There’s something so heartbreaking about watching your favourite parts of a tv show, the parts that you have loved for years and found so much joy in, being misunderstood, forgotten and erased by it’s predecessors.

13’s beautiful TARDIS interior, and sonic screwdriver erased to make way for nostalgia.

13’s clothes, her entire outfit, burnt up never to be seen again without any explanation.

Yaz, who 13 was in love with, who she wanted to tell everything to and spend the rest of her days with, not even mentioned - not even hinted at!

13’s character, her core personality traits and storyline reduced to ‘woman Doctor’ and fundamentally misunderstood!

13’s fam, the family that she found and built, not even mentioned or reminisced about!

I’m glad that the Timeless Child wasn’t erased, but I feel like so much else was that RTD didn’t properly watch 13’s era. It’s like he was given a summary and only took the parts that he thought was interesting.

13’s memory deserves better! She deserves to have passed on the baton to Ncuti’s Doctor, to have him running around high on regeneration energy while wearing her outfit! To use her sonic for an episode before choosing to make his own!

13 deserves to be remembered as a Doctor who was loved dearly by her companions and fans, as a Doctor who went through so much tragedy right from the start and struggled to deal with that, but still managed to face down her foes! As a someone who was optimistic and kind, but could also be cruel and harsh when needed! She was complicated, she went through so much, I love her and she will always be my Doctor.

She deserves to be remembered as more than ‘woman Doctor’, because she was so much more than that.

It's actually still Wednesday here, so I'm on time! Thank you as always for tagging me @dear-massacre 💗 mwah!

Derek was right to step beside him because the minute Stiles stood up, his long legs betrayed him by getting stuck in the chair.

“Oof,” Stiles smacked against Derek’s chest.

“Careful.” Derek grabbed his elbows. His arms looked so big against Stiles’, even though he wasn’t that thin anymore. Thick hairy forearms with veins hugging them in the most intimate embrace.

Stiles felt his face heat up and prayed for the light to be low enough to hide it.

“Sorry.”

Derek snorted. “C’mon, you disaster.”

He herded Stiles to his room, keeping a careful hand around his waist until they reached the bed.

Stiles’ heart fluttered and trashed inside his chest like a moth caught under the glass, desperate to be let out to kiss its sun and die in flames.

He would never truly get this. Not like Stiles wanted, with flamed kisses, and hot hands, and the shared warmth. Derek wasn’t his, he never would be. This touch was a fleeting accident, a nice gesture from a concerned friend.

Stiles was a fool.

“Thank you,” he chuckled as he fell to the bed. He rubbed his face to send the blush away and smiled at Derek standing above him. “You’re so nice, dude, honestly.”

I love you, and I’m scared of what it would do to me.

Derek stood there for a moment, a strange look on his face. The amused smile that decorated his lips had long since faded, leaving something familiar playing on them instead.

“Sorry for waking you,” the man murmured. Stiles tugged the covers over himself to hide how much his low voice made him shiver.

“Mmm. G’night.”

“Good night, sunshine.”

I just ranted at my partner about a minor scene in Strange New Worlds and how much character information they packed into it.

La'An has just come from therapy and Pike offers her a plate of food. She says no, then Una and M'Benga are like you should try the waffles. Then La'An eats it and is enthusiastic about it.

In minutes you have learned about how La'An doesn't like being perceived as needing anything, how much Pike loves to use home and comfort to bring people together, how everyone is aware of La'An's bullshit and that they know how to get around it, and how easily La'An will give in because ultimately she does want to be cared for by her colleagues and friends.

Star Trek is good.

ranting time for my 100th post

Okay. I need to scream to someone.

As an autistic person myself/someone's who is *most definitely* on the spectrum, I find that I am becoming more self aware, thus becoming aware of other people's autistic/neurodivergent behavior.

Continuing on with that information...

Does anyone else think/agree with me if I were to say that there's a pretty high chance Izuku is autistic, or at least on *some sort* of the neurodivergent spectrum??? Maybe someone else has said it before I don't know but I went on an entire spiral last night as I was trying to come up with ideas for an AU I'm doing😓

But, just listing some of the stuff he does that I personally do that I know is a hyperfixation:

Hyperfixates (most obvious being All Might/Toshinori Yagi [who could also be a special interest not just a hyperfixation], but also the other heroes and even villains)

Constantly trying to be optimistic about things/MASKING.

Immense guilt weighing you down when you think you've done something wrong even if it's something as small as putting something in the wrong spot by accident

Having hundreds of notebooks and other things to keep track of data from hyperfixations/special interests

Collecting objects of hyperfixtion/merchandise and shtuff for hyperfixations

Having a strict schedule/routine to follow (his training schedule *cough cough*)

RAMBLING NON-STOP ABOUT SPECIAL INTERESTS/HYPERFIXATIONS

When we look at Izuku's rooms, there's obviously the All Might special interest. We know all about his notebooks, and (if I'm remembering correctly) there are thirteen of them. While to some it may not seem like much (maybe idk I don't have normal interactions with people), those notebooks are filled to the *brim*. There's also *more* notebooks than that, as there's ones about his classmates, and ones about OFA, and other stuff as well.

When he was training, yes I know All Might made the routine for him, but Izuku took the routine and made it his own and followed it everyday (even though it grew unhealthy).

Izuku is honestly just a kid who doesn't know how to have a normal human interaction unless he is put in charge and is under a sort of stress in his brain. It may not seem stressful to others, but in order to have the "confidence" to be in charge, his brain creates stressors in order to function "correctly" in those situations.

He studies and trains obsessively, and is a people pleaser to all extents.

There's probably more that I could talk about, but *I've* been rambling here for a little while here now😭😭
