Still thinking about that lens meta. Specifically, the bit where Aziraphale is driving the Bentley and the lenses are swapped. The part that suggests the visuals may be their imaginations of what the other is doing, not the actual events.

It’s so fun to think of Crowley visualizing Scotland as a loch ness monster in tartan hills, and also instantly picturing Aziraphale eating. Meanwhile Aziraphale thinks Crowley is throwing around his delicate books and using “vavoom” as a verb.

But also, it would be such a layered metaphor if it’s actually Aziraphale explaining gravity to (this imagined version of) Gabriel. Aziraphale who sees an angel worried that he isn’t staying where God put him. Aziraphale who describes falling to earth as inevitable and natural. How could you not, when earth is the largest thing around? When it’s the fullest and the richest and the most colorful; beside it, heaven is just so small.

And at the same time, he’s crediting Crowley with the invention of gravity.

Is it the earth that pulls people toward it? Is it Crowley? If this is Aziraphale’s imagination, those two influences are tangled together.

I'm not gonna directly @ people or respond to the post because I know NG doesn't need backup at all and OP is probably getting enough hate as it is (I've gotta assume ignorance here - I'm sure OP had the best of intentions - plus this is all fun and games anyway - absolutely no ill will I promise)
