GO MIRACULOUS TURBO!!!: by Hero Central: 7/1/2023:

Happy new year folks and here’s a crossover idea that’s been in my head for a long time Max Steel and Miraculous Ladybug. The idea originated some years ago after seeing season 2 of Ladybug and the Kwamis somehow reminded me of Steel, minus the turbo energy and untreatable ultralink that is.

Who knows I may see a possible crossover story in the future 👍👍

I am a firm believer of the fact that that all the teen superheros had a crush on Nightwing at one point and he is just completely oblivious to this fact.

Dick: Hi guys, Batman let me to give you guys a training session, because Robin mentioned you all wanted to learn how to do a backflip!

All the teens staring at Dick's abs and thighs with red faces: Oh, cool..!

Tim: OH MY GOD YOU'RE ALL DISGUSTING!

Dick: Robin! Don't insult your friends, they didn't even do anything!

Barbara Gordon's Coding & Computer Cram School is a popular YouTube series. Tucker Foley is a star student.

Barbara Gordon's Cram School posts free online courses for both coding and computer engineering. Think Crash Course in terms of entertainment, but college lecture in terms of depth. Hundreds of thousands of viewers flock to it— students who missed a class, people looking to add new skills to a resume, even simple hobbyists. It’s a project Barbara’s proud of.

Sometimes, when she wants to relax, she’ll even hop in the comments and spend an afternoon troubleshooting a viewer’s project with them.

User “Fryer-Tuck” has especially interesting ones. Barbara finds herself seeking out his comments, checking in on whatever this crazy kid is making next. An app for collecting GPS pings and assembling them on a map in real-time, an algorithm that connects geographic points to predict something’s movement taking a hundred other variables into account, simplified versions of incredibly complex homemade programs so they can run on incredibly limited CPU’s.

(Barbara wants to buy the kid a PC. It seems he’s got natural talent, but he keeps making reference to a PDA. Talk about 90’s! This guy’s hardware probably predates his birth.)

She chats with him more and more, switching to less public PM threads, and eventually, he opens up. His latest project, though, is not something Barbara has personal experience with.

FT: so if you found, hypothetically, a mysterious glowing substance that affects tech in weird and wacky ways that could totally have potential but might be vaguely sentient/otherworldly…. what would you do and how would you experiment with it. safely, of course. and hypothetically

BG: I’d make sure all my tests were in disposable devices and quarantined programs to keep it from infecting my important stuff. Dare I ask… how weird and wacky is it?

FT: uhhh. theoretically, a person composed of this substance once used it to enter a video game. like physical body, into the computer, onto the screen? moving around and talking and fighting enemies within the game?

FT: its been experimented with before, but not on any tech with a brain. just basic shields and blasters and stuff, its an energy source. also was put in a car once

FT: i wanna see how it affects software, yk? bc i already know it can. mess around and see how far i can push it

BG: […]

FT: … barbara?

BG: Sorry, thinking. Would you mind sharing more details? You said “blasters?”

Honestly. Kid genius with access to some truly wacky materials and even wackier weapons, she needs to start a file on him before he full sends to either hero or villain.

[OR: Tucker is a self-taught hacker, but if he were to credit a teacher, he'd name Barbara Gordon's Coding & Computer Cram School! He's even caught the attention of Dr. Gordon herself. She's full of sage advice, and with how she preaches the value of a good VPN, he's sure she's not pro-government. Maybe she'll help him as he studies the many applications of ecto-tech!]

I am chewing on your art like a powered up Pac-man. You've made me very interested in trying out a Kamen rider show. What's a good starting point?

:D! thank you! I will never NOT be happy to get people to watch more Kamen Rider, soon everyone will be converted and my evil plan will be complete. >:)

one of the nice things about Kamen Rider is that most of the shows are standalone and (aside from things like crossover movies) don't require watching any of the others to understand. so you can kinda just pick one that sounds interesting and try it out! I have a few personal recs in this post, or you can check out the wikipedia list (under Main Series)!

after some thought, I'm also gonna like...soft-rec Fourze and Gaim, with the caveat that they are not at all the typical Rider tone (Fourze has a much more cheerful and sillier style than usual, and Gaim is a rollercoaster ride through a bizarro fruit-themed weirdoland) (this is not a negative). they're pretty divisive because of that, but I know they've been a few other people's entry points, and I liked them both personally, so! Fourze's head writer also wrote Gurren Lagann, and Gaim's wrote Madoka Magica, and their respective styles are extremely evident in both, so if you're familiar with those then take that as a plus or minus as you will. :')

#kamen rider #children's shows are serious business #AND SPEAKING OF PACMAN: there was a crossover movie where two of them teamed up to fight a giant evil pacman and it was great #(the main antagonist was a pacman-themed villain who was also an evil doctor) (his name was dr. pacman)#just gotta bring that up every chance i get because c'mon #seriously though i know rider and tokusatsu in general is not everyone's cup of tea. but i do really appreciate people giving it a chance!#it's a lot of guys in superhero suits having emotions while swinging foam swords at rubber monsters #accompanied by some of the worst cgi you've ever seen in your life #and i love every second of it

“Hey,” Villain said as Superhero stumbled sleepily into the kitchen. Supervillain’s attack had left them both stranded in this small town last night, but from the way the hero froze in their steps, they’d either forgotten or expected Villain to disappear in the night. As if Villain was putting down money to share this Airbnb just to be petty and ditch. That was Superhero’s style, not theirs. “I bought you a coffee.”

They pushed the steaming cup across the table.

“I don’t want it.”

“Alright, but the coffee maker here doesn’t work, and I know you don’t actually want to walk the mile to the coffee shop in your condition.”

They waved haphazardly at Superhero’s bloodied and torn super suit. They must have been too exhausted to change out of it last night.

“That bruise on your face can be a conversation starter.”

Superhero glowered. “Fine. I’ll skip coffee.”

Villain rolled their eyes. “Stop being a brat.”

“A brat?” Superhero fumed. “I’m older than you!”

“Really? I could have sworn you were five. Now shut up, brush the evil cooties off the coffee cup, and start helping me figure out how we’re going to get out of here.”

oh i am so excited holy shit. am i the only one getting slade vibes from her?? because im getting massive slade/rose wilson vibes from the single eye cover and im wondering if artemis is a plant, someone unconnected from slade who wouldn't be considered a threat, to go undercover and get close to the titans. this is also like, high-key a chance to make jade and artemis sisters and/or half-sisters in canon which would be neat. i know comics fans aren't huge on changes to the canon based on outside things but making them half sisters doesn't really change jades backstory, nor artemis'.

An Alliance

Hero shifted on their feet, waiting wasn't their strong suit, but waiting for their enemy to walk through the door was even more nerveracking.

Finally, thirty minutes after the agreed time, the shed door creaked open.

"Good God, Villain! Could you have taken any long-" Hero started, but cut themself off as they saw the person in the door.

It was the person they'd been waiting for, no doubt, but their appearance threw Hero off. Their clothes were torn, and they were leaning over, holding their bloodied side.

"I'm so sorry, Hero." They sneered, their eyes narrowing.

Hero stumbled over their words, but eventually managed to get a sentence out.

"What happened to you?"

Instead of replying, Villain tried to move forward, making it less than a few steps before they tumbled. Hero caught them a moment before they hit the ground.

"Get your fucking hands off me."

Hero didn't listen, lifting Villain up and wrapping their arms around Villain's waist.

Hero led them to the back of the shed and helped them into a sitting position on the edge of a table.

Digging through their bag, Hero pulled out a role of bandages. "Here we go. Now, can you tell me what happened?"

Swallowing blood, Villain grumbled. They didn't want to tell them, and they wanted even less to let Hero patch them up, but it didn't seem they had a choice anymore.

"I got attacked."

Hero froze, their hands inches from Villain's skin. "By who?"

"Doesn't matter. What did you want to meet up about, anyway?"

Hero stood up, slamming their hands down on either side of Villain. Their stare was filled with a kind of anger Villain had never seen before, even when they fought.

"Villain," they said quietly but fiercely, "who did this to you?"

They gulped. It took an embarrassing amount of effort to tear their gaze from Hero's lips, but they did, meeting their eyes with their own glare.

"It. Doesn't. Matter."

Villain saw Hero's mouth twitch, and turned away, trying to ignore the heat in their face.

But Hero wasn't having it. They placed two fingers under the criminal's mouth and lightly nudged it back towards them. Their faces were inches apart, and Villain could feel Hero's hot breath against their face.

Then, they repeated their words, this time gentler.

"Who did this to you?"

Villain looked into their dark eyes, filled with less hatred and more, worry?

That couldn't have been right. Why would the crime-fighting, noble asshat care about an enemy?

"No one." Villain whispered, still unable to look away. "Can you just, drop it for now?"

Hero sighed and dropped their hand, turning back to the first-aid kit next to them.

"For now. But don't think you're getting away with this, Villain."

Can I ask you something, [Villain]?

– Um.. Sure, what is it?

How did you end up working for [Supervillain]? You must've known that they were evil, haven't you? So what in the world brought you there?

– ...

Jesus, who cares about that, [Sidekick]? They've done more than enough to show us that we can trust them. Hey, [Villain], you don't have to share things you don't wanna talk about, okay?

– I..- Um, thank you, [Hero]...

"You know, [Sidekick] was right", [Villain] said, their eyes fixated on the ground. They had sat down next to [Hero] a few minutes ago, feeling the cool summer breeze that grazed their own skin and the one of their new teammate. "I've known all along."

[Hero] looked at their former foe in confusion. "What do you mean?", they asked, turning towards them.

"I knew who [Supervillain] was", [Villain] said with a hollow voice, "...What they did."

[Hero] frowned. "[Villain] you don't have to talk about this, if you don't want to. [Sidekick] shouldn't have said that an-"

"But they were right", [Villain] interrupted, "I must've known who they were and I did. I knew who they were. I knew everything and I joined them regardless."

[Villain] pulled their knees closer, resting their chin on them. Their expression became distant as they started talking: "You know, before I joined [Supervillain], my life was a mess. I grew up in a world that didn't have any mercy for weaklings or outsiders like me. I was hurt, angry and alone and I wanted nothing more than to be with someone who actually liked me. I wanted to belong somewhere... I wanted that feeling you and your friends experienced every day and seemingly took as a given."

[Hero] suppressed the urge to say something. They had not at all expected this kind of talk from their former enemy – especially not with them. Still, they nodded seriously to encourage [Villain] to keep talking. It seemed to work:

"I... I didn't even know that I was searching for something. I didn't know how desperately I wanted to feel needed... Useful, you know?", [Villain] let out a trembling sigh. They closed their eyes before they continued: "I didn't know that, but [Supervillain] did. It was easy for them to bait me with the interest they showed in me and my abilities. I knew that what they did was wrong, but I-.. I just thought if I worked hard enough for them, then at least someone would see something in me... That I could-", [Villain] pressed their eyes together as tears started to spill,

"Oh, Villain...", [Hero] murmured softly. They reached out to gently touch the other one's shoulder, but [Villain] pulled away.

"Don't." [Villain] whispered and wiped their tears away. They took a deep breath. Their face had hardened into a blank mask when they continued:

"[Hero], I don't deserve the place you offer me. I don't deserve to be in your and the team's presence. I don't deserve the kindness you gave me since I came here. I'm not worth-"

"[Villain], stop." [Hero] had put a warm hand on [Villains] wet cheek. The softness of the gesture startled [Heros] new partner who looked at them with wide eyes. [Hero] managed a small smile before pulling [Villain] into a warm embrace.

"Don't say things like that. You're here, because you did what was right. You came to us and helped us out, because you knew what [Supervillain] does is wrong. Because you couldn't bear it. That says a lot about you as a person.", [Hero] gave [Villain] a small squeeze before letting go. They put their hands on [Villains] face again and smiled as they locked eyes with their former enemy.

"You did some bad things and you need to take on responsibility for that, but you won't have to do that alone. You are with us now and we will support you, okay?"

[Villain] shook their head in confusion. "H-How can you take me in... Just like that?", they whispered while new tears stained their face and [Heros] fingers, "How could anyone possibly want me after I what I've done?"

To that, [Hero] knew the answer.

"I can, because I like you. Because we like you, [Villain]. Because you're worth staying and because you have good inside of you... Because you chose the light, even though your life was set up for darkness." [Hero] said warmly. They smiled at [Villains] unbelieving expression, before embracing them once again.

"...One day, you will see that, too."

If there’s ever actually a good Live Action Teen Titans show about the OG team, I NEED a New Girl-like scene where Garth finds out he’s colorblind. Like you know how there’s that whole scene of Winston thinking money is brown and stuff and Schmidt being like ‘if that’s brown what color do you think you are’? Yeah I need it in teen titans format.
