OKAY ANOTHER THEORY REGARDING TMAGP!

You know how the newest episode (TMAGP 11) is called "Marked"? Why is that, you may ask? TMA and TMAGP have a track-record of naming episodes clever names with multiple meanings, and I believe this is one of those instances. Obviously there's the obvious meaning, about the skin of the body being "marked" with tattoos, but then there's the other meaning! Later in the episode we hear that Lena is testing Gwendolyn Bouchard to prepare her, and one of those tests is Mr. Bonzo. Sound familiar? Because that's exactly what 'Elias Bouchard' (Jonah Magnus) did to Jon, waiting for him to be marked by all the fears, so he could attempt the real Watchers Crown ritual. That's even how it was described by him in his statement! (MAG 160). So that's, in my opinion, the other meaning of "Marked". Lena is in some way "marking" Gwen, (maybe for her own gain like 'Elias'?)

ranting time for my 100th post

Okay. I need to scream to someone.

As an autistic person myself/someone's who is *most definitely* on the spectrum, I find that I am becoming more self aware, thus becoming aware of other people's autistic/neurodivergent behavior.

Continuing on with that information...

Does anyone else think/agree with me if I were to say that there's a pretty high chance Izuku is autistic, or at least on *some sort* of the neurodivergent spectrum??? Maybe someone else has said it before I don't know but I went on an entire spiral last night as I was trying to come up with ideas for an AU I'm doing😓

But, just listing some of the stuff he does that I personally do that I know is a hyperfixation:

Hyperfixates (most obvious being All Might/Toshinori Yagi [who could also be a special interest not just a hyperfixation], but also the other heroes and even villains)

Constantly trying to be optimistic about things/MASKING.

Immense guilt weighing you down when you think you've done something wrong even if it's something as small as putting something in the wrong spot by accident

Having hundreds of notebooks and other things to keep track of data from hyperfixations/special interests

Collecting objects of hyperfixtion/merchandise and shtuff for hyperfixations

Having a strict schedule/routine to follow (his training schedule *cough cough*)

RAMBLING NON-STOP ABOUT SPECIAL INTERESTS/HYPERFIXATIONS

When we look at Izuku's rooms, there's obviously the All Might special interest. We know all about his notebooks, and (if I'm remembering correctly) there are thirteen of them. While to some it may not seem like much (maybe idk I don't have normal interactions with people), those notebooks are filled to the *brim*. There's also *more* notebooks than that, as there's ones about his classmates, and ones about OFA, and other stuff as well.

When he was training, yes I know All Might made the routine for him, but Izuku took the routine and made it his own and followed it everyday (even though it grew unhealthy).

Izuku is honestly just a kid who doesn't know how to have a normal human interaction unless he is put in charge and is under a sort of stress in his brain. It may not seem stressful to others, but in order to have the "confidence" to be in charge, his brain creates stressors in order to function "correctly" in those situations.

He studies and trains obsessively, and is a people pleaser to all extents.

There's probably more that I could talk about, but *I've* been rambling here for a little while here now😭😭

Having autism is genuinely an insane experience because so much of my life right now is trying to make sure I’m not getting irrationally angry at people for no reason,,,, Like I can not overstate how often the things that trigger my anger are absolutely no one else’s fault.

For example: when I’m cooking, unless you are doing the activity with me, I do not want you in the same room as me. It doesn’t matter if you’re just trying to hangout and talk, or just sitting down nearby, or even if you’re cooking your own meal - if you interact with me in any capacity while I am Doing The ThingTM I will be mad about it, and that’s not your fault!

The worst part is how unfair the whole situation is. It’s no one’s fault they wanna exist in a communal space with me, people don’t deserve to have my anger inflicted upon them for just being around! It’s also not fair to me because I don’t want to be upset at them? I don’t like being mad at people! I don’t like being angry! I refuse to hurt other people just because I have a weirdly specific trigger!

Autism really decides ‘No’ sometimes and I guess we (me) all just gotta deal with it huh?

I have this headcanon that Nico has a color and light sensitivity, so his comfort color has always been something grayscale. He absolutely cannot STAND bright lights, or colors, he hates it.

One thing he has found that helps him calm down though, and that he really likes, are old black and white films (Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Grace Kelly)

Since Cecil’s introducing him to Marvel, he found himself falling in LOVE with Wandavision. He wants him and Will to eventually go as Wanda and Vision for Halloween
