Exam Week

*Fifteen minutes later*

college jake x fem reader

synopsis: Jake a college film major records every beautiful moment he has but mostly his best friend who he loves so dearly, he wants to confess but he doesn’t know how to so his friends give him a boost.

“i’ll see you after class yeah?” you said getting up from the lunch table you were sitting at with your friends, “you’re leaving already?” Jake asked pouting at your direction meeting your gaze “yeah my class starts in 5, sorry jakey” you said waving goodbye to them making your way to your last class, “Aw she calls you jakey?” Jay said teasing Jake over the nickname you just called him “look at him he’s blushing” Jungwon added cheesing at jake. “So when are you gonna tell her?” Heeseung asks taking a bite of his burger “tell her what” Jake questioned nervously chewing on his straw from the soda cup he was drinking “don’t act stupid Jake, we all know you like y/n” Sunghoon answered joining in the conversation throwing a tiny wrapper at Jake “I’m not ready to tell her yet” Jake replied looking around at the friend group “well you better tell her before the semester ends, i heard she’s been talking to this guy named-” Sunoo thought for a moment going ‘hmm’ before continuing “Rei from her psychology class” “she told you and not me?” Jake said facing to look at sunoo’s direction “i saw her and Rei talking outside her class and i just asked her about him, she said they were just friends and they exchanged numbers” Sunoo put up his hands defensively “ooo jake has some competition” Niki said amusingly trying to stir up Jake “Niki shut up” Jake said rolling his eyes getting up from the table grabbing his lunch tray and camera “see you guys later” He said walking away from the friend group who has been teasing him about his crush, heading to his cinematography class.

The bell rung making everyone pack their bags quickly making their way to their next class but thankfully for you it was your last class of the day, this semester you didn’t want to take so many classes all at once and it worked in your favor. Stepping out of classroom, you began scanning the halls to look for Jake it was now a routine that he would aways wait for you after this class and go home together. Finally spotting him down two doors holding his camera filming you as you smiled at his direction walking towards him, “You film majors are always filming something” you say walking with Jake by your side “it’s a little project i’m doing” Jake replied pulling you over to the inner side of the hall by your sleeve as he took your spot on the traffic side, “Who’s driving you or me?” You asked fluttering your lashes at Jake wanting to win him over because you in fact did not want to drive “I’ll drive!!” He said chuckling at your cuteness throwing his arm around your shoulder pulling you into him causing your stomach to explode with emotions. Who would you be kidding saying you didn’t feel some type of way towards jake, he has always been there for you no matter the time of day you would call and he’ll reply. One time you invited the guys and a couple of your friends to your apartment to drink and have a good time, and after seeing one of your friends flirt with jake and touch him made you mad with jealousy you couldn’t stand it being in the same room as them, so you drank until you passed out. The next day you found out from Heeseung that Jake was the one who took care of you and even listened to you rambling about god knows what. You got into the passenger side as Jake closed the door for you making his way over to the driver side getting in “ready?” He asked looking at you as you nodded “yup”. He started the car pulling out of the parking lot making his way down the usual road you guys take “ice cream?” Jake asked facing you then looking back at the road as you smiled “you dont have to ask me twice” You replied as he smiled brightly. His camera was sitting on the cup holders so you picked it up turning it on “what are you filming?” you asked him trying find the record button, he stayed silent for a bit before saying “just like a daily routine from my point of view” “aah” you say hitting record and facing the camera towards you “what’s up guys ! welcome back to my youtube channel” you say smiling at the camera hearing jake giggle at you “shut up ! You’re so embarrassing” you hear him say, shaking his head “am not!” you say lightly hitting his shoulder because he was driving “anyways ! we’re going to get ice cream at our go to spot, jakey/n vlog !!” you say once again to the camera then stretching your arm out with the camera getting jake in the frame too as you smile big and wave a peace sign “there ! now you have more content and memories” you said turning off the camera

Jake sat on the bench by the river recording the sunset waiting for you to come with his ice cream, he wanted to go and get it but you wanted it to be fair since he drove all the way to the ice cream shop so he just let you. He finally sees you skipping towards him once again biting back a smile facing the camera towards you “here you go Jake” You say stretching your arm out to hand him his ice cream, “thank you” he says taking his ice cream setting the camera down in front of you two sitting back down next to you as his knee touched yours sending electricity down your whole body, after a few bites Jake was eating his ice cream deliciously making you crave some of his “can i have some” you asked biting down on your spoon looking at his ice cream “You already have yours” he says hiding his ice cream from you “come on jakeee~” you pout at him now sitting crisscrossed on the bench facing him “just one small bite ! i’ll give you some of mine” you add hoping he says yes “no way i don’t want yours” he says sticking strong to his answer, you start tugging onto his sweater pulling him back and forth “pleasee~” you ask one last time as he looks at you melting at the sight of you pouting “fine” he smiles at you letting out soft chuckle sound that made his shoulders shake, giving up he scooped the ice cream with his spoon facing it towards you to take a bite “aah” he said making you open your mouth repeating his “aah”

It’s been two days since your outing with Jake, and today the guys which included Heeseung,Sunghoon and Jay decided to go out for drinks since it was a Saturday and you agreed. Jake said no at first because he had homework but changed his mind shortly after you responded ‘yes’ in the group chat, “lets not drive tonight we can get a cab later” You implied as they agreed. You finally make it to the restaurant bar where you spot the four of them sitting, you take a seat next to Heeseung facing Jake who is in front of you giving you his famous eye smile “lets order!” jay said reading the menu. Not long after three of you were drunk, Sunghoon was zoning out staring into nothing but fighting to keep his eyes open as Heeseung was being the loudest talking about his beliefs in aliens as you hiccuped laughing trying to cover his mouth going ‘sshhh’. Jay just shook his head in embarrassment apologizing to the people around us, “cheers!” you say loudly clinking glasses with Heeseung swinging your head back taking the shot wiping your mouth with the back of your hand looking towards Jake seeing him staring at you “hey! why aren’t you drinking” you say drunkenly pouring him another drink spilling some of it “i think i had enough for tonight” he says taking the bottle from your hand as he looked at his full shot glass “shots! shots ! shots ! shots! ” Heeseung sings as you laugh chanting along with Heeseung “no i’m okay for now” Jake says shaking his head “pft party pooper” Heeseung responds resting his head on the table “i think we should go” Jay suggests as Jake agrees calling over for the bill. The waitress comes over handing the bill to Jake as you sit back admiring jake as his eyes scan the bill pouting his lips nodding at everything on the bill checking to see if it was correct “Thank you” he says handing the waitress his debit card for him to pay “oh i love your accent!” the waitress says standing closer to jake to hear him better, your eyes quickly shift to her reading her body language as you send her a hostile glare frowning your eyebrows that she doesn’t seem to notice but Jake pick up instead smirking at your jealousy showing. Jake tells the waitress that he’s from australia and whats he’s majoring in as she rests a hand on his shoulders laughing at whatever Jake was saying to her “he’s not even that funny” you say quiet enough for you to hear letting out a hiccup “i’m going home” You say getting up wobbling a little leaving the table as Jay quickly walks over to support you so you don’t fall. Jake was trying to hold back a smile but he couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear, he got his receipt and woke up Sunghoon and Heeseung. “Jake are you going to take her home?” Jay asked still holding on to you “Yeah, you head back with the guys” Jake said switching spots with jay. Jake got you into the cab quickly sitting next to you giving the cab driver your address, you rested your head on his shoulders still frowning from before “why do you let random people touch you like that?” you drunkenly asked in a quiet tone and before Jake could respond you added “Especially in front of me! Jake you’re mine! i don’t want anyone else touching you” You say the last part quietly again wrapping your arms around him taking in his scent as you closed your eyes on his chest, if you weren’t drunk you could’ve heard his heart thumping against his chest and seen his cheeks going red. You were gradually falling asleep before you heard jake mumble “im sorry baby” kissing your head then resting his head on yours caressing your back.

You woke up feeling like absolute shit rubbing the sleep out your eyes feeling a dip on the other side of the bed, turning to see jake sleeping with his arm out where your head was laid a few moments ago and his other arm under his head with his mouth slightly parted open and his bangs covering his eyes. Your heart was palpitating wildly at the sight, you quickly get up to go wash up. You step out and see Jake on your bed now awake on his phone “how are you feeling?” he asks “better ! i don’t even remember how i got home” you chuckled trying to remember if you made a fool of yourself “we’ll thats good that you’re okay! i guess you don’t need care taker Jake today” He said getting up “nooo you can stay!” you say not wanting him to leave just yet “i have to go finish homework” he said giving you his puppy eyes as you pout “but i’ll be back!” he added quickly as you smiled nodding back “promise?” you said standing in front of Jake sticking your pinky out as he intertwined it with his “promise! i’ll see you later” he says ruffling your hair walking to the door waving goodbye before closing the door behind him. Jake kept his promise and returned to your apartment a couple hours later to keep you company while your roommate was away, he sat across from you helping you with your homework as you complained about never using it in the real world.

A week has passed since Jake heard your mini confession towards him, which he never mentioned to you but this gave him a boost to tell you how he really feels. He told the guys his plan on how he wanted to do it and they thought it was such a good idea and they were willing to help so Jungwon came up with a plan.

“hi hi” you say taking a seat next to Jake smiling at your friends as you hear their greetings back to you “But yeah Jake you should definitely send in that video”Jungwon continues their previous conversation before you came “You worked hard on it im sure you’ll get a good grade” Sunghoon added as you looked at Jake confused “i don’t know guys i feel like i’m missing something, what if it’s the same concept as others in the class?” Jake said sighing looking stress “What video? that daily routine video?” as he nodded back “show y/n ! you always take her advice over ours anyways”Sunoo said rolling his eyes as you giggle at his sass nodding at the idea “Do you want to see it?” Jake asks “of course Jake” you say sending him a reassuring smile “Okay i’ll show you later at your place” you both agree to meet up after school again. The whole day you noticed Jake looking so nervous about his video project even on the drive back home he was somewhat quiet, You both passed by the usually 7/11 store by your apartment complex getting some of Jake’s favorite snacks. You held his hand swinging it back and forth walking back to your apartment as he quietly ate his popsicle with his free hand. “Okay come come!” you say patting the empty spot next to you on the sofa as you set up your laptop, “aah im nervous for you to see” He says letting out a mini scream giggling shaking his head standing in front of you “come on Jake! you always do this!” You say laughing at him being cute “im nervous!!” he responds playing with the usb in his hands “give it jake!” You say stretching your hand out for it as he steps back shaking his head smiling “i’m sure its a good video! now hand it over” You say once again opening your palm. He thought about it for a moment reading your eyes before letting out a sigh slowly placing it in your hand “now sit” you say pulling his arm to sit him next to you. “okay ready?” you say after plugging it into your laptop before clicking play, he shakes his head letting out a soft giggle playing with his hands “well im going to click play, okay?” You respond looking at him still looking down but nodding “i’m sure its fine jakey!” you say bringing his head next to yours giving him a hug before clicking play. The screen now began to change from black to the usual lunch table you guys always sat at picking up on the conversation Jay and Sunghoon we’re having, bickering about Jay wearing sunglasses when it wasn’t even sunny outside, you giggled remembering that day. Then the camera started being lifted as you saw yourself coming into frame smiling at your best friends “y/nnn~” your friends called to you as you sat down in front the Jake who was filming you “hey! put that down” you said playfully frowning at the camera covering it with your hand as Jake’s giggle was heard, the video then cut to you at the beach running around holding hands with Niki trying to get away from Heeseung and Jay chasing after you two, the camera zoomed into you specifically following you around as your laughs and screams were being heard “cute” jake said softly from behind the camera still following your tracks. Hearing Jake call you ‘cute’ made you blush turning to him to give him a playful nudge as he also stared right back at you and smiled, your heart was picking up a speed. The clip then changed to you and Jake inside the 7/11 on an Thursday afternoon around 3 AM getting snacks as you walked in front of him stoping to grab a pastry scanning it over with your eyes turning to Jake “should we get this?” looking at him then noticing the camera slowly forming a smile on your face “yeah go ahead” Jake said coming closer to you getting up in your face with the camera as you laughed pushing the camera away, He got a clip of you scanning the items at self checkout and then recorded your intertwined hands as you walked back home.

You smiled remembering the exuse you told Jake “Do you remember what i told you for you to hold my hand?” You said giggling as he nodded “yeah, so nobody that late at night would go up to you and bother you because you were with your boyfriend” he said cheesing as you felt your cheeks go hot hearing him say boyfriend, you turned your direction back to the screen it was you now sitting next to Jake at a table at the park eating ice cream that started melting in your hand because you were eating it too slow “nooo” you said licking it off from the sides preventing it to drip onto your clothes as Jake swung his head back from laughter reaching into his bag next to the camera pulling out extra napkins for you “i knew you’d make a mess” he said holding the spoon in his mouth as he wiped it off your hands “im never getting a cone again!” you frowned watching him clean the sticky ice cream off your hand. “why are these clips just me?” you say embarrassed “Just watch” Jake says feeling his heart thump as he held your hand, you send him a suspicious look squinting your eyes together. The next clip was familiar, it was at Jay’s birthday party which you didn’t remember after a couple of drinks. You were playing beer pong with your partner being Heeseung against these other two people in your grade, You and Heeseung kept loosing taking shots every time the opposite team made it in leaving you guys with empty solo cups. You made your way over to Jake mumbling “where were you?” looking up at him with your tinted cheeks wrapping your arms around his waist “i missed you” you added with your face disappearing from the camera only seeing the back of your head for it bit “oh my god jake this is so embarrassing!!” You screech covering your face as jake giggled “watch” he said moving your hands away from your face holding them on his lap running his thumb over them “you can’t let your class see this!” you say regretting being drunk. You turn your attention back to the video once again, you were on your nightly walks with jake this time it looks like it was winter since you were wearing layers, turning back to face him seeing him recording as you stood and posed for the camera throwing up your usual peace sign “come here” You say gesturing with your hand as you hear the snow crunch with his steps, you take the camera away from him now facing it up to him “okay now i’ll take a picture of you” you say stepping back as he shyly giggles copying your pose with you saying 1 2 3 in the back “now one together” He says reaching back for his camera turning it to face you two, you tiptoed to lean your head on his shoulder and him leaning his head on to yours. “Jake” you say stepping back down “hmm?” He replied softly with his sparkling eyes looking into yours but the camera now facing down at your shoes “i love you” you say quietly at him as he took a couple seconds before responding back “i love you y/n” closing the gap between you pulling you in a hug as the camera was squished up against your padded jacket.

You had a mix of emotions not knowing how to feel after that last clip, but still confused why this would be apart of his daily routine video. “Y/n” you hear Jake say next to you clearing his throat, as you blink away a couple tears facing him “i made that daily routine project up, this is what i wanted to do” Jake added pointing to the laptop, you still sat there confused “Sooo?” He cut you off “y/n i really like you a lot okay” he said now trying to read your face as you sat there feeling your heart beat faster than before “and i want to continue making memories with you like in those videos, those are the best memories i have and i never want to forget them” he continued as your vision started getting blurry with your tears. “i want to be there for you all the time i want to be the person you always reach out to y/n, i want to be yours” He said reaching to wipe your eyes from your tears spilling as you let out a soft chuckle “Jake this is the sweetest thing ever” you sniff “I love you jake” You say with your lips quivering “you’ve always been my person Jakey” you add giggling pulling him in for a hug “Do you want to be my girlfriend” He asked holding on to you “like officially” he added causing you to giggle “i would love to” you say pulling back to give him a kiss that you’ve always thought about but feeling the taste of your salty tears as he held onto your waist gently. You guys sat there on your couch in each other embrace as he told you about your confession in that taxi cab and you covering yourself with a cushion from embarrassment.

My new rules for myself

Try not to eat high cal foods unless it’s in front of someone else (you need to keep others thinking that you DO eat normal, but you don’t have to eat more than it takes to convince others)

No more than ONE sweet a day (you are a fat ass, and you will binge a whole tray of brownies if your not careful. Never eat more than ONE)

No excuses about exercising (aw, your a little sore? Get over it. Do at least 5 miles, unless your in extreme pain, or physically can not exercise, there is no excuse.)

Do more than cardio. (You KNOW that muscle burns more calories than fat, you also know that your tummy looks frumpy even if your skinny… unless you tone it up. Don’t be lazy, you have no excuses. Do your workouts)

Always be moving (sitting down? Wiggle your toes or bounce your feet. Laying in bed? Do leg raises, or side leg raises, and move your arms some. Standing in line? Shift weight from one leg to another. Even small movements burn more cal than if you weren’t doing them.)

Only binge on foods that don’t matter (your high and wanna binge? Okay, eat watermelon, have an ice pop, have some broccoli, or strawberries. NO JUNK, save your junk food for your sober mind to decide on)

Stay active on rest days (you get one day a week to not exercise, that however does NOT mean be lazy. Instead, clean your room, play with your dog, go swimming, clean the kitchen, do anything to get some passive movements in. Your resting your exercises muscles today, NOT your whole body.)

No lying to yourself. (You binged? You went over on cals? Ate too much of a cal dense food? LOG IT. Telling yourself “I know I messed up, I don’t need to log it to know it” has to stop. You need to be honest with your future self, she’ll ask “why didn’t I lose any weight this week??” And she deserves to look back and see why. That and lying to your app just sets yourself for failure. You won’t know how much to restrict to make it up.)

Fruit/veggie fast the day after a high cal day. (You fucked up. Get over it, and fix it. Only eat low cal fruits and vegetables the next day, you’ll feel full but still be in a cal deficit. You may be starving, but you don’t need to feel it.)

Rules I’ll be implementing when school (college) starts back up

At least one day a week, eat less than 500 cal.

Meal prep low cal high nutrient foods. (You need protein, you DONT need extra calories. Boil some chicken, shred it, add some low cal seasoning. Do NOT add unnecessary things like oils, mayo, ranch, cream cheese NO. You want the protein that why you eat. Not for enjoyment)

You have a free gym membership, use it. (Oh, it’s ‘embarrassing’ working out in front of others? Get tf over it. You need to use the treadmill, and the stair master can burn EVEN MORE. Get over yourself and do it)

Bad weather isn’t an excuse. (It’s snowing? Tuff luck. Walk your ass to the gym and go on the treadmill. Its raining? Same thing, walk your ass to the gym and work out. Excuses build fat.)

Eat within your calorie deficit every day. (you have roommates? Worried the will notice how little you eat? Say you eat breakfast in your room, they don’t know what you keep there. They start acting worried? Wake up before them, say you ate. Get home after them, say you ate out. Lie.)

Rules for once I hit my UGW (125lbs)

Don’t stop. (So, your skinny now? So what. You can still look better. You can still lose fat. It’s time to focus on BUILDING muscle. Of course, not too much you don’t want to look like a man, but enough that you could be a swimsuit model.)

Track with Pictures more than anything (the plan is to build some muscle while cutting fat still now, yeah? So the number on the scale won’t be a completely accurate reflection of your efforts anymore {this does not mean stop weighing yourself}. You can look skinnier and weigh more with muscle, and we care about LOOKS not numbers)

Don’t let the doc.’s know. (This is where building muscle can come in handy. You don’t want to be stopped, so weigh a “healthy” weight, but let that “healthy” weight come from muscle, not fat. They never have to know.)

Don’t get bulky. (Yes, we’ve now switched mindsets from LOSING weight to GAINING muscle. That does not mean get bulky. Your goal is to look like a activewear model. Toned, fit, strong, but still dainty.)

Don’t stop cardio. (Cardio is what will KEEP you lean. Adding strength training does not allow you to cut out cardio. Remember, we NEVER want to look bulky.)

mod wonder - for weird drink concoctions, i love mixed drinks, like cranberry and apple juice or a variety of soda mixes. for food, depends on what you’d count as weird. oh except, don’t cancel me for this, i eat damp cheerios. i can’t have liquid milk, or any kind, but hard cheerios are sometimes too dry for me, so i add a little tiny bit of water to make them damp, but not full on wet. i also eat matzah with charoset or butter, which isn’t really weird, but might be to someone who’s not jewish

Mod Luxray 🐈‍⬛️⚡️- OKOK SO FOOD watermelon, Tajin, creole seasoning, and whipped cream[cool whip works best], mush it all up and freeze it, you get a sweet with a slight spice sorbet-icecream ass things its SO GOOD. Drinks have to be Lime Jarritos, brisk ice tea-lemonade, and milk/cream, creates a cream soda type thing, back story for both is my mommas friend growin up would always make these for me while i was in the hospital, which was alot, so its become something of a comfort food

People get upset with me over gummy bears in blended custards though. Like those blended custards at Rita’s? Love gummy bears in those. It reminds me of the good memories I still have of my family.

Mod Weeping ❤️ - Mac and cheese and peas, mac and cheese and plain lays or salt and vi what lays in between bread (Mac and cheese chip sandwhich 😎), mayo on peas-, spaghetti and peas, and chicken sandwhich with mac and cheese (preferably baked mac and cheese tho?). Mac and cheese and peas was a childhood thing, the Mac and cheese and chip sandwhich was something my brother and I made up, the mayo on peas is something my hip moms family taught me and they called it “cowboy peas” and said it was a southern USA thing but I have never met another person who did this so they may have been lying lmfao, spaghetti and peas was something an upstairs neighbor did and we had to eat it or not eat basically-, the mac and cheese chicken sandwhich was bc of that Chick-fil-A TikTok hack that went around for a bit. Also, and this is a PICA thing that we just never stopped doing, those fucking paper lollipop sticks bro- also some middle eastern foods and thing that ppl generally dont like in the USA unless they’re from there? Various things we ate bc we had PICA as a kid but I don’t count those. And then drinks idk. (Fuck that was so long sorry-). Oh wait- also something a little in our Sys likes- is these wack ass snack concoctions she makes of really spicy chips plus sweet cereal (like O’s) plus something more “plain” like pretzel balls she picks the salt off of

~Most definitely annoying you right at the ass crack of dawn with warm/cold beverage and slightly burned of whatever S/O favorite food is. Though will deny any involvement of the holiday or if S/O insists his trying to make a day seem special. “I’m just trying to spoil my favorite person!” Yay okay Dazai, whateeeever you say. But hey, he tried at the very least. All morning his dropping the cheesiest and romantic poems out of the book. They probably make S/O laugh more then anything but its still a thoughtful gesture.

~The cheese factor doesn’t decrease at the ADA (much to Kunikida’s dismay). Expect to be peeked along the lips and cheeks a lot more then any other day of the week.

~I can honestly see him making crafts at his desk instead of doing paper work. Makes a little heart cut out for all of his co workers O3O. Still in denial >.>

~After work, it’s straight to S/O favorite restaurant for dinner. What? His being spontaneous! It’s been a long week, time to unwind S/O! He gueeeessses he’ll get the bill this time, but dont get use to it!

~Overall its a mostly nice and peaceful evening. Dazai and S/O are having a lovely chat about the day. They may catch a loving glance every once in awhile in Dazai’s eyes. It’s enough to make him smirk and make his S/O melt in his seat.

~Wrapping up the evening is a nice bubble bath and following is a movie night wrapped up in each other and their favorite blankets.

~Forget the ADA, him and S/O are going to all the sweets shops in town!

~Indulge with him a little in feeding each others different types of cakes and candy. Will swipe his thumb under S/O lips to remove any whip cream before putting it in his own mouth to taste.

~ While S/O is distracted by yummy drinks, this is the time he’ll give them the most vibrant flowers they’ve ever seen. “Where were you keeping those?” “Ssshhhh, just take them!” He asked Poe to keep them fresh for him

~After dropping off the flowers in some water at home. Ranpo has one more place to drag you off to! With a few missed turns and detours of course ^^’.

~S/O might be a little surprised when he leads them to the beach, where a blanket is laid out in the sand (Though its a little blown away, nothing a quick tug at the corners won’t fix.) Regardless, as long as his S/O his happy, it was well worth it in the end. They sit listening to the crashing waves, huddle close to each other. Laughing and snacking on candy as if nothing else matter in the world.

~Sneaks a loving kiss mid sentence to seal the deal.

~”Now what were you saying darling?”

~Shows up on S/O doorstep with either their favorite flowers and or chocolate, accompanied by a small but flattering piece of jewelry. He can’t help the blush on his cheeks when his S/O hugs him in appreciation. Also expect a long sweet kiss before arriving at the ADA for the day. Once he walks through those doors its strictly buisness. But thats okay. S/O understands.

~Thhhouuugh if you show off his little gift to the other ADA members he will become flustered, while also swelling with some pride on the inside.

Dazai: Wow Kunikida, so you do have some taste~

Kunikida: WHATS THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN

~After the work day is finished. Kunikida hands S/O a bag with a simple but elegant outfit for them to change into. Surprise! He has dinner reservations at S/O favorite restaurant. His also wearing something pleasing to look at ^^

~Pleasent evening with shared conversations, loving glances, and a relaxed Kunikida. A sight to see, but one that is enjoyed.

~ Okay but like… imagine sharing a little slow dance right outside his shared appartment with S/O before finally retiring for the night. I’d pass away from melting

~Seeing his relaxed sleepy face first thing in the morning is a gift itself. As soon as he senses S/O rustling around, his wrapping his arms around S/O and pulling them close. Peppering kisses along their jaw and whispering sweet affections in their ear.

~Today’s a day he decided to arrive late into the ADA. He takes his time having breakfast with S/O and presents them with a small gift, something S/O has had there eye on for some time.

~Orders their favorite food for lunch and they share it together in his office with the door closed off to the other ADA members.

~Brushes the hair away from their neck to place a tender kiss between their shoulders. Enough to make their S/O shiver and it brings a smile to his face before having to return to his work.

~After working hours, Fukuzawa wants to have an evening in. Preparing a home cooked meal along side his S/O and putting on their favorite show/movie.

~Carries S/O to bed if they fall asleep on him during the moving. Lovingly tucks them in and joins them. Once again whispering how grateful he is to have someone so wonderful.

~Hear me out, yes the man has money to spoil his S/O with. Buuuut what about going to a drive in movie theater with him? Double feature, popcorn, drinks, and whatever snacks their lover wants.

~During the movie trailers he surprised you with an extravagant piece of jewelry of S/O taste. Def helps S/O clasps it in its proper place.

~Followed by lots of loving kiss and sweet affection *Swoons*

~Probably rents out a car for this occasion so he can have some privacy with cuddle his S/O in the back. If S/O gets cold he offers them his jacket that is covered in his natural scent and cologne *Double swoon*

~After the movie ends at nearly 1am, I can see him offering to take S/O out to eat at whatever place may be open so late. Imagine getting the food to go but eating it in the parking lot of said restaurant. Casually conversing about the movie.

~By the time him and S/O are dragging their feet through the door, it is most defiantly time for bed. Maybe a quick shower and a change into comfortable pjs. Cuddling close to each other basking in each others shampoo scent until Chuuya once again finds you in his dreams.

~This one will be the toughest out of everyone. He isn’t exactly well versed in making something special for anyone. But Prehaps with some help from Gin, he does attempt. Key word. Attempt.

~For Aktugawa, I think it would be really sweet if his S/O were to help guide him in his endeavors. Struggling to make breakfast? Let’s do it together! No clue on jewelry? Open the conversation. He’ll be attentive to S/O answers. His not really a people person? The park is a nice open space, or Prehaps a night in with movies, or something of a similar manner.

~Fooorehead kisses, please don’t bring it up. He really is trying his best. If S/O kisses his back, he is a meeesssss.

~Couch nap? Couch nap. S/O laying their head on his chest while he gently runs his fingers through their hair while they drift off for a afternoon nap. Yes.

i was raised in a low spice household and am genuinely curious what spices you put on your veggies and in cream cheese if you dont mind me asking??

Oh it depends on the vegetable, alhough you already get far with butter or a nice olive oil and salt and pepper.

If you have an outside spot like a garden or a balcony I'd get some living herbs, like thyme, rosemary, mint, chives, laurel, basically the list of frost safe herbs (If you live somewhere hotter you can go crazy)

Then for dried spices start with a cabinet with all the ones you know, and add some spice mixes, they're a good starting point. I go to asian, eastern and african shops and I get their blends, I have tajine and shoarma mixes I throw in a lot.

Look up articles like "X ways to prepare X vegeatble" (pinterest is good for finding these) and try some things out.

Look around the word and if a style of cooking is known for using a vegetable, take their advice. If it's an asian vegatable try out the different ways the local countries prepare them. If it's a cabbage try out some European stews. etc etc

If you have friends who can cook ask if you can cook together and split the cost of the ingredients, and then pay attention to what they do.

Go to the 2nd hand shop and get a cookbook, doesn't have to be about vegetables specifically just get one that strikes your fancy. I have an older French one that's just about cooking with cheese but every recipe comes with a bunch of vegetables too. Basically the more you can motivate yourself the faster you'll learn so keep it fun!

I was gonna write a tag essay on my last post, but its easier to TW if I dont write it out in the tags. But anyway, my doctor told me to watch my cholesterol cuz its pretty high. Having high cholesterol actually explained a LOT of the health issues I was experiencing and so I've been pretty good about keeping an eye on it.

I'm actually really proud of myself for not getting TOO intense about it though. Usually when I "diet" i GO ON A DIET and I have tons of rules and I'm counting everything and I'm going all in. Here I am just casually keeping an eye on the cholesterol I'm consuming and its been....totally fine. No craziness. I dont feel like I'm failing or going to binge or like I've fucked up and have to start over because I ate some fried eggs today or whatever.

I work in a coffee shop and we get free food, and I eat that stuff every day. So I identified what kinds of food had lower cholesterol levels and I've been eating those. There's a vegan sandwich we have that actually slaps severely and it really hasnt been any issue to eat that or like... a carrot muffin or a vegan chocolate chip cookie, instead of a croissant or something.

I switched my cream in my coffee to oat milk which I also like. Its literally been like no big deal. And I had eggs this morning. Eggs are pretty high in cholesterol but I'm not going to live a life where I dont ever eat fried eggs and cheese on toast. Its just a matter of knowing that its a less-often kind of food instead of three mornings a week.

I dunno I feel like I developed a really good anti-diet foundation and its really helped when going into being told that I need to watch a certain aspect of my diet. I go back in August to check again on my blood work and I'm really hoping it reflects well.

My doctor didnt even tell me like "Watch your cholesterol, heres how" she literally just went "Your cholesterol is high, you're obese, go on a diet and exercise." without asking me anything about what I eat or my activity levels. SO its more or less up to me to be normal about it, since she will not be.

I HAVE lost about 15 pounds in the last month-and-change, which to me is indicating that what i'm doing is DOING something. So I'm hopeful. Because compared to other stuff I've done, like keto or being vegan, or weight watchers, or calorie counting... this is so fucking easy dude. I'm literally just eating different stuff that I also like.

I woke up to a empty bed but not exactly cold. He was recently here I knew it. And he left without saying anything or even waking me up.

I have no one to blame but myself. I was warned by the person who used to live in my appartment. She was apprently very scorned so I took everything with a grain of salt. Colin always stopped by in the morning.

Now I'm seeing that she wasn't as scorned as I thought but mearly wanted to worn me from falling for his I'm not so bad boy sweet musican act.

He didn't even wake me he could have. He could have said goodbye or something.

"Half of me was wondering if I went to my apartment if you'd be in there."

"You were sleeping but you'd have to go back there eventually."

"You know I was warned about you. You didnt even wake me up."

"You were sleeping so soundly I couldn't bare to wake that angelic face."

"But you didn't even ask me what I wanted...."

"You know what earns you even more points?"

"What. Wait. I'd like to figure this one out for myself I do fancy myself as a detective of all sorts. Ready for your interrogation...again?" He smirked.

I am once again going to emphasize that ice sports are not common where I live, therefore I don't know everything about them. I write about them bc they're fascinating, so apologies if this is inaccurate or if I'm interpreting the sport wrong :,3

I like to think that Vector and Tails are the goalies. Vector because he's larger and can physically block the goal, and Tails because he's agile and can think fast (if that makes any sense).

Blaze and Sonic are definitely the most offensive on the team, so they're the wings. They're the ones who rush toward the puck and shoot most of the goals, since they're the fastest.

Knuckles and Amy are the defense, blocking the other team when they can because of how physically strong they are. (They're also in the penalty box the most often for this reason lol)

Espio is the strategist for the team. He sits out for the first few minutes (since you can only have so many players on the ice at one time) and figures out what the opposing team is about (like specific weaknesses, patterns that they can exploit, that sort of thing) (this is inspired by someone on my college's hockey team lmao). He's definitely the center (the guy who deals with the face offs) because he can analyze where to hit the puck.

The other players on the team are well-rounded, so they fill in where they need to.

I'm not super familiar with IDW (I'm still reading it, which is why I'm hesitant to expand upon Tangle and Whispers characters even though I've mentioned them), but I think Jewel might be the manager? Maybe? If not her, then maybe Vanilla.

Speaking of, Vanilla is the unofficial Team Mom. She brings Cream and Cheese to all of the games and is always the loudest in the crowd (and she makes snacks for them ofc).

Shadow, when he was on the team, probably would have been on offense like Sonic, though I think they would compete more with each other than with the opposing team to get the puck lol.

I'm not really sure what role Jet played on the team just yet. However, I am sure that he spent the most time in the penalty box.

Also to elaborate on the temporary hiatus, it's only partially bc of how insecure I am about the story/ characterizations. I joined the Sonic Big Bang event and I've been working on my fic for that (it has to be an entirely new fic lol). Between that, college, work, and my own figure skating practice, I've been super busy lmao

Green Leafy Croutons

The title's clickbait, it's just salad and bread. But with a ✨twist✨.

TW: raw chicken, knives, eggs, human blood

I'm gonna try out the recipe i had mentioned in chapter 2 of Break Down. My parents put this rule that me and the oldest sibling after me have to cook lunch and dinner ourselves on the weekends so after much toiling, i remembered that i had a recipe in one of my fics. So I decided to try it out. Except, i'm gonna change up some ingredients cuz they're not available and turn this into a salad with a side of toasted bread rather than a legit sandwich.

Here's the extract from the fic:

He was flashed back to a morning when Alfred was on a vacation and Jason and Tim were alone in the manor with Bruce. Since Bruce couldn’t cook to save his life, it was up to Jason and Tim to make breakfast. Alfred had said that he trusted Jason with his kitchen before he left. Tim hadn’t known what that meant, but he soon found out when Jason set out ingredients and started ordering Tim around on what to do. Within a short while, three halloumi cheese, salad, avocado, salami, and rye bread sandwiches with cream cheese and scrambled eggs were sitting on the table. It was Jason’s own recipe. And it was delicious.

So, Tim grabbed the ingredients from what he could remember and brought them back to Dick’s apartment. Setting them out, he got to work. He cooked the halloumi on the pan, chopped the tomatoes, parsley, and onions, mashed the avocado, cracked the eggs and mixed them with salt and a bit of chili. After the cheese was a light brown color, he set them aside on a plate and warmed the bread on the pan with the heat off. With all the mis en place done, he started assembling the sandwiches.

Dick, somehow, slept through the whole thing. Either he was knocked out, or he was really tired. Tim was slightly relieved that he wasn’t awake though. It meant that he had some more time to ponder things alone with no distractions.

He ate his sandwich and chewed in contempt, recalling the memory of when he made this with Jason.

I'm making this in bulk for like around 6 ppl with various different likes and dislikes btw so keep that in mind. Now let's move on to the mis en place!

Ingredients:

Tomatoes

Onions

Lettuce/parsely

Chicken

Halloumi cheese/Bri cheese

Bread

Avocado

Cream cheese (optional)

Chili

Salt

Pepper

Lemon

Oil

Ginger garlic paste/chopped garlic

That's all I can think of for now. A note on measurements: don't ask me. Heck if i know. As Jason said, "The thing about original recipes is that you measure things with your heart. You have a meeting with your soul then take it to your brain and let your hands do the work." Wise words indeed. I admire the person who came up with them.

On with the cooking!

A note on the chicken: Am I totally winging the cutting the chicken part while having 0% real experience in cutting chicken before? Totally.

Alr i asked my parents and my dad said to cut it into long french fry-like strips cuz that's what salads have and-

Anyway, we're done

Oil in pan and heat up ft. my messy stove that hasn't been cleaned for 30172496 years.

Ginger garlic paste. If you dont have that, then chopped garlic.

Salt, chili, black pepper, ginger garlic paste

Put chicken in pan. Careful of oil splashes. That shit be flying.

Now add the stuff i told you before. Some GG paste, some black pepper, some salt, some chili. My desi instincts are telling me to put more chili. Oops.

Now you mix-

Wait.

Hold up.

*narrows eyes* This be looking a little too WHITE. Imma add more chili.

Might add more pepper and salt along with it.

Now you mix again and-

It still be looking a little white but eh. It'll sort itself out later. Hopefully.

Now put a lid on it and put it on low flame and wait till the water evaporates.

Till then, you can clear up the mess you made while in your hurry to get stuff. I need to pray Maghrib. But you can get started on the next step (if indeed you are following along and actually making this with me. If you're here for entertainment, that's cool too, you cna have the leftovers /j)

Alright, I'm back. I checked on the chicken and eyvfrbkead it's still WHITE. It's the water and ik the spices will absorb into the meat eventually, but i couldn't smell it all that strongly... so i added more salt and chili.

If the chicken ends up making my family visit the hospital to get a tongue and throat transplant, then it's not my fault. It's its own fault for not looking like the color of my skin.

Moving on! (Unlike your criminal past- jk jk. I swear it's a joke)

Time for choppy choppy.

I like to use a cerated knife. Don't ask my why. I just do. It's easier for me.

You then dice the tomatoes into small cubes. But i... did not.

Despite my height, i cannot chop tomatoes into short pieces. I cannot cop tomatoes period. Why? Because i don't usually cook.

Alright, i do cook but only occasionally cuz being a high school student and the oldest daughter in an ambitious and studious desi family means that you don't have time for a lot of things and therefor you become a dissapointment.

At least I know how to make biryani ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Time to stir and check on the chicen!

Look... i dont know whether that's good or bad, but i'm just gonna let it be for now.

Now... time for the most dangerous part of the recipe.

Onions.

I've peeled the onion and my eyes are already burning with the pain and sorrow of a million ogres.

Is it just me or is this onion be looking a little fishy?

I just checked the chicken again and a bit of it got stuck at the bottom oopsie. A reminder to stir your chicken, kids. May your chicken be forever stirred.

And it's looking rightfully white on the inside (like me) so i'm just gonna switch off the stove and put the lid back on and let it cook on the switched off stove.

Back to onions! *sobs*
