well, I can't say I expected the new chapter to feature Idia (metaphorically) going to (metaphorical) hell, getting a pep talk from his (metaphorical) Phantom brother which helps him finally move on once and for all from his brother's death, and (metaphorically) overblotting again to fight his way back out of (metaphorical) hell, only to have his darkest fear (non-metaphorically) come true when his mom goes through his computer and finds all his secret files. but I am glad it did!

also this is all a flashback for the purpose of explaining to our group what the heck is going on (whether or not any of it is getting through is another matter)

After sending those damn kids and cat away to get some sort of magical stone in some godforsaken mine, you wrangled with the headmaster for at least two hours to prevent him from writing up the expulsion papers of Yuu and that Blue-haired kid who was mostly innocent about the ordeal.

(Meanwhile, encouraging him to kick that Ace kid and the damn cat off the school. You ain't about to let audacity run free rn, mostly because you feel yourself start genuinely tweaking as you almost got possessed by the urge to sucker punch someone's soul out of their body.)

[Satan perked up, there it was again.

That distinctive spark of wrath that he can feel through your pact with him is both concerning and comforting.

On one hand, the anger he feels means that you're alive. And seeing that what he's feeling through the pact is mostly annoyance, then that must mean that nothing marginally bad or traumatizing had happened to you yet.

You're actually more pissed off in a 'someone-had-the-audacity-to-eat-my-snacks' kind of way more than anything else, meaning that you're safe for now.

But on the other hand, he doesn't know how long that temporary safety will last.

There's also the fact this is the fourth time he'd felt that spark of 'I-wanna-punt-someone-into-the-fuckin-sun' kind of anger from you, which is worrying because it hasn't even been 48 hours since you were kidnapped by some mf.

He shook his head, calling upon a subordinate (read: Devoted fan) to collect more and more books to learn what type of teleportation and sleeping magic was used in your kidnapping.

With the massive search party spanning all three realms that they'd called upon, they will find you sooner or later.

And once they do...

Well... You'll need to get used to being with someone at all hours of the day.]

*Passive-aggresively reminding Crowley that he can't kick out an innocent kid for something they didn't directly do as they had no way of stopping the events that transpired.*

["You don't want the word to get out that you let an innocent teen roam around in a foreign world with absolutely nothing to their name and nobody to protect them, right?"

Needless to say, Yuu ended up being "fired" in the end, quite an unfortunate result because they will need to freeload off of you until the end of your stay in this world. (Poor them, they got fired before they knew that they had a job in the first place.)

Oh well, it's better than being kicked out from practically their only way back home right now...

It seems that almost burning down their dorm room last night isn't enough to deter him from making his [Mr. L/n x reader] fanfiction complete with mandatory fan art for every single chapter.

But at least his brother isn't 'fanboying' about another fictional character again...

Hm... Now that he thinks about it..

Maybe his brother will be more inclined to make friends if it's Mr. L/n!

And thus begins Ortho's journey of being an unknowing wingman as he tries to get his introverted brother to make friends.

more limited cards for book 7??

Ortho has his Cerberus Gear card, Lilia has his Right General card, now Sebek is getting his Eternal Knight card… I’M SENSING A PATTERN HERE 🫣 Dropping every so often with book 7 updates… Plus, these appear to be linked to the player titles you can earn by owning 10 of a particular character’s cards. Ortho’s is Guardian of the Underworld (Cerberus is the guard dog of the Underworld and Lilia’s is Seeker of Cradles (referring to how he found Silver all those years back). The composition of Sebek’s Knight of Lightning invokes imagery of his UM (which we learned last update), and he appears to be wearing the armor of the night fae soldiers and is using a polearm (?), which makes me think he's going to participate in an important battle in the next update. A high definition version of the artwork shows that he seems to be wet from rain, as it’s all over his skin and weapon. You know what else???? We see half of his face... and the other half obscured by a mask... his hair is down (which is only ever down in the mornings when he has just woken up and is still in a more vulnerable kind of state). Is this symbolism for Sebek finally coming to terms with his mixed heritage 😭

Y’all think… Idia, Malleus, and Silver are also going to get limited time cards in relation to future book 7 updates and those player titles??? Ain’t no way they’d only do it for half of the relevant characters in book 7 and leave it unfinished… (Maybe TWST will even get to doing them for the full cast eventually?? Though I don’t know when they’d find the time to squeeze in releases for the rest of the boys 💦) fbdjvwjsnzkww I wonder what they’ll be???

Just to quickly speculate on Malleus, Silver, and/or Idia’s potential cards:

King of the Underworld (Idia) — Idia finally wakes tf up and gets off his ass to contribute to the rescue 😂 Perhaps he reconnects with his family to figure out the situation and goes full mad scientist/hacker mode?? Not sure what the outfit would be but I’m picturing he’s looking deranged and dressed mad cyberpunk-y.

Knight of Dreams (Silver) — This one, I think, is the most easily predicted. Many Silver cards mirror Sebek’s, and since Sebek’s card seems to feature him in the armor of the night fae, Silver’s may feature him in the armor of the Silver Owls. (Maybe Silver will even magically get his blonde hair back for the brief shot of the initial card art www) This may be tied with Silver fully accepting his royal lineage (ie his old family) while also embracing those he has sworn to protect now (his new family). It may or may not also be associated with Silver “waking” Lilia and/or the spell on him finally breaking thanks to Lilia’s true love. I would genuinely be shocked if this guess was wrong or not close—

Ruler of the Abyss (Malleus) — Two thoughts: either this kicks off the series of OB boy cards people have been speculating about for years OR this will kick off the start of the OB boys “fully realized” series, since the other OB boys have similar titles. However, it should be noted that these same titles are also very close to, if not the same as, the book titles (1-7), which may not be as triumphant in context given that they serve as the main antagonists for their respective books. So either we’re getting Malleus Full Crazy Mode or Malleus maturing a bit and finally learning to let his loved ones go. In both cases, I see him dressed up like the prince he is, looking regal and yet lonely.

Do you guys have any ideas??? (They don’t necessarily have to he for Idia, Silver, and/or Malleus! One of my friends suggested merform Jade and Floyd for potential Undersea Advisor and Undersea Marauder cards—) If you do, feel free to share them ^^

If I was isekaid in Twisted Wonderland

I would be the worst person that Twisted Wonderland have ever seen.

I will laugh every 5 minutes, even when it's not funny. Ace crushed by a cauldron ? Yes. Grim trying to burn/threaten me ? Yeah. Riddle saying out of nowhere that he wishes he had eaten pie/played with Trey and Chenya when they were little ? Hear my laugh. Ace punching Riddle ? Yeah, I'll laugh.

I didn't lie when I say I was a hyena. I will be Ruggie Secret Love Brother/j

100% I will try to negotiate with Crowley to be a therapist or a student, all but NOT a concierge.

"Are you sure you're not going to let me in as a student ? You know, people would probably talk about how kind and generous you are if you did this. It would go viral on the Internet and a lot of people would like to come."

Yeah, I would definetly say something like that. No way I'm a concierge when I can't clean my room.

I'm not going to survive at the Overblots, it's said. I'm bad at sports, I never manage to dodge. I die at Riddle Overblot.

And if I don't die at the Overblots, I call Social Services/Child Protection at Twisted Wonderland after Azul's Overblot. Do you see book 6 when Crowley is in court ? Yeah, that's him after I called child protection. No way I let him be a headmage after that.

I will try to join the RSA if it doesn't work. Cause I CAN'T survive at Idia's overblot with the little minigames and Malleus' overblot.

“I will give you a gift, child of man.” Nah, leave me alone, I want to live. Let me live another day.

I will also say things like "Crowley, you have a [.....] kink" when he will try to give me job to do before running away. And I will do thing like that with all character that try to make me make their jobs/make me a therapist. I will doxx them all.

Idia will probably ask me how I know all of that about them. And I will just be here like "The less you know, better it is, and more legal it's/it is. :)"

I will probably try to be a background character.

At the Masquarade event, I will be the one who goes to the tower. It will be faster because as Yuu, I won't have any magic so the flowers will just stay flowers for me.

Knowing me, when the time of go back down the tower will come, I will be so tired of having to climb everything that I will go down by jumping from the tower with an umbrella at the Mary Poppins style.

Jamil will try to keep Kalim away from me because he won't want me to corrupt him.

I WILL slap Ace after what he say to Deuce in book 5.

I'm going to avoid Vil like if he was a mortal sickness. I will NEVER allowed him to puts makeup on me, for my mental well-being.

I will try to take a shower in another dorm than Ramshakle. No way I shower without hot water.

If I can't, I will make a contract with Azul. I don't care if he want Ramshakle, just let me take shower with hot water.

If Crowley don't give me money for improve Ramshackle, I will steal or make a deal with Azul.

Azul will see me every days.

I will be friend with Idia on games. Even if I hate the games.

I will probably make illegal things.

Like, you know the guys who tell you informations for money ? Yeah. That's me.

Oh and I will probably slap Crowley or do an Overblot if I can. Cause I can't stay mentally sane with the 30 trauma I will win with the 7 books.

Ruggie 🤝 me = stealing Leona and other people.

I will touch Jack tail. It's so soft, I just know it.

And I will adopt Ortho and Grim. I call dibs.

This line is making me sad akjdkakdks its making me imagine that once Malleus sees that his overblot causes pain rather than making the people of his life happy... he'll realize that "he is no good as a king at all since he harmed his people"😭😭

"Seeing you all worry helped me calm down..." ARGHH IT MAKES ME THINK OF THE SCENE WHERE HE SAW HOW ANGUISHED SILVER WAS ABOUT LILIA'S DEPARTURE... Like... I CANT??😭😭 HE'S SO CARING ABOUT THE HAPPINESS OF OTHERS BECAUSE THATS AN EMOTION HE RARELY FELT SO HE VIEWS IT AS THE MOST PRECIOUS FEELING ??

but sadness and partings and goodbyes..."harms happiness", thats why he just created a world where it never exists... He's not just doing it for his own desires KSJAKDJWKD plus if "all dreams come true" none of the previous overblots wouldve occured and they'll live a peaceful life... but living that way would stagnate their growth... they'll be living the same life repeatedly without any improvements towards themselves

that's why even if Malleus' overblot stems from a good intention, his vision is not applicable to a human life as we all require growing up, overcoming hardships, admitting our mistakes and developing out from that... Those painful feelings are what makes a human life more meaningful and allows a person to give themselves a genuine good life. 🥲🥲🥲

But Malleus who's still in the state of "learning to be human", he cannot naturally perceive that kind of moral.

I just hope that after Book 7 there's no narrative implication that Malleus' coping was flat out purely wrong lol Bcs as Yuu said, everyone wishes they won't lose anyone important to them either...

Going back to the fact that he feels responsible for the happiness of others... I think Malleus lives his life very literally...

I think it was Lilia who said this...(?) That Malleus' power (or the Draconia's power in general) gives happiness to the people of Briar Valley (as their power can protect the dark faes) 🥲✨

Maybe this is the reason why he's "so desperate" in keeping the happiness of others and also giving them blessings that'll surely make them happy...

Okay separate theory... Maybe I'm just overthinking lol But the occurence of "falling" in TWST is so fascinating to me since thats a heavy reference to "Alice Falling In Wonderland" yk

Book 6 we already had Idia falling to the Underworld because he wants to follow Ortho, There's this implication that Overblots "falling to a deep sleep/darkness" thats why all overblotees "wakes up after their own overblot... I wonder if Overblot Malleus will take a fall as well??? His overblot title is "The King of Abyss" but I doubt that the "timeless Sage Island" is the abyss yk? What if we actually learn about the origin of Overblots through Malleus Overblot?

Because in the trailer we can see him snapping out in awareness(waking up) before he's trapped in thorns in what seems to be an Abyss--- So maybe, we won't defeat Malleus Overblot bcs he'll wake up from it (presumeably once he realizes that his overblot caused Lilia and the others pain???) but him breaking his overblot wont be possible bcs the "darkness" will engulf him of smth

I'm thinking of this because the existence of Overblot is so weird. General Lilia should've recognized the blot when it was taking Silver because of his despair since before Leona's overblot, he knew the vibes of whats occuring yk and same thing with Malleus with how he knew that he's planning to overblot, plus he knows the existence of STYX whos focused on overblot too

But strangely, the mages of the past (Meleanor and Knight of Dawn even Lilia and Baul) dont seem to possess any magic limitations concerning blot accumulation, additionally they dont even have magestones (that they use to gauge their blot consumption like NRC pens). Which makes me think that "blot or overblot" was not a "trait" that existed naturally in mages???

Since TWST world's history is implied to be changed... I wonder if blot existence was something that "a being" made up/cursed upon all mages lol

Idk where Im going with this tbhhhh ajsjaj but I just think its suspicious that only human magicians is heavily concerned with blot accumulation... whereas Malleus and Lilia never worries about using magic too much...

So wild guess, maybe Maleficia (since shes the only powerful person here lol) cursed "magic in general" so humans will never be on par with fae's magical abilities no matter how hard they develop it

Ig its to never repeat the "occurence of another Knight of Dawn" who's magic is even stronger than faes since he has no limitation so she created blot to curse humans to limit their magic else they'll fall into "darkness" idk

Ortho and ORTHO headcanon

With Book 7, episode 113 having that little nightmare scene of Idia's where the Phantom Ortho greeted him, I wanted to delve into my headcanon on what happened to the deceased Ortho after Book 6. For short hand, I'm going to use Ortho for the deceased Ortho Shroud and ORTHO for Humanoid Ortho, just to make writing simpler.

In short, my head canon is that Ortho's soul went into ORTHO, but he's not in control of ORTHO. Let me explain:

Starting off, Ortho/ORTHO appears to get his name from Orthros, the two headed dog killed by Heracles/Hercules during his labor to get the cattle of Geryon and Orthros is a brother of Cerberus. ORTHO's Cerberus Gear seems to support this theory that he's based on Cerberus and Orthros.

Since Cerberus is likely his inspiration, I'm gonna go into Cerberus a bit. I've always viewed Cerberus as three dogs with separate and distinct personalities sharing a body and emotions. In Disney's Hercules, we only see Cerberus a couple of times, but in his first scene, it gives off the idea that Cerberus's heads are separate thinkers due to the fact they fight over the steak Hades throws. If Cerberus had only one brain and the extra heads acted like limbs, it shouldn't matter which head got the steak.

That being said, Cerberus's heads do seem to share emotions and sensations, as Hercules is able to control Cerberus by grabbing one head's ears to direct the body, and when Hercules walks down that head's face, the other two heads also cowered along with it.

Now back to Ortho and ORTHO. In Book 6, episode 76, when Idia talks to the deceased Ortho, Ortho is manifesting using ORTHO's body.

Ortho tells Idia he needs to keep living, confirms at the end of his speech that he'll always be with Idia and encourages Idia to not give up and afterwards, he fades away. However, there is one distinct thing he does right before he says this: He changes from Ortho's "Nii-chan/Idy", to ORTHO's "Nii-san/Idia". This is important because later, ORTHO tells Idia that "Ortho is right here."

Going back to that speech change, I read it as the moment where Ortho decided to merge his human soul into ORTHO's memory card, so he could stay with and help encourage Idia. However, ORTHO is not Ortho, but like Orthros and Cerberus, they now share a body, but rather than having two heads with separate minds, Ortho chooses to stay dormant inside ORTHO. I believe it's because 1. he's knows that because he's dead, if he took over ORTHO's body it'd cause more harm to Idia than good and 2. he wants ORTHO to have the chance to choose to live how ORTHO wants, which was the choice Ortho and Idia were never offered. As a result, Ortho only shares his feelings with ORTHO, but not his conscious thoughts, much like how Cerberus's heads share sensations and emotions, but are still three separate heads.

ORTHO is his own self, but he can sense the deceased Ortho inside and deceased Ortho's feelings linger around. Ortho's soul being in ORTHO also explains why ORTHO can no longer be reprogrammed as he shares his human will to ORTHO, which protects ORTHO's consciousness and ability to make choices without the fear of being reprogrammed. In short, ORTHO is free to make his own decisions, but both Ortho and ORTHO are there, willing to help and guard their big brother.

Also, quick note, but looking to the fact that Idia is not only compared to Hades, but Hercules, it ties in nicely that, in a way, Idia and ORTHO did succeed in saving their brother from his tragic death, like how Hercules brought Meg back from hers in the Disney movie.

Now how does that play into Book 7?

When Idia falls into the nightmare, ORTHO declares that he will definitely come back for him before he retreats. I think this is where deceased Ortho decided to manifest for a bit. When ORTHO was able to get back to Idia's dream room, Ortho, as a soul of a deceased human, was able to delve deeper into Idia's dream to the nightmare level Idia was at, where ORTHO couldn't risk going without being lost. When he got to Idia, he chose to manifest as his Phantom body to force Idia to face the truth of reality and give him a kick in the pants. Also, he might've been a tad insulted that Idia dreamed for him to go to RSA. After all, when he was alive, he just wanted to always be with his brother, so the fact Idia's wish for him was to go to the school that's NRC's RIVAL? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that ticked Ortho off. Hence the heckling he gave Idia.

Once Idia went back to the main dream, I think Ortho retreated back into ORTHO, relieved that his elder brother was back where their younger brother could help him.

But that's just my head canon.

Leona Info Compilation part 7: Unique Magic and Power

When Leona’s unique magic is first seen Jack says, “Everything the Housewarden touched is turning to sand”, but Leona may not need to touch something to disintegrate it (as seen in Halloween and Book 6).

Leona’s “King’s Roar” is the only unique magic (thus far) that is the same in verbal command, hidden meaning and the English adaptation.

We do not see Leona attempt to use his unique magic on the Charon (wearing anti-magic armor) who kidnap him in Book 6 or the anti-magic doors inside of STYX, though he says he would “turn ‘em to sand” otherwise.

King’s Roar might be difficult to aim: he says that STYX’s researchers being in the way during the fight against an over-blotted Idia would have made his unique magic “a lot harder to use,” but since they were gone he was able to “sand most of the minions in the area” without issue. He refuses to use the spell on the cages in Tartarus as doing so would run the risk of sanding Grim, and/or the ID card that they needed in order to continue.

We have yet to really see the extent of what Leona is capable of, though Grim says “for as lazy as that guy is…he seemed insanely strong.”

Jack says that Leona’s “magical might” is “in a league of its own”, and Leona is the only person we’ve seen capable of defending against Riddle’s unique magic. (Despite being, objectively, one of the most powerful students in the school, Leona says “power alone ain’t enough to make waves in this world”, in reference to how he will never fulfill his only dream no matter how strong he is. Unaware of Leona’s inner turmoil Jack comments, “How can someone so powerful give up on everything?”)

Jack is often commenting on Leona’s magical strength saying that “Leona’s magic is way more powerful than any of ours” while he, Ruggie and Floyd battle the mine monster with Leona teasing Ruggie about getting tired out.

Idia explains that Leona likely received “top-notch magic instruction as a kid”, saying that Leona’s “casting speed’s off the charts, and his magic pool is huge. He also knows how to be efficient he tailors his defense spells to match the potency of enemy attacks. He hardly wastes any magic at all. Which means he barely accumulates any excess blot.”

Ortho follows with, “Because he typically exhibits great mental fortitude…when he does experience intense emotions it could cause a drastic spike in blot accumulation.”

Leona might be particularly adept at defensive magic, saying, “I aced my protective magic classes in my sleep”, which makes the two instances that Ruggie is able to apply his unique magic to Leona (in Book 2 and during Halloween) very interesting.

Leona can defend against Riddle, who is probably stronger than Ruggie. So it can be assumed that the times that Ruggie successfully used “Laugh with Me” on Leona were only possible because Leona consciously allowed it.

We get a rare chance to compare Leona’s strength to that of the other students directly in Book 6:

Both Vil and Riddle are unable to lift, aim and utilize their thunder spears simultaneously on their own, with Vil asking for help from Epel the player and Rook, while Riddle asks for help from Azul. Leona, however, both lifts and aim the spear alone, then even uses its magic without any help from Jamil (who we see attacking the Titan independently with his fire magic, away from the spear).

Jamil is surprised by Leona’s ability to sleep after the first titan fights, but we learn Riddle also took a nap at that same time.

Vil again gets help from Epel and Rook (and presumably the player) during the second titan fight, saying he “can’t move another step” while he and Epel fall asleep almost instantly after reaching a safe location (Rook possibly remained awake).

Riddle also gets help from Azul for their second titan fight, getting injured in the process and expressing concern over his magic, stamina and blot.

Azul falls asleep quickly afterwards, despite previously claiming that, as an octopus, he could never sleep in such a situation.

For their second titan fight Leona, again, uses the thunder spear entirely on his own without help from Jamil, collapsing to his knees from exhaustion.

Immediately afterwards he has enough energy for banter with Jamil.

Leona asks for Jamil’s help in the final fight.

They are forced to bow out due to an over-accumulation of blot, not from over-using their magic but because of the blot escaping the Underworld with Ortho.

I’m back, the VilOrtho enthusiast offering my VilOrtho agenda to you yet again 🤲🏻

So, I play EN servers but that hasn’t stopped me from watching book 7 on YT etc. plus all the art that’s going round, in particular Ortho’s Cerberus fit. Wow, they went hard didn’t they?

Obviously we haven’t got the full story yet but it doesn’t stop my mind from straying to the fact that Ortho is going to get in there and do his best to save everyone. I’m having thoughts of Vil rousing and Ortho being more than protective of his beautiful senpai. Since book 6 these two have had more than a special bond through film club.

The first thing Vil see is Ortho is this outfit, even though there’s a lot going on he just can’t help the ridiculous way he’s getting turned on especially when Ortho starts fussing him. Meanwhile Ortho’s sense of smell is heightened in that outfit, not to mention he’s experiencing heat. He can practically smell Vil without even trying.

Once things are over Ortho doesn’t swap back just yet… the idea of humiliating Vil first and knotting him until he’s nothing but ruined makeup and pleas just makes Ortho fucking wild. It’s new but even a sudden revelation of breeding the queen seems like something he wants more than anything.

Hi again, VilOrtho enthusiast! It’s good to hear from you again.

Ortho’s Cerberus gear is sick, I think it’s my favourite one out of all of his gears. They went so hard it’s insane. Even though ch7 isn’t complete yet, and we’re yet to see what he can do in this fit, its existence pretty much opened a Pandora box full of kinky scenarios and knot jokes lol It’d be a lie to say that we haven’t thought about it ourselves……

… Not with Vil though, damnnn 😳😳😳 A queen and a misbehaving pup?? With a heightened sense of smell?? That can find him anywhere because of course he can??

I approve this message and especially the idea of Cerberus!Ortho shoving his cold nose up Vil’s butt to say hi and make sure that he is the one he wants to breed.

Book 7, Chapter 6

Meleanor overblot theory (?)

From my understanding, when the group left to go catch up with Lilia and Baul. They notice the same thorns that Malleus use when he began to overblot. Thinking that she might have overblot, but will never know as they run to help Lilia and Baul. Other theorists believe that Meleanor might have overblot. If that were the case, then wouldn't we get to see a difference?

For example, the OB boy's phantoms have ink bottle heads, but with Meleanor's dragon form does not. maybe it's because the group can't see it or wasn't presented (tho we can't be separate from the person dream or else will fall to the "darkness"). Even during the battle, the difference was the smoke coming out. So perhaps she did overblot it's just that neither Lilia nor any one of the group knew if she did or not. Then again, this was way back then, so the overblot might have a different look compared to the OB gang.

What we know is Lilia and baul can't sense Meleanor's magic anymore, meaning she's gone. (NOOOOo!!!!)

The Senate

I thought they were some sort of faes, turns out there just a...idk voices? One thing I do know is that I hate them. They remind me so much like the most evil government. They trash talk of how Lilia wasn't strong enough to protect Meleanor, and worse, ungrateful. It was Lilia who managed to hatch Malleus once he knew parental love, and yet they still hate him because?!?!?!

This is might come to the future chapter, the senate are the real villians, the masterminds. Which if this is true, if Crowley turned out to be Levan is real, Malleus missing father, then that's his whole reason he is in his villain arc and still in line at a grocery store to get the milk (jk)

Revolution

If Crowley/Levan wanted to "destroy" the senate's, then he would need alleys. That would explain why his connections with some of the student's family background:

Levan wanting for faes and humans to live in harmony, but someone didn't wanted to happen so they might of separated Levan from Briar Valley, where he can't return if he wanted to or not (referancing to the lion king movie, where Simba ran away from home and couldn't return back). If Meleanor is somehow alive and part of her is still in the dark mirror, Crowley/Levan would need overblot crystals for to bring her back. If he did, why did he let Grim eat the blot crystals?

Simple, a powerful weapon that not even magic or technology could stop it.

Its similar to other's theories where Levan is Meleanor's eyes and wings. Referencing to the Maleficent movie where King Stephen locked away her wings in a cage. If this theory is somehow correct, perhaps Levan is still alive, just hidding away, waiting for the right moment to strike back.

What's next in the upcoming Book 7, chapter 7?

Silver, Sebek, Grim, and Yuu manage to wake up Lilia at last. Lilia buying some time, so the group left and meet up with telegram Ortho saying they'll meet up later as they landed in Idia's dream.

Finally, the shroud brothers doing their part as they were the recent overblot and need to defeat the current overblot, which is none other than the Malleus Draconia. So Ortho managed to break in Malleus dream barrier and it seems he also waked up Idia, too. Come to think of it, it might of been sad that Idia realized his brother is a humanoid cyborg and not a fully human.

So in the next chapter, Ortho might go to the other's dreams and tried to wake them up. With the previous theory that we all thought that Idia and Leona might team up together was because of the art where the housewardens in their coffins, the only ones who are out are Idia and Leona and Malleus as well being in the center. We might get close as Ortho might bring not only the regular students or the teachers, but the OB gang, or maybe the ones who are smarter to think this was an illusion. Which is why I think Leona might help out as well as the students who overblot too. In order for Malleus not let his overblot info be know to the world, but it will be different and will be consequences of his actions.

And lastly, when is the next chapter coming? I've been keeping on track on the dates, so maybe February or March. Perhaps more later in 2024 as I been watching Gasmask translate video saying the next chapter might come way later than the regular two/three months. A hiatus break? Who knows?

What I'm sad about is we didn't even get a glimpse of grandma Maleficia. not even a shadow figure. There probably will be a twst event where we get to go to Brair Valley. Will just have to wait and see.

TWISTED WONDERLAND BOOK 7 CHAPTER 3 SPOILERS.

a small summary with the most important parts and not a dialogue translation. once again, dont trust me a lot on the dialogue parts as this is more of a general summary of what happened. also its a live reaction for the most part so its not exactly super coherent.

·we begin the chapter on idias room, and... ortho is calling him on his phone?

·idia is extremely confused because ortho is supposed to be with him at the nrc but apparently ortho is in the rsa...? hes a student there and its the day of the opening ceremony for both schools, huh! so apparently ortho is alive now. cool cool cool.

·this has to be a dream.

·idia is just as confused as we are honestly, it takes him a while to understand whats happening but everything seems to fall into place after a while

·oh he got a message from crimson muscle ;; they talk about games and something and basically still talk about how they are both going to an event tonight but wont connect the dots www

·they play all day until night and then idia puts on his robes and holy shit hes actually going to the ceremony himself and not by tablet lmao

·idia finds malleus on his way to the mirrors chamber and... malleus has his gao gao all grown up? even when the dragon cant technically do that, its weird. the both of them nerd a lot about the game and apparently idia and malleus have a really good relationship

·yeah this is most definitely a dream because malleus actually went to the ceremony and took the diasomnia students himself instead of lilia ww

·idia comes back to the dorm after all of that and talks with ortho again. apparently rsa is pretty similar to nrc [roomates are the same, theres dormleaders...], except people are actually nice in there www

·we switch pow to yuu/grim [yuu had the sleeping beauty vision just now, aurora was almost stung by the needle]

·they are in a different room in the ramshackle dorm? but they remember the whole thing with the overblot, unlike idia

·they are trying to get out but... apparently cant and now all the furniture is alive. what.

·if this is yuus dream im going to ask myself what the fuck was yuu smoking before they fell asleep honestly

·oh grim ate... something? [grim stop eating random shit i beg of you] and became a gigant but came back to normal after a little while

·yuu says that all of this made them remember what mickey said and... mickey appears ww [a friend told me that the music when mickey appears is... kingdom hearts music? no idea i didnt play the game]

·apparently yuu and grim are on mickeys... dream? dimension? no idea

·they all talk about a little bit of everything, about how yuu is trying to go back to their world, and apparently mickey doesnt have/uses magic so he also has no idea why the room is alive rn. ok great.

·mickey says that he only goes to that world when hes asleep, and now yuu is worried about that because if this is a dream... where the fuck is their body? in diasomnia still?

·a phone rings? and mickey disappears because hes waking up :(

·a lot of blot appears and theres like... a new type of monster and this mf has 50k HP help

·grim is slowly getting out of magic and wants to protect yuu but he cant, poor kitty

·holy shit silver appeared and rescued yuu and grim with... his UM! it got revealed! the name is “Meet in a dream”

·we switch pow to... ortho! who apparently is sleeping in his body BUT hes also on the internet because his consciousness is not tied up to his body ww. we kinda predicted this one

·ortho is trying to wake idia using all the devices on his room but nothing works. he goes around the island and everything is dark, full of thorns and blot and everyone, even the animals, are asleep :(

·apparently even time has stopped??? malleus is op as fuck, even ortho is worried about that

·he tries to contact STYX of course but all communications are just cut off from the exterior... my poor son is all alone

·he says something about an... anthena???? that hes gonna use to get into STYX... internet ig??? lmao something like that. he uses that to go to STYX via the internet apparently ww

·aand we switch pov to STYX where a man with a helmet is kind of nervous, with all the personel. so they do know about the whole thing already, huh

·holy shit they are saying everyone might be dead lmao. so negative-

·oh wait another character appeared, this time a woman with a helmet saying that they musnt lose hope just yet. im betting my everything they are idias parents.

·YUP. THEY ARE. damn the mom is a catgirl ww

·its a shame their heads are covered up

·ortho arrived! [its a call, ortho is not physically on STYX] god this is so cute we get a lot of famiy talk, the mom was so worried about both shroud brothers ;;

·ortho explains everything and something something, apparently the parents said that they should wait for malleus magic to run out but then they remembered that fae get their power from the nature so malleus magic could last forever and it could even EXPAND EVEN MORE. shit.

·they want to contact Briar Valley! cool, lets see those fae folk.

·ortho says “nam fam i got this” and that his parents need to make him new gear, and the mom refuses dsfkjbnsdjfknd she says its too dangerous but ortho said he would take the cerberus with him if they dont do it. bitch if that was my mother i would be SO grounded. the mom agrees after ortho disappears but shes that she will remember this ww

·some time pases and the gear is ready so ortho comes back and the mom yells at him that he shouldnt have hang up the call because you cant hung up your mom like that WWWW.

·the mom told ortho to not tell idia about the fact that she can get into idias pc anytime she wants [because she used that to get the new ortho gear blueprint], but he tells her that idia will know the moment ortho appears in front of him with his gear WWWWWWWWWW why are they so funny help

·orthos mind gets into the gear and hes now physically in STYX on his new body... aww the shroud hug and the parents tell him that both of the shroud brothers are their children even if ortho is an android and to be careful im going to fucking cry.

·we are back to silver/yuu/grim pov and after silver helped them, they are just... fucking falling down from the sky what the fuck

·silver made an spell so they fall to the ground without dying ww

·they are in diasomnia now, and silver says that this is all a dream but that he doesnt know whos person is. apparently he has seen mickey before on his dreams, which he finds weird because his UM can only make him go to the dreams of people he knows

·smth smth about exams, not really important

·silver comments how he cant choose the dream hes going to end up in, but that he can find out because a bird (?) flies next to the host of the dream, and... soon they find sebek with a bird (?) so this is sebeks dream

·silver is taken by sebek to a party they are doing because lilia and malleus finally choose where are they going in their fourth year...? grim asks if this is the farewell party for lilia again, because of the whole “he doesnt have magic now” and sebek is super offended that grim thinks lilia doesnt have magic now WWWWW

·malleus is going to do his fourth year to the country of heroes (?) and lilia to the country of the crimson dragon, silver asks lilia if he would go back to their house once his fourth year is done and lilia says of course because thats his home ;;

·silver cant take it anymore and said that this is all a farce, a dream... and that he would like for lilia to go back to this house with him but he doubts lilia will be alive by then holy shit silver ;;;;;

·he tells sebek to remember everything and that this is not reality but no one listens to him. he keeps going on this and malleus completely loses it uh

·he screams that he knows the three of them are awake and that they shouldnt try and ruin (?) the dreams and

·sebek goes to defend malleus and challenges silver to a fight! nooooooo my son ;;

·while they fight sebek begins to remember everything and finally sees malleus overblot so he stops

·the four of them wake up and fight overblot malleus once again, but once again they lose and... silver asks the three of them to hold his hand (sebek complained about it but did it anyways), screen goes black

·apparently malleus tried to make them sleep more deeply so they wouldnt wake up this time, and its working because silver is having a hard time trying to use his magic... but the ring that lilia gave him is shining in the dark! so he follows that and

·the four of them appear in a forest... wait its the sleeping beauty forest! so this has to be briar valley!

·suddenly soldiers appear, with masks... they are 100% fae because they are talking in a language only sebek understands ww

·PAST LILIA APPEARED IT HAS TO BE HIM BECAUSE HE IS SMOL AND HAS THE RED-BLACK HAIR HELP [he has a mask so we cant see his face!]

·he told them “shut up, humans” so mean.... its confirmed that they are on lilias dream...

and the fucking chapter ends. HELP. how am i supposed to wait months for more this was so shorttttt ;;

My honest opinion of each NRC student [TWST].

Riddle: After his overblot, he turned into a really cool guy. I think that he should get some therapy and learn to say no to his mom. 6/10

Trey: Very chill; probably the only normal one of the Heartslaybul group. He's like that 'mom' friend of the friend group who gives everyone food and is generally nice. 7/10

Cater: I love you 😊 Very interesting personality, I feel like I could see him becoming a very popular influencer in the future. Very funny and his reactions to everything are priceless. Questionable taste in tags. 8/10

Ace: Honestly, not a fan. Never really liked the chaotic prankster types. 1/10

Deuce: Poor dude just trying to vibe but gets yanked into Ace's shenanigans. Overall not too bad. 3/10

Leona: Um... I don't exactly hate him but I'm not a huge fan. I get the sleeping part, though. I like sleeping too. 4/10

Ruggie: Pretty neutral. He's funny and I don't really have a problem with him. He's a bit annoying in the main story, but I can overlook that. 5/10

Jack: Very nice! He has very high morals and is very trustworthy. I feel like if I told him a super personal secret, he'd take it with him to the grave. 7/10

Azul: Neutral. I'm not the biggest fan of him, but I feel bad for him a bit because of his backstory. Also, seek therapy, Azul. 4/10

Jade: He's okay. A bit neutral but leaning toward okay. Not much of an opinion here. His obsession with mushrooms in funny. 5/10

Floyd: He'd so funny without even trying, I like him. Overall, he makes me laugh 👍 7/10

Kalim: Omg my baby, protect him 🥺 He's an absolute ball of sunshine and can do no wrong. I love this guy sm (second favorite). 10/10

Jamil: Okay, I can understand his pov, but he still betrayed Kalim, so neutral. I don't dislike him. 5/10

Vil: I'll be honest. At first, I didn't really like him, but he's chill now. He's okay in my book. 7/10

Rook: ... He creeps me out, I won't lie. I mean, there's nothing wrong with his personality ig, but the fact that he could just be watching me at any time and I wouldn't know... I'll be generous and make him neutral. 4/10

Epel: He's cool. He's that one kid who will beat your ass if you say anything about his height 😂 Also, was I the only one who didn't think he was a girl? I've been catfished by too many animes, you can't trick me anymore. 6/10

Idia: Perfect. Marry me 🥺 I love this dude. He's so funny not even trying and his personality is just 🤌 10/10

Ortho: He's so adorable and the way he was ready to blow up NRC for Idia 😭 But like, he's so cute. 10/10

Malleus: Okay, don't hate me, but slightly overrated. Don't get me wrong, I still like him, he's cool, but slightly overrated. I'm gonna get torn to shreds because of this. 5/10

Lilia: Very funny, interesting personality and just overall character type. We love found parents 🫢 7/10

Silver: Very chill, we would vibe. He's similar to Jack (high morals). Bonus point because animals like him. 7/10

Sebek: I won't lie, it kind of feels like 80% of his whole character is just following Malleus around, praising him, and shouting a lot. I'm not a fan of loud noises. Plus, his character just seems a bit boring. 3/10

Grim (Bonus): Don't like. Causes a lot of problems for you in-game and overall personality grates on me. Annoying and demanding. Yes, he's a cat(?) but the cuteness isn't worth it. But I will give a bonus point because of cat-like form. 1/10

Boo!! I'm sorry if you disagree with what I said above, but please remember that these are my opinions, and you definitely don't have to agree with them. I hope you at least found my take on the NRC students to be interesting. Bye for now~!! 🧡

The characters are the strongest aspect of the game thanks to the lackluster worldbuilding and plot. Two exceptions to that rule are Ortho and Grim. Not sure if that's a popular opinion, but that's how I feel.

Disclaimer: If you like either of these characters, great! All the more power to ya! And I don't care. You are entitled to your opinion. However, this is mine, and me explaining why I think they could've been handled better.

Ortho isn't a particularly compelling or well crafted character. He has no personality other than being cute, innocent, childlike and caring about his brother. There are moments where he gets angry or protective of Idia, but they are few and far inbetween, especially in the main story. It honestly seems like his only functions in the story are...

To be a plot device for Idia's character and give him a tragic past.

To add a cute child character that seems compulsory for most Japanese games with a large cast.

To have someone other than Idia be in Ignihyde.

That's really it. You could replace him with a pet rock, and it would make almost no difference on the main story.

It's ashamed too. The whole idea of the soul of a child being shoved into the body of a robot and having the mind of someone much older, but never being taken seriously is super tragic in his own right. That's literally Claudia from Interview with the Vampire! He could've been like a jaded Alphonse, wanting to do anything to get his body back. Oh, no. Instead the story dashes all of that to make him some kawaii uou child character that has no impact on anything. What a waste.

As for Grim, he's genuinely one of the most baffling and poorly constructed characters I've seen since Prince Lotor in Voltron. If you know how big of a beef I have with that show, then you know that says A LOT.

He has hardly any clue about his past, but has no inkling to really search for it. That's bad writing. Major characters should always have goals in mind. In the case of characters with amnesia it's to remember the past and their arc centres around that. In Anastasia, she was bonked on the head as she was fleeing Russia. The whole movie is about her reconnecting with her past and reuniting with her grandmother in Paris. With Grim, he wants to avoid it, because...I have no idea. That makes no sense. Wouldn't he WANT to seek out the answers to figure out more about himself? Plus, by having him stay static and never wanting to learn anything about himself, it makes him completely directionless and useless. All major characters should have goals, and that should be his.

Almost every single aspect of his character contradicts itself. He has absolutely no idea how to act around people. But that begs the question. If he knows how to talk and write, then why in the fuck is so clueless about that? Even if he has amnesia, he should have basic memories about how to behave if he was raised around people? That should be more instinct. If he was raised around people, then why is he so clueless about the world that he lives in? Shouldn't he know shit since it's common knowledge? None of this makes any fucking sense!

The thing that annoys me the most about how he's handled in the canon is that we're on Book 7 at the time of me typing this and we still have no fucking clue what the deal is with his past. There are no hints to what it could be. The only kind clue is that flash forward of the characters fighting Monster Grim at the start, but even that is nothing much to go on. He could be the King of the Ewoks, and it would make about as much sense as anything the game could throw at us at this point!

Again, that's bad writing. Something like this should be set up and hinted at well in advance. Otherwise it's gonna seem completely random. At the rate it's going in the game, it seems like it's gonna be random and stupid.

Grim done right is King from The Owl House. In that show, he can be mischievous, childish and kinda bratty, but in those cases it makes sense due to him acting like a little kid and other story reasons. He also had a general grasp of how to behave in public thanks to being raised by Eda. He's capable and has helped out Luz and the others on plenty of occasions, instead of being a hinderance all the damn time. He has hobbies and interests outside of the main characters. His past is a mystery, too, but he seeks out the answers. It's set up well in advance and unfolds at a good pace. The game could've did something like that, but it never did. The fact that The Owl House is a Disney property too and Yana never took any fucking hints from it is baffling.

If you ever wondered why these two are so different in my own writing, there's your answer. I changed their personalities and made them OOC on purpose to improve upon the source material by giving them actual personalities. While I normally try to make characters stay as close as to the source material as possible, these two are so badly written that I had to make an exception. That should say A LOT.

He’s basically the same as Rollo (a character you do like I think) and in more ways than one. They’re both gloomy looking guys and traumatized big bros that are self righteous and pathetic. What kept you from liking Idia before if you don’t mind me asking?

Okay, confession time: when I was a little kid (I’m talking like 7-10 years old), I was SUPER into Greek mythology and more specifically the story of Hades and Persephone. I ate up ALL the Hades and Persephone retellings/reinterpretations I could find and actively hunted for more 💀 so you’d think I’d like Idia, who is twisted from Hades, given how I gravitated to Octavinelle because of my attachment to The Little Mermaid on my childhood…

I think what puts me off of Idia in spite of his similarities to Rollo, a character I do really love, is a combination of Idia's appearance and his attitude.

To tackle the shallower aspect first, I actually don't like characters that look "too" gloomy. I would say Rollo is stoic-looking, but not gloomy? He has a pretty neutral face most of the time and the only gloomy thing about him at a glance is the dark circles under his eyes. With Idia... There's a LOT going on here. The hair is definitely unique, but I've never been into super long hair. The nature of it kind of overshadows his face and Idia usually looks miserable as a default. I've mentioned before that I'm unnerved by his coloration too; the super pale skin plus the blue lips is reminiscent of a corpse and, well... while I do see there being an audience that finds him beautiful, I don't think that's a cute look for him.

Now, his attitude. I'm not going to fault Idia for being passionate about his hobbies, as we all have our niches that we're super into. What irks me is how Idia expresses himself and acts out on behalf of those interests. He talks down to people who "don't get it" and takes other measures to defend the things he likes that I think is crossing a line. For example, he tracks down the IP addresses of Ignihyde mob students that defaced his favorite idol group's website. In the EN version, Idia threatens to doxx the mobs too (though he never does, this was just a localization decision). Yeah, you could do that I guess... but should you? 😭 The other characters also do questionable things (as a J word fan, I cannot deny this) but those actions are usually so outlandish no one irl would do it (like how Azul is a high school student that runs his own shady business). Idia's behavior, meanwhile, embodies some very real and very toxic aspects of fandom culture. I think part of why I disliked Idia at first is also his manner of speaking; it's riddled with so much internet lingo that it's hard to take him seriously sometimes. This is even more true of the EN version of the game, which has added even more slang than was in JP. Like... sorry, am I NOT supposed to be giggling when OB Idia is making threats while talking like an enraged gamer (both in EN and JP)? There is a ceiling on how much pathetic I can take in one sitting, and Idia far exceeds it every time he talks. Other characters (like Rollo making cheesy villain speeches, Azul being teased, Jamil's DOKKAN, etc.) have their moments of funny ha ha-cringe as well, but at least I can still see them in a serious light.

Books 6 and 7 are enhancing my opinion of Idia solely because they focus on the "traumatized big brother" part to his character. In Glorious Masquerade too... Idia gets the courage to call Rollo out because he knows their experiences are so similar. I think the storyline was done very well, and I loved seeing how Idia grows from an event that no doubt affected him deeply and still continues to influence him to this day. It's clear that he cares deeply about both Orthos and will step up to protect them. I LOVE THAT FOR HIM, it's not as though Idia is completely throwing aside one brother for the other, he's acknowledging them both as his "true" brothers. The way he goes from laughing to crying in his post-OB flashback... Idia getting so mad at us attacking Phantom Ortho with lightning... the willingness to "go" with OG!Ortho to the world beyond... apologizing to Robo!Ortho for falling for the dream's delusion... Aaaah, it's just too good 😭

🎮 Okay, it took me a while to finally decide and each idea took me right back to our believed firey haired, introverted housewarden, and for good reason.

🎮 90% of your personality corresponds with his own and from that alone has both of you corresponding rather well with one another.

🎮 Now, it took a good amount of time before the relationship even started between the two of you, also because of your personalities. It took a lot of movie nights, anime marathons, all night game nights, and even a little bit of talking here and there between all of that, and with a good help and push from Ortho, he managed to confess and yes, his hair was a furious shade of pink both during and after the confession.

Once in this relationship with you, knowing you for as long as he had, and growing more and more comfortable around you, you certainly begint k see his more confident side, how his ego soars when he defeats a rather hard boss or how you greatly compliment his skills. He will soak all that up like a freaking sponge.

🎮 He has his own bouts of low self esteem (who are we kidding, he has them basically 24/7), but he will not stand seeing you with such low self esteem. How do you not see just how wonderfully amazing you are?! You are basically the limited edition, once in a lifetime UR pull and he managed to be the one to call you his! 🎮 Physical affection isn't his strong suit, it really isn't, but when time self esteem gets bad enough, he will push right on through thay, trying to be exactly what you need in moments like this. It starts off simple, his fingers gently latching onto yours, and if you don't show signs of pulling away, that's when he pulls you close to him, so your basically enveloped in his tall frame. Both of your personal favorite is now when you're drawing in his usual hoodie, laying in his bed, and snuggled under the warm covers while watching an anime or watching him play a game.

Anything you give him is treated as if it were the most precious thing in the world (it is) and he has grown all but addicted to your touch and when not anyone anyone else and in the comfort of his room or yours, he will actively seek it out (it's honestly like watching a cat leaning into you for affection and it's beyonf adorable).

🎮 It literally says in his bio that this man loves sweets. That they are his favorite food (not exactly food, but okay), so expect him to have a stash located literally anywhere and everywhere. Even in your dorm room, he now keeps a stash.

🎮 Overall, it took a lot of time to actually get into a relationship with him but it really was all worth it in the end. He loves you, and he wouldn't change that for anything in the world.

I know the concept of dark magical girls especially when they fight against the normal and good magical girls.

I got this idea from the Yes 5 Precure movie where that basically has the magical girl team go against dark magical girls(there was one very sweet and sad “move you to tears” moment, but we’re not here to talk about that), where the overblot part of Malleus creates this fake dark magical girls to battle the others in their dreams(heck maybe even Ortho encounters one of him created by the overblot part of Malleus when trying to investigate within the barrier to figure out a way to solve everyone that’s trapped in it). Their job is that they are like super guards that are meant to keep a certain set of people from daring to break out out of their dreams or to intervene with said dreamers.(PS I might use a bunch of images/gifs from said movie to hopefully help better visualize the idea)

Basically what something like that were to appear in front of book 7 group aka a dark version of magical girl Yuuki(Bonus if Orpheus gets a dark counterpart that uhhh also just happens to turn into a dark magical boy) they fight each other(it also just so happens this is happening with any others that are stepped out of line, also this is fun to imagine the dream people in Lilia’s dream just plain confused where are these sparky people came from and why the heck they are fighting each other? Also uhh watch out from that magical blast just now) of course there will be a moment where eventually Yuuki beats their dark counterpart but instead of destroying them, they spare their dark counterpart’s life and actually even let the counterpart come with them and to show said counterpart what the real world is like once this is all over after well, this dark magical girl knows they are a fake and they believe they ever be. Even jealous of Yuuki well was(but this can also applies to Ortho’s dark magical boy counterpart if you want, plus Orpheus’s own counterpart can also be spared and follow the group too). The counterpart of Yuuki expresses a small wish to see the real sky and experience the real world(for Ortho’s counterpart it would be to not only see the real sky but also experience flying in it even just for a mere moment). Then after traveling with said group. They once again encounter the overblot part of Malleus again, he’s really ticked off that Yuuki, Orpheus, Grim, Sebek, and Sliver managed to wake up Lilia, and yeah another fight(this becomes even more difficult now that he is ticked off), it goes pretty bad. And Yuuki was in very much danger to be dragged down into a deeper sleep(and potentially worse, or in Ortho’s own case he not only unfortunately encounters Malleus but nearly was about to be taken out too).

That was until Yuuki’s counterpart stepped in and took that finishing blow that was meant for Yuuki(Ortho's own counterpart threw himself in between both Ortho and Overblot Malleus to protect his counterpart), they betrayed their former master for the real Yuuki’s sake. both Yuuki and the other Yuuki get knocked back from the blast. Yuuki themself was okay. The other magical girl on the other hand………

The other Yuuki got extremely hurt and damaged to the point they can barely move, it didn’t help that the one thing stabilizing their form got damaged in that very fight. Yuuki themselves would most likely ask, why did you save me back there? To which the counterpart(this will also apply to Ortho’s own counterpart too, plus Orpheus’s counterpart also had to deal with the same having saved his real self had he been spared[plus whatever happens with Yuuki’s counterpart also happens with Orpheus’s counterpart]) says “Why? Because we’re friends, that’s what you said before right?” The dark magical girl soon explains that it would have been better had the two had met in a better and different place, sadly it was impossible for they were simply a fake, a copy of the real Yuuki. Despite Yuuki themselves believe that despite the other a fake, the other still are a friend to them.

“But……I never quite learn how to smile like you” says Yuuki’s dark counterpart despite the small smile on their face. “I don’t think I even get to see the real sky nor world either. I wish I could have seen them for myself”(for Ortho’s counterpart case, “I don’t think I get to ever see nor fly in that open sky will I……I wish I could have seen and flown in that very sky just once”) and they say this with a few stray tears yet still tried to smile in the end before well fading away too. Yuuki definitely cry their heart out and also definitely be more determined to stop and take down overblot Malleus for what he did now. This also acts as a catalyst for the magical boy part of Malleus to start fighting harder than ever to help. He doesn’t wish for his child of man to let out such a heartbreaking cry, and also can’t let what his overblot self continue this any further(in Ortho’s counterpart case, hearing such a heartbreaking cry from the little shroud hurts, that his overblot self’s actions are causing this sadness and pain. And who knows how long till Yuuki and Orpheus suffer from that as well, and so). Malleus’s magical boy self steps in and helps them escape from the overblot’s reach as well as fight even harder now than ever to stop his overblot self from causing more harm and sadness to all the others too. The fight in stopping overblot Malleus becomes even more serious more than ever, he has to be completely stopped before anymore sacrifices had to be made.

Also sorry for this one being really long 😅, I just had a lot to explain regarding the idea. That aside, what do you think of this long blab of an idea?

I could add some more to the sacrifice part... Let's say that since overBlot Malleus made those counterparts in the dream world... There is no escape for them. Like at all. Once overBlot Malleus is defeated, so will the um be lifted and as such, all products of the dreams would cease to exist.

Here I have decided to also reveal Idia's magical warrior: Sebek. Sebek is a very skilled fighter and takes on the more masked/secret hero persona. His weapons are hand guns and he has some good chunk of experience.

Hence why, Sebek will serve as a very important figure, as his fight with the dark counterpart is the first one and also the one where Sebek destroys his counterpart, sparing it from the inevitable painful demise it would have once the spell is lifted.

But in that fight, I decided to add that he and the real Malleus get separated. So the 2 have to work together and navigate this chaos, in order to pick up the others.

And Sebek gives to Malleus some advice. He protected him all this time, until Malleus himself somehow got dragged into this mess. Being a magical girl is not all that sunshine and rainbows and sometimes, sacrifices have to be made. Sometimes the option that sounds more cruel is actually the most merciful outcome.

Meanwhile, Yuuki and Orpheus have their own encounters. Not knowing about the pre-determined demise of all the counterparts in the dream world, they try to save as many as possible until they meet with Sebek and Malleus.

Imagine the sheer angst that would be when the overBlot is defeated and the spell is lifted. All the counterparts realising they were never meant to exist on their own and slowly fade away, being in truth, only a small part of the originals. A part that would continue to live inside them and to please never forget it.
