sokka’s friends all have a rule that when their kids start acting too silly in public, they’ll put them on sokka’s shoulders and sokka will proceed to go into a lecture on a really obscure, dense, and boring topic that lulls them into complaisance. the threat alone can often get them to behave, but if not, they’re hoisted onto sokka’s shoulders, at which point they must contend with the double edged sword of getting to be really tall and bounce around, while also having to endure a lecture on military history, or the importance of some ancient poem. the only problem in this otherwise perfect system is izumi, who loves all of sokka’s lectures, even the really in-depth ones about the history of irrigation systems. since she’s normally very well behaved, the threat of “shoulder time” only incentivizes her to act out, so sokka has to threaten her with no shoulder time instead. but for everyone else this system works like a charm. no one knows that the first kid to give sokka this idea was toph, specifically because she used to demand to ride around on sokka’s shoulders constantly, but since this was killer on sokka’s back, he needed to devise a way to extract her without being actively rude. and thus a tradition was born.

Just thinking about Lawyer Hotch and Cop reader who went to law school together and absolutely hated each other for no reason and had the worst sexual tension. Like every elevator ride was them trying their best to not jump on the other. even being close was enough to set off the fire alarms. And as they grew older they still saw each other and worked with one another on occasion but man did they still absolutely hate each other. Serious Hotch with playful reader who always threatened him when they could.

And then just one day there’s this case and reader gets hurt and it crushes Hotch- i mean absolutely breaks his heart. They grow closer although neither of them would admit it. So..so close. And then there’s just one night Hotch shows up at reader’s house unannounced and just kisses them with no warnings. But it throws resder off that they just push him away- and as Hotch starts to apologize reader’s just looking at him stupid while they start to take off their clothes and ultimately shoved him on the couch.

“Hey, do you think this cape works with my hero costume?” Izuku spoke, but the words fell upon deaf ears.

Toshinori was just staring. Remembering. He didn’t want to remember. Not her, of all people. 

Nana was looking out on a rooftop with All Might. That was his new hero name. Nana had approved. The two one for all holders watched as the sun sunk below the horizon, dinner in both of their hands and the wind blowing Nana’s cape into her face. They both laughed, and nana opened her mouth to say something-

“Toshinori?” All might was thrust back into the present, a slight frown on his face as izuku looked at him, concerned.

“Are you okay?”

“The cape looks great, my boy.”

Aizawa watched Shinsou play video games with Eri. She had discovered a calm one that he couldn’t remember the name of. Stardrop forest? Whatever. Azawa happily bought her the game once he saw how much she wanted it.

Denki burst through the door, the air suddenly crackling with static. He held snacks in both hands, and wore a grin that was painfully familliar, even if aizawa couldn’t quite figure out why.

The blonde joined Shinsou and Eri on the couch, and Eri immediately grabbed a pack of oreos from Denki’s hand. It wasn’t long before he and Shinsou began bickering about something, and Aizawa finally figured out why they were so familliar.

“Sonic is not better than Zelda, Mic!” Shirakumo was in a shouting match with Yamada. Over what, Aizawa didn’t know or care. 

“Shota, back me up here!” Aizawa ignored the two.

“Azawa!”

“Aizawa!” Eraserhead swallowed his coffee too fast, and he coughed. He turned his head in the direction he thought he heard his name being called and frowned.

“So which of us is right?” All three of them looked at Aizawa expectantly.

“I..” they all leaned in closer.

“Don’t care.” Various groans of disappointment were heard, and he thought that denki said ‘aw come on’. He just smiled and took another sip of his coffee.

Waking up in someone else’s bed had NOT stopped Andromeda from sleeping in. Shockingly, she wasn’t the kind of girl to leave before the beautiful sun rose. The energy from last night’s shenanigan's caused her to savour the moment. The other’s mattress was firm, the pillows were plump and the best of all? Arms had been draped around her, providing her with warmth and comfort. Feeling refreshed was the best way to start her day-- all she craved now was an iced matcha latte, and potentially a kiss. Lazily, she plopped her arm across the bedside and it felt cold, signifying the other body was no longer around. Part of her hoped that her loud snoring hadn’t awoken the other enough to leave the bed, though, understandably as the clock began to itch closer to noon--- maybe there was a different reason to leave her undisturbed. A sigh escaped her lips as she sat up and rubbed her eyes.

Hearing rustling caused her to stop and chuckle. “If you wanted to watch me sleep, I would’ve preferred you NOT hovering over me as if you were planning on scaring, or worse, going kill me. This isn’t a horror movie and white sheets are TOTALLY the wrong move.” Andi gestured to her surroundings. She didn’t care how long she slept for, but her next words were full of assumptions, true to her character. “You got any plans today? Because I was thinking that we should go and get random and stupid looking tattoos? I’ll even pay for it, if that’s your deciding factor. Then hit up the local froyo place for half-off cups, or maybe go to Costco and fill up on their cheap, kosher hot dogs? Maybe even sneak into a movie? None of it has to be in this order, but doesn’t it sound fun?” 

Please, please don’t leave her disappointed... !!
