☾ a/n: when i'm having a hard time i wish for these very specific scenarios, so i wrote them all down. ignore spelling errors and enjoy <3 pairings: enhypen x g/n reader

JAKE

he would immediately know just by your demeanor 

your sniffles, your head down with a serious face - he knows you too well 

“are you okay?” he would place his hand on yours and hold it tightly 

he would lift up your face with his hands and tilt his head in confusion like a puppy 😞 

when you try to walk away from him cus your embarrassed and don’t want people to see you he would grab your hand and drag you somewhere alone and keep saying “wait why why?” 

he would give the tightest hug but the type where he would put his hand on your head and run his fingers through your hair while saying “its okay its okay i got you” 

he would keep reassuring you about how it’s fine if he even has to miss class to stay with you 

he knows you're embarrassed so he keeps going “tsk stopp~ never be too scared to come to me, okay?” while rubbing your back 

JUNGWON

he can see your nose turning red and your eyes glistening from a mile away and he hates to see it happen :( 

he’d forrow his eyebrows in confusion while reaching to grab your hand 

if you get up to leave and go to the bathroom to get yourself together you’d walk out and he’d be waiting for you 

grabs your face with his hands and wipes your tears while saying “suddenly? what happened?” 

he keeps looking at you while caressing your cheeks with his thumbs :((((((

you don’t answer and he hugs you and says “its okay its okay. you don’t have to say anything, in here now” 

when he’s hugging you he would keep rubbing your back and tracing lines on it - whispering that its all going to be okay 

SUNGHOON

he wouldn’t notice it immediately but sensed something was wrong because you weren’t teasing him like you normally do

he keeps glancing at you and then when you make eye contact he looks away and then stares again when you divert your attention 

gets fidgety and is unsure of what to do

he would get his water bottle and hand it to you - “have some water, do you want my jacket?” 

he would hold your hand under the table and quietly whisper “don’t cry~” 

the whole day after that he would keep you in his line of sight, giving you little treats and giving you extra attention 

after the day ends he would go home and text you a long message about how he cares so much about you and apologize for being unsure of how to comfort you

JAY

you always wonder why you even try hiding your emotions from this man when he can read you like a book 

he ALWAYS knows 

serious pouty mode ON! 

he immediately asks you what happened making sure not to sound so panicky despite him being so worried 

when he sees that you’re crying more he goes “ohhhh no no” and kiss your forehead and then look right into your eyes while saying “its okay its okay you can cry” 

very aware of the fact that you might not want attention on you so he will pull you somewhere private to talk 

respectful of boundaries. “do you want a hug?” always asks first

the rest of the day he would not keep his eyes off of you. he’ll talk to you in the sweetest voice ever and be SO GENTLE 

NIKI

he would hear you sniffling with your head down and he would shift his head down to your level and look right at you 

he would blink his eyes in confusion and go “did i say something wrong?” 

he teases you a lot so he’s worried if he said something out of pocket 

you shake your head saying no and he would giggle and say “whew” 

but when he hears you crying more he quickly goes “why why why?” while reaching to side hug you 

he would squeeze your shoulders and go “its okay.. don’t cry please” 

he would try to keep making jokes to lighten the mood 

“who do i need to beat up?!” he would say and then chuckle 

HEESEUNG

doesn’t even ask questions he just hugs you 

rests his chin on your head because he’s taller than you and says “who hurt my baby?” 

would pull away look at your face chuckle slightly and say “you’re so cute, please don’t cry” 

would kiss your pouty lips and pull you into a hug again and say “im here just cry if you need” 

will stay with you the whole day if you need it but if you need personal space he’s very understanding and would just check in on you through text

will call you for 5 hours later that day to dissect and discuss the situation that lead to you crying 

will always end it with “but you’re so cute when you cry so it’s fine just come to me” 

SUNOO

see’s you crying and back hugs you

pouting and asking “what happened ~~” 

would grab tissues and wipe your tears for you 

would get teary eyed seeing you so sad 

gets you food and water to calm you down 

“do you want to talk about it?”

when you don’t respond he understands and knows you just want to be held. he would hug you for eternity if you wanted LOL 

will keep a close eye on you the whole day  and become very cutesy with you because he knows that cheers you up ^_^

synopsis: jake and y/n secretly like each other and after a night full of butterflies someone finally decides to make a move.

jake and y/n were nothing more but just friends, they met through Heeseung which was one of Y/N’s best friends. Heeseung and y/n grew up together, their parents were friends before they were even born so it was naturally bound to happen. They did everything together like loosing their baby teeth, learning how to ride a bike, went through puberty together, graduated together and even went to their middle school prom together because they didn’t have dates. Their classmates would teased them about dating and they hated it ! they would physically gag at the thought, because they saw themselves as sibling. Entering high school they wanted a fresh start and get rid those dating labels, so they made different friends but most of the time y/n would just end up hanging out with heeseung and his friends. By the end of the year y/n had a friend named Sunoo and heeseung had his little group of 5, and by the new year a transfer student was introduced to the class. Heeseung became friends with jake and introduced you two. Just like heeseungs other friends y/n had jake on social media and they couldn’t help but just feel attracted to him, they seemed comfortable with him, friendlier with him, they would sometimes even hang out with him alone. Something about him was different

“probably his accent” sunoo would say as he laid on your bed next to you, you shrugged “probably, i can’t believe he came all the way from Australia” you said scrolling through jake’s account again “he’s not bad looking too” sunoo said peeking over your phone “alright enough” i said locking my phone and getting up. Today you planned to go watch a new scary movie that recently came out with sunoo and Heeseung along with his friends. Sunoo and i walked out the house going down to Heeseung’s block to meet up with him seeing him outside waiting for you “heeseung!” you said running to him dramatically like if it was in slow motion, tossing yourself onto him as he hugged you back. You saw jake from behind talking to sunghoon laughing at whatever sunghoon said, then looking over to you giving you a smile making your heart flutter, as you waved back “Okay lets go!” jungwon said leading the way, jake was complaining on the way “ah i don’t do well with scary movies” he said whining just thinking about it, walking behind you with his hands resting on each of your shoulders shaking you lightly “i heard it was really scary” heeseung said trying to spook jake “stop teasing him” you said to heeseung playfully hitting his side.

Jay and Heeseung went to get the drinks and popcorn while you stayed behind with the rest of the group. A screening of the movie ended and people came out the room talking about it mentioning jump scares and not being able to sleep tonight “ah really guys im going crazy” jake said sitting back down next to you “Don’t be such a baby” niki said excited to see the movie, he was the one who planned this day. “i bet it’s not even that scary! they’re probably exaggerating” you told jake trying to calm him down. Once it was time you walked into the theater room sitting in between jake and sunoo, everyone was so into the movie but you couldn’t help but notice how close jake was next to you, he was leaning towards you. There was a point where you swore you would hear your heart beat, jakes hand would occasionally rub against yours as he laid it on the arm rest. You would look at his hand then back at the screen then to his hand again, you were not paying attention at all when everyone screamed over the movie and jake jumped in his seat and sunoo yelled next to you. You smiled at jake being so cute, covering his eyes with the sleeve of his cream colored sweater still leaving one arm on the arm rest. You looked over to jake once more meeting his eyes and quickly looking away feeling your cheeks turn burn, trying to focus on the screen but still feeling his gaze on you, with what felt like eternity he slowly looked back at the big screen but moved his hand closer to yours feeling the warmth of his hand next to yours, his fingers rubbed against yours almost as if he was asking permission to hold you hand. You took it as a chance to play with his fingers and he slowly intertwined your hands together sending butterflies in your stomach, you both smiled at each other looking back at the screen but after this you couldn’t focus. Throughout the movie jake would let out small yells shoving his head into your shoulder as you would laugh at him.

After the movie you guys decided to go home, jake wouldn’t leave your side and would keep his arm around your shoulders holding you close intertwining your hands on one side, the guys didn’t think too much of it considering they knew you two had feelings for each other. All the other guys went their ways and it was just heeseung,jake and you, “Jake can you take y/n home please and don’t do anything stupid” heeseung said glaring at jake as you arrived in front of his house “oh shut up! Bye hee! text me!” you said waving goodbye as he winked at you heading inside. You laughed shaking your head knowing he was teasing you for being alone with jake “are you gonna be able to sleep at night” you joked as jake playfully glared at you “it wasn’t that scary” he said trying to act tough “yeah okay, like if you weren’t jumping squeezing my hand” you said as you felt him rubbing his thumb against your hand. You arrived in front of your house not wanting to say goodbye to jake, “i had fun tonight” you said smiling at him looking down at your hand holding his “me too, we should do it again but this time just the two of us” he said kind of questioning it, not sure if you would feel the same “i would love that” you replied smiling back at him and he returned the smile “i’ll see you tomorrow?” jake asked as you nodded “good night y/n” he said kissing your forehead you closed your eyes taking in his scent and the feeling of his soft lips against your forehead. Fluttering your eyes open, your eyes meet his and he was so close to your face you looked back and forth from his eyes to his beautiful plump lips ‘just kiss him’ you thought to yourself and before you knew it you grabbed his shirt pulling him in for a kiss both of your lips resting on each other for seconds before they finally move in sync, as he smiled into the kiss and his big hands moving to the sides of your face pulling you closer than before. Your heart pounding against your chest slowly running out of breath as you pulled away to catch your breath and jake need to as well resting his forehead against yours breathing heavily “well that was bold” he said letting out a giggle “well ! you were looking at my lips too ! i saw you” you said embarrassed “i was, i’ve been wanting to do that since forever, i like you” jake admitted “i like you too jake” you replied shyly, jake tried to hard to bite back his smile but failed miserably dropping his head giggling at you “you’re so cute” he said wrapping his arms around you pulling you close for a hug resting his head on top of yours “now go inside it’s getting late” he said stepping back to let you inside “fine, i’ll see you tomorrow” you said already looking forward for tomorrow as jake nodded waving you off. You couldn’t help but want more from him, “jake” you said to him “mmh?” he replied back, you took another step towards him and gave him another peck as he smiled once more “again” he said and you replied with another peck “again, one more” he giggled wrapping his arm around your waist and you smiled giving him another passionate kiss not wanting to let each other go and this time he was the one to take control walking you backwards leaning you against the front door as your arms wrapped around his neck and your hands playing with his fluffy hair “do you want to sleep over?” you whispered against his lips as he smiled widely nodding his head.

You and Jake got into a pretty heated argument a few days ago which made you stop talking. Jake started regretting every single Word he said to you and eventually came to your house so he could apologize. But you didn't let him. He really hurt you with his words. But he didn't give up, even though he was drenched in water since it was raining pretty heavily. Your relationship with Jake has always been super complicated. You weren't dating, but you most definitely weren't only friends either. He was your first in everything. Your first Kiss, Your first Time, Your first best Friend , Your first Crush. But you never had the courage to talk about your Feelings. And you never planned on talking about your feelings. Especially not after that Argument. But there you are sitting in your living room, listening to Jake literally yelling in front of your door. You could hear that he is crying, but so were you. You were both hurt. And you both missed each other like crazy. ,,Y/N please...I'm so sorry. I know you can hear me. I didn't mean to hurt you please let me talk to you" He said, crying even harder than before. You walked into work, and you could feel the atmosphere could snap if there was one word or one step wrong. You looked around and saw your best friend at her desk, nervously writing.

"B/f/n, what's going on?" you asked while whispering in case it was wrong to speak out loud.

"The boss, he's in a bad mood." "He yelled at someone this morning," she replied, and it made you cock an eyebrow and smirk. Little did she know you were the reason behind his bad mood. He came home late yesterday, and you’ve been ignoring him ever since.

"He really should control his anger and not take it out on people," you said, rolling your eyes. "That's right, but he doesn’t," she said, and it made you laugh in response

You walked to your desk and sat down. You looked up and saw Jay looking right at you. Your desk was right near Jay's office, so he could see you working. He had a fierce look on his face and you could see he was clenching his jaw as well. You raised an eyebrow at him and then turned away from him to do your work.

You could sense his gaze on you most of the day. You finally completed what you had to do and decided to go grab something to eat.

"Hey, b/s/n are you finished yet? Wanna grab some lunch?" You asked her, and she smiled up at you. "Yep, I’m just about finished; give me a few," she said, typing quickly on her keyboard. About a minute passed, and she laid back and stretched. "And I am finished," she said, puffing out some air. "Don’t forget to save," you said, and she quickly did that, and you guys walked to the cafeteria in your workplace.

"You know I wonder why Jay has been in a bad mood today," she said, and you realised she was using his real name and not calling him boss; it made you cock an eyebrow with a bit of jealousy going through you.

"I don’t know, it’s best not to try to invade his private life," you said to her and she nodded her head. You both grabbed lunch and just chatted away. You heard someone shout and everyone’s head turned that way, then you saw a girl running away in tears. You looked up ahead and saw it was Jay. You were getting frustrated at how he was getting angry at everyone.

You guys finally made it back to your desk and you saw Jay was in his office, so you decided to pay him a visit. You walked in and closed the door and locked it so no one would walk in.

"Jay, I would like to know why you're taking your frustration out on your employees?" You asked Jay as you were walking up to his desk. He turned around in his chair and looked up at you! “You should know why,” he said, clenching his jaw, which was attractive.

"Well, is that my fault?" you asked, leaning on his desk now. He got up and walked around to where you were and turned you around to pin you against the desk. His cologne was so intoxicating that you're getting lost in the scent.

"You know you shouldn't ignore me, it doesn't lead to things" he said and it made you look right at him. "Well, maybe you shouldn't say things you can't do," you said, getting irritated at him.

"Look, I’m sorry I missed our date yesterday. Work had me pulled back until late” he said and it made you roll your eyes. “Jay, you're the CEO, you could have maybe just let someone else take over”, you said, and you did have a point. He could have done that, but no! He wanted to take responsibility and it made you sad because you hardly spend time together.

“Babe..” he said softly, but you just looked down, you were just frustrated because you only see him at work or maybe when you guys go to sleep it’s the only time you have together since Jay likes to work late.

“Maybe we should just break up,” you said and looked right at him. His face turned stone cold, you couldn’t read his face at all. You looked down and saw he was gripping the table a bit too hard because his knuckles were turning white.

“If you’re not going to say anything, I’ll just leave,” you said, as you tried to move his arm, he whipped his arm away from you and pulled you close to him with his other arm.

“Who said I would let you go that easily?” he questioned, looking straight into your eyes. “If you think you can get away from me that easily, think again”, he added and kissed you on the lips which made you soften up.

“You hardly have time for us, so it’s no use for us to be together,” you said, trying to get out of his grip, but it was no help since he held you tight. He backed you up and pinned you against the desk again, but the look on his face made you nervous.

“J-Jay” you shuttered out as you got nervous. He cocked his head a little and smirked at you. “Nervous are we?” He questioned and chuckled at you.

“If you want us to break up, you wouldn’t mind me dating your best friend, right?” He asked and that made your blood boil. You looked at him with a face that said words you didn’t need to say, you gripped him by his collar and pulled him closer. “Don’t you even think about that” you spat out in disgust, the thought of them together ticked you off.

“Well, don’t think about us breaking up” he said, and closed the gap between you guys by kissing you. It was hot and feverish making sure who you both belonged to. It lasted for a few minutes as it was interrupted by a knock at the door.

You looked at Jay nervously because no one knew you guys were dating and both of your lips were a bit bruised. “Get under my desk”, Jay whispered, and you did as you said as he fixed himself up. You crawled underneath. Luckily, the desk wall went right down to the floor so no one could see you under there.

“Come in,” Jay said as he unlocked the door, you got nervous and your heartbeat was beating too fast. “These are the documents you need for the new project. I just finished them off” you heard your best friend say to Jay. “Thank you. You may leave now” Jay said and walked around to his desk. He saw his legs partly.

“Ah actually there’s something I want to ask you actually” you heard her say flirtatious and it made you think of what she was going to say. “Go ahead” you heard Jay say as he sat down in his chair you could now see his face and it was stone cold.

“Would you like to go on a date with me?” She said to him and you rolled your eyes. You saw Jay look down at you and you looked at him with a look of please reject her and he quickly looked back at her. “I’m sorry but I’ll have to decline as I’m already seeing someone” he said and it made her choke on air. “Wait what,” she said and he sighed. “You don’t need to know my private life, please leave,” he said.

“Oh come on there's no way I’ve never seen you with anyone before” she said and you were getting pissed off by the minute. You looked at Jay and he saw your expression and got up and leaned on the desk because you heard it creak. “Leave before I fire you” he said coldly to her and it made her shut up, but she didn’t leave and walked around to Jay. You saw her shoes. You wanted to get out from underneath but you knew it wouldn’t end well.

“Jay, just this once, please go out with me,” she said, and you knew she was probably touching him. You heard someone grab the phone and you were curious. “Yes hi! please let b/f/n know she is fired” he said into the phone and you were shocked.

“Leave” he said, and you heard a choked sob and feet running out with the door slamming shut. Jay sat in his chair and sighed as you looked at him wide-eyed. He leaned down and grabbed your hand, helped you up, pulled you into his lap and just put his head into the crook of your neck and sighed.

You ran your fingers through his hair and just hugged him. “I love you” you heard him say and it made you smile, “I love you too”, you said and kissed his cheek.

You let out a soft curse as your body unexpectedly collided with someone while you hurry yourself up the school stairs. “I’m so sorry!” you mumbled apologetic and even bowed a little before you almost stumble over your own feet when you finally arrived at the said floor.

You huffed a breath out and even grunted before walking towards where your club room is only for your shoulder to fell in a disappointment. You can already see the club members walking outside, seems like the meeting was already finished. You sighed in disbelief and with a sullen expression you slowly approached closer. Just in time, your best friend in the same club went out and she quickly went towards you after seeing you.

“You’re late, doll face.” she said and with a long face you stopped walking and let her come close herself. Now, suddenly all the running you did kicked into your system and you can feel your legs shaking out of tiredness. You’ve never ran that far before.

“I know. I had a problem with something on the way.” you heaved a sigh and even wiped off some beads of sweat that had formed over your forehead because of the heat.

“You looked like you just ran miles.” she said with a teasing voice as she chuckled.

You rolled your eyes at her before fanning yourself using your own hands. “You don’t even know what I’ve been through! And I arrived here only to see the meeting was over?” your tone was almost hysterical that made your friend chuckled. Soon she threw her arm around your shoulder and started pulling you towards somewhere.

“Poor you! Let’s go at the cafeteria, I will treat you something refreshing to drink!” she said and even winked at you. You were delighted at what you heard and even pouted at her.

“Really? Wah, thank you so much!” both of you let out a chuckle as you started walking down the familiar stairs.

It’s already dismissal and you were asked to go in the club room for the journalism club meeting. You were held back in your last class since some of your block-mates were being pain in the ass and the professor decided to deal with them and let the whole class suffer together. It was annoying but yet you had no choice but to just waited there for a couple of minutes.

“So what was the meeting about?” you asked as she settle the drinks over at the table you are occupying. She tilted her head and smiled as you thanked her for the drink.

“Nothing much. We just distributed what section of the news paper we will cover.” her smile was meaningful as she stare at you. Even if she didn’t say anything, you quickly felt something bad with those smiles of her.

You squinted your eyes as you slowly pull away from the straw of your drink. She chuckled, finding you really cute and she took a sip from her own drink. The journalism is the one assigned to take care of the school’s news paper where you will read various updates, news and even achievements of the university. To be fair, the president suggested that the articles will be covered equally. It was a good idea of course, but not when you didn’t attend the meeting.

“What section did you get?” you were eager to know what’s yours but you’re afraid to know it as well.

She smiled proudly, “I’m asked to cover the up-coming inter-school science exibits.” she said. Your mouth fell open a bit as you look at her will slight envy. You sure it will be exciting and also the people at the science club were all nice. You know it because you had covered it before and worked with some of them.

“Since I’m not present, I get the section that had been not picked right?” you already know it but still you asked for some reason. She chuckled while enjoying how uneasy you look.

You sighed and took a sip from your drink before finally asking your friend. “What section do I get t cover?” you gulped, anticipating.

She smiled warmly before saying, “Sports section.” 

Two words... just two words and you can already feel your palms sweating out of worry. There’s a lot of teams in the sports club, you tried to comfort yourself and to make yourself feel better by convincing yourself that you will not get that one team that you are avoiding the most.

“Please don’t tell me I got the Belift rugby team.” your tone was hopeful but a bit worried as well.

She smirked, “Then, I won’t tell you.” she chuckled before she took another sip from her drink once again.

Your mouth fell open as your face reflected an absent minded expression. She wants to laugh so bad because of how funny you looked right now but he somehow feel worried for you as well. The Belift Rugby team sure is one of the pride of your school and a lot of their team players are the most popular boys of the school. She’s half happy and half worried for you but all in all she’s very much excited.

She let out yet another snickered laugh, “Oh come on, its not so bad.” she tried to encourage you.

You let out a sarcastic scoff, “Easy for you to say.” she just responded with a shoulder shrug and a chuckle. You were silent for a while before you grunted and let out a sigh.

“Why me though? Why didn’t (name) even took the article? I mean I’m sure she’s very much willing to cover it.” you said starting to feel frustrated.

“Yes, but the president aren’t very much willing to give it to her.” she have this teasing smile over her face. You wanted to join and maybe comment some things about the said girl but you aren’t in the mood. You may not like (name) because of her attitude but you are quite thankful that she took those articles before.

“Why?” you asked. Your friend gave you a meaningful look like as if its a sin to ask that question.

“The Belift rugby team is the university’s pride and so a lot are looking forward for a well written articles about them and (name) always fails to deliver them.” she said. Your mouth formed a ‘o’ before your head nodded, eyes roaming around for a bit while. You have no idea how she wrote the articles for the rugby team because you don’t really read that part of the school news paper.

Your eyes glanced back at your friend when she suddenly hold onto your hand. With a furrowed brows you looked at her, “I think its perfect for you to cover it since you’re one of the best writers of the club and maybe its a good opportunity to y’know? socialize...” she said. Her eyes looked so sincere.

You gave her a half-smile, “Yeah, right. Socialize my ass.” and you even rolled your eyes before taking another sip over your drink. She lets out a laugh because you just look cute whenever you look pissed at something.

“y/n! Why are you so mad at the rugby team? I mean, have you seen them? They’re full of hot guys. The most popular kids in our school are part of that team! A lot of girls are dying to be in your shoes right now.” she looks delighted. You wanted so bad to believe her but you knew she doesn’t even want to cover it herself. She’s all talk but she don’t want to undergo this as well.

“Then they can take it. I’d gladly pass it to them.” you comments before sighing loudly.

“Look, I’m not mad at them. I don’t even know them personally so I have no reason to even be mad. It’s just, I think they’re a bunch of guys who loves attention and popularity. I don’t see any substance. Pretty face, fame, girls, the sport, and then what? I heard they even don’t have that great personalities.” you mumbled continuously and your friend just can’t help but to agree. She pursed her lips and nods her head a couple of times.

“Well, you can’t do anything about it. You’ve got to deal with them for a whole two months.” she said. Your shoulder fell as you pout at her.

“Pray for my soul.” you joked and she cracked. “I will.”

On the other hand, the rugby team was currently at the field having their after class practice. Some students were there to watch, not the game but mostly the members of the team. All of them were pretty much hooked in the game, not minding the girls cheering for them. 

“Jungwon!” the said boy lifted his head only to meet with their coach’s eyes. He mumbled something before letting go of the person beside him then walks out of the field.

He huffed and ran his hand over to his hair that’s now soak with sweats. A couple of girls by the bleachers near him even try to call his attention. He glanced at them and nodded once that made them yelp a bit.

“Yes, coach?” he asked resting both of his hands at his hips as he try to calm his breathing.

“The president of the journalism club talked to me. Since the inter-school games are near, they need to cover the team. They’ll send someone to observe the team to write the article about it.” he said and Jungwon tilted his head, one of his hand raised as he wipe the sweat over the side of his neck.

“You already know how that works, right captain? I expect you’ll take care of it.” he said and even clapped his hand over to his broad shoulder.

Jungwon nodded his head reliably. It isn’t really new for him. Every season, someone from the club are tasked to be around them for almost two months to cover the whole preparation. He doesn’t really mind since its good for the team’s exposure as well.

“Alright, coach.”

He smiled at Jungwon before saying, “Okay. That’s it for today. You guys should rest and go home.” he dismissed.

Jungwon turned over the field, “Alright everyone! Coach said training’s over.” he shouted that quickly made them stop from the practice.

Soon the boys went straight towards the shower room of their team. A lot were talking about some stuff while Heeseung noticed how Jungwon’s brows were furrowed as he try to dry his hair using a clean towel. He just finished showering. He walked closer and clapped his shoulder.

“What’s up, captain? What’s with the creased forehead?” he asked the younger one. It also caught Jake’s attention who’s busy putting a shirt on.

“Heeseung’s right. What’s going on?”

“Nothing. Coach said someone from the journalism club will be around once again.” he announced. Heeseung nodded his head and even leaned over the locker next to Jungwon.

“Hmm, that’s easy. Let Jake handle her.” he suggested that made the other guy turn his head at them.

“Why me? If its (name), no thanks.” he said so eager. Jungwon looked at him and a small smile appeared over his lips.

“Did I just heard that right? Jake hyung saying no to handle a girl?” Sunoo said and finished up putting a lip balm over his pretty lips, his tone sounding so surprised.

Jake looked at him a bit offended, “And what do you mean by that, Kim Sunoo?” he asked that made some of them chuckling.

“Jake hyung can’t handle her if she’s (name) because he’s already finish with her.” Ni-ki added as he threw his dirty towel over the hamper of clothes. 

A smirk slowly appeared over Jungwon’s lips when he remember his Jake hyung’s flirting with the last girl from the journalism club that covered their articles. Jake jokingly try to choke hold the laughing Ni-ki and Jungwon then turned towards his Jay hyung who just finished putting a shirt on. He can see a small grin over his face while he listens at the boy’s bickering. When he cranes his head, he met eyes with Jungwon and he was quick enough to put a serious face.

“No, I won’t do it, Won.” and he even quickly glanced away right away. 

Jungwon tilted his head as he sighed out heavily. Like he said, he don’t mind about it but he also not in the mood to deal with it. Usually, some of the team members volunteers to take care of it, and by mostly its his Jake hyung since he’s very much fond of girls. Journalism club’s members are mostly girls. He thinks maybe around three guys are part of that club and so the possibility of it to be a guy is very small. If its a guy, then he can take care of it since they’re easier to deal with.

He snapped his head over to the side when someone clapped over his shoulder. His eyes met with his Sunghoon hyung’s and he was smiling brightly at him, flashing those fangs.

“I’ll handle it for you, captain.” he said and a smile gradually elevates his face after he heard that.

“Thanks, hyung. You’re a life saver.” he mumbled and they eventually decided to go somewhere to have dinner together.

When they exited the shower room, a lot were already discussing to where they would eat and Jungwon just remained silent letting them decide. He's not that picky and he’ll just go with wherever they’ll gonna go. He put one of his hands at the nape of his neck and gently massaged it.

“Jungwon-ah, you left your history book at your locker right? We need it.” his Sunoo hyung caught his attention and he let out a small groan when he remembered that they have a homework in history that needs their textbook.

“You guys go ahead, I’ll just go and get it. Text me where we’ll eat.” he said and he just nodded his head. Jungwon started walking his way towards where the locker's area was. The hallway was deserted and no students can be seen around. Seems like everyone already headed home.

When he turned over the left, the blue lockers greeted his eyes and even before he can process it, Jungwon bumped into someone. Their bodies colliding causing her things to splatter around the cold floor. He heard muttered curses out of surprise and he was quick enough to wrap one arm over her waist to keep her from falling down.

Jungwon then met eyes with you and he was stunned. You are too but you quickly shrugged it off and furrowed your brows at him. You pushed yourself off of him and crouched down to pick your things up. Jungwon was caught off guard, he doesn’t know what to react and your eyes kept flashing back through his mind. Your surprised expression, widen eyes and lips gapped a bit.

“A little help would be nice.” he was snapped back to reality when you suddenly talked. He’s even weirded out if he just heard that right, there’s something in your tone. Like you’re pissed or something.

“Right. Sorry,” he mumbled before he started helping you. His hands were big and a bit red, probably because of his tight grip at you. With a pursed lips, you tried calming yourself down. You may appear like you’re pissed but your cheeks were blushing so hard. Your face was too close at his moments ago and you can feel your heart hammering down.

“Here you go,” he said and handed you your things. You lifted your gaze from the floor over at him then accept it after muttering a small ‘thanks.’

Jungwon gulped as he’s eye to eye with you. He roamed his eyes over your face, not even minding that his stares were a bit bothering. He just don’t know what happened to him, you are new to his eyes and for some reason he’s very much interested.

“Are you new here?” he cannot stop himself form asking.

You let out a scoff before you stood up and neatly placed back your things inside your locker. You can see from the side of your eyes that he stood up as well, making the height differences between the two of you visible.

“New? I’ve been together in the same class with you for years, Yang.” your tone was sarcastic. You won’t lie, you’re kind of offended.

You don’t really expect him to know your name but to actually being not familiar of you was somewhat not okay. You’ve shared classes with him. Maybe he’s really that popular huh? That the people around him doesn’t really matter, especially if they aren’t close to him.

Jungwon’s eyes widen and his cheeks flushed as the embarrassment flow into him.

“I’m sorry, I didn--”

“It’s fine. It’s not like you’re required to know me.” you cut him off and faced him. With a blank looking face, you smiled a little.

“See you around, thanks for helping me.” and you left without even glancing back at him.

Jungwon was stoned as his position. You were already out of sight but he was still at where you had left him. He cannot believe the way you just look at him. That’s the very first time a girl from their university looked at him that way. Like as if he’s not Yang Jungwon, Captain of Belift Rugby team.

Soon a smirk appeared across his face as Jungwon slid one of his hand inside his pocket. He turned his head over to your locker and read your name quietly.

“Y/n, huh?” he mumbled to himself, eyes still glued at your name.

“I’ll surely remember you this time.” he said and wearing a small grin he went over to his locker to do the main reason why he went there in the first place.

“Are you off, Y/n?” your friend asked, a smile was already plastered over her face. You pouted, wanted so bad not to go but you know you have to do this. With a nod you waved at her and she did the same thing.

You decided to go at the locker’s area first to put some of your things. You can see a lot of students were around, probably because everyone’s dismissed at their classes.

Even before you can arrive the field, you can already see a lot of students around. Whenever they’re practicing, a lot of students, mostly girls, are staying for a bit to watch them. You think they don’t really care about the sport itself, they’re probably here because of the hot dudes.

Your hold in your notebook and pen tighten as you made your way closer to the field. You watch how they’re very focus on the game. Some of the girls that seen you walking closer followed you with their judging eyes. You shrugged it off, doesn’t really giving a care.

You sat down at one of the bleachers and observe the whole play, writing some notes from time to time. You didn’t even realize that you are actually enjoying watching them. You’ll give them that, even if they’re too immersed at the popularity, you can't deny their excellence in this sport. Your school indeed have the best players.

Your eyes darted over to him as you heard him shouting something and automatically, the whole team moved at his order. The numbers 04 was engraved at his rugby uniform. You pouted your lips as you watch his brows furrowed hardly while focusing at the game. He ran his hands at his wet hair, showing off that headband he’s sporting. He roamed his eyes around his team, observing and again he shouted another command. Your heart suddenly thumped as his close up face flashed back through your mind. You tried shaking that off from your system. It was so sudden.

Their coach cheered at the beautiful performance they showed and then they were dismissed. When you saw them striving towards the rugby team locker/shower area, you hurried yourself towards their coach.

“Coach.” you called their coach’s attention. He turned over at you and flashed a big smile.

“You must be the one from the journalism club.” he said, sounding excited.

You nodded your head, “I will start tomorrow if the team have practice.” you said flashing a polite smile.

He nodded his head, “Let’s go, I’ll introduce you to the whole team.” he said. Your heart thumped for some reason but you just nod your head at him. At least their coach is nice.

Jungwon let out a small relieved sigh after taking a shower. He can feel his back aching a bit but it was fine. He’ll just put some patch at it later tonight. He just finished taking a shower and now fixing some of his things at his locker. Opening it, the memory of you quickly flashed back over his mind making a small smile spread through his lips.

“You seemed to be in a good mood.” his head snapped over to the one who talked.

He pursed his lips and resumed to what he was doing, “Really?”

Actually, he was the third person who told him that today. He doesn’t know what he’s doing or what’s in his facial expression that they can tell right away that something good happened.

His Jay hyung nodded his head with a smirk. “Yeah. What? Something happened?” he asked and shoved his things over his locker.

Jungwon eyes trailed away from his hyung and his ears glazed light tint of red that he noticed pretty easily.

“Is it a girl? Wait, really? Yang Jungwon?” amusement lured over his tone and because he had said that a bit too loudly, the rest of their friends heard and was instantly curious.

“Did I just heard Jungwon has a girl?” Jake said his shirt still ain’t properly worn.

“Way to go, captain!” Sunghoon cheered with a smirk.

Jungwon’s cheeks flushed because of all the teasing from his friends. He huffed and furrowed his brows. His hand made it over his cheeks and lightly cupped it, heat can be felt from it. He bet his cheeks are red as tomatoes right now.

“So who’s the lucky girl?” his Heeseung hyung asked as he slowly slipped in a sock, a smirk was also plastered over his face.

Jungwon’s head tilted at the side for a while as he closed his locker. He doesn’t know why he’s feeling like this so suddenly. He’s pretty sure he knows your name but for some reason, he doesn't want his friends to know it. Especially his Jake hyung...

His friends can’t help but to get very curious though. It’s not always Yang Jungwon, their Captain, got interested over a girl. Actually, they’ve never seen him interested over a girl. Yeah, he do interact at some but they know he's not interested in any way.

Jungwon was about to say something when suddenly, their coach barged inside their locker room. “Go outside in 2 minutes. The girl from the journal club is here and I’m going to introduce you guys.” he said.

Jungwon groaned a little and locked his locker before he brushed his wet hair using his fingers. The boys rummaged over their things, “You guys behave and I’m talking to you, Sim Jaeyun.” their coach said that made them all laugh loudly.

One by one, the school rugby team went outside. You bit your lower lip and kept your hands together, fidgeting at your fingers. Their eyes automatically shifted towards you and that just made you feel nervous. The last ones who came out was the most known members of the team and also the star players. You saw how their eyes were focused at you, Jake sim even gave you the elevator look with that flirty smirk of him.

Your eyes soon darted over at the last one who came out. He was brushing his damp hair and his eyes looked a bit wide-eyed as he met yours. You quickly glanced away as you felt your heart beating faster just by a three second eye contact with the team captain.

“You guys already know this routine. One of the members from the journalism club are here to cover your article in our school news paper. I want all of you to take care of her and be nice to her.” the coach started and you just kept your lips pursed.

They responded with a ‘yes coach.’ He then turned over you with that smile, “You can introduce yourself, don’t worry. I’m sure they’ll behave themselves.” he assured.

You smiled a little before turning your head at them. After heaving a sigh, you flashed a friendly smile at them avoiding eye contact at their team captain to prevent being distracted.

“I’m y/n from journalism club. I hope we can have a great time during the whole two months. Please take it easy on me.” you said and some of them was eager enough to respond. It made you chuckle as they were a bit funny.

You noticed Jungwon walking towards one of the star players and also his friend, Sunghoon. He leaned and whispered something that made the older one smirked. After saying something that you can’t hear, Jungwon walked away and went back to his previous position.

“Oh, right! You’ll have a buddy while you’re with them. Jungwon?” he called him out and once again, your heart started going crazy.

You watch how he walked closer and his eyes were completely focused at you. It made you feel flushed so you pursed your lips once again.

“Who’s gonna accompany her?” he asked.

You bit your lower lips and muttered ‘Please not Jungwon’ inside your mind. Jungwon glanced over to their coach before he looked back at you, a small smile then plastered over his face.

“Me, coach.” he said. You gulped and heart hammered hardly at how he kept the eye contact with you.

You heard some of his friends saying something but you were too drawn in his stares that you didn’t understand it. Their coach was a bit surprise, it is a yearly tradition and yet this is the first time Jungwon actually handled this himself.

“W-Well alright. I know she’s in good hands then. She will start tomorrow.” he said.

Jungwon nodded his head at their coach and looked at you. With a smirk he raised his brows at you, “See you tomorrow then, y/n.”

Chills ran over your spine at the sound of your name coming out from his lips. You nodded your head and smiled a little. After bidding good-bye, you politely bow at everyone and exit yourself. Jungwon’s eyes followed you and a smirk was still present over his face.

“y/n huh?” Sunoo said beside him wearing this teasing smile.

Jungwon rolled his eyes but still, his smile can’t be erased from his face. “Shut up, hyung.” he said and walked himself towards back inside to go grab his bag.

“Just a heads up, Jungwon, y/n is not that fond of the rugby team” his hyung said that made him look at him with a furrowed brow.

“You know her?”

Sunoo nodded his head, “She’s our classmate in almost every class.” he bit his lower lip when he suddenly tried to retrieve his small memory of classmates face just to try and remember you.

“Why am I not aware?” he asked over to himself.

“It’s because you don’t really care about the people around you.” he even let out a chuckle.

“Well, good luck with you.” and he waved before leaving.

“So...?” you gave your friend a questioning look as she seem to be so excited as you take your seat beside her the next morning.

“What do you mean so?” you asked still confused. She rolled her eyes as she crossed her arms at you.

“How did it go yesterday? You met the team? Aren’t they the hottest?” she beamed excitedly and you gave her a judging look you before sarcastically smiling.

“Wow, good morning to you too.”

She chuckled, “Good morning!”

She leaned closer, resting her chin by her hand, elbow rested at your table. You raised an eyebrow at her being irritated because you’re not in the mood to talk about it.

“What happened?”

You let out a sigh of defeat. You know you can’t win with her and so you just decided to give in. While pulling out your textbook for your morning class you then started telling her what happened yesterday.

“Oh my, y/n! I really salute you for not melting while being watched by those handsome guys! I envy you!” she said and you can’t help but to roll your eyes again.

“First of all, I’m not an ice cream so why would I melt. Second of, if you envy me so much go take my place.” you told her and she was quick enough to give you sweet smile.

“No thanks, best friend. Fighting, you can handle that!” she said that only made you frown.

Both of you snapped your heads when someone entered your class. The student’s attention was instantly at him. Not in his legendary rugby uniform, Yang Jungwon was wearing the school’s uniform like any other male students but still, he managed to outshine everyone of them. You are pretty sure the material was the same, the way they wore it was just the same but how come Jungwon’s effect is different?

You’re even more surprise when he roamed his eyes around the class. He doesn't do that before. Usually, he just walks in together with his friends Sunoo and Ni-ki then basically ignore everything.

His eyes settled at yours and caused your heart to beat faster. Your friend pursed her lips and gave you a glance with a teasing smile. You feel like your heart fell when he muttered something towards Sunoo and Ni-ki then started walking towards where you are seated.

The whole class were obviously watching him. He then arrived near you and his eyes are now at the student who’s sitting at your other side.

“I want to take that seat.” he said seriously, not even a smile. The guy was intimidated by him and hurry himself up from the seat. Jungwon then eyed you and you almost hitched your breath at the sudden eye contact.

“I hope you don’t mind being my seat-mate, y/n.” he said, flashing a smirk showing off his pretty dimples.

You gulped and tried acting normal despite the flushed cheeks. “And if I mind? Will you leave?” you muttered lowly, trying prevent the other students who’s obviously bewildered to what’s happening to hear.

Jungwon scoffed before making himself comfortable beside you. “No.” was his only response.

You glared at him but he just gave you a smirk. It was annoying how cocky he acts around you, actually around everyone else like as if he’s way above all of them. It’s like his presence himself screams power and authority that tells you you can’t disobey him. Maybe the fact that despite being one of the youngest in the rugby team he managed to be the team captain.

Thankfully, your teacher arrived and the classes started. Before you finally focus yourself at the class you heard your friend say something beside you.

“You seriously have explaining to do.” with a teasing smile.

“I swear, (friend’s name)! Nothing happened. I bumped into Jungwon the day before I met the whole team.” you said starting to feel frustrated that she kept on insisting that something’s going on between the team captain and you.

You are now at the cafeteria, lunch break and in every class that you are with Jungwon, he always sits beside you. He even started to act like as if you two are close, like as if he was aware that you are his classmate all these years. Students also started eyeing you weirdly and you hate it. You hate how some girls glares at you then whispers to the person beside them. You hate how just the small news of him sitting beside you in class makes a big impact to other people.

“But I’m sure it’s something for Jungwon! Y/n, that’s Yang Jungwon of the Belift Rugby Team. The team captain!”

“So?”

She sighed and rolled her eyes, “He’s not the type to go make the first move to sit beside a girl and try to catch her attention. People usually give attention to them without them asking for it.” she stated and you didn’t say anything. You know that, you clearly and absolutely know that.

“Let’s just eat, okay?” you tried shutting the topic off and started eating completely shrugging off that thought.

When the dismissal came, you wanted so bad to just go home and maybe enjoy the rest of the day without encountering Jungwon but of course you can’t do that. With pursed lips and fist tightly balled you walked towards the field. Like any other days, a lot of students were around, watching.

As you slowly walked closer, you can see the boys in the middle of the field, in their jerseys and practicing their play. One of them caught you and he instantly alarmed Jungwon about it. Your heart beats fast and you hated it. You hate how he affects you.

He turned his head at your direction and smiled a little before he instructed something to his team before slowly making his way towards you. He jogged and you nearly chocked at how he does that attractively. You settled your things at one of the benches and act like as if you are very busy, waiting for him to approach.

He was about to take you with him but Jay said its too crowded so he just have to leave you for a while. Sunoo said that he will look after you so he doesn’t have to be worried. He did and you talked with Sunoo while you wait for Jungwon. But suddenly, you had the urge of peeing.

“Wait wait do you guys hear something?” Everyone got quiet.

“It’s coming from outside!” suddenly everyone rushes towards the window, you were left but it was a relief. “Isn’t that Heeseung?!”

You dashed towards the window where everyone else are at and forced yourself to the crowd, you eventually got in front. There was Heeseung out side strumming on a guitar (where did he get that?) while looking up at you. His smile grew even more when his eyes landed on you, he kept singing. The girls screamed and nudges you, telling you to go downstairs and meet him. You did. But as soon as you were in-front of him, Heeseung gets on one knee and gave you flower (that he probably picked out somewhere) you accepted it. He then reached for your free hand looks up to you. “Will you please let me court you?”

Oh my god, isn’t things going too fast?

“I...”

“Well what do you say?!” “Y/n say yes!” The girls screamed.

“Y-yes!” Heeseung finally gets up and hugs you tightly, you did the same. Your girl classmates cheered. “Oi oi! What’s all this commotion all about?” the teacher interrupted. They’re already wearing their pjs seems like the screaming disturbed someone. “Ah nothing.. I’m just uhm it’s nothing” Heeseung said.

“Really? Then you kids go back to your dorms and sleep, we’ll leave early for tomorrow” and after that your teacher left.

“So.. I’ll get going now, see you tomorrow” you gave him a smile you were about to leave when Heeseung gently grab your wrist and pulled you back. He gave you a peck on the cheeks and smiled. “Right I’ll see you tomorrow” he said and waved goodbye. You hold your face, hiding the redness as you go back to your dorm. The girls greeted you with a hug, cheering you up. “If my future suitor doesn’t do that to me then I don’t want him”

You lay down on your bed and faced the wall, recalling what the hell just happened. Admit it, you don’t entirely like him but why did you say yes? Sometimes you can’t even understand yourself.

Day 4, Last day 

The class president woke you up telling you too prepare and that breakfast is ready. you nodded and got up. After changing into normal clothes and styling your hair you head towards the door and opened it not expecting a guest this early. “Pres told me you’re still here, let’s eat?” He didn’t even wait for your response, Heeseung drags you along with him to the dining hall. The both of you met a sleepy Jake at the entrance.

He yawns and streches his arms, he saw you and Heeseung and decided to Greet you “Good Mooorrning???” Jake enthuastic tone drops as his eyes landed to your and Heeseung’s holding hands. You realized it and took your hand back but he just holds it again. Jake tried to brush it off but he can’t help but to glance at you two while eating. Each giving you suspicious look. Jake’s the one who finished his meal first, he didn’t think twice and stood up. “hey Hee can we talk for a min? alone?”

“Sure” they both leave the dining hall, Jake lead him to the farthest place, the boys dormitories.

“Are you.. and Y/n a thing?”

Heeseung smirks, “Yeah”

“The hell’s wrong with you? You knew I liked her! I’ve been planning to confess and yet here you are just swooping her in so easily, what happened to Bro code?”

“I don’t know jake, I guess you’re just too slow” Heeseung walks forward decreasing the gap between him and Jake. He pats Jake on his shoulder “so I say you do what you want to do before I can make her entirely mine”

You looked at yourself once again in your pocket mirror and shoving it inside your bags front pocket after. “Alright! since everyone’s here now get on the bus and let’s head downtown” the teacher, you and your classmates cheered, excited to go downtown and shop for souvenirs/gifts and to celebrate the festival. You got on the bus and you picked the seat near at the back, you put your bag on the luggage rack and sat down after. You saw Jake, you waved at him and pointed on the seat beside you. But before he could even occupy it Heeseung preceded him and took the seat. “Hee that’s my seat”

“Did you pay for it?”

“No”

“Then go sit somewhere else”

“Ok how about we just seat at the very back so you two can seat beside me?” You suggested, they didn’t protest.

Heeseung got up, letting you out. Him and Jake both followed you. You sat at the middle, “oh it’s kinda cozy here” you said, thankfully there wasn’t any air conditioner above the seats to freeze to hell out of your head. The three of you finally settled down, good thing Jake and Heeseung didn’t bickered so you were at peace. The ride didn’t took long, you eventually arrive at the said destination and got out. The class agreed to meet at 1 pm, it’s only 8 am so you still have 5 hours to spare. After that the class went on their separate ways, and of course you went with your bestfriend also not leaving Heeseung behind.

“Lets go shopping for clothes” Heeseung Suggested.

“No we should shop for souvenirs first” Jake said, and the two boys continue to argue again. You rolled your eyes scanning the place where you at right now finding a place to go first. Your eyes trails up on the hill whereas there’s a lot of people sightseeing and taking a lots of photos on top. “Guys I think we should go there first, it looks cool!” You pointed out.

Time flies so fast only one hour left before you return back to the meeting place, you’re currently having lunch on a small fast food chain. Jake excused himself and went to the restroom Heeseung took this as a chance to confess something. “I.. I can’t take it anymore” he started. “All of the things that I did in these past few days, it’s all an act” he admits, causing you to look up to him and furrow your brows. “Act? What do you mean?”

“Jake has something to tell you so just play along” he said.

You got even more confused “Hee how am I going to do that when I don’t even know what’s going on?”

In the very corner of Heeseung’s eye he caught a glimpse of Jake’s figure coming to your table so he took a tissue and wipes your mouth pretending that there’s something in there. He crumpled the tissue and dropped it on the table, he then looks at Jake who’s now sitting beside you and giving Heeseung death glares secretly. He smirks. “Okay That’s it” Jake finally decided to man up, he turned his head at you and holds your hand.

“Y/n I need to talk to you”

“I-whoa okay!” You said, Jake didn’t waste anytime and drags you out of the fast food chain. You glance back at Heeseung giving him What’s-going-on?! Look but the boy just waves at you.

After you disappeared in sight, Heeseung rest his head on his palm. He did like you, but after he went at your dorms to serenade you. He saw a big difference of how you felt between him Jake, he couldn’t make you blush and flustered like him and that’s when he knew he didn’t stood a chance in the first place. And the only thing to escape or deny that he in fact have also fallen in love with you too is to show you that it was all an just act, to make Jake feel jealous all this time so he can man up and tells you how really feels.

Jake took a deep breath before speaking up actually he took a lot of deep breaths trying to calm his heart down, “Jake you good?”

“Listen I, I like you okay? Wait no scratch that I love you. I don’t know when and where it started it just it happened and I thought it was just a silly old crush but no it starts to grow big I couldn’t- It won’t go away anymore. I’ve never felt this way in my past flings only you made feel so complicated understanding what I feel which is love, you’re the best person I’ve ever meet so will you please choose me and not him?” Jake confesses leaving you speechless. You felt your worlds collide.

So this is what Heeseung meant earlier? You were relieved it was all an act because you can’t like him back the way he wants you to, the reason why you agreed to him to court you was, you got too pressured on answering him so all you did was to say yes.

“I also feel the same way but what about the girl from Roseville high?” you tuck your hair behind your ear.

“What about her? she’s just my cousin” he explained.

“i’ll see you after class yeah?” you said getting up from the lunch table you were sitting at with your friends, “you’re leaving already?” Jake asked pouting at your direction meeting your gaze “yeah my class starts in 5, sorry jakey” you said waving goodbye to them making your way to your last class, “Aw she calls you jakey?” Jay said teasing Jake over the nickname you just called him “look at him he’s blushing” Jungwon added cheesing at jake. “So when are you gonna tell her?” Heeseung asks taking a bite of his burger “tell her what” Jake questioned nervously chewing on his straw from the soda cup he was drinking “don’t act stupid Jake, we all know you like y/n” Sunghoon answered joining in the conversation throwing a tiny wrapper at Jake “I’m not ready to tell her yet” Jake replied looking around at the friend group “well you better tell her before the semester ends, i heard she’s been talking to this guy named-” Sunoo thought for a moment going ‘hmm’ before continuing “Rei from her psychology class” “she told you and not me?” Jake said facing to look at sunoo’s direction “i saw her and Rei talking outside her class and i just asked her about him, she said they were just friends and they exchanged numbers” Sunoo put up his hands defensively “ooo jake has some competition” Niki said amusingly trying to stir up Jake “Niki shut up” Jake said rolling his eyes getting up from the table grabbing his lunch tray and camera “see you guys later” He said walking away from the friend group who has been teasing him about his crush, heading to his cinematography class.

Jake sat on the bench by the river recording the sunset waiting for you to come with his ice cream, he wanted to go and get it but you wanted it to be fair since he drove all the way to the ice cream shop so he just let you. It’s been two days since your outing with Jake, and today the guys which included Heeseung,Sunghoon and Jay decided to go out for drinks since it was a Saturday and you agreed. Jake said no at first because he had homework but changed his mind shortly after you responded ‘yes’ in the group chat, “lets not drive tonight we can get a cab later” You implied as they agreed. The waitress comes over handing the bill to Jake as you sit back admiring jake as his eyes scan the bill pouting his lips nodding at everything on the bill checking to see if it was correct “Thank you” he says handing the waitress his debit card for him to pay “oh i love your accent!” the waitress says standing closer to jake to hear him better, your eyes quickly shift to her reading her body language as you send her a hostile glare frowning your eyebrows that she doesn’t seem to notice but Jake pick up instead smirking at your jealousy showing. Jake tells the waitress that he’s from australia and whats he’s majoring in as she rests a hand on his shoulders laughing at whatever Jake was saying to her “he’s not even that funny” you say quiet enough for you to hear letting out a hiccup “i’m going home” You say getting up wobbling a little leaving the table as Jay quickly walks over to support you so you don’t fall. Jake was trying to hold back a smile but he couldn’t help but grin from ear to ear, he got his receipt and woke up Sunghoon and Heeseung. “Jake are you going to take her home?” Jay asked still holding on to you “Yeah, you head back with the guys” Jake said switching spots with jay. Jake got you into the cab quickly sitting next to you giving the cab driver your address, you rested your head on his shoulders still frowning from before “why do you let random people touch you like that?” you drunkenly asked in a quiet tone and before Jake could respond you added “Especially in front of me! Jake you’re mine! i don’t want anyone else touching you” You say the last part quietly again wrapping your arms around him taking in his scent as you closed your eyes on his chest, if you weren’t drunk you could’ve heard his heart thumping against his chest and seen his cheeks going red. You were gradually falling asleep before you heard jake mumble “im sorry baby” kissing your head then resting his head on yours caressing your back.

You woke up feeling like absolute shit rubbing the sleep out your eyes feeling a dip on the other side of the bed, turning to see jake sleeping with his arm out where your head was laid a few moments ago and his other arm under his head with his mouth slightly parted open and his bangs covering his eyes. Your heart was palpitating wildly at the sight, you quickly get up to go wash up. You step out and see Jake on your bed now awake on his phone “how are you feeling?” he asks “better ! i don’t even remember how i got home” you chuckled trying to remember if you made a fool of yourself “we’ll thats good that you’re okay! i guess you don’t need care taker Jake today” He said getting up “nooo you can stay!” you say not wanting him to leave just yet “i have to go finish homework” he said giving you his puppy eyes as you pout “but i’ll be back!” he added quickly as you smiled nodding back “promise?” you said standing in front of Jake sticking your pinky out as he intertwined it with his “promise! i’ll see you later” he says ruffling your hair walking to the door waving goodbye before closing the door behind him. Jake kept his promise and returned to your apartment a couple hours later to keep you company while your roommate was away, he sat across from you helping you with your homework as you complained about never using it in the real world.

A week has passed since Jake heard your mini confession towards him, which he never mentioned to you but this gave him a boost to tell you how he really feels. He told the guys his plan on how he wanted to do it and they thought it was such a good idea and they were willing to help so Jungwon came up with a plan.

Then the camera started being lifted as you saw yourself coming into frame smiling at your best friends “y/nnn~” your friends called to you as you sat down in front the Jake who was filming you “hey! put that down” you said playfully frowning at the camera covering it with your hand as Jake’s giggle was heard, the video then cut to you at the beach running around holding hands with Niki trying to get away from Heeseung and Jay chasing after you two, the camera zoomed into you specifically following you around as your laughs and screams were being heard “cute” jake said softly from behind the camera still following your tracks. Hearing Jake call you ‘cute’ made you blush turning to him to give him a playful nudge as he also stared right back at you and smiled, your heart was picking up a speed. The clip then changed to you and Jake inside the 7/11 on an Thursday afternoon around 3 AM getting snacks as you walked in front of him stoping to grab a pastry scanning it over with your eyes turning to Jake “should we get this?” looking at him then noticing the camera slowly forming a smile on your face “yeah go ahead” Jake said coming closer to you getting up in your face with the camera as you laughed pushing the camera away, He got a clip of you scanning the items at self checkout and then recorded your intertwined hands as you walked back home.

You smiled remembering the exuse you told Jake “Do you remember what i told you for you to hold my hand?” You said giggling as he nodded “yeah, so nobody that late at night would go up to you and bother you because you were with your boyfriend” he said cheesing as you felt your cheeks go hot hearing him say boyfriend, you turned your direction back to the screen it was you now sitting next to Jake at a table at the park eating ice cream that started melting in your hand because you were eating it too slow “nooo” you said licking it off from the sides preventing it to drip onto your clothes as Jake swung his head back from laughter reaching into his bag next to the camera pulling out extra napkins for you “i knew you’d make a mess” he said holding the spoon in his mouth as he wiped it off your hands “im never getting a cone again!” you frowned watching him clean the sticky ice cream off your hand. “why are these clips just me?” you say embarrassed “Just watch” Jake says feeling his heart thump as he held your hand, you send him a suspicious look squinting your eyes together. The next clip was familiar, it was at Jay’s birthday party which you didn’t remember after a couple of drinks. You were playing beer pong with your partner being Heeseung against these other two people in your grade, You and Heeseung kept loosing taking shots every time the opposite team made it in leaving you guys with empty solo cups. You made your way over to Jake mumbling “where were you?” looking up at him with your tinted cheeks wrapping your arms around his waist “i missed you” you added with your face disappearing from the camera only seeing the back of your head for it bit “oh my god jake this is so embarrassing!!” You screech covering your face as jake giggled “watch” he said moving your hands away from your face holding them on his lap running his thumb over them “you can’t let your class see this!” you say regretting being drunk. You turn your attention back to the video once again, you were on your nightly walks with jake this time it looks like it was winter since you were wearing layers, turning back to face him seeing him recording as you stood and posed for the camera throwing up your usual peace sign “come here” You say gesturing with your hand as you hear the snow crunch with his steps, you take the camera away from him now facing it up to him “okay now i’ll take a picture of you” you say stepping back as he shyly giggles copying your pose with you saying 1 2 3 in the back “now one together” He says reaching back for his camera turning it to face you two, you tiptoed to lean your head on his shoulder and him leaning his head on to yours. “Jake” you say stepping back down “hmm?” He replied softly with his sparkling eyes looking into yours but the camera now facing down at your shoes “i love you” you say quietly at him as he took a couple seconds before responding back “i love you y/n” closing the gap between you pulling you in a hug as the camera was squished up against your padded jacket.

You had a mix of emotions not knowing how to feel after that last clip, but still confused why this would be apart of his daily routine video. “Y/n” you hear Jake say next to you clearing his throat, as you blink away a couple tears facing him “i made that daily routine project up, this is what i wanted to do” Jake added pointing to the laptop, you still sat there confused “Sooo?” He cut you off “y/n i really like you a lot okay” he said now trying to read your face as you sat there feeling your heart beat faster than before “and i want to continue making memories with you like in those videos, those are the best memories i have and i never want to forget them” he continued as your vision started getting blurry with your tears. “i want to be there for you all the time i want to be the person you always reach out to y/n, i want to be yours” He said reaching to wipe your eyes from your tears spilling as you let out a soft chuckle “Jake this is the sweetest thing ever” you sniff “I love you jake” You say with your lips quivering “you’ve always been my person Jakey” you add giggling pulling him in for a hug “Do you want to be my girlfriend” He asked holding on to you “like officially” he added causing you to giggle “i would love to” you say pulling back to give him a kiss that you’ve always thought about but feeling the taste of your salty tears as he held onto your waist gently. You guys sat there on your couch in each other embrace as he told you about your confession in that taxi cab and you covering yourself with a cushion from embarrassment.

There he was. Lying on his hospital bed,looking beautiful as ever. Even the little wounds and scratches on his face caused by the accident he got into didn't make him look less handsome. He was lucky...things really could've been worse. And as soon as you entered the room,your eyes met. Your big brown eyes were filled with tears . You were scared and incredibly worried about your injured boyfriend . But he smiled at you. Even though he was in pain, he smiled. There was nothing he hated more than seeing you like this. ,,Hey my love" was the first thing he said when he laid his eyes on you. You immediately started walking towards him. His eyes softened as soon as he saw the tear running down your rosy cheek. ,,Jay you have no fucking idea how scared I was" He weakly wiped away the tear on your cheek. ,,I know...so was I. " He really tried his best to calm you down. He slowly caressed your hand with his thumb,while you just stared at him. ,,How can someone look so beautiful after an accident" He chuckled at your question before softly shrugging his shoulders. He hissed in pain,which immediately made you get up from the chair you put next to his bed earlier. ,,I'm okay Princess. Please don't worry and sit down. I just shouldn't have moved my shoulders like that." He giggled,finding your fast reaction kind of cute. ,,Stop scaring me like that" You said with glassy eyes before sitting down again and leaning your head against his Arm. Jay smiled down at you. ,,Thank you for taking care of me like that i really love you a lot Y/N" His words made you smile against his Arm. You looked at him,before carefully placing a kiss on his forehead. ,,I love you more, pretty boy" . Before you could sit back down again, Jay slightly pulled your Hand towards him. ,,You forgot something" He said. You looked at him,slightly confused. He playfully smiled,before softly tapping his beautiful pink Lips with his Fingers. You immediately got the Message. You wanted to kiss him so bad...but you really didn't wanna hurt him. He knew exactly what you were thinking right now. ,,It's okay love you won't hurt me. Please ?" The Male said while looking at you with big eyes. How could you say no to that. So once again you carefully leaned in and placed a soft kiss on his Lips. Jay smiled as he tried to steal another kiss from your Lips. ,,No Jay you're gonna stay there. Stop moving i don't want you to be in pain" Jay pouted. ,,I forgot about the pain. Why am I at the Hospital again ?" You giggled at his stupid Joke as you shook your head. Jay slowly took your Hand before he carefully intertwined your Fingers. ,,Thank you for being mine" He said before softly kissing the back of your Hand. You slightly blushed. ,,Thank you for choosing me" You whispered. He smiled at you with so much love in his eyes,you had no idea how you even deserved a Boy like him. And a few Minutes later ,you both fell asleep listening to each others Heartbeats.

lying on your bed, your mind couldn't help but drift away into countless thoughts and possibilities that might happen some time – mainly about what could happen to you and your solace.

you pulled your phone out to text him, "hi luv" when he almost immediately replies back. your mind was set to ask him a question you'd been wanting to find the answer to, whether it be an unsure or a certain one, you just wanted to hear something from him. you wish it was the same for your fingers which were trembling in fear, learning the truth sometimes costs, after all.

"luv, what do you think would happen to us once school starts again and we get busy?"

you decided to start off with a rather vague question, a little off-the-point from the one you really wanted to ask him. he then gave you a reasonable answer,

"i'm pretty sure we'd find time to talk, it shouldn't be a hassle."

pretty rational, you'd say. he'd always been that kind of guy, he wouldn't want to sugarcoat things and end up hurting you unnecessarily instead of being clear and say what he thinks is right. he followed his own reply with something you didn't fully expect. you haven't exactly wrapped around your mind the fact that he knows you. he asked you why you were asking this all of a sudden, and that if you were doing okay and the like. he pretty much gave you an opening to say what you really want to say, so you went for it.

"i'm afraid of what's gonna happen between us, i'm afraid we're gonna drift apart, i'm afraid you'll like somebody else and i'm just afraid you won't love me anymore."

he did see your reply quickly, but it seemed like he was taking time to digest what you just sent. his speech bubbles kept appearing and disappearing, and it was making you worry a little- who were you kidding? it made you worry a lot as you thought you might have said something wrong. "i'm sorry, luv. i didn't mean to bombard you with a question like that it's just that i'm really idk nervous you don't have to answer that" you added.

"as long as we have trust in each other, i don't see why we'd have a problem."

he also isn't the most affectionate and reassuring guy in the whole world but you get what he meant and he really trusted you – that really meant a lot to you since it came from a guy who have always had his guards up. a smile starts to form on the curves of your lips for the assurance he gave you. but right when you were about to reply, he added,

"and remember that i will always love you 'til i'm incapable of feeling anything at all."

you stared at your phone for a good minute, this time, you couldn't stop smiling – like your lips are taped on the sides of your ears. you rubbed your eyes to see if this is all maybe a dream, it isn't. your whole body softened to the romantic and wholesome message he just sent. half-conscious that you haven't replied yet, you chose to savour the moment that you didn't know was possible – to feel deep love and concern from someone a thousand miles away. "hey, you still there?" he shoots another message after five minutes.

"i mean you're right, we're still under the same sky and moon, right?"

you sent. "haha yeah :')" he replied. you swore you could hear his chuckle in your mind. he's been implanted in your mind and his love in your heart. you abruptly got up and took a picture of the moon to send to him. "it's so prettyyyy", you said. he replied,

"pretty, but you're still prettier."

you thought to yourself that you'll never get used to get used to his compliments since it always hits you so hard and that you know to yourself that he's a genuine guy who wouldn't just compliment you for attention.

your night went on with casual and deep talks with him. you also played mobile games together to kill time every time he's done all his work, he's a keeper for sure. and, you see yourself in so many memories ahead of you two.

pounding knocking is heard on the door, startling the 02 liners who were the only ones in the kitchen. sunghoon was dozing off, deeply staring at a cereal box. jay chugging a bottle of coke, working to get a caffeine boost. jake was partly dreaming and mindlessly munching on cereal.

“who is it?” heeseung calls out from their shared room. his hair was damped and was tousling it with a blue, hand towel.

sunoo who was applying his moisturizer, shrugs his shoulder. ni-ki is still dead asleep and won't wake up from the careless calls of his hyungs to make sure he's still breathing and jungwon was in the bathroom, washing up.

“one of you. jay, jake, hoon, open the door please,” heeseung sighs, wandering into the vanity room.

jake offers and unlocks the door to be greeted with you.

you puff out the crisp air, occupying your hands in the pocket of your coat. feet wiggling in place, you acknowledge jake with a smile

“oh, (y/n)? what are you doing here at 8 in the morning?” jake tilts his head. don't get them wrong, the boys loved to see you but it was very early and you normally aren't up at this time.

you would have gone to see jungwon as soon as the clock had struck 12:00 am but there wasn't a way that you would be even deemed awake enough to drive. resolving for seeing him as early as you could, your eyes were hardly open when you made your way over.

“i'm here to see jungwon?” you cut to the chase. the cold was nipping at your face as you started to sense your lips becoming colder.

“ah right, today is his birthday,” jake opens the door wider, granting yourself in. you were thankful that the heat was blaring in their house on the freezing winter morning.

you head to the bedroom, the first place where you would assume jungwon would be. you run into heeseung, surprising the both of you.

“oh good morning (y/n), looking for jungwon?” he snickers seeing you nod, lightly bouncing from excitement.

“in the bathroom,” he points.

jungwon finishes washing up, towel around his neck, and as soon as he opened the door, he was struck by arms encircling around him.

he immediately catches the person who launches themselves to him, presuming it to be one of his fellow members until he looks down.

“(y/n)? what are you-”

before jungwon can complete his sentence, he feels a pair of lips on his forehead. cold hands cupping his face, causing him to shiver.

then his cheeks, making sure to kiss his dimples as he can’t hold back his smile.

you planted a delicate kiss on the tip of his nose, that you adored so much.

your lips eventually land on his lips for a few seconds as he flutters his eyes closed.

you can overhear some of the member's cheering and some gagging, feeling a mix of disgusted and envious.

you pull away, smiling and your hands softly caressing his cheeks “happy birthday jungwon”
