a/n: this is my first christmas as a jewish convert so that's been weird. anyway I just wanted something quick, so its mostly a list of gift ideas (:

America

Alfred is SUCH a huge Christmas fan. I mean, canonically he dresses up as Santa, so he goes all out for the entire month of December. He's been working on a huge holiday home display for decades, and it shows.

He plays Santa at his local mall during the weeks leading up to Christmas; and on the night of, he hands out hot cocoa outside his house. It's fun, but it also means he's a little distracted when it comes to you.

What he would get you: Posters of your favourite movies, super comfy pyjamas, expensive figures of characters you like, candy you like but never get for yourself, model planes or Legos for you two to build together, novelty pens, a stupid cowboy costume so you can match <3, those handmade coupons because he 1. Loves you and 2. Forgot about Christmas until yesterday

What he would want: Any video games, Funko Pops, vinyls of music he likes, those big packs of shirts (he is constantly running out of shirts because he rips or irreparably stains them,) Marvel comics, anything with an eagle on it, those mini wacky waving inflatable tube men things, bulk pens and pencils because he also breaks those constantly-

England

Arthur is not big into Christmas and never has been. He'll celebrate with you, but he's not going out when it comes to any aspect. If anything, he finds it a little exhausting getting gifts for everyone

But, he does adore walking around and looking at all the lights. He'll do that a couple times with you in December.

What he would get you: Any novel you’ve mentioned even once, tickets to a concert both of you will enjoy, classy jackets that fit you perfectly, cute keychains, fancy art supplies, fragrances that remind him of you, bags/purses that fit your style, CDs

What he would want: Sewing supplies (thread, new needles, new fabric scissors,) framed photos of the two of you, Doctor Who merch, foreign tea, a book on how to take care of your eyebrows properly (he will not learn otherwise,) slippers, those sarcastic magnets that all millennial women have at least one of, any ridiculous piece of merch with the union jack on it

France

Francis has very mixed feelings about Christmas. On one hand, he hates how consumerist it has become, but on the other hand, nothing makes him happier than seeing the joy the season brings to others.

Plus, he does enjoy giving and receiving presents. The music too? Wonderful. As long as you don't get too stressed out, the holiday should be perfect.

What he would get you: Tons of clothes; stuff that's already your style, and completely new stuff, room decorations (NOT posters,) a reservation at a nice restaurant, bracelets that he made for you, makeup (if you like that kind of thing,) candles that smell like his cologne, CHEESE

What he would want: Fancy fabric, any clothes (he doesn’t care what they are as long as you think they’d look good on him…) paintings or photography, literally ANYTHING creative you’ve made, hair ties (he loses at least 5 a day,) bird stuffed animals, (Basically anything! Francis is not picky)

China

Christmas is a new occurrence for Yao, and he isn't the biggest fan. He'll buy you stuff for it, but he would do that normally. The lights and the music aren't anything special to him either. Basically, he won't celebrate unless you want to.

What he would get you: Elaborate, very expensive jewellery, huge stuff like a car, Chinese cookbooks, traditional clothes that he made specifically to represent you (: luxury handbags (that he got at SUCH a good discount,) tons of weird off-brand merch of your favourite show, probably a nice meal too!

What he would want: Yao is hard to buy for. Soft robes, stuff to help with back pain, face masks, Hello Kitty keychains… reading glasses maybe?

Russia

Although he isn't as excited about Christmas as he is about the New Year, he still loves the holiday. It's a nice excuse to see family, and everyone is just so happy around the season! He's especially excited to celebrate it with you.

He's not the best at giving gifts, but he could be worse. Regardless of whether you like all of it, you're gonna get a lot of stuff.

(Also, he plays Santa for the kids sometimes. It's so cute-)

What he would get you: Random knick-knacks he probably found at a local market, knitted hats and gloves in your favourite colour, a scarf to match his, tickets to go somewhere warm on vacation, stuffed animals! books that made him think of you (usually philosophical or religious novels,) pretty rocks (:

What he would want: SUNFLOWERS! (This works for every occasion,) baked goods, clothes that aren’t 250 years old- new doilies and paintings to decorate his house, pictures of yourself, friendship bracelets, stuffed animals, if you can make a scarf somehow, DO THAT

North Italy

Feliciano cares about Christmas in a more religious way, but he's never mad about getting presents. So, he'll probably spend most of the day in church, but he still did put a lot of effort into getting you stuff you love.

What he would get you: Pajamas & bath robes, shitty romance novels that he wants you to read, weird hand-made knick-knacks, makeup, strange mugs that he found at a thrift store, a painting of you (: probably a pair of his boxers-

What he would want: New paint brushes, novelty pasta shapes, fancy jackets, any art that you’ve made (regardless of quality,) cat stuffed animals, The Ability To Get A Grip, skincare products, shiny garbage (For art purposes, duh,) those handmade coupon things

Germany

Ludwig does not enjoy Christmas particularly. He's terrible at giving gifts but he wants to so desperately that he spends all of winter stressing out about it. Yes, he's excited to see your reaction to his gifts, but at what cost?!

Although he does still like all the decorations at least. Maybe he just likes re-decorating though.

What he would get you: Puzzles you can complete together, soft sweaters, practical stuff you need (like book bags, lens cloths, that kind of thing,) stationery, reservations for private tours at museums you would find interesting, a subscription to whatever silly service you want (:

What he would want: Books about city planning, nerdy card games, a fun lanyard, a new coffee machine, those aroma-therapy diffuser things, household tools like vacuums and stuff (Get him an air fryer. He’s going to be fascinated.) stress balls, pens (He is boring.)

Japan

Kiku really has no particular feelings towards Christmas. If you weren't there, the most he would do was put up a mini tree. He's stressed out by both giving and receiving presents and is only willing to do that kind of thing if you want to.

What he would get you: Electronics, merch of your favourite Sanrio character, books that he thinks you’ll like, stickers, a bento box, comfy sweatpants, cute hairpins, plushies from your favourite media, a bunch of pillows, some obscure Japanese snacks too!

What he would want: Miku figures, posters, video games, manga, general nerdy stuff, history novels (he likes to correct them,) blackout curtains, cute face masks, a Polaroid camera, a guide on socialization (Seriously.) a knit scarf, if you can knit (:

South Italy

Romano desperately wants to care about Jesus more than getting gifts. He's a devout catholic, g*ddamnit! But... he does just really love eating baked goods and getting gifts more than anything. Getting together with family, the music, the lights, he just ADORES the holiday.

What he would get you: Blankets and pillows, your favourite snacks, clothes that are a little more revealing- cruise tickets (if going on wouldn’t be hell for you,) a journal where he wrote down all of the things he loves about you (completely honestly,) religious items, fancy perfumes

What he would want: Paintings from local artists, post-its (so he can finally remember SOMETHING,) anything with the Italian flag on it, stupid bumper stickers, pictures of the other nations that you’ve written insults on, fancy patterned scarves and fabric

Prussia

Like Alfred, Gilbert loves Christmas in a very childish way. He embraces that side of himself during the holidays and he'd love it if you joined him in that. He constantly insists on going out to see the lights, and he just can't get enough of Christmas movies. Even the bad ones (He's a Hallmark girlie.)

What he would get you: A vintage music box, hair dye, DVDs of your favourite movies (just to have,) stationery, random snacks he picked up from a gas station an hour ago, weirdly sentimental jewellery? Vintage journals, pictures of himself

What he would want: Coupons (???) goofy temporary tattoos, metal CDs, tea (he’s weirdly embarrassed about liking tea and doesn’t buy it for himself?) vintage maps that he can frame and hang up, probably like, WD40? DC comics, novelty trophies, Pokemon cards, video games

Canada

More than anything, Matthew loves winter. So, therefore, he loves Christmas! Seeing you smile when you open your gifts, he looks forward to it all season. It seems like the only time of year when everyone else is either as miserable or as happy as he is, so it's his favourite holiday.

Cuddling up in front of the fireplace with hot cocoa, watching some old Christmas movie, its all he wants.

What he would get you: Comfy hoodies, comfy slippers too, hot cocoa packs, big stuff like a new PC or fridge or smth- decorations for your room, face masks, fidget toys, novelty Canadian keychains, figures of your favourite characters, festive sweets (like candy-canes and stuff.)

What he would want: Anything with a maple leaf (yes, he wants MORE of that,) boring stuff like socks, wood-working tools or like a new snow shovel, fairy lights, DVDs (because he still uses them? Why.) a new phone case, gift cards (HES BORING,) pre-packaged crafts, lotion and cologne that smells like pine

I have gotten many many many asks today about this particular situation. I don’t have time to reply to everyone at this moment, I appologize. ❤️And I also do not have my cards with me at the moment. However, I still want to comment a few things because I can feel the stress this is causing some of my readers. I feel the collective energy and worries.

I myself am still firm in my reply as to they have ended things. I pulled some cards of this a while back and I believe I said things ended right about the time Paris Fashion Week ended, actually a little before that. But it also can be around December. I stay firm to that reply.

I also said eventhough they end things, we will probably not know of it until months later. And form KJ side, they will still make it seem like they are together.

But to be fair, I also don’t want to say: I am absolutely right and always right. There will always be a possibility I am wrong. I do not want to get anyone’s hopes high. And we should ‘t really pray upon anyone’s misery such as a break up. But this has never been a real relationship. It was a hookup turned into a pr show. So I am even unsure about when I say things ended, that might lead to someone actually believing they had a thing for real.

So just to say a few words in comfort, I want everyone to trust their guts, stay calm and think a little about this:

- if it was indeed a real relationship, wouldn’t we have seen more candid photos accidentally snapped by fans or someone from the street? Two young people dating would be all over the place, resturants, concerts, movies, shopping, walks in the park…etc!

- the few times we have actually seen them together were always in arranged settings with lots of cameras. How does this apply to a couple in love wanting to be lowkey? And when they come out as a couple, why go in hiding when events over? Does it make any sense?

-every allerged sightings of them spread on internet were never proven by photos. But by robot accounts, telling a story. And no one else ever validates those stories but this one storyteller. And they are always very much about they are all over eachother, they look so good, they are so in love. Like why does anyone need to sound like they are convincing anyone?

-remember the Kardashians run many media and social media outlets. When I recieved these asks I had to go online to see what you are talking about, this award show. And from my knowledge Timothee was at the award show presenting an award and Kylie was there to recieve an award. They were invited for two different reasons. And now the tabloids are calling it a hot date! And Timothee being there to support Kylie. See hiw they manipulate the public into believing something that wasn’t the case? They did not even arrive or leave together. What does that say to you? How easy it is to make one thing seem like something completly different, right?

-In addition, Kylie was forward an award for her fashionline which she just launched, I think 1 day ago? This tells me she was not nominated, this award was purchased and paid for. This is planned. Her seat next to Timothee and at the same table as Martin Scorcese was probably arranged the same way. But did we see any loving interactions? Kisses? Hugs? Even a glance at eachother? No.

All I want to say is have faith and trust your guts. This is a media game. If someone is truly in love and truly a couple, there would be much less doubt. They won’t be trying this hard to show it off to the world. And they would be much more genuine and cozy around eachother. We would see more unstaged photos than actually staged ones. And no doubt, we can expect more to come.

hi maeby! its been a while, im sorry this took too long and I don’t know exactly when you’ll see this but know that i’m writing this on december 16 for reference hehe (this will essentially be a 2023 recap but ill try to be as short as possible)

last time i was here i think it was the end of june or beginnings of july and a lot has happened in my life, on august i turned 21 and i also went to the eras tour!! definitely one of the best days ever in my life and maybe top 3 on best days of 2023 🤍

talking about my birthday its little sensitive topic, for the past five years or so my birthdays has kind of been something that I’ve dreaded so much and i'm just the opposite of happy, its like those posts you see everywhere of people crying in their room during their birthdays and this year wasn’t the exception, this years birthday..lets just say it will be memorable but leaving that aside august was kind of okay

the concert experience may be on of my favorite memories just because it feel so cathartic, it was just so beautiful talking to strangers and us bonding over music and art, listening and singing to my favorite songs, getting to go to a concert for the first time on my own, traveling with my sister (just the two of us) for the first time, all the beautiful pictures and videos and people that i keep with me because of that one experience it just something that I will eternally be grateful for (also, so. many. friendship. bracelets.)

i remember looking back at my life and my lowest points in it and thinking (and hopefully it won’t get too sad) “well maybe someone out there was right, i just needed to hang on a little tighter, cause imagine missing out on this”

september was filled with delicious food and me going out a little more often

in october was my sisters birthday, so she held a halloween costume party and i got to dress up as an elf/fairy, i also went to one of my best friends birthday party and felt amazing seeing a couple of familiar faces after months, and some of them even years, waiting. also yes, this means i ate a lot of cake on october (my moms birthday was also on this month hah). i also took a ceramic class. i loved it (I made a small bowl :))

november i went out a lot, bought new clothes, bought christmas decorations, studied korean, went to the doctor cause i thought i was going to die (turns out im not, even far from it : im as healthy as a horse)

and as of december, planning christmas dinner with my mom and sister, got a bad haircut that made me cry so hard and then got it fixed at another salon, had dates with friends, retook ceramic classes (i made two cups, three heart shaped plates and a little jewelry organizer), scheduled one more therapy session before the year ends after months of not going, took more buses this month than in my whole life and i guess im slowly figuring out my stuff a little more.

i discovered new artists this year, feel in love again with old ones that I had forgotten about, learned new cooking recipes, got a little more out of the house than last year, made amends with my body and established boundaries even though it hurt :)

turning 21 this year essentially meant a lot, i don’t want to go into more detailed as to not make this any longer but lets just say im planning on getting 21 tattooed on my next year haha

i hope the rest of the year was kind to you, if you feel comfortable to answer with maybe your favorite parts of 2023 would be great! if not just know that i love you and missed dropping by here, hopefully starting 2024 i'll be back here regularly <3<3

it has been literally so long, i was taking a break from tumblr, honestly i didn't even think i'd come back but seeing this upon logging in literally brought joy to my heart knowing you're still around! :)

i've read everything, from your birthday to your christmas dinner with your mom and sister. starting with your birthday i'm glad that 2023 you had a memorable birthday after dreading it for so many years, and i hope 2024 also brings you joy! onto the concert next, i know exactly how you feel, it's something that you don't feel often and the crowds are just so amazing because it's people who share the same love for the same artist, and it's like you are in your own little world for a few hours. next, september & october, i'm glad it was filled with food and another birthday, it seems so fun to have a halloween themed birthday honestly!! november, i'm glad it was a good month besides the scary doctors visit >.< december seemed to have been a busy month for you, and hopefully your hair is okay now :( hopefully the therapy sesh went well. I'm glad your year was overall not too shabby, and I'm glad that you had a lot of character development. Hopefully 2024 brings you absolutely nothing but joy! 🖤

now onto my year, i guess i'll go with the highlights. i essentially had a relatively good year, i was able to do a lot of things, and uni was not too stressful, but it's a little harder this semester. starting with my august, i didn't do much except get ready for the semester, signed up for my september classes etc etc, it was relatively boring. my september was a little more eventful, i took a marine biology class which was so fun, and i'm not even majoring in marine bio, we got to talk about sea legends and a lot of the lore behind mermaids and other stuff. in october i did the same thing, but i made one of my best friends ever, except uhhh we're not really friends anymore as of recently, but my heart goes to them, they meant alot. in november i built a new computer, a little nerdy but i actually really enjoyed it except i had a mental breakdown trying to do cable management LMFAO 😭😭in december i had a good month, except the basement flooded so that wasn't very slay but regardless it was a good month filled with nothing but holiday spirit and gifts.

now with a short little update on my 2024, because it's been awhile. in january i went back to school for the second semester, and it's been tough i'm not going to lie. i also got a boyfriend so like !?!??! kinda crazy, he's not too bad but like every relationship we definitely have our downs. in february, it was a short month but nonetheless eventful this is the downfall of me and bestie tbh, but it's okay he was like a life lesson or something!?!?! now this month, it just started and it's been great, it's midterm week right now so i'm a bit stressed, but i also suddenly got motivation to go back on youtube and write on tumblr again, so i'm super happy about that :)

Phic Phight - (Not) The Star Of The Show

Being buddy buddy with a spooky singer and constantly being harassed by a teen in way over his head, was eventually going to result in Danny having to take the stage himself.

Danny nods, smiling a little at the bit of song he can hear being played for the waiting fans. “I’m surprised you’re still using that same old song”. She flips him off immediately, still using her other hand to get her makeup on just right, “it’s a good song and it works”. Danny just chuckles, not bothering to press. He knows there’s a reason she was big on everyone remembering her and whatnot but he didn’t actually know why. The why was definitely attached to her death though, so asking would be rude as shit; he’s not some human -cough cough Wes cough cough- who doesn’t understand you’re not supposed to press ghosts about their death. Granted it was kind of common knowledge she died in a concert fire but that was all anyone really knew. Same with how everyone knew Danny’s ass got offed but his parents' tech but not necessarily which one it was.

Ember nods at the mirror, pushing off and going to her wardrobe, grabbing pieces and turning around to show them to Danny, “what do you think, purple or red today?”.

“I’d say pink and gray, since the weathers very, you know, gray today”.

“You’re an idiot”.

Danny snickers, leaning against the makeup station, “but real talk, no cap-”.

She interrupts with a glare, “never say that again, I forget how young you are sometimes?”.

Danny flips her off for that, “hey nothing wrong with the youth, don’t trash your target audience. That just ain’t it. Anyway, you wear purple way too much, definitely the red”.

Her putting a hand on her hip, “You don’t think it’s too vampiric?”. Danny quirking an eyebrow right back, “and you don’t think the purple is too gothic romance?”. She makes a bit of a face before turning to put away the purple outfit. Danny turning around and walking off a bit to give her privacy.

She groans a little, “setting up tonight’s show was such a pain. All the restrictions and hoops you have to go through these days is awful”.

“You sound like a grandma”.

“Say that again and I’ll hypnotise you into doing the sprinkler dance on stage”. Danny giving her a scandalised gasp. “Hopefully everyone has fun though and pisses off their parents, fuck old people”.

“You are old people”.

“Don’t you dare. I own a lot of things with a lot of spikes on them”. Danny doesn’t say shit because he doesn’t feel like getting brained or something by a bracelet today. “That’s what I thought. Anyway, you better have a good time too, I heard the beer garden really sucks at checking ids this year”. That makes Danny a happy Danny. “I’m absolutely saying you should sneak in and…”.

Wes was making a damn point to tiptoe as much as he could, he knew ghosts had freakish hearing so he had to be careful; hopefully the music blaring would drown his footsteps out some. See he’d come up with a plan the second he’d heard about Ember -who was definitely a ghost- throwing a concert near by Amity, she was known for her voice and guess who else also had a powerful voice? That asshole Danny. So he figured that if he could get a good recording of her voice without being distorted by a microphone through an ecto-vocal vibrations absorption meter, he could then compare it to a reading from Fenton and maybe layer it to pick up that stupid wail of his. Proper proof. And he could get more info on a ghost that parades around the human world pretending to be human. Expose the dead singer too.

Poking his head around the slight door opening and aims the device at the singer, good she’s gabbing away, to herself or someone else he doesn’t care. “Franx even got a new drum set and reprinted sticks, the crowd’s going to love the-”; and bam he cranks the device making her choke a little… and then she practically kicks over the privacy screen -fully dressed at least- and glares murderously at the door attempting and failing to verbally snap at him.

Alright… he hadn’t meant to straight up take her voice! He blames Danny for this and whatever is about to happen to him!

And then Danny pulls him through the damn wall, what is he doing here! And in his startlement one Wes Weston accidentally hits the expel button right at Danny.

Danny blinks down at mother fucking Wes oh that little asshole holy shit who just did… something? to him and who had just stolen Ember’s voice or something. Who steals someone’s voice before they’re supposed to sing at a concert?!? The fuck is wrong with this guy! The fact that both him and Ember’s ecto-fields flair for a beat before disappearing again is ominous as fuck though.

“Tͭhͪeͤ f̾uͧcͨk̾ dͩiͥdͩ y̾oͦuͧ dͩoͦ, Weͤs̾? Whͪy̾ aͣrͬeͤ y̾oͦuͧ eͤv̾eͤn̾ hͪeͤrͬeͤ?!”, then blinking, why the fuck did he just speak with a goddamn harmony and bass boosted? And then a ghost emoji-shaped guitar appears in the air with a little poof and smashes him on his head; it had some concerningly familiar dials.

Ember blinks, balls her fists, and glares even more murderously, loudly snapping, “how DARE YOU MESS WITH MY POWERS!”, said snapping promptly turning into a ghostly wail that fucking obliterates the door and knocks Wes backwards. Danny scrambling over and slapping a hand over her mouth.

Wes is now unconscious… and the device thing he must have used on them is smashed to bits. Ah shit.

Danny takes a bit of a breath, “Iͥ’mͫ g̾oͦiͥn̾g̾ tͭoͦ k̾iͥl̾l̾ hͪiͥmͫ”, fuck his voice sounded weird. Ember grumbling, quietly, “do it”, and yet there’s still a slightly wail style shaking to her voice.

Danny eyes her, a bit fucking miffed actually, “whͪy̾ cͨaͣn̾ y̾oͦuͧ aͣcͨtͭiͥv̾aͣtͭeͤ mͫy̾ waͣiͥl̾ b𞀓eͤtͭtͭeͤrͬ tͭhͪaͣn̾ Iͥ cͨaͣn̾. Tͭhͪaͣtͭ mͫoͦtͭhͪeͤrͬf̾uͧcͨk̾eͤrͬ s̾waͣppeͤdͩ oͦuͧrͬ v̾oͦcͨaͣl̾ poͦweͤrͬs̾ oͦrͬ s̾oͦmͫeͤ s̾hͪiͥtͭ. Hͪoͦw dͩoͦ Iͥ mͫaͣk̾eͤ mͫy̾ v̾oͦiͥcͨeͤ s̾tͭoͦp dͩoͦiͥn̾g̾ tͭhͪiͥs̾”.

But she just starts snickering before falling to her knees and laughing into her hands, tearing up a little form laughing too hard. Which juts results in Danny bending over laughing too. Eventually she gets a hold over herself a little, whisper talking, “I’m- I'm vocally trained to throw my voice, makes it too easy”, touching her throat and sitting up straight, “I can tell it’ll tear up my throat though”, and glares at Danny, “I need my throat”.

Danny cringes a little, “y̾eͤaͣhͪ iͥtͭ k̾iͥn̾dͩ oͦf̾ s̾uͧcͨk̾s̾”, and then points at his mouth. She rolls her eyes at him, “your vocal control is too shit to stop”. He flips her off before walking over to the thingy Wes had and picking up the bits, “tͭhͪiͥs̾ iͥs̾ tͭrͬaͣs̾hͪ”.

She pushes herself to stand up, putting a hand on her hips and walking over, looking down at the unconscious boy, “think he can fix it”.

At least it sounded like they were still playing her prerecorded music and Phantom wasn’t being just shoved straight into the spot light. And at least she didn’t have to worry about the royal ass getting stage fright or some shit.

Was Danny happy about this? Fuck no. Could he do this though? Fuck yes. It’s incredibly obvious the crowd is a little not impressed but considering more than a couple people mutter ‘at least he’s hot’, he’s got something of a chance at least. Danny walking out with a wave and flipping off the crowd when some roll their eyes or walk further away from the stage to talk to friends or pick up chicks or get a drink, “am I what you came for? That gets him some laughs and some people actually come back towards the stage. He spots at least two people buying a drink and just fucking dumping it on themselves. Nice. That’s Ember’s crowds for you… when she wasn’t mind controlling people anyways. Punks and goths and metal heads and the occasional raver; there was a couple of kandi kids even. “Everyone here loves Ember right?”, getting a fuck ton of cheers, “so everyone knows Remember right? Note if you say you don’t I’ll find something to hit you with”. That gets more cheering but one guy actually does say ‘I don’t’ and Danny throws a whole ass stained old curtain at him. “So I figured if do y’all a fuckin’ favour and start off with one pretty damn similar. Ember grins at the sensation of a ridiculously overwhelming amount of power perpetually building in her chest and throat disappearing. She gives the ginger fuckface a thumbs up, since she can’t fucking speak again, and grabs his arm; dragging him and his stupid device out of the dressing room and booking it towards the actual concert area.

(Wes did not have the sense to flee and as such did, in fact, get pelted by bar limes; the manager chose to ignore the ‘assault’ as the boy called it and did not call the cops/kick Danny out).

Lancer sighs, seeing an email come in from Daniel. Shakespear knows what this’ll be about. He’s not too surprised it starts with ‘so I won’t be handing in my homework…’ Lancer probably had around fifty-nine emails from the boy starting with that exact same line word for word. Lancerhas a lot of questions with absolutely no expectation for any of them to get answered. Definitely up there as one of the odder ‘excuses’ he’s gotten from the boy; at least there’s proof. Well… he’s certainly proud, Daniel was pretty good and he went with songs that weren’t lyrically vapid. What kind of English teacher with a love for theatrics and poetry would he be if he didn’t support this? A poor one. So Lancer‘s reply is a very supportive one, and a thank you for the heads up about his homework.

Chinese 'Swifties' shake it off at Beijing watch party

BEIJING

Waving glow sticks, and wearing sequin dresses and friendship bracelets, Chinese fans of American pop sensation Taylor Swift turn a normally-quiet Beijing cinema into a raucous celebration of their favorite singer.

The 14-time Grammy winner this month kicks off the Asia-Pacific leg of her "Eras" world tour with dates in Japan, Australia and, in March, Singapore.

She won't, however, be stopping off in China, where she has a devoted fan base.

"She might have more fans in China than all her followers on Instagram," 31-year-old auto industry worker and superfan Flora Sun told AFP.

A bold claim -- Swift has 280 million followers on Instagram.

But the devotion is definitely intense, and fans hope that by packing out cinemas with wild watch parties for her concert film, "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour", they can convince her to come perform.

"Today is the eighth time I have seen the film," 28-year-old educator Qi Yi told AFP at a recent watch party in the Chinese capital.

Wearing a silver sequin dress resembling one of Swift's concert outfits and holding a silver microphone, Qi said she was "really happy" the film was being shown in China.

Fans know every song by heart, belting out the lyrics word for word. Many have the number 13 -- Swift's lucky number -- in temporary tattoos on their hands.

There are in-jokes aplenty: references to Swift's public spats with mercurial rapper Kanye West and even a special "Eras" currency.

"I go to the cinema every weekend to watch it," said 25-year-old Mu Guangyuan, dressed in a purple-and-black graduation robe mimicking one Swift wore when she received an honorary degree in 2022.

He and his friends held papers proving their status as graduates of Taylor Swift University -- with a degree in "Doctor of Swiftie".

Mu told AFP he's been a fan for 15 years -- and that he is going to Singapore to see her next month.

"I'm really looking forward to seeing her," he said. "I also really hope that she can come to China and meet us Chinese fans."

More than 1.8 million movie tickets have been sold since the concert film's release in December -- making it the highest-grossing music documentary in China with 93 million yuan ($13 million) in earnings.

Fans said they would see every one of her gigs if she made it to China.

"Be it Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou or Shenzhen -- wherever Taylor Swift holds her concert, I will go and watch every one of them," one 22-year-old fan said.

Not everyone is so optimistic that she will come to China.

Jess Wang, a megafan who has seen Swift perform in the United States, said she believed that authorities would disapprove of the American superstar's progressive politics.

Her open support for LGBTQ causes, her decision to work with dancers who do not conform to traditional gender roles and "revealing" -- by Chinese standards -- clothing could all land her in Beijing's bad books, Wang argued.

"I don't think Taylor Swift's team would risk censoring (those things) just to get the approval."

And for her fans, that message of openness and good vibes is what they love about her in the first place.

"Taylor Swift gives me positive energy, which helps me to work hard", student Liu Jingyi said. "She gives me a lot of strength."

Start of May - mid May 2021, (released August 3, 2021): Run 145 is filmed, which is a continuation of Run 120-121 that aired on December 15 and 22, 2020. The members must travel back in time to the Joseon Dynasty to find the headstone.

Tae is already in character and starts a monologue -

I’m not a student of the Korean language but based on Tae’s pronunciation, and the similarity to Yoongi’s quip, it seems as if “did you ask me to forget” and “two trillion” are similar in Korean.

At Yoongi’s joke, the members laugh, with Jk looking to Tae and scrunching his nose.

Succeeding in their individual missions will unlock their respectively assigned abilities, so as members look for the missing headstone piece, they also are on a search for the tools that will aid them in unlocking their mystery abilities.

Tae starts by gathering the scarves he sees (part of Jk’s mission). He also collects Jimin’s flowers and Jin’s puzzle piece.

A little into the game, Jungkook ends up running into Tae, who waits for the younger, who asks what he’s doing.

Tae turns over the scarves he’s found (Tae also gives Jimin his flowers later on so it can be deduced that Tae is helping members with their missions).

Tae has earned Jk’s trust, and Jk extends his hand out, to which Tae takes, briefly holding hands.

The royal army has spotted them. If caught by them, the member must complete a penalty. Jk and Tae take off running before Tae decides to “fight”, staying in character. Tae, in a scene reminiscent of Run 32, distracts the army and, in doing so, protects Jk from getting caught.

Jungkook intends to wait for Tae so they can continue on as a duo. He asks the film crew if it's an individual mission, and upon realising it’s not a penalty but just an individual mission, he still decides to wait for Tae. Tae, however, is still in the dark about the “penalty” and hence encourages JK to go,thinking he is protecting him. This explains why Jk is hesitant to leave as opposed to Tae who insisted on helping to protect Jk and encourage his escape.

Keep in mind, Jungkook makes it clear in this episode that he’s going to complete his personal mission independently, forgoing teamwork, unlike some other members who believe teaming up is wisest.

The fact that he waited for Tae shows that Tae gained his trust and he was willing to team up and not work as an individual. It should be noted though, that as the mission progressed, Jk was open to teaming up with others, as he inquired with Jimin about a puzzle piece he found (which was part of Jin’s challenge).

Another thing worth noting is Jk was really cagey about what his personal mission is. This is understandable since three members are thieves looking to sabotage the game.

Interestingly, though, Tae seems to be aware that the scarves correlate to Jungkook’s individual mission. It’s speculative if Jk told him or if he just deduced (remember he does comment upon handing the scarves to Jk “you’re the painter”, which implies he just was able to just discern for himself, independently, that the scarves correlated to Jk). Remember, while the audience was clued in twice as to what each person’s challenge was, the members seem to be in the dark about each other’s individual missions (going off of Jimin’s conversation with Jungkook). You decide if this is important.

The first two scarves Jungkook finds are purple and green. This is more than likely coincidental, since it’s random luck which scarves he encounters first. Something changed after Jan 2014. Harry changed. Jeff more in the picture. Enter Kendall still hanging by. Minimal Larry interaction. Something happened. Harry's entire look and persona changed. I always thought it was the time that Harry matured and wasn't naive or wide eyed anymore.. More closed off before cameras. Maybe Larry also had some fights, obviously like any couple. What are your thoughts about it??

ok 2014. I've been meaning to make a masterpost about this so thanks for the question.

So 2014 was the Where We Are tour, and the boys were all severely overworked and it SHOWS. Niall lost weight, Louis and Harry both look starved, and Zayn is horrifyingly skinny.

They look on the verge of passing out during this entire interview especially Harry and Zayn.

Zayn was ~rumored to be~ struggling with a drug problem and anorexia during this time, and dealing with his own range of drama but I'll keep this on Harry/Larry.

Obviously an easy explaination for the decreased Larry interaction is that they were broken up. And its very possible they are/were an on again/off again couple and 2014 could have been an "off" period but 2014 is also when

Harry got the anchor corresponding with Louis' rope (January)

Harry gets the heart (February) and Louis gets the arrow (March)

The christ-the-redeemer trip where Harry and Louis are heard kissing in the bread van and this picture is taken where they seem like theyre holding hands (May)

Harry goes to Jay's wedding (July) and holds onto the wedding bracelet all the guests had for the rest of the year, even after it broke.

Louis gets the dagger (November).

Harry sings "Night Changes" directly at Louis during both the Graham Norton Show and the Royal Variety Show (December).

There are a lot of little things/speculation in between but these are the big things I think definitely prove they were still more or less "together" throughout the year. The months we saw virtually no Larry interaction at all were from end of May to End of October, with the major exception being Harry publicly attending Louis' mom's wedding.

It kind of seems like the wedding was a big deal to management (even though I don't think the fandom saw it as proof of anything as much as they were happy to see it happen). But it kind of seems like Louis and Harry had to pay the price for this one because there was a big eleanor presence in the month or so leading up to it whereas before she was barely seen all year apart from one publicized ski trip in February before WWA kicked off. But from the 1st of June until Jay's wedding on the 20th of July, she and Louis were papped twice in paris and once in portugal, she went to 5 or so concerts, she was spotted leaving his hotel twice, she was spotted eating lunch with Louis and Lottie, Louis attended her graduation, Louis took her out for her birthday, and *drumroll please* it was announced Eleanor would be Jay's maid of honor (she was actually just a bridesmaid so they played that one up for the media).

They also brought Paige back breifly in the days leading up to and after the wedding with her posting pics of herself in Harry's clothes on instagram, them attending a party together, them going out to lunch with jeff and the mirror reporting they were dating again.

Meanwhile apart from the stunting, the fandom as a whole was FREAKING TF OUT over the video that was "leaked" at the end of May of Louis and Zayn smoking weed (coincidendally two days after the European leg of WWA had started) and we were being bombarded with articles about bad boy Louis and Zayn, and how perfect 🥰 harry 👼🏼 was 😱 totally 😵 offended 👎🏼 and 😤 against 🙅🏻‍♂️ Louis 😖 and Zayn's 👿 drug addict 🤢 ways 😒.

This wasn't the first time we saw articles about Louis and Harry no longer being friends, but this was definitely a new angle that started to separate Harry and Louis because of an actual reason and it was the beginning of Harry's image being separated from the other boys.

As far as Kendall goes, Hendall seems to have wrapped up in Februrary and then she disappeared for the rest of the year in typical Harry-stunt fashion. Nothing strange there. And when he did hang out with her Jeff was always there. Harry's most prominent "relationship" in 2014 was actually Nadine which didn't even start until December.

Jeff and Harry were definitely attatched at the hip right from the beginning of January for sure. It's not unlike Harry to be like this with new friends though, and he was the same way with Grimmy during the years before.

Jeff is a special case too becuase he's very connected in the industry so I think Harry felt safe with him and it might have comforted Harry to have someone like that he could trust looking out for him. I think Jeff was maybe helping him navigate his way around the utter PR nightmare that was his public image too. He certainly had a lot less "womanizing" stunts in 2014. Jeff might have even been talking to him about taking a break from the band, since 2014 is supposedly when Harry suggested hiatus.

As far as Harry's "look" goes he's literally been changing it every single year. 2010-2011 was baggy pants abercrombie and jack wills. 2011-2012 was the blazers and bowties and the fetus harry hair. 2013 was take me home/fratboy harry. headscarf harry was 2013-2014 until he started wearing those fedoras, then that was his look for a while as his hair grew out and he started wearing the unbuttoned shirts and took on a more hipster/rockstar aesthetic. then he started with the floral shirts and the skin tight jeans leading up to the floral suits and it went from there. Like I said it's never been weird for Harry to completely change his look in a whim. We literally have grandpa harry now.

His persona changed too but really it's not that strange considering he was entering is 20s, 2013 had been hell for him and Louis, he was so overworked that he was probably getting burnt out on the positive side of his life (making music and performing) and starting to resent the negative side of it even more.

As far as being more closed off in interviews, he was probably sick of them since they all ask the same questions and there wasn't much he could say that he hadn't already said. At this point if he'd been in a relationship with Louis for four years then he wouldn't have many anecdotes or side interests that didnt involve Louis or their private life on some level so he might not have had much to talk about. Try to avoid saying "my boyfriend" when you're talking about your life after you've been together for years and years, it's not easy. And he obviously learned the hard way that every thing he says on camera will follow him forever so I think he forced himself to stay quiet rather than risk letting something slip.

In my opinion, overall things weren't really that odd during most of 2014 until november/december when they started Four promo. They were touring most of the year so their lives were pretty out of the spotlight apart from the occasional stunting and Harry hanging out with Jeff in his free time. The changes we saw were typical of someone his position.

I think there were some power struggles behind the scenes based off their little rebellions during WWA ("i have a secret", refusing to deny larry twice when asked directly if there were rumors they wanted to clear up) and 2014 is when RBB started (though i think it was just for fun at the time). Jeff might have been encouraging Harry to stand up for himself against his management or at least teaching him that he didn't have to take everything lying down and he did actually have some leverage.

Jeff also might even have been priming him to go solo and if Louis and the boys suspected Harry was being eyeballed for a solo break out there might have been some tension and I'm sure Louis at least thought that's what was going on. But I don't think it's something they would have broken up over considering at the end of the day Louis has always been supportive of Harry.

I will say that 2015 was one crisis after another though and i think at the end of 2014 we saw that ball start rolling because all the boys looked strung out for the majority of Four promo and Harry was kind of being rebellious as far as maintaining his hetero image with comments like "not that important" and "dont knock it til you try it".

Anyways thats my thoughts on it. I am intoerested to know what you think changed though ?

~ seokjin ~

Seokjin would definitely make a whole day out of cooking Christmas dinner. Waking up early to get all of the items he needed at the grocery store, you would have to fight back laughter as your boyfriend came stumbling through the front door with an armful of groceries and a santa had precariously perched on his head. Kissing your cheek as you helped him chop veggies, Seokjin would end up making a flawless Christmas dinner for the both of you, probably getting a little tipsy in the process. Crashing on the couch, you would both groan about how full you are, falling asleep while watching some sort of Christmas special. A good gift idea for Seokjin would be a nice cologne you picked out and a new kitchen appliance or cookbook. He would get you some clothing that you pointed out while shopping with him, and probably some nice jewelry he put thought into like a charm bracelet where he was able to pick the beads that went on it.

~ yoongi ~

Yoongi would buy tickets to see a Christmas show; most likely an orchestra. A lover of all things musical, you would get to see just how much the music effects him, a small smile never leaving his face the whole show. He would probably buy the CD they offered after the show was over, playing it in his car the entire holiday season. After the show, if it wasn’t too cold he would take you walking through the park, arms linked as you looked at the lights together and talked about your hopes and goals for the new year. Yoongi is a pretty sentimental guy, and would adore anything you got for him on Christmas. However, he would particularly enjoy a selection of CD’s you picked out for him and a framed photo of the both of you to keep in his studio. Yoongi would definitely make you a modern mixtape in CD form, but probably an assortment of other things like a few poetry books and a necklace with his birthstone as well.

~ hoseok ~

Hoseok would probably throw a Christmas party with you, inviting close friends and family. You two would have a blast decorating the house before the event, both of you wearing hideous Christmas sweaters. During the party, you played Christmas music to which he sings loudly to, thoroughly entertaining your guests. Truthfully, having a blast with you, friends, and family is all Hoseok could ask for and more during the holidays. Managing to steal you away from the guests for a little while, you would giggle as he dragged you under the mistletoe, almost taking your breath away as he kissed you. Hoseok would love something like a series of movies he could watch with you, as well as tickets to see a dance show or a concert. Hoseok would search for your Christmas gift well before December even came, probably finding some unique jewelry for you at a craft fair you went to in the summer. He would also get you some clothing pieces, inspired by his own urban street style or something delicate he saw that made him think of you.

~ namjoon ~

Namjoon would want to spend the entirety of Christmas holed up in your apartment. You would do everything from wrapping gifts (him failing miserably at it) to eating way too much store-bought gingerbread and watching Christmas movie after Christmas movie. He loved spending time with you like this, hearing your laughter as you enjoyed the holiday together. Namjoon would end up chasing you around the house as you wrapped his gift, trying to convince you to show him by smothering you in kisses. Namjoon would really love a selection of books from you, especially ones based in philosophy or other non-fiction subjects. He would also love an album that he was anticipating for a while, or anything music related. For you, your cheeky boyfriend would almost certainly buy you the finest lacy lingerie he could find, in an assortment of gorgeous colors. Namjoon would get you perfume as well, spending a long time selecting the perfect one.

~ jimin ~

Jimin would want to go out on Christmas. If there was snow on the ground, he would take you outside to build a snowman or take a short walk around where you lived, admiring the snow. Later on, you could count on Jimin to have made reservations and an amazing restaurant months prior to Christmas Eve. A hopeless romantic, Jimin would make you feel like a princess as you both dressed up to go out, holding your hand as you walked down the street and listened to carolers on your way to the restaurant. Jimin would love anything you got him, but would especially like something such as a nice piece of jewelry (a ring!) and some gourmet chocolate for good measure. Always seeking to please, Jimin would spoil you with something you have always wanted but only mentioned in passing. He would also adore giving you pretty jewelry, especially something like a diamond promise ring or a bracelet with your birthstone set into it.

~ taehyung ~

Taehyung would want to watch every single Christmas movie and special known to man. Curled up in your living room, a pile of blankets covered the both of you as you sipped hot chocolate. When he finally got tired of that, Taehyung would switch on the Christmas music and try to get you to sing along. He would probably buy one of those kits where you could build your own gingerbread house, still singing as you both miserably failed at building the house and settling for just eating the gingerbread. Taehyung would love anything from his favorite designer, whether it be jewelry, clothing or shoes. You could also get him a framed piece of artwork or a new lens for his camera to satisfy his artistic side. As for you, Taehyung would spend a long time trying to find the perfect gift for you. He would settle for a few items of clothing and jewelry from your favorite designer, as well as some silky pajamas that caught his eye in the lingerie store.

~ jeongguk ~

Jeongguk would want to bake Christmas cookies with you. A sucker for baked goods and actually a skilled cook, he would enjoy nothing more than baking for you. Jeongguk would adore it if you helped him make the cookies as well, both of you wearing dorky Christmas headbands as you worked. You both would be covered in flour by the end of the day, mountains of sugar cookies, snickerdoodles, and gingerbread men laid out on platters as you both stuffed yourselves with them. Kissing your flour-covered cheek, he would thank you for all your help, attempting to feed you just one more snickerdoodle. A bit of a health nut, Jeongguk would probably love some workout gear you got for him, like nice sweats and tank tops. He would also love a selection of manga or a new pair of shoes that you got for him. Jeongguk would probably get you a selection of perfumes he couldn’t decide between; and a low-key romantic, a locket with a picture of the both of you inside.

The Avengers spending the holidays with you would involve:

Steve Rogers x Reader-

Steve both loves and hate the holiday season- mostly because he has bittersweet memories of how he used to spend Christmas as a child, and how the people he used to spend time with are no longer around.

But, also he enjoys making new memories with you.

He’d lowkey spoil you, even though you would tell him not to buy you loads of gifts.

You’d listen to stories of Steve’s past Christmas and follow some of his traditions that he use to do- and you’d also teach him some new holiday traditions to bring him into the modern festive spirit.

Their gift to you: Steve buys you a locket and you of course immediately add a picture of you and Steve inside.

Your gift to them: You buy him a new sketch pad and pen set, because despite the fact he says his old note pad isn’t falling apart, it is.

Tony Stark x Reader-

Without a doubt, Tony is always up for a party- and Christmas is of course no exception.

Every year that you’ve been with him, he’s dedicated Christmas Eve to just the two of you; he’ll happily spend the whole day with you and do whatever you want to do. You love the attention he gives you and its a nice break from your busy schedule.

However, on Christmas day, the true party begins.

The party he throws is wild, and full to the brim with everyone you know and love- loud music, lots of food and of course loads of drink.

With Thor not being from Earth, he can have some trouble understanding the holiday period, but he is willing to learn everything from you- in fact, he quite enjoys it.

You think it's quite adorable that he’s so excited about it all- but Thor’s favourite part of this time of year is the food.

It isn’t quite a banquet on Asgard, but he could eat your cooking every second of every day; he especially loves all the puddings and he secretly admitted to you that they’re better than pop tarts.

Thor even helps you through the most stressful part of the festive season: present shopping.

On any other day, Bruce would prefer a moderate lay in, but you won’t let that happen because its Christmas! And, because you love spoiling Bruce, you always have his present ready when he wakes up.

Your boyfriend has great trouble picking a perfect present for you; you deserve the world and he is determined to give it to you.

Taking a break from the rest of the Avengers towards the end of Christmas day and relaxing in yours and Bruce’s room and snuggling with each other.

Your gift to them: You give Bruce tickets to go on a luxury holiday, as you decided your boyfriend deserved a well earned rest.

Natasha Romanoff x Reader-

Despite her toughened exterior, Natasha is honestly a softie when it comes to the holidays.

One of her favourite ways to spend December with you is snuggled in bed watching cheesy Christmas movies. While she usually doesn’t appreciate food in the bed (crumbs), Tasha makes an exception for Christmas.

You also have a tradition of going away for a short break just before Christmas, usually a city break to get away from the stress of both of your lives; your favourite place to go is Budapest.

Natasha is a romantic at heart and also carefully selects your presents.

Their gift to you: Natasha buys you a new bottle of perfume that your mother used to wear when you were younger; it reminds you of home even though it's so far away.

Your gift to them: You get Natasha and yourself matching charm bracelets, with a pendant for each year you’ve known each other.

Clint Barton x Reader-

Clint can sometimes be as excitable as a child, and you love to do all the silly things you can at Christmas.

One of the things Clint and yourself have started doing around winter is going to ice rinks and trying your best to skate around without falling over; you go for hot chocolate after to mend any egos or physical wounds.

Your boyfriend is actually an amazing gift giver and you’re 99% sure he can read minds- that or he goes to Natasha and begs for her help with picking a present.

He swears he doesn’t go to Tasha, so every year you are left in awe at how perfectly he picks your present.

Their gift to you: Despite the fact you never mentioned it to him, he bought you a vinyl record player and your favourite albums on vinyl.

Your gift to them: You know its cheesy but you bought him a custom quiver, with the help of Tony who made it very high tech. It also has his initials inscribed on it.

Sam Wilson x Reader-

Despite Sam being a bit of a flirt, after he gets into a relationship with you, he is completely in love and wants to spend every moment he can with you- the holidays are no different.

You always joke with Sam about the fact that you are his present for Christmas- but this year you took the teasing to a whole new level by getting festive themed lingerie and surprising Sam with it after he comes back from a mission.

Sam loves it more than you’d expected and Christmas certainly was memorable.

But, besides that, Sam is a big romantic and loves to spoil you with gifts and surprises at Christmas.

Their gift to you: Sam treats you to an all expenses paid trip to a spa for a relaxing weekend.

Your gift to them: It was originally intended as a joke, but you got him a necklace with a falcon on it- Sam ended up loving it as wears it most days.

Peter Parker x Reader-

Peter loves Christmas and it’s his first Christmas where he’s had a S/O (significant other) so he intends to spoil you rotten.

Although he’s just a student, and has a student budget for your Christmas presents, he still wants to do everything he can to give the world- and you appreciate every effort he goes to, no matter how small.

He is very nervous about spoiling Christmas with you, so he goes to everyone he can to get advice- Aunt May, Ned, Tony and even MJ... They all give him conflicting advice, but in the end he just goes with his heart and hopes for the best.

You see how nervous Peter is, so you suggest instead of doing something fancy like going out for a meal, you stay in on Christmas Eve and watch films on the sofa. He enjoys that a lot more.

Their gift to you: Peter gets you tickets to see your favourite band in concert and promises to buy you whatever merch you want.

Your gift to them: You get tickets to go to the largest science convention in the US because you want to indulge Peter’s nerdy side.

Wanda Maximoff x Reader-

Although Wanda doesn’t celebrate Christmas*, she does like to indulge in some of the non religious traditions of winter- like festive hot drinks, baking cookies with you and participating in snowball fights.

She experiences her first white Christmas with you and she loves the snow more than she thought she would.

You both run out (after wrapping up in many layers) into the snow and begin having a snow ball fight which slowly descends into making snow angels and snow men.

For once, Bucky sleeps in on Christmas morning- usually on missions, he never gets to rest, and despite it being Christmas, you can’t bare to wake him up because he’s so peaceful.

When he wakes up, you are snuggled to his side and he already knows that he has the greatest present he could ever receive: you.

Their gift to you: Bucky use to know how to charm a dame with classic gifts like roses and chocolates, and while times haven’t changed that much, he wants to do something special for you so he gets you a new camera so that you pursue your love of photography. And the polaroids you take of you and him are admittedly adorable.

Your gift to them: For Christmas, you repaint Bucky’s arm with colour patterns and memories about you, Steve and the others. He really appreciates the small gesture and knows from that moment you’re the doll for him.

Loki Laufeyson x Reader-

Loki doesn’t understand Christmas, and if it wasn’t for you, he probably would have never tried to understand it; Thor has tried to explain Midgardian customs to him many a time, but you’re the only one that he listens to.

If he’s being honest, he only goes along with holiday traditions because he loves to see your face light up with your gorgeous smile.

Loki prefers holidays like Halloween and April Fools, but he does like the gift giving part of Christmas as well as all the excuses he gets to hold you close in the cold weather.

12 Days Of Christmas: Proposal

A/N: I know a lot of you probably won’t see this because of the tragedy of Jonghyun and this more than likely won’t be as good as the other imagines because of that. He was my bias in SHINee and he was one of the first people I saw in concert so my heart is breaking and I have been sobbing but, I’m here for anyone who needs someone to talk to, all of our Admins are, we will be there for anyone who needs help or just wants to talk, we want you to know that.

You were waiting for your boyfriend to get home on Christmas from practice. Yes, regardless of the day your boyfriend, of 3 years, had to go and practice. You were cuddled up on the couch with your dog and a cup of hot chocolate while watching Elf by yourself. You told Moonbin that you were going to wait for him to watch it but you just couldn’t hold back any longer. You heard keys and then the front door being opened, you turned off the TV and yelled, “I didn’t watch it without you I swear!” The front door shut and Jinjin walked in, “Uh, I’m not going to ask.” You looked at Jinjin with confusion, “Jinjin not to be rude but, why are you here and where’s Moonbin?”

Jinjin said, “Don’t worry. He’s just planning something for you.” MJ came around the corner and said, “Annyeong Y/N! Could you do me a huge favor?” You set your hot chocolate down, “Wait, why are you here? Why are you guys both here and my boyfriend isn’t?!” MJ held up a beautiful dress, “Will you put this on for me?” You got confused and you were going to say something but MJ pushed you into the bathroom and shut the door behind you and he said from the outside, “Don’t come out till you’re done.” You were so confused that you pulled out your phone and texted Moonbin, *Why are the boys here and you aren’t? What’s going on?!* He texted you back shortly, *Don’t worry about that just trust them and do what they ask. Please. I love you* You sighed and you decided to just listen and you put on the dress and you smiled as it was really gorgeous and you decided to do your hair as well. Your makeup was already done and once you were done you walked out and MJ and Jinjin were now watching Elf. You crossed your arms and went next to them, “What’d you think you’re doing?” You asked smirking. They jumped when they heard your voice but Jinjin turned off the TV and said, “You look great.” MJ stood up and grabbed your hand, “Let’s go!” He pulled you to the door, “Wait MJ!” He just pulled you into the car. Once you were in the car you looked at MJ as Jinjin drove off and you said, “MJ! I’m still in my bunny slippers!” MJ smiled and said, “Sorry.” Then he continued to look forward. You rolled your eyes and you soon arrived to a field.

Once you got there Eunwoo was there and he opened the door for you and he held out his hand for you to take. You grabbed his hand and he then shut the door and changed to his arm and you grabbed his arm and you asked, “Eunwoo what’s going on?” He ignored your question and he said, “December 10th, 2012.” You looked at him and then you said, “Eunwoo what-”

“The day he met the love of his life. He didn’t know she was the love of his life yet. But he knew she was special.” You were now curious about what Eunwoo had prepared, “December 25th, 2014. He kissed the love of his life for the first time. He didn’t know why he did it, he didn’t even know if she liked him back he just had to do it. So he did.” You smile remembering that day and how all the ASTRO boys came over to celebrate Christmas with you, “December 25th, 2014 is also the day that he got the love of his life in his arms. She was now his, and he knew he couldn’t let her go.” With that Eunwoo stopped and he handed you a bracelet and he helped you put it on and it had charms on it that said 10 and 25 and a heart charm in between the two dates. You smiled and Eunwoo nodded and smiled as Rocky appeared next to you and he held out his arm, “Rocky you’re my best friend tell me what’s going on. Please.” He just smirked and said, “February 6th, 2015. The day that him and his love got into their first fight. She went and stayed with her best friend because she couldn’t face him after he had forgotten her birthday the day before.” You looked down and walked with Rocky as you remember that sad day. You missed him more than ever.

“July 4th, 2015. The love of his life and him took a trip to Disney Land. There, they watched the fireworks together and he even got his first taste of jealousy.” Rocky said. You giggled as you got remember Moonbin going back to the hotel all upset with you and you went with him only to find out that he was jealous of the guy who you were talking to while watching the fireworks, regardless if Moonbin had his hands around your waist and his head on your shoulder the entire time. Rocky then said, “Lastly, December 25th, 2016 for their 2 year anniversary he showed just how much he loved her. If you catch my drift.” You just covered your face in embarrassment from that heated night you remember.

The next thing you know Rocky stops and pulls out a necklace and he shows it to you and it just has a heart with an ‘M’ in the middle of it. You smile and Rocky puts it on for you as you hold your hair up to not let it get caught. He smiles once he clips and it and he comes to face you and then he escorts you up the hill and you see Sanha and he is sitting on a stool with his guitar and there are lights hanging and Moonbin is standing there in a suit and he has his hands behind his back. Rocky nods to you and you go to Moonbin, “Did you do all of this?” He smiles and nods, “Yes.” You smile and ask, “Why?” He simply says, “It’s our anniversary.” He hands you roses and you smile and take them from him, “Thank you. But for our anniversary we just exchange gifts. This is a little bit much don’t you think?” You giggle a bit and he just shakes his head, “Not for this.” Sanha starts playing his guitar as soon as Moonbin looks at him. Moonbin grabs one of your hands and he gets down on one knee and you realize what is happening so you begin to tear up.

“Y/F/N Y/L/N. I have loved you since December 10th, 2014. The day I first met you and I have loved you and will always love you from this day forward with all my heart. You are so important to me and I think that you’re an amazing person. You always lift me up when I’m down and you know how to make me smile every single day without even doing aegyo.” You laugh a bit and you let him continue, “I believe that with every single piece of my soul and body that you are the one that’s meant to be with me forever. There will be days when we fight, there will be days when we cry and when we laugh. But I don’t ever want to face another day where I can’t call you my wife. So Y/N,” he pulls out a box and he opens the black velvet ring and he says the words, “Will you marry me?” You smile and nod while crying. He smiles and puts the ring on your finger and he picks you up hugging you. Then he kisses you with the most passion ever and you can’t help but laugh as you hear Sanha yell, “Yay!!! I’m so happy!!! Moonbin hyung is getting married!!” Moonbin smiled and put you down after releasing the kiss. The other boys joined you up on the hill and smiled and then Moonbin said, “One more thing.” You looked at him and he asked, “Why bunny slippers?” You sighed and looked at MJ with a face, “Your friend here pulled me out of the house before I could change shoes.” MJ laughs for a bit and then he says, “Well, she was watching Elf without you!” With that your jaw dropped and MJ ran for his life. Moonbin gasped, “What?!” You looked at him nervously and laughed a short nervous laugh before running after MJ yelling, “Kim Myung Jun you’re dead!” Moonbin laughed and Rocky said, “You’re marrying my best friend. She’s kind of crazy. I hope you know that.” Moonbin smiled a loving smile and said, “That’s my favorite part.” With that all the boys ran after you just to see you tackling MJ. They laughed and you looked at them and you smiled, you looked at Moonbin and he was just looking at you with love in his eyes and you just knew that you were meant to marry and love this man forever.

Anyone that knows me, knows that it’s no secret that I love Katy Perry.

When her tour was announced, she wasn’t coming to North Carolina. That honestly didn’t surprise me as we usually don’t get big acts to perform here. I acted fast and figured out that I would be able to see her in Atlanta nearly 7 months away from the date I purchased tickets.

Fast forward a month or so later and Katy had announced a Charlotte date. I was ecstatic! The concert would take place the week of my birthday and I was going to take one of my best friends with me to finally experience for herself what I had talked about nonstop. I was able to score dropzone (pit) tickets and had started planning, making sure that I would have the best birthday yet.

...that was until the concert was cancelled because of a scheduling conflict. Cancelled. Not rescheduled. Just cancelled. I was devastated. It may sound silly, but birthdays are not something I look forward to and this one was a BIG birthday. I remember celebrating my 21st with Katy, and thought it was awesome that I was going to be able to celebrate another milestone birthday with her. It was just my luck that this had happened, but fortunately I would still be able to see her in Atlanta.

Two weeks before the show, I entered a contest through her fansite. Entering was easy, all you had to do was leave a comment and from there 5 winners would be picked randomly. Simple as that.

A week before my concert, the winners were to be announced at 10 am. I didn’t receive an email, but it was okay. I had a fair chance just as everyone else did and knew that whether or not I won, I would have the time of my life at her concert.

Four hours went by. I was standing outside with my camera in my hand when suddenly my phone (that was in my back pocket) started to vibrate. I pulled it out and looked down, seeing the email notification. I had won a meet and greet.

My heart dropped to the ground. Was this real life? I couldn’t believe it. I immediately walked back to my house and started checking Twitter to make sure that I had in fact won. I saw that because of two generous Katycats who wanted to spread the love, two more winners were chosen and I just so happened to be lucky enough to be one of the two.

I will be forever grateful for those Katycats, the girls at katycats.com who run the website and organize things like this, and for Katy Perry who wants to meet as many of her fans as she is able to.

I wanted to tell my mom (who I was taking to her first Katy show!) in person but I couldn’t keep the excitement to myself any longer. I told her about 2 hours after I had found out and literally had no idea what to do with myself next.

The week leading up to the concert went by so fast. I stressed nonstop about random things but at one point said “It feels like I’ve already met her so I don’t know why I am so nervous.” - more on this later.

On Tuesday, December 12th, my mom and I loaded up my VW Bug and we were off to Atlanta Georgia. The drive took us almost 4 hours and once arriving at the hotel, the nerves started to flood back. We ordered room service where I picked over my salad and couldn’t eat, because let’s be honest, I hadn’t eaten much in that week leading up to this day. My anxiety was at an all time high.

We went to the arena around 6 pm and picked up our meet and greet wristbands at the box office and instructions on what to do next. We waited with everyone with anticipation to be taken backstage.

The meet and greet room was so welcoming and fun. Pop art on the walls, a candy bar, the Witness album playing on a loop in the background, lip couches and cool furniture, an arcade game, and a photobooth. I met with a bunch of other KCs who also expressed their nervousness and excitement over meeting Katy.

Katy (aka Latey) was running late, but we were informed she was on her way and would be there soon. The minutes building up to her walking in the room felt like an eternity. The group of Katycats stood back at the end of the line, as we were the last to meet her. Katy walked in and the whole room cheered.

I have seen Katy in concert numerous times before, but I had never been in the same room in an intimate setting like this with her. This caused a flood of emotions. I kept thinking how much this woman and her music means to me. She has been a part of my entire adulthood thus far, and has given me so much to look forward to over the years when I felt like giving up. Meeting her was at the top of my bucket list.

It was time for the Katycats to meet her, and none of us wanted to go first. Too many of us wanted to go last. It feels like a blur thinking back to it. I waited my turn and she walked towards me. I had a gift and card for her, and the guys that we all know as “the twins” who conduct the m&gs, said “I’ll take that”, referring to my hands being full. Katy exclaimed, “No, I want it!” and went in for a hug as she held her hands out to take her gifts.

The conversation started out something like this…

“Hi, nice to meet you. What’s your name?” “Hey, I’m Brandy.” “Brandy. Have I met you before?” I shook my head. “No, this is the first time.” “That’s weird because I feel like we’ve met before.” So, remember a few paragraphs ago when I said that it had felt like I had met her before so I wasn’t THAT nervous? How strange is that?!

She was so easy to speak to and listened to every word I said. I gave her an egg plush dog toy for her dog, Nugget, and as she asked what it was, I showed her pictures of my first KP concert. “Shut up! The angel egg.” She then said, “But I didn’t do that here…” and looked confused. I told her, no it was in Charlotte and that I am from North Carolina. I went on to show her more pictures from the concert and she zoomed in on her nails. “I want to see my nails. Those are my Tokyo nails.”

I told her I was a photographer and was so proud of those since I had just started out taking photography seriously. She scrolled through my pictures and I told her that she can see that my photography has improved since then and she agreed saying “You should be proud of these. You have some nice shots here!”

She then opened a small box that I had given her containing a bracelet I had made to commemorate the Witness era. I told her that I made it and make jewelry and she said “Girl, look at you go!”

Time went by so fast. I could’ve talked to her all night if time allowed. She is so down to Earth and nice. We took a few pictures and then she snatched my phone from my hands to take a few selfies. I thanked her and then it was all over. Time to gather my things and go find our seats.

Katy came out on stage about 20 minutes later and as usual, put on an incredible show. She acknowledged me a few times as I stood in the audience watching in awe. (I’ve always said you’ve never really been to a concert until you’ve been to a Katy Perry concert.)

During the acoustic part of the show, she sang both “Wide Awake” and “Thinking of You” as she floats above the audience, getting closer to ones who aren’t seated so close to the stage. After “Thinking of You” ends, she speaks about seeing a shooting star and how you are supposed to make a wish when you see one. She then asks if anyone would like to come on stage and make a wish.

Katy noticed a young boy shying away from all of his friends pointing at him, waving their hands, and jumping up and down while trying to get Katy’s attention. She invited him on stage, and at first I think he was too nervous, so he hesitated. Once he realized the opportunity he was presented with, he took off running towards the stage.

Katy welcomed him with open arms, asking his name and how old he was. She asked Jameson what he wanted to be when he grew up and he said “A superstar, like you.”, which made a smile come upon my face. Katy asked him what his one wish would be and he immediately replied without a pause with “A lot of world peace.” The audience cheered as Katy was taken aback to hear such a request from this young soul.

I later found out more about Jameson which made what Katy did even better. Jameson, 13, has autism. Katy did not know this when inviting him on stage. His mother, Amanda, told me that Jameson has made so much progress through the years from being a shy little boy hiding under a chair during his brother’s pre-k performance to actually going on stage himself, with one of the biggest stars in the word in front of 10,000 people.

You could see the shock, excitement, and happiness on his face and so many people were equally as happy for him that he was chosen to go on stage with Katy.

Whether she realizes it or not, Katy has had a positive impact on many lives. Many know her as a quirky pop queen with positive, upbeat songs with extravagant fashion sense. Katy is so much more than that. I hope she knows how much she is appreciated and loved by her fans. This was by far one of the best days I have ever experienced and I am so thankful for all she does for the ones who support her.

JJBA Twisted Destiny Chapter 1 - Johana Joestar

He strikes late at night. His target, a pretty young woman with brown curls, is walking home from class. He chuckles to himself as he thinks about what he’s about to do. Quickly, he moves from the bushes, drawing his knife and lunging at the woman.

She runs, screaming as loud as she can. He doesn’t mind; he expected her to run. She dashes for the nearest building, hoping to get away. That’s when she steps into his trap.

Her foot falls into a slipknot made thin string, so thin that she can barely make it out. She falls to the ground and feels a creature crawling on her back, creating more string and binding her limbs. Suddenly, she feels very, very tired. As she slips from consciousness she looks at her back, at the creature tying her up, and sees nothing.

He walks over to his trap and smiles. The creature abandons the woman and returns to its master, taking its place on his shoulder.

Our story begins in the summer of 2011, in the City of London, on a swelteringly hot day. A young university freshman sits in the stuffy office of one of her professors, a small windowless room filled with bookshelves overflowing with old tomes. She wipes a few drops of sweat from her brow and regrets her decision to wear black. She’s been sitting in the office for ten minutes now, watching as her professor silently flips through an old history book. Then she notices it, an ice cold can of soda sitting on her professor's desk next to a tuna sandwich. Beads of condensation drip down from the can and plop on the professor's wooden desk.

The student glances at her professor, who is still enthralled by his book. Slowly, she reaches for the can of soda. The ruler moves faster than the eye can see, bursting through the air and striking the student in the hand the moment her finger touches the can. The student glances up at the man holding the ruler, her professor with an angry look on his face. “I do not recall giving you permission to touch my belongings, Miss Jonestar,” he says. “In fact, I recall instructing you to sit here quietly while I finished reading this passage, an instruction you seem incapable of following.”

“Joestar,” the student mutters.

“Excuse, me, I didn’t catch that,” the professor says. “Speak louder when you’re spoken to.”

“My name is Joestar, sir,” she says.

The professor rolls his eyes. “Oh, I’m so sorry,” he says, voice full of sarcasm. “Please forgive me for misremembering the stupid name of one of my countless students.”

The professor, an old man named Dr. Dre, is a tall, chubby man with horn-rimmed glasses. He wears a tweed jacket and a tie covered in the logo of his favorite soda brand. He has been a history teacher for thirty years now, a position he adores because it gives him a microcosm of power, a power that he enjoys abusing as much as possible, much to the dismay of his students.

He pulls the ruler back and discovers that Miss Joestar’s finger hasn’t moved from the soda can. She stares at him for a moment before slowly pulling her hand back. The professor rolls his eyes.

“You made me lose my place in my book, young lady,” the professor says with a scowl.

“I’m sorry,” Miss Joestar mutters.

“Now then, what was it that was so urgent that you felt the need to bother me during my lunch break?”

“Mr. Dre-”

“Dr. Dre.”

“Dr. Dre, I was hoping to talk to you about the recent exam.”

Dr. Dre scoffs. “Of course you are,” he says. “Every hour another one of my students comes here to complain about receiving a bad grade. It isn’t my fault that you children decided against showing up.”

“Sir, you changed the location of the test to a room on the other side of campus,” Miss Joestar says. “You also moved the time of the exam to six o’clock in the morning instead of noon. And you only notified us of this change two hours after the test ended.”

“Excuses, always with the excuses.”

“Sir, I was wondering if there was any way I could retake the exam, seeing as it is worth thirty percent of my grade.”

“Sucks to be you.”

Miss Joestar sighs. “I'm’ sorry to have wasted your time, sir,” she says before walking out of the office.

Professor Dre chuckles and grabs his soda. He pulls the tab and a torrent of soda bursts out, soaking his coat.

The Joestars. This proud clan of British aristocrats immigrated to the United States in 1892 and became one of the wealthiest families in the country after earning fortunes in the oil and real estate markets. Using this wealth, they co-founded the Speedwagon Foundation, a top of the line medical research organization. Unbeknown to most people, the true purpose of the Foundation is the study and acquisition of supernatural phenomena.

For generations, the Joestars have dedicated themselves to this purpose, transforming themselves into honorable warriors dedicated to the protection of the world. But, after more than a century of battles, the family has begun to dwindle.

Johana Joestar was born in 1992 to Foundation President Joshua Joestar. Johana’s childhood was dedicated to preparing her for her destiny as head of the Speedwagon Foundation. From the moment she was born, she spent every waking moment studying history, science, and mythology, as well as training in martial arts, so that she could one day protect the world, like every Joestar that came before her.

Johana rejected this path and ran away from home at the age of fifteen. Three years later, she moved to her family’s country of origin and began studying history at Lonely Castle University in London. She wants nothing to do with her family. But, destiny is a fickle mistress, one that few can slip away from.

Johana walks out of the class building. Her friend, a Japanese girl named Kan, is leaning against the doorway, strumming a guitar. “So, is Mr. Dre still a dick?” Kan asks.

“Unfortunately,” Johana replies.

“I had him my first semester. I remember one time, he gave us fifteen minutes to do a fifty-page test. One of the guys in my class actually started crying. Does he still drink that crappy knock-off soda, Sparite?”

Johana smiles. “Yeah,” she says. “Actually, I met with him during his lunch break, so he had a can with him. I shook it up while he wasn’t looking.”

Kan laughs. “You know, people say you’re an unfriendly jackass with absolutely no sense of humor, but you can be pretty clever when you want to,” she says.

“Who says that about me?” Johana asks.

Kan ignores Johana and places her guitar in its case. “I’m putting up flyers for the concert tonight, can you help me?” she asks.

Johana nods her head and Kan does a little victory dance. She runs off to the library to print off fliers, Johana following closely behind.

Johana Joestar and Kan Nijimura met their first week of college. Both freshman new to the country, the duo bonded and quickly formed an ironclad friendship in spite of their different hobbies and temperaments. Kan is boisterous, energetic, and quick to make friends. She has bleach blonde hair cut into a mohawk that hangs down over half of her head. On this hot summer day, she wears black jeans, a gold belt, a t-shirt with an infinity sign and a diagram of the evolution of man printed on it, black heels, a pair of spike covered bracelets, and a denim jacket. The left arm of her jacket has been ripped off, showing a variety of rock band tattoos.

Johana, on the other hand, dresses plainly, wearing a tank top, skirt, tights, and boots, all black. Her dark blue hair is pulled into a bun and a pair of glasses sit on her nose. She’s the quiet, studious girl who always sits in the corner of a room while Kan is the girl who yells out the answer before the teacher can even call her name.

As she chases after Kan, Johana flashes back to the night they met. She was walking home from class, late at night, when she saw a man in a ski mask following Kan, holding a knife in his hand. At first, she turned her head away and continued on her way, not wanting to get involved. Then she heard Kan scream.

She moved without thinking, dropping her books and running to save Kan. Johana jumped into action and kicked the man in the face. He dropped the knife and ran away while Johana tended to Kan.

Kan was fine, she’d screamed before the man could do anything. In fact, instead of being terrified like Johana had expected, Kan was starstruck. “You saved my life!” she said.

Johana blushed. “Well, I don’t know about that,” she mumbled.

“That was so cool! You came out of nowhere and beat the shit out of that guy! It was like something out of a kung fu movie.”

From that day onward, the two were inseparable. They ate together, they studied together, they even started living together during their spring semester. Johana taught Kan self-defense and Kan introduced Johana to her favorite bands. For the first time since she ran away from home, Johana had a friend.

“I think tonight’s show is going to be really good. We managed to borrow a small stage and some equipment from the music department, so it’s going to be like a real show!” Kan says while she and Johana wait for the flyers to finish printing.

“Show’s at eight thirty on the quad, right?” Johana asks.

Kan nods her head. For five months now, she has been the bass guitarist of a rock band she co-founded called Lifeless December. “Are you coming?” Kan asks.

“Wouldn’t miss it for the world,” Johana says.

They pay for the flyers, handing handfuls of change to a library employee with buck teeth who gives them a dirty look, and leave the library to go get lunch. As they walk through the college campus, they come across something rather odd.

A large white cocoon, as tall as Johana, sits by the doorway to one of the dormitories. “What’s this?” Kan asks while reaching her hand out to touch the cocoon.

Johana slaps her hand away. “What?” Kan says.

“Don’t touch it, it looks weird,” Johana replies.

“Okay, I won’t touch it. That doesn’t answer my question though. What is this thing?”

“It’s probably just a modern art exhibit or something. Best to leave it alone.”

As the duo walk away, Johana glances over her shoulders at the cocoon and feels an aura of menace that chills her to her bones. She knows that, whatever the cocoon is, it is evil, and she wants nothing to do with it.

When she walks into the school cafeteria, she sees something incredibly bizarre. A young man with blonde hair balancing with one foot on the back of a chair and the other folded over his waist. The young man wears a tight black tank top that shows off his toned body, dark green pants covered in white stars, a striped scarf covered in hearts, and a black beanie covered in four-leaf clovers. In his left hand, he holds a green banana. He taps it with his right hand and the skin of the banana turns yellow. He peels the banana and takes a bite.

“What’s that guy’s deal?” Kan asks.

Johana doesn’t say anything. She knows exactly what the guy’s deal is. It’s been years since the two saw each other last, but she’d recognize that dumbass smile anywhere. And, even if she couldn’t, she’d still recognize the star-shaped birthmark on the man’s left shoulder.

The man notices Johana and smiles. He does a backflip off the chair and walks over to Johana. “Cousin!” he says, arms spread for a hug.

Johana groans.

Sexy Zone - 5 colours ❤️💙💚💜💛

(this interview took place in December 2016)

Q1. What’s your favourite colour?

Marius: In our society pink is seen as a girly colour but I think there are also guys who like the colour pink. I have many pink things such as t-shirts, scarves, sweaters and files. Recently I like black clothes too. My fashion changes every day depending on my mood but I have many black basics so I feel like putting some colour on. My old clothes were really flashy but now my style became a little bit cooler. But when I started wearing black more, those people who praised my flashy clothes asked me „Marius, what’s wrong?“ and I was a little bit shocked (laughing).

Fuma: It’s black. I tend to buy black clothes. Recently all my clothes are black, from top to bottom and I like that style. Baggy sarrouel pants fastened around the waist with a string that is hanging down and on top an oversized sweatshirt with a leather MA-1 jacket. I might have a lot of fashion like this.

Kento: It’s blue. It’s various kinds of blue, like blue-black, light blue, sky blue, deep blue, water blue and so on. The colour resembles my emotions. If my day feels like a blue sky, it will be a sad blue, on a rainy day it will be a rainy blue, maybe I’ll wear blue earrings (laughing). Blue is an essential colour In many settings and I like it.

Shori: I wonder if it’s black. I often wear black clothes and when I choose my own clothes for my solo songs I make them black. I like black velours material especially. Sometimes we wear many dark blue accessories and small additions so recently I also really like light blue. However I cannot really wear accessories in winter. I’ll feel cold with bracelets (laughing). Then I also love colourful colours. Surprisingly I like the English garden and my mind feels relieved while looking at flowers and nature.

Sou: It is black since a long time ago already. Because it’s a manly and cool colour and I can see it perfectly. There’s also a dark image and I’ve always liked anime and drama with dark themes. I also like black because of that. I think I also have many black clothes. But recently I tried challenging other colours too and I tried wearing a pink t-shirt and a parka. I also want to try wearing pink pants. Because I want to be a fashionable leader I want to try out many things (laughing)!

Q2. To which colour do you compare Sexy Zone’s group personality?

Marius: Rainbow colour. Everyone has a different character and colour so it looks like a rainbow. I am the young brother in the group who has a cute character. Although I will be 17 years old soon. It’s so quick, right!? It will be my sweet seventeen in March ♡

Fuma: It’s white. Because I think it’s the colour that can be stained with any other colour. We don’t really have an image yet. Of course I think for the fans we have a cute image but since in general we didn’t soak in a certain colour, it’s white! Recently the atmosphere of the group is good. Everyone aims for the same destination and there’s a feeling that we’re going in the same steps.

Kento: It’s silver. I think our next goal is the gold medal. For now, I have a plan for myself. I want to master it to some extent until I turn 26 years old and when I’m 26-29, I want to walk on the strongest line. So, my 30’s might be a little simple, so I will pursue the core parts. Working as a director I also want to write an emotional story. Because I like making stories.

Shori: We often get this question. I said various things until now so there isn’t any variation anymore (laughing). But I think it’s difficult to express ourselves in one colour. Because every one of us has their own strong colour, I wish we could become a new colour called Sexy Zone. Compared to the old days every one’s colour became deeper and from now on it will get even deeper. Even so, I think we can have a good balance and I think that each member is interesting. Because Sexy Zone is a free and accepting group, I think it’s okay if we become whatever colour.

Sou: The current Sexy Zone is burning with a red colour. Towards our 5th anniversary, I felt like each of us wanted to become popular. Although it may be impossible to reach in an instant, we will steadily bring out our charms while walking towards our goals. We had more opportunities to discuss everyone’s opinions, so new ideas were born.

Q3. Which colour describes your personality the best?

Marius: Eh, I can’t decide for one! So, let’s go with green. Green mixed from blue and yellow. The reason is because I don’t want to be one colour. I have blue parts too because I have a colourful side. Also, my member colour is orange! Because I like orange fruits I also like this colour.

Fuma: It’s black. A colour that cannot be stained by any other colour, that’s the meaning. To keep on living. Of course I am able to take in other people’s opinions but I wonder if my basic thinking will ever change. About my member colour, I wonder if it’s pointless. My seniors have successfully adopted to their member colour and have their image but in Sexy Zone except for me and Shori, it’s kind of scattered. Also because there is no pressure when saying „I want to do this colour“ or „I was glad to be blue“, I’m thinking wouldn’t that be better? Our true colours are gradually coming out, so I think it’s better to not set for one yet.

Kento: I think it’s red. After all I always continue burning. I never once thought that I don’t want to go on. That’s why maybe I can think positively forever. Maybe my dream is too big. Because my conclusion is already decided, there is no choice for me but to burn. Of course I also become negative sometimes. I don’t mind it. In these circumstances, I try to consult my friends about my worries. Sometimes I’m told that I’m like an idol robot, but I’m also human (laughing). After all my fans’ voices give me the most energy.

Shori: It’s green. Because I’m preparing a play currently, it’s green with a relaxing effect. Just by doing a different type of work my feelings change a little. By the way, during that time Sou and Marius came to visit the play. Because they had some spare time they were in my dressing room the whole time. So these two ended up fighting, I don’t remember the cause because it was something stupid (laughing). At that time Kishi (Yuta) was there too and he said „Continue fighting, it’s funny!“ while laughing.

Sou: It’s white. My goal for my teenage years is to have my own outlook on the world. Therefore I hope my colour will be ready in the following year. To achieve that I’m interacting a lot with my seniors, I want to steal a good point from them. I got a birthday text from my seniors Massu (Masuda Takahisa), Chinen (Yuri)-kun and Nika-chan (Nikaido Takashi) who I want to get closer to. By the way the first text was from Ohno (Satoshi)-kun. We were talking about Bruce Lee excitedly. I was also influenced by my dad who likes watching his videos so when I told him that I started doing Kyokushin karate, he said „I’m not satisfied, you have to study more“ and gave me advices (laughing).

Q4. What colour are you feeling right now?

Marius: Black. Various feelings were mixing up inside of me so it turned black. Although studying for school is fun it is also hard, I have an exam soon so I want to do my best. There are worries and things I’m thinking about so I ask friends for consultation but I’m troubled... They say „Don’t worry!“ but I have worries so that’s not helpful! (laughing) When I see that a friend is in trouble I think I’d tell them „Yes, please talk!“. I’ll say something like „If you have something to talk about tell me, okay? It’s good to let it out“.

Fuma: I wonder if it’s black. (At the time this interview took place) I am wearing all black now, so I guess it’s black. When I get up in the morning and take a shower I think about „What should I wear today?“. That is really fun, I get excited! Today I’m wearing black crash skinny jeans and I decided everything else from that. These skinny jeans have a simple design but I wanted them for a long time so I treated myself a little. Even if it’s frustrating since the suitability is bad, I like it but I try not wear it too often (laughing).

Kento: I wonder if it’s grey. I was thinking about what will happen to the world from now on and also I have a stuffy nose, so my heart that has been pure white before turned a little grey!? (laughing) Recently while seeing a lot of dark news, I was thinking about how well off I am. So the theme of Arashi’s concert „Are you Happy?“, I thought that was nice, I was really impressed.

Shori: It’s cliched but I wonder if it’s pink. If speaking about LOVE it’s pink! When falling in love, I think I’m the type of person who is hard to understand. It won’t really show on my face or my mood. But secretly my heart is pink (laughing).

Sou: Golden! In the play in which Shori appears, „Johnnys’ All Stars Island“, when the curtains open, it is a happy feeling so it’s golden. However, I am a little worried. I wonder if his physical condition is okay and since he’s alone in his dressing room I wonder if he feels lonely. Because Shori likes mineral water, the next time I go I think I’ll make him a hydrogen kit and put it there. Q5. Which colour expresses your feelings when falling in love?

Fuma: Pink. It’s cliched (laughing). When I fall in love, I think I’m the type who is excited and motivated all the time. I’ll think about my partner all the time and I won’t be able to study and work properly, things like that. I’ll definitely have fun every day, so it’s always going to be pink!

Kento: Pink-red.When I love someone, I really only think about them. I think I’m the type who really works hard for romance. So, red is an intense colour because my dates will also be intense and long♡ Pink is because I will say sweet words. However, I have decided that I’ll never put my lover on any SNS. Because I think our relationship will go by too fast. I also wrote about this in an university essay.

Shori: I don’t really think I’m an amorous person. Regarding my appearance, nothing in particular will change. I will use polite words and I will talk in a calm way, so I feel like I’m looking for that in a girl too.

Sou: I’m the type who will turn blue even if I have a person I like. Rather than feeling merry, the feeling of insecurity will be bigger, so I’ll always be blue. I’ll be thinking about what if they might not fit with me and I’ll become frustrated. But right now I have many things that I want to do so there is no word called romance for me. Therefore in terms of a current colour, I’m colourless!

Q6. What is a sexy woman to you?

Marius: Someone who wears different fashion every day, someone who can show me a different side and I think someone stylish. I think that is the image of a sexy woman to me. When you always wear something casual but you dress up for a party or date. That would be pretty. But when it’s an ordinary date, you can wear damaged jeans and a hat since I like casual girls.

Fuma: I love sexy women. I’d like to date a sexy girl. Because I want us to become a cool and sexy couple. A girl who feels sexy about herself, the gesture of her going through her hair and a husky voice. Then, the best would be if she also has something cute about her like a pleasant smile.

Kento: I guess a sexy woman for me is someone who improves herself. For me, ZARD’s Sakai Izumi-san is the strongest woman but she also constantly improves herself while writing lyrics. I think people who pursue something in life are sexy. Because I do well when I’m intuitive and find a balance, I often don’t pursue everything. That’s why if you’re a craftsman who wishes to be an actor, don’t be affected if you look at other actors.

Shori: I don’t know myself. However, when Sexy Zone gathered their colours I wish we could be together. Me and the group are inseparable since we think about the same things. When I think about the things I want to do, I wonder if the group wants to do it too. We haven’t really decided the member colours. I am red and Fuma-kun is purple but the others are free. So I think our fans also have a say in it. It is unusual for a group to not have decided on their member colours. Maybe it’s bothersome for lineups!? Sou: A woman like Oguro Maki-san who was with us at „Music Station“. When the five of us were greeting her she said „It’s okay to greet me informally~“ and I was really shocked. When someone goes through their hair, I think that is sexy and cool. Because I like boyish girls I feel like I’ll find it sexy if she’s a cool girl.

Q7. Please tell us something recent!

Marius: I’m doing my best while studying for school. I like what I’m learning so it’s fun. On my free day I went to see the new „Harry Potter“ series with Sou-chan. Because of work, Sou-chan arrived there at the last minute so I bought popcorn for him in advance. I like caramel and Sou-chan likes salty popcorn ♪ The story was interesting and their world view was wonderful. I want to see it again. The magic world is really cool. Also, because there’s a Harry Potter play in London right now, I think I want to go see it. It’s so fun just thinking about what kind of play it could be!

Fuma: Goro-chan (Takeuchi Ryoma’s role) who was together with me in the drama „Toki wo kakeru shoujo“ contacted me. He invited me for a meal but sadly I couldn’t go. Since we haven’t met recently, everyone from the cast wants a reunion. Even before this at „Best artist 2016“ when NEWS were singing „Koi wo shiranai kimi he“, the images from our drama were showing in the background. I felt like crying when I saw it during rehearsal. When I listen to that song I remember my feelings of those days, our laughter while we were talking and the summer-like smell. But I have to keep moving on, so next I’m going to be a hacker in the drama „Uso no sensou“!

Kento: I was walking my pet dog Bonita and when I arrived at a place where I could release her (from the leash) and I took the lead I was impressed that she was following me obediently! I was like „good girl ♪“ and I was so happy (laughing). Because I was able to see various flowers as I took a walk, I took pictures and it felt good to be in the sun. I also found a popular udon restaurant that I didn’t know about. Taking a walk is such a nice thing to do.

Shori: I went for a meal with (Fujii) Ryusei. Since it was cold we ate nabe and talked about blond hair. Ryusei was like „I have an image of blond hair because for my roles I have always been blond. Isn’t that cool?“ (laughing). When I said „You’re bragging, you’re bragging~“, he said „I’m not bragging, but isn’t that cool?“. Although Ryusei is older than me, he’s kind of cute (laughing). He’s a really nice person and I was able to relax together with him.

Sou: I got a birthday present from the members. It was headphones that I wanted since forever. Since Shori’s 20th birthday we made it a custom to give only one present from the four of us. But from Kenty (Kento) personally I got a pen. Because I’ve been told that I’m skilful in writing, he said „Since this pen came with a certificate, you can make good use of it at work“. Marius’ family also gave me a ball-point pen, so from now on I’ll do my best to write beautiful characters!
