I can list at least three full animatics for this song for every major fandom I have ever been a part of, and still it's so hard to find them because there are so goddamn many

It's an absolute banger from the absolute King Alan Menken, originally from the pretty underrated Tangled the Series. I've seen animatics for this for like every fandom I can think of, and it deserves it because it slaps and has great vocal performances from Jeremy Jordan and Eden Espinosa.

i'm pretty sure this song is more well known than the show it came from is lol. i looked up "ready as i'll ever be animatic" on youtube just to confirm and counted 20+ of them, and i didn't even finish scrolling. it is a genuinely really good song from a /surprisingly/ good show that imo is super underrated. i definitely would recommend checking it out if you get the opportunity!

it's a fandom song that transcended its fandom and became a hit for twist villains.

The song really fosters creativity with how many animatics can create a darker AU where the usual protagonist (or a close associate) is made to be the antagonist because of injustice suffered and the other characters have to fight against them

I've seen *at least* one animatic of this song in almost every fandom I've looked into

It has a lot of Animaniacs because it is sung by an ensemble cast It is good for demonstrating a lot of different conflicting perspectives of characters for your big dramatic fight and its catchy and I love it

I mean everyone loves a scenario where one of the main cast becomes a villain for tragic reasons and the rest of the characters have to fight them while dealing with the betrayal and attempting to make them see reason

How in the actual hell does a song from a Tangled spinoff series go this spectacularly hard? More to the point, how does it have an animatic/AMV for practically EVERY FANDOM IN EXISTENCE?! Yeah, most people know it from that one Warrior Cats MAP, but there is SO much more. Not to mention the bucketloads of people who used this song for their own OCs, which is always a bonus.

There are more that I can't think of right now but I'll update this list when I do. Now, on to what I am and am not comfortable with.

I'm ok with writing things that may be a bit more sensual but I have a hard no on doing sex scenes. I'm 17 and it's still a bit uncomfortable for me to read or write.

I am ok with, however, writing things that may be received by most as strictly a sex thing as long as it's not how you're asking me to write it. For example ABO, I have no problem with ABO because I've seen people use it as a way to explore societal biases and stereotyping in a very new and interesting way. Another thing might be nonsexual age play. As long as it's not sexualized in any way, I'm ok with writing certain things. I know some people use it as a way to cope with childhood trauma. If you have something like this, just let me know. I'm totally non-judgemental so no worries, I just am uncomfortable writing full-on smut but I don't shame anyone for their preferences.

I won't write any ships between a minor and an adult at all. This includes aging up/down a character for the pair to be the same age.

I will write polyamorous ships, non-heterosexual ships, and heterosexual ships. I'm way too indecisive to not be a multishipper so don't be shy to request a pairing just because it's not a common one.

I love AU's and if you manage to find an AU I haven't heard of or one that you've made up, feel free to explain it to me and I would be happy to write it for you.

I'm fine with writing OCs into other fandoms but I won't write any xY/N just because I have a hard time writing in second person POV.

I'll even write poems for your fandom(s). I've never seen anyone else do it but I think it would be a fun challenge.

I won't write any explicit self-harm or eating disorders or suicidal tendencies just for the hell of it, it would need to be a part of the source material or important to the plot. I've read too many fics where the author makes these things the character's entire personality just to infantilize the character.

I will write characters with mental disorders. For example, many people headcanon Sherlock as Autistic and like to project their symptoms onto him. I'm ok with writing this if it seems like it fits the character and you don't just want to make the character a baby.

I'm cool with writing angst and hurt no comfort. I'm also fine with writing gore.

I absolutely adore domestic fluff, it is my heart and soul.

I don't write crossovers just because I've never had much interest in them.

If you have something that you're not sure I would be comfortable writing, you can DM me. I pinky promise that I won't judge, I've read some pretty questionable things in my day.

1. What fic of yours would you recommend to someone who had never read any of your work? (In other words, what do you think is the best introduction to your fics?)

technically answered here already BUT. alternatively from my "i like character studies," i also write uh. fluff and soulmate fics? and sometimes fics with a minute degree of plot to them?? i feel like i have 2-4 fics for every "genre"/trope that i write for, so it's hard to pick one to represent my everything KLSDJFKSJDF ya want slice of life? i've got some old bnha, sanders sides, mcu, star wars ya want mild amounts of plot but nothing too long? star wars, danganronpa ya want straight-up poetry in fic form? uhhh. at least 2 star wars fics, a sanders sides fic, uhhh... yeah i am a charcuterie board of a writer. can't rec one thing in particular, ya gotta just take the tiny bites of everything i guess LMAO

3. What are some tropes or details that you think are very characteristic of your fics?

repetition/parallelism absolutely. probably that more than anything? i think i also have a tendency toward "i can read your eyes like a book (you look at me With Feeling when i'm not paying attention)"

11. Are you partial to a certain character/pairing or are you more equal-opportunity? If you are partial to any character/pairing, why do you think that is?

usually i tend toward "this one ship is my main ship." however, as i've gotten older, i've veered more toward generally having "i ship character A with everyone, but i only ship character B with character A." (example currently: i ship isagi with bachira, kurona, rin, barou... literally almost anyone! but don't really ship bachira or kurona with anyone else, just isagi. i like ot3 and ot4 relationships between a lot of these characters, like isagi/bachira/rin, but i don't particularly ship rin/bachira on their own as a pair. does that make sense?)

hmmm, i don't think so? i think my tastes have stayed pretty consistent overall. i've had characters grow on me over time, or ships, but as far as tropes go, ???? in reverse, i've stopped reading high school aus since getting out of high school myself LMAO, and to a lesser extent coffee shop aus. i've always generally had a preference for "canon universe, but with changes/slice of life/fix it/etc" and i don't tend to read a huge amount of alternate universe fics bc it takes some really good writing for me to get into them.
