What will make Diana fall for Clark, most woman perfer Bruce Wayne?
Kal and Diana became friends because of trust, mutual respect, admiration and compatible values, goals and objectives. They were always true to the other. Both of them were outsiders, trying to fit in a strange world, which made them even closer. Their way to look at the World is quite similar, wanting to be protectors instead of instructors. To become life partners is just a small step away. How do I know this? My life partner and I also began as friends and co-workers and, after a few years, developed feeling for each other. Now we are together. I think this gives me some little authority on the subject.
Now, back to Diana and Kal: they could declare themselves Queen and King of the World, yet they prefer being called friends, teaching love by example. Peace is their main desire, that's why violence is always the last resort. They aren't afraid of acknowledging their mistakes. They are not perfect and can apologize in front of the people, promising they'll keep on trying not to make mistakes they can't turn back.
As for Bruce, it makes absolutely no sense in the life and upbringing of Diana of Themyscira. Her culture taught her not to trust in men and the Patriarch's World. Unfortunately, Bruce Wayne and specially Batso are the epitome of what male dominance means and what that represents. He can't trust a woman he can't control. He can't conceive there's awoman he can't control. Talking about toxic masculinity, so she doesn't have any reason to even look at him in a friendly, least of all a romantic way. She can work with him as a colleague, with reservations, but not much more than that. Batso is the teenage girl fantasy, with all that smugness, mystery and danger. He's like the teen biker all cheerleaders pine for, until they discover there's nothing more. Everything about Bruce is a façade, a construct carefuly built to hide a traumatized manchild with undeveloped feelings. Bruce is damaged goods, he's a total showoff, untrustworthy and twofaced. And that is him as a friend. Diana has no use for a man like that. As she saw beneath Kal's attempt to conceal his secret identity, she can see what's benind Bruce careful knitted web of lies, and she's not impressed. She was once the Avatar of Truth, so truth is paramount to her, she can't trust him as far as she can throw him. And she can thow him very, very far.
Everything alluring about Bruce, Diana doesn't want or need:
Money. No thanks.
Looks. She could date an Olympian god so she desires.
Intellect. His intellect is very vast, but the mind behind it is, as said, broken. Bad foundation.
Power. People, people...we are talking Wonder Woman here. Power? Mpfff!
Strength. Same.
Sexual prowess. Dude: Bruce is an ant and Diana is an aardvark. He's not even breakfast for her.
Determination. Diana left her lavish lifestyle and Paradise to go to a strange world to fight for truth and justice. You want to talk determination?
Diana and Kal want, at any cost, to avoid letting people think they are somhow superior. Bruce is very fond of showing off his supposed superiority everytime he can. According to Confucius, Bruce is always in the wrong room.

"Most women prfer Bruce Wayne"? Take away his money and we'll see.

How will you change Superman and Wonder Woman stories.
Do you find Wonder Woman more attractive than Lois
First of, I would insist in treating the characters with respect. There seems to be a lot of it going around but it's only for human heroes. Screw metahumans. Second, I would also demand respect for the fans of said superheroes. What...? You don't like how your hero is presented, go cheer for other, preferably human. Human heroes can do anything they want and get away with it. No questions asked. No matter how stupid. Superman and Wonder Woman want to have children together? Big no-no, because that's the beginning of a super race which will end human life. That's eugenics. Clark and Lois want to have a child? Let's stop life on Earth for a year so they can procreate, then we restart normal time so the kid can be the first of a super race, but that is not eugenics, because...well, because.
Is Diana more atractive than Lane?
Let's see: Diana is immortal and she will look like she is in her prime forever. She's an Amazon, either made out of clay and blessed by the gods or daughter of one. Too many retcons I can't follow. Either way, she has divinity in her. She has universal empathy, she identifies with all living things. I'll suspend retcons and deal with the last idiocy the best I can. That would show some respect for the fan/reader.
Lois is waaay past her prime, because she made Clark wait forever until she decided she won't pursue Superman anymore. She's a career oriented woman. Her unique objective is her success. even over her own family. Besides, she has no empathy at all, she has no friends, she only has people she can use. Not even a pet, if we don't consider Superman. We are not sure if she even likes her own kid. She has no respect for her fellow human beings, not even for colleagues she knows are better than her at her own craft. But she always demands respect from others towards her and her work. If she approaches you, be sure it is to use you or gain something out of you.
She, like Batso, is always in the wrong room, according to Confucius. But, for them, it is a desirable trait. An admirable one. Because they're human.
Yes, Diana is more atractive than Lane. By far. Diana is a superhero, with her own books and Lane is just a secondary character.

Superman and Wonder Woman is a good pairing because they are both kind and heroic. They don’t need to fall into the trap of trying to fix a bad person
It's because of their innherent kindness they always try to redeem the bad element. They operate mostly on hope, and hope would never let them give up on anyone. Besides, it's in the handbook of the superhero.
They know they can't save all, but, at least, they must try.
Okay. Not Joker.
Joker must go. Batso is an idiot. Even hope must have its limitations. It's like the tale of the frog and the scorpion.
Joker must go.
One of the first things they taught to rescuers and lifeguards is "If the victim is dragging you down, knock it out."
But Diana and Kal are not human. They can endure a couple of dificultes and still come on top with a minimum of casualties.
Batso is an idiot.
Tumblr media
Diana and Kal hold on to hope, but they don't fool themselves. It is called "trust but verify".

Oh, Dude! I'm so sorry for you!
Your fantasies reveal your inermost desires. Let that tall, handsome dark skin man into your life and start living. Tell him how much you need him and love him.

What's normal?
People seem to consider normal an alien mating with a human. An alien falling for a human.
An Alien falling for another metahuman is anathema. It's sin an a sign of eugenics, a desire to breed a super race to take over humanity.
A superpowered alien and a superpowered Amazon is abnormality.
An alien and a human are normal. Every day stuff. No biggie. It's not eugenics, even though they had a superpowerful child, the first of a super race.
This says a lot about our desires of mating with a god, making a god fall for us. To think we are worthy to face the divinity in equal terms and even establish our own conditions on how the pairing must go. The god must obey our every whim. The god must be a stupid being to need the constant guidance of the superintelligent human and never upset the order this one sets in the household. And never, ever shall the superpowerful alien challenge the human's authority. After all, this planet belongs to humans, who had performed such a good job with it so far. This is normal.
It doesn't matter if the alien and the metahuman make a perfect team, if they developed a friendship in which mutual respect and affection are the norm, honesty is the norm, because this is not normal. Being equals and treating the other as such is not normal: there must be a dominant component in the couple, although the dominant part is the weaker. Because being the weaker, we humans have every right to set how far the superpowerful alien can go: it can go as far as we can, no further.
The alien must feel like Pinocchio, he's not a real kid. He's better, far better, but not real. He has to want to be a real kid, a human kid. So he submits to the authority and command of humans. Being nothing special makes us very special, for some reason.
Human hubris knows no boundaries.
Like Semele we demand the god to present before us in all its glory, even though it may cause our own demise. Why? Because we have the right. Because we could. Because we want it. This is normal.
Normal is to abuse the love the alien feels for us to have him wrapped around our finger. keeping our love for him as a hostage to make him an obedient puppy. Oh, the power...
"You are not the descendant of a super race, with ancient wisdom and knowledge beyond anything we've achieved so far. You are a hick from the middle west and you know nothing, so you must let a seasoned woman from the big city decide, capish?
After all: all your people did was destroy your home planet and you are here at the mercy of humans, wanting to be human, because this is our planet and we haven't destroyed it yet, so we are better."
Some twisted logic, there.
Mutual respect and admiration are not a normal basis to build a loving couple. How can it be? Where's the conflict in that? We, writers, need conflict, and humans are constant generators of conflict, even if there's no need for it.
It doesn't matter the endless possibilities a power couple has to generate adventure and excitement, if there's no drama caused by the deadline to snatch the front page of the news paper the next morning. That's normal, that's something your average Joe and everybody can identify with, not some alien-Amazon crazy hanky panky. Because all we want from the power couple is their twisted sexual intercourse.
Normal is causing a bizarre global event solely to allow the alien and the human to procreate an offspring, not properly explaining how or why, then make that offspring to instantly grow almost a decade to declare him the new Superman, then discover we were better off with the old Superman.
Oh, yeah, that's normal.
I'm personally fed up with what's "normal" in the minds of fans and editors of DC Comics.

This kind of self sacrifice is unique to this power couple. They can go as far as the other can, as the other is willing to go. They both are willing to go all the way to save and protect. They don't have to worry about the safety of their partner first, they have a bigger objective: the safety of the whole planet and they would do whatever they must, not worrying if their superiors agree or if it will look good in the front page. If they can, they will lick their wounds later, their own and the other's.
Their way to show love it's not contingent to whether their personal survival is assured, they have a mission and it has nothing to do with recognition or chain of command. It isn't even related to whether they'll be there to see it afterwards or report it in the media before anybody else. They are content to think they did everything possible to achieve it. Only firefighters, service and first aid personnel can understand it: there is something bigger. Something blue and round and beautiful, and it justifies their efforts and sacrifice.
They are there for each other, but not to hinder their efforts, but to encourage them to go even further. All the way. Whatever it takes. To make each other better. Better together.

Wrong message.
I really, really, don't want to start a new controversy, but I don't care if it does.
It has occur to me that Wonderbat, besides all the logistic impediments it raises, it makes absolutely no sense in the life and upbringing of Diana of Themyscira. Her culture taught her not to trust in men and the Patriarch's World. Unfortunately, Bruce Wayne and specially Batso are the epitome of what that represents, talking about toxic masculinity, so she doesn't have any reason to even look at him in a friendly, least of all a romantic way. She can work with him as a colleague, with reservations, but not much more than that.
Besides, Bruce's critical part of his secret identity comes from posing as a disolute playboy, womanizer and alcoholic. This works for Tony Stark because he is all that. Not Bruce. How long do you think Diana will put up with that? How do you think her mother will tolerate this situation: the utmost public humiliation of her daughter by a male pig?
In better times, Diana ascended to Olympus to take her place as the Goddess of Truth.
Tumblr media
Yet, nothing about Bruce is real: his face is a mask. His body is an armor. His strength is usually enhanced by gadgets. He needs vehicles to move around. His identity is a fake, he even thinks his god given face is a fake and his mask is the real thing. He must constantly keep his fragile mind in check so he doesn't fall into madness. He needs life support to go into space or underwater. Diana, pretty much like Superman with Lane, can only go as far with him as his technology allows him to.
Yeah, you'd probably say Bruce doesn't really chase after women and doesn't really drink. How long do you think he can pretend before one of those scorched women finds out and and blows the whistle and sends Bruce's secret down the drain. People can also think Diana took pity on his personal tragedy and background and fell for him as a charity erra nd, but that doesn't work either since he's nothing but an asshole all the time.
All situations between Diana and Bruce require by unspoken accord Bruce acts like the dominant partner...just because of who he is and nobody wants his ego bruised because Wonder Woman publicly challenged his authority.
She must adapt to him, even though she's light years ahead of him. Have in mind Diana is not Clark, she doesn't giva shit about his public image and these are woke times and women must be respected, even by Batso. Ain't it right, girls?
Batso fans love these scenes
Tumblr media
A smug bruce scolding a submissive Diana. How long will modern society tolerate them? Why would she, a proud Amazon, even submit to a man weaker than her? An emotionally unstable man at that?
Answer that to me, woke girls, please.
You may say Diana abandoned her home chasing after a man. Truth is she went after her desire to knew the world and to help in a dire international conflict which promptly would've reached her home, knowing nazi ambition of wanting to conquer the whole planet. It was just a matter of time before they do it if action wasn't adopted. Diana decide to adopt it. No, it wasn't because of a man: Trevor was the catalyst, the one who opened her eyes to the global situation (Yeah: the emotional woman couldn't resist a man's charm, and had to follow him) just the excuse, so readers at the time could understand it. Diana was adamant, though, she would have no permanent relation with him until peace on Earth wasn't achieved
Tumblr media
Then why would she put up with Bruce. Because he's smarter? He's not. Because he's tougher? He's not.
Tumblr media
But he IS just human. Only human. She's a lot more than that. Marston created Wonder Woman in an age there wasn't any respect for women, yet, he made her an early femenist icon. No surprise there: he had to respond to two women at home. Some may look it like he was a dominant Alpha having two spouses to serve him. Knowing women, I think he was just the Boy-Toy of the two women and an outstanding efficient provider for their household, so they kept him.
Diana is an independent woman, even being a princess. She had no problem leaving her lavish lifestyle to pursue her goals, all alone in a hostile world, with odds unfairly against her. Bruce can't do anything without having an entourage of people serving him all the time. He's a CEO, after all. We all know how those jerks are.
All in all, the relationship between Diana and Bruce sends a wrong message about Wonder Woman and what she represents. When she's besides him, she's is no longer a strong woman but another teen fangirling for the Bat and he playing the annoyed tough male who can get all the women, so he doesn't want any.
Tumblr media
She no longer takes the decisions, because he has to be in charge all the time. She has to be at his service, so he can function. Like everything in Wayne's Manor, she must indulge his every whim or endure another one of his tantrums. She must blindly accept the bratty spoiled child he had with another woman. Not a request from his part, but an imposotion. Like I've said: she must adapt to him. He's incapable to adapt to things other of what he has already planned.
It seems like a lot to me. Why all the burden must be put on Wonder Woman? I couldn't, wouldn't accept that Wonder Woman, I can't respect her.
I no longer give a fuck about DC Comics and their stupid decisions. I care about the fans and their rather low standards, but that too isn't my problem anymore.

Stfu, snydernite! James Gunn Superman is what we needed! Not a Snyder cult inspired, injustice Superman. Kill yourself, fag!
Oh. Okay.
I've established long ago I'm not a fan of Zack Snyder. Not at all.
Still, I stand by his casting of Cavill as Supes, not what he did with him.
Gunn, on the other hand, is too desperate to distance himself from the previous versions by...doing exactly the same. The actor is okay, nut doesn't give the impression of being strong. There's some stupor in his face I don't like. Whatevs...
You need this Superman. That says more about you than I would like to know. I bet you are happy he's back to the red granny panties...
I don't want this next movie to fail because I love Supes, but I won't be too surprise when it does.
Problem with fans like you is you boast a lot, like Lane fans, but when the time comes to put your money where your mouth is...you all run to hide under the table.
Good luck and I hope this is a good movie, although it perpetuates the eternal weak image of Superman.
I'm not kiling myself any time soon. Still, time is killing us all. Slowly.
Bye.

Of course he does...
Tumblr media
Contrary to have a Superman who is from a bunch of different worlds and is very difficult to embrace, he want one his little mind can encompass and work with.
But that's not who Superman is.
That's who Lois Lane can handle. That's a Superman James Gunn can handle. But they are very limited. I don't want what Lois needs. As limites as they are, they want you to be as limited as they are. And you want it too, because it's easier. Because that's a Superman who can submitt to Batso, another human, and can't dream of being somethng else, not limited to our small human appreciations. We want a Superman who can be defined by Lois Lane, Which is not the best humanity has to offer, because he's more manegeable, but Kal-El is so much more than that. He's a being of three worlds, Krypton, Earth and whatever comes in between.
My Superman is a being who's always pushing himself beyond to discover new ways to achieve his goal to protect this World, so it don't suffer the sad destiny his tragic homeworld of Krypton did. Which we are well in the path to repeat. But he, as Wonder Woman do, won't want to force it upon us. They want us to want to realize our mistakes and want to correct our path for ourselves, however difficult it may seem, because if we won't, it's useless.
In short, I don't want just another Superman movie. I want THE Superman movie. That which redeemes the Man of Steel forever as the greatest hero. As long as he tethers himself to a human partner, he will always be limited by our own limitations. He knows our limitations, but he needs to work around them, not indulge in them to be effective.
Movies is a universe i which they want a situation to be solved as long as it can have a sequel, which means it won-t be solves at all, only partially, to ensure a continuation. If we kill the villain, it will be back for the sequel, if we destroy the doomsday machine, it will have a backup, to menace the World again. It all depends on how appealing those things are.
In short, dontyou trust in what a director wants: he will always want to assure his work is safe for the future, not what would bring satisfaction to the viewer. He will try to convince the viewer he has their best interest at heart, he doesn´t. He´s not your friend. He´s a business man.

Let me tell you:
I do prefer Clark (or rather his writers) ignoring some of the occasional guest stars of the past than having a manor invaded by a horde of annoying teens because they won't want to let the dead stay dead. Bruce is NOT a loving father. Like all rich people, he needs someone/s to boss around and assist him all the time, even in his heroic escapades. Clark is a farmer in spirit, used to to get his hands dirty and grab the teat of the cow by himself.
Lane has the monopoly of annoying secondary character, why you want to add more, poor Clark? I even set for some reappearing to another guest performance than staying waiting for something interesting to do. If you want a character with nothing important to do, there you have Jon Kent.
By the way, when they brought back Jor-El was to defile the nice and heroic image we had of him. No, thanks.
