Been replaying Hades obsessively (as you do) and I love how almost every character addresses Zagreus differently? it's so small but it adds to their charm

My take on this, under the cut because I wrote more than intended

- Hange, Child of Hephaestus: because, yeah, it's Hange. They are curious, they like building stuff. Plus I can totally see Hange with fire powers.

- Levi, Child of Hades: because Levi is definitely a child of one of the Big Three, he's special, he's powerful. And he reminds me of Nico, all brooding but so soft on the inside and full of trauma. Give these boys a hug. Oh and the fact that Levi's from the underground just really fits.

- Eren, Child of Poseidon: I know, I know, Eren being Eren would probably be a Child of Ares with war and stuff but- I just- listen to me. Poseidon is the god of earthquakes as well. Rumbling, oh yeah. And I know the ocean was more of Armin's dream and all the symbolism, but Eren wanting to go and see the ocean... I don't know, in my mind his Godly parent is Poseidon.

- Armin, Child of Athena: not much to say, Goddess of wisdom and war strategy. Armin's smart, strategic, always got a plan. Alternatively, I've thought of him being a child of Aphrodite, and I don't dislike the idea.

- Mikasa, Child of Athena: I'm kinda lost with her but I like to think she's the other side of the coin. Like, the part of Children of Athena that's pure talent for arms and battles. Because Mikasa is pure talent for battle, but I feel she lacks the aggressiveness of Ares children.

- Erwin, Child of Zeus: yes I know he can be another child of Athena but his confidence, his presence, his leading abilities. Just big Zeus vibes I get from him.

- Mike, Child of.... Well I like him being a child of Apollo like anon suggested, and it fits my headcanon of Mike. But, I feel canon Mike would probably be a Child of Ares.

- Moblit, Child of Apollo: I really like the idea of him being able to heal. Also, he's a talented artist and a ray of sunshine.

- Nanaba, Child of Demeter: I really love what anon suggested. Totally with them on this one.

I don't think Zagreus would get jealous so quickly! So I made some scenarios were he could get a lil' jelly. [And I'm seriously wanting to make one Greek Gods x [You] series after so many thoughts about Poseidon, Apollo and Dionysus as boyfriends and being Hera's 'secret' lover - Like, before marrying Zeus or something like that.] If Anyone wants to see that, please tell me :]

Zagreus Jealous

Does he get jealous quickly?

No, he doesn't.

Zagreus isn't some kind of yandere or anything like that, he knows that you can handle any situation very well - So, he doesn't get jealous of anything.

Everything seems okay to him; You want an poly relationship? Okay, talk to him and he will make this work well. You want to date his dad? No. You want to date Dyonisus? All fine for him.

But, he can get Jealous quickly if people can do things that he can't with you.

What does he get jealous of?

That depends on the personality you chose. If it is Sun or Eclipse, he gets jealous about how the other gods can just... Go and talk to you, hug you, kiss you...

If it is Moon, Cloud or Rain, he is probably going to get jealous if you are approaching or give too many gifts to other beings, especially if he - by himself - doesn't get that many gifts - Or - you giving too much attention to someone other than him or his family.

If you are Rainbow, if you are flirting too much with others, he can feel a little jealous - especially if you start getting touchy with them.

It's very difficult to get him jealous and not mad. [Situations that some people put to 'jealousy act' (SA) would get him mad - what is not the ask.]

How does he act?

When he is jealous... Well... It is a little difficult to say with 100% certainty - because his actions change depending on what you like and if you are in the underworld and everything.

He starts to roll his eyes at the subject [The other person], especially if they are trying to get your attention. He WILL be very very sarcastic with the other person, even mocking their words.

With you [around the other person] he would just play off as being chill and would just give some hints about his jealousy for you to understand that he wants to talk with you alone. [He wouldn't make you just let your friend behind just because he felt jealousy]

With you, alone, he would explain everything that he felt and ask for forgiveness - cause he couldn't control his own feelings. You would need to say some kind stuff to him, in your own way, to make him understand that feeling jealousy is normal... And that he shouldn't feel so down about that.

...Now, you would want to know how he would act with the personality that you chose... Right?

You thought that it was a GREAT and FUNNY idea to surprise your boyfriend. You and Aphrodite just appear two time - in the beginning and to get a combine boon, after that, it seemed like you two just disappeared... Of course, it was part of your fun plan!

You and Aphrodite were chilling around after getting Zeus and Hades permission to go down there and were just waiting for Zagreus to chose between your boon or Aphrodite. With an 0,3 time record, he choosed your boon.

"Thank you, my beloved! I will remember this~ I would Aaaaalways choose you too!"

"What a shame... Could I be the third person into your relationship? Oh wait, I already am." Aphrodite was talking about being the third wheel... But, Zagreus [who was thinking that you two were acting suspicious] understanded... Another meaning.

"Heeey! Don't say it like that!"

He didn't like it. He just avoided the heart (Aphrodite's skill) and killed all the monsters, before just picking Aphrodite boon so he could continue his way, not saying anything.

 You could sense there was something wrong with Zagreus, but you couldn’t actually tell exactly what… But you were so happy and excited for Zagreus to get back at Hades’s place so you could surprise him that you didn’t even think about how sus everything sounded. 

 And after some time, Zagreus died… Well, no sh- But he got back at the ‘checkpoint’, where… Tada! You were there too!

“. . .Oh my, if it isn’t Zagreus’s partner!” With Hypnos' lack of keeping secrets and surprises, he would be upfront with that information. Zagreus quickly turned his head so he could see… You. You … The vision he had - first seeing you - was probably one of the prettiest in his head.

 he didn’t wait, just runned to hug you with all the speed he had - using his dash to be close enough to you before just pulling you to his embrace. Aphrodite would laugh at this demonstration of affection.

 “Seems like Zagreus and you match~” She would say, happily almost not seeing how dark and dull his eyes would be almost hostily towards her “Oh my- I should apologize for what I did say earlier~ I understand that you misunderstood my words, I was talking about being the ‘Third wheel’ and not the ‘lover’~”

 “Oh… I see, it's my fault.” He would say in his worried but sorry tone as he created a little distance between you and him “...Though… Could I talk with you, [Reader]?”

 He would guide you to his room, there, he would be way more upfront with his thoughts… “Look, I’m sorry… I… I just couldn’t say those things in front of Hypnos and Aphrodite… But… I got jealous of that whole thing… I just noticed that you could live happily with some god of the Olympus. It would be way easier and you wouldn’t have too much trouble… Especially because of having to go through a lot of stuff just so you can get into the Underworld.”

 “Do you think I give a single fuck?” You would say, with your characteristic smile and would pinch Zagreus’s cheek “I love you, Zagreus… And if I need to go to hell, another dimension or whatever to be with you, I will.”

 “...You are too… Much… You know?” He would say with a chuckle.

 “You were the one that, for the first time seeing me, guided me to your room.”

Hypnos and you started to get very close... Because of that, some souls didn't know about your true romantic relationship and would have their doubts.

 Hypnos and you - for some reason - were getting very close, maybe it was because you could see his value, you don’t judge his laziness and tries to help in what you can, even defending him from the verbal attacks from the others gods - Even if it was from the mighty Nyx or Hades.

 Because of your protection, an ‘meme’ started towards the souls - “Zagreus, his partner [you] and Zagreus's partner husband [Hypnos].”

 No one seemed actually uncomfortable with that joke and - sometimes - Zagreus or Hypnos would kindly laugh it off and change the topic - But, this day, a Soul asked in front of others [loudly] if Hypnos was your boyfriend.

 “No.” That was your fast answer.

 “Hahahaha… How is that even an question...?" Hypnos would try to laugh it off, because he could feel Zagreus glare towards him - waiting for his answer “No, no. They are with this handsome fellow” Hypnos would point toward Zagreus and the words that the soul told Zagreus what they thought about the situation.

 “Well, you should be careful then. They are too close.”

 “Excuse me, but I trust both of them. If they were in love, I know that they would tell me… And, I’m not against polyamour.”

 The soul would stay quiet after that, Hypnos would sigh of relief and you would just wait patiently for Zagreus to go back to his room - following your boyfriend, you would hug him - bringing him closer to your body as a ‘gift’. 

 “Even as a God, I’ve never heard something as sweet as that… I’m happy that you trust me… But I could feel a hint of jealousy.”

 “I’m sorry, dear. Some feelings are difficult for me to… Understand, I admit that I was a little jealous of how fast you two became friends. Just that… But - I do not think you would ever cheat on me. I know and believe when you say you’re loyal.”

Your muscles were hurt, and you could feel a heavy pain around your neck, with that, Heracles promised you a great massage. Then be it… The only bad thing was that you were almost naked in front of your long distance boyfriend with a 2-3 meters muscular soft boy behind you.

 “Oh shit.” You would say making it seem more sus than it already is.

 “Am I interrupting… Something?” Zagreus would ask, waiting for you to realize that he was on Olympus.

 “HOLY COW! YOU ARE IN OLYMPUS, WHAT IN HERA!?” You would run towards Zagreus, hugging him “And Alcides was just giving me a massage, we were training.”

That’s why he decided to give his blessing to the relationship, but ONLY if you two could be together for 3 months without an big fight.

 With that, Persephone suggested some ‘challenges’ to Zagreus and you, being one of them ‘flirting around’, they wanted to see your and Zagreus reaction to someone trying to flirt with both of you.

 The soul would go towards Zagreus first while you were asking something for the cooker. The soul would start with a respectful bow to Zagreus and would say “I’m sorry, master Zagreus , but if I don’t have a bed how am I going to serve you?”

 He almost choked - You didn’t seem bothered though, just continuing what you were doing while Zagreus tried to think about an answer. “I’m sorry but, I would suggest not flirting with me… I don’t feel comfortable with that.” A simple and honest answer, it would be enough to make the soul step back until just started to do something else. Zagreus would sigh and start looking at you, making sure you weren’t mad about his answer or anything. “All fine, [reader]?”

 Your answer would be a nod while finishing your meal “Duude, the food here is HOT as F U C K, not as hot as you though.” With that simple answer you got Zagreus a lil’ flustered, he was going to say something but another soul approached the table where you two were.

 The soul just said “Bro, I’m in hell or Heaven? Because all I see it’s a angel.”

 “I’m no angel, but I can guide you to heaven.”

 Zagreus was seriously taking this horrible flirting as seriously? Maybe, after all, he never saw you flirt with more than 3 phrases to someone. He did show to be a little discomfortable though, he would just look at you.

Hey do you want to provide a in-depth analysis why you you prefer superwonder over clois, wondertrev, and wonderbat?

My analysis are always skin deep and, of course, biased according to my preferences.

First of all, I adamantly reject the couples of humans and supers. Not, as Lork fans suggested, because matters of eugenics (poor kids, they are grasping at straws trying to prove we, Superwonder fans, are evil). I'm not a nazi, looking for a superior race. It's only a matter of different physical characteristics. As a matter of fact, when a meta and a human share a bed, there's always the risk the meta could kill the human in their sleep. It is common the sleeping person turns, extends the limbs (sometimes violently), hugs the other...a lot of involuntary actions which could harm the human, even asphyxiate the partner by accident. Nobody can control the movements in their sleeping phase. I can imagine Scott Summers suddenly waking up in the middle of the night and opening his eyes without his protecting visor and blowing Jean's head by accident with the rays coming out of his eyes. Jean herself may be having nightmares of being attacked and projecting a repellent force field with her mind, causing Scott being thrown through a wall or being crushed. If the super has superstrength, the greater the risk. So, there's even peril with two metas sleeping together. Individual beds or even separated bedrooms are needed. Clark may have meteorism one night and kill Lois with one potent fart (one can only hope). Sorry to burst your romantic bubble, but each case must be considered individually.

Another instance in which there is a dangerous loss of control is when the meta indulges in their romantic urges. When the blood abandons your brain and goes to your nether parts, instinct becomes stronger than care for the other person. When you are two or three times stronger than your partner, like it may happen in human couples, it's not a big deal. However, when the difference is hundreds or even thousands of times, like "okay, dear, you can tumble a tractor tire at the gym. Quite impressive. But your partner can move the very planet where you and that tire are standing on." That's significant and very dangerous.

You can't expect, like Lork fans do, that Clark is always in control of his impulses and emotions in Lois behalf. Sex is one of the few instances in which you have to be able to let loose, to enjoy yourself, and Clark can't do it with a common human. Supes is always holding back in every other circumstance of his life 24/7 (world made of cardboard, remember?), let him have this one. It seems to me a selfish attitude from fans to relegate the main character to benefit a secondary one. The same goes to those willing to throw Diana/Wonder Woman under the bus to make Trevor or Batso look important.

A mortal human and a superbeing could never constitute a couple of equals. Nor soulmates, since their souls are focused on very different interests: a superhero needs to look at the World from a global perspective, not from the petty need for notoriety and what would be good for the front page of the paper the next day.

Writers love saying "superheroes" are the modern gods and demigods. So, let's take a lesson from ancient Greeks, historical scolars and experts on everything regarding deities: Truth is their gods bedded mortal women and had children with them. The trick was they were forced to take a lesser form to be with the human. If the deity presented itself as a god, the mortal would burst in flames at the mere sight of the Olympian magnificence. Mortals couldn't be in the presence of the god in all its glory. Semele, the god Dyonisus human mother, made Zeus promise her he will appear before her like he really was. It ended badly for her.

Instead of posting idiocies like eugenics accusations to justify they have no real arguments to defend their position, this is what fans should focus on: The important thing in a comics book is the guy under whose name is the publication and the franchise, and this principal character can't and shouldn't be defined by the supporting one he goes to bed with. That's why James Bond is sorrounded by a constant carrousel of women. Ironically, the one time the importance of the female companion got promoted to principal, meant the demise of 007, as it should be, because his own survival wasn't his priority anymore.

SuperWonder is, IMHO, totally different. A true pairing of equals. Not only because of their matching powers, the easy argument other couples fans often use. They both are protectors, guardians, helpers, defenders. Their goals are similar. They won't hesitate to sacrifice in the name of justice, peace and truth or to give each other's life for their partner.

They don't have to hold back to be with the other, which is of great help when you want to share your life with your beau without restrictions. "Oh, yeah! because your only interest is for them to have sex...!" Some detractor might say. I say what's wrong with that? Don't you like to enjoy such liberties yourselves? Don't you want the same for your fictional favorites?

The whole planet is their oyster and they want to make it a safer place for all the people to share and enjoy. They communicate with monarchs and peasants all the same: they listen a lot more than they speak to understand our conflicted species.

They usually associate themselves and work with human heroes to give us the chance to admire someone of our own species as role models. Thanks to their upbringing they have strong family values and can't wait to form a nucleus of their own, when the planetary situation allows them.

Some humans, like Batso, think because they have more intelligence than the rest they have the right to tell the others what to do. Diana and Kal believe in sitting down at the side of the road to encourage and wait for those who take longer to walk the path. They know if we don't make it to the end together and convinced of what we do, it doesn't matter how fast we do the journey.

Because they began their relationship as friends with total honesty which later developed in love and care they concluded their relationship with humans should be based in those traits: honesty, love and care. Hence they ditched their secret identities and secret hideouts. This, in turn, made their loved ones be safer, because now the whole planet recognizes them as friends and is looking after their family and friends, warning the heroes when ill intentioned people is around those loved ones to hurt them. Around the Globe there's aproximately 1 billion smartphones and growing. All that people made possible to inform in real time of any event happening anywhere, covering the planet with a tight network of information.

Being romantically associated with humans significantly slowed them down. We humans are too prone to drama, mistrust and always want to have some kind of benefit ("what's in it for me?"), economical or otherwise, whenever we do something or engage in some project. Humans are a drag.

Regardless of our good intentions, a selfish strike is always there: a woman once told Clark that he being Superman and her won't ever work as a couple, because she isn't prepared to share him with the rest of the World.

Nobody could understand one another like Diana and Kal. They are each other's shelter from the storm. This is the main reason why I prefer them together above any other pairing DC may decree for them. Screw tradition.

The situations and characters here described are a projection of mine of how the infinite potential of Wonder Woman and Superman could be exploited if well written if the writers and DC Comics really cared for them.

Zerobaseone mythology concept

Well, this our second part. I already did our first part on zb1 members (Hyung line) as Greek gods and goddess in case of a Greek mythology concept which I hope is gonna happen.

Disclaimer ! I am basing this from my memories of my class on greek iconography and not of work adapted from it. And i am not going to talk about everything that is SA, abuse and violence the gods are surronded with and created. I am not going to do a whole class on greek mythology so good luck. Its also my opinion. And I am not pretending to know everything, I may even be wrong.

Here is our second and final part : Maknae line : (Below the cut)

Gunwook as Athena

Athena is one of the 12 olympians. She was not born from Kronos and eaten by him but is actually a daughter of Zeus. She is the godess of widsom and of strategic war. Even if she is the godess of widsom she still as little moments of anger we will say (Arachnée as well as Medusa). She is one of the godess that is a virgin and never take a husband.

What you have to remember with Athena is her widsom, she is someone with a vision. In a case of a war there is two people that will be needed : Ares (which more of the brutal force) and Athena which will focus more on the strategic parts of a battle. If Athena takes part in a battle actively you know that normally it will be done fair and square. She respects the rules.

In her iconography Athena is represented as a warrior godess. She has an armor, an helmet as well as a shield. And what allows one to identify her no matter what is the presence of the aegis (égide in french) as well as the decapitated head of Medusa.

But mostly one is able to identify her with her warrior like appaerance with her helmet, armor and shield.

Now concerning Gunwook I feel like the link is quite obvious.

Gunwook is brilliant. He is the top student, class president, and we saw with the Kill this love stage that he has a strategic mind as well as a vision. He is able to understand the strenght of everyone around him and then put it together to build a strategy.

We could expect something that is truly giving a warrior vibe, with the helmet, shield and those two symbols of Athena with the aegis and the decapitated head. Even if they will go with a softer version.

Ricky as Dyonisius

This one is kinda confirmed as well lol.

Dyonisius is in most version the son of Zeus, some say that he died and then his father made him become a god because of the affection he had for him. Or in other versions he is an human that was transformed into a god because he was the one that invented the wine and gods liked wine.

Dyonisus is the god of wine, fertility of the soils, theater and party. In his iconographic representations he is always represented with the thyrse (it’s a kind of stick with a pine cone on it), some grape vine and he also has a company of many exotic animals as well as satyr and nymphs.

Why putting them together ? I feel like ricky is actually a very extroverted person and the life of the party. Like I totally imagine going up to someone first and just try to be funny ? If he wasn’t an idol I just know the guy would be partying like crazy in clubs worldwide wise lol

I feel like we definitely can expect some good references such as party crowded scene, having a cup in a hand. I doubt they will represent him with lots of girlies around tho.

Gyuvin as Hestia

Hestia might be one of the most underrated goddess out here while she is so important.

Hestia is the oldest Olympian. The first one that Kronos ate. She is one of the virgin goddess as well as a member of the twelve Olympians.

She is the goddess of home, the hearth (fire pit of the sacred fire), domesticity and family. She was the guardian of the sacred fire (hearth) and was essential to the Greek mythology rites.

She is a very quiet goddess and is rarely talked about and represented even though she was central character and extremely important.

In every city there was the hearth, for her, and for every sacrifice she was the first goddess that was received them.

Hestia is very important because throughout the time the notion family was essential and central, the clan you came from truly mattered in society as well as where you belonged.

In her rare representations she is standing up, with a vieil over head, with a strict expression close to a fire.

Why Gyuvin as Hestia ? Because for me Gyuvin represents home. He is able to make everyone feels at ease. He is central and everyone seem to fly close to him. He is a part of what ties all the members together. I feel like the hugs he gives make you feel at home.

I’m seeing something definitely with warm tones, little fire like summer camp type of fire, as there is not that much representation on her I really want them to make him feel like home. Lots of warm colors, smiles, lemonade and cute little snacks. Just home.

Yujin as Ares

Okay so I can already feel the complains from here but hear me out.

Ares is the god of war. Like the violent one, the bloody ones. And often people only remember him as that. The violent god.

But he was way more than that. He an olympian that never raped anyone. He killed without hesitation his daughter rapist. He was as well the protector of cities, the god of courage as well as the god of masculinity.

He was a protector of women. One of the very few people that Aphrodite ever truly loved. He was globally a big softie and that can be seen in the way he is portrayed in his representations. He was also a very good defender of gay love and gay representations.

In his iconography he is or despised as the god of war, with shield and weapons on as well as his armor . Or he is represented as the man that is enamoured of Aphrodite. He was a very handsome man and muscular.

Why am I putting Yujin as him then ? Because I feel like yes Yujin lives to be a menace because he is silly like that but he is also someone that seems to be very deep and well thought for his age. I totally imagine him taking the side of his girl schoolmates to watch over them. He is deeply loved and I totally can see him growing up to be an ally and truly supports and protect lgbtq people.

Representation wise I feel like if they put him in an armor with a sword he would be really happy so I want that only for him to be happy. In a more realistic tone I feel like it would be more discreet with like weapons on the floor and very pensive poses.

What do you think Elizaveta was like pre fold or during the time she was trapped in the fold?

it's difficult to say considering the only pre-fold content we have of her is The Lives of Saints, a book that does not go in-depth into its saint life and its narratives are known to be slightly fabricated for religious purposes. but assuming some of the elements in her tale had basis on actual events and leaving aside all the religious propaganda, here's what we roughly get: a peasant girl had a special ability with bees. one day her village was attacked by raiders. she saved them all. they repaid her heroism by tearing her apart in a field of roses. this little summary makes me assume there are two elizavetas: the elizaveta that always was and the elizaveta that she became after the attack.

elizaveta is one with the bees, thus she has always been deeply connected with plants, especially roses -- she's the patron saint of gardeners, after all. and this connection probably influenced how her senses are affected by the world around her. there's this line in aleksander's pov: "He remembered how Elizaveta had craved sensation—the taste of wine, the touch of skin, the feel of soft earth beneath her feet." (The Monk, Ch. 26, RoW) this tells me that elizaveta liked to indulge her senses, that she was often seeking things that were pleasing to the eyes, the ears, the nose, the tongue, the stomach, the mind and the skin. this may be the one thing that remained unchanged throughout her life because i think that craving to simply feel alive is probably a consequence of her power. it kinda reminds me of dyonisus who was a deity of vegetation and also greatly associated with pleasure. now imagine someone like that being trapped for 400 hundred years in a place that denied her of her senses? it's no wonder she went a little mad.

but of course we have to talk about what she became after she was "murdered". in true anti-grisha hate crime fashion her murder is quite horrific. she was killed in the village that she had saved, bound and torn apart while her own people (who were only alive thanks to her) did nothing to object. this definitely made her resent humanity as a whole. we know for a fact that she was very close to the darkling before the fold and they probably met shortly after this incident. i think he provided her a safe haven and a purpose to fight for, and he was also the only one who was as unique as herself back then. imagine an unique person with immense power rescues you from certain death, helps you get stronger and gives your life purpose? at the very least you'll spend the rest of your life in gratitude to that person. so it's no wonder that she grew to worship the darkling. their power and uniqueness made her think of themselves not only as superior to the otkazat'sya but also other grisha. i'm not sure when when her views on power became so twisted, if she began to think like that shortly after her "death" or while she was trapped in the fold. because it's curious that elizaveta is so unwaveringly loyal to aleksander despite their goals being different, and we can't even argue that that loyalty is due to his great power and his uniqueness because she spent centuries alongside two people who were as powerful and as unique as herself and she hated them. maybe she truly loved sasha even as he was.

of the 3 saints trapped in the fold, i'd say liza was affected the most. their place was in a constant state of un-life. they were isolated from the world, there was no food, no smell, no hunger, no wind, no temperature. everything was monochromatic. they were alive but not really alive. they couldn't even sleep to get some momentary relief. these circumstances would take a great toll on anyone, but specially on someone who's so deeply connected to nature and soil life such as liza. the one thing that kept her going was hope that she would be joining aleksander someday and they would rule ravka together, in the meantime she occasionally used her powers to toy with her worshipers a little bit and pretended to debate her "roommates" on the best course of action to get out of the fold while hiding her real intentions.

TL;DR: elizaveta was a nature girl who liked to enjoy herself, but having an unique power, being part of persecuted group, and being in prison for centuries in a constant state of un-life without the ability to shut out her conscious for one second probably messed her up.

everyone correct me if I'm wrong, but since the time skip, I'm pretty sure we didn't see (or hear of) yet:

Thetis. Did Hera kill her or something after the trial revealed to everyone that she was sleeping with Zeus and that she was the one to have started the whole anti-Persephone thing? I mean obviously I wish her to suffer the consequences of her actions, but I wouldn't be surprised if Zeus, like... fired her for a while and then called her back as soon as Hera was asleep.

Eros. We learned that Aphrodite got married, and everyone supposes it's with Hephaitsuoss (idkhowtowritehisnameTM) because it makes sense myth-wise. I doubt he remade his life like Storge, not only because he knows about Apollo (and Apollo is rising) but also because he just discovered that Ampelus was Psyche and since the mortal realm and Olympus are separated, I think it would make sense he helps her hide or they both went into hiding to avoid 1) Apollo taking it on them that they stabbed/impaled/shot him multiple time and 2) that Psyche is sent back to the mortal realm.

On Psyche's subject, she must be thirty-something now? I mean she grows at a mortal's rythm.

Aphrodite and Heph... tech-god. I'm putting them together because there's like a 90% chance they got married from the clues we were given along the way. I think Hera blessed their mariage or something before she went into slumber, because if Zeus had forced Aphrodite to marry Heph' for political reasons, 1) Ares would have mentionned it instead of just saying that she left him and got married and admit it was his fault for leading her on, and 2) what could Heph have done to deserve that? He is on Hades' and Hera's side more than on Zeus as far as we know.

Demeter. Everyone wants to know if the slumber reached her in the mortal realm but we can only make theories. As for myself I think she is in a coma and bleeding ichor (since I don't think Zeus would be able to alter the nature of a deity of the same level as him to the point of changing their biology entirely) which would make the mortals care for her in hope of a reward when she wakes. But since it is also possible there is no godly intervention ever since the realms were separated, it might happen that she is (slumbering or not) the target of mortals wanting revenge on the gods for abandonning them.

Semele???? She was Zeus' girlfriend and in the myths, she is Dyonisus' mother, so my best theory on the subject is she was pregnant before the schism, but no one knew, and then since Zeus didn't go back to the mortal realm before a year later (for the evaluation of Perse) and probably forgot about her in the mean time, it's possible she had a pregnancy without true-godly-form-type complications, but was shunned away from her home for getting pregnant out of wedlocks, went to Eleusis, and was taken care of by Demeter, who apparently is accomplished in taking care of hearts broken by Zeus and children resulting from it. I don't think Demeter would do it knowingly, but it's possible she doesn't know before the birth that the kid is a demi-god (because no perception powers in human form). To join my slumber theory to this one, it's possible Demeter took care of Semele and Dyonisus, then Semele took care of her in return when she fell into slumber?

THemis? Pregnant during the trial and on a maternity leave. Nerdier than me will probably tell me who her child could be, but it means, if I'm right about Semele giving birth too, that even if we lost the Aphres family and Hebe to adulthood, we might have cute little (demi-)gods again.

All of Eros and Storge's siblings. Storge apparently is some kind of cosmetologist? or just helping a friend with make up and such, which is totally something Eros would do. If Eros is in hiding as I suspect, did they take over his duty? But also, if the mortal realm is closed, could they take over his work? And do mortals continue to reproduce without love, or did Eros just take care of the regulation side, making more people fall in love when necessary to generations renewal, but not everyone needing him to fall in love? I mean he did have an awful lot of free time in the beginning and we only saw him work once (with Psyche).

the Erynies. They were at the trial, they are underworld deities, and one of them has a crush on Hades. I don't think we saw them asleep. Maybe there is some kind of hidden resistance to Kronos, like Hecate (??) and some other chtonic deities?

the Fates. I think if there is a group of people able to resist Kronos, it's them.

Echo? Zeus took her in to keep an eye on Hera. When she desobeyed, then shut him off to go find Tree-Daphne, then when Hera fell asleep, did it change something to her employment? I wouldn't put it past Zeus to have pettily fired her over Heph's visit.

Hades' dogs and Storge's hamsters???

Other deities we never saw/heard about but I think now would be a neat time to see them appear:

Iris, messenger of the gods and godess of the rainbow. Since Hermes went to the Underworld, I could see Zeus getting Iris to come to Olympus and take over his work.

Triton, son of Poseidon and Amphitrite, and most probably the green lil blorbo we saw hanging with his parents all throughout the story. Having a... what, 12, 14? years old god who only ever knew his father as asleep and bleeding, and the realms as shut, could provide some emotionnal shock value for the reader when it opens again or if his only memories of life out of the ocean are related to his blue uncle or somethign?

Pine-Grown Ivy Stang (Sold)

This is a Bifurcated Stang, which I located and crafted out of Ivy that I ritually harvested from the trunk of a centuries-old Pine tree. The vines themselves appeared to be old as well, having withered and dried to wood some time ago, and while I generally wouldn’t bother harvesting wood that wasn’t still relatively fresh, this particular specimen seemed to call out to me—and I’m glad I listened. I have come to sense and respect a great potency in this horned stave; wild as the Craft, crooked as the Path, and wrapped in a lacework of wending Worm Trails.

The pine tree, from which this Ivy was harvested, is located in a an area of nature absolutely buzzing with magic, and the process of finding and reaping it was a very special one that I wish I could share more about. However, I can say that from the moment I started working on the piece, I could feel the dormant spirament (virtue) of the plant stirring and lending itself to the metamorphic process of creating this implement. I can also say that, between the respective and conjoined presences of the Pine and Ivy, I couldn’t help but note a possible connection to Dyonisus (whose sacred plants include both Ivy and Pine.) What’s more, I undertook the process of Hallowing the tool (as well as most of the physical construction) during the New Moon Crescent of February 12th. Now, as someone who isn’t a devotee of Dionysus, I am more than a little fuzzy when it comes to the specifics of his festivals, but unless I’m mistaken, the Hallowing ended up taking place on an evening that fell directly within the window of Anthesteria (an Athenian festival that honored Dionysus between the 11th and 13th of Attic Calender month of Anthesterion.) With the presence of multiple, overlapping connections to Dionysus, I think it’s safe to say that this stang would serve well as the instrument of a practitioner versed in the Dionysian mysteries—though I don’t necessarily think that this is the only type of practitioner it has the capacity to serve.

After stripping, curing, and sanding the wood, I continued by staining it using a pigment made from rusted nails, the majority of which, came from old farm tools. I thought that this connection to the tending of the land and vegetation seemed fitting. Following the staining and the Hallowing, I went on by sealing, stabilizing, and strengthening the wood by giving it several coats of Polyurethane varnish.

I truly do think this is a special piece, so I really hope this stang can find its place in the hands of the right person. Pricing is flexible, and I’m always happy to work out things like payment plans, so if you’re interested in purchasing it, please feel free to reach out!

Percy Jackson AU

Hey, my brain just dropped a new AU, so.... Basically (Spoilers for PJO): 

Summing it up, in PJ, Percy finds out that he’s a Demigod son of Poseidon when he goes to Camp Half-Blood, where he finds a bunch of other demigods (including Annabeth (Athena), Luke (Hermes), and Clarisse (Ares)), as well as other creatures (like satyrs (his friend, Grover, turns out to be a satyr), nymphs, Chiron (A centaur and the director of activities), and Dyonisus (camp director, also a god receiving a punishment)). There’s a profecy that says that a child of the big three (Zeus, Hades, Poseidon) will bring down or save Olympus when they turn 16. In the first installment of the series (TLT), Luke steals Zeus’ lightning (the weapon, not the expression) to put a divide on the gods, who think Percy stole it, so Percy has to go look for it and finds out about all of it. In the end, Luke was working with Kronos (the titan who ate the gods) on bringing down the Olympus, yada-yada, battles, they defeat Kronos.

(In PJO, each god has a cabin where their children stay, but only the 12 Olympians had cabins before HOO. The children whose godly parent doesn’t have a cabin or don’t know yet who they are stay in Hermes’ Cabin) 

SO! Jack and Maddie aren’t ghost hunters, they’re monster hunters and they can see through the mist (a sorta cloak(?) that makes most mortals not be able to see monsters). They met in college (as well as Vlad, that’s how Maddie meets Hades), but nothing happens then. Maddie is Danny’s mom and Jack is Jazz’s, they married after they re-met (when D and J were little), happy fam stuff. 

By the time Danny (and Tucker) goes to CHB, Jazz has been going there in the summers for a few years already. Danny is 13/14 and it’s the same deal as in the book: Jack and Maddie decide it’s time to take Danny to CHB and they take Tucker too because they know he’s also a demigod, Minotaur attacks and takes everyone except for Tucker and Danny.

Valerie, Sam, and Vlad’s stories’ are intertwined almost in the same way that Annabeth, Luke, and Thalia. That being that Sam+Valerie both ran away from home and Vlad found them along the way but when they were getting to CHB a monster attacked and Valerie (who was struck and almost dying) was transformed into a tree.

Danny finds out that he’s a child of the Big Three and him+Sam & Tucker go to the Underworld to retrieve Zeus’ lightning. They get there and find out that 1)Hades didn’t steal it, 2) they got the lightning, 3) Hades has been keeping Danny’s family safe. So Hades lets them go to return the bolt (they don’t know that Vlad stole it, but he did). They return it and after that they find out that Vlad is trying to defeat the gods by working with Kronos.

I don’t have much beyond that except that all the ghosts are either demigods that are gonna die or monsters.

Kayn💜; Honestly, dude's already an huge teddy bear so i feel like he'd get along w basically everyone there. He's also pretty naive himself, so he'd probably get into some dumbassery w them, at one point or another 😭😭

Kayn wouldn't rly matter any of the gods behaviours too, since he's already used to Hoe and just, being a proud himbo himself. He'd also prolly get specifical gifts too (ahem wine for dyonisus too AHEM), n just spendin time w each of em, cus even though they'd known for like, idk some days, he would rly care bout their well bein and everything in between. Just, a very sweet dude.

Shou🍵: He's very skeptical of people so, he'd definetly have the hardest time openin up, especially to em. Everything's more detailed in his post so id recommend to check It out, but let's just say he never had any figure to freerly opening up to, both because of his nature and just, about how he was. Would definetly get along best w Aiwin, because of how similar they are, both on personality n trauma. Or even Amy now that I think bout It. But even then, he'd get too self concious and probably Hide from em too sometimes.

Myst🎸: Basically almost the same as Kayn, but make It like ten times louder and a LOT more energetic. Basically another loud fucker that would probably get anyone up till he doesn't collapse. She also would rly get along w Dionysus tbh, and be hated for how all outta place he Is😭😭 But we luv her anyways 🤸‍♀️

He'd also be really caring bout em too, and when she needs to stop, she will.

Eris🌑: They're my most recent of, so I'm conflicted about who it would be the closest too. Like, moons really similar to a God,so I feel like they'd be closed to em, but at the same time I dunno who they'd open up with. Because they're polite, even caring at times, and wants to care bout their pals too as long as they don't get hurt or in trouble, so ya can tell me who they'd be closed w 😭😭

Naexi⚛️: Fun fact, they're an actual demi god, BUT, instead of when i talked about Eris, they'd be trying to get close to prolly Aiwin and Amy, for the sole reason if interests. They're interested in old folk tails, that made her fall in love with humanity all in the meanwhile, as that's also part of the reason she left her world to later on joining the gang (more on that on her post ofc), so it's normal she'd be more attracted to em.

She's also really polite and calm too, but that doesn't mean they're that overall cutesy. They can be rly subdoly teasing too, so I'll leave ya w a paring for her too if ya don't mind😭😭

I have this not-so-original-headcanon where Zagreus gets a little affected by the god's boons even after his death. So, when he crawl out of that blood pool he's a little dizzy or other things.

Let's say he had an Aphrodite boon. He'll get extra clingy and soft and lovely, and will hug everything on front of him.

Hypnos will be the first, obviously. Even liking it, he'll be scared of his brother's jealousy. And Meg, too. But will appreciate the neck kisses.

Hades will shout for Zag to stop that embarrassing thing only to be hugged too, and Zag will say that his beard smells good and play with it

(Hades will like it, be a little shy, and let him go without saying a thing).

Nyx will actually be the one to stop him, but only after a lot of time spent by hugs.

If he had a run with Dyonisus, Zag will be drunk. With Zeus/Area/Poseidon, he'll be extra cocky (which turns on both Thanatos and Meg).

If he had an Artemis/Athena boon he'll be all "I need no one, ew, feelings" but will ask Orpheus to sing some sad rock song.

With Hermes he'd actually be chill, do some things he should've done earlier and then, I don't know, be sweet to Cerberus

As for Demeter, I think none really wants to know how things go with that one hahaha.
