tips on how to prioritize yourself?

to me it's more so a mindset to develop versus a checklist of things you physically have to cross off but:

start viewing self-care as an essential not an option, focus on your well-being above all else. if u treat urself badly that is what reflects upon the impression others pick up on with how they should be treating u themselves

truly become okay with the concept of being alone you need to develop confidence within your own abilities and build a sense of reliance within your own nature to overcome your own limitations

stop viewing other people in your dynamic as competition this is your world and they're literally just in it (also understand that someone else's attractiveness/accomplishments in life literally does not = your lack thereof)

NEVER center your existence around somebody else, especially a MAN. relationships should be the thing you fit around your other commitments, not the other way around

set clear and solid expectations and boundaries with people.

keeping my living spaces consistently clean is something else that helps me prioritize myself as well, maintaining a respectable environment no matter if it's my apartment, car, work space, etc, makes me feel more collected and high value

This might get longer so apologies already but I'm just glad more people seem to appreciate book characters now. I started with the show but after reading the books I realized how much the show stripped these characters off their personalities even mal! But my issue is people saying Alina is a blank character because that's not true. Yeah okay she's not the loud overpowered girlboss™️ but she does have a personality and an interesting one when you actually pay attention. It's subtle so people just look over it (because readers are kinda dumb and don't read 🙄). She's complex! She had so much room for growth and an arc towards self acceptance (no I don't think she needed to be a queen to achieve that) but anything else yk? And the show could've done that but instead the show made it worse. Alina is snarky and grumpy and bitter too lol. She can be such a hater sometimes and I love it. The fact that she's aware of the fact that girls only talk to her because they want to be close to Mal through her pisses her but she's just used to being treated like an afterthought. The moment she becomes something and finds a purpose and her own people she glows literally and figuratively. I wish so much that the show had added all that. I loved that the "sun summoner" wasn't the biggest sun shine all the time like the show in s1 simplified Alina down to. Sorry this got too long but I just get annoyed when people don't pay attention to Alina's character and personality.

Yeah she’s genuinely not a blank slate, I don’t understand the insistence that she is. I love her dour recalcitrance and snark. She’s a really fun character and she deserved better 🥲

PILATES, YOGA, BARRE, AND SOLIDCORE!!!

Hi girlies! lets talk wellness. I love working out and moving my body so naturally I have been a gym girlie, to a pilates girlie, to a yoga girlie... ive done it all! I swear lol. trying all these different workouts out gave me the best workout routine ever!

3 solid core classes/week

1 hot vinyasa yoga/week

1-2 at home pilates inspired workout/week

SolidCore is my FAVORITE. it's a Pilates inspired workout that gives you one of the hardest challenges in your life! I can definitely say after 5 classes you feel super strong and your body just feels so much better! since its a core focused workout, ive noticed a huge decrease in bloating and overall helped me achieve toned stomach, arms, and legs! it is most definitely a lot harder than pilates!

when I was in my yoga era, I fell in love with vinyasa. basically a practice of yoga that involves a continuous flow. my local yoga studio, offers a HIIT Vinyasa in a 99 degree room. its the best strength building class that will make you sweat and stretch at the same time.

to keep the consistency, I do a couple workouts at home in between my classes. ive done barre and traditional pilates at a studio but ive noticed that those workouts can easily be done any home AND WE ALL KNOW THESE CLASSES ARE EXPENSIVE ASF!!! so I barre/pilates inspired classes at home! these are some of my favorite videos to follow along! I promise they work just as great!

One important thing to keep in mind when leveling up, is that next level won't feel magical forever. The initial awe and excitement will wear off as it usually does because we are human and capricious, and our egos/minds are wired to jump from one desire to the next.
