You’ve Got the Wrong Guy!

prompt: @jokekinsjoke505: “Hey I need a new adoptive father's Roman and victor because I think this will be a good idea where either they kidnapped the wrong kid and it ended up with Roman and victor adopted the reader or that one day that the reader walks in while victor is peeling off a face and Roman are eating popcorn watching it happened but they just says ' I'm to tired for this shit' before walking out again and then acted like it never happened.”

“Who does this child belong to?” Asked Roman to his mercenary and dear friend, Victor. In front of him was Victor holding you, a small child, calm in demeanor despite being taken from the comfort of your own home and family.

“Maroni.” Victor replied without a single doubt. “That’s who you told me to grab and I grabbed the kid. Just like you asked. One cool kid if you ask me.” Victor continued, noticing Roman getting visibly upset. “I don’t get it, what’s the problem?”

“That!” Roman shouted, startling you enough to start struggling from Victor’s grasp. He gently set you down as Roman tore him a new one. “That’s the problem, you don’t even see your failure!” You stood behind the bleach-blonde man, trying to understand what was happening, you were just waiting for the ice cream you were promised, you were so hungry. “That’s not Maroni’s kid. I don’t even know who that is? Did you take some random child off the street?”

“I, uh, I don’t know. I could’ve sworn this is the kid.” Zsasz answered.

“I’m hungry.” You quietly mumbled, just loud enough for them to hear you.

“Yeah, I’ll get you something in just a second.” Zsasz assured you, patting your head gently as Roman kneeled down to your height. You flinched and backed up a step, remembering his blind anger from just moments before. “It’s alright, he’s a good guy.”

“Who are you, dear?” Roman asked you in such a kind manner that you completely forgot how scary he was.

“Y/N.” You simply stated.

“Where are your parents, y/n?” Roman questioned further.

“I don’t know…” You sighed. “I didn’t see them for a few days.” Roman looked up to Victor with worry in his eyes, and was surprised to see a smile on his face.

“Can we keep them?” Victor giggled a bit, even more when you grabbed his leg. “Please?”

“Y/N, would you want to stay with us instead of your parents?” Roman had asked you a very heavy question for a young child, but you had no idea what he would really be asking of you. Of course, you didn’t come from a happy life and this already seemed better. You just wanted a sense of belonging.

“Can I get ice cream?” You innocently requested of them.

“Of course, dear! What kind?”

“Uhhh…chocolate!”

“Victor, go get y/n some chocolate ice cream!” He commanded and Victor ran to fulfill your wish. “So, you’ll stay here?” He asked you once more.

“Yeah!” You exclaimed and hugged him around the neck. He felt his heart melt at your embrace and hugged you back, lifting you up to take you with him to the kitchen. “So, who are you?” You asked him.

“I’m Roman. And my partner over there is Victor.” He smiled to himself. In a matter of moments, he’d created a family. One he’d kill for.

Once you were given your bowl of ice cream, you were sold on this new life. Truth be told, you didn’t have the greatest parents. They were absent and neglectful, which was the exact reason Victor found you all alone. It was still unknown why he mistook you for the child of a notorious mobster. Roman had his suspicions that Victor had planned this, but he laid them aside knowing this was good for them. For you all.

The two of them scrambled to make you a room, promising to buy you anything you would ever want when tomorrow rolled around. You were thrilled to be taken in by these two strange men, forgiving both of them in your young, impressionable mind. Roman, for his anger, and Victor, for kidnapping and misleading you.

“Victor.” Roman lowly said after you were tucked in. “I do apologize for raising my voice at you.”

“It’s okay, I understand.” Victor looked down at the table, then felt a hand wrap around his.

“No, I shouldn’t have done it. Especially when you’ve improved our lives so much.” Roman sat beside him. “I don’t even care about that Maroni kid anymore. This is what I care about now. You and y/n.”

“You mean that?” Victor smiled and relaxed his tense body, worried that his mistake would be unforgivable. But Roman always forgave Victor, that was what made them so special. Now they had a new challenge to tackle together: fatherhood.

Years after you’d been adopted by the pair of criminals with high status in the underworld, you’d grown quite accustomed to their behavior. It wasn’t unusual to find Roman frantic or angry, or a bit violent at times. But never toward you, he wouldn’t dare lay a hand on you or raise his voice to you. You could do no wrong.

You could also find Victor coming home from a late night, covered in blood—be it his own from a mark or someone else’s from a job—and being very nonchalant about it. It was always, “y/n! I’m glad you’re up! Would you like some ice cream?” They never left the freezer understocked, even if ice cream wasn’t your favorite anymore.

But there was one “normal” you’d never really get used to, even if you were used to their brutality. Roman was a well-respected crime boss, and to keep that respect intact, he had to do some rather gruesome things.

Well, he didn’t have to. It was a personal choice for him, you could almost consider it a hobby at this point.

You’d been looking for your fathers for going on an hour now, needing some permission slip signed for school. You wandered all their possible routes hoping to catch them across one, asking around to any lackey you managed to catch. No one had an answer for you, so you continued on until you stumbled onto a horrible scene.

One father held a segment of his victim’s hanging skin from their face as they shrieked at the top of their lungs. The sound pierced your eardrums and you winced momentarily. Then you saw the other leaned back in his seat with a bag of popcorn in hand, yelling words of encouragement to Roman, as if he needed them.

“You guys are really something.” Your voice startled them both, so much that you nearly had a gun pulled on you.

“Y/N! You scared us, I’m sorry!” Victor jumped up and ran to give you a comforting hug. “I wouldn’t have shot you, I promise.” You patted him on the back.

“I believe you, Dad.” You mumbled into his shoulder. “Can you just sign this thing real quick? Make sure there isn’t any blood on your hands.” Victor pulled away and wiped his hands on his shirt.

“Of course, of course. Roman, are you almost done with that? We should take our dear y/n out for a nice dinner soon, they deserve it.” Victor explained as he grabbed the pen and paper from your hands.

“Sure, that sounds nice. I should be done in a few minutes. Don’t rush me.” Roman continued dragging the knife under his chained victim’s skin and you shook your head at the sight. By now, this didn’t even faze you, it was just another day in your life. Well, maybe the first few times you had nightmares, but you weren’t a little kid anymore. Now, you could care less what your fathers did for work. So long as they gave you the world and their love, life was good.

Bed time with Gotham villans

I haven’t posted anything recently and thought in light of 2023 coming to a start I’d post something for the new year even though we’re 6 months into it :3

I apologize in advance for both grammatical errors and spelling errors:)

Oswald Cobblepot

I can imagine oswald being a very wild sleeper. Like the kind that can go to sleep on the opposite side of the bed and end up with their leg over you with their arms wrapped around you

Probably has alot of night terrors specially about his mom and dad. Loud random screams in the middle of the night will be a common occurrence for you

Goes to sleep in a full pajama set with night cap and slippers:)

Blanket hog all the way, constantly kicking you in the back, cuddling into you, ect.

Though he's probably not the best to sleep with hes definitely got the nicest bed. Like im talking king sized with silk pillow cases, and sheets with a ridiculous thread count

I imagine him having some long ass night routine or some weird night ritual he follows before bed

He's the last to get into bed and the first to fall asleep

Likes a warm glass of milk (or a lukewarm glass of alcohol) before bed because he's old fashioned

Refuses to go to sleep without you and will wait till the early hours of the morning and late hours of night for you to come to bed

Edward Nygma (pre-riddler)

Ed unsurprisingly is very pleasant to sleep with

He’s not a very calm sleeper but he isn't like incredibly wild either. Maybe a arm or leg thrown over the edge of the bed but thats about it

Has the occasional night terrors but besides that is otherwise peaceful 

Sleeps in relatively normal sleep attire. Plain shirt with pajama pants mostly

Really basic white male night time routine. shower, brush teeth, wash face and head to bed

He has a decent sleep schedule with only the occasional sleep insomnia

Likes to spend a little time playing video games or solving puzzles before bed

Edward Nygma (post-riddler)

Sleeps a lot less then pre-riddler ed

When he does sleep it’s only for a few hours and tends to have nightmares in between periods of rest

He’s not one to initiate cuddling during bed time but he won’t stop you from cuddling up next him

Will at times sleep on the couch or wherever he ends up falling asleep. Mostly up to you to make sure he gets a healthy amount of rest

Over thinks greatly before bed and ends up circling the room on a tangent or whenever an idea strikes

Sometimes breaks into your apartment just to sleep next to you or will show up and pass out on your couch

Talks and mumbles in his sleep

Victor Zsasz

Victor rarely sleeps but will lay in bed just to be next to you for a few hours before his next job

Sleeps in mostly just boxers since he takes a shower directly before he goes to bed but on off days he’ll throw on a t-shirt and lay in bed with you

Calm sleeper surprisingly

It takes a specific type of man to be able to kill someone then come home and sleep peacefully

He’s a quiet sleeper which is also why he makes such a god assassin as noise suppression is a huge part of his job

You always fall asleep first and he likes to just stare at you for long periods of time

Half drunken water bottles and glasses on the night stand at all times

I feel like he would have some kind of lengthy skin care routine before bed

Likes cuddling especially if he’s the little spoon

Wakes up at ungodly early hours of the morning

Blanket hog but just to be annoying and so that way you’ll sleep closer to him

Only really sleeps if you’re sleeping with him as he doesn’t really sleep as much as most people and probably only rests his eyes for a few hours at a time

Jervis Tetch

Jervis is very affectionate when it comes to bed time. He loves cuddling, holding you, kissing you ect.

I imagine his bed is incredibly comfortable with many multi-colored and textured throws, quilts, and blankets covering the bed. Probably decorative pillows as well in many colors and shapes

Full pajama sleep attire. Button up sleep shirt, pants, slippers, and a night hat similar to Oswald

He likes reading to you or being read bedtime stories. His current favorite (aside from obviously alice in wonderland) is the wizard of Oz

A warm glass of milk or tea before bed is essential and he always makes some before bed

Jervis is a bit of a wild sleeper but for the most part stays in one spot on the bed only kneeing you a few times and stirring in his sleep

He runs warm so he doesn’t take up a whole lot of blanket but during the summer he ends up drenched in sweat blanket or not

Wild bed head since his curls are hard to tame at times

Stays up late so he falls asleep first since he’s always exhausted and sleep deprived

Wokenup in a cold sweat a few times from the occasional nightmares relating to his sister but all he needs is you to pull him back into reality

Talks to you until he falls asleep to help him get some energy out and clear his mind. He talks to you about anything and everything until he begins to drift off

Jerome Valeska

Jerome is an incredibly wild sleeper. So much so to the point where no matter what position or side of the bed he’s on he’ll end up on the opposite side in a completely different position

Throws the blanket off and on going from hogging it to throwing it on the floor

He runs hot so his sleep attire is mostly him without a shirt and a pair of tattered pajama pants or just boxers

He doesn’t really have a night time routine to speak of or a steady schedule

Normally it’s just whenever he’s tired and wherever he’s at that determine what his sleep is going to be like and how long it lasts

He’s a big cuddler at first but because he’s such a wild sleeper he’ll probably end up letting go of you and turning to the opposite side of the bed

He’ll wake up in a bad mood if he’s not sleeping with you next to him or in his arms in the morning tho even if it’s entirely his fault

He’s a brat so it takes forever to coax him into going to bed. Plus he’s stubborn so even when you get him into bed he’ll do everything in his power to annoy you or to not fall asleep

He talks a lot in his sleep normally it’s laughter or it’s him mumbling on about his mother and the trauma he received

He has nightmares but they don’t wake him up only increase his tossing and turning and sleep talk

I feel like he sleep walks at times when he’s not knocked completely out and I can image you’ve had to bring him back to bed a few times

Stephanie Brown ACTUALLY having the character arc that fanon pretends Jason Todd had (plus a defence of canon Jason)

What I'm really saying is that Stephanie Brown is underappreciated, Jason Todd is often misinterpreted, and, though it should go without saying, ignoring canon is poor media literacy. So let's actually analyse canon and get to the bottom of what the stories are trying to say and how they use their characters to tell this, as opposed to just which character should we stan.

I'm arguing that Stephanie Brown's story actually features a redemption arc that sees her transform from a violent, almost murderous teenager into the most unwaveringly hopeful of heroes and that Jason's story is about a villain who we're meant to empathise with to expose the cracks in the Batman's heroic facade; a Frankenstein's monster if you will. Here's a numbered list:

Part 1: Outgrowing Violence, Anger and Murder

A big part of Stephanie Brown's growth in canon is her learning not to kill or use excessive force. But it's not as simple as just killing is wrong, don't question it.

Let's begin with the narrative's relationship to violence, anger and murder. Why doesn't Batman kill? Because "[those] who [fight] with monsters might take care lest [they] thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you". If he kills, he's playing god, choosing who gets to live and die. No one deserves that kind of absolute power and absolute power also corrupts. Batman doesn't want to lose sight of himself or his cause. Deliberate murder is treated VERY negatively in the Batman mythos.

Enter Stephanie Brown.

Stephanie was a working class latchkey kid who grew up on the wrong side of the tracks. She had an abusive, criminal father, who was in and out of jail, and a mother struggling with addiction, who Steph became a carer for at just 15. Steph also became pregnant with the child of her horrible ex. At 16, she gave birth to that child and had to give her up for adoption. Steph is also a survivor.

The world was never kind to Steph and left this teenager with a hell of a lot of bitterness and rage which her vigilante career became an outlet for. You can tell by the way she fights since Steph fights DIRTY; she'll tug hair and spit in your eyes and strike below the belt and catch a kick to twist your ankle and dislodge your already broken nose. On the one hand; the narrative tells us Steph is resourceful. She's 5'5", 130 lb and has zero powers, but can always find an opening even when going up against Gotham's grizzliest. It's telling that quick thinking, savviness and spontaneity become her thing when she becomes Batgirl; Steph is the wild card. On the other hand, she was a real diamond in the rough and a complete loose canon. In her first arc, it's Batman who stops her from making the biggest mistake of her life; killing her dad. To deliberately kill; to play god, is to lose yourself, remember. Her first arc is about not being defined by who your parents are and about not giving up on yourself. Batman basically tells her, there's hope for you yet Stephanie Brown, by getting her to spare her dad. And she does. And so began her superhero career.

Nonetheless, it's never that simple. Steph is still a bitter, angry teenager, no matter how many jokes she cracks. It becomes a personal crusade when she, now Robin, discovers that The Penguin is using children as runners. It takes Cassandra Cain to stop her from inflicting anything she may regret.

The narrative wants to show us how cruel the world can be and that it isn't black and white, either. The story ends with an angry Stephanie lamenting "why". It's a "why" she is asking herself too. Why does she do what she does? And it informs us that she, and maybe us the reader too, still have a lot to learn. Murder's not the answer but what is?

Stephanie later saves Bruce by almost murdering serial killer Victor Zsasz. Bruce reprimands her and she cries, quite honestly, "I don't get it, I really don't", following on from where we left off in Batgirl. "There are always other options than to kill" asserts Bruce, forget not being on the same page, they're reading different books. The thesis of the story is what Bruce should have told Steph when she was an angry 15 year old about to murder her dad; "[those] who [fight] with monsters might take care lest [they] thereby become a monster". The world's cruel, Steph, but that doesn't mean you have to be too. "Are you firing me?" "No, I'm teaching you".

Over 2 years down the line, an around 19 year old Stephanie, establishing herself as the new, hoping-inspiring Batgirl, is now teaching a brash Damian Wayne what she's learned.

"To murder or not to murder" is just a plot device to the themes of overcoming your own anger at the world's cruelty to contribute good, coming to terms with shades of grey, not giving up on yourself and staying hopeful in the face of adversity and horror. These are Stephanie's arcs and as a consequence, she goes from would-be-murderer to Gotham's cheeriest caped crusader.

Part 2: Double Standards and Second Chances

Another huge part of Stephanie's story is her overcoming double standards and doubters, to earn her own second chances. Her resurrection and rise to the role of Batgirl were choices made to hammer home this theme; it's never too late to turn things around.

There's some juicy metatext to analyse here too. DC editorial's treatment of Stephanie during War Games was horrific and panned by both fans and writers. To reperate for these harms, Steph was retconned back to life and then made Batgirl during Batman: Reborn. Here's a quote by Batgirl (2009) author Bryan Q. Miller on what his run aimed to bring out of Steph:

The whole point of Stephanie's resurrection and take over of the Batgirl title was to give her a redemption arc.

In text, Stephanie was unfairly treated too, notwithstanding that she was brash and had a massive violent streak in her Spoiler and Robin days. Tim Drake constantly condescends her and tells her to give up vigilante life, even though she was ALWAYS a match for Tim according to Convergence: Batgirl. Cassandra Cain constantly underestimates Steph. Bruce Wayne tells his allies to cut off ties with Steph and then later fires her as Robin for DISOBEYING HIM as if that's not the first thing Dick Grayson ever did as Robin. Barbara Gordon tells Steph she has a death wish. Dick deems Steph too reckless (moments before he resurrects a zombie Batman). And Damian is an entitled brat who gives her a hard time for no reason. Everyone doubts Stephanie and it generally says more about the doubter than it does Stephanie.

Stephanie was never great with authority or criticism so she still went out there and earned her second chance. And it felt rewarding when her doubters came around too.

Stephanie was brought back from the dead to be redeemed and man did she take that chance!

Part 3: What is Jason Todd's Story Meant to Tell Us and My Defence of Canon Jason

Jason Todd returns from the dead as a ghost of Batman's past; he is the living embodiment of Batman's greatest mistake who couldn't stay buried and is back to haunt him. He's a character we are meant to empathise with but he's a villain nonetheless. He's not irredeemable but for the most part his story is not really about redemption. Succinctly, it revolves around the idea that "we are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell” to quote Oscar Wilde.

When we first meet the resurrected Jason, he's a cold-blooded murderer who's slinging guns and using The Joker's old moniker. These choices are made to emphasise that he went down the wrong path; he's breaking Batman's "don't play god" rule and his actions become eerily closer to those of the Clown Prince of Crime than Batman's. In fact Nightwing and Batman spend some quality time together in the next two issues because Nightwing is the foil to the Red Hood; he's what Bruce considers his greatest success. Remember that thing about "those who [fight] with monsters might take care lest [they] thereby become a monster"? Well Jason DID become a monster. And if he's the monster, then Bruce Wayne is Frankenstein.

We're not supposed to think "yes, kill the The Joker, Jason", we're supposed to think "good god, please Jason, it's not too late to turn your life around". Here's Dick and Jason being the exact opposite of each other, an issue apart.

So what was Jason's villainous return trying to say? For one, that people are the products of their circumstance, lest we forget Jason was once an eager and studious Robin who just wanted to be part of something greater when life, but specifically Bruce, sent him awry. This is also a story about Bruce which tells us says that our mistakes have consequences that don't stay buried, and that we will always be forced to reckon with our histories or it becomes everyone's problem. This next panel shows this best. All of Jason's killing and torture and fear-spreading and chaos does not come down to some "murder or not to murder" debate, it comes down to his relationship with Bruce. He is the monster that Frankenstein created who's back to haunt him and no one is safe.

Jason's initial Red Hood arcs were never supposed to pose the question "should Batman kill The Joker or not?". The answer is no and always has been. They are supposed to show us how Bruce's poor fatherhood of and partnership with Jason Todd led to all this horror. And Bruce can't turn back the clock, he has to reckon with the consequences of his actions in the present or more people will get hurt. It's significant that these first arcs don't end with Jason returning to the manor and seeking help surrounded by family.

We then see Jason and his issues with Bruce threaten the lives of others like when he beat Tim half to death twice, tried to blow up Mia Dearden and then tried to become a murderous, gun-touting Batman after Bruce's "death".

Once Dick Grayson becomes Batman, the narrative sheds a bit more light on how Bruce's Frankenstein created a monster in Jason; Bruce wanted Jason to be another Dick Grayson.

The red hair is a perfect metaphor. Jason is naturally red-haired and he is now balding because Bruce made him dye his hair black so he'd look like Dick as Robin. That sums it up for me. Bruce really created his own demon here and Dick, as the new Batman, is trying to make amends with the sins of the Batman's past. Jason's a great choice for a Dick Grayson villain because of their histories, considering Dick Grayson is the legacy Batman.

"I tried really hard to be what batman wanted me to be...which is you." Jason tells Dick.

That line is so painful and way more recognisable and relatable than anything fanon has produced.

"But this world...this dirty, twisted, cruel and ugly dungheap had...other plans for me."

Look no further, this is who Jason Todd is.

That's a powerful story if you ask me, and this is why I like Jason Todd as a character; a villain I pity deeply, who is portrayed as a product of their circumstances without diminishing their agency and who makes me see the cracks in the hero's facade because they are the monster our "hero" created. He's also a very nuanced foil to the ever-shining light that is Dick Grayson. The appeal to Mary Shelley's Frankenstein isn't that the monster murdered people. I also would never swap canon Jason out for, I dunno, Wayne Family Adventures Jason who's the amalgamation of 3 or 4 common fanon tropes. This is my two cents.

A/N: Not sure if this was the way you wanted the story to go but I hope this is appealing. Also Sofia don't exist, at least not in this specific fanfic.

Overview: Being the daughter of Don Falcone and girlfriend to his personal assassin.

Relation: Romantic

The start of you and Victor's relationship was...complicated to say the least.

You both had grown a mutual attraction for one another and when you both found that out, the rest was history.

Fear of what your father would think, you wanted the relationship to be kept a secret until you could build up the courage to tell him.

On one hand, Victor liked the excitement of being in a secret relationship with THE Falcone's daughter.

On the other, he was hesitant to hide such a big thing from his boss.

He is loyal to Falcone but he loves you.

A lot.

It's probably not until 4-5 months later do you both get busted.

It wasn't Don himself who had caught you both but a servant had seen you and Vic in one of the many rooms of the manor, alone.

Sharing a little smooch.

You and Vic were both worried what Falcone would do but what shocked you both was him saying he already knew.

Or assumed a long time ago.

I guess you two weren't as good at hiding your affections like you thought you were.

Falcone has put a lot of trust in Victor over the years and if he had to pick someone to love you but also protect you, Victor would be his first choice anyways.

He knows that Victor is the most capable of protecting his little girl.

Now onto the actual relationship stuff.

Victor is much more open with his feelings and such now that he knows your dad won't murder him in the brutalist way possible.

Even if you were Falcone's daughter and people knew not to mess with you because of your last name, Victor would still be the one to remind them now that it's known you two are together.

He'll still do jobs for your father but he's now changed to being your personal bodyguard whenever your dad isn't needing him.

He'll be by your side almost 24/7.

He likes to train with you.

Fighting experience or not, he likes to teach you new skills whenever he finds the time.

Give's you one of his own personal knife to keep on you for protection and as a little reminder of him.

Before I answer #1 I want to do some background info: After Time Commander (Super-Sons villain) got humiliated & jailed by Jake, Mar’i & Nightwing (mar’i burned his outfit leaving him naked & Jake gave him a wedgie). He busted out after a week & went back in time to make sure the kids weren’t born by killing Nightwing. (Note: Nightwing & Starfire went on a honeymoon, so it’s just Jake & mar’i by themselves for a few days). Time Commander (John Starr) found a newly trained Robin roaming the streets for a test for Batman. But the kid was tougher than he looks, Starr had a sore jaw & a sore crotch & both fell into a portal going back to the future & he ran away to rethink strategy. Robin (Dick Grayson) tried to find him but instead found two twins fighting a group of thugs.

1: Mar’i & Jake were trying to solve the mysterious case of the Tally Mark Slasher (hint hint 😉) (also Jake was wearing a Robin outfit for the giggles) when they met Robin & realize that he was their dad when he was their age & tried their best not to mess up the timeline. So the three of them decided to help each other’s problems & send Robin back to the past. (Without revealing too much info about themselves) After a few hours kicking butt & interrogation thugs, they managed to find the killer himself, frozen in time: Victor Zsasz, & Time Commander himself stealing money (cause reasons XD) the three of them mange to stop Time Commander & put him in handcuffs for the cops. Before Robin leaves back to his time, he has something to ask:

Robin (Dick Grayson): How important is me being Robin?

Jake: really important! hundreds of sidekicks wouldn’t exist without your influence, & all thanks to you, we are able to live because of you, you gave everybody hope! You’re the heart of sidekicks.

The three hugged before Robin goes back to the past…….Victor Zasasz was freed from time freeze & was in handcuffs, confused on why his pants were around his ankles, underwear pulled up from his butthole, & some childish drawings were on him; especially a Robin symbol on his chest. (*wipes sweats on forehead* darn I need a break XD)

Jake: goku, gohan, vegito, cabba, broly. (Dbz) naruto, itachi, pain, (naruto) izuku, dabi, twice, all-might (MHA) luffy, sanji, chopper (One Piece).

3: yup XD & when Jai decided to use his speed full power he decides to taunt Chris either: pulling down his lower eyelid & sticks tongue out, gives the middle finger(s), show his bare butt & spanks it (maybe kisses his hand first) or saying meep meep! & speeds off leaving Chris in the dust.

4: yes, but as a one off villain, let me explain: I do like the idea of zod escaping from the Phantom Zone years later instead of a few days (great idea bud) but instead of joining zod because of his “background,” Chris was a sleeper agent (in my universe).

When space pirate Amalak (from new earth’s Superman comics) invades earth (when Chris was 12) to hunt down Kryptonians, he accidentally triggers Chris’s “sleeper agent code”: zod. (By telling Chris he looks just like him) days later, at night, Chris sneaks off to the fortress of solitude & frees zod & 30 other kryptonian criminals from the zone, kneeling to them.

The next day, zod & the criminals did an invasion in Metropolis. (As seen in the Last Son book) the superfamily (Clark, Kara, Karen, Kon, Jon 11, & krypto)the justice league, Young Titans, & the special police force with kryptonite weapons defends the city; The only kryptonians left were zod & Chris (Some were taken down non-lethally & the rest killed). After seeing NightStar gets trapped by broken buildings, Chris breaks free from his programming, & unleashed a power nobody ever seen before: Dark Phantom mode.

(In my universe, after a beaten by his dad, Chris was thrown outside the prison where he was born, slowly dying from the pain, when suddenly, a mystical blue dragon called NightWing (who created the zone in my universe; a myth) appeared out of nowhere & went into his body as pure energy to heal him & gave him unique abilities that needed to be unlocked somehow.)

Chris (in the present) with Superman, fought Zod (a less brutal version of the invincible vs conquest fight) & snaps zod’s neck (like man of steel) using his darkness powers to save Superman from being killed. Chris screamed in pain & sadness, being comforted by his “dad” Superman. A fe days later, Superman takes Chris in outer space saying you belong here, you belong. Then, they went back down to earth to their home in Hamilton county & did a big group hug with his “family.”

5: since they’re kids, probably between 8-10; on the feet, stomach, rib cage, & on the thighs when grabbed.

• There are a total of four gangs within Gravesfield; The Fallen Angels MC (Bikers), The Alley Cats (Punks), The Aryan Sons (White Supremacists), The Innocentz (Satanists).

• Before Luz, there were other serial killers that terrorized Gravesfield in the past.

• Camila was an abusive parent even before Manny passed away and was very discriminative twords Luz "For not being normal". So due to this Luz was with her dad most of her life.

In middle school a few times, I had to call my mom using a school phone because I left something important at home. One time, the number I called was not actually my mom

Driving home from my grandparents’ one day, my dad dialed up my mom and handed me the phone to tell her we were bringing home pizza. After I did so, my confused Grandma answered, understandably wondering why we were going back to her place

That side quest in Batman: Arkham City where a nearby phone in a telephone booth rings, wherein I answered and listened to serial killer Victor Zsasz as he explained that he has kidnapped several people and I must race across the city to save them from death. Cue a timed obstacle race across the city, which 13-yr-old me was not yet equipped to complete, and Zsasz killed the hostages. I did not answer a ringing phone in that game for a year

Victor Zsasz: Not the biggest fan of kids. They scare him a little. Not because they're scary but the commitment and all the things that can go wrong is what scares him. However kids seem to love him? It's a nuisance for him so dating someone who has a child? Oh boy. He could definitely be more thrilled. "Hi...I don't really care about you." Literally. That's his first ever sentence to the child. If you've ever seen Lucifer and how he is with Trixie. It's very similar to that. Very reluctant but the kid grows on him. It's shown when the child runs rup to him and Victor always grabs them and tosses them over his shoulder or yeets them onto the couch behind him. The affection is shown because not once does he throw the child on the floor or anything that isn't cushioned and not going to cause injury. His playful behaviour makes him very appealing. He'll act like he doesn't care but if you squint and pay attention, you can tell he loves the kid like they were his own. He's like the cool distant step-dad and he absolutely has their back. Like when the child is in their teens and missed curfew, before said kid gets their ass kicked by his s/o, Victor is lifting the kid over one shoulder. Kicking and screaming because they'll thank him later when they aren't caught up in stupid shit and they both only have to put up with some yelling and not many hours of it. Victor doesn't like the yelling so if he has to bring the kid back by the ear, he will DO IT.

Mad Hatter: Just like that, he has a child too now. Will refer to them as his own child. Will be able to get on better with a younger child because of his imagination. With teenagers, he just can't relate. Always has a stash of candy somewhere and ready to share it with the child. He is extra embarrassing at any school events like graduations. He's got a lot of feelings and he's just so proud of them! Is always ready to play games with the child. Such as the time he was chased by the child around the dining room in circles. To his horror, the child was fast and he was running out of breath! It's rather difficult to disappoint him. It might not even be possible! Easily jumpscared by the child. Over all he coped much better than anyone expected. Even if he is terrible at giving discipline.

Ragdoll: Like Hatter, he calls the child his own to everyone. Very eager parent. He's easy to please as he's always proud of the child. Tell him everything about the day, he wants to know everything. He's listening whilst coiled into himself like a pretzel and yes he will act like that's normal. He likes to be fun and so secretly hopes they'll prefer him over their actual father. Very affectionate no matter how old the child is and be greatly offended. "Don't push me away when I'm loving you!😠" Enjoys watching the child play sometimes finding the scenarios and games the child comes up with very entertaining. Constantly asks when the child is coming back to them. "Is it our turn yet!? How long now!? I can't wait that long!" Makes a huge effort for the child to have their own space- ideally a room, even if small, that the child could call theirs. Goes all out on the decorating too. Figures out what the child likes and practically litters the room with it.

The Riddler: He's going to be as gentle as he can about this because he doesn't have time for the arguing... he doesn't care about this child of s/o. It's not his child. Why should he care? If they stay out of his way, then the two might be able to get along. If not then he'll wait until the child is an adult to then forget about their very existence. I sense a lot of arguments so here's hoping the child isn't stubborn. I'd say most time there would be high tensions when the child is old enough to have their own thoughts and feelings. If a young child, they'll likely get along fine because Edward won't notice their existence. An older child might be a bit more difficult.

Scarecrow: Children can find him off-putting given his lack of emotion and his obsession with fear. However the child of his s/o is off limits. Unfortunately. He has very little interest in this child and pays bare minimum attention to the child. Really the two can coexist with little to no interaction rather easily. It won't really mean anything to Jonathan until he's with a long term partner or marries the S/O. Then it'll be a case of trying to warm up to the kid but there's really no promises. He's isolated enough to see the kid isn't his so he should really keep his distance. A real relationship is only possible if the child reaches out and for a lot of time it'll be one sided. Only in rare moments will Jonathan show any kind of bond with the kid.

- The Kents are not allowed to pet-sit for the Waynes because the last time Bruce left Ace in Martha’s care for a week he came back nearly half a pound heavier and addicted to peanut butter

- Sometimes Damian will shout marco if he knows Jon can hear him, and Jon always fights the urge to respond with polo because he can never tell if he’s hearing Damian with his superhearing or not (and whether or not he’ll look insane to the people around him). He’s learned his lesson with that one.

- Bruce always forgets he’s mildly allergic to seafood. Literally always. Every time he has a lobster biscuit or crab hors d’oeuvres he just thinks the catering company that provided them was bad

- Clark writes in shorthand because Martha taught him how to. He can write in cursive because his dad taught him how to. Kara has flamed him for his handwriting in kryptonian a billion times

- Christopher has a fear of the light. Where other kids were afraid of shadows, Chris is comforted by them because he always knows what’s in them and they’re a sign that there’s a way out for him to teleport from; in the phantom zone, there were no shadows. Just an endless expanse of blank unending white.

- Tim is short because he started drinking coffee when he was 8 and unsupervised

- Damian is short because he was instructed to lift stones on his shoulders for hours at a time when he was 8 and unsupervised

- Kon uses his TTK to play impossible guitar solos on a regular basis. On a completely unrelated note, President Luthor proposed on multiple occasions for instruments to be made illegal in Metropolis.

- Chris and Tim do yoga together once a month and then eat ice cream in the fortress so that none of the bats can steal it from them. Only Dick knows about this and has made a deal: they buy his silence via cereal.

- Raven has synesthesia

- Beast Boy shape shifts in his sleep so the team has a baby monitor checking on him, just in case he becomes cold blooded and needs a heat lamp or starts hibernating on accident. Trial and error, really.

- Chris and Duke fuck with each other’s powers extremely often for fun. Chris fucks with the shadows so that Duke’s premonitions will be wonky and then drops in to prank him and fails. Duke fucks with the lights so Chris can’t spawn. Absolute best friend behavior

- The batkids have made so many unholy concoctions in superheroes kitchens…but Batman’s are worse. The superhero community only trusts Red Hood in their houses, because he knows the sanctity of food (but will not hesitate to throw away your terrible terrible leftovers, as Guy found out the hard way).

- Jason keeps an epipen on him at all times specifically for Kyle. He tells himself it’s because he wants to show it to him but deny it while Rayner goes into anaphylaxis. It is not.

- Sometimes league members will just see a Green Lantern snoozing in a hammock made out of their willpower in the most random parts of the watchtower. It’s honestly more impressive than bothersome.

- Alfred keeps a knife on him at all times. Bruce does not know this.

- Every couple of months Harper Row lets a homeless kid cut her hair and pays them and their friends extra. She is always proud of their work.

- Jon and Damian don’t know what PDA means. They think it’s public displays of agitation and think that whenever they punch each other they’re showing PDA. No one’s had the heart to tell them yet.

- When Barbara was a kid she’d get bored and solve her dad’s cases for him while he wasn’t looking. Just snatch a file right off his desk and give it back with info on who Victor Zsasz is within an hour. Of course he knew she was a bat, who the hell else does that

Ronancetober Day 6: Superhero/Super powers - Birds of Prey AU

unfortunately i couldn't rewrite the entire movie but maybe a miracle will happen and i'll finish this someday? in the meantime, here's this:

“They say, if you want to tell a story right, you gotta start at the beginning,” Robin said. “But who the fuck is they anyway? You don’t have to answer, by the way.”

“I wasn’t going to,” Max rolled her eyes.

“The point is,” Robin continued, holding up a finger as if she were making a very important point. “This is my story, and I��m telling it, so I’ll start where I fucking want.”

They were in Robin’s car, on their way to the Amusement Mile, the abandoned park, where a shady deal was waiting for them. But Max didn’t know that. So, Robin had to act like everything was still okay between them. Like she hadn’t made a deal with Henry Creel, her life in exchange for a diamond stolen by a sneaky little pickpocket by the name of Max Mayfield. Like she hadn’t kidnapped Max, broken her out of jail, handcuffed her to her own hand, robbed a store with her, painted her nails a nice sparkly color, gotten emotionally attached to her, decided to hide her from Henry’s evil schemes until she pooped that ridiculous diamond she ate, escaped her house with her after some asshole set it on fire after Robin was betrayed by a dozen other assholes, which prompted Robin to call Henry Creel to arrange a deal again, give up the sweet kid in exchange for protection, so everyone in Gotham would finally leave her alone. Not complicated at all. 

“Nobody has time to sit there and listen all about my tragic backstory,” Robin laughed as she drove, “my dad selling me for a six-pack of beer, my time in medical school and then working as a psychiatrist in Arkham, becoming besties with a patient, breaking him out of the asylum and starting a life of crime, jumping into a vat of chemicals for my bestie, getting arrested by the Batman, getting in and out of jail several times, and then coming out to my bestie and getting kicked out because apparently, he thought we were dating, and he wants me to call him Joker even though his name is so obviously Steve.”

“That’s… way too much information, Robin,” Max rolled her eyes and tried to act like she didn’t love every little bit of it.

That lasted until they arrived at their destination and Robin effortlessly betrayed her. Robin tied her to a toilet like she was worth nothing, leaving her there with a simple, “I’m sorry kid, I really am.”

But, just when Max was starting to accept the fact that she was about to be opened up for stealing a silly little 30-carat diamond, she heard a noise coming from outside the bathroom. She could be wrong, but it definitely sounded like Robin was getting her ass kicked by that grumpy detective Vickie something. Except for… nope, that was definitely the sound of Vickie screaming for her life after Robin most likely kicked her off the window of the place, proudly claiming revenge for a sandwich or something equally as ridiculous and on-brand for Robin. So, Max was back to contemplating death when someone kicked open the bathroom door. She tried to scream, but there was tape covering her mouth.

“Did she really tape you to a damn toilet?” Nancy asked her. She probably preferred to be called Black Canary these days, but for that same reason, Max insisted on calling her Nancy Wheeler, her kind and cool neighbor that was incapable of staying out of trouble and now, apparently, worked for Henry Creel, the guy currently at the top of the charts in Gotham’s villains. Which wasn’t good news, because, if Nancy was there, it meant Henry’s creepy minion was close by.

“What are you guys doing?” Billy Hargrove asked when he entered the bathroom.

Max almost succeeded at not feeling worried about seeing Robin’s helpless body on a couch after getting shot with a tranquilizing dart.

But she couldn’t focus on that, not when Billy was pushing a knife toward Nancy and yelling, “Cut her open. Rip open her little tummy. Now! Rip it open!”

Now, Max was mostly sure that Nancy would’ve died before listening to that piece of shit, but before her theory was put to the test, someone shot a fucking arrow through Billy’s neck. Nancy had cut most of the tape holding Max to the toilet and she passed her the knife. Max had to work fast, she couldn’t miss what was going on outside the bathroom. Actually, even more important than that, she had to save her own life.

One second, there were four women in that room, all of them exchanging distrustful looks between them. Robin was lying on the couch, smiling and feeling only approximately ten percent of her body. Nancy was standing tall in front of the bathroom, protecting the kid she went there to save. Vickie was holding a gun, but she didn’t have the police badge anymore, and she was still a little breathless after climbing up the window Robin kicked her out of. And there was a complete stranger in the doorway. And then, a second later, they were all holding up their hands, helpless in front of an angry teenager waving a gun at them.

“I don’t know what the fuck is going on,” Max yelled at them and stopped to kick the lifeless body of Billy Hargrove, “But I know that this shit-stick just tried to gut me. So you,” she pointed her gun at Robin, “you owe me an apology, I thought you were different, I thought you were my friend. And you guys,” she recklessly pointed her gun from Nancy to Vickie and then back to Nancy, “you guys owe me an explanation. Nancy, why the hell are you working for Creel? Vickie, are you fucking suspended from the police? And you,” Max waved her gun at the stranger, “who the fuck are you?”

“They call me…” the stranger said with a clearly intentionally deep and mysterious voice, while taking off the hood of her oh-so-dark and badass cloak. But before she could say Huntress she got interrupted.

“Chrissy Cunningham,” Vickie said with awe.

“From the Cunnigham massacre!” Nancy added.

“That’s some childhood trauma right there,” Robin said with a grimace. “Wait. The shiny rock that this dummy kid swallowed… that diamond belonged to your filthy rich mafia family! I mean, before they were all brutally murdered. All, except you, apparently? Are you a ghost, by any chance? You sure look the part, I mean, don’t get me wrong, it suits you, but-”

“Robin,” Nancy interrupted her with a knowing look. For a second, all eyes were on them. Robin didn’t shut up that easily for just anybody, and Nancy didn’t speak so softly for just anybody either. Oh, there was some history there. But they had bigger problems, like Vickie quickly pointed out.

“Guys, we have bigger problems,” Vickie said, moving to the window and prompting the others to look too. “Henry Creel found us, and he bought himself an army.”

“We’re dead,” Chrissy laughed, earning odd looks from everyone for a second, but then they got distracted again.

“Oh, this is amazing!” Robin exclaimed, jumping on the couch now that her body was over the effects of the tranquilizing dart. “Oh, come on! Don’t look at me like that! Don’t you watch movies? Do you know what this means? It means we’re going to have to work together!” The skepticism was more than obvious on everyone’s faces, but Robin had an argument that immediately convinced all of them, “For the kid.”

So, there was Robin Buckley, a notorious insane criminal wanted dead by most people in Gotham, but that had a surprisingly big heart, big enough to risk it all for a kid she just met, trusting a complete stranger, a police officer, and a woman that she may or may not be in love with. There was Nancy Wheeler, who tried to be a singer and ended up working for a villain, while possibly hiding superpowers she inherited from her mother as well as complicated feelings for a certain insane criminal with blonde hair and an infectious and sweet smile. There was Vickie, freshly suspended from the police force, obsessed with bringing Henry Creel to justice above everything else including her reputation and well-being, but not over Max’s life. There was Huntress- Chrissy Cunningham, the sole survivor of an old massacre that just wanted to kill Billy Hargrove for his involvement in it, and now found herself unable to leave behind this group of strangers and that kid that needed help like she’d needed all those years ago. And, finally, there was Max Mayfield, Gotham’s best pickpocket, who had more or less innocently stolen an infamous 30-carat diamond, not suspecting that she was about to be the reason Gotham earned a new team of heroes… and Robin’s chaos on the side.

"Now darling, I know you are responsible and can take care of yourself. It's the people in Gotham that I don't trust. Victor follows you to protect you. You know that." Carmine explained gently.

Y/n crossed her arms over her chest.

"Yeah, I know.."

Her father sighed.

"Can you at least tell him to be more discreet? It's not exactly easy to go places with a bald hitman in all black trailing me." She asked.

"Be more discreet? Hun, I am discreet." Victor chuckled, walking into her bedroom.

"Yeah, I know. But I had to make it seem like I don't like you following me. We can't have my dad figuring out about us, can we?" She asked.

He shook his head playfully.

"He is right though. It's smart for me to follow you. You're a beautiful girl and the daughter of Carmine Falcone. You can't be too safe." He reminded.

She nodded and stood up from her bed.

"Yeah, you're right."

"So, what do you want to do today?" He asked.

"I was thinking going to the park?" She asked.

Victor nodded, stepping out of the room to allow her to get ready. It was the perfect day to go to the park. It was a sunny spring day, flowers were blooming, birds were chirping and the temperature wasn't too bad either.

The two of them had started dating around two weeks ago, and they've done a pretty good job at keeping it a secret. Y/n had grown a strong attraction the the hitman/bodyguard and found out that her feelings were reciprocated. Surprisingly, Victor Zsasz was a total sweetheart when it came to romance and love.

"Alright, let's go." She said coming out of her room.

Victor winked at her, not risking showing her affection in an open space. He didn't want the two of them to get caught. He didn't care what happened to him, he only cared about what happened to her. The two of them went downstairs and out the front door, getting into her car. Victor offered to drive which y/n accepted happily.

"I'll put our music in." She said as she popped in a CD.

He scoffed playfully.

"By our music do you mean your music that you forced me to listen to?" He asked.

She nodded.

"Yeah, but you love it now. Don't lie."

As the two of them drove through the streets of Gotham, y/n looked over at Victor who was tapping his fingers against the steering wheel to match the beat of the song. He had a smile on his face as he paid attention to his driving. He looked so handsome while he was focused. Y/n slid her hand on his knee, squeezing it gently.

"Hey now, don't get handsy with the driver." He joked.

The two of them continued to make jokes as they drove, playing driving games the whole time. Y/n never knew that a hitman could be this fun to be around. Not only did he keep her safe, but he kept her happy and entertained as well. And loved.

"Here we are Ms. Falcone." He winked.

"Vic don't call me that ever again." She groaned, closing the car door.

"Does mistress sound better?" He joked as he locked the car.

"Fuck no!" She fake gagged.

"Yeah, you're right. I like sweetheart better." He smiled cheesily.

Y/n blushed, clearing her throat as she walked towards the park. Victor loved that about her. How when she got embarrassed or flustered she would change the subject. It was cute.

"Where to boss?" He asked.

"I wanna pick some flowers for the vase in my room." She said.

Victor nodded as he walked with her through the park, both of them on the lookout for flowers. He knew her favorite colors so he kept an extra eye out for those ones. It looked funny honestly. A very intimidating bald man dressed in all black walking next to a bright and bubbly young woman in the middle of a park. It caught people's attention that's for sure. A lot of them recognized him though, so they kept their eyes away and mouths shut.

"Oh, Vicky! Look at these ones!" Y/n exclaimed, rushing over to a bunch of (y/f/f).

He chuckled at the nickname she had given him. It was cute. If anyone else called him that name he would have shot them on the spot. But, it was ok that she called him it. It was only ok if it was her.

"You like those ones, hm?"

She nodded, holding her hand open. Smiling he pulled out his pocket knife and placed it in her hand. He watched as she cut the flowers, leaving a good amount of stem on them so she could put them in her vase. Victor held out a wicker basket she had given him, allowing her to place them inside of it. Looking to his side he saw a patch of daisies. He bent down, plucking one from the ground and placing it gently behind y/n's ear. A blush creeped over her face as she looked up at him.

"Victor, you charmer."

He ran a thumb over her lips, leading across her jawline. He smiled and stepped back. If he showed any other forms of PDA towards her in this public of a setting her dad would surely find out. The two of them continued to walk towards the wooded part of the park, trails and benches were inside of it. Y/n continued her search for flowers as they did this, causing Victor to watch her in adoration. He looked around, making sure they were in the most secluded part of the woods where no one was around.

"Hun, come here." He said.

Y/n picked up a piece of lavender, placing it in her basket as she stood back up. Looking towards Victor she giggled and walked towards him. His eyes were soft and gentle, not a single ounce of malice, ill intent, or dark thoughts in them.

"Yes, Vicky?" She asked,

He placed his hand on her cheek, stroking it with his thumb. She looked up into his eyes, a small smile forming on his lips. She glanced down at them, licking her own.

"I can't do this anymore."

He leaned into her, placing his hand on the small of her back to close the distance between them. His lips landed on hers, moving in sweet harmony with each other. Fireworks went off in y/n's belly, closing her eyes and enjoying the kiss. After a few moments he pulled away.

"I couldn't wait any longer, honey." He smiled.

"I love you my darling."

"I love you too Vicky."

Decided to not do what you asked for and just tell you my batman universe. Since there are many characters, I'll just give a sad abstract for ya.

-I imagine the Batman universe timeline like how Gotham portrayed it: a mix of multiple different years. In this case I focus more on the 1920s, 40s, 90s and 2000.

-Look I understand why Bruce acts playboyish but I love my men goth and pathetic. He is goth and pathetic.

-Even though there were many conflicts, in the end batfamily becomes CANON. They all love each other very much (yes this includes Jason and Damian) (Damian acts like how the batfamily webtoon portrayed him aka not a piece of shit)

-Hyperempathetic Bruce Wayne my beloved.

-Yes Batman spanks the living shit out of his rogues but he has a list of who he thinks has more chance of reabilitating "sooner". Seeing how Harley is getting better, his hopes for Harvey leaving crime comes back AND STRONG.

-Batman and Harley are friends. In their own way.

-Harley acts similarly on how she acted in TNBA: nicer. Though she swears alot.

-She gets along pretty well with the Batfamily (said prior), but with the rogues too. The majority of them.

-She goes to Oswald's house to escape the cops every now and then.

-Obviously she's incredibly close with Ivy, but she gets along really well with Edward. Before Harley met joker (and became Harley Quinn) she was Ed's therapist, til he broke out of arkham. But she feels alot of sympathy for him. Ed is grateful for meeting Harley but he absolutely HATES that she knows everything about him, for obvious reasons.

-Edward dislikes Ivy alot. She hates him too so no probs.

-He streams on twitch and they can't legally ban him because it helps finding where he is.

-Ed avoids killing now. But in his first years as riddler he would do much horrible things. You can say he's "getting better" (he still commits crimes though)

-Kristen is canon here, though she doesn't die.

-The first years being the riddler, he was in an incredibly bad moment in his life. Batman once found him having a breakdown close to his own traps.

-Has autism, OCD, anxiety and schizophrenia. Though this has nothing to do with his crimes.

-The reason why he loathes attention SO MUCH is because of the extreme neglect he suffered through his entire life. Unconciously he is kind of showing in the face of every abuser/bully that he has power now.

-Works with The penguin.

-Oswald is kind of the dad of the rogues, if you interpret it that way. Everyone goes to him for help, being either advice on their personal life or the "please let me hide in your house Batman is going to break my femur" kind of help.

-Adopted Martin (gotham). Learned ASL to understand him better. Martin is a horrible child to everyone (future arsonist) EXCEPT Oswald (he genuinely loved his dad hell yeaah).

-Oswald used to be more aggressive (like in gotham) but over the years he's become more calm. Though if you push him over the edge he WILL put an UMBRELLA over your THROAT.

-For some goddamn reason he's close friends with Ivy.

-Victor Zsasz works for him.

-All of the rouges hates Joker. Every single one. Joker used to be less extreme but he's pushed too farz even fir the villains.

-Batcat canon idfc

-Selina's literally the most chill out of them all. All of the rouges be commiting terrorism and my girl really be here simply stealing pearls like😭 (/lh because my girl IS TALENTED)

-She doesnt gets along much with the rogues in general.

Here is my reason for shipping each of them:

Mario Falcone X Vicki Vale

Both Mario and Vicki were done incredibly dirty in season 3 of Gotham since they were just used for the awful drama that is Lee and Jim's love life. They are also girlboss X malewife which is one of my favorite ship dynamics. There are a couple of ways I can see them happening, one is where Mario doesn't die after he gets infected, and breaks up with Lee after realizing that she is still in love with Jim. I can see Vicki thinking that he is secretly a part of the mafia like his dad, only to realize he is a genuinely nice guy who wants nothing to do with the criminal lide for that sweet sweet enemies to lovers. Another way is if someone (court of owls or league of shadows) were to bring Mario back to life so he take over his father's empire since Sofia is too volatile and untrustworthy. Through her investigations, Vicki learns about this and saves him before they can mindwash him. I can also see Sofia mocking Mario for being weak only for Vicki to tell her off. That would be great.

Victor Zsasz X Lucius Fox

So, for starters, these two are opposites. Zsasz is a very carefree guy who really doesn't seem to care about much at all while Lucius is someone who cares too much, a true anxious mess. I honestly think that they could be very good for each other, with Victor helping him relax while Lucius shows Victor that somethings are worth fighting for, not for money, but because it is the right thing to do. I also love the image of Zsasz showing up all bloodied and injured in Lucius' home to then smile at him and pass out on the floor. Lucius taking care of Zsasz and Zsasz protecting Lucius from other criminals despite him being a "good guy" is ched's kiss. I actually headcamon that they were dating up until season 4 without anyone in the GCPD noticing (Oswald totally knew it though and was happy for his assassin,) up until when Zsasz betrayed Penguin. I think that Victor starting to work for Sofia would be what broke them up, because as bad as Penguin is, he at least has morals. Sofia was hunting cops down. That is too much for Lucius. They break up, but hey, who knows. Maybe now that Zsasz isn't really working for anyone they could get back together :)

Sofia Falcone X Harvey Dent

This relationship is defined by "I can make him worse." Two Face was done so dirty in Gotham and it is such a shame because he was a great character in seasons one and two. I kind of have this headcanon that he only goes for bad girls without realizing that they are bad and Sofia is the epitome of this. She is the baddest bitch of them all and Harvey, while he loves her, he is a fair and just man, albeit one who has a hard time making decisions. After being rejected by Jim, Sofia decides to go for the next hot good guy in the room, that being Dent. Dent falls in love with her almost immediately, much for Jim's horror who tries to break them up without telling Harvey the truth about his crimes and Sofia's. It doesn't work. Harvey realizes who Sofia is too late. He tries to get away, but drunk in power and her own ego, Sofia refuses to let him go and burns half of his face in acid, so that no one will ever love him again. If she can't have him, no one can. That is how Two Face is born. After that, Dent essentially becomes a vigilante, one who hunt those who had any connection with the Falcones and those who stand in his way. This one is a classic lovers to enemies that likely ends with both parties killing each other like a reverse romeo and juliet. They are so obsessed with each other and their hatred that while either of them could technically try to move on, neither is truly able to.

Gertrude Kappelput X Fish Mooney

At first, I started shipping this because I liked the idea of Oswald having two moms (which he kinda does) and them being married, but the more I thought about it, the more sense it made. Fish Mooney is a strong woman, a member of the mafia who was taught from a young age that kindness gets you killed. She loves no one besides herself and her mother, and even then it might be too much as few people know her mother is still alive. Gertrude is the opposite. This woman finds herself in the harshest, most cruel environment possible, and she still values kindness and love above all else, no matter how bad things may get. She adores her son, and she refuses to hide her love, which can cause her to be blinded by it. They just fit in so well together with Gertrude being Fish's heart and Fish being Gertrude's protector of sorts, bonus points that Gertrude is a single mother, someyhing very familiar to Fish. I can see Gertrude starting to work in Mooney's while Oswald is a child and their relationship blossoming from there. Fish and Oswald don't always see eye to eye, but she does genuinely love, even if he doesn't realize it. Fish wouldn't have been the one to order Oswald's execution here, but I can see Falcone ordering Fish to break his leg to show her loyalty. She does it out of fear he might do something worse for all three of them, but Oswald never forgives her for it. Their story is an absolute tragedy that ends with Penguin losing not one, but both of his mothers while being too late to tell them how much he loved them.
