Loki season 1 moments that live in my head rent free ✨

I imagine that Loki, a fashion queen, really cares about their looks, and wouldn't let their outfits, conjured or not, carelessy touched like that. But they did conjure that outfit, right? So they must've really worked hard on it; Asgardian leather sounds precious, after all.

The whole "I don't enjoy hurting people" conversation. The "Because it's part of the illusion. It's the cruel, elaborate trick conjured by the weak to inspire fear." quote

Mobius giving (or trying to give) Loki back his daggers. Love is a dagger

Casually stopping a building from falling using telekinesis!? We deserved to see more of his powers, like THAT'S just how powerful he is. Not just daggers (altough those are cool as well but...yk, not as efficient)

need I comment? We get to see a character that pretends to be bad at their core being told he can just go and be the opposite - which is true!! they just needed the right support for that.

The introduction of Mobius. The first time we ever saw him was in sunlight; just like the last time...

The introduction of Sylvie. Setting things on fire, just the perfect visual for her character and actions for the rest of the season.

Loki trying to hit Miss Minutes with a magazine. The magazine being Mobius's jet ski one 🧡

"You're just a little pussycat" and "If looks could kill" from the first episode. My man was genuienly flirting ✨

" A bit of both" the only bisexual queen moment we actually got. The lighting here is interesting as well...a bit of pink, purple and blue. 😉

Well my understanding is that the Blues and Royals was formed from two Royal Regiments (Royal Horse Guards and Royal/1st Dragoons), and is so-called because they act as ceremonial guard of the monarch on State occasions.

(So for example the King’s Life Guard, mounted by The Blues and Royals Mounted Regiment, gave a royal salute as Queen Elizbeth's coffin passed the Front Yard at Horse Guards.)

They don't just show up for any old tom dick or harry.

So their inclusion means they've treated Peggy's funeral as if it's as important as a Royal event / official State occasion / the equivalent of the death of a reigning monarch.

Despite her being, a) nobody b) by now surely a naturalised foreigner?? c) former head of a foreign country's alphabet agency

(which- isn't that, like, slightly frowned upon? for a British spy?)

They're so far up her arse they'll even disrespect royalty for her. 😬

I fucking hate that Disney is entering its pinkwashing era because now everybody’s just blaming the fact that the movies suck on “wokeness.”

Phase four of the MCU sucks because of bad acting, terrible writing, and oversaturation of CGI, but everyone’s attributing the poor quality filmmaking to “the gay agenda” and the fact that there are non-cishet characters included in the movies. Same deal with the new Star Wars movies.

The newer Disney films are bombing because they’re bland, uninspired, emotionless drivel, not because they have queer characters. But bigots will always jump right to the queer characters to explain why the films are shit.

And I can’t help but feel like Disney’s doing it on purpose. They know they haven’t had a single original idea in years, so they’re making a half-assed attempt to look progressive in hopes that queer viewers will care more about representation than about whether the movie’s good. And they also know that when, inevitably, the movie flops, they can scapegoat queerness and avoid responsibility for their shitty filmmaking.

And that’s what grinds my gears about this whole “The Gays ruined Disney!” thing. No, The Gays absolutely did not ruin Disney, Disney fucking sucks either way, shut all the way up, fuck Disney.

Every major instance of Girl Power they’ve tried to do in the mcu has been the most shallow, performative, pseudo-feminist shit I’ve ever seen. And it’s very telling that mainstream fans eat it up so much.
