I asked the wishing-well whether Yon-Rogg is in the Marvels. It gave me this cryptic answer.

When I was a kid I didn't really notice the mulder-scully height difference much, it was just a background detail. Probably partly because they would do those tight shots with GA on her gillybox, especially in the later seasons. But when they're striding around rural Vancouver and those early city walk and talks etc together, I notice it much more and it makes me feel kind of unhinged lol. I can't help thinking that some of that early physical intimacy is even because of the like 11 inch+ height difference, that Mulder has to swoop down and lean in close and tip her chin up to get a read on her because from mid-close talking distance his perspective is going to be her fluffy bangs and rolled 90s bob and her top quarter profile unless she looks up at him specifically... And then of course the Gazing began and it was unnecessary. But I wonder if there were 'look at me, what are you thinking, I need to learn to read you' impulses at play at first.

Does Crowley know the magic shopkeeper is about to die?
Obviously not the cause of death (unless Furfur/the zombies are very incompetent… which, actually, fair).
But maybe the general timeline? Because, ok, when Hastur and Ligur are handing off the antichrist, they recount the deeds of the day. At the end, they both throw in “within a year, we will have him.” That means they know when people will die? Unless “have him” just means their soul is damned, exact time of arrival uncertain.
Either way, the absolute pageantry of Crowley saying “is A life worth more than 27 pounds and 5 shillings?” in response to the shopkeeper talking about Aziraphale’s life. The theater! The snake-tonguedness! The £20 note sliding across the counter like an unsigned infernal contract!
Because Crowley isn’t paying for Aziraphale’s life. And there’s only one soul the shopkeeper can sell.

Notice how the Goblin armor mirrors the pattern of Peter’s costume, with the purple replicating the blue negative space of the Spider-Man suit.
Since Norman is deceased, it’s making me think that it’ll probably be Harry Osborn, and that he and Peter will probably be foils. The former will likely be some kind of playboy bachelor by day to parallel Peter being a settled down family man, and he’ll veil a sharp insecurity that manifests as the Goblin persona we see here.
Whether he’ll seek to destroy everything Peter has because a peaceful domestic life is everything he’s ever wanted remains to be seen.

Look, I am fully aware that powerscaling is a bullshit idea from "Who Would Win?" communities that don't understand that just because just because one person can do a feat and another cannot doesn't mean the first person is more powerful. Different characters and their powersets can be better at some things and worse than others.
But I fucking love the speculation that Franklin Richards, son of Sue Storm and Reed Richards, a reality warper who in at least one timeline becomes so powerful that Galactus became the Herald of Franklin Richards, generally regarded as one of the most powerful beings in the Marvel Universe...
...might be less powerful than Gwenpool.
This is speculated because both of them subconsciously used their reality warping powers to become Mutants, and only one of them lost their X-Gene upon becoming conscious of the fact they'd done it.
That's not how any of this works, but it's just funny to see a character who's been built up as incredibly powerful since the 1970s get accidentally undercut by some obscure comedy character from 2015.

A character that’s been cooking in my brain for a while, this is Ackie!
She’s a professional Lovecraftian Horror who likes to wear a reinforced radiation suit while buying her groceries. Her hobbies include surfing the internet and running from the government.
Most of her friends she met via internet forums, most IRL people don’t take too kindly to her for some crazy, unfathomable reason.

Until things are sorted out between Lunella and her mom, I think Casey might have step in to be Moon Girl for a bit.
After the season 1 finale, I thought something like that would happen just to keep up the appearance that Moon Girl was still around while Mimi worked on the portal to bring Lunella back except it didn't, but now maybe it can happen in the second half of season 2.
Who knows, maybe "Moon Girl's Day Off" was a prelude to Casey having to step into that role more than once.
Also, a chance to see more of Casey and Devil as a duo since they play off of each other so well.

A little question for the buckynat shippers/everyone who is on track with the comics and all their intricacies.
What do you think it’s the reason for Bucky and Nat not being back together yet? (evil marvel writers aside XD)
- we know that they were very much in love during the buckycap era/ws 2012 run. Bucky considered Nat not only his lover, but his best friend. They helped and supported each other several times. Nat stood for him publicily against others judgment, Bucky considered her to be his only “home”. Their bond was strong and authentic, and it was broken not of their own will but for a tragic outside event.
- we know from BW 2016 that Nat regained her memories of all their time together
- when Bucky was presumed death she suffered much
- we know that between 2017 - 2018 they spent some time together working on few missions (the end of Tale of Suspense hinted at it, Punisher, War of Realms...)
- in BW 2019 we have another confirmation that Natasha does remember their relationship
- in BW 2020 Bucky confessed he still had hopes for them to be together again, and Nat replayed that she felt the same (at least before the fake family crap)
It seems they had a lots of time and occasions to try and rebuilt the bond that was so special for the both of them, but then never made the final step forward. It’s really clear that they are still in love with each other, so why don’t even try? They did this before, getting back together after the Red Room, showing that their feelings were real and not something created by some dramatic and unusual circumstances.
I’d be curious to hear your take on this in a 616 canon prospective! :3
(I know the actual reason is that writers at marvel are messed up and have difficulties following some kind of continuity/internal coherence with writing characters, but let’s pretend there’s some other believable motivation here! XDDD)

(spoilers for the blurb and the promo pics)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
so this is apparently the set-up of the new Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver comic that's coming out in February and we got to see these panels as a teaser:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So in those promo panels, Darcy is holding something that has Wanda and Pietro's (first/civilian) names on it and whatever it is, it seems to make Pietro really angry - the blurb implying that this sets up a pretty big falling out between the twins.
We also know that 3 weeks before the #1 Issue of the series, the #1 Issue of the Ressurection of Magneto is coming out:
Tumblr media
and in the blurb for the #2 Issue, we learn that Magneto is dealing with his own past in death:
Tumblr media
And we also know that when he died, he was "seeing" Anya -
Tumblr media
-the implication then being that he simply saw her because he was dying and likely hallucinating or just imagining.
But if in death Magneto is revisiting his life in some capacity, it might not have been a hallucination at all but something else, some foreshadowing or a first omen (perhaps we might see Anya as some sort of guide?).
Which brings me back to the Wanda and Pietro situation: Something Magneto wrote in that mysterious letter to the twins had the power to both upset Pietro if he found out AND upset him if he found out that Wanda withheld it. We also see that Darcy is holding some sort of box with their names on it - and if we assume this box came with that letter, that means perhaps he left the twins something - left it to the twins specifically, because Lorna's name isn't on the box. Just like the letter was apparently relevant only for both Wanda and Pietro but not for Lorna. So whatever is going on is not a general farewell to all his children. But since it has the power to upset Pietro, it is also not just a personalised goodbye to Wanda with things only relevant to the relationship between Mags and Wanda - but concerning Pietro as well.
I mean, I'm sitting here waiting to be proven wrong in a month and so on, but I feel like this is just.......slightly looking like they might have come up with something to retcon the retcon?
Because Magneto informing the twins that he is their biological father after all would definitely constitute something that Wanda would probably be a lot more positive about than Pietro, going by her latest interactions with Mags. Which would explain why she decided to dispose of the letter and why Pietro would be upset with her for doing that. And if the twins (or at least Wanda) are in the loop about whatever events will lead to Magneto's resurrection, that would be a reason for Wanda to come clean about burning the letter and what it said. And Mags' experiences in the afterlife forcing him to revisit his past would create a stage for us to learn what exactly the newest spin on the story is.

OKAY SO - someone mentioned this idea for the Vengeance of Moon Knight, and while it may sound extremely bad—like I’m Mat-patting it up in here while comparing things that may not make sense—it’s Mackay, and he makes me go insane.
The idea was behind what was introduced in Issue 8 of MK 2021 — stories. (If you see this, op, PLEASE dm me or at least message on here so I can add credit <3)
More below! :)
Issue 8 was the first main issue for Hunters Moon. If you don’t remember, MK was facing imprisonment because of what was happening in Devils Reign, and Detective Flint needed help with an investigation surrounding Scarlet Fasinera.
Tumblr media
As the issue goes on, Hunters Moon finds Scarlet, brings her down via Khonshu, and apologizes to Reese.
Tumblr media
Overall, it’s a pretty cut and dry story! However, what really stood out about THIS issue and THIS issue alone is that it talks about how powerful stories are, and it’s never talked about again. Maybe that’s coincidence, but there are major parallels to how Scarlet survived through becoming a story, and what Moon Knight has done.
First: The wall paintings.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
On the left is how Scarlet survived through becoming a story. People prayed to her. The second, well, Marc sums it up well in the first issue:
Tumblr media
DO YOU SEE WHAT I MEAN?? Not to say that Moon Knight can PROBABLY come back as a story, but I’m saying that. He’s already set up to be with the paintings on the walls AND his death.
We do not see this EVER again in the run, so that’s why it’s very suspicious to me… I know Mackay loves stories that constantly have action, but as we've seen for the entire run, everything has a meaning and a place in the story. It'd be odd if this was just thrown to the wolves with no further exposition.
Second: her talk about stories.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
IF Moon Knight comes back through those symbols, the story is crafted by those beliefs and prayers (AND it's not just Mackay's Moon Knight run we see this motif- even in the current Avengers run, also written by him, we hear that when Thor fights the horrifying biblically accurate angel).
However, what strikes out to me is the "A story changes in the telling, Hunters Moon, but never learns."
Do you know how we see this new Moon Knight portrayed? That's right. Bloody and ruthless are a few words I can name off the top of my head. We have not seen a cover yet, except for issue one and the variants, that is them not fighting someone.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Do you know how Moon Knight is seen in a lot of peoples eyes? Bloody and ruthless. Do you know how stories are made? Through beliefs of other people. We even see this in issue #25!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It's easier to be someone who everyone else knows. Not yourself. If no one knows who you are, truly, than your story—your new life—is not going to be yourself. Who you actually were, but it is you. To other people, you are the same.
Now, to end this all off... An excerpt from Badr:
Tumblr media
While one person believes in Moon Knight, his story will continue. Do you see what I mean?

It's a countdown!! (is it though?)
Last Thursday, thorofficial posted the first *oddly* related Loki thing from a series of such posts that had my kind spiraling, so welcome to me putting it here.
Last week, I thought we'd get a surprise and Thor would make an appareance in that post credit-scene already, but that wasn't the case. Instead, the clock started ticking.
🕖
This starts, as any other stories that we know of, at the beginning. It starts with two brothers that don't know a lot about the world and will, inevitably, shape it after the words of their father. They don't know they're not blood brothers yet, but are growing up as they were.
Tumblr media
Loki is being told that they were both born to be king, and he believes it, not seeing the lie in beLIEve yet. But it is true, he too was born to be king, only not in Odin's eyes. Odin, aware of this fact...doesn't really care. Not enough to treat his sons equally, only enough to keep Loki as a bargain for when times ask for it. In the first Thor movie, Loki's villain arc begins, once with the pain of finding out who he truly is. More than that, in this first movie, we get to see her rage unfiltered. The "What happened on Earth that turned you so soft" and "Tell me", for example. He is the God of Mischief, but mischief has its dark side as well.
That being said, it makes sense for these messages (so to call them, if I may) to start here. And the clock!! It is at 7:00, and how many days were there left to the finale? Seven. But hang on, it's set to drop more!
🕕
We all remember all too well (2 h 23 minutes version) that The Avengers 2012 was the next movie Loki was in. Now we are one hour/ day closer - see how the clock is now at 6 instead of 7. And it's a double countdown: to the season 2 finale AND to Loki's journey on the original timeline.
Tumblr media
The sequence that was posted is significant for the movie, it's when we first hear Loki say the famous: "I am burdened with glorious purpose". But with unusual blue eyes and sweat dripping off their forehead, not to mention the tripping and overall tiredness of these first scenes; this also seems to come with a lot of pain.
And ohhh lord, there is a lot of pain bottled up in their character in The Avengers movie. The desire for a throne (together with the need to prove himself), the revenge, the mentaining of the illusion by fear and hurt...the constant manipulation Th@nòs put him through.
🕓
But that could make a whole other post. The desire for a throne, remember? "What's wrong with wanting something, Loki?". Well, when he tried to get back promise to be king, something that was claimed and was, truly, his birth right, Loki was told his birth right was to die. It feels ME with rage to even picture that scene!!! Imagine being the one who is told this, then put in a cell "for the rest of your days", all after the battle of New York.
And this is the point where the clock in the caption is one hour/ day closer, at 5'oclock...
🕒
Tumblr media
Ohhh well, isn't this a beautiful image? The "your savior is here", Loki and Thor having a more lighted relationship, even though Thor thought his brother was gone at the start of the movie. This is a very important sequence, because it shows Loki finally turning back to his brother and to Asgard, on a ship to take them away from the ultimate destruction of Ragnarok. It's the first time we get a glance at the God of a Mischief using her villanous traits more for the good side, and it's amazing. With the time being 4 o'clock, there are only 4 days separating us from the finale. Just like the flow of time: never feeling regular, sometimes I wish I was closer, sometimes farther away.
6. 🕑
Oh, look at that! We're getting closer to midnight? But what does it mean? Once the clock strikes 00:00, what happens? Could it be hinting to a reset..?
Tumblr media
In today's post, we saw Loki picking up that Tessaract and escaping the avengers, which would ultimately cause the events of Season 1. This is the last time we saw him on the original timeline and the first introducing TVA, or variant, Loki. This right here was their nexus event, the something that changed everything. According to the TVA, that wasn't supposed to happen, it was wrong. But under who's rules? Season 1's socialist-like approach, hwr's script, the flow of time itself, those are all behind us now. Everyone can write their own stories, right?
bonus: mini-theory
My theory is that, instead of altering the story, they're going to ask all their different variants in these specific points in time for help. What would they do? And imagine the power of all these Lokis, or making them work on a team! Either way, I see it as a captivating thought.
It's more likely that this episode will center more around the TVA than the past and the Sacred timeline. But even so, the countdown is still there!!! WHAT ARE YOU UP TO MARVEL
As long as everyone is fine by the end, I am happy.
I hope you enjoyed my insomnia activities and thanks for reading ✨
Also thank you to the Gif creators, those look amazing

Countdown to Agatha: Darkhold Diaries: Day 633
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There is something so so chaotic yet elegant about the choice of this hairstyle for Agatha. I’m unsure of if it’s a wig or not - but either way the hair is beautiful (hats off to the wig/hairstyling department).
The center part with a loose, top knot with a small twist sets her apart from all the other witches thus far in the series: Wanda, Evanora, and even Agatha herself. All whilst in their full witch regalia had free flowing hair - adding dynamic movement from the forces of magic and flight. This new bun might imply change and adventure as she needs to tame her mane for logistical purposes. But yet, it is still unable to be tamed, still a presence and weapon of power from whatever angle she faces. Her facade of power.
TLDR: The new hairstyle refreshes Agatha’s look whilst maintaining her hair as a key part of her character design and presence.

SPOILERS AHEAD FOR LOKI
maybe the reason why loki and mobius didnt end up together is because loki had to resolve within himself never to return to his previous life to keep all life and yggdrasil functioning and working in perfect balance.
Not that this matured and aged version of loki would abandon his post, at this point we know he wouldnt. But mobius might try to seek him out in his grief, unfolding the work loki did as god and yggdrasil and causing a whole slew of new issues. It was too much for the pacing to get done and execute the idea well.
The point of the show wasnt the romance it was the character development and redeption that led to loki sacrificing his life to become time immemorial. It wouldnt have made sense if we had just skipped to another marvel characters story and he was just in the tree w no explanation.
they took the time to carefully map out and coordinate how he got there and why and most importantly why he has stopped running and vying for power altogether because that is NOT who we know him to be.
mobius cant be with him as he is right now because loki had to do this first.

I'm gonna make a prediction for The Night Manager... I have a feeling that if he gets a partner who is *not* Elizabeth Debicki returning as Jed, which I think is most likely and still could be in this scenario, I feel she's gonna be a WOC. I have a distinct memory of a Q&A session during a panel in 2018 or 19, where a MENA woman stood up and gave really pointed and justified criticism, that Sophie's importance wasn't conveyed as well in the show as in the book. Let me see if I can find it... So, this is the timestamp for the question, as well as a section where he speaks about Inclusivity/diversity in the industry. I've cued it up to the first point:
youtube
So, yeah I think we'll probably be getting more color and/or another underrepped group(s) in significant roles in season 2. I'll post if/when it happens.

Loki, Weaver of Time and Reality
This might sound crazy, but I think Loki's powers are a bit like what the Temporal Loom does.
The fabric of reality was coming apart and he..."wove" it back together into a time-space fabric in a previous point of time.
What does the TL (Temporal Loom) does, again? It works like a tear. It collects raw time - the wool of reality, if you will -, weaves it into strands and then weaves the strands together, building the tapestry that becomes the very fabric of reality.
What happened when the TL took more wool than its capacity to weave? The strands couldn't be woven together, and now the tear is breaking down.
So what did Loki do, as he desperately grasped at the strands of reality? He simply "wove" them back together and held reality together, not letting it come undone.
Loki can now actively interfere in how the strands are going to be woven together, reshaping the fabric of reality according to his will
He can actively move from one intersection of the fabric of time/reality to another, undoing it and reweaving it as he sees fit
He's no longer bound to Linear Time. He can effectively Time Travel because he's freed himself from the limitations of the Fourth Dimension. Reality is his playground. Perhaps he can even travel the Multiverse, to the beginning of Time itself if he fixes the Loom for good.
Loki has become a Temporal Weaver, and he doesn't even need the TVA tech to do so. Or any tech, really, unlike Kang, who, in Quantumania, needed his vessel to travel the Multiverse.
.
That said, tbh I'm still in doubt about whether Loki can only move his consciousness from one point in time to another rather than have any power over the fabric of reality.
But I thought it was worth entertaining that idea of Loki becoming unbound by Time and becoming a god for real because it sounds so cool.
Of course, if he does become a weaver of time and reality...then he will effectively be more powerful than Kang itself.
I think the Multiversal War is going to be very interesting.
