Danny finds out about Batmans contingency plans and is 100% on board and supports it.
The rest of the JL is confused
"Didn't I tell you about the alternate timeline where everyone I loved died and I went on a murder spree? Because that happened. And also I've been mind controlled before, not fun. He needs plans to take me, us down."
The rest of the JL finds that kinda depressing.

this might be just me screaming into the void and it is nearly 2am and i have a migrain
i've seen a ton of people talk about the fact that alastor is far friendlier to women than he is to men and be like "oh, it's his mommy/daddy issues showing" or some other thing among these lines (and I think they might have some credit, i don't exactly disagree on some accounts), but hear me out
this is a pattern i've seen before irl more than once and it's usually (almost always) not cute?
like, the whole "he's only nice to women/confrontational towards men" is something i've seen a lot in manipulative men (i love alastor as a character, but you can't tell me manipulative doesn't fit his description)
they are "nice" to women and they'll seek sympathy from women because most of them see women as harmless, less of a threat, weaker.
they'll see women as people they can control somehow (usually by manipulation)
while they'll be confrontational to men because, socially, they have been taught that men are "equals", so they do pose some sort of threat
since they don't see men as people they can control, they will usually try to drive other men away
there are, of course, exceptions, like when they are nice to men they view as non-threatening and confrontational to women they see as threatening (and, yk, when it bad for them if they take that course of action)
and that whole description fits alastor very well
He's "nice" to Charlie because he sees her as someone he can manipulate and eventually gain power from
He mostly doesn't care about Husk and Angel, because he has control of Husk and Angel is not only owned by Valentino (and thus non-threatening) but he is be viewed as mostly harmless by most people
Then men, like Lucifer and Vox, he is confrontational towards. He challenges Lucifer and tries to drive him away from Charlie since the time they meet because not only does he face a very big threat to Alastor, but (since society has a tendency to see women as belonging to someone) he might also see Charlie as belonging to Lucifer or under his control, since he is her father.
He's dismissive towards Vaggie (because she does pose some sort of threat as someone who influences charlie's decisions who is not afraid to call him out on his bullshit) and he does his deals with Charlie away from her
there's probably other things i'm forgetting
Again, I love Alastor, and I don't dismiss that this behavior can, too, be caused by a backstory, but the shoe fits way too well for me to ignore tbh

If Hadestown has a moral, she says, then it’s “you have to try, you have to have hope, not because success is a given – it’s not. Orpheus fails. We heroicise” – here she breaks off to apologise that jet lag has led to her making up words – “we heroicise Orpheus not because he succeeds but because he tries, and that endeavour alone is worthwhile. How to live, and not merely survive, is to believe things could change.”
Anaïs Mitchell on her musical Hadestown: 'I worked on it so long I was afraid I'd never make another record'

Danny Phantom fandom is a different type of brainrot fr
Because there aren't shipping wars or discourse over who is the "most problematic character". Everyone is just trying to figure what the fuck is the lore of the Ghost Zone and ghost nature with multiple speculations and interpretations and spending hours discussing them because canon lore is confusing at best and super contradictory at worst. And fans trying to figure different ways to fix said lore and the characters arc and everything else until fanon and canon become interchangeable

I love that they were so scared of Ben and Rook's dynamic that they made an episode in which Ben meets Rook's family and planet and they felt the need to name it "Bros in space"

So I was thinking about the running joke that, where it for Ben, he wouldn't transform in any alien that wasn't for humongoussaur so it's a good thing the Omnitrix malfunctions and gives him other aliens. But, like, what if, considering the Feedback situation (in which basically Ben was transforming into Feedback so much that everyone was worried about how it would affect him in the long run and then he lost Feedback), Azimuth programmed the Omnitrix so Ben couldn't constantly transform into aliens he has preference for.

Tbh, ik it felt stupid when we had to do this, but this is actually a good thing. (It's not always used on the right occasions, tho)
I can give multiple reasons, but the first that comes to mind is that it improves reading comprehension. A lot of people have trouble identifying that a sentence means the same as another just because it uses different words (is paraphrased).
Next reason is basically that a lot of people just memorize the material so they can pass the tests and then forget about it. When you have to paraphrase a piece of information, you're more likely to actually understand this piece of information (because you have to understand it to some degree to know you're phrasing it correctly).
As I said, it's not always used correctly. Per the example, you can't really paraphrase a death date (but, also per the example, you can paraphrase the circumstances).
(TBH a huge problem in teaching — that, as a teacher, I've seen in my colleagues — is that teachers don't know how to or that they should paraphrase information in a way students understand. Sometimes it's because they themselves have memorized the material and don't know how to teach it any other way because of that.)
