I asked a while ago, but I'll ask again,

What makes a good story?

There is no simple answer to this question, as what readers consider "good" can vary a lot on the genre you're writing in, and the audience you're writing for. What one reader considers good is entirely subjective, and won't be a universal experience for everyone.

I started my day by studying, reading, and exercising. I have to be back on track regarding all my stuff, mainly with all my JavaScript classes, once I have a few courses to finish by the end of 2023.

Also, I downloaded the British Council app to help me with IELTS (I bought a course on Udemy too, but I got the app to reinforce my studies), so many things to do, so little.

One of them had a thumbnail with the same image as the ad so I clicked it harder than the first plane hit the Twin Towers. The video started with a disclaimer that apparently this was a never seen before episode that was too explicit for television. The episode started with Randy in his room. He was slowly taking his clothes off. Once he took everything but his underwear off, it then cut to CARTMAN GETTING FUCKING DIED WITH A KNIFE BY SONIC.EXE OH SHIT! That was scary and turned me off! Hopefully Comedy Central will sue whoever made this into poverty. The fuckers behind knew many others like me find Randy really hot and would fall for this but it’s not my fault!

After that, the episode cut to Stan at a dinner table. He heard loud moaning noises. It then revealed that it was Randy jacking off to a photo of me Irl. That’s when I realized I had a chance. I used my #y/n powers to go through my screen and find Randy. Randy kissed me on the lips. His wife then walked in. She was more shocked than when I found out that Chris Chan just got bailed out of prison.

“Randy! How could you?” She screamed.

“Y/N is hot and sexy and I don’t love you anymore!” Randy exclaimed.

Randy was right and packed his bags and bought us a condo on the beach and we had 2 cats, no a hamster, and we got married. That’s really it. I don’t know what else to say. Go away now.

Sat. 7/1/23

US 191 North I pulled into a rest stop.   A few miles back Truck gave me a Wrench on the dashboard.  

oh fuck oh fuck the orange wrench on a Powerstroke engine  I’m in the middle of Utah on a holiday weekend at 4pm.  Miles from a town of any size.  I turn off the engine and sit.  Sweat and think.  

A big red Ford diesel towing a trailer loaded with an old Bronco pulls in.     The guy gets out, checking his tie downs and tires.   Kinda quiet like I say, Excuse me.. and explain what happened. We shared the “oh damn” look.  We talk about Limp Mode and ways for me to get to the nearest town.  And he stands next to me staring at the dash while I hold my breath and crank it up.  

NO WRENCH !!!!!!!  And the idle sounds ok.  No smoke coming from anywhere. It’s a damn miracle.  “Sounds ok” he says.  I grin.   Me: ok, ok.. I’m gonna drive 60mph, keep the rpm down, watch my gauges and try to make it to the next town.    I’m getting ready to go, saying Thank You and he tells me a little about his Bronco project.  Then he says, “Let me give you my number in case something happens.  Call me and let me know you made it.  I will be worried, wonder what happened to you.”   I choke back tears.  He gives me his number and wishes me luck.  

I head out and Truck shows no distress.  I made it to my scheduled stop safely and sent him a text.  “That’s great news!” he replied “Keep me posted.”  

Good Guy, Road Angel?  This kindness happened.    I am grateful.
