He also graduated MIT at the age of 14 with a 5.0 GPA. He unfortunately wasn’t able to attend graduation due to being in a coma a week prior. He prefers salty over sweet and sour. Vincent is overly protective of Tatum, wanting what’s best for her even if she doesn’t agree. He feels like he owes Tatum for saving him from their mother despite her continuous efforts of telling him he doesn’t. Vincent is also afraid of heights. He’ll make witty remarks if uncomfortable or fearful or just to lighten the mood. Usually his sister will pat him on the head to straighten him up or calm him down.

Top Ten MCU Actors Who Deserved a Bigger Role

So, after last week’s jaunt to the old DCEU (RIP), this week I’m tackling something I’ve talked about a lot more and, frankly, like a whole lot more too: the MCU.

One of the things the MCU has largely done very well (and, to be fair, so did the DCEU) is casting. That’s right, I’m still on an actors-playing-superheroes jaunt. But think about the core Avengers; arguably one of the problems the MCU is having right now is that they got it so right from 2008-2012 that it’s totally overshadowing everything that’s come along afterwards. The original Avengers lineup is a murderer’s row of super-cool charisma machines, and this extends to the supporting characters, from Fury to Happy to Peggy. Even when the new films and shows are great and equally well-cast – Shang-Chi, Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight – it’s a very, very tough act to follow.

Which is why it sticks out when they get it wrong.

Now, I do not mean they cast the wrong actor, or a bad actor; yes, of course, there have been very famous (and infamous) course corrections when it comes to casting, running the gamut from creative differences to, er, death. But every once in a while they cast an actor in a film or show, and you’re left sighing and scratching your head, thinking, why did they sign on for this? Basically, it boils down to: sometimes they cast a great actor, but for whatever reason the character or the film is just a bit pants; or they cast someone with a view to establishing or embiggening the role in future films, but it just doesn’t seem to happen; or they cast someone who then blows up and you’ve shackled this huge star to a piddly character.

So that’s what we have here: ten actors who you sort of end up wishing hadn’t been cast in these roles, because maybe then they could have been given other, bigger, better roles in the MCU. Proper leading roles, as befits their talents; or juicy, well-written villain parts – a Loki or a Thanos – that could have allowed them some ample opportunity to chew the scenery. Not all of these are done-in-one parts; certainly, terrific actors have been cast in relatively small roles but done it so well you can’t really argue (Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer, Stanley Tucci as Abraham Erskine). But sometimes, you do wish for more.

And that’s the big takeaway here: all of these are great actors, and all of them I just wanted to see more of. And whilst there is some precedent for actors double-dipping in the MCU, it’s unlikely that as prominent a supporting player as Heimdall could realistically reappear as the lead in his own franchise. Anyway; let’s get into character…

Mads Mikkelsen (Kaecilius, Doctor Strange, 2016): the very inspiration for this whole list, because I thought he’d have been good as Doctor Doom, except he was already spoken for. Here, he really tries to give depth and character to a pretty one-note spurned hero who breaks bad. He has unfortunate eye shadow, a forgettable name, and is a bit of a sad squib unfortunately. Mikkelsen really could have delivered a terrific, memorable, all-time-great character; this, tragically, ain’t it.

Christopher Eccleston (Malekith, Thor: The Dark World, 2013): arguably the poster child for “great actor shackled in shit role”, Eccleston is a terrific performer who tackles weighty, complex, often controversial characters. Absolutely none of his charm, talent, or eloquence is visible underneath his heavy makeup and accent. He’s just a snarling evil-doer, a Saturday morning cartoon villain. Now, I’m not sure old Chris would have fancied signing a ten-film contract to play, I dunno, Professor X or something, but he should have had something better than this.

Rebecca Hall (Maya Hansen, Iron Man 3, 2013): apparently Hall’s character was supposed to be revealed as the Big Bad of Iron Man 3, the brains behind the whole operation, Guy Pearce’s boss. That would make more sense as to why an actor of Hall’s power ended up in such a slight role, a sad figure who’s written off quite early on. Iron Man 3 is arguably the best MCU film, and Maya’s tragic arc is interesting, but Hall could have given us so much more.

Kinglsey Ben-Adir (Gravik, Secret Invasion, 2023): Ben-Adir is on a roll at the moment, his star skyrocketing. Marvel were onto a good thing, casting him as a baddie in a 2023 project. Unfortunately, that project was Secret Invasion, probably the worst thing they’ve ever produced. He spent six episodes being the alien equivalent of a petulant teenager, shouting at grown-ups in an inexplicable Welsh accent, wandering slowly between the show’s two sets, and ultimately having an unfortunate CG-addled fight with the equally-wasted Emilia Clarke. The only upside is you could feasibly cast him in another role and just say the Skrull Gravik had copied Ben-Adir’s face.

Chewetel Ejiofor (Mordo, Doctor Strange, 2016): we get to the first character who might end up going somewhere and justifying their actor. Mordo is a pretty big Doctor Strange villain, and his supporting turn in the first Strange film did seem to set up a potential arc. Ejiofor is a leading man who could have anchored his own franchise; ending up a second-rate Strange baddie who, in Multiverse of Madness, is reduced to an alternate-universe cameo. There’s no suggestion his arc will go anywhere; he doesn’t feel like he’ll be the focus of a third Doctor Strange, let alone anything else in the MCU. And that’s such a shame.

Idris Elba (Heimdall, Thor, 2011): this one might be a bit controversial, as Heimdall crops up in no less than five MCU films, given a bit of a minor hero arc in Ragnarok. But let’s face it: there’s no way you’d give the role to Elba nowadays. Christ, you’d give him Thor before you gave him Heimdall. Elba could have ended up as Captain Britain or Blade (British in the comics!) or, let’s be honest, any Marvel hero or villain he wanted.

Sterling K. Brown (N’Jobu, Black Panther, 2018): another possibly controversial one, because Brown is terrific as N’Jobu, a really tragic figure whose actions set in motion the film’s plot. It’s a very small but powerful role, and arguably you need an actor of Brown’s stature to deliver it. All the same, it’s a pity that he’s been and gone in the MCU now. I’d have loved for him to have a meaty, recurring role across multiple films.

Elizabeth Debicki (Ayesha, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, 2017): again, Debicki’s Ayesha is in two films and although a very small role is pivotal to the plots of both. She does a terrific job, lathered in gold paint, of portraying the supposedly perfect Ayesha’s fraying edges and encroaching mania as her plans unravel. But it’s Elizabeth Debicki. She could have been Sue Storm, or Jean Grey, or a dozen other characters. Arguably she’s another movie star who was cast a bit too early in their career, but it’s still a pity that we’ve seen all she has to give in the MCU. Hopefully James Gunn will grab her for the DCU.

Anson Mount (Black Bolt, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, 2022): is this fair? I’m not sure; Mount’s cameo in Multiverse of Madness is essentially a comedy hat-tip to the much-maligned Inhumans series (confession: I only watched the first episode but it was crap). But as anyone who’s seen Star Trek knows, Mount is terrific, a multilayered heroic leader; there are a dozen big MCU characters he could play (including, er, Black Bolt). I guess in the infinite multiverse we may not have seen the last of him.

Gemma Chan (Minn-Erva, Captain Marvel, 2019 and Sersi, Eternals, 2021): Chan gets a special mention here due to sheer bad luck. One of the rare MCU double-dippers, she was a supporting baddie with blue skin in Captain Marvel, but was brought back sans makeup to play the lead in Eternals. And, as the lead, coming back after a one-and-done bad guy, she’s not been “underused” really. Except! Sadly Eternals was a misfire, a weird (and, in my opinion, fascinating and interesting) flop. The general consensus is it was a bad film (it isn’t) and didn’t do very well (it didn’t), and everything seems to suggest that the Eternals story is effectively done in the MCU. Seeing as the powers-that-be are quite fond of tapping back into the franchise’s ugly ducklings (both Incredible Hulk and The Dark World have spawned incredibly important plot points or characters and have been revisited extensively), I wouldn’t be surprised if elements of Eternals do pop up again in the future. But I can’t really see them bringing back the main cast, which unfortunately means the very talented Gemma Chan is probably done with the MCU. Sob.

Sadly no room for Chris O’Dowd’s character from The Dark World. I did nearly have a special compilation entry for The First Avenger, though, which features tiny roles for future stars Natalie Dormer, Richard Armitage, and Jenna Coleman. That’s three Avengers-level leading actors, right there!

The Man In The Green Tie (NSFW)

Sometimes Emma hated these formal dinner parties and other times she quite enjoyed them. Tonight was one of those nights that she felt a little of both emotions. She was dressed in her signature white and wore a diamond pendant on a gold chain just in the right place to display her cleavage. It was working. Half the men in the room had noticed her. Of course they noticed all the other beautiful women in the room too. Men were fickle like that. Some of them even went after the plain looking and ugly women, believing they had a better chance with them. Emma didn’t care for hearing all their thoughts of conquest tonight, only the ones concerning her.

Frost International was her Company and this dinner with partners, investors, and associates, was important for future relations. She had met almost everyone here in previous dealings. Everyone except one man. He had longish black hair and wore a black suit with a green tie. He sat at a table with Justin Hammer and some journalist whose name Emma couldn’t remember. All she knew was that the man in green tie was one of the most fascinating men she had ever had the pleasure of ming reading. He wasn’t paying much attention to the women in the room. He noticed them of course, but only briefly. He wasn’t thinking about money or power, in spite of being associated with Justin Hammer and attending her dinner in the first place. No, his thoughts were thoughts of amusement at being able to deceive Justin Hammer so thoroughly. He had only one weapon to sell. There were none in production, no test models or protypes, just the one, and Hammer was willing to pay a signifigant amount for a supply that did not exist.

Emma got down from her place at the bar and approached Hammer’s table, making sure that her slinky white dress still clung to her in all the right places.

“Miss Frost?” Justin looked up as she stopped at his table. “It’s a pleasure to see you here tonight.”

“Mind if I join you?” Emma didn’t wait for his reply. Justin wanted her to go away and not ruin his business deal. She wasn’t going anywhere. She pulled up a chair. “Those barstools do a number on a girl’s ass,” she said, waiting to see if either of them would look. “Your little table over here looked so much more comfortable. I don’t believe we’ve had the pleasure. I’m Emma,” she offered her hand to the stranger in the green tie.

To Emma surprise, the stranger did not take the opportunity to look at her backside. In fact he mentally told himself not to. Instead he took her hand and he kissed it like a true gentleman. What shocked her even more was that she actually felt something in response to his polite manners.

“My name is Lucas Olsen,” he told her with such sincerity that had she not been a telepath she might have believed it was true. Lucas wasn’t his name. He was thinking about his name. It was Loki. He was not human. “This is a lovely party you’ve created here,” he told her.

Most men would have made a point to say something about Emma herself being lovely as well. Loki didn’t. He didn’t even think it. Emma couldn’t figure out why that irked her so much. It wasn’t that he didn’t think her pretty. He was as distracted by the placement of her diamond necklace as Hammer was. He wasn’t lacking in confidence like some of the men in the room and yet he did not pursue her. Why?

“I appreciate the sentiment but I wouldn’t call it lovely. It’s an unfortunate necessity of this business. I can think of a lot of things more fun to do on a night like this,” Emma told them, her gaze entirely on Loki.

“One ought not mix business and pleasure,” Loki said with a hint of a smile. He had understood her insinuation and was more interested in playing hard to get than in chasing after her.

“W-what things?” Hammer spoke up. “What fun things would you do?”

It was in that moment that Loki thought Hammer to be a sad pathetic little man who wouldn’t know how to win a woman if she were handed to him. The journalist who sat with them, and whom Emma had neglected to greet, got up uncomfortably and left. Emma wished that Hammer would do the same.

“You’re an inventor Hammer. I’m sure you could think of something,” Emma barely disguised her annoyance.

“Well, I’m usually too busy to do much of anything fun. That’s part of being a hard working, stable...single...American,” he said, trailing off and failing to deliver his intended confidence.

“Plenty of hard working Americans know how to have fun. Maybe you’re just a buzzkill,” she told him. It wasn’t nice but she wasn’t known for being nice. “Maybe you’d like to get me a drink?”

Insulted, Hammer got up and left. He didn’t come back.

“I would say that was a little harsh but…” Loki began.

“But you don’t like him any more than I do,” Emma knew it to be the truth.

“I may not like him but he is still useful,” Loki said with a shrug.

“You know what else is useful?” Emma crossed her legs beneath the table and allowed the foot of her open toed shoe to touch his leg. “A little rest and relaxation, don’t you think?”

Loki did not respond to her touch as she expected. Oh he was interested but there was something of amusement in his response. Maybe it was because he was alien. Maybe his people couldn’t be expected to respond like humans.

“I suppose we could all do with a diversion here and there,” he agreed.

It was then that his thoughts became clear. He knew. He knew she was a telepath. He knew she was toying with him, and he was toying with her just as much in return.

“How did you…?” Emma began. This had never happened to her before. She had always been the one in power over men. Her beauty and her ability to read minds, her education as a sex therapist had given her a distinct advantage. And now this gorgeous man was playing her?

Loki smiled. “I have certain abilities. I may not be able to read a person’s thoughts from moment to moment but I can see their memories if I touch them. You gave me your hand and from there I knew the truth of it.”

“Then why didn’t I realize that until now? How are you able to block out at least some of my telepathic abilities?”

“Magic,” he said simply.

“So you can read memories, and do magic? Anything else?”

“It’s a rather long list,” he said demurely.

“Fuck,” she muttered. This was all falling apart now. It had been six months since she’d taken a man to bed. Most of them had been too stupid and self centered to bother with. After six months she was starting to get desperate but not so desperate that anyone would do. She had thought when she came to Hammer’s table to meet his friend that her chance had finally come. Apparently she’d be spending another night alone.

Loki raised an eyebrow at her word. “I wouldn’t say no to that.”

For the first time in years, Emma found herself blushing over something a man had said to her.

“Should I take your blushing as a yes?” he asked her.

Emma felt entirely out of place in this scenario. Never in her life had she been deposed of her power like this. And yet she couldn’t say that she hated it. Not at all. “Yes,” she said, all her hesitation ended. “How about a dance first?”

Loki led her out onto the dance floor and he turned out to be an expert dancer. He pulled her rather close to himself and took in a breath. She had never danced with anyone without knowing his every thought and desire. Some of Loki’s thoughts broke through but they were vague and even unclear. She had never felt so powerless, never so anxious, and certainly never so intensely turned on.

When the song hand ended Emma went to the bar and downed a drink. She wanted this, but it was so weird that she definitely needed a drink. Loki followed her and watched her with concern.

“If you’re not ready, there’s no need to rush,” he told her.

Emma spun on her heel to face him. He was being polite. He was truly concerned that he might be pushing too much too quickly and was too well mannered to do that to any woman, despite his desires. Emma dropped the glass in her hand and it shattered at her feet. Such kindness was rare in the men she had met. This one was dangerous. She had picked up that much from his thoughts, but he had standards. He would not harm a lady. She wasn’t accustomed to being thought of as anything other than an object to be lusted after and yet this man would never treat her as such.

“No, I am ready,” she said, stepping over the glass to return to him on the dancefloor.

The second dance was slower this time and both of his hands rested on her backside. She wrapped one arm around his neck and pressed close enough that she could feel his hardness against her center. The entire dance was not appropriate for a business dinner but she lacked the ability to care. It had been so long and he was more enticing than any dance partner she had ever stood across from. He leaned close enough that his breath was warm against her neck and Emma felt wetness between her legs.

The song came to an end all to quick and the sound of tinkling glass broke apart the few couples dancing. Charles Blake her CFO was making an announcement. She had forgotten that she had requested for Charles to do this speech. It was going to take a good twenty minutes followed by a formal dinner being served.

“I can’t leave, probably not for hours,” Emma said, frustrated. “I did set this up after all.”

“There’s no need to leave,” Loki told her. “I can give you exactly what you want, right here.”

“I’m not sure I can be that discreet,” she said, an eyebrow raised. “Not in this dress.”

“Who cares about the dress?” Loki said. “You’re a telepath. I have magic. I’m sure we can work something out.”

Her jaw dropped open. “You mean…?”

He nodded. “You sit at your table and I’ll sit at mine. No one will be the wiser.”

Emma went back to her seat at the bar and Loki back to his table where Hammer had been. She was barely seated when the thoughts began to hit her. Not just thoughts but images and sensations, very real sensations. This was going to be more complicated than she had thought.

It seemed as if Emma were no longer in the banquet room at all but instead in a bedroom with large open windows to a view of a world she had never seen. Loki’s homeworld. It was so real that she could smell a far off ocean breeze as well as the same scent she had smelled on his collar when she danced with him. He took her hand and pulled her to the bed, unzipping the back of her dress and letting it drop to the floor. Then he was kissing her. It felt so entirely real that Emma worried she wasn’t remaining still in the real world.

Emma worked on pulling off his clothes while he kissed her starting with the green necktie. His hands were on her breasts, his tongue in her mouth and Emma had every intention of pushing him over and climbing astride him. He gently pushed her back and crawled atop of her, resting his weight on his elbows and continuing to kiss her. She lifted her hips to encourage him to continue. She had waited so long for this that she didn’t need further preparation. She was already so wet, so needy, that she didn’t want to wait a moment longer. He pushed his way inside her and she let out a moan. He went still.

“Oh god don’t stop!” she told him, desperate for friction.

Loki grinned a little at her plea but he heeded her words and started moving again. He moved in and out of her slowly at first and Emma sought his mouth for more kisses. He gave them to her and then he moved to kiss down her jawline and her neck and beneath her earlobe. His pace increased and she lifted her hips a little higher to find her center of pleasure.

“Harder?” she asked of him and he gladly obliged, plunging into her deeper and harder than before.

Emma could not stop the moans that came from her and they were only increased by hearing his grunts of pleasure. Then the moment came when she could finally let go of the building tension. Her body pulsated in relief.

Emma came to herself and found she was still in the banquet room. Charles was still going on and on about financial matters and no one in the room was aware of what had just transpired in her mind. She had apparently kept still and silent. The stool beneath her was a little wet where she sat. Her eyes met Loki’s across the room and he grinned knowingly. Emma suddenly felt warm and she reached for a folded paper dinner program to fan herself with. Loki smiled more broadly at her flush face and she wanted to slap him as much as she wanted to laugh.

Once Charles had finished his little speech, Loki crossed the room and sat next to her at the bar.

“I can’t actually stay long tonight. Now that I’m done with Hammer, I’ll be leaving. I know where to find you though. My mind can reach across great distances, if that’s something you wanted anyway?” he asked her.

Emma bit her lip, intrigued by his offer. A telepathic lover? “I don’t want to wait six months until the next encounter..”

“Believe me, you won’t,” he told her.

“And you’re going to send me telepathic flowers and chocolate?” she teased.

“I don’t think I’ll have to,” he leaned into her space and placed a kiss, not on her lips but on her forehead. “Goodnight Emma Frost, until we meet again.”

“Until we meet again,” she told him as she watched him go, shaking her head at herself. Somehow, his green necktie was still in her hand.

Maybe we could look into clean energy. That was Howard’s plan all along.”

At the edge of time Loki sat back in the quilted leather of his seat and smiled, closing the portal with a flick of his wrist. His little worker bees at the TVA had done their job well.

He took a sip of wine and closed his eyes, content with the new timeline he was constructing. Still leading his past self down the path to his current position, though he made the journey far more palatable.

It’d all gone quickly after that, controlling the TVA to manipulate time and his version of the main timeline, quickly ridding himself of Mobius, Ravonna and He Who Remains once it was reasonable.

Honestly? This snippet mostly summed up my take on Victor von Doom in this AU, and I'm not sure how in-character he is considering my main reference base for him is the 2005-7 movies and a handful of comic book panels.

Apologies for any inaccuracies, I'm playing very fast and loose with how I would have made him fit in the MCU. Plus this AU's turning out a lot, lot fluffier than I'd originally expected, too, considering the original premise was supposed to just be 'SI-OC as a villain protagonist, let's see where it goes!' and not much else.

Okay, so if we're talking about potential crushes, then it's obviously very one-sided at first [because Justin's brand of obliviousness has him younger-sibling-zoning anyone remotely his age for the longest time].

After all, these two met in boarding school, and were only physically reunited years later but if we're exploring how this ship would work, here's how I think it'd go:

Victor von Doom didn't think much of his study buddy, at first.

Because at first, he just wanted a quiet place to read, and most other children his age were rowdy and kept trying to get him to play with them, or tried to pick childish fights over nothing, and he had no patience for anything of the sort because he was here, at boarding school instead of with his family, and he'd heard the whispers of growing tensions and he knew they'd sent him away for his own safety but that didn't mean he had to like it.

So he mostly kept his nose in a book, and focused on his studies, and just generally tried not to think too much about what was going on in his home country.

If that meant he was a bit more snappish than the average child, he didn't particularly find it in him to care. Sure, this place was lauded as where the social elites sent their spawn to network from an early age, so what?

...as such, he didn't expect to make any friends.

But he did, starting from the moment they wordlessly agreed to share the alcove because there weren't many other quiet places to study for the upcoming exams.

From there, what Victor would have expected to be a one-off turns into a strange sort of routine as they meet up week after week from then on, giving each other a brisk nod as they pull out their books and set to work.

It's...surprisingly nice, having someone to study with. Victor's not certain how old his companion is, but he's quiet and hardworking and generally less draining to be around than most children their age.

Their first conversation is several months after they've first met, when Victor didn't notice he'd forgotten to grab a pencil for his worksheets and his...schoolmate[?] lends him a spare.

From then on out, their friendship is something gradual, something comfortable. Victor's companion respects boundaries in ways he hasn't really seen outside of his family— is sensitive enough to his moods that he knows when to change the subject, and when Victor's struggling to articulate his feelings and just needs time to do so.

...it's one of, if not the thing Victor misses most, when he gets pulled out of boarding school.

Because after that, things only go downhill from there.

Latveria's civil war was... bloody, let's just leave it at that.

Brutal, with a laundry list of factions and alliances that were forged and broken from one breath to another and Victor hadn't set out to be the leader of his faction— but it wasn't like he had any other choice.

He was one of the last surviving members of his family, if there was any hope that his country would be anything other than a fragmented mess then he had to step up.

Even if that meant a teenager was the face of one of the most eminent factions of this damn war, someone nobody really took seriously, and if Victor hadn't had years of seeing his oldest friend's charisma at work then he honestly has no clue how he would've managed to get as far as he had.

And then things escalated even more, and Victor honestly hadn't expected to live to see the end of the fighting, let alone what came after.

One of his advisors was the one to suggest making one last attempt at buying their weapons through a vaguely legitimate source; nobody with any sense was selling to their region, but the black market favored some of their biggest rivals and things were getting desperate enough that Victor signed off on it.

It was a long shot, and they all knew it.

...as such, that first shipment of Hammer Industries weapons took them all by surprise.

Victor had never set out to become the new leader of Latveria.

But here he was now, loved and feared and reviled around the world and he doesn't know where to go from here, but... the fact that he's alive to even be able to think about a future after the war was an incredible boon as it was.

Now that he is where he is, he can afford to think about more than just surviving from one day to another, and apart from working on rebuilding Latveria, he's also got some personal projects going on.

Such as finding out who came through at the eleventh hour, because now that he has the time and space to look a gift unicorn in the mouth he's realizing just how many laws must have been broken for those first few shipments to have gotten there.

The paper trail is a dead end, but once Victor starts poking around it should be so, very easy for him to get answers.

After all, Victor was a warlord-now-technically-dictator with access to black-ops personnel and honest-to-goodness death squads, getting intel on what he wanted should not be this hard. Sure, Hammer Industries had good information security, but... apparently, Hammer Senior wasn't the type to get involved in this sort of mess, which meant Victor had no idea who was responsible and he wanted answers—

In the end, one picture is all it takes.

Actually— when he'd first seen the picture, Victor had been in the middle of a meeting with some of his most trusted advisors and generals.

...suffice it is to say, nothing productive got achieved after he recognized the face of the heir of Hammer Industries, once he realized he'd never actually gotten his childhood friend's full name.

The less said about his reaction to the picture, the better, too: Victor's advisors had seen him at his best and at his worst, why they'd freaked out so much was anyone's guess.

So what if he'd kept it, after the meeting was over? Those looks were uncalled for!

Victor owes Justin more than he can name— so when there's a ghost of a chance to reconnect, he takes it.

Regrets were had.

Everyone at the UN summit looked at him, and he gritted his teeth as he faced off against seasoned politicians twice and thrice his age and he knew what they were expecting, knew they called him a dictator where his country called him a hero and neither of them wanted him here but Latveria had to re-enter the international sphere somehow so they were stuck with him.

Until Zemo got his act together and finished that international relations course, at least. Oh, and got out of the habit of shooting his problems, that too.

Victor had managed to get them diplomatic immunity, but that'd be a hard sell.

...it's funny. Latveria's civil war was over, but... he found himself at odds as to where to go from here.

It's funny, how the more things change, the more they really, really don't.

Victor had been a quiet and antisocial bastard back in boarding school, surviving a civil war hadn't exactly done much for his temperament either.

Or his social skills, for that matter.

And just like always, Justin's mere presence was weaponized sunshine.

...Victor never stood a chance.
