Disney Sequel Movies Final Results

Congratulations to "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" for being our ultimate tournament winner!

We would also like to congratulate "The Lion King II: Simba's Pride" for winning the Animated Sequel Tournament!

Both of these movies are fantastic in their own right but also masterfully continue their original story into the next phase of their worlds. Well chosen, voters.

Thank you to everyone who submitted movies, reblogged/commented/liked our posts, and voted in the poll(s). Without your engagement, we would've stopped a while ago.

Below are our final thoughts from this tournament:

First things first: we absolutely thought Cinderella 3 was going to win it all. It would be interesting to see how Cinderella 3 would do up against Dead Man's Chest. Would it be closer? or would Cinderella get crushed worse?

Speaking of Cinderella 3, the Animated finals was so close! The first half of the week C3 managed a small but consistent lead over LK2. Then LK2 fans were mobilized and suddenly LK2 was miles ahead! the last two-three days C3 fans managed close the gap. It was like there was a steady ratio of votes that had been disrupted by the mid-week spike. We firmly believe that had the poll been open for another day (even half-day) C3 would have taken the title back. Alas, LK2 won fair and deservedly by 17 votes.

On the other side, Thor: Ragnarok got further than we though considering the number of people who disliked it in the first round. We were pretty sure it would be taken out by Spiderman: No Way Home. But winning there pretty much guarenteed it would beat the DCOM film.

Speaking of DCOM, we had no idea High School Musical 2 was so popular! It's our favorite of the HSM group, but we were thinking the more recent Descendants would be more of a challenge.

Another close race was Pirates v Princess. There PotC won by just 18 votes. We had expected it to be a close one. This was also the poll we anticipated it most likely for people to bring the actors into the debate to persuade. As great as it would have been to see praise of Julie Andrews or Keira Knightly or Orlando Bloom or Chris Pine we want to thank everyone for not using us as a place to debate the personal actors involved in the films.

Going off on actors a moment, how many of you all know that George of the Jungle was recast for the sequel?

We would also like to highlight that the top four submissions we received were Cinderella 3 (top), The Lion King 2 (second), The Little Mermaid 2/The Lion King 1 1/2 (tied third).

(We had structured the bracket so those four would have the best chance to face off. But Kronk happened (in the best way))

In fact, Cinderella 3 was the first submitted, had 3 of the first 6 submissions, and was almost able to book end by almost being the last submission too. (C3 also had enough submitted propaganda that rounds 1 and 2 are different where everyone else is working with the same)

The most submitted Live Action sequel was The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian.

As for a lesson learned: We know the way a ballot/poll/tournament is structured will inherently impact the results. We don't think we will set up the first round like this one's again when there's less than 64.

Now for the standard disclaimer: with the exception of 1 or 2, all the propaganda used was not created by ourselves. The words were pulled from the google form, the gifs are from the search here, the videos were from youtube.

Finally, for those of you anxiously awaiting everyone's favorite color:

Half of y'all like the blues/purples! Blue is slightly more beloved on it's own

about 7% of you picked the wrong answer (black) but none of you picked the other wrong answer (white)!

We gotta acknowledge the call out for Teal specifically. It aint blue, it aint green!

But secretly, while we might say purple when asked, we agree with the 2.5% of y'all who can't decide.

Cinderella and Thor are the same.

No, not the stories and not in the characters (unless you look at the qualities they do share) but in the way I saw them.

When Thor came out, I absolutely adored the star of the movie....Loki. I became completely obsessed over him. And Thor...he was okay. He was kind of funny, but he didn't really have that much depth to him...but LOKI! He was the full package and since Loki disliked Thor and thought he was an "Oaf" I thought so as well. I hated him.

When I was little and in my "Disney Princess phase" my number one favorite was Ariel. She looked like me, she was a cool mermaid, and she is what inspired my love of singing. She was the whole package. And this was back when there was only 6 princesses in the line up, so who could ever compare to the perfect Ariel? Cinderella. She was the "leader" of the line up and was always Center of all the pictures and posters and I hated her. Why couldn't Ariel be the main princess? And I know that's petty thinking, but I was like 6 at the time so...yeah.

But now that I'm an adult, I've recently watched Cinderella and I realized how amazing she is. She is a kind and good-hearted princess with a strong work ethic who keeps a positive attitude despite all the abuse and trials she went through. She is a good princess and now I'm debating about putting her in my top three favorites. I was wrong about her because I was blinded by my love of another that I didn't give her a chance.

In all the previous Thor movies, they had Loki in some shape or form. And so when I watched them, my focus was on the God of Mischief, wondering what he was upto while not of screen. My whole focus and love was for him. He outshined and overshadowed Thor. Now I'm not a fan of Ragnorak because I felt like Thor's personality change was a bit jolting. After seeing Endgame, I can see why he is acting the way he is now. I just wish that Ragnorak was after Endgame because I feel like it would have been a better transition...but that's going off topic.

After seeing Love and Thunder, I finally see Thor. Loki isn't there and I can finally see who the man truely is. He is funny, dramatic, romantic, and has a good and kind spirit. He cares so deeply. And at last he's a complex character. And I thought I wouldn't like Loki not being there...but he didn't need to be. He's having his own adventure, and Thor is finally stepping into his long awaited spotlight.

So basically, I misjudged characters because of my love for others and I was jealous/angry at them for taking recognition away from my favorites. By doing so I missed out on wonderful characters and role models.

That is why they are the same for me.

Of Palaces, Princes and Magic - Thor x (Fem)Reader

Warnings: Clueless, powerless Thor from 2011. Tons of fluff

Summary: Wandering arround your home Thor discovers evidence of the fairytale fantasies of your childhood and promises to make your dreams come true.

Note: I wrote this last night on my phone with the last bits of battery I had and post it on the morning from the laptop. There is no editing or proofread.

Allowing a stranger inside your home wasn't your initial intention, but you kept stumbling with him untill you realized he had nowhere else to go. From the barely understandable bits of explanations you got from him, your first guess was that he may have just escaped from a cult, but that didn't make him necesarily dangerous. He was lost, clueless of the world after abandoning the place that was all he ever knew. You did remember him mentioning something over the lines of ' being casted out as a punishment' and that seemed to comfirm your theory. A cult linked to norse mythology, with a leader believing himself to be Odin who had raised him as his son.

Thor lived in a fantasy world and you could tell he was harmless because he never meant to hurt you in any way. He probably required of professional help, but to get there he needed to reach some bassical functionality. If many people would get to hear more of his nonsense, he would end up locked and that possibility saddened you deeply. As far as you could tell, he probably had been physically disconnected from the world all his life already. Besides, it was clear that he trusted you, because the out of place displays of odd arrogance he had with everyone else didn't happen much between you. For you he only had a quirky but lovely chivalry that sometimes was enough to make you live his fantasy for a while.

From all the decorative details in the place, his atention was focused in a miniature replica of Cinderella's castle you had on a table near your bookshelves. A beautifull toy incluiding small figures of characters to habitate it, so delicated and romantic that you kept it as decoration even if you wouldn't play with it anymore like when you were a little girl.

" Do you like it? " You asked him, followed with a sweet smile of encouragement. " It was my favorite growing up ... I'm a grown up woman and I still love it."

The last part of the explanation confused him a bit.

" I don't see why age would fundamentally change your appreciation, it's a fine sculpture of a castle fitting for the aesthetic preferences of a lady."

You couldn't help chuckling a bit, then showed him how to unfold the toy in order to see the inside and put it all back in.

" It's a toy, for little girls to play with." You corrected him. " Many girls enjoy playing pretend to be princesses as children, but when we reach a certain age we stop thinking of palaces, princes and magic... Unless we are reading a fantasy novel or something like that. It's stuff of tales and Disney movies, not reality."

The answer surprised him even more, but there was some sort of sadness in it. Pretty much as if he took pitty on the fact.

" Are people like me casted out to remain only in the literature of this realm?" He asked, with genuine curiosity. " Which tale does this castle tells? If there is any, as your words suggest."

Even in the simplest of details, the conversations with him allways felt like the dialogue of a fairytale.

" If someone would tell me that you have came out from the pages of a fantasy book, I would believe it."

" Yet you can't believe that Asgard is my homeland." He mocked you in return. " I'll convince you, all your doubts will be clarified once I will have my mighty power back."

You didn't argue with him, there was no need at the moment.

" Alright, your highness ... Do you still want me to tell you the tale?"

Thor smiled in agreement and you began to narrate using the playset castle as a visual guide. The fact that a grown man was just being introduced to the tale of Cinderella felt quite odd, but very cute. He was particularly intrigued with the fact that the King found no issue on letting his son marry a servant that presented herself to him magically disguised just because she was the owner of the crystal shoe.

" ... Even if she was the rightfull heir of the household, her stepmother made her a slave and that's a downgrade that should have disqualified her at the eyes of the King. How could the prince convince him of blessing that union? "

He was taking the story seriously and it was hard to provide answers in that perspective.

" I guess he simply indulged his son and let him marry the woman he loved. Prince Charming fell for Cinderella at the Royal Ball, he had no idea of who she was back then. The girl was a princess in spirit and maybe the King saw that, the crystal shoe proved her worthy of the prince."

For some reason, your answer made him smile a bight brighter than before.

" I believe you are a princess in spirit. " Thor sweetly confessed. " ... and a magnificent storyteller."

His pure cuteness was too much for you and behind your own smile heat has started to take over your face.

" Me, a princess? Please! You don't have to flatter me for hospitality. I haven't wore a tiara since I was eight."

Thor looked at the little figures of Cinderella and Prince Charming in their miniature balcony, then glanced back at you as if a new strange idea had just occured to him.

" What if you could experience what's like to be a princess? Would you believe me then?" He asked you out of sudden. " Not only about Asgard, but about my very sincere perceptions of you."

You began to wonder if the last part was some sort of romantical approach and were quite confused about that. He was very sweet and you loved his company. It could be said that you fancied him too, but encouraging him would be taking advantage of the strange situation and you would never do that.

" It's allright, Thor. I'm fine just like this. We are friends, you can help me arround ... "

" I insist, that's how I will repay you for all the troubles I have caused. " He cutted you off with determination. " I will take you to a real Royal Ball."

He sounded so serious about it that you began to question your own sanity.

" The noblefolk would be judging, It's a bad idea. "

" They will see you like I do." He optimistically replicated. " Your looks will reflect your royal spirit and you will not have to flee at midnight. If that's your desire, you will get to dance with a real prince ... Maybe two, if Loki also requires it. Ask him nicely and we may convince him of hexing your shoes to look as if made of crystal."

You giggled out of a pure,sweet surprise while hearing the details of the fantasy he was almost roping you in.

" That's very sweet. You are the sweetest man I have ever known."

You were gazing into each other's eyes when he formalized the promise.

"Currently less than what you deserve, but I will fix that soon. I will be back to my former glory, I will be worthy of you and In honor of your infinite kindness and patience, I shall make your dreams come true. "

You didn’t visit Asgard very often. You were a native to Alfheim, but you’ve spent the past couple of years on Midgard for your personal interests in humanity and how a mortal’s body works. When you did visit Asgard, it was very briefly, commonly a meeting with Queen Frigga, or even a favor for Thor.

Which is why you were caught by surprise when you got an invitation to an Asgardian ceremony for Thor to usurp the throne was found on your doorstep at your Midgardian apartment. You obviously were going to go to support your friend, but it still surprised you nonetheless.

Which explains why you are now standing in front of the Asgardian palace. Vines weaving through your curled and braided half-up-half-down hairstyle, a beautiful, golden leaf necklace with a silk green dress with a vine covered top that cascades down the dress, while two vine strands wrap up and around one shoulder to keep the gorgeous dress from slipping down while you dance in the crowd. There was a single slit in the skirt of the dress that revealed your right leg and your gorgeous gold heels with emerald green accents. You had a gold leaf forehead crown that had emeralds spotting around the leaf designs.

You felt absolutely gorgeous. This felt like your Cinderella moment. Of course, you’ve attended a lot of balls and masquerade parties, but they all didn’t feel like the way you feel now.

“Princess! You look breathtaking!” You heard a booming voice behind you. It would take an idiot to not recognize Thor’s cheery voice.

“Thor!” You squealed as you whipped around to see Thor jogging up to you, he’s wearing his royal armor, the one he only wears during his princely duties (and now kingly duties). You wasted no time wrapping your arms around the muscular god as he returns the embrace, squeezing the breath out of your lungs. You’ve grown up with Thor, so you’re used to the [literal] breathtaking embraces Thor had to share.

“I’d be careful brother, if you keep her for any longer, you might have a fainting princess in your arms” You heard that silky and soothing voice come from behind Thor’s body. The voice was confident, leaking out eloquence. That voice could belong to one person, and one person only.

Loki.

Thor sheepishly released you from his tight embrace, flashing you an apologetic smile whilst rubbing the back of his neck. You smiled back at him before averting your eyes to the dark Prince. He still looked as beautiful as ever. He was a sin on legs. He always found a way to catch you off guard and make you blush, which is one of the many qualities you hate about him, but something about the God of Mischief always made you want more of him.

“Princess,” Loki purred, giving you a devilish smile as he began to stride towards you.

“Loki,” you replied, sticking your chin up a little higher, feigning confidence as he approached you.

“For once, I agree with my brother. You do look breathtaking. Ravishing, if you will,” Loki stated, taking your hand and pushing his lips to your knuckles. His green eyes never left yours, secretly relishing in the blush that crept up on your cheeks.

“I see you’re just as bold as the last time I visited,” You quipped back, raising a brow, trying to hide the enjoyment of feeling his lips pressed to your hand.

“Oh love, I’m only bold towards you, because I know I get to see that beautiful pink across your cheeks,” He taunted, brushing his fingers across your cheeks, you unintentionally leaned into his touch slightly, causing him to chuckle, “but, alas, this visit isn’t about me, so I suppose I won’t be seeing it as much” Loki continued, moving his hand away from your cheek, smiling at your slight pout.

“We all know you’ll come running back to me, asking for my hand for a dance. It has occurred every other visit. Including the ones when we were kids,” You quipped back, watching as a soft blush raised up on the prince’s cheeks, “Ah, perhaps this time I’ll be the one making you blush constantly,” You winked, brushing past him as you kept your chin up high.

The inauguration of Thor becoming King of Asgard was rather boring. The nobles from other countries and worlds became a repetitive pattern of absolute desperation to have one night with the Princess of Alfheim. Now, you’re sitting at a table, drinking a rich Asgardian wine, watching as the crowd swooshed past in a dance.

“You seem lonely,” You heard a silky voice state from behind you. You couldn’t help but smile into your cup when the voice hit your ears.

“Perhaps I am. However, you seem just as lonely for you approach me. Are you here to ask me for a dance?” You smiled, turning towards the dark prince.

“My feet are too tired to dance, I was simply wondering if you’d accompany me for a walk in Allmother’s Garden,” Loki replied with a slight smirk.

“This is a new approach, and I am slightly interested in it,” You pretended to ponder about his offer. You both knew you’d accept it. You just enjoyed keeping him on his toes, “Why not, it’s not like Thor is going to get re-crowned while we’re gone,” You took his hand and stood up.

The walk was mostly silent, the only sounds that were around were the clanking and thumping of yours and Loki’s shoes, the waterfall running into a smaller stream that wrapped around Frigga’s garden, and muffled songs coming from the inside of the palace.

“Princess,” Loki started, you looked at him as you both stopped in front of a stone bench that sat in front of a trimmed hedge and a rose bush, “I have something I wish to tell you,” Loki started.

Your heart was in your throat. Was he going to say what you thought he was going to say? You knew you had feelings for Loki, however you never thought he could reciprocate those same feelings. He was just a tease and you figured that’s all what would happen between the two of you.

“What is it?” You asked simply, not wanting to assume wrong. You sat down on the bench, beckoning Loki to do the same. He listened and sat down beside you.

“I… uhm… well…” Loki started off. You were rendered speechless. This is the first time you’ve ever seen Loki, the God of Mischief, nervous about something. Normally he was straight up with what he wanted to say, so what’s so different now? “I like someone, I have for a while too,” Loki stated quickly.

“Tell me more about them? Are they a princess? Or perhaps they are prince?” You questioned, you cocked your eyebrow while looking at Loki.

“They’re a princess. She’s been in my life since I can remember,” Loki started once again, “It’s just, she’s got this beautiful smile, and she plays along with my jokes a lot, sometimes even rendering me speechless. She has this charm to her that can make any man, any god swoon for her. She enjoys gardening, and dancing, she even enjoys baking and cooking. Her and I have snuck off to the palace kitchens at night and baked together while dancing, we told each other stories, and opened up to each other more than anyone ever could before.”

You stopped for a moment, you remembered the time when You and Loki snuck off to the palace kitchens at the dead of night and baked a 2-layer chocolate cake with dark green frosting and golden accents. While the cake was baking, the two of you listened to Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John on repeat while dancing and making the frosting. After the cake was done, you guys had a deep conversation about each other. That was the night you discovered Loki was a Frost Giant.

“She found out about my true origin and accepted it. She stole my heart that night, and the weird thing is: I'm glad she did. I let her have it and I have let her own it for centuries without her knowing. Why? I haven’t had a clue, it just… feels right,” Loki continued. You noticed a smile plastering on his face. Not one of mischief, but of adoration for the woman he was describing.

“Is she here tonight?” You asked, observing the god beside you.

“Yes, she’s here tonight. She’s wearing the most beautiful green dress that’s wrapped in vines. She’s wearing her hair up, with a couple of vines weaving through her beautiful hair. She’s adorning the most breathtaking golden necklace, the gold really compliments her eyes really well. She’s wearing matching golden heels and a golden forehead tiara with emerald accents,” He described, not even looking at you.

A smile crept up on your lips as he described your outfit to almost perfection, all without even looking at you.

“Oh yeah? Where is she now? I’d love to meet her,” You asked, the smile on your face is plastered there, it’s impossible to move it at this point.

“She’s here. In Frigga’s Garden, sitting on a bench that’s in front of a hedge and next to a rose bush. She’s sitting next to me,” Loki replied, looking toward you for the first time after you guys sat down. He spoke your name, barely in a whisper, “I love you,”

“I love you too,” You replied, speaking it like it was a natural habit. You leaned in towards Loki and captured his lips. He instantly responded, gently cupping your cheeks and kissing you back.

The kiss quickly turned more passionate and more fierce. You ended up straddling Loki, gripping onto his hair as he peppered kisses down the column of your throat.

“Are you okay with this?” Loki asked, looking up at you. All you could do was nod. You verbally could not speak from the amount of arousal that was coursing through your veins.

I’m Bones, and I’m celebrating a huge milestone—10k followers! I am so honored that so many people enjoy my work, and I am so grateful for the friends and relationships I have cultivated here, and what better way to celebrate those things than with a challenge? I think we all know that the sanitized, kid-friendly version of most fairytales are nowhere near their grim, grisly original tellings. For this challenge, I would like to return to those bleak, terrifying roots, and come up with something darkly fantastical!

For this challenge, I would like to both pay homage to my own roots, and the theme of my blog. Participants will pick one of the following 10 fairytales (or, to be fancy, you can use the spinner I made!) and then turn out the lights. This is a dark challenge, and, more than their originals, your entries should have a dark twist. Use your imaginations! Maybe Cinderella doesn’t get what she hoped for in her Prince Charming, or perhaps the story of Rapunzel that we know is not how things truly happened—it’s up to you! But your story must be dark—whether that is explicit, or revealed slowly through the events of your story, is, again, completely up to you! You can use the Roster of Accepted Characters to choose your fighter (lol)! Now, onto the rules!

𝑅𝓊𝓁𝑒𝓈:

18+ ONLY. This is a dark challenge, and while smut is not a requirement, I think the general subject matter, as well as the themes, will be inappropriate for minors. Smut is not necessary, but it is encouraged. 😏

Challenge opens 4/01/23, and will continue until the end of summer! September 1st! end on my birthday! 06/09/23! (The first of April to the ninth of June for my folks who do D/M/Y instead of M/D/Y lol)

YOUR WORK MUST MEET THE CHALLENGE BRIEF. If your work does not meet the challenge brief (A DARK retelling of a classic fairytale) I will not be reblogging it, and it will not be included in the challenge masterlist. I will not be making exceptions ❤️

You must place your work under a cut at 350 words.

There is a 10k word limit. Go crazy!

You ARE allowed to use fairytales not included on this list, please just let me know in my inbox!

Tag and warn appropriately. It is exceedingly important that we tag and warn our works to best of our ability, so that readers know what they are getting into. (Obviously don’t tag to the point where you spoil your plot, but, you know. Use your best judgement.)

Please, no: DD/LG, RPF, Toilet-play, Bestiality (but monsterfucking is a-okay), and no minors in sexual situations.

This must be new and original work. You may not submit previously written work, or work written for other challenges. It’s fine if this is part of a pre-existing series, but this specific piece must be a stand-alone, able to be read and understood without reading any previous work.

Three entries per person. You can submit three separate entries, or a mini-series with three chapters, but each piece must be beneath the 10k word limit.

Please use the roster to select an MMC. It’s okay if you want to use a character who isn’t listed, but please just check in to make sure it’s a fandom I’m actually into 😅

We are all working underneath the same constraints. It is not plagiarism for another author to use the same fairytale, or similar tropes as you. I will not tolerate false accusations, and will block anyone who makes them.

Jolie’s thoughts on Silver Blaze (Sherlock & Co. podcast) Parts 1 & 2

… because I can already tell that this will get too long if I wait for parts 3 & 4 to drop…

I know Joel has said in several places that this case is his favourite ACD story, so expectations are high… and not being disappointed so far!

I already loved this one at 3 minutes in, with the opening montage of part 1 being totally over the top, mega blockbuster crime of the century style, and then the next thing we get is Sherlock practising the clippity-clop thing and looking for a new home for 327 ants.

Sherlock being a train geek (of course he is) and going on about the ghost trains just after John went on about the creepy Dartmoor legends got me, too. In my book, Silver Blaze has never had a gothic horror vibe to it, but it may well have now! Let’s see how that aspect will develop.

Other details I loved:

John‘s mum: "He‘s a very sensitive boy and you need to respect that." - "He’s not a boy, he’s a man… who plays with ants."

John and Mariana pushing Sherlock into the case by threatening him with a party, and John being a gleefully cackling little bugger about it when it works.

"Just trying to understand how your brain works." - "Yeah, you and me both, mate."

Sherlock giving us a whole paragraph straight out of ACD (the "plethora" bit) - I love how well it always works in contrast with how everyone else in this universe talks.

The dodgy SD card, which - I hereby predict - will turn out to be more than a comedy element as the case progresses.

Sherlock deducing the entry code for the cottage, we love to see that kind of stuff, don’t we.

"We’ve got a horse to find. Giddy up."- Love it when Sherlock speaks ordinary colloquial modern English like a foreign language.

"You are a child, a giant crime-solving child!" - Sherlock Holmes in a nutshell.

"I’ve done the washing up - he said, pausing for a thank you - " - "Thank you."

Oh and scrolling on our phone to the point of existential crisis till we pass out is so how we all fall asleep these days, isn’t it. Jonk Watson, the true Everyman for the 21st century.

And then we get feeeeels, too!

Starting with "Talk to me, John." - 🥹🥹🥹 The incredible intimacy of that little moment. Also, another 'John', seemingly out of nowhere - is this Sherlock being incredibly finely attuned to the moments where John's war trauma may re-emerge, such as in this scene where they’re viewing a very badly injured body, ready to step in with whatever emotional support may be needed? If so, our boy has come a long way already since the first sweet but clumsy "Would you like to hold hands and talk about your emotions?" when they were viewing the body in Thor Bridge and I’M HERE FOR IT.

And what was that shower scene??? Things getting very much *less weird* for Sherlock while he stares at his dear companion in the shower (who presumably doesn’t shower fully or even half dressed) and imagines what life would be without him? If this show was heading in an unequivocal Johnlock direction, I‘d say this was an awakening. As it is, I don’t believe for a second that Sherlock was high. He just wanted reassurance that John would stay in the picture forever, whatever exactly you like to imagine the picture to be. 😭

More lovely details:

"Cinderella will go to the ball" - "You stop being so bloody clever, and I will stop with the compliments." And literally two minutes later it’s "I'm not asking you to be comfortable, I’m asking you to help me solve the case!" and John being Sherlock’s literal beast of burden so Sherlock can look over a wall that even little John Watson climbs without any assistance only a minute later.

Sherlock Holmes telling John Watson to get on his knees as if this isn’t the moment the Sherlock Holmes fandom has been waiting for for over 140 years.

Sherlock being gentle and friendly with the horse!

And to wrap up, a few thoughts on the case aspect:

The limping sheep in part 1 had me going 👀 already, and now the cataract knife has made its appearance, I really don’t expect a lot of surprises when we get to the denouement, and I'm assuming that the fact that there is an imprint of the letter S from the walking stick on the head of the murder victim just means that there was a violent confrontation quite some time before June actually died. Why else would Sherlock agree with Inspector Gregory that the imprint is there, but also with John that those extensive and massive injuries could not have been caused by a single blow with a stick? Nope, not sensing any dramatic plot twists compared to the original version this time. Let’s see if I was right!

Thinking about March Madness and the ghosts that would get involved.

Pete and Flower for sure would want brackets. Pete would probably want research to pick a great team, Flower knows the details and would watch the pre selection to make her decisions (and possibly forget it all and choose based on mascots).

I think Trevor would probably get into it, too. He's no doubt going to choose an ivy league.

Sass would want a reason to argue with Trevor so his bracket is the exact opposite and he choose one of the Cinderella stories that messes up everyone's brackets just make everyone more mad.

Thor participates cause everyone else is and chooses whichever team has a mascot closest to fish or vikings.

Alberta participates so she can witness the drama when someone's bracket gets blown up.

Isaac refuses to participate because "it's a sport for simpletons"

And he and Hetty watch from the back of the room making snarky comments.

Sam doesn't make one because it gets her a break from the ghosts, Jay is thrilled because he's hanging out with this ghost children.
