Chapter 1

(Verstappen!reader x tom holland x zendaya)

Soulmate au

YN Verstappen had been through hell, by her own father, for something she didn't even ask for. She grew up learning that she should hate what was given to her, after all it was the reason her father was always angry with her. So what should she do when the one thing she learned to hate is the one thing that brings her love, safe and comfort that not even her older brother can compare.

WARNING: not proof read, Jos Verstappen (worsned like 10 times for this fic) poly relationship, derogatory terms by father, abusive father. If I missed anything else please let me know

Masterlist

Max and Yn Verstappen are close, really close, some would even say they are too close for being siblings, after all it's not usual for an 18 year old to go live with her older brother in a country 2 hours away (by plane) from her university rather than just to rent something close by.

Everyone had very harsh words to say about the pair of siblings, some still do but these are just people who hate max verstappen and they know nothing angers him more than someone insulting his baby sister, everyone was very vocal about how strange, weird and abnormal it is for 2 grown siblings to live together.

Everyone thought that the Verstappen siblings would change their living arrangements after Max and Kelly found each other, only to be surprised by Max buying a bigger penthouse that'd be enough for all 4 of them.

Everyone was negative about the prospect of the redbull formula one driver being followed around by his little sister until the release of The Anatomy of A Champion came out.

When the producers of the show pitched in the idea of talking to yn, max had refused, he wanted his sister nowhere near any of these vultures knowing how bad it can, and most probably will, get. Max was aware from a very young age that what his dad was constantly saying and doing to him and his sister wasn't normal, whenever he was at a race he would see the other boys' dad's hugging them and telling them they did a good job even if they didn't get first place, he would see how other's would have their father waiting for them with water and towels, and most importantly he would see how other dad's had their daughter on their shoulder making the other little girls laugh; Why does dad only make yn cry?

He remembers it so clearly, the way his father hit his sister because of something out of her control, something that she didn't even ask for, something that was thrown at her, it was the day his sister got her soulmark.

Everyone had a soulmark that appeared on their 5th birthday and today was yn's which made jos take her to the soul doctor. Soulmarks were complicated, which is why soul doctors were important, they let you know more about your mark and the bond that's to form between you and your other half.

"Wow young lady, you'll have twice the amount of love it seems."

"What?"

Max knew his father's tone, he know that he's angry and he unconsciously held onto yn's hand, hoping that his father wouldn't take his anger out on her.

"Well Mr Verstappen you see these lines," the doctor gently held up yn's wrist, turning it over to show off her newly given mark "that's an indicator of one soulmate, I'd say he is 3 or 4 years older than her given the shade of the mark, while this other lines that are in a circular shape indicate the other soulmate, he seems to also be around 3 or 4 years older as well. It looks like the mark that indicates young miss yn here is the moon, with how the moon is in the center I would say that yn would be the last in the group meaning that her two other soulmates will meet each other before they meet her."

Jos was angry throughout their drive home, he had already smacked yn into the car while rushing her to get in and as soon as they were in the car he hit her across the head, his arms tall enough to reach the young girl in the backseat. That was the first time max heard these words that would be so easy to recite within a few weeks.

"Two soulmates? Why couldn't you just be normal, why do you have to be such a slut?"

The ride back home was one of the worst max and yn had ever expirenced.

"Two soulmates, ridiculous.They're not even going to want you! They'd meet each other before they even know you!! At least if you turn out to be good for nothing I can just pimp you out on the street, maybe then you'd be useful, and it's not like your soulmates will even like you or want you. Unlovable whore."

"So," the interviewer started as Sophie Kumpen sat on a white sofa in Max's home in Monaco "how is your relationship with your youngest?"

"It's not as close as I'd want it to be," the mother of three confessed as she looked into the camera "yn is a very sweet girl, she had been through a lot. When Jos and I divorced she wasn't really aware of what was going on, she was too young to understand, and as she grew older all she could see was Max. He had been the one to take care of her: i remember once when Max was around ten years old he called me up, asking me how to make a soup because yn was sick and jos was out god knows where.

Max and YN were and are always there for each other, and I don't think that will ever change. I'm sure everyone thought their relationship will sort of tweak a bit when Max and Kelly met each other, but I don't think Max will ever allow that and it's not like Kelly even tried to change their relationship, she was the one who was apartment hunting for all of them while Max was racing and Yn was back in England for her university."

"Do you think yn is putting in the effort to be there for Max?"

"Oh definitely, I mean studying mechanical engineering along with aerospace engineering at one of the top universities in the world is enough proof. Her whole life revolves around Max and I don't think it's a bad thing. Max had been her everything, he's the one she always goes to cause he is all she knows. When she was deciding what to do right after high-school all she said was that she will choose the majors that'll help her get an internship at formula one so that she'd be there with Max for the rest of his races, however long he wants to be there."

"Do you know what happened between Jos, Max and Yn? Don't you think it's weird that once Max turned 18 he asked Christian Horner to ban his father from the paddock? And to help him have yn with him as much as possible?"

"I'm not really going to go into the details of it, but Jos has done a lot of damage, especially to yn. It's not something I can talk about, not that I even want to, but Jos was a terrible husband and a wose father, I'm insanely glad that yn and max turned out as good and well as they are. Seeing them so close is not something that's surprising me given what Jos did to them, to yn" Sophie's voice broke as a few tears escaped her eyes "sorry, it's just, what she had to go through, it's traumatic and I'm happy that she had Max with her through it all. It fills my heart with joy seeing the little family Max and Yn formed with Kelly and Penelope"

Okay here it goes: My request is about Tom holland and reader (she is an actress 5 years younger than him (Tom is 25 in this) and they basically have been working together in Marvel since Ca:Cw) they fell in love and keep their relationship a secret. What's the plot? Now in 2021 Spiderman: NWH is coming out and Marvel bosses (or publicist Idk how this works) make Tom and Zendaya "date" ( aka fake relationship ( I don't believe their relationship in real life, sorry not sorry) ). Zendaya has always been jealous of reader for dating and having such good and strong friendship with Tom since the beginning ( also the media is saying how reader is becoming an amazing actress in Hollywood and it seems she is gonna take down her career) so she is the one to suggest Tom and her "date" ( without Tom or reader knowing ofc) and one day Zendaya is bragging about her plan working and how she is gonna make reader pay and have Tom for herself when someone or somehow (that's up to you) record her saying that and post it on social media making it viral.

“Babe?” Tom shouts through the bathroom door, you roll your eyes as you giggle to him, “Yes, Tommy,”

“You seen my shampoo?” Tom pouts, you look down seeing him half naked. Your surprised he actually, put a towel round his waist.

“Oh, your new one?” Tom nodded, “It’s in the bedroom, I’ll go get it but one condition,” You smirked at him.

“What might that be?” Tom narrowed his eyes, “I shower with you?” You point your index fingers together, pouting at him.

“Oh, my!” Tom laughed, “I asked you and you said no, you change your mind like you change clothes,”

“I know,” you winked, getting his shampoo.

“Hello,” You whisper, wrapping your hands around his waist in the shower, “Hello, Darling,” Tom smiles kissing you.

Now under the water together, you share a bliss shower.

“You cheeky bugger!” Tom smirked, “Using my shampoo, you got your own! Your even using it, before me,” he laughed, “Let me help you,”

“I like your shampoo, it smells nice,” You grin back, Tom kisses you as he scrubs the shampoo, well his shampoo into your hair.

“Mm,” Tom hums, against your skin as You scrub shampoo into his own hair, “You give the best massages ever!”

“Well what can I say? I’m a professional,” You winked teasing him.

A few days later, You and Tom are back at work together. You been Filming for Spider-man No Way Home and it’s quite stressful but fun.

“Tom, A little more to the right,” The director, shouted. He nodded, starting the scene again in that position. “Action,”

Meanwhile, you were in the make up room ready for your next scene. You were a character in marvel since Captain America, Civil war like Tom being Peter Parker.

You betrayed a young girl around Peter Parker’s age, your character wanting a distant normal life but how wrong could that be?

Your character’s dad was Captain America himself, you was only allowed to go to a normal school because Peter Parker got recruited by Tony Stark.

C/N went to school with him, Peter had an important role! To look after C/N no matter what. If they got hurt or lost, it was on him. C/N and Peter are best friends themselves and with Ned and Mj.

Of course the love plot between Peter Parker and Mj still happened, which you are grateful for because you don’t know if you could handle being in love with Tom.. and “love” Tom as Peter on the big screen in-front of everyone.

You went on set to do your scenes, some with Tom and Zendaya being Mj and some with other characters.

You ended set early which is lucky, however the his agents wanted to talk to Tom because they had a big idea.

You didn’t know at the time, of this idea.. all you knew that his agents, where talking to him.

“Tom, Great idea since No Way Home is being released soon!” The agent, expressed, “How about You and Zendaya, fake date?” They smiled.

“Hold up stop, right there! Really? Fake dating,” Tom wanted to roll his eyes at them, honestly but he didn’t want to be rude.

Your relationship has been a secret, you and him both wanting privacy at least until your comfortable.

Only dating around 1-2 years, with you being such a young age. Tom didn’t want you to be publicised by the media, especially because they are too cruel.

Some people will not like the 5 year age gap between you but you and Tom did not care. No one suspected anything between you yet, mostly rumours of Tom and Zendaya dating but all of them has been denied. (So far)

“I don’t know, we are great friends,” Tom shook his head, not agreeing with it but what they didn’t know that you and him was actually dating.

“Just think about it thou, it will be a brilliant story line. Hyping up NWH, all the fans will go crazy because they actually ship you and Zendaya together,” The agent expressed more.

“Yes, you honestly have to because we kind of settled it up.. with your publicister,” His agent wince as technically they had his consent but still didn’t before they had set up a few date plans.

“Typical, A/N! Do I have a choice? Clearly not,” Tom tried to keep his cool, considering he didn’t have any say in this.

“Right,” Tom sighed, Tom needed to protect you at all costs, “It’s all fake thou, I do not have anything between me and Zendaya at all! You understand,” Tom told them.

“Yes,” The Agent nodded, “I will send you all the specific details on email,”

Tom nodded as he went off set to go find you in his trailer.

“Hello, Darling,” Tom smiles kissing your cheek, you are one of a kind. Tom can’t get enough of you, what’s so ever.

“Hi, Tommy,” You smile, kissing his cheek back as he leans into you on the bed.

Tom melted into your touch, taking his mind off of the words that has just been given to him.

“What’s wrong, Tommy?” You stroked his head, immediately knowing that he is upset or frustrated with something.

“I’m pissed off and tired,” Tom mumbles, closing his eyes enjoying your touch.

“What about?” You wondered.

“They want me to fake date,” Tom rolled his eyes, quoting fake as he sits up looking directly at you.

“Oh, right! With who?” You furrowed your eyes, you rub his arm to comfort his arm.

“Zendaya, which it’s not like someone, who I don’t know or get along with.. but again fake dating?” Tom huffed, “Unfortunately, they don’t know that we are actually dating. I want to protect you as much as I can because the media is mostly, awful sweetheart!”

Tom breathe heavy as he kisses your forehead, your not that shocked at them wanting Tom to “date” Zendaya.

“That’s why I’m pissed, I know why they are doing this rubbish. It’s because they want more media coverage on the movie, which I can’t get out of because I have a contract stating that I would do any other media coverage.. unfortunately including “dating” with them,” Tom sighed.

“I’m sorry that they did that to you, Tommy,” You pout, kissing his lips sweetly.

“Awe, baby! It’s not your fault, don’t say sorry sweetheart,” Tom pouts back, making you giggle as he wraps his arms around your middle pushing you down into the bed again.

“It’s going to be alright, you don’t need to worry either,” Tom reassured you, “Let’s just cuddle,”

You nod your head snuggling into his chest.

“I love you so much, Darling,” Tom whispers, kissing your cheek.

“Mm,” you giggle, “love you so much too, Tommy,”

You lay there cuddling and comforting Tom in his trailer for the time being.

Tom loving his work as an actor and appreciating his friendships was engaged into this fake dating stuff but none the less made it look real.

“Tom you got the documents for fake dating Zendaya?” The agent asked.

“Yes, I did read through them,” Tom nodded.

“Great, as you would know you got a date tonight around 7pm,”

“Yep,” Tom nodded.

Tom didn’t want to make it awkward as Him and her are good friends nothing more.

Later that day, Tom ended early for this “date” with Zendaya. you was busy working on your scenes as usual for the up coming movie.

“Hey, how are you? Z,” Tom smiles giving a light, hug to Zendaya.

“I’m good, how are you?” She smiled, happy of the fact that she finally got Tom away from you. The nickname gave butterflies to her stomach as it came out of Tom’s lips.

“Good, honestly line of work has been keeping me busy,” Tom gave her another smile, “You excited about Spiderman No Way Home?”

They sat down at a cute place in New York City, where paparazzi can take videos and pictures of them for the media..

“Yes, actually I think it’s going to be pretty cool!” Zendaya smiled back, thinking how she gets to kiss him on set, “what about you?”

Unfortunately, it’s not in real life. Zendaya reminds herself to play along and keep her cool.

“Yh, same! I’m pumped for the new movie, so fans can enjoy and love at what I and others do,” Tom smiles, always thinking about others.

“Understandable, we need to talk about our next date too,” Zendaya casually slipped in, not wanting to be too forward with it. Although, this needs to work!

“Yes, I was thinking going somewhere like,” Tom was thinking, but didn’t really come up with somewhere else. Maybe he will let the agents sort that part out because honestly, this is effort.

“Yh, I was thinking around town,” Zendaya spoke up, “Cute pizza place,” Tom nodded, not really listening.

Tom was thinking of you, how gorgeous your going to be in the dress he bought you for your real date with him.

Zendaya and Tom talked mostly how they normally talked, friendly and close seeming like the most natural, perfect couple to exist but in reality that’s far from what you can see.

“I think we should go, we finished eating and been here for about two hours,” Tom told, he got Zendaya’s bag and coat.

Tom even put it on her, to make the date look real. “Thanks,” Zendaya nodded.

She really enjoyed his closeness to her, always thinking she was the one going to be dating Tom not you.

“We should hold hands, the paps will capture it,” Zendaya suggest, just like other things..

“Yh,” Tom nodded, taking her hand into his. He felt weird but none the less complies to make marvel bosses happy plus the media too.

Paps as usual taking pictures and videos thinking that the two was actually having a good date. It had to make Tom laugh because honestly they believe anything.

Tom guides Zendaya into the limo going back to their separate homes away from the paparazzi.

“Thanks, I had a good night not making it weird,” Zendaya said goodbye to Tom.

“Yh, me too, to be honest considering the circumstances,” Tom nodded, getting out and walking into his own house.

Tom tiptoed up the stairs trying to keep quiet as he changed into some joggers. Seeing that your wrapped up asleep, he slid in the covers wrapping his arms around you.

“Hi Tommy,” You mumble, sleepy snuggling up to his warm, toned chest.

“Hello, Darling,” Tom whispers, caressing your locks as he gets closer to your body.

“You still sleepy? my love,” Tom smiles, kissing your forehead. You nod as you shift into the bed to get comfortable.

“Sleep, before you ask. I’m good, the fake date was alright,” Tom reply’s, “My baby needs to sleep, I need to sleep too,”

“Shh,” You take a finger up to Toms lips, “Sleep with your baby then,” you smirked, closing your eyes again.

Tom chuckles as he kisses your lips, “I intend too, right now!”

“Good! Night, love you so much,” You smile, feeling Tom stroking your forehead.

“Goodnight, I love you so much too Darling,” Tom smiles drifting to sleep with you.

At peace not thinking what there is come anytime soon, You and Tom just holding on to each other.

Tom dragged himself to dress up for another fake date for media coverage. The “date” consists of composing himself not to slip up saying I can’t take this anymore.

Tom is a strong, will minded, determined man, who is going to protect you at all costs! He likes Zendaya as a friend, she’s good for a laugh and chat once and a while but nothing more could come out of it.

Tom loves you, head over heels for you and nothing could change his mind other wise. However, Zendaya had other plans.

“Hey, you ready?” Tom smiles asking Zendaya, “You look nice,”

Zendaya didn’t really agree at that comment, she was hoping for something like beautiful but she will be take it.

“Yes, thanks. You don’t look too bad yourself,” Zendaya winked playfully, really confusing the shit out of Tom but nodded and followed her outside none the less.

Walking hand in hand as people take photos of them, videos etc.. Tom put on a fake smile as Zendaya chatted and laughed along taking actual interests in things.

They went to a park sitting down, drinking hot drinks as it is winter. Acted like they were in “love” for the media coverage, or so Tom thought..

“How was your week?” Tom smiles being friendly, wanting this not to be awkward as after all he thinks they have a good friendship.

“It’s been good, even though I’ve been seeing you on set and filming with you. We haven’t seen much of eachother,” Zendaya stated to Tom.

“Well, I’ve been busy plus my family dinners with Y/N too,” Tom explained, not seeing the issue talking about you. Knowing that Zendaya wouldn’t blow out the secret relationship you had going on.

“That’s cool, just wondering. It’s nice to talk to you once and a while,” Zendaya sincerely said, honestly she wanted to act cool like it wasn’t a big deal.

Truth was she was jealous of you, as Tom talked about you. Zendaya changed subject that didn’t include you at all, wanting Tom to look at herself as he looked at you.

Jealous of Yours and Toms strong, close friendship, eventually building up into a relationship. Zendaya thought she could be higher than you thou, more clever.

Zendaya smiled even more when her and Tom sat closer together for the media coverage. Eventually, taking a stroll around New York through the Christmas decorations.

Zendaya enjoys her second date with Tom.. with the media being all over it. She is quite pleased with herself.

Some fans even came up to them, taking pictures with them. Thanking them for their time.

“Says yourself, love,” Tom winked, “Dance with me,” He took your hand and twirled out around.

“Tom,” You giggle, getting twirled around, “You are a blessing,”

“Really?” Tom smirked as you nodded, “Your a beautiful, blessing too,” he whispers into your ear.

Tom kisses your hands, taking a step side to side as you dance together.

No music but you and Tom is all you need to move.

“Have you seen the media?” You asked, looking down. Tom rubbed your hands to comfort you.

“Me and Zendaya are nothing than friends, we are just fake dating. You got nothing to worry about, Sweetheart,” Tom explained, lifting up your chin to look at you direct into your eyes.

“It’s just for the media coverage,” Tom sighs, “Unfortunately, I have to suck it! I don’t want it to be like this but I want to protect you because I love you so much,” He whispers, dearly to you.

“I understand, Tommy,” You place your forehead against his, holding him dearly, “I appreciate you protecting me, honestly I do! I love you so much,” You breath out, a few tears in your eyes as Tom swipes them away.

“Your the one that I want, your the one that I love nothing compares to you, no one,” Tom spoke whole heartily to you, kissing your lips passionately with grace.

Tom prided himself in never exposing his soulmark, he let a lot of things out that shouldn't be and his soulmark not being one of those is such an achievement. Mostly because from a very young age, when he started acting, his mother would make sure he covered it up with makeup so that no one, not even those behind the scenes would see it.

"So, you're invited to watch cars drive in circles?"

Meeting Zendaya had been a dream, they both felt the need to be closer to each other whenever possible even before they discovered their identical soulmarks. Both of them working and hanging around each other made it so much difficult to conceal their newfound relationship and eventually the whole world knew that both of them were soulmates, and not just that, everyone was now aware that Tom Holland and Zendaya Coleman were fated to have a third lover, a third soul with them to keep them sane from all the chaos their lives bring in the form of fans and crazy paparazzi.

"How can you say that?" Tom looked back at his girlfriend as he poured himself some tea "you literally met Lewis Hamilton not that long ago!"

Tom was painfully aware of the fact that Zendaya isn't that interested in either of the sports he enjoys: formula 1 and golf.

"Oh yeah, at a fashion show," Zendaya recalls as she moves over to hug tom from behind, resting her chin on his head. "He was nice."

"Do you think we'll meet our darling soon?" Zendaya asked, making Tom leave his drink to hold her hand in reassurance.

"I think so," turning around he let go of one of zendaya's hands to let his palm rest on her cheek "I know that I met you when I kept thinking about my soulmate, so I have a feeling that we'll meet darling soon."

The couple had taken to calling their third soulmate Darling, a nickname that they both agreed to reserve for their missing soul.

"Yeah, I feel so too."

With his work schedule Tom wasn't able to attend much f1 races, but when he could he did, and most of them were the infamous English track, Silverstone.

But here in Monaco, the races were something else, Tom can feel how the people in this country were raised watching these cars from their homes, cheering for their favorite driver and the preparations for the race throughout the entire country are just mind blowing (he promised himself that he would bring Zendaya here for a vacation, this place is amazing).

"Is something wrong?" The voice of Christian Horner stopped Tom dead in his tracks, the team principle of the red bull formula 1 team making him feel like a little child caught with his hand in a cookie jar.

"Oh, um, yeah, yes-" clearing his throat Tom couldn't help still looking around, wanting to see the reason of the all too familiar tugging his heart "just looking around, the race is very different from Silverstone, the atmosphere is just so..."

And there it was, the reason his heart is pulling, the person he hoped he would meet as soon as he felt their presence in this specific garage, his darling; their darling.

"Well, Monaco is the heart of motorsport, especially formula 1, you can't live here without being a fan really."

Christian wasn't an idiot, he had eyes and his observational skills were too good. It wouldn't be the first time he witnessed a celebrity looking at yn verstappen, the girl hooking everyone in with her innocent face and charming smile. It would, however, be the first time he saw someone loose their breath over her and he knew what that meant, he knew that expression; he had went through it when he met his wife, he saw it on Max when he met Kelly and now he is going to see it on yn.

He thought he met an angel when he saw Zendaya, he thought that the feeling he would get when meeting their darling wouldn't be as strong, as intense, but seeing her there, standing next to Adrian Newey with a notebook and a pen in her hands, discussing something that seemed so important, made him unaware of anything else. She was all he could see, hear and feel. She was who they had been missing, and god did she make him want to scream at the top of his lungs.

He felt his chest swell up with emotions as he quickly reached for his phone, calling the one person he knew would calm him down.

"Hey baby, how's the race going?"

"Z, she's here," Tom rushed out as he maneuvered between the never ending sea of people to a quite place- well as quite as it can get in Monaco during a formula 1 race.

"What? Who's here?"

"Darling! She's here!"

"Darling is a she?"

Gathering her thoughts Zendaya left the lounge area of her hotel suite, dismissing the makeup artists and stylists with a smile and wave of her hand before entering the bedroom within the suite.

"Okay, okay, calm down baby," Zendaya spoke as she ran her hand through her hair "how about you go talk to her, yeah?"

"I can't, oh my god, what if she doesn't even feel the same pull- it's a stupid way to describe it but you know that's how I felt when I met you and it's the same but so much worse cause you're not here with me and I can't do this-"

"Honey, calm down, it's okay, let's take it step by step, did you check her wrist?" Being met with silence worried the tall girl, she knew how it might come off to him when she was basically asking him to check actual evidence and not take his feelings too seriously "I know your feelings, I get that, I felt the same with you, but it's better to be safe than sorry."

"Yeah, yeah," shuffling was heard before Tom apologies for, what zendaya assumed, pumping into someone "no, yeah, you're right, stay with me on the line, I'm going to try and see. She's wearing a sleeveless dress so that will make it easier."

Even though she didn't want to spoil it for herself, she wanted to get 100% of the awe and the fondness for herself, Zendaya couldn't help but ask "what does she look like?"

"So beautiful, Z" the way Tom spoke, the breathlessness and amazement in his voice made her want to cry, she wanted to be there, she wanted to be with him when they first saw her, that's how they always envisioned it.

"Okay, so I checked, and oh my god it's there, it's the same Z, what am I supposed to do, oh my god"

"Here's what you're going to do, you're going to tell her right now!"

"There are like 100 people around, how am I supposed to do that!"

"I don't know tom, tell her you wanna speak to her or something, make it up!"

"I can't do this, I can't, I am freaking out!"

"Oh my god, you're an actor, pretend it's a scene"

"Will you be able to pretend?"

"Well no, but I'm not the one that can see her, am I!"

"Okay, okay, deep breaths, I am going to tell her with you on the phone, alright?" Tom said as he started moving towards the blonde, his confidence building up with his taller soulmate cheering him on through the phone

"Holy shit" and there goes the little confidence he had

"What? Tom! Answer me! Is she dating someone, I swear to god if she is-"

"No, no, she's not," looking back at his soulmate "at least I don't think she is. God, there's no way I am telling her shit now."

"Why not?"

"Her brother can literally run me over with his small rocketship of a car! I am not doing anything when he is literally two centimetres away from her!"

What Tom failed to realise was how Christian Horner had joined the pair of siblings, telling Max and Yn of his earlier observations, which made all three of them look at the young brit in sync.

"Um, Z, I think we won't have to worry about me telling her."
