A/N: I rarely get to write for these characters so I hope I do them justice.

The Justice League being mildly disturbed, bewildered, and eerily...Impressed by Bruce's relationship with his rogues.

They've seen him and Harley get in a fist fight over the last Bat Burger fry.

With Harley trying to fix her now ruined pigtails and munching on her garlic glazed treat while Batman sipped the milkshake, completely ignoring the gush of blood dripping down his chin.

"... Do you want the Bat-Toy?"

Bruce can go from fighting Ivy one second, to helping her beat Hal's ass for littering in the middle of a battle.

He talks about Penguin like he's a problematic relative you have an annoying affection for. He pretends to be scared of Scarecrow's Fear Toxin to make him feel better about it not working on him.

He and Selina call eachother ' babe' and gossip while trying to put the other in the hospital.And don't get him started on Mr. Freeze. He WILL cry.

It's a very unusual relationship. They know for a fact none of them have lunches with THEIR villains.

" But I don't get it? I mean, Bats won't kill YOU, but...YOU can kill HIM."

" For what? So the police can kill us easier? Nice try."

Clark, panicked, calls the batkids when Bruce gets kidnapped. They don't know by WHO, which is the only reason they even bothered showing up. When they find out its HARVEY?

They all groan. Long and whiny. " Come on!"

" You made me abandon my Buzzfeed Unsolved marathon for this?"

Dick, peach face mask still drying, sighs, " I'm sorry, - this? Is probably the best thing that happened all week. Maybe month! Why would we be worried? He'll get 4 meals a day, 8 hours of sleep, -"

I’ve always loved harley quinn so i rlly love this idea 💗 (sorry it took me forever tho)

Harley LOVES hugging you. You’ll often cuddle on the couch together probably watching some movie musical. Harley definitely isn’t afraid of PDA either. She’ll kiss you, hold your hand or hug you in public. She loves you and isn’t afraid to show it.

“Harls everyone’s looking,” You giggle. “Let em look!”

You love doing eachother’s hair. If you have curly/coily hair she’ll learn to do styles on your hair type. You love having matching hairstyles, like both having braids or fun updo’s.

She loves helping you do your makeup (though be aware she likes doing experimental looks). You two often go on night outs, especially to nightclubs to get wasted. You’ll always look out for each other though. Harley will throw hands with any guy being creepy. You’re there if Harley ever gets so drunk she starts fighting the bartender.

Sleeping in bed with Harley is so chaotic. She for some reason cannot sleep without 9 blankets and she can’t share a single one with you. You’ll eventually fall asleep cold and freezing but you’ll wake up with Harley’s legs intertwined with yours and her arms around your waist. She’s a blanket hog but you love her.

Harley never goes grocery shopping with a list. Shopping with her is definitely and experience. Every 5 seconds Harley will pop up in front of you holding some random product and telling you about how she “NEEDS to have this.”

You’ll let her try to convince you about this “amazing” product she can’t live without for a bit till she eventually runs off to find something else to obsess about.

Cooking food together is how you love spending time together. You love cooking and Harley loves cooking with you (you’re always stopping her from putting ‘special ingredients’ in the food). If you ever find some new recipe you want to try, Harley will be right there with you buying the ingredients at a marketplace and following your instructions on what to do next in the kitchen.

“Next pour the stock into the rice,” You say reading from the recipe. “Aye aye chef,” She replied cheerfully. You watch as Harley pours the stock into the pan with the rice. She looks at you with excitement “What’s next?”

I love finding characters I can relate (/project onto) within media. There’s something so comforting about seeing yourself on screen. I end up headcanoning most of them to be in-line with my identities (lesbian, wasian, autistic) because they are literally me in my head!!

Anyway here’s a long ass list of my favorite characters and why I head canon them as autistic for fun!! If you have any others you’d like to add I’d love to hear them. (And please note this is just my interpretation, and highly based on my experience with autism. I’m not saying they’re definitely autistic or that all the traits I listed are the dsm-5 criteria or something.)

Princess Bubblgeum from adventure time:

This girl is peak evil scientist autistic. Her intense need for control, the way she carefully observes the citizens she created, an outsider to them, not quite like them… god it’s so perfect. I read her as being somewhat low empathy as well, it’s hard for her to change her perspective to that of others. Plus the fact her brother neddy is a pretty obvious metaphor for higher supports needs autism. I think they of represent how autism runs in the family and appears in all sorts of different ways in different people. They’re sort of two different representations of the spectrum.

Marcy wu from amphibia

I mean this one is just obvious. The biggest nerd of all time. So obsessed with her RPG special interest that she literally sucks her and her friends into a fantasy world. She’s clumsy (just like me fr), very smart but super socially awkward, a little oblivious and naive. She’s terrified of change, especially if it means abandoning the few social bonds she’s been able to make. I honestly find it hard to believe this wasn’t intentional.

Entrapta from she-ra

Another pretty overt example. I do have some issues with how she was portrayed in the show- (keeping her on a leash was weird.) but overall I really love her. She understands her tech, not people, and it can cause her to come into conflict with other characters. Their treatment of her makes me sad at times, but it’s realistic. I also love some of her other quirks, her love of tiny food, her exitable demeanor, ect.

Pearl from Steven Universe

Peridot is the more obvious example of an autistic character in SU, and while I agree she’s coded that way, I personally resonate more with Pearl. She is not very socially aware, and bothered by disruptions to her routine/ broader life changes. She doesn’t like to break rules (despite being a literal rebel lol.) I find it interesting how she seems to have the poorest understanding of life on earth out of the gems, despite having lived here for thousands of years. She is graceful, but has an almost sort of awkward gangly-ness to her that I relate to. Her neuroticism is also very similar to how my anxiety disorder presents.

Pearl has a tendency to infodump, without realizing those around her are uninterested. Even her relationship with Rose struck a chord with me. The hopeless devotion to her, the way she followed along at her side. It’s how many of my friendships have been. Obvious it’s not exactly the same considering Pearl having originally been her servant, but while not being an explicitly autistic trait, that sort of clingy, starstruck relationship is something autistic people are prone to developing. She does little hand stims at times too that I love to see.

Poison Ivy (specifically the version in the Harley Quinn animated show)

I’m surprised I haven’t seen more people mention poison Ivy. Fiercely intelligent and deeply introverted, she isolates herself from all people, and only connects with and understands her plants. (Which her deep affinity for can definitely be read as a special interest.) She very overtly has trouble forming relationships with others.

She’s blunt, socially awkward and a loner, has something of a flat effect and a monotone voice. Those around her initially read her as cold and impersonable.Her struggle with social anxiety as well as intense fear of failure/ low self esteem is also very relatable to me. She also often struggles to express/understand her feelings and emotions. Her radical political ideas and the fact that she’s literally an ecoterrorist paints her as having a very strong sense of justice and a somewhat black and white worldview. (Me)

Finally, her relationship with Harley just SCREAMS neurodivergent solidarity. Harley Quinn is (I think canonically) adhd, and they’re both outsiders in the world that found each other and just… get each other. She’s Ivy’s closest and only friend and amazing girlfriend and god it’s all so perfect.

They remind me a lot of the relationship I have with my best friend with adhd except theirs is gayer.

Can I please request the Batman 2004 version of Joker vs Harley hcs both platonic yandere who don’t wanna share there (forced ) adopted kid with each other, meanwhile reader is eyeing up the strange bat shadow in the corner of the room.

Fun fact! Kevin Michael Richardson is the first African-American to voice/play Joker! (As far as my knowledge is.)

This is of course, based off of the chill/mean Reader.

Joker Vs. Harley. They each have different approaches to getting you to go to their side, both delusional enough to think that if they can get you onto their side, then the other will back off from trying to parent their child.

The thing is that Harley has been shown to have a weak spot for Joker to exploit her, in all of the versions I have seen. [aka, two, but I digress.]

Most likely how it would be that Harley is first to fall into her obsession, and of course, when Joker says to kill you [and or throw you into acid], she stands up for you, noting how calm you've been. So of course, his shock when Harley stands up for herself only because of you? He cares now, ordering Punch to find out more about you, and then becoming obsessed himself.

Harley has the best chance of being the one you go to / who wins the fight between the two, since Harley's been the one sticking up for you.

Joker, however, has more strength and willpower over Harley, not to mention how you would be more scared of Joker [if Reader is scared at all], so you would fear upsetting him and losing your life.

You just sat there watching them argue so much it sounded like two parents who desperately needed to divorce but never would for fear that the child needed both parents. In the corner of your eye, you could see a shadow moving, that is until Joker snaps his finger at you to divert your attention back to them.

"Which one o' us do you prefer?"

Where is my political thriller comics where Jason become the head of an association of Joker's victims, survivors or their families to end him.

Where is my dirty player Red Hood who knows the rules of Gotham games against his dad having a really bad identity crisis between the father philothropist who can't stay neutral and Batman.

Where is my Batman breaking down because Nightwing is the first to support Jay. He already killed the Joker once after all. And all his allies agreeing with Jason.

Where is my Talia making cash raining on New Jersey's officials or blackmailing them through all the companies the League owns if they're reluctant.

Where is Harley training Jay to break Joker's diagnosis of insanity in front of Arkham's board or and Gotham's court.

Where is Harvey Dent who against some guarantees become the Shadow DA.

I want see NJ's congress reinstate death penalty, just for one day day. And banished it the very next day.

Someone making Batman realize it was never about Justice, but his own way of seeing it, now that random gothamites will vote in court, and he is the only reason the clown is still alive. He knows it will be an unanimous vote. Maybe they will act to wait for 5 minutes.

The entire Justice League watching him, because they know he's the only one with a chance to stop Joker's escort.

LENA

Is fully equipped with everyone you might need. She know what you want to eat, your cravings, the type of tea you drink, and has your favorite comfort food place deliver you food. Will drop her meetings if you're in too much pain because she can't focus when she thinks of you curled up on the bed with her not being there to kiss you.

DIANA

Has a lot of experience taking care of period pains. With her upbringing she's learned a lot about how to make things better for other people. She'll treat you gently, she'll bring you to a warm bath and even help you wash up properly, the blood doesn't bother her in the slightest.

HARLEY

Tries to take your mind off the pain as much as she can. You may not want to do a lot physical activities when you get cramps but she will record herself while she's out shopping for you so you get a feeling like you're there with her. Plus then you can tell her what kinds of pads you like most, unless you want her to take boxes upon boxes.

TALIA

Won't tell you to grin and bear it like she's been told to. As soon as she sees the blood stained sheets she goes into protective girlfriend mode, which isn't rare but she's not often as soft. She will visit you every hour and ask you if you have everything you need, if you want her company for a while, if you do she will gladly stay.

SELINA

Kisses her way down your stomach in a way that makes you whimper but she doesn't go past the band of your underwear. Even now she teases you but she won't make you uncomfortable with her advances. There will be time for more intimate activities but for now a good massage might do you a lot of good.

I'm a bitch, a whore, a slut, an impure wench for Bruce and Harley being friends.

Literally I want Harley to be introduced when Bruce scolds Jason and Dick for not being nice to eachother in the middle of a patrol, and they're like, how would YOU know what it's like to have a sibling?

*hysterical laughter and exploding buildings in the background * Bruce sighs. " Trust me. I have a pretty good idea."

SHE NAMED ONE OF HER HYENAS AFTER HIM???? I dare a bitch to even imply Bruce wouldn't take Harley by the hand and gently talk her into getting help.
