnapping ordeal. Once you've collected your things, you start walking towards the stairs to leave. "If she isn't there, the deal's off."
"You're just going to leave me here?" James asks, pulling at his arm restraints.
You look over your shoulder at him and smile at him. "You're a mob boss, doll, I'm sure you'll get out of there in time." Then, with that, you ascend the stairs.

Yoo Sisters
Smut (Sister bonding, blow job, deep penetration, threesome, creampie)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Chapter 234
Words: 2900
(After Seungyeon walks in on Jeongyeon's ride on OC, she decides to tease her. With her tsundere person, it results in some real fun.)
The next day you wake up and see Jeongyeon on top of you with your cock in her hand and aligned it to her entrance. To your surprise, she seems different from usual, even happy, you might suggest.
Obviously, you wouldn’t say no to some morning sex and just let Jeongyeon do her thing. She slowly inserts the tip and waits a few seconds before dropping her whole weight onto your cock.
“Fuck, so good,” and she begins to ride you in a hard but steady manner. She places her head on your shoulder, letting you hear her heavy breathing.
You close your eyes and whisper in Jeongyeon’s ear all the things you did last night. The more you say, the tighter her walls clench on your cock, and the more sure she gets into a good rhythm.
Unbeknownst to you, someone was making their way back home after being away for a few days. She unlocks the door and can’t think of anything but take a nice shower and take a nap after a busy week. She notices that her house is off but can’t find what it is. She then looks down and sees a pair of shoes she’s never seen before and her younger sister’s shoes next to it.
Seungyeon walks around to see a blanket and some clothes on the couch. She has a vague idea of what occurred and smiles. Seungyeon slowly makes her way to her room and hears moaning coming out from the other side of the door. She takes out her phone and quietly turns the handle, and sees her sister in the nude on top of some.
“Click. Click”
Suddenly, Jeongyeon turns around and sees her sister standing at the entrance with her phone and flash on.
“Unnie!”
“Surprise!”
Jeongyeon rapidly tries to cover herself and gets off of you, “It’s not what it looks like Unnie!”
”I think it does. You’re leaking from your thighs.” Jeongyeon turns around and sees the mess she made on her sister’s bed. Embarrassed, she tries to cover herself with the pillows before Seungyeon teases her and says, “I’ll let the two of you finish, haha.”
The three of you eat silently at the kitchen table, avoiding any type of conversation on what just happened an hour ago. You try to break the silence by asking Jeongyeon to pass the salt, but instead she ignores you. Seungyeon looks up and smiles, “Here you go. Don't be mean to him, Jeongyeon. You need to take care of your man.”
Jeongyeon lifts her head up and shouts, “He's not my man!”
“Well, I wouldn't know what to call, maybe fuck buddies?”
Not wanting to hear her sister's teasing she finishes up her plate and heads to the sink, “I'm done eating. I'll clean everything up.”
“I'm done too.”
“Just drop it in the sink, I'll take care of everything.”
“Okay. Oh, by the way, Seungyeon, can I use your shower?”
“Yeah, go for it.”
“Thanks.”
Seungyeon sits on the couch, watching some television while Jeongyeon washes the dishes and cleans the kitchen. She is surprised that her sister finally lost her virginity. The only thing is that she isn't reacting the way she expected too, like being embarrassed or shy. She knows about her tsundere personality but assumed that she would show some actual emotions. She then hears the water from the shower turn on and gets an idea to tease her.
Seungyeon gets up and quietly makes her way to her room. She sees the bathroom door slightly open. “Should I do it? I haven't seen a cock in a while.” She only thinks about it briefly before making her mind, “Sisters are meant to share their toys, right?”
She quietly tosses her clothes into the hamper and sees your silhouette on the other side. Slowly, she slides the frosted glass door and notices your length. With a slight smirk, she bites her lip and places her foot inside.
Your eyes are closed as you wash your hair, and you feel a sudden breeze, but you make nothing of it. Out of nowhere, you feel a pair of hands stroking your cock and say, “Fuck, that feels nice. Acting all tough in front of your sister, huh? I knew you couldn't resist for another round, haha.”
There was no reply, but you didn't need any as those pairs of hands continued to stroke your cock. Now, hard, you feel the pair of lips kissing your tip.
Knowing what's about to happen you unconsciously search for her head and place your hand behind it. Slowly but surely, you move her head closer to your pelvis, making her take your cock in her mouth.
“Fuck, your mouth feels so warm. Take me in a bit more; I want to feel the back of your throat.”
You feel her mouth take more of your length as you scrape the inside of her palate. Surprised by how willing she is compared to before, you just enjoy it.
Jeongyeon is done with washing the dishes and turns around and sees the couch empty. She finds it weird since just a few minutes ago, her sister was watching television, and now she is nowhere to be found.
“Where is she?” as she looks at the other room and the patio. It isn't when she comes back and sees a faint amount of steam come out from the door is when she gets a bad feeling.
Jeongyeon walks to the room and sees the bathroom door slightly open, but steam is coming out. She walks closer and hears slurping sounds, which immediately triggers her.
Jeongyeon rushes and opens the door wide open just to see her older sister on her knees going down on you. “Unnie!”
Seungyeon hears her name and turns, giving a slight smirk as she releases your cock.
You hear a loud pop and feel the release of your cock. Not yet satisfied, you open your eyes and see Seungyeon down on her knees, turning her head to the side. You turn your head and see a full-blown, angry Jeongyeon standing by the door.
Your mind is all over the place as you try to understand the situation. You assumed it was Jeongyeon who was sucking you off instead of her sister and try to explain the situation, but then see Jeongyeon begin to undress.
“Unnie! Get away, I'm using him.”
“I couldn't help myself. I wanted to see what he had since you kept talking about him and how you liked him.”
Jeongyeon turns red, “Eww! I don't like him!”
With a smile on her face, she replies, “Then you wouldn't mind me getting a taste,” as she grabs hold of your cock again.
Jeongyeon watches as her sister rubs her cunt and takes your cock back into her mouth. She doesn't want to reveal her feelings, but watching her sister and you together make her do something unexpected.
You see Jeongyeon walk into the shower and get on her knees, pushing Seungyeon to the side. She grabs your cock and takes it aggressively into her mouth.
You groan from the rough and sloppy head you're getting from Jeongyeon. “Fuck, slow down. You're scraping my shaft against your teeth.”
She then looks up at you and slows down, relaxing her mouth. Her sister doesn't just stay there; she positions herself better to lick your balls.
As time passes, the two of them get in sync, allowing you to enjoy the sight of watching both sisters going down on you.
You decide to be a bit daring and grab Jeongyeon’s hand, signaling her to stand up. You turn her over and place both hands against the shower wall. To your surprise, she's very responsive and doesn't complain about your commands. From behind, you glide your hand against her pucker hole, then her cunt, getting it ready for what's to come.
Jeongyeon gets a bit anxious and closes her eyes as she feels your body against hers.
You quickly align your member against her cunt and press your tip inside, causing Jeongyeon to moan. Out of nowhere, Jeongyeon groans loudly as she feels her whole body getting stretched by your massive cock.
“Fuck! Slow down.”
You grab her hair and say, “Why? I want your sister to hear you moan,” and increase the pace of your thrusting.
Seungyeon watches as her sister gets railed in the shower and lowers her right hand to rub her clit. The image of watching the two of you having sex in front of her turns her on.
“How do you like having your sister watch as I fuck you?”
“No, unnie, turn around.”
Instead, she turns to see Seungyeon playing with herself, rubbing her clit rapidly.
“See, your sister likes what she sees.”
You continue to pound her for what feels like forever. “Fuck, I feel like cuming.”
“Don't, don't you dare.”
“Seungyeon, where do you think I should come? Outside or inside of Jeongyeon?”
Seungyeon bites her lips and teases her sister one last time, “If she doesn't want it, then maybe I'll have a taste.”
You decide to play along and pull out your cock from Jeongyeon. Seungyeon grabs your hand, leading you out of the shower and into her bedroom.
She lays on the bed and spreads her legs wide open, “You like what you see? I haven't had a taste in a while; I'd love to see what you can do,” as she pulls you in closer to her.
You stare at her leaking cunt as you grab your own cock, teasing her by aligning it to her entrance.
Suddenly, Jeongyeon yells, “Fine! You can come inside of me; just leave my sister out of it.” She makes her way towards the bed and lays down on it, exposing her cunt just like her sister.
“Damn, both Yoo Sisters. Both of you have nice-looking cunts.”
Seungyeon replies, “Thanks, I like your cock too.”
“Unnie! Don't say that!”
“Why? I'm just telling the truth; he's big, much bigger than the ones I've had.” She turns to Jeongyeon and says, “You wouldn't mind sharing him a bit, would you?”
“No!”
“Don't be mean, Jeongyeon. Remember that ?”
”No, unnie, he’s mi…”
Jeongyeon is not able to finish her sentence as Seungyeon grabs your waist and pulls you, penetrating herself with your cock. Seungyeon groans out loudly, feeling your length stretch out her cunt, “Oh fuck! You’re huge!”
You’re surprised by her sudden action and can’t believe you’re inside Jeongyeon’s sister, but you can’t complain. You want to tease Jegoneyon a bit more, and if it means getting down and dirty with Seungyeon, then you’re up for it.
“Come on, pretty boy. Show me what you got. I want to see what the fuss is about.”
Jeongyeon mumbles something, but nothing comes out her mouth as she sees you begin to thrust.
“Fuck, so deep. Don't be scared; you can go a bit rougher.”
You increase the intensity of your thrusting and insert your cock into her depths. It doesn't take long for her Seungyeon to adjust to your length. Her walls clench onto your cock as it moves inside of her, like an internal massage. You can tell that she has experience in these types of things, “Your pussy is tight.”
“Of course, I enjoy milking my fair share of cock” and winks at you.
Minutes pass, and you can't help but enjoy Seungyeon's pussy; you turn around and see a shocked Jeonggeon, frozen at the sight of you having sex with her sister.
“Fuck, I'm going to cum soon.”
Seungyeon lifts her head and says, “You're more than welcome to cum inside me.”
“You sure?”
“I'd be a waste to do it anywhere else.”
Seungyeon turns and grins at Jeongyeon, teasing her.
“Wait!”
You turn around and say, “What?” Jeongyeon grabs your arm and says, “Please, not my sister.” You can see the struggle in her face as she tries to say something but musters up the energy and says, “Come inside instead.”
“Stop, you're not serious.”
Jeongyeon gets on all fours and uses both hands to spread her cheeks. You see her leaking cunt, understanding how serious she actually is.
With her face towards the bed, Seungyeon looks up at you and pushes you away, signaling to take her sister instead.
You place your hand on her back and align your cock towards her entrance. In one go, you shove your whole length inside Jeongyeon, making her scream out loud.
“Ohh fuck!”
With your hands around her thighs, you pick up Jeongyeon and place her into a reverse stand-and-carry position.
“Wait, what are you doing? Put me down.”
“I think she to see your expression as you get fucked. Isn't that right, Seungyeon?”
“Yeah, I want to see Jeongyeon turn into a dirty mess.
You lift Jeongyeon’s body and begin to thrust rapidly, churning her sloppy insides. Jeongyeon covers her face, trying to avoid her sister looking at her.
Seungyeon, on the other hand, masturbates to the scene of a large and thick cock, messing up her younger sister.
“Don't cover your face; let your sister get a good view. Show her how much of a slut you are for this cock.”
“No! Unnie, don't look!”
There's no response; only the sound of flesh beating against each other is heard from the room.
You walk towards the large mirror on the other side of the room and stand in front of it. “Look at the mirror, see yourself getting fucked.”
Jeongyeon turns her head and looks in the mirror; what she sees makes her body tighten. “See, you do like it. So much for that strong personality, only to turn a mess when you get some cock.”
You move your hand towards her cunt and rub her clit in between your fingers. Jeongyeon moans loudly, “Ahh, I'm about to cum!”
“What's that? I didn't catch what you said,” inserting your fingers in her already tight cunt and swollen clit.
“Ima, c-cum.”
“You know where it's going in, right?”
Jeongyeon bites her lip, not wanting the words to slip out of her mouth.
You tease her once more, rubbing her clit rapidly until the last second.
“Ahh, I'm c-cuming…” and release your fingers as well as pull out your cock, denying Jeongyeon of her orgasm.
She then whines, “N.no, I was about to cum.”
Suddenly your cock aligns with her entrance, and you drop her body, penetrating her in one go. “I'm the one that’s going to cum first,” as you burst inside of her in one go. Jeongyeon screams and tightens her body, making her spasm.
“Fuck! I can't hold it!
Seungyeon watches her younger sister pee herself as she gets pumped full of cum. Jeongyeon spasms uncontrollably while being held in your arms. You try to pull out your cock, but her cunt clenches onto your thick rob, not wanting to let go.
“Fuck, you got real tight. Your pussy is so addicted to my cock that it doesn't want to let go, haha.”
There's no response; you only see a passed-out Jeongyeon through the mirror.
A loud pop is heard as you pull out your cock, causing a large amount of cum to ooze out of her gaping hole.
“Haha, Jeongyeon is such a mess. You really did a number on her. She's always putting up a serious front, but in reality, she's like everyone else.”
Jeongyeon wakes up and turns to see Seungyeon riding on your cock. She can't see to remember what happened but feels a sense of hotness coming from her lower body. She grazes her hand and sees a large amount of cum running from her thighs.
“Fuck, I'm jealous of Jihyo. She has a really good husband.”
“I can say the same thing; Jeongyeon has a really good sister.”
“This sister wants you to cum on her face. How about it?”
“I'd love to.”
With Jeongyeon still lying down, she sees Seungyeon on her knees. She watches as you grab your cock and stroke it in front of her sister's face.
Seungyeon knows that Jeongyeon is awake and decides to tease her once more, “I know you want to feel his cum on your face. Let's show him how close we are as sisters.”
Seungyeon stands up and grabs Jeongyeon’s hand, leading her towards the carpet. They both get on their knees and watch as you stroke your cock in front of them.
You can’t help but grin at the sight of both sisters right next to each other, waiting for you to cum on their faces. “Fuck, I’m going to cum!”
Jeongyeon watches as her sister sticks out her tongue, looks directly into your eyes, and does the same.
”Take my cum” as you paint their faces completely white.
You see as they swallow the large amount cum pooled on their tongue and ask, “Open wide; I want to make sure you swallowed every ounce.”
”Ahhh,” sticking their tongues out and their faces dripping your thick load.

"Open your mouth"
You did and sighed in contentment as Benedict placed almonds inside your mouth and your eyes quickly returned to your cards.
"I'm quite sure you will lose this round," you said
Hyacinth arched a brow and smiled "If you believe so, Mrs Bridgerton" she giggled and placed her cards close to her chest "I am good with this hand, Gregory?"
Gregory scrunched his face and shrugged "I might be?"
You laughed "Well that is not good humbug. I am good with mine... show"
Silence reigned for three seconds as the three of you observed each hand of cards. Your small grunt came first as you saw Hyacinth's card beat yours and Gregory's and her victory scream came high inside the drawing room.
"I told you so!!" she said excitedly.
"So you did," you grumbled "But I am sure I am better at chess than you"
Hyacinth rolled her eyes as she picked up the cards "Maybe but you cannot gamble at chess"
"You cannot gamble at this either" Gregory snorted "Mother would have our hides if we were gambling"
You winked at Hyacinth's pouting face "One gambling game with shillings, that is all I can offer"
Hyacinth then stared at Gregory "If you don't marry someone like Y/N I will forget you exist"
You smiled in satisfaction and opened your mouth for Benedict to see and he rolled his eyes only to pick more almonds, but of course, the moment got caught by Anthony entering the room and emitting a soft giggle at the sight.
"Oh, calm down now brother," Benedict said dropping the almonds inside your mouth and grabbing a napkin to place on your lap "I have lost the last round"
"And she put you as her feeder?" he chuckled and locked eyes with you "I have never doubted you, Y/N. Sorry for the interruption, however, Mother is waiting for Daphne downstairs and she is alone"
You quickly looked at Benedict and brushed his tailcoat "Go, I will stay here. Where is Kate?"
Anthony pursed a smile "Refreshing herself...the heat here is unbelievable for her"
Benedict grunted and stood up "She refreshed herself no more than one hour hour... And you judge me, brother"
You saw the two men leave with a smile and turned to look at the younger Bridgertons "Another round?"
"Please," Hyacinth said taking everyone's card "So, Y/N how is married life treating you?"
Gregory snorted again "Should I go now?"
"No, you might find this all too funny but you will need this knowledge one day, brother"
"Life is good" you stated and took the cards she was shuffling at you "Married or not life is good"
"I can't wait to debut" she expressed and leaned against her seat "The ball will be amazing with me in it"
"It will" you agreed and looked at Gregory who had the most bored expression you had ever seen.
"I do not care" he stated and placed his cards on the table "I have so many assignments. Are all the tutors the same?"
"Harsh?" you asked taking one card from the middle and trading it "Or too harsh?"
"Too harsh" he confessed "I have told them to slow the pace. But they keep pushing me. They said I have to work hard. My future depends on it"
"Your future does depend on it" you agreed and traded again, the card was not the one you wanted "But if it's too much pressure... I might advise you to go and tell your Mother or Anthony"
"Why is my governess not harsh on me?" Hyacinth asked
"Because you're a woman"
"Hey!"
"I am j-"
"Alright, alright," you said trying to calm the waters "Will you two keep silent if I start talking about how married life is?"
"Definitely" Gregory sighed
"Please tell me" Hyacinth started "Does Benedict snore?"
One round of Hyacinth winning and Gregory pouting in sore loss and you three joined Anthony, Benedict and Violet by the entrance of Aubrey Hall; the windows mostly opened flew the fresh wind of Kent's grounds. Your eyes stopped by Eloise who hid next to a pillar with a book by her chest with Francesca quietly murmuring something to her and you tried to join them but Benedict leapt from his mother's side to grab your shoulder and gently push you next to him.
"Who won?"
"As if you need to ask," you said "And Daphne is not here?"
"Oh no, she always likes to be the last" he added
Eloise snorted behind you "And with two creatures by her side and Simon away quite frequently... I would s-"
"That she's doing her best" Violet nodded to all the people in the great hall "Now I believe she will tell us some news so everybody act surprised"
"Child number three?!" Eloise exclaimed
"Well, they move quickly" Benedict whispered to your ear
"Oh?" Anthony looked surprised although very quietly surprised "She will deliver the news this week?"
"I believe so, why my darling?"
"Nothing. I thought It would be a plain getaway for us"
Benedict kissed your cheek and stared at his brother "When has it been plain for us, brother?"
Indeed when has it been plain within the Bridgerton household?
You walked outside at the sight of the carriage. The clan moved in grace as Hyacinth and Gregory strode with more energy than anyone else and you could feel Benedict's hands gently moving across your arms so you turned your attention at him, arched brow was directed at you and in complete silence you knew what was running through his mind.
"Ask now or forever hold your peace"
"I have no idea what you are talking about, dear wife"
You arched a brow and he gave a chuckle before kissing your forehead, your cheeks and finally your lips.
"Are we expecting?" he teased.
"Not yet" you confessed and watched Daphne arrive "You might need to work harder"
"I have been working harder!" he whispered "Have I not?"
"Debatable. Prove me wrong again"
You left his amazed face behind you as you went to Daphne, her clear eyes and fair skin making her look so delicate and stunning. She looked happy, even if her face showed worry because of the baby in her arms, she looked content. Everyone welcomed her and the nannies behind her. When everyone went to the terrace with views to the garden, you sat down by Benedict's right and Francesca's left; Daphne kept rocking baby Belinda while strolling in front of all of you.
"We will have to make a list, Daphne" Violet started "of the names of your guests, their titles, and their husbands"
"Mother," Anthony said with a smile "Can't we enjoy the moment?"
"Yes, of course, darling. We shall, and this is why I need a list to ensure every person is present and accounted for. Your sister has asked me to help so I shall"
"What a lovely way to ruin the moment"
Daphne giggled "It is fine, Mum" she then knitted her brows at the soft cry of the baby "Is that time" she confessed "There is more noise coming from this little one"
"She got that from us" Benedict snorted "It is a Bridgerton thing to ask for attention"
"If you are so sure" Daphne teased, almost throwing the baby to him and caught him off guard
"No-"
"Yes, you must"
"Bu-"
"He-"
"Careful with the head, dear"
"I-"
"Oh" Eloise puffed in laughter at the view of Benedict completely and utterly confused at the baby hanging from his arms "This marks the beginning of our vacation"
You tried to hold baby Belinda's back while Benedict tried to figure out the whole holding baby process, her eyes wide and her soft face looking at him in wonder.
"Do not cry" he whispered at her "I beg of you, please"
You tried to muffle the laugh and failed and Anthony's eyes were already glistening at the sight, his lips tightly shut trying not to burst out laughing.
"I- uh, Daphne can I pass her back? She will not stop staring at me and I cannot bear it"
Daphne, on the other hand, was already enjoying the scene and had a smug smile "No, I must go and refresh myself"
"Daphne, please"
"No" she turned to you "Y/N?"
You looked at her and shook your head "I am quite entertained at the sight of the terrorised man by my side"
Benedict's eyes widened "Well, thank you”
You saw Daphne leave with all intention of not coming anytime soon so you pushed the baby’s body close to him.
“Like this,” you said “Babies don’t like to be held like that”
“Uhm” he nervously said taking the baby close to his chest “Oh, it looks easy when the nanny does it. Or even Daphne, she seems so natural... but not me. Oh no. Look at me”
“Is just a child” Francesca giggled as she stood up “Who wants to play whist?”
“Me!” Eloise exclaimed
“No gambling!” Violet said sternly “Eloise, no gambling”
“Yes Mother”
Hyacinth chuckled as she stood up with Gregory and the four younger siblings left the shadowed terrace. Violet stood still and silent as Benedict kept anxiously glaring at the small body by his chest.
“She doesn’t bite, my love” you chortled
He looked at you and then back at the baby, her small hands exploring the tie around his neck "I believe she does” he replied.
Anthony stood up and clasped his hands together and you knew, by the way, his lips pursed, the man had a plan and was very excited about it.
"Mother, what do you say about an early dinner?”
“Early dinner? You mean in less than an hour?”
“I can always ring the cooks and tell them to start-oh Kate”
You turned around to see Kate flowing in a soft navy dress, she nodded at Anthony and smiled at all of you three.
“Forgive me for my late presence, Lady Bridgerton”
“No need to worry about it, this heat puts one in quite a state. Oh my God, Benedict give me the child, she’s eating the button”
Benedict parted his lips “How would I know!” He said passing the child to his mother and Violet took the baby as if it was a normal occurrence and placed her over her chest.
"My, my" Violet cooed the child "What is she doing, hmm? Kate sit, the young ones are playing while Daphne is taking a well-deserved rest”
“What about you two?” Kate asked you and Benedict “What is your plan for this weekend in Aubrey Hall?”
You looked at Benedict, your hand gently placed on his knee and shrugged your shoulders "Whatever my husband desires"
Benedict raised his brow and grinned "Whatever my wife desires"
You both exchanged smiles and turned to the rest of the family and you could not help the smile creeping over your face as Anthony's arm found its place around Kate's waist and her head leaning against his shoulder.
"No work, we agreed” Anthony nodded towards Benedict “right?”
“Yes, right”
“Oh” Violet looked at her second child “Is that professor keeping you busy?”
“Ehhhh just a tad… when he said he was going to spread the word of my practice I didn’t expect he would take it seriously”
“You must see how he works” you added “Every week he finishes a piece”
Benedict received soft claps from the woman while Anthony proudly nodded.
"I have to see the latest, I will be there next week" Anthony declared "And I am quite proud of you, brother.”
Benedict blushed, his hand trying to hide his face behind a glass of lemonade “Yes, thank you, brother. Thank you ladies… we must change the subject please or else I will turn to mush”
“I must go and see the kids are not gambling” Violet stood up with the baby already dosing off and turned to Anthony “If you want that early dinner please go and ring the cooks, they must start getting everything ready”
“Yes, Mother”
You saw Violet leave and you quickly whispered to Benedict "Afraid of babies I see"
"I'm more afraid of me around them" he snorted and placed a kiss on your shoulder
Anthony rolled his eyes at the two of you and then he turned to Kate to kiss her once "Well, I must go and tell the cooks"
Benedict wriggled his brows "Mrs Albury will serve your head on a plate"
"You have a better idea?" he asked "I know I vex her most of the time"
Kate snorted "I must be friends with her then"
Anthony grunted and extended his arm to Benedict "Then come on now, she does have a soft spot for you" he looked at you "She always gave him extra pastries whenever he asked"
Benedict innocently shrugged "Because I am charming"
You nodded in support of your husband "Yes you are"
"Yes I am" he stood up, softly leaving your hand from his "Alright then, I must go with you"
"Thank you"
"Don't mention it" he winked at you as the two men left you and Kate alone
You laughed and stood up to move to the chair next to her
Her shining face smiled at you "So... Mrs Bridgerton"
"Viscountess"
"Ha" she puffed "How do you find Wiltshire?"
"It is lovely, far better than London"
"Right?" she nodded "The city is not for me"
"But Anthony is there"
"He is, isn't he?" she grinned "Although sometimes I think that this house is not for him either. Too quiet. Too much space"
"Well, he can always fill the house"
"I suppose he can" she giggled looking down and then exhaled "I hope I am not inviting myself but I must vis-"
"Please" you took the comb clip from your hair letting it loose "You are more than welcome to visit us whenever you like"
"Thank you, Y/N"
"I recently got a nice volume of books, engineering"
Kate's eyes glint with the curiosity of your acquisition "Would Benedict complain if I live with you there forever?"
You two laughed seeing the sunny view ahead and so you stood up "Fancy some garden bowling?"
"Accept it Y/N, you beat us at Chess but cards and bowling are for Hyacinth and me to win"
"I tripped last time"
"Sure"
"It was the wind!"
This time without wind Kate still won with great advantage over you, you said it was your loose hair that blinded you but after all the sore loss was quickly washed away with the view of Benedict's comical dance as he stepped out of the house with a tray in his hands.
"What happened?" Kate smirked
"Oh Mrs Albury saw me and gave me-"
"Pastries," Anthony said trying to get one but Benedict dodged him as he leapt towards you "Come on!"
"Ladies" Benedict offered and you took one covered in powdered sugar "You must ask what she gave to him," he told Kate
Kate leaned to see Anthony "What did she give you?"
"An apple" Anthony bit it with a grump and saw the bowling by the side "You won?"
"As always"
"Hey," you said with your mouth full while Benedict took another one for himself, your hands grabbed the complete tray as you said "I was blinded for my last shoot. Oh I am parched"
Benedict's clear eyes opened "Do not move, love. I will fetch you more lemonade"
"Anthony?"
He saw Kate's blinking eyes and he went with Benedict to get the lemonade. Both brothers even if both are two years apart are like two peas in a pond and oh so comical together as they try to serve the drinks before the other one does. They silently fight for the glasses and the jar of liquid. Anthony did it so fast splashing some on Benedict's hand.
"Oh" Kate sighed at him "Can you add one teaspoon of sugar?"
"Yes, yes, yes" Anthony's face screamed concentration
"And the ice?"
"And the ice" he obeyed Kate
Benedict snorted and smiled in triumph as he tried to give you the glass of lemonade but you opened your mouth and softly said "Can you add a slice of lemon?"
"Sure!" he competitively tried to grab the slices, almost a fistful was thrown inside the glass while Anthony brushed his shoulder in success as he passed the glass to her
"Here you go, darling"
"That's..." Benedict murmured removing the fallen lemonade from his hand "Not fair.... here, love"
You took the glass -more lemon slices than juice- but you smiled "Thank you, Ben" so you turned to Kate "A walk, Lady Bridgerton?"
She sipped from her glass "My honour, Mrs Bridgerton"
Benedict tried to grab the tray of pastries but failed as you dodged him in an elegant swift move "hey-"
"Let us go" you said between giggles as Kate took a pastry leaving both men by the staircase
Anthony saw the apple he was left with, Benedict saw the wetness of lemonade his brother splashed on his sleeve and how his tray of pastries was stolen by the most beautiful thief on earth and both sighed.
"These ladies, brother" Anthony started "They have a leash of their own on us"
"Say what you want, brother" Benedict smirked looking at your distant figure "I'm alright with it as long as she is the one pulling it"
By dinner, you dodged a pea flying from Gregory's plate that was aimed at Hyacinth and one carrot cube targetted from Eloise to Benedict. The dinner was well-equipped thanks to Mrs Albury and her team and as all the Bridgertons -you included- dined at the long table you smiled at the chaotic and vociferous environment that you were pulled into.
"If I may" Anthony raised his glass, a few hours ago the man had already changed his constricted attire to a more relaxed one, he was the one who looked the most different than when the day started, everyone else had remained in the same ensemble since morning "I propose a toast to our newest member"
"I do not mean to sound rude, brother but" Daphne confusedly smiled "We already hosted a beautiful dinner for Y/N"
"Yes" Eloise nodded "Three months ago when they returned from their honeymoon"
"And it was lovely" you added
"Indeed it was" Anthony agreed "But I am not referring to Y/N"
Silence.
Daphne was quick to smile as her hand touched her heart "Oh no you must not. How did you know?"
Anthony furrowed his brows "Pardon?"
Daphne raised her glass "Only water and lemonade for me for some months"
Violet shoot arrows through her eyes at EVERYONE. Act surprised.
Everyone clapped in unison, the third grandson of Violet, the third announcement from Daphne.
"I think it will be a boy" Hyacinth said
"I would dare to say girl" Francesca stated
"I think" Anthony smiled still standing "That we are lucky to be such a large family"
"Here, here" Benedict chimed in
"How did you know?" Daphne questioned "I am not showing and-"
"Well I must say it was my own timing" Anthony grinned at the confused faces, his gaze landing on Kate by your left "But I meant... quite a different member"
This got everyone in silence again.
"Kate's expecting"
Loud screams came from everyone, Eloise's fork fell on her plate while Hyacinth gasped, Daphne and Francesca screamed at the same time and Benedict laughed so hard his head fell against your shoulder and you felt the pull from your skin as you smiled seeing the happiness in everyone's faces.
"My son" Violet softly gasped, her hand on her chest, her eyes glinting in tears "Kate-"
"Brother!" Benedict shouted as he stood and clapped his hands "Anthony, a father"
Anthony had a smug smile on his face and the joy that came from everyone was overwhelming, even little Gregory and Hyacinth were jumping in their seats as the rest of the siblings congratulated the two of them. Until Hyacinth threw another pea, the topic of the dinner was the arrival of two little Bridgertons.
When the night fell, you took your dress out of your way and changed for your sleeping gown, with Benedict quickly doing a sketch for his next commissioned work you ventured to the library where according to Eloise you could find some biology books with real illustrations.
You opened the door and smiled at the scent of ink and parchment. This was your setting. Page after page you stood cornered in a loveseat with the candle lightening your features.
“Hey”
You turned around to see Benedict’s shadowed face behind the parted door.
“Hello you”
“I went to our room to see it was empty” he grinned
You showed him the book on your lap “guilty”
“I knew you would be here” he sighed taking the loveseat next to you “what is this about, my love?
You closed the book and looked at him, his blue eyes looking back at you, you sighed.
"Biology. This book has real illustrations”
“I know all about it” he nodded “I paint them don’t I?”
“But from the inside” you grinned “it has all these diagrams and, and all these details. I have read this before but for sure this is a greater volume”
“I love it” he said holding his chin with his hand and staring at you “I might have read it before” he cocked his head
“Ah have you?”
“Oh yes. Mandatory literature in my house of studies. I know all about biology and… insides”
“Can you become a doctor then?”
“Now that is pushing it a bit” he chuckled
“How is the sketch?”
“It turned alright, I didn’t bring my tools so it will stay a sketch for the week”
“Well, Anthony did say no work, so…”
“Yeah yeah and what if I want to paint you?”
You blushed “Isn’t one painting enough?”
“Never enough”
You giggled at his loving words and shining eyes.
"What are you thinking?" he asked
"Nothing. If you are good to go then let us sleep” you danced the book in your hands “my questions will be answered tomorrow”
“What questions?”
“Oh nothing important but I started a chapter about anatomy, you know how I get” you said standing up and staring intently at the leathered cover “My governess always said a good thing about me is that I always list questions I might h-“
And your words were sliced, no, cut by Benedict’s lips as he took your breath away, your mouth opened in surprise, your hand falling to the book. So easy is to make you weak in the knees with his warm touch. You could feel his soft tongue asking for permission, his nose bumping into yours and the feeling of his chest against your breasts.
His hands were placed on each side of your face, his lips so gentle.
“I adore it when you get rambling like this” he confessed licking his lips and looking down at yours
"Then kiss me more"
And he did. Benedict took the book away and left it on the loveseat, his hands on the nape of your neck, your hands on his shoulders, his tongue was the one dancing and the fire growing in your lower belly was burning you alive.
“Whatever questions you have about that book?” He suddenly asked
“Uh?” You blinked at the forgotten book “Well I just-“
“You just?”
“Muscles and bones and-“
Benedict removed your hair from your forehead and smiled “I know all you need to know” his finger drew a line down your collarbone until the valley of your breasts.
And with a swift turn, his hand was around your waist and you were now against the wall. His hot lips were on your neck, your hand was on his hair and your other hand was on the front of his trousers.
"My God" he groaned
"Ben"
"I’ll tell you” he licked your neck and locked eyes with you again “muscles can be taught to be flexible”
Your mind was not there. Not with his words. Your brain was only able to focus on the fire consuming your skin.
"And bones" he whispered biting your earlobe and his hands roamed on your back "They can break but only if you’re rough enough”
“How rough?” You inquired
His brow arched “How roughy do you think?” He gulped “quite”
Your core ached by now with the promise of his words. You walked outside the wall and his figure and moved to the desk. Your hands pushed the papers aside and you sat on the wood surface.
Benedict had never seen something as hot as this. Your hair was a mess, your nightgown was crumpled and your legs were opened in a silent invitation.
He moved forward and you felt the tent in his trousers bump against your core and your fingers grabbed his hair while he pushed your legs apart.
“How flexible are your muscles?” He asked “I have seen some evidence of an answer. Perhaps I can try to see where is the limit”
You licked your lip “If you say muscles can be taught… you are the one who knows, after all”
"Gosh, Y/N” he came closer, his nose getting your scent as his hands gripped your thighs, your skin was burning his palms.
He kissed the valley of your breasts, the top of them, your shoulders, your cheeks, and then, and only then he reached the soft skin under your ear and he softly bit, his tongue making your mind blank.
"Ben"
"Mhm?"
"You are wearing too many clothes"
"Right" he stepped back and his eyes were darkened in lust, his lips were swollen, his hair was a mess and his erection was evident while his hands took the waistcoat, his shirt, his shoes, his trousers and his small clothes until he was standing there naked in front of you.
"Now who is wearing too many clothes" he grinned but quickly turned around giving you a full view of his behind "I must lock those doors"
And you did not move from the table, the wood was cold against your heated skin, your body was burning and your hands were trembling. Whatever lesson he was about to offer, you knew that Benedict's dedication to please you has never faltered and on the contrary, has increased with each passing day.
His hand locked the doors and you saw his figure coming to you, his blue eyes and his pink lips, the way his chest rose and fell with each step and how his cock was pulsating, the tip almost touching his navel and his veins were screaming at you.
"A muscle" he whispered "can be conditioned for a sport or any other activity" his hand took your knee and softly lifted it until your foot was placed on the rim of the desk "Did you know that?"
"Slightly"
"Huh" he took your other knee and did the same, his hands pushed the skirt of your gown away and he saw the pantalettes hiding your wetness "Muscles can be stretched too"
"Benedict" you smirked and puffed "I love you but can't you see I need you?"
His eyes darkened at the view, he had seen you peevish before and when you are like that, so testy at his own teasing he knows that indeed you want your muscles to be stretched.
"Fine" he said grabbing your hips and pulling you closer to his cock, his fingers danced against the ribbon of your pantalettes and he took them out only for him to stretch your legs wider "happy, wife?"
"Happy" you sighed at the sight of him, his cock was pulsating at the view of your sex and the heat coming from him was making you drip.
Benedict leaned forward and his tip touched your entrance, the warmth of your folds was enough to make him groan, his hands on your hips.
"You know, my favourite thing to paint are flowers. I love the petals" he entered you and your nails dug into his arms, he grunted "the stems" his length filled you up, inch after inch until he was deep inside of you "I love it when the wind blows and the flower blooms" his mouth was on yours and you felt the thrust from his hips "You, my love, are a rose" his lips were on your neck as he pushed harder inside of you and your walls clenched around his cock "and when I push you, and you blossom"
You wrapped your legs around his waist but he swiftly left them open while your feet rested on the wooden surface "You feel so good" you murmured
Benedict got the praise he was seeking, his hands grabbed the desk and he thrust faster until he could only hear his balls crashing against you and the stick of the cream forming between you two.
"I am so lost in you" his cock hit a sensitive spot
"Ohhhhh B-"you moaned, the desk was moving under you but neither of you cared.
Benedict could not stop, the tightness around his cock was making his knees shake, indeed your muscles are so fit for this activity as you wrap so tightly.
But he stopped. He didn't enjoy two things of thing; one, your gown was still on. He could see your nipples under it and he needed to see them without obstacle. Two, he hasn't tasted you and he always does. Always.
"Benedict, a-"
"Come here, love. Stand up"
You obeyed in a lost trance. He took the hem of your gown and lifted it until you had no choice but to remove it completely. You stood in front of him, your body flushed and your skin glistening.
"Perfect"
And with no time to process, he turned you around and you were now facing the desk. His chest against your back and his hands on your stomach, his length was pulsating behind your folds.
"I cannot paint without colours, can I?" he asked licking the column of your neck
"I guess not"
"So, I cannot love you without tasting you"
You felt how he pushed you forward, your chest touched the desk making your breasts cling together, you were trapped between him and the table. Benedict's cock was pulsating behind your sex and you arched your back at the thought of his tongue against your skin.
What have you done to him? He kneeled and saw your glory and tackled it fiercely in one good move. His tongue licked and his mouth sucked, your legs trembled and his name was the only word in your mind.
"Ben, oh God. Oh, please, oh-OH GOD!"
His hands grabbed your ass cheeks, the red marks on his palms were worth it. You moaned louder when his thumb brushed the sensitive skin and he took your hips and enjoyed too much how you were not able to squirm like you always do and the only thing you could do was to stay still. He grunted at your taste and savoured the wetness of your core.
And without notice, you screamed and growled as an incredible orgasm ran from your legs towards your head. The legs you normally tense when you release yourself are not stretched and not being able to contract and the shock is sublime. You roll your eyes as you feel Benedict's mouth taking over your contracting walls.
You are still in that phase when your mind is a mess and the bliss is not letting you think clearly. Your hands were clenching into fists and your toes were curling.
Rapidly, Benedict stands, his hand caresses the column of your spine and his cock enters your dripping core making you moan as the orgasm lingers around. He strides and strides so easily as if you were made for him and your body was welcoming him with every push.
"Be-Be-Ben" you said between thrusts "I-"
He felt the remnant of your release as you tried to milk his cock, he couldn't anymore, not with your back flexing and arching nor your bum wiggling at the pace. Not with you dripping from his lips.
He moaned hard as he tried with all his being to push his tip deeper so he could spill himself, his cum filled you up and the hot stickiness was welcomed by your inner walls.
His body was limp above yours, his hands were holding him as he breathed heavily "That was intense" he groaned
"It was" you whispered, your cheek against the table, the sweat of your brow was glinting.
"Did you learn anything, dear wife?" He asked and pulled out making you wince
You turned around and stared at him, his hair was messy and his face was still flushed, his eyes were glowing and the smirk he had on his face was too cocky.
"I might have learnt a thing or two" you teased
"Oh I hope so" he grabbed your hands and helped you stand, your legs were weak and you needed his help.
"Perhaps" you stood on your tiptoes and kissed him softly "I need to do more exercises"
He smiled against your lips "We do have a week here"
"One lesson at a time," you said placing your gown over your head "Oh, talking about lessons, Gregory-"
"Gregory?"
"Yes, Gregory told me his tutors were too harsh. I advised him to tell Anthony"
Benedict didn't bother to close his loose shirt and he frowned "Anthony won't listen with the tone he uses" he said as you handed him his belt "Thank you, no I must talk to them"
"Do you?"
"Yes, I know how to approach them. Gregory is a fine young man and I must also talk to Hyacinth's governess, I have seen her lacking"
"Oh" You stood silent as you watched his eyes dancing
"And I must talk to Daphne too, I saw a slight mark by Belinda's foot. I wonder if she checked that. I know Augie doesn't have it"
"Observant"
"And we shall buy the baby some toys, something for her to chew on. She was indeed chewing on my button"
"If you say so"
Benedict smiled as he opened the door for you "Maybe a dainty dress for her"
"Aw are you smitten now by the baby?" you teased
"w-"
"I thought you said you were afraid of you around them, now look at you"
"Let me be, woman..." he said taking your back with his hand "I must start getting prepared with an idea of our own"
"Really?"
He snorted "With how much I make you... blossom" he mocked "with my essence... isn't it unavoidable?"
You shrugged and smirked in his direction "And the lessons haven't stopped"
"Oh no, they just began, Mrs Bridgerton"

finding excuses to be alone with each other - Buddie
hi, and thank you! sorry this has taken a while, and also i have no explanation for why i decided to write new year's eve fic in june. BUT: here you are!
a stolen moment
1200 words | buddie | developing relationship | secret relationship | kissing | fluff

There are too many people at this party.
Normally, this isn't something Buck would even think to complain about. Maddie and Chim are hosting, since Bobby and Athena are still living out of a tiny one-bedroom while work continues on their house, and Hen and Karen are still trying to get Mara settled back at home—New Year's parties are apparently not conducive to a quiet, predictable bedtime routine, and the Wilson family unit will probably be heading out well before the ball drops anyway—and nobody else has even close to enough room. It's still packed to the brim, overflowing onto the back patio, clusters of people chatting over drinks in the kitchen while the kids have taken over the living room TV for a vicious Mario Kart showdown that Chris is currently winning. Maddie's in the back bedroom putting Jee down for bedtime, and Chim is holding court over the dessert table, and it's all—great, honestly, it's great. It's awesome, having his family here, and happy, and together under the same roof after the year they've all had.
He glances up and meets Eddie's eye from across the dining room. Gets a quick smile in return. Eddie's cheeks are pink, maybe from the warmth, maybe from the two glasses of wine he's had, since Buck will be the one driving them home. He's wearing a green Henley that Buck knows is exactly as soft as it looks and worn-in jeans that mold lovingly to the lines of his thighs as he leans back against the door frame, and it's all pretty distressing, honestly. Buck's hands are itching to touch.
When he meets Eddie's eyes again, Eddie is grinning broadly. Caught, Buck ducks his head. He's blushing, he knows, and he doesn't have the excuse of the wine.
They're keeping it to themselves, at least for now. That was the decision they both made after Eddie kissed him in the loft two nights ago, after Buck kissed him back, after they didn't actually manage to make it all the way up to the bed and ended up on the couch instead, gasping into each other's mouths, fumbling and eager as teenagers. They're keeping it to themselves until Eddie figures out how he's going to tell Chris. He's skittish about that still, and Buck isn't going to push. So he'll probably be sleeping on the fold-out couch tonight instead of in Eddie's bed, and he's not going to kiss Eddie in the middle of the party, no matter how much he wants to.
It's okay. They have time.
"Hey, didn't someone bring dessert plates?" Chim calls from the kitchen. "Please tell me someone brought dessert plates, we're all out of the big ones and I'm really not up for doing dishes tonight."
Ah, shit. Right. That was Buck's job. He's pretty sure he did pick some up, actually, but they're probably still out in the Jeep, which is parked somewhere in the snarl of cars crowding the Han driveway and pulled off to the side of the street in front of their lawn.
"I got 'em," he calls, setting his soda down.
"My hero," Chim retorts, only half-teasing by his tone. Buck rolls his eyes and goes to find his shoes.
He doesn't realize that Eddie is following him until he's already slipped them on in the entry hall, a few steps away from the party. "What's up?"
Eddie shrugs, guileless, and crouches down to retrieve his shoes as well. "Figured I'd help you."
"You figured you'd help me…. bring in a package of paper plates?"
"Yeah," Eddie says innocently, but there's a smile tugging at the corner of his mouth, and god, Buck really wants to kiss him.
"Okay," he agrees instead, and pulls open the door. Eddie follows him out into the night, cool and dim even with Christmas lights still lit up all down the street. There's a dampness to the air that feels like rain; it's not that cold, but it's enough of a contrast to the warm house that a shiver goes through him. Eddie falls into step beside him, then reaches for his hand.
Buck shivers again, for reasons that have nothing to do with the cold this time. Eddie's hand is warm and broad, and he strokes his thumb lightly against Buck's, lighting up nerve endings he didn't even know he had.
It's such a small thing. But they've never actually done this yet. It all feels so new, sparkling like fireworks through his veins.
"Okay?" Eddie asks, and Buck realizes that he's stopped walking.
"Yeah," he says. He's not doing a very good job of keeping the smile off his face, or out of his voice, but Eddie's got the exact same dopey smile on his face, so it's fine. They weave through the cars to where Buck's Jeep is parked, close enough to the street that they'll probably be able to get out without playing vehicle Tetris. Far enough from the house that they're shielded from view by Bobby's truck parked alongside them, so he's not all that surprised when Eddie lets go of his hand only to push him gently against the side of the Jeep and kiss him.
He gets lost in that for a little bit. The heat of Eddie's mouth, his hands moving from Buck's shoulders to cradle his jaw—he did that the first time, too. Held Buck like he's holding him now, like he's something precious and worth treating with care, and Buck's already hooked on it. He slides his hand up Eddie's back, feeling the warmth of him, to cup the back of his neck as Eddie licks into his mouth with leisurely sweetness, like he's got all the time in the world to kiss Buck just like this on the sidewalk on New Year's Eve.
Sooner or later, someone's going to come looking for them. It still takes a while for Buck to break the kiss, and when Eddie tugs lightly at his lower lip with his teeth before pulling away, he almost dives back in again. Almost.
"We should probably get back to the party," he says, very reluctantly.
"Yeah," Eddie sighs. He leans in and kisses Buck again, a sweeter, softer thing before leaning past him to open the door. Buck ducks into the back seat to retrieve the package of plates and the bottle of wine they forgot to bring in earlier, and when he straightens up, Eddie is watching him. He looks—hesitant, almost. Nervous. He looks the way he looked two days ago, right before he kissed Buck.
"What's up?" Buck asks.
"I want to tell Chris," Eddie says, all in a rush. "Maybe not—right now, at the party, but when we get home, I want to tell him. About us."
Buck takes a quick, sharp breath. "Are you sure?"
"I've never been as sure about anything in my life as I am about you."
"Eddie."
"It's the truth. And—I want him to know. Even if it's an adjustment, even if it takes some time to—I want him to know. I want everyone to know. If that's okay with you."
"Eddie," Buck says again, and then, "yeah, yeah of course it's okay."
"Good," Eddie says, with a sudden, brilliant smile. And well—Chim can wait a few more minutes for his paper plates. Buck sets them down and pulls Eddie back in.

The Fall from the Heavens (37)
[ canon • Aemond x Strong • niece female ]
[ warnings: angst, attempted murder, descriptions of wounds and their effects, descriptions of the fight ]
Tumblr media
[ description: A cool distance turns into friendship and more when two children see that they can find refuge and understanding in each other. However, naïve dreams collide with the reality in which every event has consequences and what once could have been love becomes a dark, newly painful obsession. Angst, sexual tension, obsession, violence, madness, very dark Aemond. ]
The story in this series is an alternate reality from the oneshot Stay and love, leave and die, in which Aemond reads the letters his niece has sent to him over the years. They are the same characters and it shows what would have happened between them − I have changed the background story from their childhood slightly for the sake of the plot.

Jace's presence in Harrenhal was making him furious – although he was staying in his chamber, offended apparently at the whole world, he was irritated by the very fact that it was unclear when he intended to return to Dragonstone. His wife noticed his sullen mood and, to his satisfaction, decided to speak with her brother. What he heard when she returned to their quarters, however, shocked him more than relieved him.
"What?" He asked, hearing that this fool intended to take Alys Rivers with him.
"He fucks her?" He sneered, raising his eyebrows in amusement. His wife sighed heavily, burying her face in her hand, exhausted.
"I don't know. He didn't refer to her as his mistress, just his relative. Which in our family, unfortunately, leaves a lot of room for interpretation, as you know, uncle." She muttered, stroking her slightly rounded belly as she walked slowly to the window. He involuntarily chuckled at her words, shaking his head.
One of the things he had treasured about her since childhood was the irony she was able to frame with her own characteristic gentleness.
"He was seeing her without your permission?" He asked lowly, looking down at his fingers. His niece sighed heavily.
"Yes."
"Are you going to leave this insult unanswered?"
"I don't have the strength for it, Aemond. Let him do what he wants. He plans to leave for Dragonstone tomorrow morning."
He hummed under his breath, spreading out comfortably in his chair, satisfied.
"Wonderful."
They both shuddered as one of the guards walked into his chamber without warning. The man bowed before them.
"What is it?" He asked coldly.
"Your Grace. We have come across the trail of Larys Strong."
He got up from his seat and nodded at the man to come closer, feeling his heart pounding like mad.
"Speak."
"Lord Strong was seen an hour's ride on horseback from Harrenhal. Someone noticed people moving around in the ruins of the old fortress at night and recognised a man limping on one leg among them." The man replied.
He pressed his lips together in contentment, thinking that the moment had arrived when he would finally be able to cut off the head of this viper and throw it to his wife at her feet.
"Assemble the troop. We leave at nightfall."
His wife watched from the sidelines as he and his commanders discussed how to plan their expedition.
He decided he would fly on Vhagar to raze Lord Strong to the ground.
"What if it's a trap? Doesn't that seem too easy to you?" She muttered uncertainly, stroking her lower abdomen in a nervous gesture with her trembling hand, looking up at him with her big eyes. He stared at her wordlessly, fastening the buckles of his leather coat, changing into his riding attire.
"I'm sure it's a trap. Nevertheless, it won't be much of one if I burn them alive." He hummed, grasping her face in his hands, placing a lingering, wet kiss on her forehead. He heard her swallow hard, stroking his shoulder.
"The fire won't reach him if he's hiding underground. Perhaps it would be better if I flew with you?"
Her suggestion made him boil with rage.
"I think you have completely lost your mind." He said coldly, his pupil narrowing dangerously in frustration.
"I will assign you my most trusted guards to look after our quarters. You are not to leave them until I return. Do you understand?" He asked drily, impatient.
She nodded her head.
His hands cupped her warm cheeks as he leaned in to place a comforting, tender kiss on her sweet lips, but he stopped in mid-motion when the door to his chamber opened.
He turned over his shoulder, frustrated, and saw Jace before his eyes. His nephew was breathing heavily, looking at him with wide eyes.
"I fly with you."
He snorted at his words, dropping his hands in a gesture of helplessness.
Gods, give me fucking patience, he thought.
"Don't make me laugh. Take your whore back where you came from, and get out of my sight." He growled, his wife lowered her gaze in horror and embarrassment. Her brother clamped his mouth shut at his words, furious.
"He wanted to kill my sister."
"Then stay with her and protect her as befits a man."
"I'm not going to stay here while you fight!" Jace exclaimed.
"So this is as always about your pride? Hm?" He hissed, dimly recalling the day he, Aegon and Luke had brought him a pig, finding it amusing that they could humiliate him so easily.
It was always about making him feel better at someone else's expense.
He walked towards him, towering over him, wanting to show him who was the rider of the greatest dragon in the world, who had the last word.
"You are our guest, nephew, and you are straining my patience. I tolerate you only for the sake of my wife and my child in her womb."
"My aunt saw a sea of blood in her dream. She thinks something is going to happen there. I want to take revenge on the man who tried to poison my little sister and her child. I ask you, uncle, to let me fly with you."
He looked at him for a moment, hesitating.
The witch's words made him feel uneasy and he didn't know what he thought about it himself.
"Aemond. Please." His wife mumbled, looking at him pleadingly, her fingers clenched on her stomach.
He licked his lips impatiently, sighed heavily and nodded.
The guard who had informed them of Lord Strong's location had shown his troop on the map where the fortress was, so he ordered his nephew to simply fly after him.
Soaring into the skies on the mighty Vhagar, he felt shivers, cold and discomfort running along his spine, some premonition and anxiety from which he was all tense and vigilant.
My aunt saw a sea of blood in her dream.
On the dragon's back they would have reached their destination faster than his soldiers, so they simply circled above them, adjusting their flight speed to maintain the effect of surprise.
After many minutes, he spotted a small, abandoned fortress, or rather its ruins, in the distance and pressed his lips together at the thought that fire couldn't do anything here – the stronghold was made of stone and they, according to his wife's words, were probably hiding underground.
They wasted no time and landed, heading inside immediately with they troop and torches – he ordered his soldiers to search thoroughly all the rooms of the fortress, himself with his nephew and his commanders descending into the underground, feeling the cold sweat on his back.
There were no signs of anyone's presence, the keep looked like it had been abandoned for years.
Something was wrong, he could feel it, and after a moment he heard the voice of one of the men behind him.
"Long live King Aegon!"
He only had time to turn around when he heard the sound of blades being drawn, one of the commanders swinging a dagger, intent on slitting his shocked nephew's throat. Jace lowered his torch, terrified, taking a few steps back.
"NO!" He shouted, furious, sliding his sword out, wanting to step in front of him and shield him, however, the other soldier stepped in his way.
"Do not protect this traitor, my Prince."
Without thinking about what he was actually doing, with one sweeping swish of his sword he decapitated the man, whose head fell with a loud thud to the ground. Not looking at his inert body, he rushed to the aid of his nephew, who drew his sword and tried to defend himself, pale and trembling with fear.
"UNCLE!" He called out in despair like a small child, trying to push one of his opponents away – there was something in his expression, in his dark eyebrows arched in terror and fear, in his bright eyes that reminded him of her.
He thought they resembled each other when he pushed him away and felt someone's dagger thrust into his back – he drew in a loud breath as he looked at his face full of disbelief, thinking he should have listened to her.
"NO!" He heard Jace shout, throwing himself towards him as he fell to his knees, his soldiers moved away, horrified, looking at him in disbelief.
"Gods, what have you done?" Shouted one of them, the other began to run away, followed by the others, throwing their torches to the ground, clearly afraid of what would befall them for what had happened.
The stab of that blade was not meant for him.
He clutched at his wound and hissed, feeling immense, burning pain, his warm blood beginning to run down his back. He heard the neighing of horses in the distance and then someone's screams as his nephew knelt beside him, trying to lift him up.
"– fuck – fuck,fuck,fuck,FUCK! –" Cursed Jace on the verge of crying, clamping his hand over his wound, trying to stop the bleeding.
He thought, breathing heavily, terrified and shocked that he would die here, abandon her even though he had promised himself he would never leave her again.
"– I want to see her face one more time –" He muttered in a trembling voice, afraid of what could come, afraid of death, afraid of what his family would do with her when he was gone.
If they believe it was Jace who killed him, that this was all a trap set for his life.
"– you'll, uncle – come on – just don't fall asleep –" Jace gasped, throwing his arm over his neck in an attempt to rise with him. He shuddered and drew in a breath as a stocky, bearded man rushed in, panting heavily, his palms in blood.
He looked at them with wide eyes as if he had seen a ghost, holding a torch in his hand.
"Good gods." He muttered.
He couldn't remember much of what happened next – he felt the man helping Jace lead him outside, all around him the screams of men being butchered like animals on the orders of the man who had come to their aid.
He felt it was getting harder and harder for him to keep his eyes open, his head was humming, warm blood running down his leg.
"– just a little more – don't fall asleep, uncle – don't fall asleep –" He heard Jace's voice as if in the distance.
He closed his eyelid, praying to the gods to protect his wife if they decided his time had come, to let her give birth to his child without pain, to let her see Essos as he had promised her.
He hissed loudly as someone picked him up and then began to pull him onto something rough – he felt someone slide him into the saddle, and then someone's figure sat behind him before rising into the sky a moment later, the crisp, chilly night breeze cooling his hot face.
"– don't fall asleep, uncle – hold on –" He heard his nephew's pleading voice and hummed sleepily under his breath, remembering her face.
When he closed his eyes, he saw her standing in front of him, terrified and flooded with tears then, when he lost his eye.
He felt a similar pain, though not in his face, and had trouble concentrating, her words seeming to him to be mere mumbles coming from afar.
"– I'm with you – you won't die – you won't die –"
He shuddered and opened his eyes, a loud hiss came from his throat as he felt a stinging, deep pain in his back. The sound he made woke up the person who was apparently lying next to him – she had risen, but in the darkness of the chamber he could not see her face, however, he immediately recognised her scent.
Vanilla.
"– Rhaenys –" He muttered, trying to lift his hand towards her, but he was unable to and it fell numbly to the bedding.
"– I am here, my beloved –" He heard her whisper beside him, her gentle, soft hand touching his hot cheek.
He sighed quietly, feeling a squeeze in his heart and throat at the thought that she was not disgusted by him, that she still loved him despite the fact that he would forever be crippled.
"– I knew you would come –" He said quietly, seeing her silhouette leaning over him as if through a mist, her puffy, moist lips placed a kiss on his forehead.
"– do you still want to marry me? –" He asked with difficulty, breathing hard, feeling that through the fever his eye were closing again, but he needed to hear it.
He needed to be sure that the great scar he would have on his face from now on and the absence of his eye did not cross him out as her future lover and husband.
Her figure froze, her thumb stroking his jaw.
"– uncle – we are married – I'm expecting your child –" She whispered in a trembling voice, gently grasping his wrist, guiding his hand to her slightly rounded lower abdomen.
He swallowed hard, furrowing his brow, and then looked at her, suddenly understanding, feeling tears burning under his eyelids, involuntarily smiling.
"– I have married you –"
"– yes, my love – I am your wife and you are my husband –" She said softly, leaning towards him, her sweet, moist lips pressed against his in a warm, tender kiss, from which his heart thumped harder in his chest.
"– you promised me that you would take me to Essos – you can't leave me now –" She mumbled out in a breaking voice, nuzzling her forehead against his, her gentle hands stroking tenderly his heated, sweaty cheek.
"– never, my sweetest – never –"
He whispered, feeling calm, and after a moment a quiet, warm darkness enveloped him.
When he woke up again, he was blinded by the brightness; he hissed and raised his hand, trying to cover his face. He heard someone get up from a chair and walk over to the bed, sitting down next to him on the sheets.
"– Aemond –" He heard his mother's voice and blinked, running his hand over his face, wondering if it was a dream. Her familiar fingers caught his wrist, squeezing it tightly, as if she needed to make sure he was really awake.
"– my son –" She muttered in a trembling voice. He lowered his hand and saw her face, pale and swollen from the tears she had clearly had to shed over his bed for days.
He could not remember what had happened and why he felt such a terrible pain in his back.
"– where am I? –" He choked out, sighing heavily, tilting his head back, feeling like his skull was about to burst.
"– in Harrenhal – you had a fever for days and were delirious –" She explained, taking his hand in hers, stroking it affectionately. "– I arrived as soon as I found out – Daemon is here too –"
He swallowed hard, memory after memory regaining his awareness of what had happened, Jace's terrified face and the blade stuck in his back.
Don't fall asleep, uncle.
He looked at her in horror, looking around.
"– where is Rhaenys? –" He asked, tense and concerned that she was not by his side, that perhaps someone was trying to hurt her while he lay in bed, unaware of anything. His mother furrowed her brow and shook her head.
"– who? –" She asked, as if she didn't understand what he meant.
He felt a cold sweat on his back at the thought that her silhouette lying by his side was merely a figment of his fever-ignited imagination.
"– my niece –" He muttered. His mother nodded, and it was only then that he realised that no one but him had called her by that name.
"– she sleeps – she stayed by your side for days and nights, but we feared it would harm both her and the baby – her brother persuaded her to rest –" She explained, stroking his hand with hers.
He closed his eyelid, feeling incredibly, wonderfully relieved at her words.
"What happened?"
His mother pressed her lips together, lowering her head.
"Your wife sent a letter to your brother-king. It appeared that Lord Strong, in consultation with your grandfather, wished to deprive Rheanyra of her two children and her dragons in one fell swoop. While Jace was to be murdered away from the fortress, your niece was to be abducted so that your grandfather could pact with you for you to join the war, but with the help of Alys Rivers she hid in her chamber."
He stared at her with wide-open eye, feeling a squeeze in his throat and discomfort in his stomach, a cold sweat running down his back.
Your niece was about to be abducted so that your grandfather could pact with you for you to join the war.
"They wanted Daemon and Rhaenyra to believe that it was you who betrayed them. That you had such a plan all along, to take revenge on her for your eye."
She whispered, looking at him with a sad, tired look.
Only after a moment did he realise that his mother's gown was black.
"Your brother-king sentenced my father to death."

Gone girl
Tumblr media
Give this man a break.
Summary: you basically triggered his abandonment issues
Warning: MDNI, smut, not sfw.
Sensual, smut, slow burn(I guess? I mean I tried so-)
English is not my first language, I apologize in advance for the grammatical and dictation mistakes.
Two whole months.
No, two months and 4 days to be exact. That's how many days you were gone. You left your resignation on Erwin's desk and left the scouts with no farewell. No one knew where you went to and no one was really concerned. After all, it wasn't unusual for scouts to quit.
No one except for Levi. At first, he was in denial, telling Erwin that he must look for you, that you wouldn't leave just like that and something was oddly off, what if someone forced you out? What if someone kidnapped you? The first few days were indescribable. He felt helpless, desperate and worried. Erwin would talk to him, tell him there was no reason for anyone to kidnap or threaten you, also Hange had seen you leave with your stuff packed in a suitcase in the middle of the night and you told them that you were leaving for a quiet life. He was heartbroken. You left without saying a word to him. He felt stupid for thinking he was special. He felt played and betrayed.
On one hand, he was relieved that you wouldn't be putting your life in danger anymore, that you were more likely to live a long and happy life. But on the other hand, why didn't you tell him? Wasn't he worthy of a proper farewell? Why wouldn't you at least write to him? He didn't admit it, but ever since you had left, he would check his mailbox every day. Desperately looking forward to a letter from you. On his days off, he would leave the HQ to the city, wishing to see you somewhere on a random street. How helpless and pathetic he felt, wandering around the crowded city all day long until his legs gave up. Yep, the legs that belonged to humanity's strongest soldier, the very legs that would be searching countless hours outside the walls would give up after almost 18 hours of walking and carrying the weight of this man's concern and despair. He felt like he lost his safe spot once again, his home, his lover.
He just needed to see you doing fine, that was all. He just wanted to make sure you were safe and sound. He swore to himself he wouldn't be mad or bitter if he saw you in a good state of health, he wouldn't yell and blame you for leaving him with no words. All because he couldn't help but feel like you were in danger.
He never gave up on searching for you but he didn't seem as concerned from outside after a while. To everyone, he was like his usual self again. However, he would be getting even less sleep, lose his temper even faster and barely eat.
One night he had the documents signed, read and summarised. Ready to be on Erwin's desk. He left his office for Erwin's only to find you there, in the corridor. His eyes were wide open in shock for a second and then his uninterested expression came back as he let out a loud sigh. "What the hell are you doing here?"
You remained speechless. You didn't really expect him to be this grumpy and oh if you only knew, he was controling himself. Otherwise you'd know "grumpy".
"I...I'm back."
"Changing your mind so easily is not like you." He was angry...furious yet so sad and also happy all at the same time. You left, you hurt him, made him feel like a fool and there you were standing in front of him looking prettier than ever, making him feel the butterflies in his stomach. You made him furious.
He wanted to cry and ask you why did you do that and selfishly beg you not to leave again, even for a quite less dangerous life. You made him sad.
But you were back! In one piece, you weren't dead and didn't seem to be injured(in a fata, serious way at least), he felt relieved. Your mere presence made him happy.
"I...wasn't really gone, Levi. I was sent to wall Sina for a secret mission. In order to steal some documents from the MP and gain information about their next move. I'm sorry I didn't tell you but that was Erwin's wish."
Betrayal after betrayal. How dare you all? How dare Erwin take away what was his and convince him she was the unfaithful one? He was just about to storm into Erwin's office and give that bastard a lesson when he felt your arms around his waist and your face buried in his neck.
"I missed you..." you mumbled and it crashed his soul because he could hear in your voice how broken you were. "It was a long nightmare...and you weren't there...I'm so sorry I couldn't tell you about the mission."
Your grip on his body tightened, he could feel your tears moistening his neck leaving it warm and wet. All of that anger gave its place to sympathy.
"I...was really worried. I never disobeyed his orders why would he do this to me?" Levi asked, almost whispering.
"He thought...it would be better for my cover if you were unaware, you know. "
"That's stupid. What about Hange? Did they know?"
"No...they didn't."
You remained quiet in his arms for a while with his hands brushed against your hair. "I missed you too...I was worried sick but ...you're back to me..."
Back to me, back in my arms. My love, my angel, pretty girl. I love you so much.
His words in his mind sounded so different from what he actually said. "You idiot. Don't ever do that again." He pulls you out of his arms to cup your soft face with his calloused rough hands. Giving you the luxury of his soft glare. "Let's go to my room. Erwin can wait for his documents after fucking me up like this. "
*
It didn't take long for him to take you to his room, pin you down on the bed and your soft lips. He couldn't get enough, forcing his tongue into your mouth as his hands travelled from your hair to your face and then went lower on your delicate neck. Hell, only if you and him met under different circumstances, you'd make the perfect wife for him with your grace and inner beauty. How much he wished for a quiet life with you in the countryside, but that was no option right now. At this moment the most he could get from you was this. Sticking his tongue basically in your throat, swirling around yours while gripping your hip with one hand your breasts with the other. He needed to breathe, but he could still hold on. He wanted to waste no second of having you. (even on catching his breath)
Until he felt your hands on his chest, pushing him away to catch breath, you were a panting mess. Your hair all out of place, covered in sweat and blush all over your face. Oh, how much he missed seeing you like this.
He started unbuttoning your shirt, exposing your body. He moaned only by the sight of it and had his lips on your clothed nipples. The friction and the dampness from his saliva gave you a delicious tease. You deserved this; be teased. A marciful punishment from Captain Levi, for putting him through hell and back. Yes, you had no control over it, but in a way, you did.
He moved back on your neck, making sure your neck would be covered in hickeys that looked like a beautiful amethyst necklace around your neck.
"L...let me kiss your neck too."
"No. You don't get to touch me unless I say so."
How cruel of him. "B...but I missed you, let me show y...you baby. How much I m...missed you."
You had a silver tongue that almost got Levi. Almost. But he stood on his ground. "Bad girls don't get their wishes met."
You moaned in desperation but knew better than to talk back. He was impatient and didn't even waste time undoing your bra (which he always had difficulty with) instead he ripped it off. You were surprised by his action, never had seen him like this. He had always been so...reserved but now he just tore the strap of your bra and invaded your breasts. Spitting on them and smearing them on your breasts, pinching your nipples until you begged him to move on to the actual business, only to get a hard smack on them. He then leaned on you and bit them red and hot. The bite marks were gonna last a day or two on your skin. His mouth ran all over your upper body from up to down until it reached your skirt. He smirked. Pulling the waistband down with his teeth halfway, he got up to pull the rest with his hands and get the full view of you from above.
You were so pretty, all flushed and helpless under him, naked. He could still torture himself a little more by making you wait longer.
"Did you touch yourself when you were gone?"
The embarrassment on your face was visible, you hid your face behind your forearms as you nodded. "Speak! Cat ate your tongue?"
"I did." He grabbed your wrists and pinned them on each side of your head. "Look at me when I talk to you, dove. Now answer me again. I'm running out of patience and I might as well leave you like this."
"N...no, please...that's right, I touched myself."
He guided one of your hands to your pussy. "Do it again. Show me how you would do it and tell me every naughty idea in that pretty head of yours."
You wanted to protest, to tell him you had enough of your fingers in the past two months, what you needed was him, but he had already threatened you to leave and your mind was too filled up with lust to think properly so you obeyed him.
Pushing one finger in, your mouth was open in an O shape. Digging in deeper and deeper. "I...would always th...think about y...you."
"Elaborate."
"I ...think about your handsome face...between my thighs and...your red lips on...my clit."
"Is that all you wish for?"
"N...no...I craved for your cock ...but the reality hit me every time that my fingers were not enough...I missed your fingers and cock in me, I missed the way your tongue flicks in me ...please..."
"Add another finger, now."
You swallowed and obeyed, adding another finger and searching for that spot, speeding up while having your eyes locked into his. He knew you found it when you inhaled sharply and moaned.
"Am I allowed to?" You whispered. "Cum all over your fingers. Make a mess." He leaned and kissed your forehead as you were getting yourself off. Then moved on to your ears and whispered "Beg for me." Then he tugged your earlope with his teeth.
"Please! Levi, I want you. Nothing is e...enough compared to you! Please I beg you!"
As you were begging, he noticed how your knees started to shiver, implying you were close. He let out a cruel, evil and short laugh as he grabbed your wrist and pulled your fingers out. You felt empty all of a sudden after being so close.
You looked so confused which he found out so cute. "B..but you said I was allowed."
"And you had promised to never leave me yet you left me for 2 fucking months! Do you think I'm that kind to let you have it all so easily now? Oh princess, it's a punishment if you haven't noticed already. Now get on all fours."
The unbuttoned shirt, though exposed your body and gave Levi as easy access, was still on. You had no intention of taking it off completely but once you did as he had said, you felt his hands were just about to tug up the shirt.
"N...no...I want the shirt on, please."
Levi was confused, it wasn't as if there was something underneath the cloth he hadn't seen already, he loved this position cause he could run his fingertips on your spine and make you shiver and moan.
So of course, curiosity and selfishness got the best of him and despite your request, he tugged it up anyway only to see several new scars on your back. They weren't deep but they implied you had been attacked during the mission. His heart sank. You looked so vulnerable and he just wanted to take good care of you, make you feel good and safe in his arms once again. Who did this? Who fucking dared to do this? When did this happen? Probably one of those nights that Levi was awake, thinking to himself how cruel you were for leaving him like that. How could he judge you and doubt you so easily? He felt like a piece of garbage.
"Is it that bad?" Your voice brought him back to the room from his thoughts. You were looking at him with half of your face pinned on the mattress. "It's not half bad. I was just thinking how to kill the bastard who did this to you."
"Hmm...so sexy when you talk about killing people while we're being intimate. Don't worry they're dead already."
He ran his finger on the old scars. Most of them were small but there was a huge one on your left shoulder blade which was continued to your waist on the right side.
As he was caressing the scar, he asked "Why you wanted to hide them?"
"They are not the prettiest accessories on me and also, didn't wanna concern you."
He frowned. How could you say that? You were soldiers, scars weren't uncommon. He had more than a few on himself which you found sexy. But you didn't see them that way for yourself.
"I actually think they're matching to mine." Levi said.
He leaned on your back, leaving wet kisses on every single one of them. You shivered and he smirked in satisfaction.
His attitude slightly changed, he just wanted to take care of you. Clearly, you'd had it rough already.
His cock was killing him, it's been hard from the start of the session yet he managed to endure it. As you were fully naked in front of him with your shirt gone, he was fully clothed. He unbuttoned his shirt in no time and unzipped his pants, pulling them down with the underwear and taking them all off. He grabbed his cock, swirling the tip around your already wet entrance. You moaned loudly "Don't tease me anymore!" He could hear the pouting in your voice. No smile appeared on his lips but his eyes softened.
His tip, already wet by precum, made its way through your hole. With no rush and slowly, he was halfway in. You were sucking him in so willingly it was as if your body was telling him how much you missed his touch.
He pushed a little further and was now fully in you, filling you up nicely. Your delightful moans sounded like angels singing to his ears. Oh how much he missed you.
"Y...you can move, Levi."
He grabbed you gently by the throat, adding no pressure. Just pulling you closer to himself until your scarred back met his chiselled chest. Once he had your head backed on his shoulder, he left no time to start kissing it so gently. Eventually, he started to move inside you back and forth.
"Ngh...I missed you, Levi."
His hands were on your nipples now, pinching and playing with them. He whispered in your ear "You have no idea how much I wanted you back by my side."
His arms wrapped around your shoulders as he paced up his movement in you. He bit back his moans just to hear yours as he was hitting that spot in you. Your mouth hung open while you were seeing the stars and moaned uncontrollably. As much as he loved hearing them, you were getting louder and louder so he pushed to fingers into your mouth. "Keep it...down...fuck."
Once again, your knees were shivering, if Levi didn't have a grip on you, you'd fall on the bed. Yet, you ran your hand through his hair at the back of yours, pulling it a little. "You fucking tease."
You were both close, Levi took his fingers out of your mouth and started massaging your clit with them. His nubs rubbed against your needy clit which had been begging for attention. He started drawing ghostly circles and little by little, his moves became faster and rougher. You were almost there.
"L...Levi! I'm...close..please..."
"Cum for me baby. I mean it this time."
In less than a second, you made a mess on his cock. He fucked you through your orgasm. Wanted to fill you up so badly. His cock was twitching in you, he almost couldn't believe he was feeling your hot gummy walls around himself again, shaping your insides like his cock.
His grip on you tightened and you knew by then he was going to fill you up in no time. He let out a loud, sexy moan while he shot his seeds in you. You felt so warm inside, he didn't pull out until he fully emptied whatever he had in you and softened.
You were both panting. He slowly pulled out and you felt the cum dripping down your thigh. Your skin was still red and burning from his thrusts. He laid down naked on the bed waiting for you to lay next to him.
"Where are the papertowles? Your blanket it gonna get ruined."
He rolled his eyes at you, the clean freak couldn't care less at this moment he just wanted his lover next to him. He grabbed you by the shoulder and pushed you on the pillow next to him. "I have to wash them anyway." He said.
His eyes were locked to yours once again. Tucking your hair behind your ear which was all red now. He grabbed your hand and held it tightly, brought it close to his lips and left a few kissed on it as he was watching you.
"Don't ever do that shit again."
You smiled, you didn't say anything. It hurt to see him like this, you knew how much you hurt him by leaving without telling him but you were unaware of this. You had no idea he would be this devastated. Perhaps you underestimated his love which made you feel so bad about yourself. Still, you knew you would do this again if Erwin commanded so. You knew there was no place left for emotional bonds in the army yet you fell for Levi. This is the cost of following your heart, to get hurt willingly only to follow orders.
But screw Erwin and screw humanity at this moment you just wanted to have Levi's head on your chest again.
You pulled him close, he rested his head on your chest as you wished as you nuzzled his head. He could probably get some proper sleep in this state after a very long time. He felt his eyelids getting heavy and before he knew it, he was snorting in your arms.
What a day to be alive.

KIM SUNOO — "So that's how you're going to be." You mumbled, as you stared in envy at the woman beaming at Sunoo, who was reciprocating her action. Later, he found you giggling with the shop assistant who just happened to be male. "Of course I'll take your phone number." You giggled, exposing your dimple as you smiled at him. Sunoo's face twitched as he forced up a smile mixed with confusion and irritation.
Sliding his hand around your waist, he smiled at the shop assistant who had been writing down his phone number on paper for you to take. "Hi Sunoo," You smiled, biting back "Meet my new friend." Exclaiming in excitement, you watched as he forced a smile to be happy for you. "Hi, new friend. I'm Sunoo, her boyfriend. So nice to meet you." You watched your play unfold as the shop assistant stared begrudgingly at your boyfriend who had been eyeing him since he arrived. Wordlessly, he dragged you out of the store and into the car, driving silently. Still without a word, he pulled you into the house, setting himself on the bed and pressing you down on his lap. "Talk." He started, demanding an answer from your behaviour. "Says you who was basically eye-cheating on me with that woman." You retorted, irritated by his low EI. He was quiet for a minute until he began tease you about your possessiveness. "You wanted to make me jealous, didn't you?" He teased, pinching your cheeks and watching you get even more irritated. "I hate you so much." You murmured. Still finding it amusing that you tried to make him jealous, he pressed a peck on your pouty lips. "Let's watch a movie you want so you can feel better." ✶ more under the cut !
YANG JUNGWON — You stared at your phone which was blowing up with Weverse notifications of your boyfriend who had hung up the phone because he was busy but was really replying to dozens of engenes at once. On a normal day, you found his interactions cute, watching how he expressed his love to his fans. Logging into your account, you began spamming the angry emojis, knowing very well that he could see them as he knew your account username. Getting the hint, he rang your phone, spam sending you 'What's wrongs'.
"Why are you calling? I thought you were busy." You answered, trying to act indifferent, but hiding a smile behind the shield of your phone. "Sorry. Do you want me to reply to your angry emojis?" You pulled a face at his cheekiness as you could hear his grin through his voice. "Just go reply to your fans, who you're clearly dating." The sarcasm laced in your voice caused his grin to turn into a chuckle. "I should do this more often. It's cute when you're jealous." Huffing, you replied, "Whatever. Just come over and give me a kiss and maybe I'll forgive you." Seconds later, he was at your door as though he was waiting for you to say the words. Smiling, popped your head out of the door, pretending to be angry. "You're not going to let me in?" He questioned, his dimple pressing into his cheek. You shook your head. Given the height difference, he leaned down, his figure blocking your view from everything else. Between your thought process, he pressed a soft kiss on your lips. "Are you sure?" He teased, not giving you any time to reply by his continuous kisses. Pushing him away, you peppered his face with kisses, staining his face with lip gloss. Ruffling his hair, you turned him around. "Go brag to the engenes about how you have the best girlfriend ever." "Will you forgive me then?" Struggling to hide the grin on your face, you hummed.
NISHIMURA RIKI — "Why aren't you talking?" He pestered while you scrolled through his clips from the recent fan meet. "If you want to talk to someone, go to that girl you interlocked fingers with and stared at with your beady eyes." You retorted. At his lack of reply, you turned to look at him, who was staring at you with a massive grin on his face. "Are you jealous?" Glaring, you nodded and stood up, letting him bask in his pride.
Following after you, the boy let out a teasing 'Baby', before wrapping his arms around your waist demanding that you say it again. "Say it again." He teased grinning at your irritation. "I hate you." Was your reply as his grin broadened. "You just love me so much, don't you?" Your fake irritation was running out as you bit back a grin. His height towered over you as he tried to meet your eyes, pressing kisses on your cheeks in a teasing manner. He would tease you about it for days, proud that his girlfriend was being possessive over him. "Will you ever shut up about this?" You questioned as his weight crushed you as he wrestled you into the bed after his shower. "If you admit you were jealous, I will." Knowing his personality, you knew he was never going to let it go. "I was jealous. Happy?" He giggled into your neck, his breath tickling your collarbone. "I hate you for this." You grinned, breaking into fits of laughter as he tickled you, ending it off with a kiss. "I love you more." He replied.

I'd Wait For You
Tumblr media
Summary: Everything is perfect between you and Suguru. It could not get any better. The universe has a funny way of doing things though. How do you cope once Suguru gets taken away from you? Will Suguru be able to move onto the afterlife, or will he stay by your side? A/N: I wanted to try my hand at writing angst. Haven't done it too much. Please ignore the inaccuracies of the medicine, it won't be perfect. Comments always appreciated!

Suguru hadn’t known love until he first met you.
Everything that led up to you was somehow minuscule compared to the emotions that coursed through his veins whenever he saw you. He wasn’t aware of how fast a heart could beat, how his lungs could falter from merely being in the presence of another person. He wasn’t even quite sure what he’d done to achieve someone like you. We were made for each other, you always told him. In his opinion, he believed he was made for you. Crafted and designed to love you. Not because you needed to have someone like him, but because he needed someone like you. Someone to care for and love.
It was your birthday, and just like he had done every year before this, Suguru was planning on making your dinner. He liked doing it, it made him feel like he was doing something right. It was the least he could do for you, after everything you’ve done for him. He thinks you don’t even know the half of it.
“Shit.” Suguru murmurs under his breath as he searches the freezer. He could have sworn he bought the meat for tonight, but it was nowhere to be found.
“Did you find it yet?” He hears your voice call from the couch.
He doesn’t really have the heart to tell you that no, he hadn’t found it. His lip twitches as he pushes aside all the useless ingredients, looking in places he had already checked three times over.
Suguru is so focused on the fridge in front of him that he doesn’t even hear your feet padding into the kitchen.
Tender hands wrap around him from behind, yanking him from his despair. When he looks over his shoulder he sees you behind him, peeking over with curious eyes.
“I'm sorry baby.” He speaks quietly, turning around to the fridge again.
He shuts the freezer and faces you, taking you into his arms. It’s nice like this, having you pushed up against him. It makes him feel like he’s protecting you.
“What’re you sorry for?” You ask.
You reach your hands up and place a palm on either side of his face. Your mouth drops open as you hold him.
“Suguru, you’re freezing.” You scold. “How long were you looking in there?”
He hadn’t realized how cold he was until your warm fingers pressed into his cheek. He nuzzles against you and allows his lids to flutter closed, indulging in the warmth you provide.
“Only a little bit.” He says. He would rather die than tell you he’s been here for ten minutes.
“No luck though, huh?” You don’t seem sad when you ask this, and Suguru can’t figure out why.
He feels like he ruined your birthday.
“Unfortunately no, but I’m gonna go head down to the store to pick it up. I shouldn’t be gone long.”
“I don’t want you to go, though!”
You have an exaggerated frown playing on your lips as you tug his arm.
“Baby, you need food. I promise it’ll be-“
“Why don’t we go out to eat?” You propose.
He’s looking at you with raised brows, watching partly in amusement. It wasn’t an awful idea, but he much rather preferred to cook for you himself. It was like a gift that way, although he bought you plenty of those too. He nearly felt giddy at the idea of how you would react to each present, all hiding in various places around the house. You always told him he didn't have to get you anything, so he had to get creative in his hiding spots.
“What, you hate my cooking?” He jokes, pulling back to straighten your clothes.
At first you would snap at him when he mindlessly groomed you like this, but you had gotten used to it. It was just another avenue for him to show his love, fixing your attire like a mother would.
“Ugh, it’s the worst!” You joke back.
Both of you were well aware of how much you loved his cooking.
“A shame.” He murmurs.
“We never go out, it’s been ages since we’ve gone somewhere nice. Don’t you think it would be fun? That way, you wouldn’t have to slave over the stove for me.”
“But what if I want to slave over the stove for you?”
“There will always be another time.” You squeeze his arm.
You’re right. He can always do it for you for your next birthday.
“If you say so.” Suguru presses his lips against yours.
~~~
It’s a chilly night, the black sky above you providing no heat as you head out of the restaurant. You’re cradling your stomach as if you were 8 months pregnant, while one of your arms is wrapped around his. You’re chattering his ears off, but Suguru doesn’t mind. The night felt perfect, he wasn’t sure how it could get any better.
The two of you are making your way to your parked car, not in a rush. You have all the time in the world. You’re strumming his hand as you talk, only letting go when he pulls your door open for you.
Suguru crosses the car and slides into the driver's seat, not backing out until your seat belt is on. The drive is calming, your windows rolled down to let in the night air as you quietly sing along to the radio.
“Was it a good birthday?” Suguru asks, tossing a look your way before focusing on the road.
“It was perfect.” You promise, your eyes twinkling.
Suguru starts to think about which gift he wants you to open first.
“Hey Suguru?” You ask.
“Yeah?” Suguru looks up from the wheel to see your face.
Your brows are furrowed together as you look forward. Something wasn’t right.
“What is that guy doing?” You speak quietly.
Suguru turns his head forward, his foot on the brake as the car sits at a red light. There’s another car in front of you, driving towards you. He isn’t slowing down for the light, and Suguru can feel his pulse pick up.
“I don’t-“ Suguru starts.
The driver presses on the gas even harder, his car jerking, now hurdling in your direction. Suguru only has half a second to throw his arm across your front, shoulder covering part of your body.
Love makes you do crazy things.
Love can make you feel unstoppable.
Love can make you cover your partner in a car accident without a second thought.
The movies never get it right, Suguru thinks. People always talk about the pain, how much it hurts. But Suguru doesn’t feel pain. He doesn’t feel anything. He wishes it was more accurate, that way he could have been prepared.
It was loud, so loud.
Metal on metal, tires screeching. It also smelled. Gas, fire, and burning something. Was it plastic? He had never smelled something so atrocious. Suguru turns his head to locate you and sees you motionless, your beautiful lids fluttered shut. Is that blood? Something’s reflecting on your forehead and he hopes to god it’s not blood.
He attempts to say your name, but nothing comes out. It’s as if his voice box has been completely removed, leaving a gaping hole in his throat. His fingers twitch as he tries to move to help you.
Move, move.
He’s begging his useless body to do something, anything. It’s never cooperated with him, lest of all when he needs it most.
Suguru thinks he hears yelling. Was that a woman? It’s a voice he’s never heard before, and she’s saying something he can’t quite decipher. His head is spinning as he tries to focus on the voice, but it isn't easy. It's all becoming overwhelming, each of his senses being amplified. The sight and sound alone was enough to leave him breathless.
Red lights.
Cops.
No, not cops.
An ambulance.
He hopes it’s an ambulance. You really needed one.
Suguru tries to focus as he strains his ears to listen for your breathing. He could feel his eyelids get heavier and heavier, his sheer willpower being the only thing keeping him awake. There’s more tires screeching and the ambulance has arrived, heavy footfalls running to your car.
Good.
Good.
Help is here.
It would all be alright.
Everything would be fine.
~~~
When his eyes open, he sees white. He must have been in a hospital, the clinical setting surrounding him. No one was in his room. Not even you. You were in worse shape from what he remembers, so he understands.
He isn’t in as much pain as he would’ve expected from being in a car accident, but he’s glad. Suguru looks down and wiggles his fingers, then his toes. Good. He isn’t missing anything. He knows you would’ve taken care of him if he was missing something, but he would rather soon die than make you do something like that.
Suguru sits up and notices he isn’t attached to any monitors, which is odd. He figures he probably didn’t need them though, so he quickly pushes the thought aside. He might as well look for you since he was able. You could have been really hurt, and he wouldn’t have been able to rest until he learned where you were.
The hospitals halls are a scary place, even for Suguru. He knows many great things happen in hospitals, but there’s also a lot of tragedy too. He tries not to think about all the death as he walks down the halls. There are nurses and doctors pushing past him, paying him no mind. They were busy. He could see it in their droopy eyes as they locate room numbers and run to codings.
He finds the nurses station and speaks up, finding two women sitting at the desks.
“Excuse me?” He says.
Nothing.
Weird.
“Uh, I’m looking for someone.”
Suguru says your name, but neither of them turn to him.
Okay, maybe they were too engrossed in their conversation.
His eyes flick down where he sees a chart, and at the very top of the list was your name. Room A93. That wasn’t too far from here.
He spares them one last glance before turning around to locate your room. His heart flutters (not in the good way) when he gets closer to the door. Could he handle seeing you hooked up to a million monitors? Could he handle seeing other people take care of you? Suguru pushes through it. He needs to see you. He comes to a stop outside your room and hears voices coming from inside, talking to you.
“And where is Suguru?” He picks up on your voice, the sound instantly warming his heart.
“He’s… not in good shape.”
He wasn’t?
He felt great.
Suguru pokes his head around the door and finds a tall woman with tanned skin and long dark hair. She must be the doctor.
“What do you mean?” You ask.
The doctor straightens, tired eyes looking up at you.
“He was intubated, he lost a lot of blood and sustained a head injury. My team had to put him in a medically induced coma. I actually was coming here to talk to you about whether or not he wanted to be on life support.”
What?
“I'm sorry, what are you talking about?” Your body is turned towards her, anticipation leaking from your pores.
“You’re married, aren’t you? I trust that the two of you have gone over it?”
You haven't looked his way, not even once.
“Let me see him.” You’re sitting up, wobbling as your frail body attempts to hold you up.
You don’t see him right now?
“I'm not sure that’s a good idea.” The doctor comments, her voice heavy as if she knows something you don’t.
“Please.”
The doctor softly sighs and dips her head once, acknowledging your desperation. She relents, aiding you in getting up. You can’t do it on the first try, your face wincing in pain as you ease yourself off the bed. The doctor is patient as she helps you, because of course she is.
Suguru follows you to his room, throat dry as he stares at the IV stand in your hands. What was happening?
“Suguru?” His heart shatters at the way your voice cracks.
He turns the door and comes to a halt behind you, looking over your shoulder. He was looking at himself. His motionless body was laying in the hospital bed, looking more helpless than he had ever felt in his whole life.
“What happened?” You ask, your eyes never leaving his bed.
“There was an accident. I was told that he took the brunt of the crash to cover you. He’s not…” The doctor looks anxiously between you and him. “I don’t think he’s going to make it.”
The room is quiet, eerily so as you process the news the doctor gave you. There’s a steady beeping sound coming from behind his body, the only sign of life. By all accounts, he looked dead. Suguru flicks his eyes up and notices a brain monitor attached to him, but the line was flat. How was that possible? Was he in some space between life and death right now?
You rip the IV from your arm and run up to the bed, collapsing beside his body. Suguru can see blood begin to pool from your forearm, dark red trickling down your wrist as you force yourself against his bed.
“Suguru! Wake up!” You’re shaking his body, voice trembling and loud as tears begin to fall from your eyes.
He doesn’t wake up. His useless body doesn’t even flinch.
“You asshole! Wake up!” You’re in hysterics as you shake him, and Suguru feels himself choke on a tear.
“We need to discuss-“ The doctor starts.
“Don’t do this to me! You gotta wake up!”
Suguru is beside you now, standing above your crumbled form. You’ve never looked so small before. Your tears are staining the sheets beside his body as you hold his hand, your other arm clawing at his chest. Suguru can’t tell which hurts more, watching himself or looking at you.
He needs to comfort you.
He needs to make you smile.
But he can’t. He can’t do anything. Suguru is forced to stand by your side as you cry until you lose your voice, until all of your words blur together and no one can understand what you’re saying.
The doctor stays with you the entire time, remaining quiet as you sob. She wanted to comfort you, but she also needed an answer. And the truth of the matter was, Suguru never wanted to be on life support. It was a discussion you had early on in your marriage. He didn't want to be a burden. You respected his decision at the time, never in a million years thinking you would have to uphold his choice.
~~~
It’s raining the day they pull the plug on Suguru. He always did like the rain. It made for perfect nights in with a warm drink and his favorite book. Obviously with you by his side. That’s not what he’s thinking about when he sees the sky the day he dies. All he can think about is how your tears match the droplets, how god must be crying for you. He hated it. You said it was fitting. It was one of the only things you said on that day.
Suguru watches as his body gets whisked away, he told himself he couldn’t watch the embalming process, but when it happens he can’t look away. It felt unreal. His body was cold to the touch, pale as it lay on the metal table. He didn't look real. He watches with curious eyes as they pump him full of fluids in an attempt to immortalize his youth and beauty. He overhears the morticians talking. Not even thirty years old, they mumble. All Suguru can think about is how you weren’t even thirty. The word ‘widow’ was meant for older people whose partners died in natural circumstances, not for someone like yourself. Plump cheeks and a full life ahead of you.
It’s sunny when his funeral is held. He’s glad for that, he dreaded the idea of you waiting out in the cold. You sit in the front with Satoru. Suguru expected you to be a wreck, you were at the hospital after all. But you aren’t. You sit quietly as each person speaks, your chin tucked into your chest. Your eyes are glassy as you listen. You were checked out. He wanted to take a peek into your brain to see what memory you were reliving. Was it the time you both vacationed in the Bahamas? Or was it when you talked for hours about your favorite book? Those were his favorite memories, but he didn't know yours. He never thought to ask before. Now he wouldn’t have the chance to.
You refuse to let anyone help you make it home, I’m fine you said. You weren’t fine. Anyone with a pair of eyes could see that. All the people surrounding you tried to offer words of comfort, promises to help falling from their lips. You wave them off as you set off down the sidewalk towards your apartment. You hadn’t been in a car since the incident.
The second you close your front door you collapse onto your floor, your knees hitting the ground with a hard thud. You let out the most ear piercing wail. Suguru didn’t know people were capable of making noises like that. He didn’t have a body anymore, but he swore he felt chills creep over his skin.
You keep screaming, and screaming, and screaming. Suguru hears a loud pounding and turns his head to the door. Someone was here. The pounding resumes and he hears his best friend call out, trying to get your attention. You aren’t listening. You don’t care about anything outside these four walls.
Satoru twists the knob hoping by some miracle it would unlock. Unfortunately, you had the foresight to lock the door before falling to pieces. Satoru relents in using the knob and tries bumping the door with his shoulder. It takes him a couple of tries before it splinters open. He's out of breath as he looks down at your figure. Your crumpled figure.
Leave it to Satoru to follow you to ensure you got home safely. Suguru tells himself to repay Satoru, buy him that soda he likes, but then he remembers. He will never be able to repay him for anything again.
He hopes a token of his gratitude is enough.
You don’t register that Satoru is even there until he’s kneeling beside you, holding your body close to his. You thrash a bit, shoving him back but he doesn’t budge. Satoru takes it all, even though it hurts.
“Hey, hey, I’m here.” He murmurs quietly to you.
“He's gone! He's gone!” You’re heaving into the air, letting him rock you back and forth.
“I know. I know.”
“He's never coming back, Satoru!”
You breathe in deeply, your chest sore from the meltdown.
“Bring him back! Please, please Satoru!”
Satoru grits his jaw as he holds you tight. It must be hard. Suguru mourns the loss of himself through you. He can feel the pain you’re in, it feels like a forest fire as it claws into him.
You’re scratching at Satoru, as if you could dig your way back to Suguru.
Suguru has never felt so helpless before. How do you help someone when they’re mourning the loss of the love of their life? How do you console them when they will never see them again? How could he make you feel better?
He can’t do anything. He's an outsider in his own home, watching the people who were closest to him.
Satoru grips you as you sob, occasionally rocking your frame back and forth. He doesn’t say anything. There really isn't anything to say. The living room quiets down as your screaming becomes sniffling. Suguru doesn’t know how much time has passed. Satoru refuses to let go until he feels your breathing slow down, your body going limp in his hold.
Satoru never leaves. He just sets you on your bed before making his way to the couch. He looks just as fucked up as you do. Suguru doesn’t think he’s ever seen his friend in such a bad state before. Eyes that had previously been so bright were now dull, his lips tugged down into a deep frown. Satoru slides onto the couch, his eyes shutting the second he makes contact.
Suguru takes turns watching the two of you sleep. It breaks his heart. Never again will he feel the warmth of your sleeping figure beside him. Never again will he wake up before you to start your breakfast.
Things are awkward between you and Satoru in the morning. Neither of you know how to approach the subject.
Satoru is the first to talk. He always was the talker.
“Good morning.”
Your eyes flick to him, almost as if you were expecting him to stay the night. Satoru looks uncomfortable, which is a first.
“I uh, I'm gonna pick up breakfast. Do you want anything?” He goes on.
A moment passes before you speak. When your voice comes out it's brittle, harsh in a way Suguru has never heard before.
“I'm fine.”
The hours of screaming must have caught up to you.
“Yeah, alright.”
Satoru is scratching the back of his neck, a tell that Suguru learned years ago. He has something to say, but doesn’t know how to say it.
“I really think you should eat something.”
“Satoru.”
Satoru steps back as if the tone of your voice wounded him.
“Okay. I’ll back off. I’ll bring back something for you to drink at least.”
Satoru doesn’t ask so you don’t have the chance to deny him. You watch as he exits your apartment, your gaze fixed on your broken door.
Satoru calls repairmen to handle the door while he’s out. It doesn’t take them long at all to fix the damage he dulled out the prior night.
When Satoru comes back he has two drinks and two bags in his hands. He bought something for you to eat in the end. Satoru rings the doorbell and waits for you.
You never come.
He knows you’re home, because where else would you be?
He stands there for thirty minutes before he takes the hint that you don’t want to be seen.
Suguru wishes he could curl up in on himself at the sight of his best friend looking so dejected as he leaves. Satoru was making an effort. Suguru doesn’t blame you though. He never could. If he was in your position, Suguru wouldn’t stop until the whole world around him was burned to the ground, he wouldn’t stop until there was nothing left.
Satoru comes back hours later to drop off dinner and notices that the bag of breakfast he left for you is still in the same place. You hadn’t touched it. He leaves dinner for you as well, hoping by some chance that you’ll actually eat something.
~~~
Satoru stands at your door, a bag in his hands as he tries to keep up a smile. Suguru can tell it’s a hard task, he’s always been able to look right through his best friend.
It had been two weeks since the funeral, and Satoru has stopped by every single day.
Satoru says your name again, rocking back on his heels. He’s been here for two hours. Suguru knows because he’s seen him check his phone five times. One of your neighbors comes out and greets Satoru, smiling once he gives her attention. The two had been acquainted because he had visited so often. Satoru didn’t mean to seduce the older woman, but it just came with the territory of being a beautiful man.
“Hey Ms. Nakamoto!”
“Hello sweetie.”
“I brought you something.” Satoru searches the bag he’s holding and produces a wrapped piece of chocolate.
Suguru knows Satoru didn’t bring it for her, but that he couldn't bear the thought of not giving her something.
“You’re so kind, Satoru.” Ms. Nakamoto squeezes Satoru’s shoulder before walking off, popping the chocolate in her mouth.
Satoru watches her leave with a smile plastered on his face. It feels genuine in the same way a waitress's smile is genuine when she’s working.
“Are you gonna let me in?” Satoru calls, resting his shoulder against the door.
You’re standing on the other side of the door, staring into the wood as if you’d be able to see Satoru if you look hard enough.
Suguru doesn’t understand why would don’t want to see Satoru.
He wonders if it’s because Satoru reminds you of him. Suguru would understand, the two have always been inseparable. It was never that way for you, though. You never saw Satoru and thought of Suguru in the past. It was one of the many things he liked about you. He felt like he could be his own person around you. He wonders if the lines are blurred now that he was gone.
“I know you’re there.” Satoru says, leaning against his forearm.
“Why won’t you let me in?” He waits for a moment until you respond.
“I don’t want to.”
“I brought snacks.”
“I don’t care.”
Suguru’s heart breaks. You look like a mess, your hair was piled on top of your head and you were wearing the same clothes you had been wearing yesterday, and the day before that, and the day before that. It was one of Suguru’s shirts, the clothing wrapped around your body as if it was a cocoon. You had been wearing it for so long that the smell of his cologne was starting to fade away. You cried for four hours the night you realized.
Neither of you talk or move for that matter, intent on waiting it out to see who would break first. You have something on your mind, Suguru can tell you’re holding back.
“Why did he do it?” You ask, your voice muffled through the door.
You know Suguru as much as Satoru does, but Suguru supposes there’s a sense of relief from the company.
“You know why he did it. He loved you.” Satoru responds, his voice more level than Suguru had ever heard it.
“He wouldn’t have been able to stand himself if he didn’t save you.” Satoru finishes.
You and Satoru both turn around and slide your backs against the door till your butts hit the floor.
You’re separated by a piece of wood, yet it feels like you’re miles away. Even though you felt so far apart, the two of you were the only ones on the planet who understood each other.
“He’s selfish.” You say, and Suguru thinks you mean to have a bite to it, but it comes off much more heartbroken.
“What makes him selfish?”
“He wouldn’t have been able to live with himself if he let me die, so he’s making me live without him instead. Why didn’t he care that it would hurt me?” You question.
Satoru’s silent as he listens. He’s good at that, although he talks a lot. Suguru is glad you have someone to talk to who listens when you need it.
“I think he did care.” Satoru says, looking at his legs. “He just loved you too much to stop himself.”
“It was my fault, you know.” You start.
“I was the one who suggested going out.”
Satoru is silent as he listens and Suguru feels like he’s been shot. You were blaming yourself? If Suguru could talk to you, he would reassure you that you had nothing to do with what happened.
“It wasn’t your fault.” Satoru says, unsure of how else to comfort you.
Nothing he could say would take the pain away, he was aware of that much.
Suguru is on your side of the door, watching as your lip starts to tremble. You must be sick of being alone. You slowly stand up and reach for the door, opening it much to Satoru’s surprise. He nearly falls back before hopping to his feet, facing you.
“Do you want to come in?” You ask, knowing the answer.
~~~
Ever since the night you let Satoru in, you welcome him in. Suguru thinks it's nice, watching the two of you talk. He’s glad you’re opening up to someone. It’s not good to keep it all in, and Suguru couldn’t stand the idea of you shutting down completely.
In the beginning, Satoru would sit on the furthest end of the couch, but over time he slowly inched closer until the two of you were sitting next to each other. It didn't matter what you talked about. It was always different. Usually it was about Suguru.
“He waited until the sun set and it was dark out. I didn't really understand why. Anyway, he got on one knee and when I turned around he had the ring out.”
“It was because of the people I’m sure. Suguru was a private guy.”
You’re picking at a loose thread on the couch, quietly listening to Satoru.
“I helped him pick out the ring, you know. He was so indecisive. There were two options we narrowed it down to, he ended up asking all your friends what they thought you would like more.”
Suguru sees your shoulders shake and he thinks for a second you’re crying, but when you lift your head up he sees a tiny grin on your face.
“He’s ridiculous. Would’ve loved anything he got.”
“I know. He only wanted the best, though.”
Suguru loves to listen to the two of you talk, but he loves the silence you share just as much. Satoru always used to dread silence. Suguru thinks you’re bringing him down to earth. It’s nice. Suguru didn't think it was possible.
“It’s hard. I can't sleep.” You confess to Satoru late at night.
“Why is that?” Satoru asks, but you know he knows the answer.
“It’s impossible without him.”
You aren’t aware, but Suguru is there each time you lay down. Sometimes he’ll lay beside you, but he rarely does. You always get a chill when he tries, so instead he sits across the room, listening to your breathing. He’s always loved the sound, but he finds he appreciates it more so now.
“If you ever need company, I could spend the night on the couch again.”
“Really?”
You’re trying not to sound eager, Suguru can tell. He grins to himself as he watches your face light up.
“I'd just have to bring over spare clothes, but I can.”
People on the outside may think that something was blossoming between you and Satoru, but Suguru knew better. Satoru would never cross that line. At times, Suguru almost wished he would. He wanted you to find happiness again. And truly, who better to give it than Satoru? The two were so alike that Suguru knew you would be happy. But you wouldn’t do that to Satoru. You wouldn’t want him to feel like a placeholder. Suguru doesn’t know how Satoru feels, but he knows how you feel enough to be positive that nothing was starting between you.
Satoru sleeps on your couch that night. Suguru notices it’s the first time you’ve slept through the entire night in weeks. You don’t wake up even once, not even when Suguru slides into bed beside you.
Suguru keeps his eyes on you the whole night, mesmerized by the features on your face. You were so beautiful. He should’ve told you more often.
~~~
It was going okay. Suguru thought you were healing. One night you have a terrible nightmare. He watches you in horror as you thrash and scream, wishing he could reach out to touch you.
“Help! Help!”
Satoru is in your room moments later, holding your body against his. You twitch in his hold, body shaking in fear. Your eyes flutter open and you have to hold onto Satoru for several moments before you understand where you are.
“It was just a dream.” Satoru speaks quietly to you.
Tears are streaming down your cheeks once you understand what’s happening. You have a tight grip on Satoru’s arms, as if they could keep you from floating away.
“I was- Suguru, he, we needed,”
“It was just a dream.” Satoru says once more.
It wasn’t a dream, not really. It was the accident. The scenes were flashing in your brain, plaguing you with memories. Suguru wishes it was a dream. The worst was already over, only now you were left trying to pick up the pieces.
Satoru sleeps on your floor each night afterward. Always beside the bed, ready in case you have another nightmare. No matter what, he never leaves.
Each time you had a nightmare, Satoru would reach his hand up and squeeze yours, reminding you that the worst part was over. He pretends not to see the scars your fingernails leave in his skin.
~~~
Suguru watches as you experience life. Finding your first gray hair, he was even there when you bought your first new car. They were all things he should have been experiencing with you, if only he was alive.
If you asked Suguru the day he died if he regretted his decision to cover you in the accident, he would say no in an instant. It was the same now, all these years later.
You never move on from him, not really at least. There were men that passed through your life, but you never marry again.
Suguru wanted you to find love again, but you were always more stubborn than he knew what to do with.
And when the time came for you to pass, he was there too. The hospital room didn't feel the same as his did, yours was much more warm and happy. That was what it was supposed to be like when you lived a full life. All of your loved ones gathered around you, crying as they held you. You don’t cry. You’re ready. You’ve been preparing for it for a while now. You have weathered skin and a full heart. You have smile lines now, and Suguru thinks you’ve never looked more perfect.
Suguru stands by the door, watching as everyone says their goodbyes. He feels tears begin to drip from his eyes. He knows it only means he gets to see you sooner, but he’s mourning your death just as much as he would if he was alive. He wanted you to continue living. You still had so much to experience, Suguru wanted you to have it all.
The last member of your family leaves the room, but you have one visitor left. The doctor smiles at the visitor before pulling the door closed behind the two of you, giving you privacy.
“Thank you, darling.” Satoru says, smiling at her.
The door shuts and Satoru is hobbling over to you, lowering himself down next to your bed. He's in relatively good condition for someone of his age.
“Hello.” He squeezes your hand, if Suguru looks close enough he can still see the crescent shaped marks caused by your nails on his hands.
Scars proving your love of Suguru on another man’s body.
“You’re here.” You speak.
“Of course I’m here.”
The room is silent as Satoru takes in your presence. The air is heavy, partly from sadness, but also from the memories and love everyone had left you with. You had lived a long life.
“Are you excited to see him?” Satoru asks.
You look down and fiddle with your ring, the same ring Suguru had picked out all those years ago.
“I am.”
“When you see him tell him I said hi.” Satoru could say much more than that, maybe even a joke from his childhood, but more than anything he just missed his friend.
“I will, I swear.”
“I can’t believe the two of you are going before me.” Satoru’s messing with you now, Suguru walks closer so he can catch the glint in Satoru’s eyes.
“Don’t you worry, your time is coming.” You chuckle to yourself.
“Is that a threat?” Satoru leans in close to you, the act intimate in a way that only appears between friends that have endured years of life together.
“Maybe. I think I’m going to haunt you for the rest of your life.” You tease.
“I hope you do.” Satoru’s tone is heavier as he speaks, a nugget of honesty leaking through.
“Thank you for being so good to me Satoru, I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you as much as you were there for me.” Regret is dripping from your words.
“I know you’re dying, but have you gone senile? You helped me as much as I helped you.” Satoru looks at you in disbelief.
It was true. You had helped Satoru. It wasn’t in the same way he helped you, but instead you provided him multiple chances to relive his childhood. That was worth more than anything in the world to Satoru.
Satoru rubs his thumb along your hand. He sits with you through the silence. He's there with you as the doctor comes back in, voice soft as she asks you if you’re ready. You are, you have been for a long time. Satoru holds your hand, he doesn’t leave as the doctor turns off all the technology that’s assisting you in staying alive.
Suguru would stay, but he has a date he can’t miss.
When you die, everything is empty around you. Your old body is inching by, walking aimlessly.
“Sweetheart.” A voice like velvet fills your ears.
You whip around, jaw and eyes wide open as you come face to face with the love of your life.
“Suguru!” You cry.
Suguru’s smile is relaxed on his face as he walks up to you, embracing you once more. He could finally touch you. He had been dreaming of this moment for years.
The second his skin hits yours, it's like a ripple effect. Your skin slowly rejuvenates, your body regressing until it resembles what it looked like the night he died. You were young again.
Suguru holds you for what feels like eternity before you pull away. He tries not to frown, reminding himself that he can touch you again whenever he feels like it now.
“I missed you!” Your lash line is holding on a thin thread, tears welling up, nearly pouring out.
Suguru doesn’t say anything because he doesn’t think he can put into words how much he missed you.
“Oh, and Satoru said-“
“Hi, I know. I heard him.” Suguru reaches a hand up and skims your cheek with his thumb.
He no longer feels cold.
“You heard him? You were there?”
“Of course I was. I always was.”
Suguru chuckles to himself at the expression on your face. It's a shock, for sure. You had no reason to believe he stayed with you. Suguru could have moved on at any point in time, but he wouldn’t. Not without you by his side.
“I love you.” He says it the same way he used to say it, and you finally break down.
Tears stream down your face as you pull him in for a kiss.
“Come on, let’s make up for all the lost time.” Suguru murmurs in your ear, wrapping his arm around yours.
I Don’t Wanna Live Forever Pt.1
Rhea Ripley x Fem Prostitute!Reader
Tumblr media
WARNINGS: SMUT 18+, ANGST, Oral Sex (R Receiving), Fingering (R Receiving), Strap On Sex (R Receiving), Prostitution, Mentions Of Abusive Pimp and Past Trauma, Confessions
PREFACE: Reader was Rhea's favorite girl to call on a Saturday night, but little did she know that the wrestler was falling harder and harder with each visit
A/N: Flashbacks In Italics!
Tumblr media
As we stumbled into her bedroom, our hands were all over each other, as our lips met in yet another heated exchange. I pull away briefly to get on my knees, when she stops me.
"Not tonight", she exhaled,
I pout playfully.
"You never let me go down on you"
"Cause that's my job"
My eyebrows furrow at the irony of that sentence.
Rhea had been my main client for the last year. She'd always pay the most, which got her the longest sessions, so I wasn't complaining...except for the fact that I was getting attached.
I couldn't deny it. From the first night we spent together, I knew she wasn't just a regular client. We'd just got done going at it for hours and just when I go to gather my clothes, she stops me.
"You don't have to leave yet", she breathes out,
Leaving me confused.
"I'm sorry?"
"I mean, we could just lay here a while"
This was a first. As obvious as it sounded, I've gotten accustomed to being hastily shoed away right after my sessions, that I was genuinely caught off guard.
"Are you sure?"
"Why not? Do you have any other clients to attend to?"
"Not tonight", I answered,
Suddenly overcome with a new found shyness.
She offered a small smile, before taking me by the hand back to bed. The rest of the evening, I laid in her arms, as she slowly caressed the expanse of my back. We didn't talk or do much of anything past that, besides enjoy the gentle silence and for the first time in what felt like ages, I felt like a person again.
Not just entertainment for someone's pleasure or something to be used. A person.
I know that might not make much sense, but when you've spent so long feeling like you've had to fight for your life everyday, the simple things remind you that it's worth living.
But that in and of itself was a double-edged sword. I couldn't get too used to the comforts I find, cause I knew it was only a matter of time before it gets taken away from me or I end up ruining a good thing for myself. I knew the pains of being used and left behind like trash on the road and I couldn't allow myself to go through that again.
When the morning came, we were still entangled in each other's limbs under the sheets and as much as I wish I could just stay in that moment for longer, I knew my boss would get pissed at me if I missed an appointment.
So with that, I carefully slipped out of her grasp and got dressed, before leaving.
It didn't take long before she booked me again for the following Saturday.
And the one after that and the one after that. With each passing meet, we slowly got to know each other past the physical things like her job, her interests, etc.
"Why'd you get into wrestling?" I asked,
As she lit my cigarette for me.
"Well, I had to do something with this strength...besides carrying pretty girls like you into my room", she teased,
Bringing a blush to my face.
"You say that to all your girls", I challenged,
"No...just my favorite"
Her thumb gently tracing back and forth on my thigh.
Yes, the actual sex was good, but nothing beats what happens afterwards. The talks, the cuddling, the smoking on her balcony. It was all I could want and more.
Which only made it all the more harder to swallow the feelings that were desperately trying to claw their way out of me. I even asked my boss if he could start booking me with other people instead for the sake of not jeopardizing anything, but of course, that wasn't how things worked.
"You're making demands now? You think you're someone special?"
"I didn't mean it like that-"
"You want this job?"
"Yes, but-"
"Tough shit, then. You take what I give you or you walk. You need me more than I need you. I don't care how pretty that face is. You ain't getting special treatment", he said,
Slamming the door in my face.
I was just gonna have to figure it out on my own, whilst pretending like everything was fine, which brings us back to where we were now.
"Plus, you'll ruin the surprise"
She slips my top off over my head, before helping me out my skirt.
"Look at you", she whispered,
Pulling me in by hips, before kissing me once more.
She eventually backed me up against the bed, whilst I unbuttoned her blouse. My eyes wander up and down her inked skin, as my tongue swiped over my top lip in anticipation. I licked a stripe all the way up her abdomen, before eventually meeting her mouth with mine. Her fingers get a grip on my roots, gently pulling my head back to leave wet kisses against my neck.
One thing about Rhea is that she's passionate in the way she touches. She wants me melting before she even truly got started.
She reaches behind me, undoing my bra, as I worked to get my underwear down. I then tug at her sports bra, signaling that I wanted it gone, to which she tugs it off and drops it at our feet. My mouth immediately wraps around one of her stiff buds, causing quiet groans to escape her smeared lips.
"That's it", she praised,
Cradling my head and gently sitting me down. I undo her jeans and pull them down, revealing the surprise in question.
"When did you get this?"
"Came in this morning", she said answered,
Brushing a strand behind my ear.
It was a good length and the thickness was sure to leave me feeling this night well into tomorrow. She's used toys on me before, but nothing quite like this.
"Mind getting it ready for me, darling?"
I chew at my bottom lip, looking up at her with a mischievous grin, before taking the strap into my hand and running my tongue over the tip.
Her eyes stared daggers into my bare skin, taking in every second of the little show I was putting on. Eventually, she pulls away and gets me on my hands and knees. I hear shuffling and just as I go to turn to see what she was doing, I feel her tongue press against my soaked heat. I let out a gasp, feeling the cold metal of her piercing rub against my clit.
Her fingers began rubbing up and down my entrance and with no resistance left in the way, she pushes two digits into me, pressing directly against my sweet spot.
"Oh, God!", I cried,
"He can't hear you", she smiled against me,
Sending chills up my spine.
She spends a good few minutes between my legs bringing me closer and closer to edge and at the very last second, she pulls away with a huff. I whine at the loss of her touch, but she was quick to soothe me.
"Patience, love", she exhales,
Wiping her mouth of my taste and reaching over to shove them in my mouth. I couldn't have accepted faster.
"So good", she says,
Pressing kiss after kiss against my shoulders and back, whilst lining up the toy with my slit. She thrusted into me in one swift motion, shamelessly ripping a scream of her name out of me.
It wasn't long till her momentum picked up and she was repeatedly hitting the spot I needed most. The tight grip she had on my hips would surely leave marks, but did I care? No. I was so engulfed in the pleasure, that all possible consequences ceased to exist.
She then reaches under me and began toying with my already-sensitive bundle of nerves.
"Rhea!", I cried out,
Grabbing behind for one of her hands.
I was at the brink of coming fully undone and it didn't help that her pace only grew more relentless with each pound.
"I'm here, darling", she groaned.
Unbeknownst to me, her own core was rubbing against the harness, meaning she was also chasing a high of her own.
"God, the things you do to me", she praised,
Biting down on my skin, which added even more fuel to the fire that was consuming me whole. The knot in the pit of my stomach was on the verge of snapping apart and I knew she could tell I was close.
"Do it. Fuck, cum!", she moaned,
And with that, I was hurled over the edge along side with her. She kept going, allowing me to ride the orgasm to its last legs, before we both fell against the sheets.
I desperately tried to catch any breath my lungs would allow, as she did the same, holding me in her arms. It took a few moments, but eventually, my vision found its way back to me, despite still seeing stars from how intense it all was.
After allowing me to fully calm, she gently pulls out, making me whine at the sore emptiness.
She soothed my aches with a few quiet hushes, whilst turning me to hold my frame in her arms.
"You did so well", she reassured,
Kissing me softly.
The remainder of the night we had left was spent with her just holding me.
Something about tonight felt different. She was more quiet compared to how she usually was.
"Something on your mind?", I asked,
Looking up into her eyes.
"Nothing. Just you"
There goes my heart again, drumming against the walls of my chest.
"Could I ask you something?"
I nodded against her bicep, not tearing my eyes away from hers.
"Do you ever wish it could just be this?"
"What do you mean?"
"I don't know. Just...you and me?"
My heart went from beating at the speed of light to a sudden pause.
"Rhea"
I sit up, pulling the comforter to cover myself.
"I've just been thinking about it", she continued,
"I like you, (Y/N). It's all I've been able to think about"
"You don't mean that"
"I do", she takes my hand into hers,
"That isn't how this works", I sighed.
I could tell she could sense the reluctancy and indecision in my voice.
"We'll never know if we don't try", she argued,
And at this point, I could feel myself holding back tears threatening to spill.
"You pay for my time and I service you. That's it"
She turns away and that's when I knew it was over. I managed to destroy what could be my last shot at something worth living for.
"I'm sorry", I said,
Stepping out of bed.
Not wanting wallow in the mess I made any longer, I simply just got dressed and left without another word. As painful as it was to go for the very last time, I knew it was for the better.
Or so I thought.
Saw your are open for requests, since you write wonwoo soooo soooo well, maybe a little drabble or headcanon about reader and wonwoo first time sleeping (not having sex, just purely fluff cuddle and sleep) together would be good in this rainy season here in my tropical country.
Btw SEATED for the longer fics😁
cuddles — jeon wonwoo | 1,450 words | fluff
TROPICAL COUNTRY ANON MY SINCEREST APOLOGIES I STILL HOPE IT'S RAINING WHERE YOU ARE. i love the rains and i'm sorry i didn't get inspired in time to write something that i like, but i really hope you see this!
gender neutral reader. warnings: reader is a bit unsettled by the sound of thunder (not actually self-projection for once).
Tumblr media
“do you have to go?” wonwoo asks as you search for the remote to pause the movie, credits rolling on the screen.
you stare at him, trying to come up with a response. more specifically, you’re wondering if he’s implying what you think he’s implying. “i mean…isn’t it late? and don’t i always leave around this time?”
“you do,” he says, leaning over you to take out the remote that’s wedged between two cushions, and you swear your heart skips a beat. “but you could change that.”
“are you…asking…”
“it’s raining, too,” he says, a hopeful smile on his face. “if you really want to leave, i can drop you home, but i think i’d really like it if you…stayed.”
and that’s how you find yourself by wonwoo’s side in his bathroom, holding a spare toothbrush he handed you as he brushes his teeth. you’re vaguely aware that toothpaste is dripping down your brush and onto your hand as you watch him through the mirror, while also considering the fact that is way too domestic to be doing with someone you’ve been dating for two months.
but you can’t stop thinking about how…soft he looks. his hair is wept back from his forehead, no longer neatly styled like it had been earlier in the day, but still making him look very handsome. he’s wearing an oversized hoodie with sweatpants. you can’t help but wonder what you’ll look like, wearing it.
the thought immediately flusters you so much that you look anywhere but at him, and yet you can see him glance at you through the mirror now.
“want to tell me what you were thinking about?”
you refuse to grace his question with an answer and hurry up with your routine, skin feeling a bit cooler when you’re done washing your face. you pat it dry with the towel wonwoo’s given you, and when you turn around, there’s a shirt and a pair of sweatpants sitting on the counter.
even though it’s just basic decency, making sure you don’t go to sleep in your jeans tonight, it’s still thrilling to see his clothes being perfectly oversized on you. you step out of the bathroom a bit nervously, not having heard any sound from him in the past minute. but wonwoo’s lying on the bed, looking at his phone. when he sees you, there’s a smile on his face. he rolls to his side and watches you shut the door and come over to where he’s resting.
“what is it?” you ask, a little self-conscious. you’re not yet used to the — for lack of a better word — adoring gazes he gives you whenever he sees you. he’s verbal with his affection, too, always letting you know how good he thinks you look, or how happy he is that you’re spending your time with him, but he’s even better with his actions. which is what makes you think this is one of those moments.
“nothing,” he says, putting his phone on the stand.
“then why were you looking at me like that?” you ask, sitting down on the bed and swinging your legs over so that you’re comfortably settled.
“you just…you look really good in my clothes.”
it takes everything in you not to turn and hide your face in the pillow at that. you’re still not used to how blunt he is, and how he means every word he says to you. you’d known this about him before you started dating him, but now that you’re actually dating him, you’re getting to see a side of him you didn’t know existed.
“yeah? maybe i should wear your hoodie, then,” you tease instead.
“i hope you do,” he says, putting his glasses away and getting under the covers, motioning for you to do the same. you swear your brain has short-circuited as you get underneath the covers as well. his covers are as warm as the ones you have at home, and you remember he mentioned he runs cold. same as you, then.
you lie there for a minute or two, getting used to each other’s proximity, before wonwoo speaks up.
“tell me if this is okay,” he says, before inching closer and resting a large hand on your stomach. you can feel your breath catch as his hand inches its way around your waist and pulls you a bit closer. “sweetheart?”
“mhm? i’m fine.” you are fine, but your poor heart isn’t.
“good. i don’t want to do anything you don’t want me to.”
as much as you appreciate how respectful he’s being, part of you wishes he was a bit less cautious. you’re okay with him. you trust him, and he knows it.
“i’m not made of glass, wonwoo,” you say, looking up at him from where you’re resting.
wonwoo takes in a breath and then pulls you into himself, letting your head rest on his chest. it’s only then that you realize his heart is beating fast, probably as fast as yours.
“wonwoo?”
“mm?”
“are you nervous right now?”
“how couldn’t i be? i have such a pretty person in my arms.”
you actually gasp and smack his chest at that. he only laughs — that deep, rumble-like laugh that made you like him so much. “aren’t we supposed to be sleeping? trying to, at least?”
“i’m finding it hard to sleep with you here.”
“…oh,” you say, happiness deflating a bit. “see, i told you—”
“no!” he exclaims, scrambling away enough to look you in the eyes. “i meant— i want to keep talking to you, but i also want to sleep, and it’s unlucky that we can’t do both at the same time.”
your heart flutters at that. “that’s…i wish we could do that, too.”
“good,” he says, settling back down. “then that’s what we’re going to do.” he adjusts the covers so that you’re resting comfortably. you do want to keep the conversation going, but wonwoo is perfectly warm, and the rain outside sounds like pleasant white noise that is lulling you deeper into tiredness.
“do you like the rain?” you ask, hand resting on his chest, gently tracing abstract patterns. like the ones you doodle when you’re on phone calls with him.
when he doesn’t reply for a while, you think you’ve spoken too softly, but then you feel the rumble in his chest as he speaks. “i do. i love how green it gets outside. and i love how it smells, too.”
you want to say the same, but a sudden boom of thunder makes you freeze and grip his hoodie rather tightly.
“sweetheart?” wonwoo asks instantly, concern palpable in his voice. “are you okay?”
“it’s nothing,” you say, but even you know it’s a lie when you don’t let go of the death grip you have on his hoodie.
it’s not even lightning. it’s somewhat of a stupid thing to be afraid of, yet you can’t help but feel helpless when the thunder booms again, louder than it did the first time.
“is it…the thunder? the sound of it? i promise i won’t judge you, sweetheart.”
you sigh. “it’s just…i’m not very fond of thunder. i don’t like how loud it gets. i’m not scared, really, i just don’t like the way it…”
“startles you?”
you nod, not wanting to look at him. you wonder what he’s thinking.
“that’s perfectly fine,” wonwoo says, voice soft as he pulls you closer into himself till his arms engulf your upper body and you’re surrounded only by him and his calm breathing, his warmth that’s currently your anchor. “i used to be scared of dogs because i got bitten once. but i’ve got seol now. you’ve seen her, haven’t you?”
you have. wonwoo’s shown you pictures of his dog back home, and she’s the most adorable thing you’ve seen.
“you’re not any weaker for not liking thunderstorms, you know. everyone has their thing. don’t worry about it when you’re with me. i can’t make it go away, but i can make sure you’re not too scared, okay?”
“are you always this romantic?”
you can feel more than hear wonwoo’s chuckle as it rumbles through his chest. you’ve never felt as safe as you do now, in a thunderstorm. you burrow yourself more into his hold, loving how his arm comes to wrap around your waist.
“sleep well,” he says.
“i—” love you, you want to say, but the words catch in your throat. you mean them with your entirety, even if they might be a bit premature. “you too. i’m so glad i’m here,” you say instead, leaning up to peck his cheek.
wonwoo kisses your head, arm tightening around you. “i’m so glad you’re here, too.”
“They are the only ones capable of defeating him,” you finally met his hostile stare. “Tell me—in a game of cards, what would be the benefit of showing your deck to someone who isn’t your ally?”
Tumblr media
Dust twirled and twisted in the air, sparkling in the shine of a sunset that threatened to bleach essential documents with its powerful rays. People restlessly muttered to themselves, filling in the quiet as they tried to finish their last bits of work so they could retire into their nightly routines. There were the outliers, of course. Dazai hardly ever touched paperwork when asked and leaned back in his chair without a care in the world. Ranpo was always in a similar state, though he took the time to devour a new lollipop every couple of minutes, having been gifted a couple of bagfuls courtesy of Minoura and his subordinates.
"We're back!" you exclaimed, propping the office door open with your hip as you adjusted a flimsy tray of caffeinated drinks in your arms, letting Atsushi in with the rest of them. Everyone perked up as if they were rescued from peril, most wandering over in the hopes of snatching theirs before returning to their excruciating endeavors.
You craned your head back towards your newest recruit. "Could you set those down in there?"
"Sure," Atsushi replied, distracted as he labored to balance his tray onto the table without spilling anything. In the end, he relented and decided to remove each individual drink and set them down. You tried not to make fun of his relieved expression—he was probably traumatized from the time he had spilled them all. Despite reassurances from most people that it was okay, everyone had been in a cranky mood for the rest of that day, so you decided to assist him with the task ever since.
While Atsushi deliberated with his task, you decided to deliver drinks to those who had chosen not to leave their work. "One espresso for Kunikida." The man merely waved in thanks with his non-dominant hand, too engrossed in drafting an incident report. "And one abomination for Dazai." The suicide enthusiast scoffed as he snatched the drink from your hands, cradling it like it was his malformed baby. It was a miracle he didn't burn his hands.
"I'll have you know that this is the secret concoction for my beauty."
"Certain it's not another suicide attempt?" And despite his concentration, Kunikida always had time to comment on his partner's less-than-stellar preferences, especially when they always seemed to find a way to obstruct his work.
"Even if it's not one," you covered your nose as a rancid smell started to waft from the cup, "the smell alone makes me want to jump."
"I'm wounded!"
You left Kunikida to handle Dazai, knowing he was likely seconds away from throttling him, and your hands cramped as you balanced not only a drink but a collection of pastries sent from the café manager's wife herself. The drink wasn't much better than Dazai's, though it luckily didn't have a distinct smell. It was just the massive amounts of sugar that made you nauseous as you tried not to imagine the taste of such a sweet drink.
How the master detective didn't have any cavities was beyond you.
"Only the finest drink for the world's greatest detective," you said, amused as you settled it down in front of him. He remained stretched back, legs propped over the desk as he swung them back and forth.
Without an ability, you were often chained to office work—but it was no secret that you thrived out on the field, regardless of whether you had an ability or not. You became the unspoken assistant to Ranpo whenever he was needed outside of the office, functioning as both an equal and interpreter for his blunt and childlike mannerisms. It had created a kinship between you both as the only two "ability-less" agents allowed to solve cases by themselves.
"It's about time," he groaned.
But that didn't stop him from having an attitude with you or anyone else.
"Glad you didn't forget the creamer—unlike someone here."
Ranpo and the resident weretiger locked eyes, with the latter returning the gaze with an unamused glare. There was another unspoken fact about the staff at the Agency—Ranpo was notorious for taunting new recruits, especially ones as reactive as Atsushi. In fact, Kunikida's first months had to have been your favorite time. Despite his inherent respect for his senior, even he had a difficult time and questioned the methods and attitude of the super-deduction genius, but like everyone else, he learned Ranpo was simply that way.
"(Name)-san!" your train of thought was broken, spinning on your heel to meet the brunette woman calling your name, pausing as she pointed at her computer screen. "Can you take a look at this for me?"
She shrunk back from the stern tilt of your head. "You're not asking me to do it for you again, are you?" Her reaction told you everything you needed to know; scrunching back in her seat as sweat started to drip from her forehead. "I told you I can't do your work for you anymore. It's not my fault you're too busy obsessing over your cat."
She fiddled with her thumbs like a scorned child. You sighed. "Fine, I'll check it, but nothing more! Capeesh?"
Her relief sprung forth like a rushing waterfall, uttering 'thank you's' and 'I owe you one's'—as if she ever returned the favor. You rolled your chair beside her, scanning over the documents on her screen, which consisted primarily of the office's activities and expenditures from the past two weeks. From the ambush by the Black Lizard to the serial disappearances of travelers, both the minds and pockets of the staff had run rampant without constraint.
"These dates need to match with the ones on these papers, not those. You've also swapped two of the addresses," you said, pointing to them on the screen, "here and here."
She groaned, throwing her head back as she massaged the corners of her screen-strained eyes. "Thank you. I'd have my head on backward if you weren't here."
You elbowed her, offering her a comforting but cheeky smile. "That's what I'm here for."
RING! RING!
You picked up the phone as you shooed Haruno back to her work. These phones sucked, the speaker crackling to life with the ambient sounds of static. Most of them had been donated or were bought used, obviously on their last life. It made the constant back-and-forth with clients a guaranteed path to a headache, but there wasn't much else you could do about it. Despite the government's proclamations that the agency was a well-regarded and heroic organization worthy of praise, they rarely invested their resources so that it could flourish to its truest potential—that wasn't a surprise, given how Yokohama's Special Division treated abilities that weren't under its thumb.
"You've reached the Armed Detective Agency—this is Kurihara (Name) speaking. How can I help you?"
The voice on the other end of the line was muffled, but it was difficult to tell if that was a fault of the phone or if it was an intentional endeavor on the speaker's part. "Hallo, Ms. Kurihara. Such a charming voice." You pressed your ear closer to the receiver in spite of the pain. If you didn't know any better, you'd say that the man on the other line had an accent—German, you thought.
That was unusual, to say the least. Most people who knew about the detective agency were domestic, or at the very least from Japan if they weren't from the city itself. Contact from anyone outside of that demographic was abnormal, at least if it was in association with an everyday case.
Your reaction seemed to at least catch the attention of one person. "Is something wrong?" Naomi mouthed from across the desks, but you brushed her off as you tried to refocus.
"Thank you, sir. What can I do for you?"
"Straight to the point, hm?" he clicked his tongue. "I'll be quick. You're the agency's liaison, yes?"
"I am," you replied, fiddling with the coils of the phone cord, knotting it around your index finger before squishing it with your thumb.
"Marvelous! I have a message for you to deliver."
The normal part of you wanted to snap back at the man, stating he could have easily placed this message of his into an email, maybe added a GIF or two if he wanted to be theatrical, but the atypical set-up of the conversation left your normal wit at the front door. This man was odd if you had been asked to describe him, and it wasn't because of his accent—no, you had met plenty of people who spoke the same with an assortment of personalities, both good and bad. It was the lilt of his tone that threw you for a loop, like a snake trying to act as the charmer, luring in a mouse with cheese as it waited at the end of a trap. Perhaps that was the reason you decided to take a pen and some paper from Haruno's stationery, fidgeting with the clicker as he continued to speak, an anxious action that did little to appease your watchful juniors.
"You have two hours to hand over your master detective."
You peered over at the aforementioned sleuth out of the corner of your eye, who sat none-the-wiser to his newfound predicament, downing his candied drink as he grouched to himself about his boredom despite the piles of cases on his desk. He certainly wouldn't be bored after this. It wasn't rare for someone to threaten Ranpo—he was incredibly polarizing—but more often than not, it was a prank. This wasn't the same.
"Failure to do so," the man over the phone stopped himself, attempting to contain his amusement as his laughter almost slipped into cartoonish joy, forcing you to swallow the impulse to insult the unseen bastard from head-to-toe, "will result in the premature slumber of the clerks and clients of Chuoshijo Bank. That will be where the handover will occur."
You almost broke the phone as its thinner bridge started to crush in your hand. "I'm assuming you won't say why you're doing this?"
He left off with a chuckle. "That's all part of the fun, no?"
The line dropped, and you were only left with the same static. You were silent and contemplative as you reconnected the phone and stared at the piece of paper in your hand. The next step would be to check if this threat was as legitimate as the man made it out to be and you had your suspicions. Three of your juniors eyed you as you walked over to the agency's beacon of ideals, which only drew the attention of everyone else.
"Kunikida."
No response.
"I think he's a little preoccupied," Atsushi replied for him, though you didn't need a reply as you watched the blonde's hand move back and forth in a rhythm, his focus honestly admirable.
"He won't be for long."
The slap reverberated throughout the office, and if your co-workers weren't paying attention before, they certainly were now. Kunikida took a moment to pause his work, eyes drifting to look at the paper that had assaulted his face, which innocently floated onto the surface of his desk. He scowled at the message scrawled across the page, though it was only noticeable through the subtle twitch of his eye.
"Is this threat legitimate?" He adjusted his glasses with the edge of his finger as if the words on the paper would morph into something else, but they didn't.
"A threat?" Kenji leaned his body to peer around you, trying to take a curious look at the message.
"Whoever this was claims they'll kill the people at Chuoshijo Bank if we don't hand over Ranpo."
It only took a couple of moments before almost the entire office gathered around, staring at the paper with both intrigue and worry. No one had ever attempted to place an actual threat toward the lead detective, at least not since most of the members had joined. Even senior members were a bit confused by it, and it felt like a bad omen.
"It wasn't from a local," you piped up. "The man had an accent. German, if I'm not mistaken."
Dazai was one of the members who didn't bother to rise from his chair, though he had no issue inserting his two cents into the discussion. "He could be a member of the Kanagawa Insurance Agency. It's a front for the Port Mafia, but some of its associates were hired from a German reconnaissance platoon after the war."
It astounded you that people never realized his previous profession, even with the numerous times he had delved into information only a Port Mafia member would know. Kunikida was still left in the dark, but he went with his words without question, which was both admirable since he trusted his partner so much and worrisome since he never seemed to pick up on that detail. There was a secret bet for how long it would take for him to realize it.
"We probably won't receive answers from them directly," Kunikida grumbled, the weariness in his tone palpable. He reflected the temperament of the entire agency, wanting a break from the chaos. "We'll have to conduct an investigation."
"The important question is—what could they want with Ranpo?" you asked, and everyone turned to the detective for the answer, only to find him asleep in his chair, hat awkwardly covering his face with his emptied cup still in hand.
"Dazai, (Name)," Kunikida's sternness drew your attention away, "head down to the bank to scope out the situation and try to make contact with the enemy. I'll inform the Boss of the situation while Atsushi and Tanizaki investigate their headquarters. Everyone else is to remain here and protect Ranpo."
The look in his eyes was similar to that of a hawk as he stared at Dazai. "We don't know if they've released the threat publicly, so watch what you say."
"Aye, Aye!" Dazai exclaimed with a salute. "You heard him, (Name)."
"I was referring to you, Dazai!"
Tumblr media
"Kurihara-san!" a voice called from the midst of reporters. "What's the reason for the Armed Detective Agency's involvement?"
"We are strictly here to advise the police. Please disperse from this area."
You grimaced as you and Dazai tried to maneuver through a throng of news crews swarming around the outer reaches of the bank. On a normal day, the neighborhood was tranquil, a scenic location near the harbor with an occasional cluster of families or tourists, but the frenzy of flashing cameras and insistent voices shattered that panoramic atmosphere. The organization that man belonged to likely tipped them off, since there were rarely reporters so early in the case.
"Is the Port Mafia involved in this incident?" one reporter hollered, driving a microphone alarmingly close to your face.
"Can you confirm if this is connected to the string of robberies in Gumyoji-cho?" another piped in, several cameramen competing with each other for the best view. You had to stop yourself from rolling your eyes as Dazai tried to place himself in every frame.
This was the aspect of your position that irritated you the most, though you were considered the most adept at handling it out of any of your co-workers—but these people so easily ignored the fact that real lives could possibly be on the line, simply because they wanted their next big break. Luckily for you and unluckily for them, this was one of the few occasions when you were permitted to summon a little attitude.
You held up your hand, shoving the microphone back in the opposite direction. "When the police have prepared a statement, they'll let you know." Like Moses with the Red Sea, the news crews parted at the hint of your obvious irritation. Many of them had become familiar with your infamous intolerance for the media's bullshit from several other incidents, and none of them wanted to be the victim of one of your notorious letters to their bosses. The liaison of the Armed Detective Agency was not to be tested.
"Remind me never to cover for you."
You chuckled at the comment from your companion, bumping his shoulder. "You'd have to get out of bed on days you *are* scheduled for that to ever happen.
Dazai gaped at your scathing dissertation of his character, inclined to make chase as he rushed to catch you through the crowd, only to tumble over the police tape, which astonishingly remained secure as he landed on his face. If he hadn't received enough attention before, he certainly was now as cameras turned to him in not-so-subtle attempts to capture the dashing detective, now a pile of bandages on the sidewalk.
Despite your amusement, you had mercy on him, tugging him by the tails of his trench coat as he wept into your arms. "I can't believe this. My reputation—ruined!"
"I'm certain you'll find some girl who doesn't watch the news," you replied, patting his shoulder in a mock attempt to comfort him.
"Detectives!" a voice hollered from further in the taped-off zone. On further inspection, it was Deputy Minoura who waved the both of you over. It allowed for a momentary respite as the crews turned their cameras away from your faces and onto the building itself, but no one seemed to have greater relief than Minoura, though he raised a brow at your unlikely duo. "Where's your master detective? Is he really too busy to get his ass down here? Should've bribed him with more of those damn sweets."
Despite the severity of the situation, you had to try hard not to laugh. "Actually, he's under watch at the office. The same people who've orchestrated this mess are after him, too."
"Shit," he mumbled, and you felt an instant wave of pity for the poor man. He had a lot of shit on his plate already, if you knew anything about his superiors, and was handed a mostly incompetent task force of barely qualified cadets that depended on Ranpo to solve their problems. Minoura gnawed at the inside of his lip, a hand brushing against the small patch of stubble on his chin. "I'll be frank with you: things aren't looking great. The entire place is on lockdown, and no one's be able to make contact with anyone inside."
You and Dazai eyed each other, not wanting to verbally recognize the unspoken aspect of the situation—the possible chance that everyone inside could already be a bunch of corpses. Neither of you wanted to jump to that conclusion, and while it was within the realm of possibility, it would do more harm than good to assume that was the case right out of the gate. However, the two-hour time constraint remained a further pressure as the clock ticked by.
Dazai hummed. "When's the last time your men swept the perimeter?"
"It's been a bit," Minoura replied. "They've been focused around the main entrance and the roof, so I'll leave the rest to you two for now."
You started your search on the side of the building that faced the harbor, pushing on doors and peeking through windows for the chance there was a crack in their defenses. It took a few minutes of investigating, but it was as Minoura had stated—everything was locked and covered. No loose doors and no cracked windows. Banks were always the worst when it came to any sort of terror situation due to their structure, made like a prison under the perfect circumstances.
"There should be another exit connected to the second floor," you said, pointing back to a staircase you both had yet to look into. "I'll check there while you start on the other side."
His eyes followed you as you ran out of sight, and he hated the abnormal inkling that was itching at the back of his mind, refusing to bubble to the surface. It was aggravating for the genius to be left in the dark by his own thoughts, typically a master of his mind, but the situation itself eluded him. The total lockdown of the bank, the lack of contact from hostages, the tip-off of the media—something wasn't adding up.
It took him another minute before a part of his realization set in.
It shouldn't take you that long to check a fire escape.
Tumblr media
Your eyes fluttered open, the thump of your heartbeat deafening your ears like an alarm clock. It took careful deliberations to breathe, the air as thick and warm as molasses on a summer day. The dusky radiance of the moon did little to aid your search as you tried to piece together your location.
It was an abandoned warehouse—a cavernous expanse of shadows and echoed sound. Steel beams crisscrossed above, reinforcing the high-vaulted ceiling that was laden with cobwebs in every corner. Wooden crates scattered about, some sealed with others wide open, stacked haphazardly across slick concrete, shaping into a labyrinth of unknown objects. It would've been the place of nightmares if not for your splintering headache, which placed your fearful reaction on hold as you muttered to yourself, tussling with the restraints that threatened to cut off your blood flow.
"Good morning, Dornröschen."
A man sauntered out from behind a crate, and you shuddered to think he had stood there watching the entire time. He was middle-aged and stoutly built, with tufts of sandy, peppered hair that slicked back to touch his crown, not a strand out of place. In other circumstances, you'd assume he was a foreign dignitary—a walking advertisement for the heights of western-European fashion, dawning a Brioni wool suit and Austrian Oxfords. He repositioned his golden cufflinks, the room thickening with the stench of an oud-scented cologne.
"Nice to finally meet face-to-face, Ms. Kurihara."
The blurred edges of your vision cleared away, and your face shined with clarity. "You're the caller."
He oozed with a cartoonesque delight, clasping his hands. "Correct! And I must admit, you are even lovelier than you sound over the phone, herzchen."
You scowled as he attempted to cup your face with those same grubby hands, leaning away. "Don't touch me."
"A feisty one, hm?"
He jerked a stainless steel flask out of his pocket, monogrammed with initials—E.K. You eyed it before you swallowed a groan, having arrived at a worrisome conclusion. Dazai had been correct. The leader of that aforementioned German reconnaissance platoon, as he had informed you en route to the bank, was a man named Eduard Knopf—and it seemed you had the honor and displeasure of meeting him face-to-face. He had a reputation for being a seedy individual, luring people into deals that always fell through on the other end, leaving the poor soul in debt to both the mafia and their front company.
You hissed when he yanked on your ear, forcing you to meet his gaze. "It's fortunate our efforts didn't go to waste. For all their discernment, your co-workers aren't too vigilant when it comes to guarding their most precious asset, no?" Your nose shriveled in disgust as the smell of whiskey was blown against your face. "Left defenseless without an ability."
You blinked, trying to process everything. "Precious?" you muttered as he released his hold on your ear to take another sip from his flask. "I'm just a liaison. They could easily find a replacement for my position if they needed to. And what about Ranpo?"
Eduard spat out his drink, hacking as he punched his chest to cough it onto the floor. You stared with disbelief and disdain as he went from choking to laughing, almost hysterically.
"What's so funny?"
"This isn't about that infantile detective," he said, wiping a tear—if you knew anything about Ranpo, you knew he had probably detected that insult from miles away. "We have our ways of learning about him and every one of your co-workers. No, that's not why we brought you here."
Your lips pressed together in a tight line. "Then why am I here?"
"Do you not know?" he pressed, tilting his head as if you were supposed to ascertain his thoughts from the sky. "That's possible, certainly, but I'd hate for you to disappoint me. You've been so charming up until now."
"Can I have a hint?" you urged, trying to hold back your obvious irritation as your legs pulled against the restraints.
"Your name was at the top of a list."
Thousands of questions swarmed in your mind, but the one at the forefront was exactly who created this list. It wasn't likely the government—out of all your co-workers, you were the least likely to be put under watch. That honor went to Dazai, with Atsushi barely placing as a runner-up. And it certainly wasn't the Port Mafia; they had no interest in an ability-less woman unless it was for a ransom.
"Who made the—"
"It was found in a database that belongs to the Demon from the North."
Oh. Oh.
"Damn it," you muttered, head leaned back as you resigned to your inevitable fate. "Of course, it's him."
"So you do know! Marvelous, simply marvelous."
But with your newfound clarity, you looked at Eduard with an altered point of view. The revelation shattered your initial assumptions, and your ass kicked back into gear, racking over every detail as you sunk back into an older perspective, careful not to fall too far in. Otherwise, you'd be left to crawl out without a lifeline to hold on to.
"How did you gain access to his servers?"
"We had several spies infiltrate the Rats—some professional hackers that breached into his operating system within a week." His pride was palpable as it spilled over. He adjusted the lapels of his suit with the confidence of a man who had not spattered a concoction of alcohol and saliva across the dirty floor. "So I can assure you that your secrets are in capable hands. We both want the same thing, and my men are prepared to squash these pests once and for all."
"Hm, really?" you hummed noncommittally.
"Of course! All you need to do is tell us what you know. I'm certain the agency will understand the mutual benefit."
He drew his phone out from another pocket, fingers aimlessly mashing at buttons as he tried to search for something. Only a few moments passed before his foot began to tap, the heel of his shoe echoing inside this metal tin of a structure as he became antsier by the second. Fortunately, he found what he wanted and turned the screen in your direction. You squinted, your eyes adjusting to the glaring light of a blurred list. The picture was almost indecipherable, as if a high-schooler had taken it—though even the teens in the agency were likely ten times as capable as Eduard's spies.
"Do you recognize any of these names?"
You deciphered the unintelligible text the best you could manage, but after the first name, it didn't matter. The trend was obvious to anyone featured on it, and a part of you didn't want to say anything, but that would probably cause more problems than necessary.
"I do."
"Perfect!" he exclaimed. "Can you remember any addresses? Cities would work, too."
"It wouldn't matter, even if I did." You eyed him, and the next words you uttered drained the life out of you. "They're all dead."
He paused, stumbling over his gestures. "Are you certain? Everyone on this list—"
"Is dead and buried. Six-feet-under."
He bore into his phone, staring at the list with morbid fascination. "So this is a hit list?" The look he made left little room for comfort. You had to resist the impulse to scooch back in your seat. "You must have some important information, then. Anything you wish to share? I have no doubt we could come up with a little arrangement for your release."
"What do you have to lose?" he chuckled, his phone clicking with each stroke as he preemptively started to draft a message.
"No."
.
.
.
"Excuse me?"
Silence filled the warehouse, the wind of the harbor acting as the only sound. He turned on his heel, his phone limp in a loosened hand. You had no reason or desire to meet his eyes; you were merely looking beyond him.
"He's your enemy," Eduard griped, his brow twitching as he tucked his phone back into his pocket. "Why keep his secrets to yourself? Is it 'cause you're not aligned with our methods? You can't pretend the agency is the epitome of morality."
"It isn't that," you replied, watching the moon as it made its ascent above the window line. "It's just that you're incapable of defeating him."
His voice dwindled to a murmur, dripping with the venom of a snake oil salesman. "My organization has ten times the manpower of that pathetic agency of yours. What could they do, hm?"
"They are the only ones capable of defeating him," you finally met his hostile stare. "Tell me—in a game of cards, what would be the benefit of showing your deck to someone who isn't your ally? And what's the chance that they'd rat you out the moment they were inevitably backed into a corner?"
His mouth outstretched into a vicious snarl, and he toyed with his pocket. "Oh, herzchen. And here I thought you were smart." A flash of metal lustered in the moon's brilliance as Eduard fiddled with the safety of an old Luger pistol—not that you seemed that interested, your eyes distant once more. He smacked the muzzle against your forehead in a vain attempt to allure a reaction but was only met with silence.
"I'll make sure to return you in one piece."
BANG!
The sound deafened the warehouse. Hardened eyes subsided into shock before they glazed over as Eduard sunk to the floor, his head hitting the concrete with a hard smack. Blood trickled into a stream out of the wound in his forehead from the bullet that had pierced straight through his skull.
"You've gotten yourself into quite the predicament."
You acknowledged the speckles of blood on your skin with a wince, a familiar silhouette approaching from the darkness. It had been a minute since you had seen his face, but you knew those intense eyes, only veiled by the thin strands of hair that fell between them. He raised a curious brow as you noted the pistol in his right hand, which he turned to conceal back into his pocket. A hush filled the space once more, the depth of your stare only amusing him.
"You don't look too pleased to see me."
"I can't say I am," you replied. "You're bound to bring destruction wherever you trail."
He smirked, fingers smoothing against the scrape on your forehead. "Is that any way to speak to your savior?"
"You mean my actual kidnapper?" your lip quirked up. "You didn't expect me to believe this was all some sort of coincidence, did you? Don't tell me you think I'm an idiot."
"You, моя милая? Never," he replied, his devilish smile flickering into a softer expression before reverting once more. "It was predictable to partner with the Armed Detective Agency, любимая. It's no surprise they've drawn you in."
"Predictable actions can have unprecedented results. You'll just have to wait for my next move."
He lifted your chin with the edge of his finger, swiping his thumb underneath your jawline. "As anticipated. I'd only expect the best from you."
His fingers danced across the surface of an old switchblade's handle, severing the rotted restraints around your wrists and ankles until you were unbound. He braced your shoulders as you attempted to stand on your own two feet, body unused to your weight from the hours of sitting—it was no surprise that he took the opportunity to snake an arm around your waist, pressing you firmly against his chest.
"It's been too long," he drawled, a satisfied smile pressed against the heated skin of your neck as you tried in vain not to melt at his touch. You found yourself subconsciously returning the gesture, a hand drawing circles up his spine in a manner that always made him fold.
"What're you playing at?"
"It's as you said." He raised the palm of your hand to his lips, kisses intricately placed into every wrinkle before they carefully decorated the marks on your wrists. "It's foolish to show your cards to an enemy. And you, моя милая, are the worst person to show my hand."
You hummed as he left a kiss on your forehead, careful not to disturb the bruise that started to blossom. "So cold you are," he whispered. "To take my heart and wield it against me."
And you allowed yourself to lean into his chest, eased by the subtle beat of his heart. "I could say the same to you, Федя."
The warmth of his hands rendered you motionless, a reminder of balsam smoke in the altars of churches that had been ebbed over the years. For the first time in forever, you indulged in his presence and allowed his soft words to soothe your doubts with every caress. He was temptation itself, and he knew what he was doing. It would be so easy to succumb to his sweet delusions. Your chin was lifted once more, and you knew you wouldn't be able to resist him if he kissed you. But as your lips were about to meet, voices could be heard from further in the warehouse.
"What if she's hurt?"
"I'm sure she's fine, Atsushi," a sardonic voice responded. "(Name)'s a tough woman. She can handle herself."
You looked away from Fyodor, smiling fondly at the racket created by your co-workers. He stared for a moment before letting out a resigned sigh, drawing your attention back in his direction.
"It seems our time has been cut shorter than I anticipated." He left one last kiss against your knuckles. "Until we meet again." He left in the opposite direction, his black coat shielding him from sight as your co-workers round the corner.
"(Name)-san!" Atsushi exclaimed, the stomp of his boots echoing until they came to a halt, split-colored eyes widening at the sight of Eduard's body. "What happened to him?"
Your brow puckered as you racked your mind for an excuse—it was obvious you hadn't done this, but could you possibly tell them the truth? And how would you even start?
Dazai knelt beside the corpse, careful not to displace any vital evidence as he moved disheveled hair away to assess the wound. Clean entrance in the back, messy exit in the front—a shot from behind. His face bowed in contemplation, lines of deep thought etching along his face before he perked back into his normal guise, practically bouncing on one foot in mirth.
"Oh, thank goodness!" he cried, practically bouncing as he took your hands into his in an all-too-familiar manner. "I was so worried something had happened to you. 'Such a waste of beauty,' I said!"
Your response was to flick his forehead, chuckling as he shrank down to the floor with his head in his hands, whining about your 'cruelty' and that he'd 'make you pay for such heartlessness.' Atsushi, on the other hand, was left with more questions than answers.
"Weren't these the same men after Ranpo?" he pressed, scratching his chin. "They never appeared at the agency. What'd they want with you?"
"It seems they believed I had some top-secret information on someone," you replied, messing with the fabric of your sleeves. "They used Ranpo as a decoy to bait me before knocking me out when we were investigating the bank."
"What kind of info did they want?"
You would be foolish not to notice the minute tilt in Dazai's head, an indicator for whenever he was attempting to probe someone. But you weren't a fool, and you stood your ground.
"We didn't have much time to delve into details."
You acknowledged him by returning his gesture, and he stared for a moment before relenting for the time being. It wasn't likely that he'd let the subject go completely, but you needed that precious time in order to think about the endless questions you'd be answering—along with which ones to answer truthfully and which ones to cover up. It was a dangerous game to play with the former mafia executive, but what fun would it be if it wasn't?
The two escorted you outside, and a foul order made you increasingly aware of the reason Atsushi had sounded so worried. Bodies lined the outside of the warehouse; armored men piled in clumps like dead flies as they rotted in the summer heat, their weapons unused as they sat, long dead. Had Eduard sat inside the entire time without realizing his men had all perished?
You looked at them with a solemn expression and tried not to think about it too much. "What happened with the bank? How did you manage to find me?"
"As it turns out, no one was in the bank at all."
You turned back to Atsushi, stupefied. "Huh?"
"Apparently, someone pulled the fire alarm." Dazai stared at the corpses with a similar soberness, eyes distant. "Once everyone was out, they managed to lock down the building. There was no proper way to get a headcount, so it took some time for police to realize that the threat was false."
You sighed, feeling ten times lighter. "At least no one was hurt."
"Ranpo-san was the one who pointed us here," Atsushi interjected, seeming equally as surprised as you were. "He said something about sensing someone underestimating him?"
You laughed. "Yeah, that tracks."
"We'll have to report this back to the Boss." Dazai's face twisted into a malicious expression as he wriggled his fingers. You were very aware of Fukuzawa's responses whenever one of his subordinates was targeted, and Dazai was gleeful in reminding you of that fact. "You'll be in kiddy jail for weeks. Think of how light our paperwork will be—!"
"That man."
You and Atsushi shrieked as Kyouka emerged from the shadows. It seemed that she had followed behind, which hadn't been an uncommon habit in the weeks following her unofficial introduction to the agency, but you and Atsushi seemed to have both forgotten about it. You clutched your heart, taking a deep breath.
"I think I might have an aneurysm."
"That man with the weird hat." You froze. "Who was he?"
"A man with a weird hat?" Atsushi asked, mostly in a rhetorical sense that was a product of his own amused confusion. You wanted to smack yourself—she must've been able to watch from the rafters, a skill the small girl had depended on from her days in the Port Mafia.
You looked back at the warehouse with a wistful expression. "He's...just an old friend."
"Was he the one that saved you?"
The words felt difficult to swallow. "It's usually the opposite."
Before Atsushi could question your weird choice of words, you started to make your way back to the office. He yelled after you for you to slow down, but the sinking feeling in your stomach only forced you to pick up speed. Dazai was abnormally silent throughout the entire exchange, hands dipping into the pockets of his trench coat as he followed where your eyes had been, scanning the exterior of the warehouse. He frowned before deciding to follow the rest.
He'd be sure to interrogate you later.
Fyodor stood on top of the warehouse, obscured from the ground level, as he watched you drift further and further away from him. He took off his hat, letting the winds of the harbor overshadow his rueful expression.
"Let the games begin, моя любовь."
One Piece x Reader
Just a random thought on situations involving these characters. No taking em seriously though .
One Piece characters x femreader.
_________________________________________
Luffy
Sometimes you questionhow the hell you allowed this man to make you join his crew. How the hell did you fall in love with him too?
1. You gotta fight for the food on your plate like it wasn't served to you specifically.
Tumblr media
2. Your captain be up to some dumb shit half the time. He legit sees the most dangerous looking island and wants to explore it. Like. No. I do not consent.
3. Though you both love each other and would do anything to keep each other safe and happy , ain't no way you about to make me pay that much money for the restaurant bill, I'm in enough debt with Nami. I'll still try to pay a little though. Just because I love you.
Sometimes Luffy be ready do the most outrageous things and all it takes is one look for him to back down. Sometimes he takes it as a challenge. This leads tothe most catastrophic day for the whole crew.
But the one thing is for sure, when this man sees you rocking the battlefield he be that guy who's cheering you on in the corner.
Tumblr media
Zoro
Two words. Nap buddies. Y'all be sleeping everywhere. Bed, deck, aquarium, crow's nest, random persons house, anywhere. That's when you're tired though.
Most times it's Zoro training and you watching every muscle tense, sweat dripping down slowly over delicious abs and the sound of grunts accompanying that. But your eyes wouldn't be fixed on that.
"How the hell are your boobs bigger than mine?" You randomly say one day as he's training.
Man dropped the weight he was lifting just too look at you like:
Tumblr media
Tumblr media
The moment he's done training you push him towards the bathroom for a good bath cause ain't no way you sleeping next to a sweaty man during the hottest days sailing across the Grandline. Throwing in that soap and water with love of course. Maybe even join, you never know.
When he gets lost he always finds you somehow. No one knows but everyone accepted it and knew that if they can't find him now he'll be by your side later on. If y'all leave him on an island by accident that's another issue.
Tumblr media
Though he doesn't act romantic most of the time he tries. He's so babygurl. He'll get you anything you like. Does little things to show he does care. Man would even carry you for a while across a desert just because you were a bit tired. Gets flustered at the attention you give him .
Would have a proud smirk whenever you mopped the floor with someone in a fight. In fact he'd feel sorry for the person you were gonna fight with.
If you were normally someone who didn't prefer fighting or couldn't fight at a high level of skill then he'd do his best to protect your ass. Maybe even teach you how to sword fight.
Law
The workaholic x the carefree
Funnily enough sometimes y'all would have a workload that might be just as the same amount but while he's stressing about it and completing his work you're out exploring the joys of life and appreciating nature.
And at the end of the day you come back to do the work and you're done within an hour or so. Which leaves this man looking at you like
Tumblr media
Sometimes you just randomly say something that pops up in your mind. It just happens. At first he was irritated with that habit until he noticed you don't do it unless you're with people you're comfortable with. Still doesn't stop the fact that he's ready to throw you off the Polar Tang.
"Why are you sitting like that?" He asked as you guys are in the middle of a town's shopping district.
"I'm trying to assert dominance." Said that with a serious face. Guess how you were sitting...
Tumblr media
I feel as though many would tell him to his face that he looks like a drug dealer.
"But he's a doctor."
It's the same thing just legal.
All in all y'all don't need to help each other in a fight. You need distance.
1. You don't wanna end up in some rando's body.
2. It would be a mess if y'all fought in the same place.
Nami
I feel like it would start off as flirty friendship.
Y'all just randomly complimenting each other. Hyping each other up. Defendimg each other.
May or not be based of my friendship with someone but she'd probably wack your butt atleast once, just because it's there and it was right in front of her.
People may think the both of you are in a relationship even.
Like average convo would be like
You: Why's it so hot all of a sudden, it was raining seconds ago.
Nami: Cause you graced the Grandline with your presence gurl.
You: Nah it's cause it can't handle how gorgeous you are.
Tumblr media
On a more serious-ish note, y'all would be a crazy fun trio with Ussop. Literally the first people to run out of dangerous situations.
Luckily you were atleast able to fight on the chance of someone really strong going after you guys. Ussop would be defence. Nami would be a bit of both.
Sometimes you, Robin, Nami, Ussop and maybe even Chopper would sit in the women's quarters and talk about anything and everything. Literally gossip, latest news over the transponder snail, anything.
But overtime that would change a bit between y'all. Not too much though.
If anyone came close to flirting with you besides her she would either;
1. If they owed her money she'd triple the interest.
2. Pull you away smoothly
Sometimes she'd even make your debt go up just by talking about someone you find attractive. Like...gurl why, I'm broke enough.
Tumblr media
When she finally confesses it's almost like...was there ever a difference? Because the both of you loved each other since you got to know one another. Both you are queens when it comes to ruling people's heart's with just a glance. But all you need is each other, maybe some cash too.
Robin
Can't say you guys got along in the first place with her working with Crocodile but once she had joined the crew you began to warm up around each other.
Most times you'd read together. Or you would ask about what she read about and all the things she knows about history.
Other times she'd want to hear what's on your mind be it you talking for a little or spilling out word vomit about everything and anything on your mind and she'd only look on with a gentle, loving smile.
Sometimes you worked together to scare your crewmates. Either her saying something like "We could actually die here." in the worst moment possibele, much to Ussop's dismay and you would add to that. Eyebags and everything and be like," what if we already are and we don't realise it."
Which leads to a small debate since the crew had gone through so much and all.
One thing I would definitely know for a fact is that the moment Robin was free and the moment you caught sight of Spandam, death would have been merciful compared to what you two did to that man.
Tumblr media
All in all, you and Robin would be like a love as calm as sitting together reading one book in the same blankets while there's a storm outside
