I'm obsessed with people making the fae in twisted wonderland more like the folklore

you know? the way that fae's are vaguely off putting? the way they're just a little too pretty? how their eyes shine a little too bright?

and the rules and stuff? the way fae can't lie? I feel like this sort of thing is really underappreciated idk

don't get me wrong, I love my boys

but sometimes it's really interesting to remember that they're not human. and that Lilia is virtually ancient

especially during chap 7 when lilia drops the bomb that he's 700 years old to the pomefiore duo and they take like, half a second to realize he's actually not 18 but a 700 fae 😭 which makes me wonder how good he is at hiding how old he is with his youthful appearance

also with malleus looking much mature than him despite only being 178 (i dont remember), is it because he's a dragon fae? because he's a draconia? so many unanswered questions and no answers

faes are an interesting specimen, they hold power and magic, almost too much. some catch on with the latest trends while some are still back in time in their goth castle/j
