Dragon S/O Who Can’t Use Magic Getting Bullied (Riddle, Leona, and Malleus)

Background: Y/N is a fae dragon like Malleus but can’t use magic and has been picked for it.

CW: Vague talks of bullying, some spoilers of Leona’s past,

Riddle

- That’s a way off pissing Riddle off and getting a collar from him. The bully won’t be casting magic for awhile.

- “OFF WITH YOUR HEAD!”

- Riddle will take you to the Heartslabyul dorm away from the bully and even let you stay in his room. He isn't the greatest with comfort but he'll let you vent, cry, or whatever you do to let it out of your system as long its not hurting you.

- Will make you some calming tea and get you a tart if you want it. This may end up with you spending the night in his room.

- Riddle will remind you not to be hard on yourself just because you can’t use magic. He won’t let any idiots take you down.

Leona

- Congrats to the bully, by picking on dragon s/o, you get an angry lion planning to hunt you down for what you did. I think out of everyone, Leona would be the least tolerant of bullies. (Well torwards people he cares about, I don’t see him having a lot of real friends.)

- And he would be the most understanding, hey he was bullied for being the second born prince and inferior to his brother. Like Riddle, Leona isn’t the best at comforting but makes up for making the bully pay.

- If you ran off and hide somewhere to cry, Leona will look for you, he knows your scent well so it wouldn’t be a problem.

- He’ll take you to the garden or somewhere private to cuddle.

Malleus

- RIP bully you pissed off a another dragon, this time Malleus himself, run. (If you can run,) Dragons are naturally protective of their mates, so the bully will have to be a total idiot to think its a good idea.

- While Malleus may not know what its like to be bullied or not have magic but I think he could be good at comforting you. One of the things you two enjoy is transforming into your dragon forms and fly.

- You two don’t talk you just quietly enjoy each others company Malleus knew you probably didn’t want to talk about it at all.

- He understands and lets you speak on your own time.

🐍 He also enjoys watching you interact the younger siblings of Kalim’s and the children around Scarabia and the Scaling Sands, just seeing how sweet and gentle you were with them versus how you were with others was cute to him

🦁 When Leona first met you, you had just begun your teachings from the previous assassin from the Kingscholar family. Your training was hard, but it made you feel good that you were going to protect such important and good people

I feel like out of the three Leona is the most into seeing his partner in the garments of his homeland. He'll bring it up a few times to gage their reaction and interests. He'll actually ask when he intends to invite him to stay with him at his home.

Lilia Vanrouge

Lilia teases his s/o for being smaller. He sometimes puts his coat on them and then pretends to not know where they went. Even if they are only one or two centimeters shorter he'd float to make himself taller and tease them.

Wear looser fitting shirts and his cold hands and feet will find their way under and into your back. He faux pouts if countered with a second layer of clothes blocks him.

He's very into helping his partner find their fashion sense. He gives some advice but mostly guides them to discover it themself.

Leona Kingscholar

Leona's perspective on having a baker! s/o depends on how much they identify with the title. Is it a hobby? Are you passionate about it? Is becoming a professional baker your dream career?

Many people can cook, but the art being a part of the person's identity is what matters. For example: Lilia Vanrouge. Everyone acquainted with the pipsqueak knows that he isn't capable of simply boiling water. Leona's been subjected to his, "creations," since the pungent scent overtakes the entirety of campus and lingers for days. Yet, Lilia enjoys cooking. He puts in effort and so -no matter how infuriating it is to admit- he deserves some respect as a chef.

If you identify with the title then he is extremely supportive. He pushes you to make treats that you have never tired before, and offers to "rate," them. He wants you to improve, and also likes being the first to taste your creations. Even if it makes Grimm mad; no, ESPECIALLY if it makes Grimm mad.

Leona discovers his s/o's interest early on before becoming an official couple. Ruggie was too late in swiping Leona's favorite menchi katsu sandwich from the cafeteria. A familiar scene occurred with Grimm snagging the last one, but this time he ate it before Ruggie could use his special spell. The Ramshackle prefect had taken pity and offered up their own lunch.

"The heck is this?" Leona said, when Ruggie tossed a lunch pale covered in your scent into his lap. Leona's nose flared at the intrusion, and Ruggie merely shrugged it off. The lion opened the pale with a huff, and inside was a bowl of chicken soup with a chunk of baguette on the side. Below it all was a fruit tart in a plastic container.

He would much rather have his sandwich, but it would have to do. Everything was clearly homemade and if it tasted horrible then Leona could tease them later.

The flavor? Better than anything he's had in a long while. The baguette is first to go and he eats everything in silence. For Leona, that is a big seal of approval.

Imagine Ruggie's surprise when Leona demands your food the next day. Now imagine your face when finding out. Grimm is not having it! Your delicacies are only for him-

To make some extra cash, you end up making Leona's lunches every day. Always with some new baked treat and eventually you know all of his preferences. Then you begin to spend all of lunch together, and soon you become his s/o.

Leona loves your food. Even if it isn't to his tastes he will still eat it and compliment it. He never shares either, and has fought someone for ruining his packed lunch before.

The only person who Leona has ever given your food to is Cheka, and only when he near cried.

Ruggie Bucci

How resourceful are you with your baking? Ruggie may want to learn some tips and tricks. He likes to cook, although he does it out of necessity rather than passion. It is not that he dislikes it, but most of the recopies Ruggie knows are focused on getting nutrients with minimal waste. If you are willing to teach him some new tricks then he will barter down the price of ingredients, deal?

As his S/O, one surefire way to flatter Ruggie is by baking him something. Why? You are sharing with him. It's so domestic. Where he comes from that's something you only do for your kin. You are taking care of him with no ulterior motive.

Ruggie discovered your love for baking when he was in trouble.

After every spell drive match, Savanaclaw hosts a feast for its students as a reward. It is by no means fancy, and most of the dishes featured are carb or protein based. Plenty of pasta, meat, bread, beans, and some sugary treats. Nothing like the fancy parties hosted at Heartslabyul.

All Ruggie's responsibility to prepare. The job would normally fall to the housewarden....but, no. Leona is unfortunately not the best to manage dorm funds and resources. He also doesn't cook.

The issue? He caught a stomach bug. With the match tomorrow and a day to prepare, Ruggie failed to do much when running to-and-from the restroom. Normally he would give up and let his dorm rot, but you were supposed to be joining tomorrow.

"P-prefect? What are y-you doing here?" he tried not sound pained and failed miserably. Taking note of his state and the ingredients in the kitchen, you sent him away with promises to take care of the situation. Who was he to look a gift horse in the mouth?

Never mind that his *cough* "recent infatuation" just saw him vulnerable and took over his work. Now he has a day to try and not perish.

Next day? They win their match by a landslide, and Ruggie found himself sparing many glances at the not-so-subtle, "Go Savanaclaw!" sign in the stands. Or was it the fool waving it around that caught his attention? What idiot cheers for a dorm that isn't theirs?

He grew excited to taunt you during dinner. If not about the sign, then to cover up his embarrassment from yesterday. Yet his mischievous side takes the back seat when his team is welcomed back to a full buffet. The scent of freshly baked buns hits his nose. A meat paradise is laid flat on a platter, with different kinds of sandwich rolls surrounding the arrangement. One table over is a pasta bar, with different noodles, sauces, and cheeses ready to be arranged. Next is sides. From baked potatoes, to cornbread, to toasted bagels. The shining star is the table of sweet pastries with a cake in the center decorated in the team's colors. There was enough food to feed the dorm's students for at least three days.

That celebration was better than any Ruggie has hosted. He expected you to prepare the bare minimum, not dedicate two entire days to his dorm. Even Leona was impressed, and every student in the dorm dubbed you a (god/goddess)

Needless to say, Ruggie loves your baking talent. It saved him some trouble, and your willingness to share it is something he likes about you.

Jack Howl

Jack noticed your baking affinity the moment you became friends. Compared to his two seniors, Jack has the advantage of being in the "freshman club". Meaning that prior to your relationship, he spent much time at your side by default. He's the only freshman of his race and keen sense of smell. You always smelled of freshly baked treats, and Ramshackle reeked of vanilla extract. Even in class, your scent would stand out among everyone else. At one point he developed a game of guessing what you had baked by your scent.

Jack is also a very observant person. Sometimes there would be bandages on your fingers, likely hiding oven burns. Your arms were muscular, a sign of regularly kneading dough. Sometimes there would be a tinge of flour on your pants, and your affinity at getting accurate ingredient measurements in alchemy class did not go unnoticed.

The nail in the coffin is how you feed everyone around you. Whenever there is a gathering you always bring in a treat, yet never specify where it is from. Everyone enjoys it, and Jack becomes more taken with your face lights up at their compliments rather than his own portion. He nearly forgets to eat, until you stare at him expectantly.

"It's pretty good. What's in it again?" he chomps it down with a huff, his tail swishing behind him at each bite. His favorite days are the ones his nose guesses your treat correctly, and he gets to taste what he was dreaming about since morning.

Jack is a big guy too. He burns calories like nothing with his active lifestyle, so he's more than willing to gobble up anything you make. He has no preferences so long as it is your cooking. The moment you draw near and he gets a look at the package? It's all over. His heart is bursting with affection and he's dying for a bite.

With a baker s/o, it's likely that he blurts out his confession while eating something that you made. He does well to hide his thoughts and desires. Yet, giving thanks is something Jack is not shy about. He always uses his manners when accepting one of your treats. With it becoming routine, he'd notice that you begin to take note of his preferences. Baking things that remind him of his home or that he prefers after his workouts.

So here's an alternate version of my take on Leona with an S/O inexperienced with relationships from THIS REQUEST. I almost made them all ficlets but decided not to.

But I still thought it was cute in the end. So please enjoy.

Premise: The Prefect is ignoring Big Kitty

Look at you just sitting there, as if you don’t know you’re the cutest thing on campus. And you’re not even paying attention to him. You never do. His tail thumps against the sofa.

It’s been about two weeks since you and Leona started dating. At first, he liked that you weren’t smothering him in overbearing affection. However, as time went on, it started to feel like you weren’t even dating at all.

Huffing, Leona flops against you, his heavier frame suddenly making studying a lot harder.

“Ah, hey!”

Somehow, he finds a way to become even heavier.

“Leona!”

The lion falls into your lap after some shifting, but he continues to scowl, even with his eyes closed.

“What’s wrong with you?”

“Me? If I didn’t know better, I’d say you didn’t even like me.”

“What are you talking about? We’re dating.”

“You sure don’t act like it.”

When you sigh, he pries an eye open. He expected annoyance, maybe a bit of teasing or even a humoring smile. But he never expected to see his prefect embarrassed.

“Well I don’t know how to act like it, okay? I didn’t exactly have a lot of friends back home. Let alone a boyfriend.” That voice makes him regret his accusation. “And I know you’re not really into the clingy types so I just thought it best to act…normal?”

“By ignoring me?” He thinks that pout of yours is cute. A laugh ripples in his chest. “Look, I can’t say I’m a relationship expert, but do what you want. Pretending to be someone you think makes me happy is just stupid. And clearly not workin’ for ya.”

After a brief moment of thought, you smile, leaning down to kiss the lion’s forehead.

That’s more like it.

And the next moment, Leona finds himself on the ground and you’re already out the door, having shoved him onto the floor—cackling as you run.

Sure, there’s a tinge of annoyance, but Leona can’t exactly keep the smile off his face, even as he gets to his feet to chase after you.

Author's Note: Hello! Sure I can do all four of them I'll do them separate. Sorry it took so long i was pretty burn out from a lot of things happening.

CW: Vague talks of child abuse, angst, overblot, vague talks of mental health but I won't get into it.

Azul - You often spend time with Azul in his office a lot when school is not in session. He wonder why you would stay at his office and cafe later then usual. You admitted you like it here better then home you told him about your step family. Azul didn't know what to do with you at first but he give little jobs for errands. You two ended up growing closer. One night the mental toll made you overblot. Azul wasn't shock nor surprised Azul along with friends manage to stop you before the damage is done. After it was over you were sitting at a table looking really depressed. Azul was pretty worried, he asked what happen you told him you angered your step mother cause you didn't do a chore and she got angry. It wasn't pretty, this he to talk to the eel brothers and made a plan to expose your step family to teach them a lesson. Lets say they got shun a lot by the court in your homeworld and school. Azul decided to have you get a job at his family's work and help you get out of there.

"I had found some leads that would bring them to their downfall. Your family estate? Don't worry I got it covered, your step family won't be able to hurt you in that part. After all you were supposed to get it when you're an adult. Also I contacted my family, they told me if you wish you can come stay with us away from home. They even said they had openings for their work so you can make some money."

Vil - While Vil can be critical, moments when you spend time in his room, doing skincare, make up, or dress up. It helps you forget everything that's been going on at home. One night you enter the room with ripped clothes in tears. Vil sees this and asks whats going on. You admitted to what your step siblings torn your clothes out of jealousy. And your step mother encouraged it. Eventually one day your step mother cause another incident that made you overblot. Vil had to quickly use his magic to stop you and took the time to reason with you. He didn't want you to make similar mistakes as he did. 9The events that led to him overblotting.) Vil will become pretty angry, he lowkey wanted to make them pay for their behavior. I can see him humiliate them in public. He'll take you to an important event in lovely clothes. And lowkey be a little petty by ignoring your step siblings and dance with you.

"Potato, don't worry about those rotten fools. I'll make sure to focus on you, if they try to start something let me know."

Leona - Leona notices how exhausted you look and asks you if you're ok. You shrugged it off at first but eventually one day you admit that your step family have been treating you badly. From taking over the family estate you were suppose to own. Then they made you a servant (slave more or less,). Ooh boy Leona will be pissed at his S/O's step family for treating you like that. I imagine that he would use his status to tell the step family to back off. When you overblotted, it broke his heart, he had to get Riddle to help him restrain his s/o. After the overblot is over and you are in bed. Leona contacted his brother to ask him to prepare a few things for his s/o. After his s/o is recovered, Leona will sat you down to talk.

"Herbivore, listen, normally I don't do this without your word, however you will be moving in with me. I had a talk with that "family" of yours. Yes I did, I made sure they won't cause you anymore trouble.

Malleus - You overblot cause they sold a servant that was part of your family for a long time. Lilia ended up knocking you out and Malleus used his magic to stop the overblot. Once you told him about your life all hell breaks loose. Like Leona, Malleus will use his status to put down your step family and threaten them. Even sends Lilia to give them a good scare. Your family finally stop attacking you and pretty much ;eave you be in your own home. Malleus would give you an important role to remind your family of your status. Though he lowkey want to really hurt them but you urge not to instead offered a different idea. You had your step family work as servant for him. Malleus agree with it seeing how you wanted to give them a taste of their own medicine.

"So you wish to make them work for me? Hmm I suppose its not a bad idea. Though I wish I could do more, however I will respect your wish to spare them."

Edit: I forgot to add the overblot parts my bad I got so deep into the step family part. I added some things in the story inspired by a Cinderella movie that was my favorite along with the disney classic.

🦁 Leona was very caught off when he felt a small patter on his chest when he awoke the morning after your visit, he normally felt you shifting to get up before you smacked his chest

🦁 Opening his eyes and looking up at you, he saw that you had shrunk down to the size of those fairies in the garden

" Woah there, what in the name of hell happened to you? " " *Jingling Sounds* "

🦁 He understood that fairies were fairly powerful beings, but this was something he hadn't seen

🦁 While sure you could say that transforming was something he should be used to, since he came from a land surrounded by beastman who loved becoming their beast-forms to relax or travel

🦁 But, seeing someone just shrink without becoming an animal was fairly new...

🦁 Though, he had to admit, it was something he found to be quite enjoyable. He could literally pick you up and put you in his pocket now

" Well, I guess I can officially call you short without you getting mad now, right? " *Raising their middle finger* " Love ya' too, short-stuff. "

Honestly? I feel like it would come as a surprise to him

From what we know from this poor guy's past and stuff, boy probably didn't get hugs often

Most likely, it also depends on where or when you do it for him as well

If you hug him in the middle of, say, him talking to his dormmates or attempting to discipline someone????

You might either get a click of the tongue from him combined with a look

Or straight up possibly fussed out about interrupting him

However, if you do it in close quarters?

You'll feel him tense up for the briefest of moments, but he'll eventually lean into it a little

If he's really in a bad mood, he'll almost instantly lean his head onto your chest or shoulder

The tighter the better, most likely

He sometimes isn't sure how to fully give it back, so he'll just sort of pat your back or shoulder for a second

"Tsk...again with this, my rose? ...Oh, alright. I suppose I can allow this type of contact for now...just stay there, okay?"

For the love of the Great Seven, don't do it when he's napping-

Yes, I know it looks comfortable and I know he's insanely warm

But this man is going to probably open an eye and growl at you so fast-

Unless he is in a very specific sleeping position, then he's actually asking for you to act as a sort of secondary pillow for his form

Don't do it in front of his dormmates, they'll start attempting to tease him for the softness/it'll ruin his image

Other than that, he probably will sometimes attempt to be the first one to grab you himself

His little herbivore wants a hug?? Sure, as long as everyone sees him doing it and knows that you're his

Probably does it a lot to make sure his scent is prominent on you as well, if anything

If you're the one to start it, he'll most likely just sink into it (pray he doesn't fall asleep on the spot-)

He's mostly similar to Riddle- depends on where you are

If he's, say, in the middle of a most likely illegal very sound business transaction? He's going to smile and everything, but his eyes tell all-

If it's in the middle of him walking or say, the Monstro Lounge?

He's going to get flustered inside very quickly, but is easily able to mask that with a bright smile and embracing you back

He'll probably whisper a little warning into your ear or saying that it can be continued later on

If you're in close quarters? He's all over you.

I mean- probably literally all over you.

Especially after a hard day working or if a transaction didn't go too hot

You honestly kind of remind him of the pot he used to hide himself in when he was younger, so the pressure and being able to wrap himself around you is actually insanely comforting

He's the type to bury his head into your neck in these moments, keeping as close to you and your comforting body as possible

"Ah~? Did my little angelfish want yet another hug from her darling~? Alright, as you so desire, but make it quick- I have work to do, you know~"

Out of everyone listed? You already know Kalim's going to be all over you, too.

In fact, sometimes he does it to you before you can even notice he's there yourself-

He'll just spot you out of nowhere and make a beeline to you and yank you off your feet

He's a fan of spinning hugs the most, loving to laugh and smile with his lover at any point and make them feel like they're in a whole new world

He'll reciprocate any hug you give him instantly

So, if you're the one to hug first, he's already hugging you back tightly and peppering kisses all over your face, neck, shoulders- wherever he deems fit.

Just like Azul in close quarters, Kalim is all over you

He'll make sure that you both have the most comfortable set up ready for cuddle sessions whenever you like

Jamil gags in the background at the sugary sweetness, but that's okay

He's honestly a mixture of Riddle and Leona-

He likes petting your head whenever you run up to him like that for a hug once he regains his composure (and gets over the shock)

He also enjoys lightly linking his arms around your waist and holding you there a bit

If he's in a good mood, he might even lightly dip you whilst you hug him

In close quarters, he's a lot more hands on than he is in public

He'll enjoy occasionally allowing his head to rest upon your lap as he discusses the day or goes through whatever is needed with Rook present

I feel like he'd catch on to you being the one to like random hugs, so HE would be the one to pop up out of nowhere to give you one

He's extremely tall, too, so he'll definitely have no problems scooping you up and holding you close

You always feel his warmth and the strength in his grip whenever he does so

Like Idia- he doesn't really ever know when to stop?

So, he genuinely might just start walking with you in his arms still hugging him

Like Vil, he also enjoys resting his head on top of yours during a hug, or occasionally will give a head pat or head rub

He's also a bit of a neck burier, so he'll just sit you both down on a bench or do it whilst you're walking

He enjoys every inch of your presence whenever he is graced with it, after all

Sharing clothes with their partner.

This post is featuring a s/o that is larger than the character. Not mentioned if it's height or weight. I will link a smaller s/o once that is posted.

Short headcanons as I want to get content out there but struggling to write and not knowing what content people are looking for.

Fandom: Twisted Wonderland Characters:Kalim, Leona, Lilia

Content: Clothing sharing (wearing the boy's clothes and vice versa), No mentions of body insecurity of s/o or the characters. Mention of Yuu

Kalim Al Asim

He loves wearing his s/o’s clothes. Jamil often finds clothes that don’t belong to Kalim in the laundry, It’s become a routine for him to return them. If s/o is Yuu/Mc or just in the Ramshackle dorm, it’s free clothes washing. No running water for Yuu.

Kalim will buy intentionally oversized clothing for his partner to wear during sleep overs. Probably a matching pair of pajamas.

He loves matching with his s/o in any way. Color palette to identical outfits he'd be excited for. It's up to his s/o to put a limit on how many outfits Kalim buys.

Kalim is lucky if he gets too chilly. He can wear his s/o clothes and cuddle them for warmth.

Jamil often has extra clothes just in case of Kalim taking off and forgetting his cardigans/jackets. Kalim tries to justify keeping his s/o's clothes instead. "It's prewarmed." "I like the color more" and more. Jamil just gives him the look until he gives in and returns the clothes.

Leona Kingscholar

Likes it when his partner wears his clothes, he likes it when his partner smells like him , but doesn’t get huffy if they can’t. He will steal clothes from his partner and wear them until he’s satisfied. Returning them, washed, but drenched in his scent. He doesn't quite like perfume as it smells artificial and it distracts him but he's willing to put up with it if his partner wears them.

It sometimes appears like he prefers to wear his partner’s clothes rather than his own even if they are considered embarrassing. He’d wear one of those animal hoodies(with the ears on the hood) if it was his partner’s and it was the first thing he found or was given.

He doesn't care about what clothing it is. If you have skirts or dresses he will wear them. He'd give looks if people say anything about it.

He'd give you small things. His bandana or necklaces for example. If his partner wants to wear his clothes but they physically couldn't. He, like Kalim, would buy clothes just for this purpose.

He says he just misread the size when he got it. He wears it in hopes it tricks his s/o into believing that he didn't buy it bigger on purpose for them.

S/o needs a shirt change? Leona offers his shirt making sure to emphasize that it is his shirt you're wearing

Lilia Vanrouge

His clothes most likely will still fit on his s/o. That being his stylistically, almost tactically, oversized clothes. Lilia will steal any cute shirt or sweater and it will never be returned if his s/o never asks for it back. Best not to leave Lilia alone in your room for your wardrobe’s sake..

Lillia would love to match outfits similar to Kalim. He'd tease his s/o with it and decide if he should go through with the idea. He'd show off his s/o to any one that will spare a glance

Sebek and Silver nod when Lilia talks about his s/o. Silver is happy that his father is happy, while Sebek seemingly absorbs everything Lilia says.

The old fae will give teasing compliments to his s/o of how each other's clothes look on them.

He'd also try to prompt his partner to wear certain articles. Especially if it's something outside their usual attire and style. There might be some dress up scenarios here

He’s never been this flustered before, like ever. He hears Kalim sing him praise for his talents all the time but that only makes him feel slightly annoyed. But hearing you talking so highly about him? His heart feels like it’s about to break out of his chest. He’s blushing from ear to ear for the rest of the day. Makes sure to invite you over once classes are done. He wants to express his gratitude to you and show how much he cares for you.

Vil Schoenheit (proud/flattered)

Of course, you're bragging about him, who wouldn’t? He’s used to people singing him praise and boasting about his talent and beauty. But never has he felt so giddy from hearing someone talk about him. he’s got butterflies in his stomach hearing you talk so highly of him to your peers. He’s got a smile stuck on his face for the rest of day. Next time the two of you hang out he makes sure to pamper you with compliments and kisses.

Leona Kingscholar (smug)

He’s already got a shit-eating smirk on his face as soon as he overhears you. His herbivore singing him praise is a massive boost to his ego. He’s attached to your hip for the rest of your day. He’ll try to get you to skip class to be with him. He’ll have his tail lightly wrapped around your thigh or hand, letting everyone know for the millionth time you're his. It’s kind of his own way of bragging about you.

Malleus Draconia (falls in love all over again)

He practically falls in love with you all over again anytime he hears you speak a single good word about him. He’s all over you for the rest of the day, giving you as much affection as possible. He’s trying so hard to hide the fact that he overheard your bragging but after five minutes of being with this overjoyed man it’s pretty obvious what happened.

To be honest, if you're able to lift Malleus Draconia while being way shorter than him, I'd be terrified of you.

You were both sitting in bed when you started a joke argument, this was one of the few times Malleus joined you in this.

The teachers (mainly Professor Trein and Crewel) were starting to get annoyed that Leona wasn't attending classes yet again, they knew that you were close with him and that's how forcing fetching Leona to classes went from Ruggie's job to yours.
