My input on Mobius being a dad in his timeline:
I genuinely think he is a single or divorced dad mostly because there's no wedding band visible in the trailer
I think marvel is setting up Loki being a step parent to them because of the fact Thor adopted a kid and they're working on the next generation of superheroes (Kate Bishop,America Chaves etc) they'll probably want a friendship between the two
He's a girl dad I can just feel it
Also him acting fatherly might heal a part of me ngl

*SPOILER FIC FOR LOKI S2 FINALE*
Do not read until you have watched or are otherwise ready to be spoiled. THIS IS YOUR WARNING!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Idunn & The Golden Apple
In the village of Time’s Ridge, they say when a little girl is sacrificed, she is adopted by the gods and granted any wish she makes. When the orphan Idunn is driven over the side, she blinks and finds herself before a mysterious entity known as the God of Stories. Luckily, in order to gain his favor, she brings a small sacrifice of her own before his glowing throne.
Characters: Loki, OFC (child), cameos of Thor and Mobius  Genre: Tragedy, Comfort, Found Family Word Count: 3.3k Content Warnings: SPOILERS FOR LOKI S2 FINALE!, Loki gives off dad vibes, child sacrifice
Tumblr media
This time, the annual sacrifice at Time's Ridge was almost a scandal. Woeful Idunn was only ten-years-old.
She stood on the precipice, overlooking the glowing green abyss she’d once played beside thoughtlessly, unaware at the time that it was about to become her grave. Her thick red hair was woven into two braids, laced with daisy blossoms. Idunn was wearing a gray frock meant to symbolize her mortality and humility, she kept her hands in the pocket of her simple, tattered pinafore, her left hand curled around a small ball hidden away.
Instead of weeping like most sacrifices did, Idunn was choosing to go with at least a little dignity (not that anyone was there to be awed by her maturity--being an orphan, no one really cared how she looked anyway). Perhaps she wasn’t even all that upset about being picked by the Leader to die on behalf of Time’s Ridge. A less-brained individual might be flattered by being selected.
Of course, Idunn knew better. The only reason she was here was because no one would miss her.
The green glow of the bottomless pit was somewhat new, and that was when The Ritual began, some two generations before Idunn was born and left to die by a helpless mother. No explanation was given, but the green aura of the trench appeared, and suddenly: the perpetual storms plaguing the fields ceased. People stopped disappearing mysteriously…at least until things began getting worse again. Then, only a few years before Idunn was born, a child fell into the trench and disappeared, but time and the weather stabilized again, and so it was accepted that  only the gift of a child’s wish brought personally to whatever god watched over Time’s Ridge, the sad little village at the end of the universe, would bring safety back.
It was always such an honor to be picked to die, until it was your turn. Then, if you were fortunate enough to have a parent of means, your only hope to live to see the following year was to have them bribe the Leader to pick someone else.
“Idunn, Blessed Daughter of Time’s Ridge!” The Leader began his ceremonial monologue, which was surprisingly ho-hum for being the prologue to child homicide. “Today, you are being sent into the Higher Worlds to seek out aid for our small community--”
I’m not waiting for this, the little girl thought. Let’s just get it over with. I have nothing to stay for. She covertly pulled the golden ball from her pocket and held it up, slowly turning before the crowd.
“May I eat before I jump?” she asked. Gasps rang out.
“Where did she get one of those?” someone called out.
The Leader smiled sadly, shaking his head. “You may, Little Idunn. Though I am not sure as to where you found one. But be aware, silly girl, even one of those won’t save your conscious life now.”
Idunn  twisted her lip, looking at the golden apple in her hand, shrugging and taking a large bite. The taste was as if the Creators themselves invented the perfect sweet. The crisp skin snapped between her teeth, and the delicious juices felt almost like a cool, gentle tea rolling over her tongue.
I just hope the weird peddler who sold it to me was right, Idunn thought bravely, looking down at the apple as the bite mark she made instantly healed itself, creating a perfectly full piece once more.
A bolt of lightning broke overhead, causing the little girl to jump backwards, startled, her courage failing her for the first time.
“An honorable sacrifice should not be afraid of a little lightning,” mocked a cruel adolescent from the crowd.
Idunn looked back over her shoulder at her glowing tomb. “I’m not overly fond of what follows,” she replied, deciding to turn around, the juices and magic sugars from the golden apple beginning to fall into her stomach and move around inside, warming her core.
Work quickly, work quickly…come on…
She breathed in and raised her voice, which boomed many times larger than her petite body would suggest she could utter. “I hate you all, and I would live forever with no guilt at all if it meant each one of you got to fall into the pit in my place. I hope the timeline frays and swallows you all whole!”
The disapproving murmurs from her assembly of executions gave her a small pinch of satisfaction. One last victory for the condemned. She couldn’t delay it any more when the cruel Leader signaled for the pounding, rhythmic drums to sound.
Fine, even if this is it for me, I don’t want to be here anyway.
The only regret Idunn had in the moment before she fell forward into the abyss was that she was born in Time’s Ridge, a place so afraid of the shifts in time and space that were otherwise so natural around their realm that they would throw children off cliffs in order to make the gods happy.
Gods, Idunn thought. Good thing gods aren’t real.
Idunn decided not to give the Leader the satisfaction of reciting the poetic Final Prayer of the Sacrifice, and instead did a graceful twist of her small body, her red braids flying about her face and standing out even in the twilight suns, falling over with just enough time to wave goodbye to the village before meeting her fate at the bottom of a fraying timeline’s abyss.
The little girl felt the sensation of falling…more falling…even more…then a blinding green light followed by the feeling of being lifted by a thin arm or branch---
Gods aren’t real. Gods aren’t real.  Gods aren’t real. Gods aren't--
Tumblr media
Infinite branches of time, universes, were binding Loki to his throne amidst a sea of green matter and light, where he would be sitting until time itself decided to rip his duties from him and end existence.
That…that would be soon, right?
Worse than the eons that were beginning to pass before his eyes without him, promising adventures he would never have, romantic nights he would never see, were the whispers, the noises. Loki could hear every spoken voice in every timeline, but they were all a low, maddening hum that rang in his ears as he sat, legs apart, in his supernatural throne room, nothing but the years for company. Of course, the voices of those he knew in life were the loudest and hardest to hear.
And he was hungry. So. Damn. Hungry.
Even Gods needed to eat, but what was there to find in Loki’s palace of emerald and gold, buried underneath countless layers of timeline branches, ensnared in the prison of Yggdrasil? Loki couldn't die of starvation, but the hunger pangs would frequently send surges of pain through his core, out his arms, and as a result, a few timelines would flicker for a moment before regaining normalcy. It was likely these places would only see inclement weather or a few years of time skipped over as a result.
It was painful, but the only way Loki could check on his few allies was through the branches tying him to his noble seat. Sometimes, he would follow the sound of Mobius’ slow voice and find his favorite timeline: where Mobius was happy, retired, living with his adult sons and their spouses and children on a cabin by the beach (three jet skis and an ATV in the garage, of course).
He smiled as he saw OB’s TVA manuals and novels being stored away in a timeproof capsule for posterity, ensuring his legacy. The little man was never taller.
He’d even caught a glimpse of Thor from time to time, and Loki had spent countless hours following him from afar as he traveled with a small band of space brigands. He even managed a chuckle upon seeing what Thor was getting up to: “Father would be embarrassed…and that music is terrible.”
Not that it mattered.
He was forever burdened with glorious purpose, just as he’d prophesied as an arrogant youth. Now, I’m gloriously burdened, Loki thought. He nearly smirked at the poetic irony, or perhaps it was justice for his past transgressions that fit the same meter. A Loki with freedom would have enjoyed the twist for what it was.
A tear formed at the corner of his left eye at the thought. Forever. Here. No food or love or friendship to keep his heart from slowly eroding away with the millennia.
Suddenly, the branches around Loki’s wrists began shaking, writhing in his grip, as if a blustery wind disturbed them. He looked up, his eyes following one of the timelines furthest away from his immediate sight: a gray and lethargic piece of the Tree of Life. As the other tendrils of time began shaking furiously at some invisible disturbance, this branch suddenly exploded into a thread of white hot light before curling in on itself and returning to its original state.
Loki attempted to get to his feet, but he was still bound by the thousands of other timelines he protected. No matter, the odd shift in the air quickly subsided, at least until a brief ‘pop’ was audible from somewhere ahead of Loki’s line of vision, buried behind the twisting strings of time.
“Odd,” analyzed the God of Stories, “but amounting to nothing.”
Alas, he was wrong. For almost immediately after his declaration that the anomaly was of no concern: a small, high voice cooed from beyond the branches.
“H…hello?”
Loki felt his heart still, his skin cool, and a strange current in the air moved about the green chamber, rustling the hem of his cape where it met his boots. It was the first time since he took his place on the throne that it did so.
No, it’s a trick.
“HELLO?”
No one, no mortal could survive being here. It’s why it had to be me…
“Is there someone here?”
No, that’s certainly another’s voice.
Loki dared to hope after all this time. He opened his mouth to reply…but nothing fell out other than a few sharp notes and breath. Had it been so long since he’d used his vocal chords?
Out of the tangle of time streams before Loki, a diminutive, pale figure stumbled over herself, gripping something yet unseen in her hand, wearing a disgusting, dirty gray slip. A little girl, no older to existence than a spring lamb.
Norns, it’s a child!
“Is this heaven?” the little girl asked, brushing a fiery red braid from her shoulder and walking hesitantly into the throne room. “Or somewhere else?”
Loki’s mouth hung open, but his words still somehow failed him.
“Are you The Creator, or some God? Are you real? I didn’t think you would be. I guess I’m glad you are.”
The questions were pouring out of Idunn’s mouth so quickly that Loki was reminded of himself as a child, when he’d ask his mother one too many questions.
“Maybe I should--”
“Who are you?”
Idunn was so startled at the Green King’s first successful words to her, she leapt backwards, tumbling over a branch that her ankle met by accident. Loki nearly attempted to rise again.
“Are you alright?”
“I’m Idunn,” said the girl, regaining composure remarkably quickly.
“...Loki.”
A moment of awkward silence went by before Idunn took another step back toward the throne. “Are all those a part of you?” she asked, her thoughts as aimless and unorganized as any ten-year-old’s.
Loki looked up into the time vines, feeling smaller and more alone than ever in the surreal presence of this little creature who’d managed to survive an entrance into open time without being torn into tiny threads and scattered across space.
“I suppose they are.”
Idunn sighed, shrugging and positioning herself at his feet. “I didn’t know gods were real. I thought they were just an excuse to--”
“--oh, gods are real, little one--”
“--get rid of me.”
Loki fell silent again, this time stunned at the bluntness of the child, and the darkness of her admission.
“What kind of miniature sorceress are you, Miss Idunn?” he asked, his voice starting to lighten in an attempt to alleviate the child’s fears. “Your powers must be fearsome if you stand before me now fully intact.”
“I’m not a witch,” Idunn conceded. “They just chose me for the sacrifice this year, and I had something to help myself survive.”
Loki didn’t know what part of this distressing declaration to address first. “Sacrifice?”
Idunn nodded, looking about the branches above her head, pointing to the one that was still recovering from the intrusion. “Time’s Ridge. They call it The Village at the End of the Universe. They sacrifice a child every year to stop the storms.”
The God of Stories was aware of the histories of many of his burdensome tethers by now, but even Time’s Ridge was a mystery to him.
“Sacrifice?” he repeated as the oblivious blatherskite before him went on, her fears quickly alleviating into a more normal enthusiasm that suited a youth her age.
“Yes,” affirmed the girl, “but the night before they took me to the abyss, a strange man came by my cell window and offered me this.”
She showed Loki the golden apple, causing his jaw to drop again. The girl was unfamiliar, but the apple was unmistakably Asgardian. A rare delicacy, the Golden Apples of Asgard gave the Gods their eternal youth and immortality. Every god had a single one on their person, for sometimes one could find themselves pulling back from the edge of oblivion by virtue of one bite.
They were so rare because they were so difficult to cultivate. Any one mistake during the process would render the apples lethal to even the Allfather. The only grower Loki knew to be alive was an elderly Asgardian somewhere out in the cosmos. How he made his way to this little urchin teetering at the edge of everything and knew to offer her the last apple in existence, Loki couldn’t even guess.
“Did he say where he got that?” Loki’s eternal hunger suddenly caught up with him again upon seeing the golden apple in her small hand.
“No. All I can remember is that he was very strong and handsome for a peddler. Only other thing I can remember is that he was blonde. Oh, and he had a big hammer with him, too. I think he was looking for me directly, like he knew who needed this.”
Loki’s cold skin shot back into a warm heat that made two more tears stain his cheeks.
Idunn looked regretful. “Oh, no, I didn’t mean to make you cry! Did you want a bite?”
Loki looked sadly off to his sides. “I cannot eat. I cannot let go of even a single one of these timelines, little one. I couldn’t hold an apple or a spoon.”
The child looked from Loki to the apple, and back. “So then I’ll help!” she said as simply as if it were the answer to 1 + 1.
Before the god could protest, or even ask, Idunn had taken it upon herself to climb Loki’s throne and sit in his lap, holding the unbitten apple before his lips. “Don’t you want--?”
Loki didn’t wait, his hunger overriding any sense of decorum, and accepted a large mouthful of fruit, almost unhinging his jaw like a snake to consume as much sustenance in a single crumb as he could. As a result, Loki had accounted for half of the apple with his bite. Idunn giggled at Loki’s accomplishment.
The food was not only the single most delicious morsel of food he’d ever consumed, but he felt it travel down to his stomach before warmly blossoming, artificially filling his stomach for the time being. The pains subsided almost immediately, and a surge of energy filled Loki’s veins.
Then, something remarkable happened that he didn’t expect. The timelines glowed gold instead of green for a moment, and each one that was even remotely loose or frayed was repaired and made stronger than it had been before. Small orbs of gold began appearing above their heads, looking as if golden apples were growing on the branches of the World Tree. Idunn gasped.
“Pretty!” she whispered. “I didn’t know these could do that!” she declared excitedly, looking down at the apple.
“Nor I,” said Loki, his gratefulness to the strange girl present in his tone. I wonder if this is affecting the beings within?
“Do you have children?” asked Idunn, suddenly. Loki shook his head, his large, horned diadem nearly whacking the girl off her perch.
“No. Do you have…parents?” he asked hesistantly in return.
“No. No one wanted me.”
Loki’s heart went out to the child. “I know the feeling.”
Idunn sighed. “Why do you think they picked me to jump at Time’s Ridge?”
Loki looked sadly down at the apple in Idunn’s fist, already repairing itself.
“I’m alone,” Idunn continued. “I had to come here in order to save everyone else while they move on with their lives without me. No family, no reason to expect to find one.”
Norns, am I looking into a mirror?  Loki smiled, feeling an odd new sensation one could only describe as paternal. “Perhaps…when two unloved, unwanted people find each other, there’s a family to be found there, little one.”
Time passed, how much neither the entombed god nor the condemned child knew, but this was because neither cared. It was here that The God of Stories was able to share his own tales for the first time, and once he and Idunn moved past the initial shock of discovering one another here, in the darkest and least likely of places, his long stretches of details quickly became libraries’ worth.
Idunn may have been young, but her maturity was at least partially Asgardian. Loki suspected her heritage could have been closer to his own peoples’ than one would expect of one of the lowly residents of the edge of time. As such, Loki found his paternal instinct toward Idunn grow, and as infinite measures of time began to pass, he began encouraging her to eat and rest in between stories and songs. After all, she was only as immortal as the apples made her. She was not a god, nor a full Asgardian.
Before long, Loki felt compelled to say what had slowly begun to creep into his mind once she appeared: it’s so wonderful having someone to talk to.
Instead, he addressed what he least wanted to. “Idunn,” he said. “Unlike myself, you are free to leave here at any time.”
She sighed. “Are you tired of me now?”
He quickly denied her with a sad face and a headshake. “I suppose I just wanted to inform you that you could probably enter any one of these timelines and find a better world to live in than the one you knew…and the one that is here.”
Are you mad? thought Idunn. Why would I leave you, the first person to ever listen to me?
“No, I think I’ll stay here a while. You need someone to help you eat, and I need…”
Loki smiled and completed her thought. “...a glorious purpose?”
“Exactly.”
She nodded. “As long as I have this, and as long as you won’t tell me to jump off a ridge, then I will be here for you, King Loki.”
“Sweet daughter Idunn,” Loki whispered in relief, “just know one final thing: please don't call me King Loki.”
Idunn giggled and threw her arms around Loki’s shoulders in an embrace of perfect love and trust. For the moments she couldn’t see his face, Loki allowed the tears to fall freely.
Thus, the Goddess of Youth took her place alongside the God of Stories, giving him the strength and companionship he needed to hold reality aloft on his shoulders for however long the whims of fate would have him there.
For as long as she stayed there, Loki never knew loneliness again.
Tumblr media
Yeah, this fic is basically "a wild daughter appears!" like Thor: L&T was for Thor, but Loki just can't and shouldn't be alone on top of the multiverse like that. Come on, y'all.

happy new years, my loves!
to start off the year, here are some prompts and headcanons that you’re free to use or simply discuss! and i want to remind you all that my dms are open to everyone if you want to have a chat <3
“why are you crying, loki?”
loki loves to pick flowers and gives them to his loved ones
“loki don’t bite!”
he’s an angry baby…
if he does not wish to be separated from frigga (or any comfort person), he will have the biggest tantrum till he’s returned to her
he doesn’t understand gender all that much, which isn’t unusual for a baby but it’s completely lost on him. so he expresses himself very freely, through watching shows targeted at girls, collecting flowers, watching sylvie put makeup on (the rare times that she does) and going through her clothes and playing with “girl’s” toys. he sometimes asks to wear dresses that he sees in store windows, eventually they’ll get him a special one… though thor will need some convincing
he also loves his mother’s clothes
what if… odin was a good dad? yes i am in the process of writing some short fics of this
he gets the zoomies! then he runs around the room and often has to be taken outside to get the beans out!
he loves to be ‘naked’ (just a nappy on, curtesy of @archaiceuphoriah for this one)
he loves to play with either thor’s beard or mobius’ moustache, they’re very fascinating. he also loves the feel of them when he gets kisses
he loves to watch people and what they’re doing, especially frigga when they’re in her morning room with guests
do not interrupt the prince’s beauty sleep! you have been warned.
he loves footie onesies, so comfy…
he also loves to stay in his pyjamas as long as he’s allowed, they’re very cozy, okay?
as children, thor would always take great care with his little brother. he would take him to the gardens to explore, and sneak into the kitchens to find baked goods and once loki grew tired and wanted his mummy, thor would carry his small brother back

Spoilers Loki s2 e5
I have a lot to say!!! (this will be long)
Ok first of all this scene made me laugh a lot because of how randomly they presented the original timeline of Mobius, he looks like a child playing (oh and him being a single dad it makes a lot of sense to me)
expectation:
Tumblr media
reality:
Tumblr media
Oh my f*cking god If I liked O.B before, now I love him with all my soul! He is not only a nerdy genius but a science fiction geek whose passion is to be a writer!!! And why didn't they let him keep his books in the bookstore?! I would gladly buy them!! Just look at his face, he needs a hug :(
Tumblr media
AND WHY THE FUCK DID THEY NOT HELP HIM WHEN THE BOOKS DROPPED ON HIM?! IT COSTS NOTHING TO BE KIND DAMN IT
Tumblr media
Ok, I think we've all realized that O.B's workshop is the same as the basement where he works at the TVA, maybe he was the one who created the TVA after all? btw how beautiful the photography is in this entire series.
Tumblr media
I admit it, I laughed my ass off at this scene, I apologize (make it a meme pls lol) Honestly, this whole scene and the interactions that O.B had with Loki made me laugh (when Loki tries to control his timeslipping or when O.B electrocutes him as scientific proof)
Tumblr media
This scene where Loki adjusts his hair and his jacket to see Mobius 👀 (he only does it with him) I wonder what the Sylki fans have to say
Tumblr media
Remember how I said I hated Hunter X5/Brad Wolfe? Well I was wrong, there is one person I hate more, her. Girl, they're literally telling you that everything is going to shit and you don't give a damn? On top of that, when they tell you that you are selfish, do you take it naturally as if it were something to be proud of? Why are you like this? The worst thing of all is that when Loki says he wants his friends back she calls him selfish, not sweetheart, that's not being selfish. Being selfish is turning a blind eye to a problem that you mainly caused. Loki's fear of being alone is understandable and justified since he felt that way all his life and has done all the things he did for that same reason, which It's being really selfish, it's the opposite, wanting to be alone and forget your friends and not care that their timelines are falling apart. Sylvie you are a hypocrite (sorry I had to vent)
Tumblr media
AAAAAAAAAA I'M GOING TO CRY GOD. I said it and I will always say it Loki needs a hug 😭 This scene is super moving because it shows us Loki's true purpose, he just wants his friends back, who are also people he hasn't known for a long time but who were attentive to him (btw Tom Hiddleston always shines in all his scenes )
Tumblr media
This scene...holy shit this scene was scary. I think it's even more terrifying than Thanos' snap.
Tumblr media
It's overwhelming how everything around her disappears in seconds leaving her in literal emptiness. There is absolutely nothing left, only threads floating in an enveloping blackness. When I saw that scene I felt empty and desolate.
Tumblr media
OH SHIT HERE WE GO AGAIN...
Tumblr media
NOOOOOOO MOBIUS NOT YOU (He just wanted to save his children 😭)
Tumblr media
Loki's face when he sees his friend disappear D: (I'm having deja vu from the first season when Mobius was pruned)
Tumblr media
Sylvie too?! Why does she disappear and Loki doesn't? (By the way, you just arrived Sylvie when you realize that everything is disappearing? really?)
Tumblr media
Ok this is a nightmare for Loki, he was left alone and couldn't do anything to avoid all that, I think it's the most hopeless scene of the episode :( (And the way he tries to grab those threads…I'm broken)
Tumblr media
OK HEAR ME OUT BECAUSE I HAVE A LOT TO SAY ABOUT THIS SCENE. I think the background voices help a lot with the feeling of anguish and helplessness that Loki feels, for not being able to save what he loved most, his friends. And when you feel overwhelmed by all those voices and at the end one stands out and it's Sylvie's voice saying something like what makes a Loki a Loki is the fact that we are destined to lose? That's when he screams in despair and goes back in time just a few seconds earlier and manages to control his timeslipping. And I must say that at first when I saw this scene it reminded me a lot of the scene from the movie "Ella Enchanted" when she is forced to kill the prince and she is surrounded by mirrors and begins to remember moments of her life such as when her mother told him to trust her or something like that (I don't remember the scene much, I saw it years ago lol) the point is that she refuses with all her heart to obey that order and in a moment of desperation she screams just like Loki and she says that she will no longer be obedient and drops the dagger, freeing herself from the spell. I don't know if you understand my point because I'm bad at explaining, but I think that the love he feels for his friends was what made him go back in time, that strong desire to want to make things right and that determination to say "this isn't true." It can end like this, I decide what is going to happen" (free will) I think that is what makes him finally able to control the situation, love is the most powerful force. Something similar happens in the movie "Tomorrowland" I think.
Tumblr media
This scene is really powerful, the background music, the phrases that Loki says, the context of the scene, it is cinema. I think you don't need an action scene or scenes for a scene to be epic and move you. This is epic with so little, it is simple but effective. And the music is really the icing on the cake, it is so hopeful and gives strength to the moment when Loki returns to the TVA being able to fulfill his mission, I cried. Loki has evolved into a hero who saves the day and everyone.
Tumblr media
And that ending??! Oh no the cliffhanger again..
Tumblr media
Phew I know this was very long but I really needed this kind of catharsis, never has a Loki episode left me with so many emotions and beautiful things like this one. I laughed, I got excited, I cried and I was scared. I am very happy with the evolution of Loki and each episode that passes wins my heart more, I can't wait to see the next chapter. Everything is perfect in this series, the music, the settings, the actors, etc. It shows that it is made with the heart

I don’t think we appreciate the sheer hilarity of Mobius picking Sylvie up in the void enough like him popping up with a pizza truck is funny all on its own but Sylvie’s from the bottom of her heart genuinely astonished “you?!?” reaction to seeing him bc like girl has absolutely no idea that Loki also spent his time seeding rebellion while they were doing being arrested like she has no idea until this moment that Mobius has been introduced to and started using her name or even that he has changed his opinions and allegiances let alone that he got pruned for his betrayal and has been knocking about in the void since before either she or Loki. Then to cap it all off with the absolute dad of a “pls shut the door also you should be careful jumping into a strangers car like that” like he’s just going full dad mode on her immediately. Followed by her sassing him and him being like “god you really are one of you” like that whole scene is amazing

Hedgehog Hodgepodge: A Story of Espionage, Confusion, and an Evil Plan Gone Haywire
Chapter 15: Double-O Shadow
One look at her mother’s worried face told Aurora that this was no stunt. Amy threw her arms around her daughter as soon as she walked in the door.
“Hi, Mom,” she said, returning the sudden embrace. “Where’s Dad?”
“He went for a run when he heard the news,” Amy replied, absentmindedly rubbing her growing abdomen. “My guess is that he’ll stop by Tails’ and CC’s house. He wants to keep them in the loop, even though they’re leaving soon to exhibit his old plane.” She closed her eyes and a tear escaped and rolled down her cheek.
“Can you tell me what this is all about?” Aurora rushed to say before her mother completely broke down. “All Shadow said was that I was in danger and we had to leave town!”
Amy settled herself on the sofa and motioned for Aurora to join her.
“All I know is that when he left a couple of weeks ago, he was called away to interpret a coded transmission between Mobius and another planet. It took him awhile, but he finally translated the message.” She paused, gathering her thoughts.
“What did the message say?” asked Aurora.
“It said that there is an unknown entity gathering forces to attack a specified target…”
“AND?…”
“Sweetheart, that target is you,” Amy finished, fresh tears spilling down her face.
Aurora felt like she had been punched in the stomach. “But why?” she asked. Panic was beginning to rise deep within her chest. “Why would anyone want to attack me?”
“We don’t know,” Amy said, pulling tissues from a nearby box. “That was the only part of the transmission that was detected.”
Aurora was in shock. “What happens now?”
Wiping her eyes, Amy checked her watch. “I’ll let your father and Shadow explain that when they return, which should be soon.”
Sonic made it back before Shadow. When he found his baby girl waiting inside, he pulled her close and held her tightly.
“Daddy?” she asked after what felt like an eternity. “Mom told me about the message. What will we do next?”
“Shadow has a plan,” he said thickly. Was her father… crying?! Aurora couldn’t take it; she dissolved into tears and sobbed into his shoulder.
About that time, a rumbling engine could be heard pulling up in front of the house. Releasing Aurora, Sonic went out to greet the new arrival. He came back with Shadow, who was sporting a black leather jacket with red stripes. He was holding the helmet he had made for her.
“Why don’t you just use Chaos Control?” Sonic asked. “Wouldn’t that be easier? And quicker?”
“And safer?” Amy chimed in, looking at the motorcycle idling out front.
Shadow shook his head. “The technology behind the transmission of that message was especially advanced. Until we have a better understanding of its source, I’d prefer a less detectable means of transportation.”
Sonic looked skeptical. “So cruising around on a motorcycle with a pretty girl behind you is supposed to be inconspicuous?”
“Not inconspicuous - less detectable,” Shadow corrected. “If they know her background, they’ll know that her father is the unabashed ringleader of a band of emerald-happy exhibitionists! They’ll be looking for concentrations of Chaos Energy around her!”
Sonic opened his mouth to argue, but he knew Shadow wasn’t wrong.
Then a thought struck Aurora. “Wait,” she said, looking wide-eyed at her parents. “You two aren’t coming with us?”
Amy and Sonic exchanged glances, like they’d had a difficult conversation they didn’t want to repeat. “Pumpkin, I can’t,” Amy sighed. “We’re getting closer to the baby’s due date and my doctor doesn’t want me traveling. Your father is staying with me because I may need help. We know Shadow will keep you safe, and we trust him. Isn’t that right, Sonic.”
“I guess,” he mumbled reluctantly.
Aurora stood in shock, not believing that she was going to be allowed to go anywhere with Shadow alone. A sadness settled over her heart at the thought of being away from her parents for an extended amount of time. But she was also aware of another feeling stirring within her. No more boring, lonely evenings - the thrill of adventure was waiting! Wiping her eyes, she finally nodded, then turned to Shadow.
“Okay, but what about my apartment? If I leave, I may not be able to keep it. And I don’t have anywhere to store my extra furniture.”
Without batting an eye, Shadow answered her. “I’ve paid your rent up to a year in advance, installed additional locks on your door, had your mail forwarded, and programed your lights to turn on and off at random intervals.”
“Wow…” Aurora said, taken aback. “You’ve certainly thought of everything. But how did you get inside my…”
“Aurora,” Sonic interrupted. “Don’t you remember you’ve been dating a covert operative?” He glared at Shadow, agitated that he would take such liberties.
“I also took the opportunity to pack some of your things,” Shadow continued. Aurora looked at the small green duffel he was carrying alongside her shoulder bag.
Sonic’s hands balled into fists as he realized Shadow had raided Aurora’s closet.
“Um, thanks…” Aurora replied. Seeing her father nearing his boiling point, she moved to stand between the two of them.
“There’s something else we need to discuss,” Shadow continued, unrolling a soft bag to reveal several firearms inside.
“Really, Shadow…” Sonic said. He was beginning to second-guess this arrangement.
“She needs a weapon,” Shadow replied, unfazed.
“She is a weapon!”
“You know her spin dashes aren’t as quick as ours, and she can stay invisible for a short amount of time, but what if she needs something extra? We don’t know who the message came from or what we’re up against.”
Shadow turned to Aurora. “The holster here is on a belt that fits around your thigh. I can help you get it strapped on…”
“You touch her leg and I’ll break your hand!” Sonic railed.
The two male hedgehogs stood glowering at one another, eager to spar at a moment’s notice.
“Ugh. Give me that,” said Aurora, taking the weapon and securing it to her upper right leg.
“I’ll teach her the proper way to handle it and use it safely,” Shadow promised. He looked at Aurora and motioned to the door. “We need to get going.”
Aurora nodded, taking her helmet and walking out the door to Shadow’s motorcycle. Amy followed her, speaking affection and hope to her daughter through her own tears. Sonic disappeared briefly and returned with something in his hand.
Shadow had turned to leave when Sonic caught his arm. “Look, I know we’ve had our… abundant differences in the past, but I know you have Aurora’s best interests at heart. Take this,” Sonic said, handing Shadow a yellow Chaos emerald.
“I already have one,” replied Shadow.
“So do I. But you may need an extra more than I do. If anything, and I mean anything, goes wrong, you come here first.”
“Of course,” Shadow affirmed.
“And Shadow?” Sonic added.
“What?” replied Shadow, impatience in his tone.
Sonic’s face became uncharacteristically serious. “Hands off my daughter.”

God, you know ... I've been thinking about this for months, but the more it sits in my brain, the more hilarious it becomes.
The whole Odinson/daughter family would absolutely HATE Succession. Like, if Mobius or Tony Stark felt like being an absolute dick, this would be the show they'd put on when any one of them is around. I mean ...
Logan Roy = Abusive, narcissistic father who pits his kids against one another to inherit his corporate Dynasty.
Kendall Roy = The narcissistic golden boy. Dad's "favorite". Shit to his younger siblings and entitled as fuck. Thinks Roystar will be his.
Roman Roy = Oh, boy, here he is. My favorite slime puppy. The runt of the litter. Dad's favorite to abuse. Uses humor and assholery to hide Pain(TM). Actually, the smartest of the bunch and closest to "the favorite".
Shiv Roy = Only girl in the fam battling against the absolute misogynistic sausage fest of her siblings; ruthless and sharp but not that sharp; destroys everything for everyone but herself.
Connor Roy = Baldur
... just.
Tumblr media
Look at them. Look at them and tell me this isn't the dysfunctional Asgardian family in a nutshell. Succession is a satire on American capitalism and a Shakespearean familial tragedy. It makes sense.

Thalia Presley
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thalia Presley, a young girl with a mysterious past, was destined to be the target of a crucial mission taken on by Loki Laufeyson and Agent Mobius M. Mobius. As they embarked on their mission, they discovered Thalia, unaware of her true identity at the time.
Loki and Mobius, initially intending to fulfill their mission, soon found themselves unable to carry out the task of pruning Thalia. Something about her spark and potential touched both Loki and Mobius, causing them to see her as more than just a target. Instead, they made a life-altering decision to adopt her, becoming her loving and protective guardians.
Growing up under the watchful eyes of Loki Laufeyson and Mobius M. Mobius, Thalia inherited the snarky and sarcastic attitude of Mobius, often using her quick wit to navigate through challenging situations. At the same time, she couldn't resist embracing Loki's mischievous and annoying tendencies, finding joy in causing a bit of chaos whenever she could.
Thalia's upbringing was unique, as she was exposed to a blend of Loki's magical prowess and Mobius' expertise in the Time Variance Authority. This combination allowed her to develop a range of skills, including manipulation, illusion-casting, and a deep understanding of the timelines.
Despite her mischievous nature, Thalia possesses a strong sense of justice, instilled in her by Mobius' unwavering dedication to protecting the timeline. She uses her abilities and inherited traits to help her parents in their missions, often finding herself in the middle of intricate schemes and dangerous adventures.
Growing up in TVA
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As Thalia grows older, she begins to question her own identity and her place within the tangled web of timelines. With her two dads by her side, she embarks on a journey of self-discovery, seeking to uncover the truth about her origins while battling the forces that threaten the stability of the multiverse.
Thalia possesses a vibrant personality that combines the snarky and sarcastic nature of Mobius with the mischievous and cunning traits of Loki. She has a quick wit and a sharp tongue, often using humor as a defense mechanism or to diffuse tense situations. Thalia is known for her clever comebacks and sassy remarks, which sometimes get her into trouble but also make her endearing to those who know her well.
As the adopted daughter of Loki and Mobius, Thalia spent her formative years within the walls of the TVA. Surrounded by the enigmatic and often eccentric agents, she was exposed to the complex workings of the multiverse from a young age. While other children her age may have found the TVA intimidating, Thalia thrived in its structured environment, soaking up knowledge about the timelines and the various threats that the TVA guarded against.
Thalia's upbringing within the TVA granted her a unique perspective on the nature of time and reality. She became fascinated with the intricacies of the sacred timeline, constantly questioning its purpose and the boundaries it imposed. This curiosity, coupled with her inherited Loki-esque mischief, often led her to engage in unauthorized explorations of alternate timelines within the TVA's vast archives, much to the chagrin of the agents tasked with keeping order.
As Thalia matured, her natural abilities and innate understanding of the timelines caught the attention of the TVA's higher-ups. Recognizing her potential, she was offered the opportunity to train as an agent, a chance she eagerly embraced. Under the guidance of experienced TVA agents, Thalia honed her skills in combat, time manipulation, and investigation.
Thalia's training wasn't without its challenges. Her mischievous nature often clashed with the strict rules and regulations of the TVA, leading to occasional clashes with authority figures. However, her dedication to protecting the sanctity of the timelines and her desire to uncover the truth about her origins propelled her forward.
As an agent of the TVA, Thalia quickly gained a reputation for her resourcefulness, adaptability, and ability to think outside the box. She approached her missions with a combination of Loki's cunning and Mobius' analytical mindset, always seeking the most efficient and unexpected solutions to the problems at hand.
Throughout her journey, Thalia's love for her dads and her desire to prove herself worthy of their legacy served as a driving force. She strived to make her guardians proud while carving out her own path within the TVA, working tirelessly to maintain order in the multiverse and protect it from those who sought to disrupt its delicate balance.
In summary, Thalia Presley's personality reflects a blend of snarkiness, sarcasm, mischievousness, and wit. Growing up within the TVA provided her with a deep understanding of the timelines and a fascination with the workings of the multiverse. Becoming an agent allowed her to utilize her inherited traits and skills, making her a resourceful and adaptable force within the TVA's ranks.
Liv Stark
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thalia and Olivia Stark, or Liv, form an unlikely but strong bond as they cross paths while Thalia was traveling through different universes. Initially, their personalities seem to clash, with Thalia's snarky and mischievous nature contrasting with Liv's gentle and charming demeanor. However, as they spend more time together, they discover a deep connection and become best friends.
Thalia is drawn to Liv's smart and quick-witted nature, appreciating her ability to see through situations and offer unique perspectives. Liv, on the other hand, admires Thalia's confidence and daring spirit, finding her refreshing and intriguing.
Despite their differences, Thalia and Liv complement each other perfectly. Thalia's snarkiness and mischievousness add a touch of excitement and adventure to Liv's otherwise calm and composed life. Liv's gentle soul and easy-going nature, in turn, help to ground Thalia and provide a sense of stability in their friendship.
Their relationship is built on a foundation of trust and loyalty. Thalia becomes a source of support for Liv, helping her navigate her anxiety and providing a safe space for her to express her fears and insecurities. Thalia's mischievous nature often helps Liv break free from her own self-imposed limitations, encouraging her to embrace her own desires and take risks.
Liv, with her sweet and charming personality, acts as a grounding force for Thalia. She provides a calming influence, helping Thalia consider the consequences of her actions and think before leaping into dangerous situations. Liv's steadfastness and loyalty also serve as a reminder to Thalia of the importance of genuine connections and the power of friendship.
Their friendship is not without its challenges, however. Liv's stubbornness and tendency to sneak out to pursue her desires often clash with Thalia's mischievous instincts, leading to occasional conflicts. Yet, their strong bond allows them to overcome these differences and find common ground, ultimately strengthening their friendship.
Big Sister
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thalia and Arete share a complex and multifaceted relationship as step-sisters, with both love and friction existing between them. Despite their differences in personality and upbringing, their bond is strengthened by their shared connection to Loki and their mutual care for their family.
Thalia sees Arete as a fascinating and enigmatic figure. She is intrigued by her sister's carefree and bratty nature, finding it both amusing and frustrating at times. Thalia appreciates Arete's ability to live life on her own terms, unapologetically embracing her desires and indulging in her mischievous tendencies. Arete's rebellious spirit often inspires Thalia to break free from her own inhibitions and explore the world with a sense of abandon.
In contrast, Arete views Thalia as a younger sibling to protect and guide. She sees the spark of mischief and potential within Thalia, recognizing the influence of Loki and Mobius on her personality. Arete feels a sense of responsibility to help Thalia navigate her own powers and the complexities of their shared heritage. She acts as a mentor of sorts, teaching Thalia the ways of magic and encouraging her to embrace her own unique abilities.
While they may clash at times due to their contrasting personalities, Thalia and Arete share a deep bond rooted in their shared bloodline and familial love. They understand each other's struggles and are always there to support one another, even in the most challenging of circumstances. Thalia admires Arete's fierce loyalty to their family and her fearlessness in the face of authority figures like Odin. Arete, in turn, appreciates Thalia's wit, resourcefulness, and determination to carve her own path.
Their relationship is not without its conflicts, particularly when it comes to Arete's more extreme tendencies. Thalia may struggle to understand and accept Arete's willingness to engage in violent acts for the sake of amusement. This disagreement often leads to heated arguments and moments of tension between them. However, their love for each other and their shared history ultimately prevails, allowing them to find common ground and reconcile their differences.
In essence, Thalia and Arete's relationship is a blend of admiration, frustration, and sibling camaraderie. They challenge and inspire one another, pushing each other to grow and embrace their individuality while always remaining fiercely protective of their shared family ties.
Lastly, like I do with all my OCs, here are the strength and weaknesses of Thalia Presley.
Strengths:
1. Quick-witted and Intelligent: Thalia possesses a sharp mind and quick thinking, allowing her to come up with clever solutions to problems on the fly. Her intelligence helps her navigate complex situations and adapt to new environments.
2. Master of Manipulation: Growing up with Loki's influence, Thalia has developed a natural talent for manipulation and deception. She can easily read people and situations, using her skills to her advantage when necessary.
3. Skilled in Magic and Time Manipulation: Thalia's upbringing within the TVA and her exposure to Loki's magical abilities have granted her a strong foundation in magic and time manipulation. She can cast illusions, manipulate timelines, and utilize her powers to gain an edge in battles or investigations.
4. Resourceful and Adaptable: Thalia excels at thinking on her feet and finding creative solutions to problems. She can adapt to new situations quickly and make the most of limited resources, making her a valuable asset in unpredictable scenarios.
5. Loyal and Protective: Thalia's loyalty to those she cares about, especially Lokius and Liv, is unwavering. She will go to great lengths to protect and support her loved ones, making her a reliable and steadfast ally.
Weaknesses:
1. Impulsive and Reckless: Thalia's mischievous nature and tendency to act on impulse can sometimes lead her into dangerous situations. She may prioritize excitement and chaos over careful planning, putting herself and others at risk.
2. Difficulty with Authority: Thalia's rebellious streak and resistance to strict rules and regulations can sometimes clash with authority figures. Her disregard for authority can lead to conflicts and strained relationships within structured environments like the TVA.
3. Emotional Vulnerability: Despite her confident and snarky exterior, Thalia can be emotionally vulnerable at times. Her past and the mysteries surrounding her origins may leave her with lingering insecurities and doubts, making her susceptible to emotional manipulation or self-doubt.
4. Overconfidence: Thalia's intelligence and skills can sometimes lead to overconfidence. She may underestimate certain threats or become too sure of her own abilities, which can put her in precarious situations.
5. Struggle with Trust: Due to her complex upbringing and the secretive nature of the TVA, Thalia may struggle to trust others fully. This can make it challenging for her to form deep connections or rely on others for help, potentially isolating her in times of need.
Hope you guys like her!

Adventures of Sonic The Hedgehog - Sonically Ever After (Screenshots & Review)
Tumblr media
And here we have what was the show's final episode, even though it originally aired out of order. It's got some unique features and also stands out quite strongly in my childhood memories of the show. That's because in the episode Tails briefly gets "turned into a girl" and this is one of my earliest memories of realizing I was trans without knowing how to articulate what I was feeling. As a kid, my friends and I would often make believe we were Sonic characters, and I was always the role of Tails (that's the reason my fursona is a fox, in fact!). I remember seeing this episode as a kid made me feel "weird and upset", and it would be quite along time for me to realize that this was because I'd already been taught to hate myself for being trans, sadly. Transgender kids need love and support, and creeps like ron desantis needs to fuck all the way off to whatever sewer they crawled out of.
Anyway, enough about childhood trauma - let's dig into this weird and wacky Fairy Tale themed episode!
Tumblr media
Poor Tails hurt his...well, tails!
The episode starts with Robotnik and his badniks chasing Sonic and Tails into a park. As they clash and occasionally make racist remarks like "no robots allowed in the park!", an elderly lady is reading fairy tales to some kids nearby (She's been seen in other episodes too, and apparently her name is Miss Saccharine). Among them are some recognizable faces such as the Sloth kids from "slow Going" and that elephant kid with freaky hands who is friends with Robotnik Jr.
Robotnik tells Scratch and Grounder to use a device they brought along that would help them teleport away for a quick escape. Somehow, the two badniks mess up in a way that instead teleports Robotnik, Sonic and Tails right into Miss Saccharine's fairy tale book, instead!
Tumblr media
Now in the story book world, Sonic and Tails are dressed in costumes and the backgrounds are noticeably much more detailed. This is one of this episode's unique features - it foreshadows the visual improvement that would occur in the Sonic SatAm cartoon in terms of background art. It's also rather fitting that I just reviewed the pilot too, because some of this episode shows just how nice the background art can be in the actual series! The outfits that Sonic and Tails are wearing are based on a story called "Hansel and Nettle", as it seems every fairy tale in Mobius has a naming parody of ones in our world. After exploring a forest and finding a house with chili dogs glued to the outside walls, Tails finally pulls up his dress and acknowledges that "he's a girl!" - and the fact that he just looked at his own crotch seems to  indicate he is incorrectly referring to his sex, rather than gender. Tails looks cute in the dress, but I have to wonder who decided they needed to draw boobs on a little 4 year old kid....*gives DiC the side eye* Robotnik emerges from the hut, and seems to be in the same situation as Tails in which his sex was at-least temporarily changed? He is dressed as a stereotypical witch, because old fairy tales just love their bigoted depictions of religious minorities.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Robotnik invites Sonic & Tails inside only to then reveal his identity and announce that the wants to eat them! The two manage to escape and we go back to seeing what's going on back in the regular Mobius world - Grounder is rather adorably enjoying the story time, while Scratch is trying to convince him to come help fix the machine so they can get Robotnik out of the book world.
Tumblr media
Grounder would rather listen to fairy tale stories than rescue his shitty dad.
Meanwhile, back inside said book world, Sonic and Tails have apparently  now taken shelter living at the home of "Snow Height and the Seven Squatty Guys" (with Sonic and Tails being two of the squatty guys).  This was one of the funnier fairy tale spoofs for me  as I found it cute that Snow was just really tall instead of "conventionally attractive" - although that is somewhat marred by the fact that she also seems to be mostly treated as an "ugly woman" joke. Robotnik shows up, trying to sell them chili dogs, and Tails stupidly just grabs and eats one, which poisons him. The only cure is a kiss from Snow Height, who is  weirded out by the idea of kissing an anthropomorphic fox child. Sonic promises to introduce her to prince charming if she does so, so she eventually caves and smooches Tails. Does this mean she has magic healing spit like Steven Universe?
Tumblr media
These backgrounds are lovely!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not accepting defeat, Robotnik then uses some sort of wind turbine to attack the household, almost blowing everyone away. Sonic tells Snow that Robotnik is her prince charming, and she somehow believes him even though she just saw him poison a child and attack her and all her friends! She fights the wind current and goes to smooch and hug on Robotnik.
Tumblr media
Looks like Snow Height was busy decorating for pride month!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sonic and Tails manage to escape the house, and pass by Cinderella and her Fairy Godfather, who is a parody of the guy from The Godfather movies. This was another one of the funnier gags in this episode, in my opinion. :)  Cinderella and the fairy Godfather both seem like nice folks, but sadly Robotnik runs by and steals Godfathers magic wand, then starts using it to torment Sonic and Tails. Snow Height catches up with the group and Robotnik turns her into a toad, and then threatens to turn Sonic and into a toad and fly as well...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I’ve never seen The Godfather, but cultural osmosis still tells me that Robotnik may regret stealing from him!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As this is happening, Scratch and Grounder finally think they've fixed the portal machine and use it again, but it doesn't go entirely as planned. Instead of extracting just Robotnik, they extract him as well as Sonic and Tails and a whole bunch of other fairy tale characters. Robotnik has a few new minions he brought with him, a dragon and a giant beatnik. Robotnik takes his magic wand and starts running rampant around Mobius, causing lots of trouble.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sonic brainstorms on what to do to stop him as well as help the fairy tale folks who were pulled into his world. Eventually, Sonic dresses as Rapunzel in a tower in the city, getting Robotnik's attention by offering him lots of gold. Once Robotnik scales the tower, Sonic lifts up Snow so she can kiss Robotnik, which turns  her human again. Robotnik falls out of the tower in surprise, and announces "I kissed a toad!". Grounder mentions that he kissed a toad once, and that "it was kind of nice. I think he liked me". Thus, we now know that Grounder is cool with kissing dudes, yay!
Tumblr media
Sonic makes his way back to the park, where Robotnik follows him with the dragon. Sonic realizes that the dragon has a thorn in his foot and pulls it out, and the dragon is very grateful, turning out to only be hostile because he was in pain.
Tumblr media
Sonic eventually gets the idea to go to the airport with Tails, and use a plane to write "Happily ever after" in the sky. This seems to interact with magic properties of the fairy tale book, allowing Robotnik's stolen magic wand and all the fairy tail characters to get pulled back into their own world again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As the last episode ends, Sonic addresses the audience. "Every story must end. Even this one. But it's no fairy tale to say, 'see ya soon for more Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog!'"
In the Sonic Says segment, Sonic teaches Tails about how cool libraries are. Good message, no notes - except that it's sad that books are under attack so much in the USA right now...
Tumblr media
This episode is quite a send off for the series! It has some very nice background art, and some cute and funny gags. Unfortunately, some of the fairy tales being referenced have some really unhealthy messages which the episode never addresses, so that marrs things a bit. Overall, though, it is still a cute ending for a very fun and lovable slapstick cartoon.
