Once again we gather to celebrate polyamory in all its forms: OT3s, OT4s, OT8s, V-relationships, QPRs, sedoretus, and any configuration you can think of. In the spirit of this month, we invite you to create works in any medium using the prompts above if you need a little inspiration. You can also create freely or even use one of our prompts from past years we’d still love to see fanworks for if they inspire you better. If you use a prompt, please make sure to let us know which prompt you’re creating for somewhere on your post.

At us @polyamships and use the tags #MultiamoryMarch and #MultiamoryMarch2024 in the first five tags so we can hopefully see it. If you don’t see us reblog your post within a few days feel free to send us an ask to let us know, or submit it via our googleform here, in case we’ve missed your post or the tags/notifications are being weird.

All ratings are welcome but anything nsfw/triggery should be warned for and behind a read more, as should very long tumblr fic.

I was feeling a bit Romantic and a bit angsty. This will be implied Danny/Damian/Jon. But mostly focuses on Jon and Danny aspect.

Feeding into the Kryponite is ectoplasm AU. Danny is essentially a walking piece of Kryponite, not as bad as the solid Kryponite but enough to weaken Kryponite and hurt them if in contact.

But Danny is so nice and it's not his fault he's walking poison to Jon.

In fact, Danny doesn't even know. He only knows that Jon sometimes avoids touching him or outright avoids him (especially on patrol), and he always makes sure their shorter boyfriend is in between them.

Does Jon not actually love him? Was he only putting up with him for Damian? What did he do wrong?

Jon is literally making himself sick and won't tell Danny cause he's afraid he'll break up with him or something due to his misguided hero complex.

Damian thinks both of his boyfriends are morons.

Henchman x Scientist x Villain in small snippets

“I would lay down my life for you, my lord.”

“I’d prefer if you didn’t, [Henchman].” Villain glanced up from their papers. “You signed off on any life debts when you took this job. It’d be a poor investment.”

“While I appreciate your dedication and obvious drive toward the task at hand, there is no reason to continue with such…vigor.” Villain stood at the entrance to Scientist’s office. Their desk was rife with paper, coffee cups and tangled wires—a fire risk that’d he’d address at a later date—and Scientist worked overtop the mess, hands never stopping as they turned to acknowledge Villain.

“Yes, yes, it’s quite late isn’t it? I’ll be closing shop soon, I promise, but while you’re here, do you mind testing this out?” Scientist grabbed a device from a drawer and presented it to Villain.

Villain eyed the curve of metal, gleaming darkly in Scientists palm. “On the condition that you go home and get some rest.”

“You drive a hard bargain, boss.” Scientist laughed, skin crinkling at the edges of their tired eyes. “Now, come here.”

“Surely, this is unnecessary,” Villain argued as Scientist combed back his hair. They’d added gel and the brush tugged at his scalp.

“Supervillain is strict on presentation.” Henchman muttered, holding up a tie against Villain’s chest, assessing the color. He brought up another and squinted.

“The red one will do just fine, darling.” Scientist paused, leaning over Villain’s shoulder to assess the options. Villain blinked as Scientist kept their hand on his temple and reached with their other hand to feel the fabric of the tie, running their thumb over the textured pattern. “He always looks rather dashing in red, wouldn’t you agree?”

Henchman raised a brow at Scientist as Villain straightened in his seat.

“Yes, it’s a quite shame we don’t see that red suit of yours anymore, [Villain].”

“It’s an impractical color for subterfuge.” Villain breathed a sigh of relief as Scientist shifted back and resumed focus on his hair. “And the heroes have favored the color as of late. I would like to prevent any misconceptions.”

“You two are supposed to be on holiday.”

“We are.” Henchman raised two steaming tins and a wrapped plate. “Just came in to visit.”

They were both red in their cheeks and noses, and wrapped in thick coats. Scientist worked their scarf off their neck and slung it over Villain’s armor stand.

“I gave you time off,” Villain insisted as Henchman set the food on Villain’s counter, “time to visit your friends and family. You don’t have—you’re not obligated to spend your vacation here.”

Scientist sighed and worked their gloves off. Humming a tune, Henchman drifted past Scientist and patted Villain on the shoulder; his hand still carried the warmth of the trays. “Come on, let’s eat before the food gets cold.”

Once they’d both taken off their winter gear, they settled down at the cramped table in Villain’s kitchen and talked about Scientist’s most recent invention. Villain chewed on something spicy and gum-achingly sweet as Henchman tried to decode Scientist’s mathematical ramblings into words Villain could comprehend.

“[Villain], dear, would you pass me that book?” Scientist called.

Villain almost bumped into the shelf as he turned toward Henchman. “That must’ve been meant for you.”

“I don’t have a book.” Henchman smiled, waving his empty hands.

Villain stared as Henchman for a beat, then gazed at the book in his hand, then looked at Henchman once more before swiveling around and passing the book into Scientist’s waiting grasp. Scientist smiled at him in thanks and returned to frantically penning down their latest theorem.

Rubbing the back of his neck, Villain turned back to Henchman. “They must be really focused.”

“Certainly, dear.” Henchman assured.

Reader gets trapped and needs to be saved before they freeze to death.

February 14th 2024 is our 36th Polyam Shipping Day.

The optional theme for it is: 🌦️ Weather 🌨️

This could be weather literally, such as: characters enjoying the sun, dealing with rainy days and having to cancel plans, gleeful dancing in the rain, being snowed in, snowballs fights, or more dangerous forms of weather like blizzards, hurricanes, tornados! What kind of weather do they prefer, and what do they like to wear or do to prepare for different types of weather? For whump, characters getting sopping wet, hypothermic, having sunburn or sunstroke, and so on. Do they weather something, either physically like skin weathered by being outside, or mentally with getting through a difficult time? Something else, like a monument, location or item, they frequent or care about could be worn by exposure outside. Perhaps a ship they are on weathering a storm or taking advantage of the weather to get ahead. AUs with a weather related career like meteorologist, or they could have abilities to predict/control the weather. There's also many phrases with it in, such as fair-weather friend, under the weather, or to make heavy weather of something.

Person A and B fell in love in the same city growing up. But when college/university came around, Person B had to move away and they lost contact. After some time, Person A falls in love again with Person C, a new person in town. They start dating and talk about their past lovers/crushes and they just so happen to connect the dots and figure out they both fell in love with Person B. Knowing that, they both start to look for Person B together to reunite.

In an alternate world, imagine Person A and B are vampire rivals who were secretly pining for each other. Enter Person C, a normal human who just so happens to have the preferred blood type of both A and B. In their quest to win Person C over for harvesting they both end up falling in love with C. Now, all three of them are left confused and flustered all the time.

Person B and C are already in a stable, normal and loving relationship for a long time. They live in a nice home and pursue good jobs. However, when a new neighbour, Person A, moves in they find that they have a lot in common with them. Both partners fall in love until out of guilt, Person B and C admit to each other they both have feelings for A. Shocked that they feel the same way, they decide to try and invite Person A into their relationship with dinners, movies, carnivals etc… each time, these meet ups slowly start feeling more like dates. But to Person A they couldn’t be anymore dense.

Person A and C are the type of people who don’t like violence. Person B on the other hand, doesn’t mind. A and C work together to show B aggression is not the answer to everything and C convinces them how to defend themselves better. In the process, they all learn they’re definitely not monogamous.

Person C is a huge flirt, they love to tease everyone with their comments but especially Person A and B who never seem to show interest or always shut them down. A little dissuaded, they decide to stop but it turns out B and C actually really enjoy it and begin to flirt back.

Person A is a rational person who plans out their life and expects to be married and settled by a certain time at a certain age. To increase their chances of meeting that goal, they start advancing on two different people and comparing their results. They decide that both were suitable but now all they needed was to get them to meet up and fall in with each other through a series of ridiculous plots.

Person A and B are really good at almost everything. Person C is more into obscure interests. While C admires A and B for being so talented they think of themselves as lesser than both of them while A and B agree that C is superior. Their admiration for each other quickly turns affectionate.

Person C and B are introverted, Person A is an extrovert. Through so much common interests C and B fall in love and because they can always rely on Person A to do the talking, A begins to feel appreciated too.

Person A and C work as baristas during separate shifts (morning/afternoon) both of them meet Person B and always personally serve them with cute messages on their cup each time. The staff think Person B is a player and notify A and C, but this only motivates them after finding out they both like B and agree to make them their next S/O.

Person A likes B but not C. Person B and C like each other and A. It seems like A can’t come around to seeing C other than a friend. But after B takes a long trip away from home, C starts pining after A again who rejects all their advancements. But as soon as Person C gives up, Person A can’t stop missing them.

After Person B and A break up due to external reasons they still have deep feelings for each other. Determined not to betray A, B forbids themselves from falling in love with anyone other than A. But it becomes apparent that Person C is an exception and so they give it a shot and begin flirting back. Person A reunites with B and they resume their old inside jokes and fall in love again. Person C starts to feel awkward and distance themselves but is surprised to learn that Person B has shared all their experiences with A and they’re also crushing on C too.

Person B and C are rich upstarts who caught the attention of media fast for being the ultimate power couple. Person A knows Person B and C personally but as a normal citizen, they don’t care much for the wider public. Until one day Person A accidentally finds themself a part of a scandal after a picture is leaked on the internet. People start claiming Person A is a secret partner that cheats on both B and C so now they risk losing their job/friends etc. Person B and C decide to step in and lie that they are actually in a polygamous marriage with A. Now, all A needs to do is play the part and hopefully not actually fall in love.

Person A, B and C find it hard to meet rent on their own, especially when living with previous bad roommates. They decide to share the same living space for convenience but end up liking the way they all work in unison more smoothly than they thought. Perhaps they can do this long term?…

Person C can tell that A and B are really bad flirts who are oblivious to their love and helps set them up. When they do eventually confess their feelings, it’s now Person C’s turn to be set up for love.

Person B and C are very physical and love to show their affection with touch. Person A much rather prefers the use of words and spending intimate time alone with them doing what they like.

Person 1 & 2 already preparing dinner for everyone while 3 & 4 still have to work

Person 1 harshly shushing 3, who's been laughing at a movie a little too loud, while 2 peacefully sleeps lying across both of them

Person 1, 2, and 3 are cuddling on the couch when Person 4 gets home from work, after a long day they espically like being in the middle of all of their partners

Person 2 and 3 are sick and 1 is left to take care of both, trying desperately to not get sick themselves

Person 3 not having a good relationship with their family, but being embraced by 1 & 2’s families like they’re one of their own

Person 1 being multilingual & having a habit of swapping languages often around their partners, leaving 2 & 3 trying to remember/pick up the phrases 1 uses most

Person 1 resting their head on 2’s lap, while resting their legs on 3’s lap

Person 1 was in a car accident and it's not a major injury, but they have to go to the hospital and 2 is trying to keep it a secret from 3, because they would definitely freak out

Person 1 and 2 playing with 3’s hair while 3 is in between the middle of them

Person 1 is setting up a surprise date for 2 & 3 by interrogating them separately about what they'd like to do with the other

Sitting around the kitchen table when everyone is getting home, Person 1 is making tea/coffee & everyone talks about their day

Person 3 isn’t feeling well, so 1 cuddles with them in bed while 2 prepares something for them to eat

Person 2 and 3 dancing in the kitchen with music playing at the same time that 1 is trying to cook, they try dragging 1 away from what they’re doing and take turns dancing with them
