okay, so. New Moon.

party disaster, dumping her and dipping, all happens normally.

but THEN. Bella finds out she’s pregnant.

(and I know you’re thinking- pre-marital sex?!?! Edward would NEVER! but listen. I am the author now. I’ve been around Christians my whole life. shut up!)

so anyway after a million pregnancy tests and a lot of googling about vampire baby legends, Bella’s like...well this is probably gonna be a situation,

Nessie doesn’t have an insane growth rate here because I hate that, so she has a normal amount of time to prepare, and she’s very...aware that the birth is gonna be Rough at best. So she goes to Jacob

who is NOT a wolf yet but Is aware of the pack and the treaty, and they are closer friends already, and she’s like ‘hey. paranormal emergency. you’re the only person in this town who enables me. help.’

and Jacob’s like I’m Fucking Fifteen and goes and gets Leah, since she’s technically an adult and a girl

(ms. meyer How did you make one of leah’s only 3 character traits ‘upset she’s infertile’ and then not have her support bella’s choices in breaking dawn please make it make sense)

so they start brainstorming solutions and the best they can work with is. Bella’s gotta ride out the pregnancy in hiding. they have no way of knowing whether she can survive the pregnancy and the only clue they have about whether the baby will be a monster or not is from google searches, but they also can’t exactly take her to an obgyn when her uterus feels like it’s calcified and her ribs are getting broken and she seems to be craving blood

So, Leah’s got her own little place. Bella moves in there, telling Charlie she wants to move back in with Renee (she knows her parents would never willingly call each other so as long as she keeps up communicating with both of them they should be none the wiser of her growing a little dracula in Leah Clearwater’s basement).

Leah has already defected from the wolf pack at this point (because...the Cullen’s left and she didn’t really like any of the guys anyway lmao) so they don’t run the risk of them hearing her thoughts while she’s in wolf form. She goes out and hunts animals, brings them back and her and Jake drain the blood from them so Bella can drink it. All three of them find this extremely disgusting obviously but Jake’s loyal and a little bit lovestruck, Leah’s a supportive friend and queen, and Bella’s just trying to keep her and her baby alive, and none of them feel like trying to rob a blood bank

Bella is 100% certain the baby will just be a baby who happens to like blood, like she was in bd, but the tentative plan is that if a crazy soulless monster comes out of her Leah will...handle that...

Which neither are thrilled about, so Bella’s just trying to focus on staying positive. And between that, trying to survive and stay hidden, Bella doesn’t really have time to...Check Out the way she did in new moon. Like, she’s absolutely still depressed, and she’s still getting an occasional Edward hallucination because carrying a vampire baby counts as reckless in many books, but she’s just more...resigned and pissed than anything. She’ll have days like the ‘possibilities’ scene, but more often than not she’s just telling the Edward hallucination to go fuck himself when he’s begging her to find the real him so they can have Carlisle deal with the pregnancy

at some point, Seth gets roped into the whole mess (he’s prone to just breaking into his sister’s house) but since he’s like, 13 and The Best Baby Boy he’s immediately supportive. He didn’t even fucking know about the wolves and the vampires until he walked in on a six months pregnant Bella drinking blood while his sister and Jacob are hacking away at a dead deer, but he’s like...you know when you were 13 and sneaking around about Anything made you feel like the coolest person alive? point is he’s helpful

AND he can get away with spending a lot of time at Leah’s house without anyone finding it weird, unlike Jacob, so he starts spending most of his free time there keeping Bella company and brightening her day up

HE is the one who enables her when she comes up with the name Renesmee lmao

(just because she hates Edward doesn’t mean Esme ever did anything wrong!)

anyway these four become the DORKIEST and WEIRDEST little family it’s cute

so then. labor.

it’s less...graphic than in bd because Bella hasn’t been actively dying the whole pregnancy and she doesn’t snap her spine in half, but it’s still. bad.

she essentially delivers a rock that Nessie then begins chewing her way out of. she’s actively bleeding out. Jacob’s having a panic attack. Leah made Seth watch so he would never have unprotected sex and the scare tactic is working. Leah’s covered in Bella’s blood which is not great considering she’s Holding A Rock That A Vampire Is Emerging From

Leah’s been taking classes and researching deliveries so she needs to stitch Bella up and see what else is wrong but Seth is rocking back and forth on the floor crying and Jacob’s screaming and pacing too fast to grab so she’s like. Bella babe I know you’re dying but you need to hold this thing for me ksjdfllksf

so while she’s handling That, Bella’s got this weird little rock in her arms and is watching the baby slowly fight it’s way out like this is a very fucked up egg or something and she’s just. overwhelmed. maybe it’s the blood loss but she’s looking at the messy, scrunchy little face and she’s already in love and envisioning their lives together.

and then, you know, the baby bites her,

she has just enough time to think ‘how did we not think to prepare for that’ before she can feel the venom coursing through her. it’s just as bad as she remembers from James’ bite but somehow...easier to tolerate. she blacks out pretty quickly

the other 3 notice and are like : 👁👄👁

Jacob...literally explodes into a wolf On Spot

Seth darts out the fucking door he’s seen enough for one day

Leah, sole holder of the braincell, realizes Nessie just bit and isn’t drinking from Bella, and deduces this is like...a survival instinct or something. the baby instinctively changes it’s mother first thing. weirdly...touching?

So she gets the baby and checks that everything is physically okay with Bella (apart from you know. changing species) and is like...guess this is an issue for 3 days from now Leah

more immediate pressing issues: screaming new born baby and oh, yeah, the giant red wolf in the basement,

“Jacob I know this is disorienting but if you break anything in my house I’ll fucking kill you”

she really just leaves the poor boy to go get the baby cleaned up and warm up some of the frozen blood they’ve got in her fridge (RUINING HER TUPPERWARE, BELLA)

she’s not worried about the wolf pack mind meld yet because she knows Sam took the guys on a mission way farther up the coast for a few days and they’ll be too far away to hear Jake. hopefully, by the time they get back, Bella will be awake and they’ll have made an escape plan by then

and as she’s bottle feeding blood to the baby she’s thrilled that it seems to be like...relatively normal and not s horrific monster or anything. mission: unwillingly murder my best friend’s baby has been successfully canceled

“Oh Goddamn it....Renesmee DOES fit you...”

Seth, from where he’s cowering behind the couch: “told you”

so, Jake eventually calms down, they spend the next few days cooing over Nessie and brainstorming how to handle Bella when she wakes up a vampire, and also nicknaming Nessie ‘Nessie’ because they know Bella will find that intolerable and they feel she deserves karmic punishment for stressing them out so much lmao

so, three days are up. Seth’s upstairs putting on a way-too-elaborate puppet show for the baby with not a care in the world. Leah and Jake are in the basement because they know Bella probably won’t want their wolf blood and their ready to phase in case she gets a little aggressive

but she just wakes up and is like. hey! how’s it going? where’s my baby?

sjdhfksdj they were expecting feral but Bella still has her super self-control. she didn’t even realize she’d changed into a vampire until they told her lmao

Bella’s a little too freaked out to try hunting yet so they give her some of the stored blood they’ve been feeding Ness and she’s like. good to go. Leah’s about to scream like have the elders been exaggerating this whole time or is Bella truly a freak??? lol

So, they spend a couple days just...relaxing, Bella and Renesmee bonding, they’re trying to come up with fun places Bella can move to with the baby so no one she knows finds out, and every now and then Leah and Jake go out and she tries to help him get the wolf thing under control

and then,,,,the pack get back from their mission early

and immediately are able to read Jacob’s mind

so they head over to Start Shit because there’s two bloodsuckers on their land but,

the pack not attacking because Jake imprinted on Renesmee? tired. the pack not attacking because Jake’s Alpha Genes have taken over and declared Nessie and Bella as part of his Pack and attacking would literally start a war? inspired

so they hash the whole thing out....ultimately Sam decides Bella is more of a victim than a threat, and since neither her or Nessie seem to be going on a bloodlust rampage any time soon...he decides to grant them immunity from the whole ‘kill the vampires’ rule. He’ll let her and her daughter stay in La Push as long as they agree to stick to animals and only hunt out of town. PLUS from what little Bella knows about the Volturi, she’s worried about them finding out about Nessie, so they’ll offer protection if that does happen, in exchange for her being able to help them with intel on any other vampire threats in the area (you know like. if a nomad is fucking stuff up in a nearby city, they’ll send her to talk to them first before deciding if they need to intervene. Sam has become acutely aware he has a lot of teens and kids in his pack, so he’s trying to keep them out of fights as much as possible)

anyway that’s the story of Nessie gaining like 17 chaotic as hell ride or die uncles,

let’s fast forward a bit

it’s like 15 years later. Bella’s not living with Leah anymore, but she’s got a cute apartment in a nearby town, and owns and runs a bookstore on the first floor of it. she got her ged and did college online and teaches night classes at a community college. She’s still in contact with her parents, who Adore the life out of Nessie. She still helps the pack out and they’re all close. Nessie is a handful but in a fun and lovable way. They go on little weekend trips whenever they have time. Bella’s happy.

but then a. Situation. arises.

basically, the Volturi have been made aware of some unknown vampire chasing others out of the pacific northwest and conspiring with shapeshifters. and you know when Aro gets curious he tends to spin things dramatically. who’s to say this vampire isn’t conspiring against all vampires? against them? why has no one’s special talents worked on her? he simply must find out.

Bella and the Pack get word and decide their best course of action for now is to go on the run. they’re not gonna be able to take on a whole army but if they can bide some time and lay low they might be able to figure something out

except Bella is like....I have a teenage hybrid that the Volturi don’t know about yet...it would be EXTREMELY irresponsible to take her with me

but she can’t send Nessie to Charlie or Renee because they don’t know about her...dietary restrictions. She can’t stay with Billy or anyone else in La Push because the Volturi might trace the pack’s scent there and discover her. She’s panicking, they have to leave in a few days max and she can’t find a safe place for her daughter

and then she’s like.....fuck.

she had run into Jasper a couple of years ago- they have the same forgery guy and were heading to his building around the same time as a coincidence. She promised to forgive him for the party incident if he promised not to tell Edward he saw her and that she’s a vampire now. He agreed, but then told her Edward’s been living on his own for a while now and insisted on giving her his number...she never could bring herself to call it or delete it...but now...if she wants to be 100% Nessie is safe and protected...

fuck

So, the past 15 years have been fairly rough for Edward

he’s still convinced leaving in order to save Bella was the best course of action, but like...the vampires canonically mate for life. that’s his soulmate. he’s absolutely miserable without her. he’s thought about cracking and going to find her again but he always talks himself out of it, convinced she’d just tell him she hates him or something

so as stated in his patented Edward Cullen Self Loathing Guide, first thing to do is isolate yourself from all the lovebirds you usually live with. Sure, he keeps in contact, but...not well. he’s currently living alone and posing as a university student. He’s not even really sure what he’s supposed to be majoring in. He’s mostly been in a haze since he left Forks.

and one day....he gets a call from an unknown number. he ignores it, thinking it’s a spam call. but then it calls like 8 more times in a row and he figures answering might be a bit smarter than simply throwing it at the wall

And Edward...swears he came back to life and immediately had a heart attack the second he hears Bella’s voice

He feels breathless and disoriented the whole conversation, trying to figure out if his memory did her voice any justice, trying to rush out 15 years worth of apologies, trying to comprehend she’s actually speaking to him.

But Bella’s very blunt on the phone. She doesn’t want to let herself get emotional. She’s on a time limit, and she has to focus on getting her daughter to safety

And Edward swears he somehow misheard her the first ten or so times she told him. He had a daughter? that wasn’t possible

“she has the audacity to be your Evil Twin so I’m pretty sure it’s possible”

so she gives him a rundown. she needs to go into hiding, no I don’t need your help with that, gives him details about Nessie, what she’s like, what she likes to do, her diet, her favorite color, how annoyed she is by this whole situation, “Edward I know you don’t love me anymore, but I remember how protective you were, and that’s what I need Nessie to have right now. She needs you right now” and Edward wants so badly to refute Bella’s claim of lost love, to tell her he has absolutely no idea how to be a parent, but...her tone is aching so much he can barely speak. He can’t let Bella down again, and he can’t let this little girl he foolishly created and left down anymore than he already has, either.

So he agrees, she tells him to be at the airport in a few days, and hangs up.

Edward loses about half a day staring at a wall in shock, before he jumps into preparations.

Bella told him while their daughter possessed some speed and strength, hunting was fairly dangerous for her. She was more delicate than his kind, and had a heartbeat. Reheated blood bags had been their best option, and she also needed human food as well. He also had to get a room ready for her- he wandered around stores for hours, reading young girls minds to see if there was any furniture or decorations that were universally liked- which was of course, fruitless, but he did manage to find a handful of things he was sure Bella would have liked at that age, and prayed for the best. He somehow got himself covered in purple paint that was a nightmare to get off. Bella had sent him some forged documents claiming Nessie was his younger sister he’d won custody of, and he got her enrolled in a nearby school. He lived every day leading up to her arrival staving off a panic attack.

it wasn’t until he was on the way to the airport that he realized he forgot to inform his family about this life update. they must’ve been on a hunting trip, because he got nothing but voicemails

imagine being Carlisle and you come home to a voicemail from your son who’s banished himself from the family that’s just like ‘hi. you’re a grandfather now. I’m having a nervous breakdown and might crash my car. call me back at your earliest convenience I suppose” like what would you DO

after he gets to the airport he starts panicking again, realizing Bella had never actually sent him a picture, worrying about how he’d find her, but then- he sees a tiny girl with untamed, dark red curls, features strikingly similar to his own that are pulled into the expression Bella always made when she was reading, absently chewing on her lip, and before she looks at him with her mother’s big brown eyes, he already knows who he’s looking at, and he’s certain if he was human his tear ducts would be having a fit right now

Renesmee, however, seems less willing to have an emotional meeting. She mumbles out a simple greeting before gathering up her bags and heading for the door, Edward rushing behind her to try and help

listen. the awkwardness of Charlie trying to connect with Bella. but 10000x worse because of Edward’s overthinking, self-deprecating ass and Nessie being like ‘ah yes the guy who broke my pregnant teenage mothers heart, fantastic’ lmao

the car ride is p a i n f u l. Edward’s trying so hard for light conversation and Nessie’s barely giving one word answers. Bella had warned her about the mind reading so she was carefully keeping her mind blocked, which Edward is trying very hard to be understanding about instead of annoyed, but By God does he want to know everything about her

when they get back to his place, she quietly thanks him for the room and then promptly locks him out of it lol. He spends the rest of the day just pacing back and forth until he realizes he should eventually feed her lmao

and that’s...kinda how the first couple weeks go. she only emerges from her room if he bribes her with food, she awkwardly tries to dodge his questions, he drives her to school and then begs her to tell him how it went when he picks her up, he spends his college classes distracted because he’s freaking out constantly about how to successfully bond with her. His favorite time of day now is night, because she can’t block her mind while she’s asleep, and even if her dreams are all nonsense they’re still...part of her that he gets to know.

His family keeps begging him to let them meet her, but he’s pushing back because if she’s this bad at adjusting to one new family member, how is she going to handle six more?

anyway they....very slowly make some progress. much too slowly for Edward’s taste, but hey.

Like he finds out snacks she likes. or jewelry she likes. stuff like that and just...wordlessly leaves it around for her lmao. he thinks it’s like trying not to startle a deer, Nessie thinks it’s more like a cat trying to gift you a dead mouse, but either way it’s weirdly endearing.

He notices she always has a huffy little frown when he picks her up on Wednesdays. So instead of begging her for an ounce of information of her school life, he asks her one Wednesday morning if she’s excited for the day and she admits she has an elective class every Wednesday with a girl she doesn’t get along with.

He gets her school photos (and Weeps) and realizes apart from her room the home is fairly barren of decorations, so he buys a bunch of picture frames and hangs up the school shots, and some pictures of the Cullen’s over the years, and the few he has of Bella that he could never bear to part with. Other than catching her smiling at the prom picture of her parents, Nessie doesn’t say anything- but the next time he comes home from hunting, there’s a pile of pictures of her growing up on the table, and he starts weeping all over again as he hangs them up

(there’s one of her and Bella hugging and looking at the camera with identical grins and joy in their eyes, he can’t help but put that in his room. He hopes one day he’ll get to see a scene like that in person)

He starts trying to get her out of her room a little more- he still hasn’t managed to a get a ‘favorites’ list out of her, so he starts playing movies Bella loved, to see if any of them lure her out. some do, some don’t- he got halfway through a Lord of the Rings marathon, which was Torture in his opinion, but then Ness came out and quietly asked if he could restart it and suddenly they became his favorite movies ever.

Bella’s not able to contact her on a set schedule or anything because of her situation (and you can bet your ass Edward’s contacted every vampire he knows and ordered them to help her out if they come across her or the Volturi), and Edward realizes that’s probably taking a toll on the girl, so he starts telling her stories of her mother when he knew her in Forks. She’s particularly amused by the blood typing incident- the first time Edward hears Nessie properly laugh, he literally starts crying on the spot

could you imagine the sheer panic if she ever gets so much as a cold

And yes, she’s still pissed on Bella’s behalf, and yes, she specifically blasts 70s music because Bella told her he hates it one time, and yes, if he looks at her like he’s a kicked puppy one more time she might claw his eyes out, and yes, she refuses to introduce him to her friends from school because she Knows everyone will then start asking her about her ‘hot brother’ and she can’t live with that and also can’t live with him knowing that so she told him if he ever introduces himself to any of her friends she’ll set him on fire, and yes, she’s homesick 95% of the time but...he’s growing on her. like a mold, or something.

(okay, maybe when Seth tried to analyze why Mamma Mia is her favorite musical, he might have had a point. half a point. quarter of a point. shut up.)

And Edward’s still trying to not have a panic attack every time she’s out of his sight- he’s got Carlisle keeping tabs on the Volturi for him, and it’s not exactly hard for him to keep track of her through other people’s minds- but she’s so tiny and her heartbeat is Too Fast and what if she inherited her mother’s unlucky streak??

but they’re toeing the line of co-existing peacefully and Edward’s scared to push it past that

then he has to, because it turns out he sent her to one of Those Schools where the parents have to be involved in the school in some way or another and Nessie’s Annoyed

sdkjfsdkjf she keeps trying to get him to just sign up for like pta meetings or something and he’s like ‘I need you to understand you are the only person in this town I actually know or like I Cannot survive around fundraiser moms I can’t’

so she’s like ugh fine I’m in the drama club

listen.....Stage Parent Edward Cullen.......the power this holds...

that’s right this whole post was an elaborate ruse for me to make a musical theater headcanon again lmao

no okay but seriously he starts off just helping build sets and stuff like that but then midway through the year their music teacher gets fired and the schools like begging him to take over because they can’t find someone in enough time that’ll know the music for the show they’re doing and he’s like “I need you to understand Nessie will never talk to me again if I start actually working at her school” and they’re like “She also will never talk to you again if we have to cancel the big musical, though” and he’s like. fuck.

silent treatment for a week and a half

lmao so now he’s trying to juggle being an overly-enthusiastic stage parent who’s making costumes and sets and kinda crying backstage when he sees his daughter in her costume with also being the music director for the damn show and trying to teach a bunch of kids how to read sheet music

one day he ended up in a coffee shop with the hair and makeup moms, gossiping about the cast’s love lives, and he literally doesn’t know how he got there

is it wrong to pass Nessie in class even though she’s putting all the wrong answers on the test but he Knows she knows the right answers and is only answering wrong to try and get a rise out of him

Bella sneaks into town to see the show- they thought it would push their luck if the pack came, but they sent an ungodly amount of flowers and candy. When she snuck into the house while Ness was sleeping she Was Not expecting to find Edward up to his elbows in sequins, trying to fix a bedazzler he accidentally broke in frustration, muttering under his breath about how if Nessie’s romantic opposite in the show doesn’t keep his thoughts clean he’s gonna kill him- and it just cracks her up. She WAS nervous about seeing Edward again but now she’s assured he’s still a dork lol

So Edward freaks when he sees her but they don’t wanna wake Ness up so they’re trying to be quiet but like. they’re going through it

Like Bella Wants to be pissed at him but she can’t, she still loves him- and while she can’t just get over what he did to her, it’s also not lost on her that ‘leaving to protect someone I love’ is literally what she had to do to her daughter

And Edward....Edward, who only left to give Bella a chance at a safe, human life, seeing Bella in front of him as a vampire, knowing it’s his fault she ended up that way and she had to go through it alone, had to raise a baby herself because he’d made it so hard to find him...knowing if he’d just pulled his head out of his ass he would have been able to be there for her...would be able to form a coherent sentence around his love right now, would have long and fond memories of Nessie’s childhood, likely wouldn’t have to watch Bella hide from the Volturi...he’s back in a self-loathing spiral already

But they haven’t seen each other in so long and they just don’t want to...deal with the unpleasantness right now, so they just push it aside. Bella helps Edward with the costumes. Edward fills her in on what she’s been missing with Nessie. Bella tells him some stuff about when Ness was younger. They just spend the night talking, and it feels like no time has past between them at all- which just makes the heartaches a little stronger

When Nessie wakes up to her mother there she’s ecstatic- bubbly and loud and glued to Bella’s hip all day, giving her in depth play-by-plays of her school and rehearsals and friends she’s made, bouncing on her toes all morning, hyper, giggly, and- it kind of breaks Edward’s heart a little, even though he knows he hasn’t really...earned this side of his daughter, yet.

(at least he got his wish of seeing their twin smiles in person)

(he wishes he could see them every second of every day)

so the girls spend the day catching up while Edward mostly feels like a thirdwheel, and then they have to get Ness over to the school so she can get ready

Bella decides to hang out around the school theater before the show actually starts- she leans against the wall next to the piano, the two talking in hushed tones while Edward runs through songs. Bella really missed watching him play- the only thing that managed to drag her away from it was when Nessie called her to the dressing room to help with a hair emergency

she didn’t talk to him much at intermission, her attention being stolen by the rest of the Cullen family (who had been Very Loudly supporting the show so far, she knew Ness was probably dying of embarrassment backstage)

after the show, the three went back to Edward’s and just...talked. Nessie was gushing about the show and eating while her parents assured her she was the greatest actress ever born, simple stuff like that. she fell asleep sandwiched in between them on the couch

Bella realizes she’s never going to be able to bring herself to leave again if Nessie wakes up, and tells Edward as much. He clearly doesn’t want her to go just yet either, but...she’s on the run, it’s not like she has much choice

He has so much he wants to say to her but he just- can’t. it’s not the right time. but he’s hoping she can see that in his eyes

Bella shifts Nessie off her shoulder so Edward can hold her, and she gives him a light kiss and says ‘thank you, Edward’ before disappearing in a flash. she needed to go before she lost her nerve.

Edward can’t bring himself to let Nessie out of his arms, so instead of carrying her to bed he just stays there, holding her, trying his best not to think that that could be the last time for a long time he’d ever see his Bella again, trying not to let thoughts of a life he gave up unwittingly consume him

Roughly How I Would Write Twilight As A TV Show

SEASON 1 (AKA Book 1, Twilight)

It would start out with the typical Renee sending off Bella at the airport, but I think she should give her the camera now instead of later in the series, sort of like a send off present and it gives Bella an actual hobby. From the first scene it shows that Renee likes her daughter, but she doesn’t really cares and loves her, and that’s more on Bella’s side than hers, as Bella will hug her before going into the airport and Renee will let go before Bella and Bella will just keep hanging on to her, showing that she doesn’t really want to be separated from her mom. Also, throughout the first season she will be constantly checking her flip phone (I still want this to have the same time setting) to see if her mom messages her, but she never does, which will sink Bella into a deeper and deeper depression each time she checks.

When she and Charlie meet it’s really awkward, but both sides are trying and both sides feel bad about making things awkward. Also throughout the first season whenever they start getting closer Bella will sort of put distance between them and then hate herself for it. Perhaps she pushes him away because she is unused to this type of parental love and it makes her nervous. When she gets to school she meets Jessica whose very nosy but because she’s a self proclaimed reporter and likes to know everything about everyone; and she does. Except for the Cullen's, and that’s why she’s so obsessed with them, because she doesn’t know enough about them or she senses their is more. When Edward first sees Bella, whose eating with Jessica and only Jessica because she has a bad rep around the town so she has no real friends, he can’t read her mind and that really freaks him out. We’ve now shifted perspective towards the Cullen’s, and Edward is having a crisis because he’s grown so used to knowing every person’s thought it sort have turned him into a bit of a control freak and now he’s not sure how to handle this, and his siblings are trying to calm him down. Also later, probably that night, he’s freaking out and he wants to go see her and maybe test if he can read her thoughts when she’s asleep, which his family’s all like ‘bruh stop’ but he doesn’t bruh stop and tests it out, only to find out he can’t and he doesn’t try again.

When Bella and Edward meet Bella doesn’t really care much about him and his weird behavior, but then he stopped a car with his hand and then she cared a whole lot more. Maybe after the hospital she tests it out, seeing if she was actually crazy or not. Like she steals one of her dad’s handcuffs and before class handcuffs Edward’s seat to the leg of the table then during class suddenly goes really close and Edward scoots away really fast, breaking the handcuffs, or just something similar to that where she tests if what she saw was actually real. She gets into a few more conversations with Edward stretched out, at some point maybe Bella will throw the golden onion at Edward in anger, who knows. Throughout this entire season we will be constantly switching perspectives from Edward and Bella, which will give us some more time with the Cullen siblings and their dynamic.

Anyway, Bella will ditch the dance to go to the city and then the beach Charlie requests for her to take a at least three friends, and so she recruit's Jessica, Mike and Jacob, and this is where we first meet Jacob Black, but not the first time we meet Mike. With Mike, I kinda completely changed him, and he’s now a kid with serious anger issues and a tendency for small amounts of arson and fights, which makes him an outsider like Jessica, but they never hung out as fellow rejects or anything. Charlie was probably a bit late picking up Bella from the airport because he was busy driving Mike home from yet another case of arson. He never really gets charged with anything, since Charlie has sorta took it upon himself to look after him. Anyway, Bella probably had taken a picture of him when she first got here and that made him really mad but she had ran away. Now, as she approaches him to ask him to go to the city with her, he tries to fight her, but as they fight she still asks him to go to the city and than the beach with her, which kinda throws Mike off but he actually agrees because he’s worried his mom is worried about him not having friends, so they make a deal about pretending to be friends but of course they turn into real friends. Now with Jacob, Bella goes to his house to ask him, and find him fixing some weird broken thing with the music blasting and him singing along. When he see’s her he immediately knows it’s her and is thrilled. Charlie also came along to see Billy and we see cute friendship moments between them, also Charlie confessing his worries about Bella and Billy giving him advice.

So these four head on out to the city, and it’s the first time these people have come together and they slowly form a tight friend group. They roam the city and start chaos everywhere they go. Mike teaches them all how to shoplift although finds out Jessica is practically a pro, Jacob wants to roam through the dumpsters for parts he can use and the rest of them help him with Mike setting the occasional fire in these dumpsters, Jessica shows them how to stalk people and they tail a guy all the way home but they forgot about the not going inside his house part and the guy notices them so they need to make a run for it, and Bella is trying to take all these picture and nearly dies due to her clumsiness and determination to take the perfect pictures which lead to the rest of the gang saving her from falling off a building or onto the subway tracks or something. All and all, they’re each surprised about how much they like each other, except for Jacob, he liked them all from the start.

So they decide to all go out to eat before heading to the beach and Bella says she wants to go to the book store really quick and to not wait up for her. She had actually seen this book about anomalies and such through the window earlier that day, and she decided to go back for it. She had decided to go to the city originally because the drama with Edward was getting to be too much and she just needed some time away from Forks, but that book had captured her attention. Anyway we go to Edward and his family, who were at the city because they figured it would prove a nice distraction from Bella. Alice couldn’t say that Bella would be in the city because Jacob is with her and they don’t really outright say that he’s a werewolf yet. At some point the Vam Fam had smelled Bella and Edward went to go see her, much to his Vam Fam’s disappointment.

So Bella almost gets attacked by that group of guys and Edward steps in and they get to talking in the car he had stolen; well, technically Alice was trying to steal it but when he sensed Bella he took it from her and drove off. They go to the restaurant where her friends are and confirm that she has a ride with Edward to the beach, although at first he just says he’ll take her home afterwards since he can’t go to the beach, but Jacob’s all like ‘nah bro I’ll give you a pass’, since Jacob couldn’t care less about whatever feud is going on. So they eat and have an argument and they go back to the car all angry, and Edward is still bitching about how he doesn’t understand what Bella thinks or feels, since what with reading minds for roughly a century he doesn’t really remember how to properly understand a person, and this frustrates him. Before they go into the car, Bella checks her phone to see if her mom and texted her back. You see, before going on this day trip Bella decided to take initiative and text her mom first, since she didn’t do that before cause she was worried about bothering her. She did this early in the morning, and it was already night, and her mom still hadn’t texted her back. This caused sort of an emotional breakdown from Bella right there in the parking lot. She’s basically all like ‘fine, you wanna know what I’m thinking? well here you go’ and she just tells him everything, about her current situation with her parents, why she decided to move here even though she didn’t want to, how she just always wanted her mom to show that she loved her so she would always do everything to get that love, how guilty she feels for not being able to give Charlie the daughter-father relationship he probably wanted, feeling guilty wanting to be loved by her mom, basically screaming all her trauma at him. At the end she silently gets in the car and looks out the window as they drive away.

Edward feels kinda bad, so they have a nice bonding conversation, and Bella is still freaked out about his speeding. Anyway, it’s during this conversation that they both sort of develop//realize feelings they have for the other person. At first, Edward was just drawn to Bella because he was unused to not understanding people and he became obsessed with knowing her, and as he had gotten to know her he developed feelings. As for Bella, throughout this she had been interested in his inhuman nature and was equally as obsessed to understand and then also ended up falling for him. Basically they fell in love because of a desire to get to know the other person and desperate to make the person not know them. But when Bella tore down her walls in that parking lot Edward also told her some personal stuff, and I think it’s here in this car that Edward drops the bomb about being a vampire, and with now more fully understanding each other and no longer having that draw of being close to each other because of wanting to understand, there still a desire in both of them to keep seeing each other and that’s when they both realize their love.

Anyway, Edward drops Bella off and leaves immediately, but we still see people that live there scold Jacob for telling him it was okay to come drop of Bella. The squad have fun at the beach and Bella gets some great pictures, although she’s still digesting the whole Edward’s a vampire and she might be in love with him thing, so she tells her knew found friends about the whole being in love part and glosses over the vampire bit. Back with Edward, he tells his Vam Fam about being in love and telling Bella, where there are definitely mixed reactions. Now this is where they start interacting with Bella directly, rather when before they just tried to get Edward to chill about her. Alice is of course thrilled about this and has publicly declared Bella as her new best friend; it was an actual public declare, she had a microphone and announced it several times in the middle of town. Rosalie is super not thrilled about this, and definitely treats Bella coldly, although she’s thrown off at Bella’s apathy. Emmett, like Alice, is 100% down with this. Jasper is cautious, but otherwise just wants to watch it all unfold. Carlisle and Esme weren’t happy about exposing them to some teenager, but they support his endeavors none the less.

Anyway, after many shenanigans Bella is invited to dinner at the Cullen's, and she brings along Jessica, Mike, and Jacob. The family’s a bit wary of this guest list, as it was the girl who had tried several times to break into their house and expose their secrets, a well known arsonist, and a soon to be werewolf. But, they actually all had a grand time, and they all kinda start acting like one big family. Particularly Jacob with Jasper and Alice, and Jessica with Rosalie and Emmett, to set up my plans down the line. Now, I’m not saying that there NEEDS to be a polymerous relationship with these two sets of three, but I’d like for it to happen. Jacob would probably notice Jasper’s not really enjoying himself at this socializing stuff, especially with the smell of human blood and all, and Jacob comes over and they get to talking and Jasper will get into that, and it’s helpful that since Jacob is in the future going to be a werewolf he doesn’t have the urge to eat him. So Alice will come over, thrilled that Jasper is having a good time, and then her and Jacob will probably get into something wholesomely chaotic and Jasper will just sit back and watch, enjoying the drama that will come from this. And with Jessica, she’s asking a million questions and exploring the house as much as she could, and Rosalie has taken it upon herself to try and placate her, but Jessica ends up roping Emmett into something and Rosalie now needs to look after him too, but somehow they all have a good time. Meanwhile, I feel like Mike would really vibe with Carlisle and Esme, not in a polymerous way like the others. They’re so exasperated by his behavior but never rude to him, which he finds jarring and it encourages him to be nice to them, and they sort of become like parents to him.

Anyway more stuff happens, probably romantic stuff between Edward and Bella and Jacob kinda slowly realizing he has feelings for Bella more near the end of the season but not letting it show, and then there comes the baseball scene. While they’re doing baseball Jessica actually put a sort of spy camera thing on Bella, but Edward wasn’t around when this was happening, and Jacob was with Jessica when she did this so Alice couldn’t see it. Anyway, Jessica, Jacob and Mike go about spying and they find out that about the whole vampire thing, Then the other vampires show up and they actually drive down to help, driving out onto the field, nearly running over the other vampires, which by the way, besides Victoria, James, Laurent, there’s actually going to be two more vampires with them. I say this, because after getting out of the car, Mike throws a match at this other vampire which sets them ablaze. James, who afterwards comments how he always hated this vampire, takes this opportunity to tear them to pieces as they burn so they die, while Victoria and Laurent are in the back like ‘this bitch really just did that; this is why we can never add new members to our group’. I dunno, I feel like this group of three should be a lot closer and maybe not spilt up or something, like their actually friends.

So now James has two objectives; make Mike into a vampire, and eat Bella, in no particular order. He just takes a really big interest in Mike. Anyway, Laurent is just so done with this drama, and tells James that the Volturi was probably going to be really upset about four non vampires being in on the secret, so they probably don’t want to get involved when shit hits the fan, and Victoria, who is always down for a little murdering, convinces him that they need a more careful plan then just going after them. So James reluctantly agrees, but when they leave he tells the other vampire that’s there to go after Bella and Mike and bring her to him without telling the other two.

So drama ensues, they gotta keep Mike and Bella from dying, they gotta deal with more people knowing their vampires, etc. I think that the vampire that now’s gotta track down Bella and Mike, who I’m gonna call Eric because this is Eric now, isn’t super down with this but is going with it cause he doesn’t want James to kill him. So he feels bad about all this and becomes pretty sympathetic, and the Vam Fam at some point will try and convince him to just join them and that they’ll protect him, but Eric didn’t do it so they had to kill him in the end and it’s very sad.

Anyway, we’ll probably go back to the vampire trio and they figured out that James sent Eric away and now Eric was dead, and they’re just talking. Also, I’m making Victoria and James not mates, because I don’t want that. And there’s the dance that of course needs to happen, and at the end of the season it shows how far Bella’s and Charlie’s relationship has progressed, and with Bella injured she needs Charlie to do some things for her, and she’s forced to accept parental care and learns that it’s actually not that bad. She also stopped constantly checking to see if Renee had texted her. So back to the dance, the Vam Fam siblings and Bella with her friends all go and of course cause chaos that gets them kicked out of the dance. So they decide to go running around town instead, and Bella and Edward have a quiet moment together and it’s nice.

SEASON 2 (AKA Book 2, New Moon)

So the Vam Fam doesn’t leave town, because I don’t want them to. There was going to be a birthday party at the Vam Fam’s house, and along with Bella’s friends Charlie’s invited and he tries to invite Billy too but then Billy turns him down saying he can’t go there, which makes Charlie sad so now Billy’s sad and he grits his teeth and asks the Vam Fam to hold the birthday party somewhere on neutral ground, so they do and they end up going to like the woods or something, maybe that special meadow Bella and Edward had gone to. So the party’s going fine although it’s a little tense with Billy there, which kinda makes the rest of the people there confused. Jacob doesn’t really get why his dad hates the Vam Fam, or why most everyone he knows does, and he tires to get them to get along, but it fails.

When Billy sees Jacob all friendly with the Vam Fam, particularly Jasper and Alice, Billy tries to put a stop to that, telling Jacob not to get to close. Jacob’s trying to make light of the situation, being all like, ‘nah dad, you crazy’ and Emmett joins in trying to make a joke of it; I feel like Emmett and Jacob would have such a Fred and George Weasley vibe to them as friends. However, as Billy gets more and more persistent with Jacob cutting himself off from the Vam Fam, Jasper gets noticeably hostile, not liking that idea at all, and ready to throw down with Billy. Alice, also visibly upset but not hostile, tries to calm him down while the rest of the family tries to reason with Billy, as they are also not thrilled with the idea of not seeing Jacob again and they don’t want Jasper to fight Billy and break the treaty. Bella’s trying to get everyone to calm down by reminding Billy that this is her birthday party and uses her birthday privilege's to ask him to leave it for now. Meanwhile Mike is yelling at Billy and Jessica is writing everything down, Charlie’s asking Billy to not ruin his daughter’s birthday party, it’s a mess all around.

At some point Billy says something that goes to far and Jasper lunges for him and the Vam Fam need to stop him and such. After the party Jacob takes Billy home, and both of them think that the other doesn’t know about the vampires so they’re just kinda tensely all like ‘well that was weird, probably nothing to really look to deeply into though, haha’. After the party to lighten the mood Edward starts bitching about how he couldn’t give Bella a present, and so Bella takes a picture of him and says ‘there, now you gave me a present, happy?’ and it’s very cute. Jacob gets a bit upset at Jasper, telling him that he shouldn’t attack his father and stuff, and Jasper doesn’t feel bad about it and is just sad that Jacob is now upset and Alice is trying to get them to make up, which they do eventually. And Charlie questions Billy about his odd hatred and Billy kinda dodges the questions.

So in this season it’s basically about how Edward and Bella are dating and Jacob is secretly in love with Bella but it’s not a secret to the Vam Fam thanks to their powers and then Jacob deals with the werewolf thing and how he’s suddenly supposed to hate them. It’s a very Jacob centered season. And there is of course the motorcycles, which are there because Jacob gave them to Bella as a birthday gift, saying he had found them at the dump a few days ago and still need to fix them up, so now they start hanging out alone more to fix the bikes, although sometimes Mike and Jessica tag along. This is also where Bella learns that she actually really likes the rush of adrenaline, much to Edward’s nagging. There’s also going to be some tenseness between Edward and Jacob in this season, but it’s more quiet since Jacob never outright says he likes Bella, although after he learns about the whole mind reading thing he doesn’t know what to do about that. And of course there’s the jealousy from Jasper and Alice’s side, who are slowly coming to terms with their feelings for Jacob, and are heavily conflicted because he’s going to be a werewolf and they can’t be together after he turns but they still want to make the most of the time they spend together, and it makes Alice anxious when she can’t see Jacob’s future which makes him unpredictable to her and she worries if something bad will happen to him when he’s out of her sight which in turn makes Jasper sense her worry and makes him worried so they try to be around him as much as possible, which he enjoys but is a bit thrown off by.

This is where Jacob introduces his other friends Emery and Quil. I want to make them a bit more distinct from each other, so I want Emery to be the quieter yet very rebellious one that does crazy shit, and Quil to be the more extroverted one but can get very moody and cynical, which Leah can definitely vibe with and they often have deep conversations. Speaking of Leah, we also meet Leah and Seth this season. The Vam Fam is less than friendly towards them, similar to how they treated Jacob at first, the only difference being that they didn’t end up warming up to them, except for Leah and Rosalie, who became surprising friends.

Jacob gets stressed about the situation with Emery suddenly joining Sam’s little cult, and while the Vam Fam sympathizes with him, they don’t tell him the secret. He’s not super surprised that Emery suddenly got into the group, since Emery’s always doing crazy shit and so does Sam’s pack, but he does find it weird that he’s suddenly not talking to him and Quil anymore. So Jessica is now super ready to expose all of Sam’s secrets on this weird group and how he sucked Emery into it, so she, Jacob, Bella, Quil, Leah, Seth and Mike keep trying to find out about Sam’s crew, and Jasper and Alice try to put a stop to it, worried that finding out will trigger Jacob’s transformation, and Rosalie and Emmett sometimes give assistance because Jessica asked, but they don’t get to involved because of the treaty, and Edward is really worried about Bella while she does this so he’s torn between helping and stopping it, shifting from helping Jasper and Alice and Rosalie and Emmett.. And this sort of mystery solving thing carries on for a while, and at this point Sam and his crew are pretty fed up with it.

So then comes the time when Jacob becomes a werewolf, and happens after him, Bella, Mike, and Jessica take a break from spying and cause chaos at the movies; the employees saw them enter and they already knew it was going to be a rough day. Bella was recording the movie illegally, Mike set a small fire to the popcorn, Jessica broke them into where they were making the movies play and that’s where they watched it, and Jacob, in his sickened state, accidently broke the thing playing the movie and they had to bolt. Bella, Mike, and Jessica all get worried about him, and they try to go visit him at home but Billy keeps pushing them away, and the Vam Fam wouldn’t give any details, so Jessica does what she does best and breaks in, where Jacob nearly attacks her in his wolfy state, but he manages to calm down and he and Jessica talk about how he’s turning into a werewolf.

So after Jacob can go out and about, the pack tells him he can’t hang out with the Cullen’s anymore since they’re vampires, and Jacob’s all like, ‘okay, but they don’t hunt people, they hung animals right? so what’s the problem lmao’ he’s genuinely confused why they need to be all hostile towards them. And here while they’re trying to convince him to not hang out with vampires it can show the dynamic of the pack. Sam can come across as too harsh and a very dominate person, while his second in command, Jared, is much more chill and tires to broaden Sam’s narrow view. But Jared is the only one who can do this, since they’re very close and possibly lovers that have imprinted on each other. Emily is actually a werewolf now, and she got her scars because she and Sam actually became werewolves at the same time and when they first met as werewolves their hormones were all over the place so they attacked each other and that’s how Emily got her face injuries. Anyway, she’s got a level head too but she mostly thinks about what’s best for the pack rather than everyone like Jared does. Then there’s Paul, the guy whose always of the mindset to throw punches first and ask questions never. I’m going to make Brady and Collin here now too, and with Brady, he’s honestly apathetic to the idea of now being a wolf, and would much rather go read a book or something then be here with all this wolf drama. As for Brady, she’s pretty social awkward, but just as vicious as Paul if she gets into the mood. Basically, she’ll be all like, ‘uh, hi, yeah, um, maybe we should, uh, if you don’t mind that is, just go in and kill them all? please?’ and I changed Brady to a girl just to help with the ratio of boys to girls in the wolf tribe. As for Emery, he’s the one who will put himself in the most danger, but also he’s at odds with Sam what with them being half brothers and not having the best relationship before all this wolf stuff went down. Also, Jessica is there too when Jacob goes to meet them, which the pack isn’t happy about, telling her she can’t report this.

Anyway, the Vam Fam are depressed about the whole situation with Jacob cause they really liked him, so imagine their surprise while Bella and Mike were also hanging out at their house when Jacob and Jessica burst in. Jacob explains what’s been going on, basically asking if he can break the treaty and still hang out. Rosalie’s all like ‘bitch no’, nervous about the safety of her family, and Edward sides with her, much to Bella’s glaring. Esme and Carlisle, are hesitant, but do give in. And Alice, Jasper, Emmett are of course ecstatic of this news that he didn’t suddenly hate them. I think this is actually an opportunity for Jacob to get closer to Jasper and Alice, since Jasper can help with Jacob’s new found anger. I think werewolves when they first become werewolves they have an explosive temper, kind of like puberty, but then after a few months or however long they calm down. Anyway, Jasper can help with managing his anger, and this may result in some codependency's now that I think about it, but these books are built on codependent relationships, so the more the merrier.

But then the vampire trio tell the Volturi about the situation down at Forks, and the Vam Fam need to go down to the Voltari to go talk to them. But Jessica, who had actually started to gain a lot of odd information on the vampire world as any good reporter would, hears the news of the potential planned killing of the Vam Fam set up by the vampire trio, so now Bella, Mike, Jessica and Jacob need to go to the Volturi to put an end to that. Before the Vam Fam could even get to the Volturi, James gets all impatient and starts attacking them right then and there, in front of all those people. A fight scene happens, and then Jane shows up like ‘surprise bitch’, but then the real surprise comes when Bella and her friends show up, causing a scene and it accidentally lets James and his crew to get away.

I think it would be a cool scene if Jacob, Edward and Bella enter first ahead of the rest of them and the moment they’re in front of the Volturi, with Aro looking at them, he’ll smile and say something like ‘a vampire, a werewolf, and a human; what an oddity you all are’ and since these three had kinda been a bit at odds this season what with Jacob’s crush on Bella, now they are a united front. So they make an arrangement for them all to become vampires within a certain time frame or else they will be killed. Aro also says that they’ll occasionally go check up on them.

Now Edward’s being all emo and avoiding Bella, which makes her sad so Jacob goes and tracks down Edward and he bolts, so now Jacob is chasing after Edward, being all like ‘bitch you better go see her’, and he actually ends up catching him. Edward’s all like ‘but don’t you love her’ and Jacob just kinda shrugs and says something like how mutual love is much better than a one sided one. They have this heartfelt talk about stuff and Edward goes to see Bella, and Jacob, who at this point had just been comically chasing Edward around, allowed himself to cry once Edward left. Then he’ll go talk to Alice and Jasper, and throughout this entire season it seemed obvious that they were both trying so hard to keep hold on the ties they had, regardless of the obstacles, and now it’s kind of come full circle when they can just relax and be together and stuff, also there will be a small hint of Jacob’s returning feelings towards them. So Edward and Bella share a moment, maybe back at that meadow or something.

But the last scene of the season will be Leah and Seth at home with their dad Harry, and the whole Leah transforming which gives Harry a heart attack and then Seth transforms too, and it’s just going to be a very jarring scene to end on.

SEASON 3 (AKA Book 3, Eclipse)

So the first scene will be with how James, Laurent and Victoria are making their army and this is where Bree comes in. Victoria is honestly thriving with this whole army thing, and James is just super impatient and wants to just go kill em, and Laurent is low key stressed about pissing off the Volturi.

But with the wolf pack, there’s a new dynamic that Leah and Seth brings and there’s the whole grief with their father, so maybe the just refuse to transform for a while, sort of defying the pack and it’s alpha and choosing not to be a part of it. So that’ll cause drama for a while, as if there wasn’t enough with Jacob still running around with vampires and by the looks of things getting way to close to Jasper and Alice. Jacob is trying to get over his love of Bella, and is doing pretty good, much to the delight of Jasper and Alice, but they don’t want to rush things. Also, I don’t think werewolves should be able to share thoughts so they know exactly what’s happening with each other at all times, but instead when they shape into werewolves they can communicate with their minds. That way Jacob can keep it a secret about the whole turning three humans into vampires thing.

Also, with the idea that they now how to eventually turn three humans into vampires or else they’ll die is kinda unsettling to the Vam Fam. They’re trying to decide when to do it, and they all have different opinions. Jessica and Mike are honestly ready right now, but Bella wants to wait till after high school since she worries about Charlie, Rosalie and Edward wants to do it never and would honestly rather try and bring down the Volturi, Emmett will be down for honestly anything whether it be doing it now later or fighting the Voltari, Esme, Carlisle, and Alice actually agree with Bella and think waiting till they move town again would be the smartest plus Alice looks into the future and thinks that it’ll be the best possible outcome, Jacob is just upset that they’ll all be leaving him although he is reassured that he is welcome to come with although he’s not sure how that’ll pan out with the pack, and Jasper just says he’ll take care of things when they turn since he knows newborns best and just watches everyone fight over the timing since he lives for the drama. And this will also be the season of Vam Fam backstories, so throughout we will get flashbacks of what each of the Vam Fam went through. Their backstories will basically be the same, except I’m gonna tweak Jasper’s and make him a slave that was forced into fighting for the confederate side.

Also, per their promise, the Volturi will occasionally pop in just to check up on them, which will cause the wolves to mad about that. ALSO, listen, what if Aro and Marcus became low key friends with Charlie? LISTEN they keep coming around to Forks, and eventually Charlie will approach them because he hears that they’ve been talking to his daughter and he asks what’s up. Aro and Marcus will bring him to a bar or something and lie about it, but as they get to talking they somehow start bonding, and Aro and Marcus are like ‘what’s happening? what spell is this human casting upon us?’ but it’s just Charlie being the best as usual and them starting to like him. So now they’re friends that often have conversations as the season goes on, and when Billy catches wind of this he is super unhappy, wondering how Charlie can be so chill yet so prone to getting into dangerous situations, kind of like his daughter.

And since last season the polyamorous relationship that got more time was Jasper, Alice, and Jacob, so now we’ll shift more towards Rosalie, Emmett, and Jessica. Rosalie is obviously super unhappy about having to turn Jessica into a vampire, since although she loves Jessica she didn’t want her to end up like her and was content with having to leave her in order for Jessica to leave a normal life. So now throughout the season Emmett and Jessica take it upon themselves and the single brain cell they share among the two of them to reassure Rosalie in the best way they can; also, it really establishes how Rosalie is the brains of this trio, with Emmett being the himbo and Jessica being the stubborn dumbass.

So then news about the vampire trio building an army and such travels to Forks and Jessica is actually the first to hear of it. Also, the objective of this vampire army is more world domination than just tracking down Bella and Mike, although that’s definitely part of it. Since the Volturi is already after them, why not strive for world domination? We’ll also keep having scenes of the vampire army shenanigans, particularly with the vampire trio and Bree. Also, Alec and Jane were in charge of the tracking down the vampire trio thing, and they discovered the army, and they were gonna put a stop to it, but then they met Bree. They probably met while Alec and Jane were debating how to take down the army and the vampire trio and such, when some random drunk guy showed up and was being a creep towards them, so they were gonna finna destroy him when Bree popped up and threw a rock at him, took the two and ran. They get to talking and shenanigans' and they actually grow attached to her, but Bree is a very weak vampire, which is odd for a newborn, so they know the Volturi won’t accept her and that would mean they would have to kill her. So they keep delaying the killing of the vampire trio and the army to hang out with Bree some more, tortured by the idea that they’ll have to kill her eventually. Also, I’m gonna make Bree their age, or make them Bree’s age, whichever works.

So anyway, with the threat of the vampire army, the vampires and the wolves are forced to work together. Aro and Marcus know that Jane and Alec are supposed to take care of it, but they’re kinda amused so they’ll see how it all pans out. And of course chaos ensues and nobody can get along, which bugs Bella the most because she has this thing about making everyone around her happy at the cost of herself, so she comes up with idea of doing a group bonding exercise, like they all go to an amusement park or something, which she in fact hates but does for the sake of bonding.

So back to the Leah situation, she needs to go through a whole arc, and Seth does too. Leah probably low key thinks Seth blames her for the death of their father, but the thought never crossed his mind. And since she’s avoiding Seth because of this, Seth thinks that Leah doesn’t want him around. So they need to clear up that understanding, probably with the help of Emily. While Jared makes sure Sam doesn’t slaughter all the vampires and potentially Jacob, Emily tries and mends things within the pack.

At some point, Leah and Mike get kidnapped by the a few members of the vampire army. What had happened was Leah and Mike were hanging out, as everyone was taking shifts trying to get Leah and Seth to transform again, and Seth had run off at this point, and Mike was surprisingly making some serious progress, when a few members of the vampire army, including Bree, saw them and was like ‘oh wait, isn’t that Mike? from the pictures James showed us? and that girl has black hair, is that Bella bro?’ so they kidnap them.

So Leah is super not Bella and the vampire trio get angry and punish them, well, Laurent kinda just watches. So Bree will meet up with Alec and Jane kinda messed up from the punishment, also, Bree still has no idea who Alec and Jane are or even what the Volturi is. But anyway, when Alec and Jane find out about this they are very unhappy, and hatch a plan with Leah to go get the Vam Fam and the werewolves and come fight the army now, now that they have a location of them. Jane and Alec are doing this rather than taking them down themselves because if the rag tag team of vampires and werewolves were the ones fighting and not them then it would seem more reasonable if one of them were to escape the battle and disappear, that being Bree.

Mike isn’t there when this plan is hatched because he’s taking with James, who wants to turn Mike into a vampire now, but his other two friends keep telling him that Mike will just turn on them and they need to convince him to join their side while he’s still a human. So him and James hang out and although Mike is cussing them all out, him and James actually have fun causing destruction, and he also causes the biggest case of arson he has done yet, which gives him a rush. Also, Leah is trying to turn into a werewolf now, given the dire circumstances, but she can’t and she doesn’t know why.

So Jane and Alec tell the crew about the kidnapping and the location, so they all head out. Jessica and Bella try to convince the Vam Fam to just turn them into vampires now so they can help out, but they say that they’ll just be unconscious for a few days so it wouldn’t help, but Jessica and Bella say that they can be like a back up plan if they fail, so when they wake up they can avenge them or something. And this is the first time the werewolves aside from Jacob heard about the plans to turn three humans into vampires, so discord ensues but they don’t have enough time so they just go to the vampire army with Bella and Jessica tagging along, thanks to Alice who said they would in fact be useful.

So they get to the army and the battle ensues. Seth is now in werewolf form, wanting to protect his sister, and when Leah sees Seth in a tight spot, she manages to turn into a werewolf again and protect him. Mike is actually very attracted to the idea of destroying the world, but when he sees his friends, he doesn’t want them destroyed so he doesn’t go to the side of the vampire trio. After a lot of epic fighting and some unexpected teamwork, the vampire army is destroyed, and within that chaos Alec and Jane took Bree and high tailed it out of there, explaining the whole situation to Bree. She’s kinda upset that they were planning to kill her, but then Aro and Marcus appear before the situation with that could get too out of hand. Marcus senses the strong relationship the three have, and tells Aro that they will indeed lose Alec and Jane if they kill Bree, and they kinda need them so Aro plays if off like ‘why didn’t you tell me you guys wanted a new friend? sure she can join the Volturi’ and although they are confused they’re just happy Bree’s gonna live, and now they can be together.

So the vampire trio retreat, still alive somehow, and the vampire army is gone, and they got Leah and Mike back, plus Leah and Seth transform now, so all’s well that ends well. Also maybe Brady and Leah get together, which would have been set up throughout the season. Why? I dunno, because I want Leah to be happy, and also with the personality I gave Brady it would be a fun dynamic I think. Brady is all shy while Leah has a much more forceful personality, but Brady is always ready to cut a bitch while Leah isn’t all that down with hurting people most of the time. They’d probably imprint on each other.

So back with the whole Emmett and Jessica trying to convince Rosalie not to worry too much about Jessica turning into a vampire, Rosalie had known what they were doing since the beginning, and to her surprise it actually slightly worked? Not really but Rosalie chooses not to focus on the fact that Jessica will be turned into a vampire, but instead that they’ll always be together, and it’s sweet moment for the three of them. And so the Vam Fam decide to do the vampire turning thing after high school, and Edward asks if they can do it after his and Bella’s honeymoon, since he and Bella had an arrangement. Now, the audience knew about this since Bella throughout the season had been asking if Edward wanted to sleep together since she wanted to do that as a human, but he’s very adamant about the whole wait until marriage thing, so he proposed at probably the worst time, and she accepted.

But the Vam Fam didn’t know about this, so now their all dealing with that, and agree let Bella wait until after and Jessica and Mike will turn first. So some days go by and they’re planning the wedding, and then what a surprise; Renee shows up, having heard about the wedding from Charlie.

SEASON 4 (AKA Book 4, Breaking Dawn)

Wedding time, yay. Also, Renee is creating a super uncomfortable atmosphere, what with the whole Bella feeling neglected from her, and also she brought along Phil, her new husband. Everyone’s acting pretty protective over Bella, eyeing Renee up. Particularly Edward; whenever he sees Renee he just glares at her full on while holding onto Bella, and whenever Renee tries to talk to him he throws so much poetic shade Renee doesn’t even know what this man is talking about.

Bella’s kinda tense about Renee being here, and tries to get along with her, but after getting all that parental love from Charlie, she forgets that’s not how Renee operates, leading to some tense moments between her and Renee. But the wedding planning continues and Alice is stressed because these chaotic idiots are ruining her perfect planning skills. But the wedding goes on and it actually goes off without a hitch. Well, except for Mike causing a teeny tiny fire to only ONE of the bouquets, and Bella did end up tripping going down the aisle while bringing Charlie down with her so Edward went over to her and they both had to go to their places together, and Emmett and Jacob did do that drinking contest but Emmett left out the part where he couldn’t get drunk and Jacob got absolutely wasted so Jasper was in charge of taking care of him, Jessica was trying to get info on the other vampire guests which was annoying them while Rosalie stood menacingly behind her to make sure they didn’t try and anything, and one of those other vampire guests did end up sort of trying to attack Billy, but other than that it went great.

But before the wedding came to a close Bella realized that she’ll probably never see Renee or Charlie again, so she pays a lot of attention to Charlie, but near the end she asks Renee and Charlie to take a picture with her, one that she could keep for after. She and Renee got on better terms, and Renee admits that she could have been a better mother. So Bella and Edward go on their honeymoon where they have tons of sex and we get lots of scenes of that, but back in Forks, disaster ensues.

So Mike and Jessica are getting ready for the whole going to be a vampire thing, and the Vam Fam makes arrangements to move. Mike and Jessica leaving won’t look weird, since they just graduated high school and it’s not like they have anyone particularly close here, well, except with Mike’s mom. So he goes to say his goodbyes to her, and it’s very sad because Mike knows they’ll never see each other again but his mom doesn’t. And then there’s the whole situation with Jacob going with them, which his pack and dad aren’t happy about. So he’s trying to convince them, when suddenly him imprints on Alice and Jasper. Now it’s official; he needs to go with them, and it’s actually a kind of sad goodbye to his dad and the werewolves that were actually his friends. So now the Vam Fam has included Jacob in it, now it was Jessica and Mike’s turn.

So the Vam Fam and Jessica and Mike go to the new house and they turn Jessica and Mike into vampires, with Rosalie being the one to do it for Jessica and Carlisle doing it for Mike. Then, the vampire trio show up to ruin things, and there’s a big fight, and James and Mike have their own separate fight going on. Throughout this entire series, it would be shown the parallels between Mike and James, how naturally violent they both are, how it seems to be a match made in hell for these two. But now it seems like their violent ways had caught up so them, as they fight with everything they got and enjoying the hell out of it, and so Mike and James die together, having killed the other one. Mike’s final words will probably be something like ‘damn, I just got these cool ass powers; I was gonna do so much’ and James laughs and is like ‘hell yeah, you missed out’ and after they say that they die, hand in hand.

The vampire trio, now the vampire duo, is devastated at this news, James was like family to them. So they run off but swear revenge, even Laurent pissed off now. They all mourn the death of Mike, and Alice was taking it especially hard because she had relaxed on the future seeing and didn’t see this coming. Then she saw the thing with Bella being pregnant and went to go call her to tell her that she was pregnant and Mike was dead.

Bella had already suspected the pregnant party, but the Mike being dead took her so off guard she actually fainted, although Edward caught her. They go to the house where the wolf pack was already there at the request of Jacob, to help fight when the vampire duo attack. Although, they are not happy with the pregnancy. It’s very emotional for a while, what with Mike dying, Jessica dealing with being a newborn, and Bella on the verge of dying with this baby she refuses to give up.

So she gives birth and dies but comes back a vampire, and now Renesmee is out in the world, which the Volturi doesn’t like. We go back to the Volturi and get some scenes with them, also with Aro and Marcus consoling Charlie about his ‘dead daughter’ who they actually feel genuinely bad for. Also we get scenes with Bree, Alec and Jane, who are just having a grand time, although some of the other vampires pick on Bree for being so weak, Alec and Jane roll up and they’re on their knees in front of Bree begging for forgiveness, which she gives much to Alec and Jane’s pouting. In any case, the Volturi know about Renesmee, and they need to go kill her.

So Bella’s discovering her mind blocking powers, and Edward is losing his mind about how he finally knows why he can’t read her mind, and Jessica learns she doesn’t really have any powers other than an average vampire. Life goes on and such, and Bella and Edward are getting really attached to Renesmee, loving the hell out of her and doing their best to figure out how to be parents, and this is when the coupling of Jacob with Alice and Jasper and Jessica with Emmett and Rosalie is now official, so they get couple moments. But then the Volturi rolls in. Alice does her thing and shows what will happen if this battle happens so they roll back out, but then Victoria swoops in and straight up kills Renesmee, then Bella kills her. Laurent is there, but after Victoria dies he realizes that all his friends, his family, are dead, and so he just closes his eyes and allows himself to be killed.

So after Renesmee is dead, Edward and Bella are really going through it, and then Bella just reminds Edward of his days of killing murders and pedos and such, and she kinda hints that she’d be totally down for some of that. And so now it’s murder road trip time of killing murders and pedos, and the Vam Fam isn’t upset about the killing really, their just worried that this might not be the healthiest way to handle the loss of their child. But they do and we get to see a bunch of their killing fun times, and there’s actually going to be a time jump of maybe like 30 years or so, when the Vam Fam is in a different town doing stuff, and then Edward and Bella show up and they’re all reunited. Edward and Bella settle down from the killing joy ride, although they hint that they wouldn’t be adverse to doing it again if they get into the mood. So now that’s their cute couple thing; killing murderers and pedos.

Why do you think bella and edward are bad parents? I feel like they're amazing?

Amazing...?? Oh boy, this is going to be a long one. Now I'm not going to list every example just some main ones. All of the pages/chapters I listed are in Breaking Dawn.

Bella:

The only she reason she went through with the pregnancy was because she thought it was a boy and wanted a mini Edward.(p.132)

When Bella wakes up as a Vampire she spends a few hours with Renesmee then goes off with Edward to their cabin to have sex. One could argue that Bella was a newborn vampire and that she couldn't be near Renesmee for to long , but nope Bella had super self control and Renesmee scent and heart beat didn't bother her so theirs no excuse there.(chapter.24)

Edward has to tell Bella that they have to stop so they can take can of Renesmee and Bella's response was along the lines of "Can we do it later?"(pg. 486 & 487)

She uses Renesmee as a prop to hold every time she gets mad so she doesn't kill someone. Yes that could be a good thing if it wasn't the only times Bella wanted to hold her.(pg.493, 620,and a few others.)

She forgets that shes holding Rensemee because shes thinking about having sex with Edward.(pg.504)

Edward:

When Renesmee sees Bella skin sparkle in the she feels insecure because her skin doesn't due to her being half human. Bella(trying to be a good mother) tells her that she's the pretties. Edward then rebuttals by saying " I cant agree with that" Bella turns around to say something but get dazzled by his beauty in the sunlight. Now you could say that Edward was talking about him self here, but after reading some of Midnight Sun I have no doubt that he meant Bella. He also says in the next line what an amazing creature Bella is as a compliment when Jacob calls Bella freaky.(pg.523)

They don't really interact. Like Bella is known to be an unreliable narrator but every time Renesmee is with Edward she's sleeping.You could say that its because Bella is constantly dropping Renesmee off at Charlies house or with Rose and Emmett so she can prepare for the fight, but Midnight sun shows us that if Edward really cares for something he'll stand his ground. For example Chapter 4 hes prepared to fight/kill his own family if they try to kill Bella and at that point in the time line hes only has 1 interaction with her. You also see this in Eclipse with his toxic behavior (breaking Bella's truck,having Alice babysit her, etc.). So if he wanted to spend time with her he would.

Now I don't necessarily think they're horrible parents, but they're by far not the greatest. Better than Renee though.(had to take a dig at Renee shes terrible)

And now for something completely different.

I was making these as part of brainstorming with a friend, but came up with too many and thought Twilight tumblr might be interested. So, without further ado, and not very well organized:

Volturi:

A Volturi accidentally breaking the law, the more embarrassing the better

Aro sometimes thinks about telling Marcus the truth about Didyme. He never will

Aro watches all the world, but Renata is always there, watching him: Aro through the centuries, through her eyes

Aro, Didyme, and Carlisle, during Breaking Dawn: the art of killing what you love

Cullens:

Carlisle offers immortality to a dying patient

Rats have always been a public health concern. Carlisle, doctor and former 17th century Londoner, is painfully aware of this. What I’m saying is he probably eats rats. The prompt: character(s) of choice is grossed out by this. (Bonus for Carlisle somehow talking them into trying it)

Carlisle can no longer recall what his human face looked like

Jasper lost control again, and he can feel that no one is surprised

Mary Alice Brandon sees what she will become, and knows the person she is now will disappear. She is only the cocoon to a butterfly. (Alternatively: the only thing Alice knows about the human she was, is that Mary Alice knew this.)

Renesmée contemplates her parents, and the fact that they would choose each other before her. The only one she is first priority to is someone who doesn’t have a choice, and who loved her mother when he did have a choice

A weird one, but for those who are into art: “The Sick Child” by Edvard Munch is one I think would remind Esme of her son

Bella and Bella-related:

Edward/Bella: Edward muses on how ephemeral Bella’s existence truly is, that he can almost see her aging before his eyes. He will do anything to keep her this way.

Edward/Bella, Jake/Bella: A conversation between Jake and Edward on their mutual love of Bella, her impending death, and the choices neither of them wish she'd make

Edward/Bella: Edward considers how easily he could have missed Bella

Alice/Bella: Alice knows Bella is fated to Edward, every future shows this. Alice loves them both and is happy for them. All the same, she catches herself looking for a future where things could go a little differently

The wolfpack (and Billy):

Sam and Leah: Sam breaking up with Leah to date her cousin

Sam, Jake, and Embry: the aftermath of Embry phasing, and what this means re: his father

Billy and Charlie: in the months before Bella’s graduation, knowing what’s going to happen, and the fact that he can’t tell Charlie

Billy finding out Jacob imprinted on the Cullen demon baby

Leah and Emily: their first conversation after Leah phased and learned the truth of why Sam left and of what happened to Emily’s face

Bella mentioned the Cullens play superpower-baseball. Not about to be outdone, the pack decide to come up with something cooler. (Optional: unfortunately, Sam is into curling.)

Misc:

Charlie and Renesmee: Charlie tries to connect to his alien granddaughter who he has to call his niece

Charlie, after finding out the Cullens aren’t human. He looks at Carlisle differently now

Charlie thinks about the creature his daughter has become, and wonders if he could have prevented this

Renée, Post-BD. Renée tries to get in touch with her daughter.

Maria, after visiting Jasper and his vegan coven. She doesn’t think this is going to last.

A list of possible ways to make Twilight better that don’t involve changing the whole plot, writing about an entirely different character in the universe, or getting rid of any of the main characters:

- Bella is actually kind and respectful to Charlie not just behind his back when she’s protecting him from threats he’s unaware of like vampires but also to his face when he’s clearly trying to do his best to be a good dad.

- We get to hear a phone call between Charlie and Renee about how ill adjusted Bella is after years of being her own parent.

- Bella names her truck “Monster Mash” after the collision with Tyler and Edward being a vampire.

- Jessica totally sees Edward jump over the back of Bella’s truck, as he does so at human speed and is blatantly obvious about it. She thinks it’s weird. She’s constantly aware of Edwards presence and she knows for a fact he wasn’t there. Jessica starts picking up on some of the little inconsistencies in the Cullens behaviors and the lies Bella’s telling. She sees Bella post transformation while she’s still around town during the “prepping to encounter the Volturi” days. Now she knoooows something’s up. Bella wasn’t this graceful or pale or perfect before. She looks like a damn Cullen. Jessica begins to put the pieces together exactly like Bella did. Jessica tries to talk to someone about it but everyone brushes her off. She slowly descends into what she thinks is madness believing vampires are real but having no confirmation and no one to believe her.

- Jane very visibly pouts when Bella doesn’t collapse screaming. Alice starts laughing because of a vision of Jane having a temper tantrum later.

- Leah imprints on Angela. Bella now has a normal human friend with a normal human friendship and she’s a bit more grounded and a bit less supernatural obsessed. Also, with this, imprints are clearly no longer about procreating and are more than just baby making machines.

- Rosalie goes and after those guys from Port Angeles. She doesn’t eat them; she has impeccable control, after all. She dumps them in a bear’s cave or something and lets an animal take care of them.

- The Cullens play baseball incessantly instead of other sports because back in the day Carlisle helped invent it.

- An incredibly awkward conversation between Charlie and Billy where Charlie is hesitant because he’s not 100% sure Billy knows his son turns into a wolf, but once he is sure Billy knows, he’s very confused how the hell, genetically, Jacob turns into a wolf and has to question what Billy’s been up to that his son is half animal and Billy has to give him the legends now too.

- James was actually the ex-Volturi tracker that was replaced by Demetri’s superior skills.

- Alice’s sister also had gifts as a human though hers were geared towards the past, and the reason Alice can’t remember anything is because her sister made her forget her past.

- In general, I think we need more members of the Volturi as a whole (there’s really not that many of them when you think they’re basically ruling the world) and more superpowers, because as it stands there’s actually only two of the Volturi with offensive gifts related to fighting, Alec and Jane, and that really confuses the intimidating reputation the guard have. There should absolutely be more of them with more powers if they’re meant to be as intimidating as they are and in charge of every vampire everywhere.

- Edward’s little power trip in New Moon actually has lasting repercussions on his relationships with his family. He doesn’t just come back and magically all is forgiven. His actions actually have consequences.

- Other vampires get called in to help in the fight in Eclipse This way, we get to expand the universe more, earlier in the books; we get to learn about another set of vampires in more detail and not just as part of one massive cluster; and Breaking Dawn isn’t just a barrage of new faces. We actually know some of them. For instance, Jasper could call in Peter and Charlotte at the least; they’ve both already fought newborn armies before and calling them actually makes more sense than the Denali coven.

- Esme is actually an extremely famous architect who works under an alias so that as time passes people won’t get suspicious when she has the same name as that famous, old architect from back in the day.

- The Volturi wife that dies isn’t Didyme; it’s Athenadora, and she’s killed by the werewolves that attacked Caius, which is why Caius has eradicated them and why he’s so willing to fight the Cullens over the presence of wolves.

- The guard of the Volturi aren’t all just being held together by Chelsea. Some of them actually believe in their professed purpose of ensuring the secrecy of vampires to protect their kind.

- Benjamin and Tia don’t go back with Amun and Kebi after Amun peace’s out like a coward.

- Literally anyone acknowledges that the Volturi aren’t really the bad guys in New Moon since Edward is the one breaking the law, and that Bella being human in Eclipse is the Cullens still subverting the law, and that as a result the Volturi have pretty good cause to believe the Cullens are breaking the law again in Breaking Dawn.

Finally Here

Jasper x Reader

A/N. Full disclosure this is my first time writing for anything twilight but I was happy do it because it was Jasper. Commission for @kilyra ! ALSO, Alice x Jasper doesn’t exist here.

Summary: A vampire intends on havin you as their dinner, Jasper intervenes.

Forks – it was beautiful and had been the perfect place to grow up, but it had been nearly five years since you lived in your hometown. Besides holiday vacations, life after college had kept you away from Forks and your family but a recent job change to Seattle had brought you closer to home. It has been about a week since you settled into your parents’ home and you were finally going out with a few old high school friends who were still around. After changing into some comfortable jeans and tee, you grabbed a black coat and said goodbye to your parents, feeling like a teenager again, as you ran out just as your ride pulled up.

The bar was new, replaced the old one you had passed by so many times as a kid; never getting a glimpse into it but knowing adults liked to go there for a good time. It was odd at first, walking in and knowing you were now an adult but that was nothing a few rounds of beer could fix – and a few shots of tequila; three hours later, you were having a good time catching up with old friends and relieving the stress of moving and starting a new job.

“So, when’s the apartment ready?”

“It won’t be available for another two weeks,” you explained to Mary, your high school best friend. “Which is fine, since my new job does not start until next month.”

“Good, that means more time together,” she grinned, eyes dodging to the front door. “We can find you a man here, a cool one.”

You laughed and said no. “I do not want to go man hunting; I need to focus on my work.”

“Unless that man is Jasper, huh?”

Mary’s words had the heat rise from your toes and you chucked a crumpled napkin at her – it had been almost seven years since Jasper and you had been partnered up for a history class in your junior year. He had been quiet most of the semester but that did not mean you had not noticed how attractive he was. Of course, all the girls loved the Cullen brothers, but they mostly swooned over Edward. Jasper, he was much more reserved, which said a lot because most of the Cullen clan was reserved.

Jasper had been soft spoken but informative about the American Civil War, the part of history the pair of you were assigned to. Since he was pretty much a walking Encyclopedia on all thing’s history, you took the role of presenter although he did chime in once or twice to help you out. Overall, the two of you did well and received top marks, and after that, you would gain a small smile from Jasper in the hallways.

“Okay, okay,” you laughed, pushing away the beer in front of you. “I thought that was forgotten history!”

Mary shrugged and mentioned that he still lived in town. “The whole family still lives here; I see Bella so often – can’t believe Edward and her actual worked out.”

The mention of your old classmate and friend brings a smile to your face, remembering the couple’s small wedding and how surprised you were to be invited. You also remembered the glances Jasper and you shared at the party throughout the night and feeling slightly disappointed when nothing came of it but moving on as life did.

“I’m glad to hear, maybe I’ll give her a call before I head to Seattle. I’m going to have a quick smoke, want to come?”

Mary declined in favor of talking up a guy at the bar, so you left her to do her thing while you placed on your coat and grabbed your cross bag, going out the back entrance of the bar. It was chilly but you lit up a cigarette and leaned against the back wall. It was nice being back home, but it was incredibly different from the California weather you had grown accustomed to.

“You cold, sweetheart?”

A chill went down your spine as you glanced to the left of you, where a man stood hands tucked into his jean jacket. He was attractive but something in his smile made you feel uneasy; listening to your gut instinct, you flicked the cigarette to the ground and started toward the back door but you barely touched the handle when you felt the weight of the man on you.

“Don’t bother screaming, sweetheart, I will rip your throat out before you have the chance,” he whispered into your ear, fingers gripping at your shoulders. Your body still in shock as he pulled you away from the door and turned you around to face him. A stifled scream began to form in your throat as his eyes went from blue to black, but he had grabbed you by the neck and started dragging you towards alley way that led to the edge of the woods.

His grip on you did not flinch as you attempted to hit him with both fists, but it did nothing to do as he tossed you forward. You hit the ground and scramble to your feet, running into the woods as this sinking feeling hit you – running away from the bar and into the dark woods was an awful choice but you ran, nonetheless.

It felt like you were running to your death as your feet pounded into the dirt ground, trying to pull out your cell at the same time until you dashed behind a tree hoping to dial 911. Your fingers shook as the screen lit and you dialed the number nine but that was all you could get to before the cell was knocked out of your hand.

It was the man, the monster, and he smiled as he pushed you up against the tree; his hand touched the side of your face. “Feel free to scream all you want now, honey, no one will hear you.”

“Fuck you,” you grunted, staring into his eyes trying to show that you weren’t scared.

“I like a fighter,” he growled, showing off his sharp teeth. Your head turned away from the sight and a slight whimper echoed out of your mouth as tears ran down your face; never in your life have you felt fear like this, but you did not want it to end like this. Turning back to him, you started to fight against him, getting a slap in that seemed to entice him even more. He grinned as he seemingly twisted your arm, breaking it as you screamed in pain.

“Leave her alone.”

A deep rustic voice came from out of the shadows and before your eyes could adjust from the tears, the man was off you and a familiar face was in front of you; a face you could never forget, especially those eyes, those deep gold eyes.

“Jasper?”

“You’re going to be okay,” he said with a slight smirk before turning his attention to your attacker. “I would try to run if I were you, my brother and his wife are waiting for you at the town border, and the rest of my family are hunting down the rest of your group – that is, if the wolves haven’t gotten to them first.”

The man growled but turned and disappeared within seconds, leaving you feeling dizzy and afraid. Tears welled up in your eyes and you started to cry, body shaking as Jasper touched your broken arm.

“It’s not, it’s really not,” you cried, pushing his hand away. Your chest felt heavy as you tried to control your emotions, but everything was crashing down on you like a train. “What was that? Who was he?”

Jasper remained quiet for a moment and you could sense the unsureness in his face until he sighed and looked at you. “He was a vampire.”

“Fuck you.”

He chuckled at your brazen answer and suddenly your fear seemed to vanish under his glance, and you felt like that teenager again in history class – except now the two of you were adults and vampires existed in Forks.

Wolves too.

“We need to call the police, tell Charlie!”

Jasper cleared his throat and said that he knew. “He knows about us.”

Us; the word came out quiet, but you heard it and it made the pain from your arm fade into the background as it became apparent that the person you had a crush on had been a vampire this entire time – and then, it all made sense.

“We need to get your arm checked out; Carlisle will help you.”

You didn’t say anything, still stun but you nodded and mumbled a thank you when Jasper picked up your cell phone from the ground. He wiped it clean and handed it over, taking his jacket off.

“I should set it until we get to the hospital.” He stepped closer to you and noticed the way your body stiffened as he tied the jacket as a sling around your shoulder. You winced as your arm settled against your chest but then Jasper’s fingers accidentally brushed the back of your neck as he adjusted it, and it felt soothing.

“Thank you,” you whispered, fully aware of how close he was. His eyes stared into yours and he nodded, but you could not look away; there was something there and it was like the two of you were back at the wedding. His eyes always found you that night, prompting you to smile and look away shyly, and now it was no different.

Except, he apparently was a vampire.

“Let’s get you to the house.”

“I need to call my friend; we were at the bar together.”

Jasper glanced around the ground, finding your cell. He dusted it off and handed it over. “Call your friend, I’ll call Carlisle.”

You watched him for a moment under the moonlight as he turned his back to you; Jasper was a vampire and it didn’t go over your head when he said his brother and his wife were waiting for your attacker at the town border – did that mean Bella was one too?

Is that why Charlie knew about the vampires and wolves?

Were all the Cullen’s vampires too?

You called Mary, she was frantic for a moment, wondering where you had gone. Telling her to calm down, you explained that you gotten an emergency call and had to leave. You apologized for leaving her hanging but she said it was fine and promised that she would take a cab home if necessary. The two of you hung up and you looked to Jasper.

“I came here on foot, I’m fast. I can get you to the house, but you have to trust me.”

Heart pounding, you knew you could – you could trust him because you felt it. Felt a strange pulling to the man in front of you and something occurred to you.

“You knew so much about the Civil War because you lived through it, didn’t you?”

Jasper smirked knowingly and sighed. “Yes, I must confess my firsthand experience got us that A.”

“Cheater,” you scolded playfully, lifting the tension out of the air.

He laughed and shrugged, moving to you. “We passed, didn’t we?”

“We did. I guess you being a vampire explains a lot, it must be hard.”

Jasper’s face fell. “What do you mean?”

Tucking your cell back into your pocket, you looked up at him. “I work in psychology; you might be a vampire, but I can tell you still have some human in you. So that means you have feelings and like the rest of you, have things that haunt us in our sleep.”

His chest heaved a bit as he felt the genuine concern flowing from your body towards his, he could feel your sincerity and he was mentally kicking himself for letting you go that night at the wedding; when he couldn’t help but look for you throughout the night. He had talked himself out of approaching you that night because you were human and was afraid of what that meant. Yes, it worked out for Edward and Bella but he always thought his heart would go to another vampire – someone he could spend forever with, not a human who would perish one day, like all the people he encountered in his long life. But now it seemed, life was giving him a second chance at something with someone he felt this unbelievable connection with, and he knew there was no way he was letting you walk away this time.

“You’re incredibly right.”

You smiled with amusement until you accidentally moved your arm. “Shit.”

Jasper frowned. “I need to get you to Carlisle; the fastest way is for me to carry you there.”

Laughing, you noted that you weren’t as limber as you had been in high school and Jasper grinned. “You look great.”

Hiding your grin, you asked how long it would take to get to the house. Jasper said not long at all, holding out both hands. “Are you ready?’

Feeling a little uncertain, you stepped up to him and cursed loudly when he scooped you up in his arms. He smiled down at you as a strand of hair fell over his eyes, thinking nothing of it, you reached up with your good hand and brushed it back behind his ears. Your heart raced as your hand lingered on his cheek, especially when he didn’t move away, instead his head moved down to yours and before you could commute was happening, he kissed you.

It was sweet, soft and short but it had your head spinning as he pulled away. Your eyes fluttered open and you should have been thinking about the fact that you were kissing a vampire, but all you saw was Jasper – soft spoken and kind Jasper

“Ready?” he asked.

“Yes.”

Except, you weren’t.

The speed he was going was unfathomable, the wind ran through your hair as you pressed your head into his shoulders, eyes closed for the entire three minutes it took Jasper to get to the house which was lit up like a lantern. Jasper stopped suddenly and you yelped, gaining a lighthearted laugh from him. Slowly, he placed you down on your feet and asked if you were okay, moving your hair off your shoulders.

“I feel like I might throw up.”

“I suppose it’s a good thing we kissed before.”

His teasing was delightful and you smiled just as the front door opened; it was Carlisle and Esme, looking like the perfect couple – and that’s when you remember they too are vampires but you weren’t scared not when Jasper gently reached for your good hand. He squeezed it lightly and said it was okay, that you would be fine.

“I know,” you said to him, letting him guide you up the stairs to the front door. Carlisle and Esme rushed you in, the latter taking your hand from Jasper as she moved you to the living room. You could overhear from the foyer the two men discussing your attacker – Bella and Edward had caught him

“The others will deal with his friends,” Esme assured you, her smile was warm and dainty. “Just like humans, there are good and bad vampires.”

“And you guys are the good ones,” you pointed out, taking a seat on the couch.

Esme smiled and you relaxed just as Alice walked in, her eyes wide with delight. The two of you never had any classes together but you knew her by reputation – she was a very nice person. Skipping over to you, taking a seat next to you. She grinned and touched your shoulder lightly, explaining that she was so happy you were finally here.

“Finally?”

Alice looked over to Esme before smiling at you. “Yes, Jasper didn’t know about you, but I did. You are the one to get him out of his little sad rut; the two of you are going to be so happy together and we become the best of friends! I saw you coming years ago but I guess you weren’t ready until now. He was terribly upset when you left town for school, but things worked out!”

Not understanding what she was saying, you glanced up at Esme, who explained that Alice could see the future.

“Something like that,” Alice concluded, giving you a wink as she jumped off the couch. She looped an arm around Esme’s waist and lead the woman out, leaving you alone for a moment to take in what she had said.

Alice was a vampire who could see the future and she saw Jasper and you together, and happy. There were so many questions to be asked and you wanted answers but more importantly, you wanted to see Jasper.

“Are you okay?”

You looked over to the archway of the living room and saw Jasper, looking a bit stiff – it seemed Alice had spilled the information to him as well.

“So, Alice told you as well?”

You nodded and Jasper sighed, stepping closer into the room. Scooting over, you watched as he made his way to you. He hesitated for a moment before sitting down but relaxed once said his name and he looked at you.

“It’s going to be great, okay?”

Jasper’s golden eyes softened as you smiled, reaching down for his hand. Squeezing it, you gently laid your head on his shoulder and knew that everything would be fine – yes, there was going to be some adjusting to the fact that vampires existed but there was no denying a future seen. And even if you could, you didn’t want to because you wanted Jasper.

“Everything will fall into place,” you promised him, and he believed it, could feel it.

“It will, “he said, getting up from the couch. He held out a hand to you and grinned “But let’s get that arm taken care of before Alice starts planning a wedding.”

Amused that Jasper made a joke, you took his hand and got up. He stood tall and you leaned forward to kiss him gently on the lips, eyes closed. The world was swirling around the two of you and it felt like a beginning of something amazing, and you were sure it was going to be a wild ride – but one you were more than willing to take with the man in front of you.

“I would love a summer wedding.”

Jasper laughed and took your head, leading out the door. “I can’t stand in the sun.”

“Wait do you melt like that wicked witch?”

“No,” he chuckled. “That was water, but I do…sparkle.”

Leaving the living room, you yelped in delight as he smiled with utter amusement because he felt something he hadn’t in a long time; unfiltered happiness.

“Holy – you SPARKLE!”

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn–Part 2

SPOILERS AHEAD

Bella has just awoken from her human-to-vampire transformation and is introduced to her daughter Renesmee. The Cullens and Jacob stay nearby, and Jacob seemingly acts possessive towards Renesmee, and Bella learns that he imprinted on her. Meanwhile, Bella’s father Charlie has been trying to contact the Cullens for updates on Bella and her health. Carlisle soon comes to believe that they need to leave Forks to protect their identities, and Jacob, desperate not to lose Renesmee, visits Charlie to inform him about Bella. He tells him that Bella is alive and well, but had to change in order to get better. He also tells Charlie that he doesn't live in the world he thinks he lives in, revealing his wolf form to Charlie. Charlie then visits the Cullen house and meets Renesmee, and Bella and the Cullen family are able to stay in Forks.

Carlisle is monitoring Renesmee’s rapid growth over the course of a few months. When they go to the woods for an outing, Irina sees Renesmee from a distance and assumes that she is an immortal child without asking any questions. Immortal children are vampires changed in childhood who often destroyed villages and towns because they could not be restrained or controlled. Immortal children were executed and outlawed, as well as the parents who created them. A bitter Irina goes to the Volturi to report what she has seen, and Alice has a vision of the Volturi and Irina coming to kill the Cullens and instructs them to find as many witnesses to vouch that Renesmee is not an immortal child. Alice and Jasper leave to try and find their own witnesses, while the others begin to summon various people to vouch for the Cullens that they do not have an immortal child.

Some of these witnesses include the Denali family. Eleazar, a member of the Denali family, discovers that Bella has a special ability that protects her from Edward’s mind-reading. Even when she was human, she had a powerful mental shield protecting her from many vampire gifts, which translated into her being able to protect others from vampire powers now that she is immortal.

Some of Cullen's potential witnesses are attacked, and Carlisle and Edward realize that they may have to fight Volturi. Their remaining witnesses agree to stand with them against Volturi. The Volturi soon arrive prepared for battle led by Aro, who is eager to obtain the vampiric gifts the Cullens have as part of his guard. Before any violence begins, Alice and Jasper approach Aro, and Alice shares her vision with him of battle, which would result in heavy casualties on both sides, including Aro’s and Carlilse’s death. Aro believes her vision, giving them both a chance to reveal their witness, Nahuel, who is half-human and half-vampire, just like Renesmee. Nahuel proves that he is not a threat, ensuring that Renesmee isn't either. The Volturi leave, explaining that there will be no battle.

Now back at the Cullen house, Alice has a vision of the future, seeing Bella and Edward and Jacob together and a fully matured Renesmee also together. Edward reads Alice’s mind and is relieved to find that Jacob will always protect Renesmee. Now alone in the meadow, Bella pushes her mental shield away and finally allows Edward to read her mind, showing him every moment they spent together. The film franchise ends with Bella tells Edward that “nobody has ever loved anybody as much as I love you” and with that, the film franchise finally comes to a close, with Bella and Edward together forever in their own vampire universe.

Breaking Dawn–Part 2 captured and finalized the Twilight saga, throwing a few twists and turns into the storyline. Now, I will admit, some of the dialogue seems a bit out of place when compared to the franchises previous films, but the overall feel remains the same. Breaking Dawn–Part 2, if anything, ties up the series without leaving any loopholes in an action-packed, bone-chilling way.

We see the new Bella right at the beginning of them, which I believe is one of the best character developments I’ve ever seen. She’s changed, but not in a way that doesn't seem unrealistic (that is, if you consider vampires, werewolves, and hybrids of some sort realistic.) She, like the Cullens, can run from place to place instantaneously, sees nature in great detail, and has a daggering taste for blood.

Vampire Bella is not someone I would describe in the same way I would describe human Bella. Human Bella is seclusive, insecure, and sensitive. Vampire Bella is more confident, and more herself. Human Bella is more of a daydreamer, and vampire Bella is more realistic, and excited to live her life as an immortal.

Spending the last week and a half watching, reading, and analyzing Twilight and Twilight saga reviews, there is one thing that I’ve noticed. Bella, and Kirsten Stewart, who plays Bella, received generally negative reviews from critics. Stewart played Bella exactly how she was written, both human and vampire. Bella, as a character, is not very relatable or self-actualized, which is exactly how Stewart played her to be.

Now, back to the film and the saga as a whole. Watching Breaking Dawn–Part 2 is thrilling, especially in the later part of the movie. I know what’s going to happen when the Cullens and their witnesses fight Volturi. Nonetheless, I was still at the edge of my seat and holding my breath for these characters. Watching many of these beloved characters die, but not die, even though I knew what was going to happen, was heart wrenching and thrilling.

Overall, I believe this film to be the perfect and bittersweet ending to the Twilight saga. Built up from Eclipse, I think it gave many what they wanted in an ending. Twilight, I believe, will always have an important place in pop and teen culture, and will always be something that many, including myself, reminisce on. Now, I believe that it’s getting the recognition that it deserves because society has moved past the point of hating something because teenage girls love it. I think that it’s okay to like Twilight, it’s okay to like things that are not deemed as classical or “good” literature, and it’s okay to like something simply because it's enjoyable.

Breaking Dawn–Part 2 perfectly closed the series, but I don’t think the series will ever fully be forgotten or deemed unimportant by societal standards. I think, in an essence, teenage girls, or everyone else for that matter, will always remember the gut-wrenching, thrilling, bone-chilling, and romantic, vampiric series that is Twilight.

Y/N strut down the halls, an easy going smile on her face as people peered at her enviously.

On her right, their arms linked, was her boyfriend, Edward Cullen. The man that introduced her to a world of vampires and shifters and so much more. The one who promised her eternal life once she was 23.

Her eyes caught the new girls and scanned her. The girl was definately at the very least average looking.

Her hair went to her shoulders, clips keeping her messy fringe from falling into her dark, muddy brown eyes. Her eyebrows thin and sad.

She felt Edward stiffen beside her.

"Edward?"

The vampire didn't look her way, instead they were latched onto the New Girl's, who looked back at him in interest.

She looked up, her e/c eyes widening when she spotted Edward's were black.

"Edward," She mumbled, getting infront of him and grabbing his face. "Edward! Come on!" She shook his head gently in his hands. His eyes finally found hers, slowly fading back into gold.

"I--"

"I know, you're ok. Lets take a walk, biology can wait." She grasped his hand, pulling him forcefully away and out of the building.

Over the next few weeks, she realised a difference in Edward.

At first, it was as tiny as no longer paying attention or zoning out of conversations. Then it was the staring. His eyes never left Bella's. His thoughts seemed to be somewhere else.

Edward also seemed very protective of the girl, which annoyed her in a way she was uncomfortable with.

She was Edwards mate, his one and only. Destined to be together. Bella Swan was a blood bag, a distraction. Someone that as soon as they lost all blood, attraction would cease.

But Edward seemed to forget the differences between the titles. He befriended Bella. Walked her to class, laughed at her jokes. Would even cancel on her to spend time with the brunette.

Whispers began to start up. Talking about Edward cheating. How the two were spotted snogging in the halls. How her and Edward broke up.

Frankly, she had enough.

Her tray slammed onto the metal table. Earning curious looks from students.

"What!" She exclaimed, glaring at all her nosey classmates.

She plopped down angrily, picking at her food.

She looked up at the pale faces.

"Y/N," Alice called, indicating towards Jasper, his face scrunched up painfully.

"Sorry..." She took a large breath, her eyes closing. "I just--"

Rosalie put a hand on her shoulder.

"We know." She assured.

"It's fine, Bella's just an appetizer, you're dessert!" Emmett shrugged, grinning at the human.

"Well...he's never had a sweet tooth," Y/N growled.

"Where is our dearest brother?"

"Don't know. Wherever Bella is,"

"You should go find him," Alice said, a pitying look on her face.

Y/N's eyes widened before she scowled.

"Alice...what did you see?"

Alice shook her head, her eyes darting to her hands.

"Go to his locker..."

She was up in a flash, storming past the tables and out of the cafeteria, Smoke flowing from her ears.

"I just...she keeps glaring at me Edward!" Bella yelled, her hands on her head. "It's so unsettling."

Edward laughed slightly.

"It's fine, Y/N doesn't like new people,"

"I can tell," she huffed, edging closer. "I'm just getting annoyed of these secret meetings..."

"They aren't secret. Everyone knows we have them."

"Everyone except Y/N." Bella giggled when Edward looked away.

"I just need to figure things out..." He muttered.

"What's to figure out," She slowly wraps her arms around his neck. "You like me Edward, you're drawn to me. You said it yourself. Don't let her control your feelings," She leaned in, their lips inches from locking.

"Excuse me," Y/N swooped in, her arm locking with Edwards and shoving him back. "I have to talk to Edward. You can have a snog fest after,"

Without waiting for a reply, Y/N directed Edward out of the building, her face red in anger.

"What was that?" Y/N exploded, turning to face him.

"It's nothing," Edward explained, taking a step closer.

"Nothing!?." She screeched. "You almost kissed a girl you've know for a month. Bearing in mind you've known me for two fucking years!"

Edward placed a cool hand on her shoulders.

"You don't get to touch me!" She flinched away from his hands.

"Y/N, you have to understand...Bella is--"

"A blood bag!" She yelled, looking around to make sure nobody was near before lowering her voice. "You're attracted to her blood Edward, not her. I'm your mate, someone who you're ment to be with. Bella is someone you're ment to feed off of and enjoy!"

"Don't talk about her like that!" Edward fumed, crossing his arms.

"I will talk about her how i like Edward!" She growled. "You need to get your head out of your arse and start noticing the differences between love bound by fate and love of something so fickle as blood," the human hissed. "And until you figure it out, I'm not wasting my time with someone who is distracted by a manipulative little girl!"

Edward scoffed, running a hand through unruly hair.

"So this is it? Two years together and you're breaking up with me?"

"Don't make me out to be the bad guy Edward! How can you expect me to be with someone who is fooling around with another girl?"

"We aren't fooling around!" He defended, his hands moving in his frustration.

"Really? Well, until you decide whether you want me or her, we're on a break,"

The girl turned on her heels, walking away from the scene.

The news travelled fast of their split, people still looked her way, but instead of in wow or jealousy, it was to mock her.

She kept her head held high though, refused to cave under their stares. She did the right thing. She didn't regret it.

She still spoke to the Cullens , but often Bella was there, Edward's arm wrapped around her shoulders.

Rosalie hated her, glared at her and ignored Edward too, Emmett didn't stop her, neither did he glare at them.

Jasper tried to be supportive, maybe it was for the best. But he couldn't help but scowl when he caught the emotions Bella was feeling: smug, victorious, proud.

Like she had just won a prize.

Edward brushed it off, ignoring his brother's warnings.

Alice was confused, she tried to see what Bella's future was like, Edward was never in them. She kept it to herself though. Not wanting to hurt anyone. She was less excepting of Bella. It wasn't obvious to Bella, but someone close to Alice, like Jasper, picked up on the reluctance she felt when Bella sauntered to the table.

Y/N wasn't seen after a while, stopped going to school for a week. People began to worry. Wondering if the frail girl was so heartbroken that she took her own life. The very idea but a heavy weight on Edward's heavy heart.

Then she showed back up.

She seemed...happier. she smiled at people as she walked passed, a genuine, welcoming smile.

People began to flock her, warming up to her and wanting to be friends, she earned quite a good few looks from the other males in the school too, which she soaked up.

She began to find a new crowd, away from the supernatural. Away from the danger and immortality.

It was going so well, until it wasn't.

Bella was in a car crash, her body was found too late. She died young.

Although she wasn't Y/N's favourite person, nobody should have to die so young.

She felt even worse when she saw Charlie Swan.

A child should bury their parents. A parent should never bury their child.

She paid respects to her, not apologising, but giving her flowers before silently reading the letters engraved into stone repeatedly before getting up and walking away, never speaking a word.

Edward tried to talk to her. He always came up to the beauty, trying to start conversation, but he was always ignored, something that pained him deeply.

People couldn't help but throw Edward dirty looks.

He left his girlfriend for a girl he knew for only a month, then when his new girlfriend dies tragically in a car crash, he turns to his Ex for comfort.

You assured them it wasn't happening.

"Y/N!"

Said girl rolls her eyes.

"What, Cullen?"

Edward ran infront of her, halting her escape.

"Can you let me talk for one sec?"

Y/N scowled.

"Five minutes, go,"

Edward sighed.

"Look, I know what i did was wrong and i should have realised, but i got so confused and--"

"You are hundreds of years old Edward. You should know the difference between love and rare steak,"

'I know!!"

"But thats not even the main reason I'm angry. I gave you time to think Edward, i thought you would use that time to take a step back and evaluate the situation. Instead you immediately prance around with that girl, showing her off like a peacock shows its feathers!" Her fingers pointed at his chest. "Don't act like you're a good boy for realising. Cause i know for a fact that if she hadn't died then you would of never realised and would still be at her beck and call!"

Edward grit his teeth.

"What am i ment to tell you! I'm trying to fix things! It's what you want!"

Scoffing, Y/N crossed her arms.

"You think I'm going to crawl to your feet again? After your girlfriend just died? I'm not that shallow and disrespectful!"

"I thought you hated her?"

"No, do i hate how she acted? Yes. Do i hate that you chose her over me? Yes. But i don't hate her. I have a strong dislike for the girl. But that doesn't mean I'm going to go straight back into the cold ass arms of the man she thought loved her as soon as she dies!"

Edward sifted a hand through his thick locks.

"What do you want me to say!?"

"Sorry!" Y/N bellowed, face red. "Thats all i wanted. You can keep knocking on my Door Edward Cullen, but i never will answer."

She turned on her heel, walking away from her mate, her destined partner.

The sad truth was...she knew she'd take him back. It was destiny for them to be mates. Fate had chose to pair them together.

It was something she couldn't control.

Eventually she would open the door.

Letting all the vampires and Werewolves and demons and danger back into her life.

She knew it couldn't be helped.

But she'd be damned if she let her just walk in.

No, he needs to go back to her on his hands and knees, begging.

Breaking Dawn - 3* review

Oh boy was this a long one. Okay, I really don't know how to feel about this book, because on one hand I had lots of fun revisiting my old favourite and picking it apart but on the other hand I had a very big issue with a major part of the plot. If I were rating based on each book within this book, I would give book one 4*and book two and three 3*. It starts out strong, then gets progressively harder to keep track of, but then maybe my short attention span is the problem here. I learned many interesting facts and character traits in this book, and I also figured out something important to do with imprinting that's been vaguely introduced in the previous book but is explored in-depth here. Stick around if you want to see what that discovery is. As usual, I'll be putting interesting and relevant facts and things I found particularly offensive under sub-headings, but I'll be saying a lot about each book as if it's separate before then, because Breaking Dawn as a whole is too long to talk about with any coherency. So without further ado: There are only spoilers ahead. Book 1: Bella First let me just say that these books have such amazing prologues/prefaces that immediately grab your attention. If you didn't know she was going to get pregnant, it would probably seem like she's talking about Edward being the one killing her. Anyway, this book was shorter than I expected, but far more enjoyable. This one seems to be more family oriented in the language used than previous in the series; while before any of the Cullens would be described as 'Edward's adopted -' , in this they are simply his mother, his brothers, his sisters. Even Jasper, who always seemed to me to be the outsider of the bunch, uses the term "We Cullens" and it just feels more like a family than a vampire coven pretending to be a family. This is helped along by Bella suddenly knowing so much more about the history of the Cullens and their extended family the Denalis. She's ready to fit right on in there. This book deals with the wedding and the honeymoon. Bella reflects on how she told her parents, freaks out about getting married, has her wedding, abruptly changes her stance on said wedding, then they shoot off to the honeymoon and things occur. Basically, she gets pregnant. It's a huge commotion. Backtracking, both Charlie and Renee were weirdly supportive about the engagement and handled it super well, with Renee and Bella having such a lovely conversation I nearly teared up. She's a great mother even when she's not physically there for Bella. Bella, on the other hand, is doing that thing again where she's selfish and a bit mean without realising she's being that way. Poor Edward is stressed to his eyeballs about the honeymoon and the very real possibility of hurting and even killing Bella, and she just brushes him right off. More on that later, but that's not the responsible way to do things, Bella. Fast forward to the honeymoon, and Edward is now the one being dramatic, refusing to sleep with her again because he bruised her and not listening to her when she says she's perfectly fine. The way it happens is very funny. Then we get to see random things happening that oh so subtly turn out to be pregnancy symptoms, like strange dreams about vampire babies who look human, oversleeping, mood swings, strange eating habits, and last but not least, morning sickness. It wasn't subtle. When they figure it out Edward loses it and says he's going to arrange for her to have an abortion. Bella asks Rosalie for help, and screen fades to black. The big theme here is that Bella changes her mind. She doesn't want to be married until she suddenly does at her wedding, she doesn't want to stay human until she decides she can afford a few extra years, and she doesn't want kids until she's already pregnant. Even with Rosalie, their slowly evolving relationship wasn't going to be proper friendship until Bella asks her for help. She's changing so quickly it's like getting whiplash, but it's not unrealistic. That's how I make most of my big decisions too, like it simmers away unnoticed until it's ready to be addressed. Relatable, really. Book 2: Jacob Book 2 takes us through Bella's pregnancy from Jacob's perspective, as he goes from planning to kill the Cullens to becoming their biggest protector and an Alpha of his own pack. As much as I love multiple POVs in books this is one I couldn't get behind, and here's why. One of the main themes in this book is imprinting. I don't like it. While I adore soulmates as a concept, and even more so platonic soulmates, it's made clear that this isn't what that is, and it's icky. We get 4 pages of Quil interacting with his imprint Claire, who is 3. The whole time Jacob has a running commentary on how Quil is more devoted than a parent would ever be, how he wants to make her so very happy, how it's so very different from that of a parent, and how Quil has to wait like a "monk" for "a good fourteen years" until Claire was his age. This was never platonic, it was a waiting game. It's also grooming. This was also around the time it became apparent just why Quil imprinted on Claire in the first place: it was all a set up for Jacob's eventual imprint. It had to be a part of the story before it happened so people wouldn't question it, and for the most part it worked. Both Quil's story and Jacob's interactions with a pregnant Bella prove this: "the hold she had on me only got harder to break. Almost like it was related to her expanding belly" and "It feels... complete when you're here, Jacob. Like all my family is together." I hated reading that. He should've imprinted on that nice girl Lizzie, from the park. Surely Stephenie Meyer could've come up with something else to keep Nessie alive? Onto similarly disturbing things but less revolting in the long run, Bella's story here seems to be an attempt at pro-life propaganda that backfired. The reason? Bella makes a choice about her body, and though most of them don't like it, they don't force her to do otherwise. People seem to forget that being pro-choice also means the choice to stay pregnant even when it's best not to. Bella makes that decision and she's absolutely sure of it, at the expense of her life and health, but it's hers to make. She is pitted against Edward, who would absolutely force her to have an abortion if he had backup, and who is also losing his damn mind. He insists to Jacob that Carlisle would help him if not for Esme, and that Rosalie doesn't care about Bella's life, only the baby's. Carlisle himself tells Jacob he would never take the choice away from Bella, and context shows that Rosalie is protecting Bella's choices and bodily autonomy, and carrying out her last wishes to ensure the baby is brought into the world healthy. Remember that Rosalie had all her choices taken from her, and all she wanted for Bella was for her to make the right ones. Edward doesn't change his stance until he discovers the baby has thoughts that can be read, and loves Bella. Once again, this seems to have been an attempt at showing that babies have thoughts and feelings in the womb, but it does almost the opposite as Bella is a day away from full term and not once has anything been picked up by either him or Jasper before that point. It's safe to assume there was nothing to pick up on. The pregnancy ends with a truly horrifying birth scene that made my hands go numb and my ears ring from the violence of it all. Bella dies, Jacob imprints on a minutes-old baby and begins his journey as a child groomer, and then Bella comes back and begins her transformation. Book 3: Bella. Or as I like to call it: It all goes downhill from here. Bella has the most unrealistic yet brutal experience ever, and is now a super sexy, super perfect, super powerful, super smart vampire. She has a perfect baby, perfect control of her bloodlust, and somehow the perfect life. But oh no! The Volturi are threatening that peace! Who could have predicted that the last remaining villains would appear in the last book? Now Bella and the rest of the Cullens have to find their friends to stop the Volturi in their track, but peacefully of course, because they are the good guys really! Just a misunderstanding! I'm so glad that was addressed in story, because I would not have been able to deal with a pro-police/pro-dictator story in this political climate. The most unrealistic part of this is when the Volturi don't simply assert their vampire dominance over them by killing them all without taking their own witnesses. I didn't like how Bella suddenly became perfect and good at everything in this book. It's so unrealistic. Less than a month to become the strongest shield ever and be able to scare the ancient Volturi? Perfect control on her first hunt? I think not thank you. There was also a missed opportunity to have Bella be a psychic of some kind since she dreamt of the future accurately many times. Renesmee was very sweet though, and that's all I'll say on that. Now onto my lists! Differences between book and film This was mostly pretty accurate in terms of plot. - Edward's backstory that we see pre-wedding isn't a thing in the book. It actually isn't a thing in any of the main books, but I can't speak for the others. - Bella knows about the immortal children before the book even starts, and she's the one to realise that Irina thought Renesmee was one herself. - The wedding is inside. The film had it outside I'm pretty sure. - The whole part where Jacob freaks out and borrows a very fancy sports car to go and try to find his imprint was never in the films, and I think that's a tragedy. Vampires - The appearance of the nicknames Em and Jazz for Emmett and Jasper. It's not at all important I just thought it was cute. - Half vampire babies use their teeth to escape the womb. Also, Renesmee was trying to be careful to not hurt Bella while she was still inside her. She started reading when she was under 3 months. If I saw a baby read aloud in full sentences I'd never sleep again. - Edward called Jacob "Jake" in book 3. It's weird how their relationship changes throughout the book. - Poor Renesmee knows it's because of her that the Volturi are coming, and says "This is my fault." She's just a few months old at this point, and she's already going through a whole lot. - The volturi look like someone threw baby powder on them because they sat still for so long they started "petrifying". - There are 32 Volturi members, considering they took the whole coven with them to Forks. - Fun Bella fact: she was going to let Charlie assume what was up with her because she thinks he will never decide on vampire. Red Flags Most of these have been discussed in depth so I'll just mention them briefly. - Edward, pre wedding, is described as having a "panic attack" by Bella at the thought of hurting her, and instead of reassuring him she brushes him off and thinks "He wasn't getting out of this deal. Not after insisting I marry him first." This is beyond selfish and even cruel, because he has a point and genuine concerns that should have been discussed properly. - "We're going to get that thing out before it can hurt any part of you." Edward has decided this for himself, without Bella's input. - Jacob contemplates suicide over the thought of having to see Leah. This is absolutely not something that should be talked about like it's nothing. - The imprinting of Quil and Claire. - Every bit of foreshadowing about Jacob imprinting on Renesmee, and the act itself. - Rosalie calls the place in South America where the half vampire myths originated "a disease-infested swamp with a medicine man smearing sloth spit across your face" in relation to giving birth there, and it's more than a little racist. How would she even know what it's like? - "the Egyptians all looked so alike, with their midnight hair and olive-toned pallor, that they could have easily passed for a biological family" The white, blonde Denali sisters were never ever described this way, so why are the non-white people described as such? - Bella had "never met any vampires less civilized" than the Amazons. They have long black braids, so we can assume they aren't white. Why are only the non-white vampires being described these ways? - Bella describes the rough area where she met 1 person, who was working for J Jenks and happened to be Black, but was well dressed in rich clothes, as the "ghetto address". Upon googling, I learnt that this refers to low income areas of a city that are occupied by minorities. She met one person. How could she possibly know if it was the "ghetto"? It was described as the "downtown office" by Max, the man in question, so why wouldn't she just use that term? - Jacob gives Renesmee the Quileute equivalent of a promise ring. I want to throw up, because we all know what a promise ring symbolises. - Lastly but certainly not leastly, when learning Renesmee will be full grown at age 7, Bella feels a "shudder" from Jacob. I hate it, it's gross, it needs to burn. Disgusting. And that's that, sorry it's so long, I had a lot to say. If you have any opinions on this review, feel free to discuss with me!

Fated Mate Pt3 - Emmett x reader

Pt 3

You felt like you were floating, everything seemed to move in slow motion as your body fell through the air towards the choppy ocean below. You closed your eyes and the icy water engulfed you, you felt peaceful as you could hear the sound of the water rushing through your ears, you felt like you could think and everything was quieter now. But then you started to panic, your chest burned, you longed for air and everything in your body was pleading you to make it back up to the surface.

You thought about your Uncle Charlie and Bella, thought about your Parents. You opened your eyes and thought you saw Alice, heading off the cliff straight for you, reaching out. But before you could make any sense of what you were seeing, you whacked your head off a sharp boulder hidden in the sandy ocean floor, and everything went dark.

*Alice’s pov*

No! How could you do that. Fling yourself off the cliff like your life didn't matter anymore! Alice didn't have to think twice about jumping in after you, she almost had you in her grasp when she watched your head bounce against a jagged rock, turning the ocean red. She pulled you out and with her vampire speed carried you back to the Cullen house. She felt sick, so sick, she couldn't believe she was holding her sweet dying friend in her arms.

She screamed for Carlisle and he came in an instant taking Y/N’s body from her hands. Jasper came up behind her and put a blanket around her shoulders, doing his best to comfort his wife. Bella ran towards her cousin and let out a choked scream as she looked upon Y/N’s ghostly pale face, purple rings around her eyes and blood pouring from a gash on her head. Edward grabbed his wife as Carlisle took your body into a room they had set up, ready for whatever Alice was bringing home.

Hearing all the commotion, Emmett came charging through the house but before he could see what was happening, Edward and Alice held him back. He looked confused at his siblings. “What are you both doing, it’s Jasper and Bella that have to control themselves around blood!” Jasper flipped him off and Alice just looked at Emmett.

“Em you can’t go in there, Y/N, she’s lost so much blood, I don't think she’s going to make it. You cant see her.” Alice then whispered “It would ruin you.” Yet again he looked confused but Edward decided he should know just incase you didn't make it.

“Emmett, Alice had a vision, Y/N is your true mate.” Edward dug his heels into the carpet as his brother tried to get past, being the one with the super strength, it didn't take him long before he stumbled into the room, gulping and clenching his jaw as he looked at your small body lying listlessly on the operating table.

“Carlisle fix her. Fix her now!” he roared and started throwing things around the room, knocking the surgical instruments off the metal table. “How didn't I know she was my mate! Please, we have to do something!” Emmett didn't know what to do with himself and Alice just stood there sobbing as she watched her brother break down.

Alice watched as Bella rounded the corner, trying to hold her back this time was no use, she was a newborn and even stronger than Emmett at this point. Before anyone knew what was happening, Bella had plunged a needle full of Vampire venom into your heart and the room erupted in noise.

*Y/N pov*

Burning, fire, pain, I felt like I was being stuck with 1,000 white hot pokers, I could hear muffled sounds all around me, a mans voice stood out among them all, but I still couldn't make out words. My body was writhing, I wanted to claw my way out of my own skin. It felt like the pain lasted a lifetime but then all at once it stopped and I opened my eyes.

It was bright, everything seemed to be so clear and in so much detail, the noises were louder now, I felt like I could hear everything, my senses seemed heightened. Maybe this was all a bad dream and I was going to wake up any second now. Mum and dad would be downstairs cooking breakfast and everything would be back to normal.

I slowly sat up and looked around. Or not. Several pairs of red eyes were starring at me, all of them belonged to people I knew. Bella was there and she looked shocked, Edward gave me a small smile and Alice, well, she flung her arms around me and squeezed me tight, I kind of just sat there awkwardly not really knowing what was going on.

Carlisle, the doctor I had come to know, mostly because I’m clumsy and fall a lot, smiled at me, his wife standing next to him. “How do you feel Y/N?” I looked at him strangely, and then I remembered. The crashing of the waves, the wind, the pain I felt as I let myself fall off the cliff. I gasped and felt the back of my head where it had hit the rocks. Nothing, not even a bump.

“What’s happening, why am I not dead?” You whimpered and got up to stand, placing your hand on the metal surface to help push yourself up and you gasped when the metal bent under your finger tips. “Okay, what the fuck is going on” You started to freak out and that’s when Bella made her way over to you. You thought she was going to hug you but she didn’t, she slapped you. She slapped me so hard my face whipped to the side, then she grabbed me and pulled me into a bone crushing hug. “What the hell were you thinking Y/N!” She was crying and I started crying too.

“I’m sorry, I just felt like there was nothing here for me anymore.” You went up to the mirror to wipe your tear stained cheeks and gasped. Your eyes were bright red, not from the crying, no, your pupils were red! Your lips were more full and your skin less pale, you looked, well, gorgeous.

“Okay, is someone going to tell me whats going on?” You locked eyes with Emmett from across the room and shivered, your hairs standing on end in a good way, his gaze was intense. Admittedly you had been crushing on Emmett since moving to forks, but he was with Rose and he would never see you in that way anyway. You looked around at everyone questioningly.

Rosalie walked into the room just at the right time. “Congrats kid, you're a vampire!”

Everyone groaned and Esme looked at her daughter disapprovingly. You scoffed and laughed out loud, but by the look Bella was giving you, you knew whatever Rose was saying was true.

“Well fuck.”

The Storm Coming In / Jasper Hale Imagine

A/N - Hi everyone! This is the first imagine I have posted and I am very excited! Don’t be afraid to send in any requests for Twilight characters. I would love to see them.

Jasper leaves with family when Edward leaves, reader struggles to stick to a routine. Jasper shows up to watch her sing in a diner after a month and they figure out how to go on from there.

It had been almost a month since any trace of your boyfriend Jasper disappeared with the rest of the Cullen's and as much as you would love to remain in your bed for the rest of your days, you saw the world changing around you, you knew you had to adapt to survive. You didn’t seem to know what adapting meant at this point, but you knew you couldn’t keep doing what you were doing. You finally found yourself being able to stand in the outside world and you knew that you had a show tonight at the diner in your hometown of Forks. You could not have called out of this again. Ever since you were little you’d find yourself on the small, dinky stage at the secluded diner, performing every Saturday night. You had always loved to sing, nothing had ever intervened with your love of performing before, Jasper seemed to have taken your passion with him when he left. There was not a show you had done since meeting the boy that hadn’t had a song dedicated to the love of your life since you met him, he hadn’t missed one yet, neither of you ever thought he really would. You shook your head trying to void yourself of any thoughts of the guilt-ridden empath. It was currently 4pm and you had to be at the diner by 6:45pm to do a quick mic check before the show would start at 7pm. It seemed that everyone in town had known what had happened to you. Everyone had thought you and Jasper would be together for the rest of your lives, it wasn’t a question. You think people expected you to act differently, you had spent your whole life making sure your reputation stayed squeaky clean and no one thought it would be easy for you to get over this, no one expected you to completely shut down as you did.

You stepped into the shower and you let the scalding water pour over you, you stood there for as long as you could before going on with your normal show routine. Everything in your life had a routine. You never realized how controlled to the clock you were before a month of forcing yourself into isolation, it almost made you laugh. You couldn’t care less anymore. Once you finished, you stepped out of the shower, towel drying your hair and body before getting dressed. You wore a simple white knit sweater, black mom jeans and your favorite pair of doc martens. After your hair finished drying you french braided the (Y/H/C) pieces into a low curled ponytail. You put on just enough makeup so you didn’t look completely dead and called it quits. You couldn’t eat on show days. No matter how many times you had performed, nervous or not, you couldn’t bring yourself to eat anything. You knew the sweet owners of the diner, Don and Barb, would have a to-go box waiting for you once you had finished. Barb had texted you a few days after word had gotten around that the Cullens had left telling you to take your time, to call in if you needed and she had dropped off your favorite soup at least twice throughout every week of him being gone. When you had asked to take a month off from your Saturday nights at the diner, she had been so kind and when you told her you were ready to come back she was more than ecstatic. You walked past your mother when exiting your house towards your car, who informed you that she and your father would be there tonight to support your first night back. You bid a quick thank you and continued the walk to your car. Your parents had been so amazing through this break-up, they followed your lead the best they could. Neither of them had expected this either, they had nothing, but love for yours and Jaspers relationship. Your mother was so heart-broken that this was how you were doomed to spend your junior year, she didn’t know how you would come back from this. They knew that Jasper was the one for you, your father had done his best to get a hold of Carlisle who didn’t offer much of an explanation at all. No one knew what to tell you anymore. No one knew how to comfort you or how to approach you when you ate lunch alone at the Cullens table. The people around you really struggled when it came to seeing you so down and out, you were a walking ray of human sunshine, seeing you upset was never something they had prepared themselves for.

You drove the familiar road to the small diner and you were there in under ten minutes, you sat in the car for a little while, preparing to go into the public willingly again. You made sure you had all of your stuff, checked your reflection quickly, took a deep breath and proceeded to leave the safety of your car. You walked through the doors and began your path to the little sound system next to the small stage. As you were walking, you caught Barb's eye as she was putting some money in the register, she looked up and sent you a wave and a smile. She shook her finger at you signaling that she would be over there in a second, you sent her a tight lipped smile and a nod in response. Once you arrived at the stage you pulled up the karaoke playlist you had made earlier that day to make your transitions between songs easier. Before you knew it you had been spun around and pulled into a firm hug. The familiar scent of Barb and apple pie filled your nose and for the first time in a while you had a genuine smile.

“Oh my dear, it is so good to have you back,” You could tell she was being honest.

“It is good to be back, I have a good set list tonight. I am bringing back some old stuff, I have something new too that I really think will be fun.” You were trying your best to carry on a normal conversation.

“I am so glad to hear that. How are you doing? Have you heard from him at all?” There it was. The inevitable Jasper question. The second you heard it your mouth went dry, you shook your head and gave a quick answer, obviously trying to end this portion of the conversation.

“I am so sorry, love. We sure will miss seeing the two of you around here.”

“I will miss it too, I just wish I knew anything at all. I have no way to gain closure and I feel like I am just stuck in this weird limbo.” This may have been the most open statement you had made about the situation so far. You and Bella had spent a lot of time trying to figure out why they had left, Bella knows Edward left to protect her from Victoria, but that doesn’t explain why Jas would leave you with no explanation. You had tried to text and call him nearly everyday, but it was radio silence. Eventually you and Bella fell out of touch, you were painful reminders of each other's missing half. You knew her father, Charlie and her would be at the diner tonight. Everyone was trying to be as supportive as they could.

Barbra interrupted your thoughts after letting the information you gave her sink in for a short while, “I am sorry, dear. I should not have brought it up.”

You responded honestly, “I have to talk about it eventually.” You didn't mean to sound as bitter as you did when you said this, but the poison behind your words were a given when discussing him.

Barb shifted a bit before saying, “Well, it's seven. Are you ready to start?” You took a deep breath and muttered a “Yes, of course.” Barb made her way up the steps of the hip-length, black stage, she took the mic in her hand and gave it a quick tap, gaining the attention of the usual Saturday customers, lots of which came for your little shows. It was as close as they could get to a concert in a town like Forks, seeing as the diner was a teen hangout it tended to be pretty packed on nights like this. You saw the door open and you caught Bella’s eye as she walked in with Charlie following behind her. You sent a quick wave and she sent one back.

“Hey! How is everyone doing?” Barb spoke clearly into the microphone as everyone gave a small cheer. She continued, “We are so blessed to have our own (Y/N) back to sing for us after a small break! I do not have to tell any of you new-comers how amazing this girl is, the turn out every Saturday night and her voice speaks for themselves. Give her a warm welcome everyone,” You walked up the steps taking this time to look into the crowd and register who was here You saw quite a few people from school, you saw your parents smiling wide as ever, you caught sight of your best friend Paul and the rest of his pack, you sent him a small smile which he returned with a bigger one and two thumbs up.

One you reached Barb, she handed you the mic and you sent her a grateful look, you loved her introductions. “Hey everyone! I have missed this a lot, I am so glad to go back at it again. For those of you who don’t know, I have sung here almost every Saturday night since I was 8 years old and it is my favorite thing to do,” You weren’t lying, but you sure as hell aren't telling the whole truth. Your first night out after Jasper leaving was becoming a little overwhelming, but you had to push through.

“I am going to throw it back with some of my old favorites to perform and then we will try some new stuff, does that sound alright with you?” The small crowd sent out a quick cheer and you smiled back at them.

“Alright! Here is, I Got Stripes by Johnny Cash!” You tried to do music to please the crowd which led you to do a mix of music that was older.

The music starts up and you see your dads head start bopping, this was always his favorite to hear you sing.

“I hear the train coming

Its rolling round the bend

And I aint seen the sunshine since, I don’t know when

I’ve been stuck in Folsom Prison and time keeps dragging on,”

You do your best to connect with people in the audience throughout your set, but all your mind could keep going back to was the Cullen family. You had always told yourself that your art would come first and if your 10 year-old self could see you right now she would slap the shit out of you. You were letting your career be interrupted for a boy, but you couldn’t help it. You felt completely numb, you couldn’t enjoy what you were doing at all. You thought back to seeing Jasper after every show. He always let you see everyone else first and then he would meet you in your guys booth in the back with a quick kiss and a bouquet of flowers. You always told him he didn’t have to do that. You’ve performed so many times that it wasn’t anything special anymore. He would always reply with a smug smile and say “Anything you do is special, Sugar.” That boy made you weak in the knees, but he was gone. He left you, with no explanation, after three years together. You knew all of his secrets, his family's secrets. He knew yours. You tried to push the thought of him out of your head again. Eventually you found yourself at the last song of your set, this was always a song you would dedicate to Jasper, you found your heart in your throat as you spoke.

“You have been such a wonderful audience, I am so happy to be back up here. The last song of the night is one I never thought I would perform. This song has always been my safe space and something that meant a lot to someone who I loved dearly. Hopefully you love it as much as I do. Here is Maybe This Time from Cabaret.” The second you finished speaking you saw the back door of the diner open and a man in a hoodie slide into the booth closest to the door. The second the music started you saw him stiffen and you knew immediately who it was. You wanted to stop the music, start a scene, but you knew you couldn’t do that. You had the wind knocked out of you as you saw Paul rise and slowly saunter to the booth that Jasper was sitting in, you had almost missed your entrance to the song, but quickly picked it back up in order to keep the audience's eyes on you and not on the back of the diner. You didn’t know what Paul would do to Jasper. You and Paul had grown up together, from chubby little toddlers in diapers to teen with intense hormonal acne, he had done his best to be there for you once Jasper had left, but between you pushing him away and the duties of the pack he couldn’t do much. You opened up your mouth and for some reason the words came out,

“Maybe this time, I'll be lucky

You finally brought your eyes up off the ground and looked at everyone except him, you couldn’t look at him and sing this song. You loved musical theatre, Jasper did his best to tolerate it. The only show he ever really loved was Cabaret, he would never tell you why when you asked. You just reminded him so much of Sally Bowles. She was a performer, hopeful, loud and opinionated, he loved that about you. When you had sung this song for him, it was the first time he had ever heard you sing. You were sitting in his bedroom and were playing Truth or Dare. He had asked if you had any talents and you said you could sing a bit, when he asked you to sing for him you clammed up. You loved to sing so much, but you had a huge crush on the boy and did not want to embarrass yourself. You were supposed to save this song for the weekend at the diner, but he loved it so much you never wanted to share it with anyone else. This song showed exactly how he felt towards you. He wanted to stay so badly, but he was always scared as to what would happen if he did. He thought, maybe this time, it would be different and he could. You found yourself reaching the end of the song and at this point you had looked at everyone except Jasper. When you finally willed yourself to look at him you saw Paul sitting next to him, completely, maybe he was trying to keep him from leaving, maybe he was trying to make sure he stayed close so he could kick his ass after they left the diner, you had no idea. Jasper looked up and you willed yourself to move your eyes off of Paul and onto Jasper. Meeting his eyes took everything out of you, every bit of energy and willingness to go on that you had in you completely disappeared.

Maybe this time I'll win,” once you finished the last word everyone in the diner was on their feet. You stood, forcing a smile, glaring a hole into Jasper's head. Jasper stopped making eye contact with you towards the very end of the song. He could feel what you were feeling, he felt it over everyone else in the small space. Your pain was loud, it wanted to be felt. Your anguish nearly took him off his feet, he didn’t know how you were standing and smiling, even as unconvincingly as you were. You gave the audience a quick wave and walked down the steps after you thanked everyone for coming out tonight, the second you got down the stairs you were saying your hellos as fast as you could so you could leave immediately. You loved Jasper more than anything, but you weren’t ready for this, it was all too much. You finally got in your car, after Barb forced a to-go box on you. The second you got in your car you lost it, sobbing harder than ever into your hands. Why was this all so overwhelming? You knew Bella had Jasper hostage questioning him about Edward and such. He was grateful that you hadn't been pulling the stuff that Bella had been pulling, the dangerous stunts to get a glimpse of him. He didn’t know what he would have done if you were trying to injure yourself. He left to prevent that, he knew he was in the wrong , but he had the right intentions. The Cullens had come up to collect the last of their things when Jasper caught a glimpse of you through the window of the diner. It was almost eight so he knew you would be about finished, but he wanted to see you perform for the last time. He needed it, and when he heard you singing your guy's song, he knew he had made a mistake. When he felt what you had felt, he knew he had to stay. He couldn’t leave you feeling like this. He thought you would be okay, even better without him. You would find someone who could give you a good normal life, a normal marriage, four kids playing in the backyard, you could have grandchildren, and grow old and grey with whoever you honored with that job. He knew you were it for him, he had one great love and he was determined to do what was best for you even though it was slowly killing him. It seemed that he had underestimated your love for him, he would never make that mistake again. You were right that Bella had found him and begun to question him to death, what you didn’t know was that she had dragged him outside of the diner to interrogate him. You wiped your eyes with your sleeve before fumbling to find your keys to start your car, as soon as you had put your key in the ignition you made eye contact with him. The love of your life standing twenty feet away from you and all you could do was put your car in reverse and exit the parking lot, or at least try, but before you could even attempt it, Jasper was standing beside your car window tapping lightly. You could see that his mouth was moving, but you couldn’t register a sound that came out. You were blank, before you were pulled out of it by hearing Paul's voice, booming like thunder.

“Jasper, she obviously doesn’t want to talk to you. I told you I’d let you try. She’s not re-” You couldn’t hear the rest of it. You sped out of the parking lot nearly knocking Jasper over in the process. You turned off everything you were feeling and you just drove. You drove for hours it seemed, you didn’t go anywhere, you just drove in circles. Once you started to come to reality again, you took a brief look at the clock, and you genuinely laughed so hard you had to pull over. You had been driving for hours, 3 hours to be exact. It was almost 11:30. You laughed until you couldn’t anymore and that’s when the tears came. Stupid Jasper. Stupid Cullens. Stupid diner. Stupid Bella. Stupid Edward. Stupid you. You let yourself cry it out until the tears stopped, you saw Barb closing down the diner through the window as it approached midnight. You knew you had to go home, your parents were easy on you as you grieved this lost relationship, but there was no way they would be okay with you missing curfew.

After you went home, you heated up to go box from the diner as you hadn’t eaten at all today resulting in a nasty headache. As you ate your food you checked your phone for the first time in hours. You had quite a few messages from people who were at the diner, congratulating you on a stellar show. You had a message from Bella wanting to check in, and you had at least ten messages from Paul asking where you were and letting you know that he “dealt with the Cullen problem,” you found yourself overwhelmed again especially when you heard the voicemail that Jasper had left. You could hear the pain in his voice,

“(Y/N), I know what I did was horrible. I am so sorry Darlin’. I wish I could take it back, I wish I never left and that you never had to feel the way that you do. Paul told me everything about how bad it was and I am so sorry. I don’t think I’ll ever forgive myself for making you feel that way. I’m going to stay, we are all going to stay. Edward needs a little more time, but we are back. Please let me make this up to you, I will do anythi-,” His voice cut out as you stopped the voicemail. You couldn’t handle anymore. You turned your phone off, walked up to your room, took your make-up off, undressed, redressed in pajamas, laid down and lit your favorite candle, you were a robot. You were stuck in your routine, letting the clock rule you again. You were doing the only thing you knew how to do anymore. Everything else had gone to shit, but you could save your routine. You had done everything so effortlessly you forced yourself to check out. You were only brought back again by the loud thump of something landing on the side of your house. You hear your window open and you hear the sounds of Jasper entering. You felt the bed dip next to you and you felt his hand rub the side of your face. You kept your eyes closed the whole time. You both knew you weren’t asleep, but neither of you were ready for this moment to be interrupted by the reality that he had left you. The love of your life had left you without so much as a goodbye and here he was stroking your face.

“I am so sorry,” he choked out

“I don’t know what happened, I don’t know why it happened and I don’t know what you were thinking. I don't want to know right now. I just can’t talk about this tonight. I love you, Jasper. I love you so much and I don’t know how I will continue to breathe if you ever pull this shit again. I swear to God, I will kill you. For right now I just want to lay here. I want you to hold me and I want to talk about the weather, I want to talk about school, I want to talk about our families and our siblings and homework, but I will not talk about you leaving me, you understand? We can start rebuilding in the morning. We can fix this, it’ll just take time. I need time. Are you in or are you out?” Neither of you had expected you to say that much or speak at all. All of the words came out before you even knew what you were doing. He looked at you with wide eyes and nodded. He sat himself down and wiggled his body so it was slightly underneath yours, You rolled over to put your head on his chest and his arm fell into place on your back. It was as if nothing had changed.

“So, how are you enjoying the rain?” The pale boy spoke with a hint of his accent peaking through. You could hear the smile on his face when he talked. You softly replied,

“It isn’t too bad, I am a bit worried about the storm that’s coming through.”

It’s been a real fucking stressful week so I’m finally gonna be drunk-watching and reviewing Breaking Dawn Pt. 2. However, I will likely only be slightly drunk(ish) (if at all) because I’m all out of liquor and only have one beer at the moment, but hopefully it’ll be enough to counteract how terrible this movie is lmao. As usual, here is what I remember from the movie the first (and only) time I ever watched it:

1. The battle scene happened but it was all in Alice’s vision and never actually happened.

2. Imprinting bullshit that none of us want to talk about. Let’s pretend it never happened.

3. Some weird dude makes fake IDs on demand.

4. All the vampires with cool powers get together, yet, sadly, they do not take down the Volturi to form a better, democratic government.

My thoughts as I’m watching are below the break:

- The opening credits triggered a forgotten feeling of sadness. Was it sadness over a terrible plot or sadness over the series being over? I couldn’t tell you.

- This fucking soundtrack excuse me. The orchestral opening piece? BEAUTIFUL. I want to choreograph a ballet to this. Or do the TikTok twerk challenge to it. Idk.

- I’m actually kind of sad that this was the last movie and it hasn’t even started yet. Most of the plot is shit and smeyer wrote some horrible garbage, but I want more of this universe. Can some of y’all who are creative write the next book and not be racist or sexist? Thank you.

- Fuck this part of the soundtrack I’m literally going to cry.

- I can’t believe smeyer produced this movie. Who let her?

- When Bella opens her eyes that shit makes me want to be a vampire @Carlise.

- Her first instinct is to grab Edward’s arm I’m crying. They love each other so much and it’s so fucking pure. I hate how they look at each other. It makes me sick but it’s all I want.

- This is the most relaxed Edward has been in any of the movies.

- LITERALLY HOW COOL WOULD IT BE TO SEE A FLOWER BLOOM LIKE THAT?!?

- I WANNA JUMP OVER A DAMN WATERFALL

- I actually feel really bad for this deer and I wish they did eat mosquitos :(((((

- Edward’s so proud of her for her control. He loves her so much.

- OMG I FORGOT SHE SAVED THE DEER WE LOVE TO SEE IT SAVE THE DEER BELLA

- aww fuck no now they’re gonna talk about the imprinting bullshit. I won’t even comment on this because y’all already know my thoughts. We hate it and we hate canon and smeyer is fucked up for what she wrote.

- Carlisle looking fine as fuck as usual, thank you. I don’t love the hairstyle here, but he’s still fire.

- Rosalie looks so happy and we love to see it. She deserves it.

- EMMETT AND ROSALIE ARE INSTIGATING THIS FIGHT AND AS FUCKE UP AS THIS STORYLINE IS I LIVE FOR THEM BOTH AND I LOVE IT LMAO

- THE WAY JACOB SAYS “OH” SENT ME THE FUCK LMAOOOOOO

- Emmett loves this fight and I love Emmett

- Damn Edward’s actually openly being turned on by something for once in his life

- The Loch Ness monster line isn’t that funny anymore tbh. I did not laugh.

- There was a lot of quivering.

- Bella literally said we’re gonna keep going for the rest of eternity.

- Everyone knows when they get back. So far, Emmett is my favorite in this movie lmao. Even Carlisle who’s always sick of his kids’ shit cracked a smile.

- Poor Charlie. They’re about to tell him she died and they’re all moving.

- Jacob’s about to go tell his secret to Charlie and then shit gets lit. I remember this part now.

- Taylor deserved an oscar for this scene. This movie might have been trash, but his conversation with Charlie deserved all the awards.

- “Jacob put your on clothes on” fucking SENT ME LMAOOOOO.

- Charlie’s so confused, poor man.

- Jacob straight up invited Charlie over with no warning while Bella was a newborn vampire lmao.

- I LOVE ESME AND CARLISLE SO MUCH

- The way Carlisle opened the door and said “Hello Charlie” did something to me. I wish my name was Charlie.

- Charlie’s so happy to see Bella though. I’m happy Jake told him tbh.

- Poor Charlie now he’s all upset because he saw Jacob turn into “a very large dog” and he’s concerned about what this means for Bella.

- She finally called Charlie dad and hugged him like she loved him.

- EDWARD TOLD CHARLIE THE TRUTH THAT RENEMEME WAS THEIR DAUGHTER HOLY SHIT I FORGOT

- Emmett really is my fave in this movie lmaoooo.

- Everyone is laughing and smiling instead of being all depressed. We lov to see it. This is my favorite scene in any of the movies now.

- When Bella said she was born to be a vampire, it would’ve been way more effective to start playing “Born to Die” by Lana Del Rey tbh.

- Irina’s about to go tattle-tale to the Volturi. Tbh I’d be pissed too after what those racist fucks did to Laurent. He wanted to join the Cullens and adopt their lifestyle. And by racist fucks, I mean smeyer and the writers of the screenplay.

- Aro is such a dramatic bitch.

- Carlisle could read me the damn phone book and I would listen.

- Honestly smeyer is fucked up the fuck up and I’m starting to think she nejoys writing about children losing their childhood. The immortal children storyline is one of the most fucked up parts of canon and we really need to expose it more.

- Carlisle and Esme are so damn cute.

- Uh-oh Sammy boy’s there. Jasper and Alice just bounced? I completely forgot about this.

- The fucking volvo.

- Okay SUPER BIG FUCKING PLOTHOLE HERE. So when they were in Alaska, Edward basically said Renememe had a beating heart so like, wouldn’t the Volturi be able to hear it? Wouldn’t that end the battle before it ever started? Smeyer really just wrote shit without thinking it through lmao.

- We hate to see all the cultural appropriation but we love Rami Malek.

- Senna and Zafrina are STUNNING and the fact that Smeyer wrote them as being anything else is a fucking crime.

- I don’t remember this Garrett hoe but I’ve seen a lot of memes about him so I think he’ll be my second fave in this movie next to Emmett. He’s high key a bitch though for treating people how he did.

- Yeah, I’m with Jacob on this one. The red-eyed bitches don’t need to be killing people. ALSO FUCK SMEYER’S RACIST SHIT AGAIN. MORE WOLVES DUE TO MORE BIOLOGICAL WARFARE THIS IS BULLSHIT SMEYER.

- Garrett really fell in love with this bitch Kate and said idc what you do to me, just do it.

- HOLY SHIT THE NEW WOLVES ARE KIDS KIDS. THEY’RE LIKE 6 OR 7. Y’ALL. WHAT THE EVERLIVING FUCK??? GOING BACK TO WHAT I SAID ABOUT THE IMMORTAL CHILDREN THING. THE POINT STILL STANDS.

- Vladimir and Stefan are EXACTLY the vampires I’ve been waiting on. OVERTHROW THIS MONARCHY OLD ASS SHIT AND FORM THE DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT. This scene made me like Carlisle slightly less, but in my headcanon he did want to overthrow the Volturi. I would still stare at him all day and listen to him read the phonebook. But he could’ve been a little more badass. It wouldn’t have hurt.

- Edward actually grew a pair and asked everyone to fight.

- Is Aro’s hair different in this movie? It looks different and I kinda love it.

- I hate the Volturi and all of them for varying reasons, but I do love Aro’s dramatics.

- Emmett is living for Edward being shocked by Kate which is why, again, he is my fave in this movie lmao.

- Bella reading to Renememe is the sweetest moment in this movie and it deserves more love.

- “Yeah I just do it so much better.” This cocky bastard.

- FINALLY. HE ADMITS HE UNDERESTIMATES HER. THANK YOU HOE.

- When Jake and Bella are laughing together it makes me smile. It’s so genuine.

- Sue knows what’s good. I can see it in her eyes lmao.

- Alice was smart af though for hiding that clue for Bella.

- JENKS. That’s the dude’s name that makes the fake IDs.

- “Unusually well-preserved” that’s one way to put it lmao.

- This is so sad. Bella thinks she and Edward will die.

- LOOK AT ALL THOSE BENJIS SHE’S STUFFING INTO BACKPACKS@ BELLA PLEASE PAY OFF MY STUDENT LOAN DEBT

- Alistair is such a bitch. Why is he even here?

- This little house looks so cozy for Christmas. This is all I want.

- I love the Clearwater family so much and they deserve nothing but our love and respect.

- I FUCKING LOVE GARRETT. “NAME ANY AMERICAN BATTLE I WAS THERE.” LMAOOOOO

- “No one does rebellion like the Irish.” I love this guy too lmao.

- DAMNNNNN 1500 years waiting on revenge?????? They really could’ve overturned the Volturi in favor of a democracy but Carlisle was too damn diplomatic. But he’s still my fave.

- They did Kristen’s eyebrows dirty in this movie.

- Garrett loves Kate so much and it’s so pure.

- Emmett and Rosalie look so sweet.

- “THE REDCOATS ARE COMING” LMAOOOO I REALLY DO FUCKING LOVE GARRETT AN AWFUL LOT.

- Look @ the Volturi dramatic asses wearing cloaks and shit. Hoe. It’s the 2000s. Not the 1600s. Fix your shit. If a human saw you, you’d expose the secret you’re supposedly trying to keep.

- When Carlisle raised his voice though.

- BUT THIS IS THE BULLSHIT I’M TALKING ABOUT SMEYER PULLING. TALKING ABOUT HOW RENEMEME HAS A BEATING HEART. BITCH. THE VOLTURI WOULD’VE HEARD IT AND KNOWN. NONE OF THIS FUCKERY WAS EVER NECESSARY. SMEYER’S ASS IS MORE DRAMATIC THAN ARO, AND NOT IN A GOOD WAY.

- Bella tried to shield Edward but it wouldn’t stretch all the way to where he was :(((((

- I deadass would not let my child anywhere near Aro period. It would’ve been on sight at this point and the Volturi would’ve been cleared out for democracy.

- I wish Edward would just punch this hoe.

- OH MY GOD I FORGOT ABOUT THE LAUGH THAT IS THE FUNNIEST SHIT

- Jacob seems more concerned than Edward and Bella and that’s really a problem for me. Her parents should’ve torn Aro a new one and that’s on period.

- Alice and Jasper save the day.

- This whole fight scene is intense but I already know that none of it really happened and it was all a vision so I’m kind of just tuning it out lmao.

- Y’all weren’t playing. When they get Seth that shit really does hurt.

- Alright I’m over this. They’re dragging it out. I’m fast-forwarding lmao.

Ummm. So I really thought I would hate this movie. It is mostly problematic as fuck. But some parts of it were good. Like it had funny moments and sad moments and simp moments and it was not awful. Content wise I rate it like a 3/10. Overall rating I give it like an 8/10. If smeyer’s fucked up shit didn’t get in the way of the movie, it could’ve been a 10/10.
