relationship status: this soul is an independent one, I like living by myself.
fav color: look, on the one hand I always want to DROWN in a really dark green, but I've also spent the last couple of months being OBSESSED with that kind of desert art duo of pink and pale blue teamed with a white or dark green (think Miami track colours for those people who can follow that specific thought process through, or the kind of colours you get if you google palm springs desert art).
song stuck in ur head: Let Me Drown by Orville Peck / Dwight and Duley by Cris Williamson (at first it was admiration // he found a friend in something less than good // he comes on the regular // he comes on the regular now) - I think it's actually a song about a horse during lockdown but as no lyrics exist on the internet for it then I'll just make my own assumptions thank u
last song u listened to: Funeral by Phoebe Bridgers
3 fav foods: Look, I like pretty much everything so narrowing it down is hard but Ken Hom has a beef green curry with aubergine in his old Ken Hom Cooks Thai cookbook and it's by far the best green curry I've ever had outside a restaurant, so. That. There's a place near me that does a breakfast bao, which is basically a sausage patty and egg and hash brown and sriracha in a bao and I don't want to throw down the location pin too specifically but if you know, you know. And my mum's lasagne with her bechamel sauce is my favourite thing to eat and it's always my first choice for my birthday meal (however close that falls to my actual birthday).
last google: um. well. before sriracha so I could figure out how to spell it, it was 'anatomical penis diagram' for this Max/Daniel fic I'm writing (don't ask), except my unexpected learning was that dicks have a muscle called the bulbospongiosus muscle, and -- aside from sounding like a pokemon -- I didn't know THAT existed before, so we've all learned something today.
dream trip: Right now I am too sick to travel, which sucks, particularly as I have a LOT of air miles from some judicious use of an air miles credit card for the whole of lockdown + beyond BUT the fantasy would be a) come hang out with friends in America again, it's been too long, and too many plans got put on hold years ago, b) some ridiculous train journey out of a mystery novel, like the Orient Express or whatever, some fancy sleeper cabin where porters carry my luggage about, and c) I'd love to go back to Dubrovnik, I loved it there even though i was very kidney-sick through that whole trip and should probably have been at home in hospital (jazz hands). That trip was years and years ago. It would be nice to go back (less sick this time). And like a million more trips because the world outside is fascinating.
anything i want right now: Be less unwell would be nice (and obvious) but other than that, the sky outside is SO pink and pretty right now, super lovely sunset. Unfortunately no one told me that moving so close to the sea would mean you had to wash your windows so fucking often because of the salt build up, so I'm looking at this incredible sunset through the grainiest, blurriest window. Magically salt-free windows. That's an achievable one at least.
tagging @easterwings (because I owe them an email and this might remind me to actually press send), @astorytotellyourfriends, and @allwaswell16, my goblin buddy.

Just how confident are you that your home is secure? You can never be too careful about the security of your home. Use different strategies to keep your home safe. This article is a great start.
If you've recently bought a home, make sure you change the locks and alarm pass codes. Many people just take these items as is and don't give them another thought, but consider that just about anyone could have a copy of the key or the pass code. That can include neighbors who you don't really know. Be safe and change out both when you buy. Make sure you trust your house cleaner before you provide them with a key. You should not let cleaners have your keys if you feel like you cannot trust them, or if they will be working in your home while you are away. Make sure you check references. Contact your local Better Business Bureau to find out more about the reputation of the cleaner you hired. Cameras are a great way to protect your home and family. If you make the cameras noticeable, just having them on your property is enough to deter many criminals. High quality video surveillance systems have gone down in price in recent years and are affordable for almost any budget now. Changing the locks on your home can be a great way to increase security. Locks should always be changed when buying a new home. There could be numerous people that had copies of the keys, from the real estate agent to the previous owners. Locks should also be changed whenever your keys become lost, or after a break-up in a relationship. Do not leave an extra key under your doormat or any other place that a burglar would look for it. If you know that you have a tendency to misplace your keys, it would be a good idea to leave an extra set with one of your neighbors, or you can leave them inside your car. When doing yard work or fixes on the outside of your home, be sure to put ladders and tools away when you are done. If you keep out ladders, thieves can easily climb them to get into your home. At the same time, they could use tools, like hammers, to break your windows. Always make sure your doors are locked. Every time you open your windows to air out the house, go around and double check the locks in the evening. Many people forget to do this, and the reality is, most burglars gain entry through windows and doors. Lock everything, no matter what time of day it is. If you are throwing away the box an expensive item came in, wait until trash day to put the box out. Having these boxes around will let thieves know the type of items that are inside your home. Every bit of wiring for your alarm system needs to be well hidden or else it will be easy to cut. When installing a system yourself, this is important to keep in mind. Tuck it away within walls so that no one can get at it to shut the system down. If you have to leave home for an extended period of time, do things to make the home look occupied. Put lights on timers so that they turn on in the evening and off at bedtime. Do the same with the television or radio to really make your home appear lived in. Placing motion sensor lights around the outside of your house can be a great way to deter prowlers. These lights stay off unless something or someone enters your yard, and then they light up enabling you to see who's out there. Criminals prefer to work in the shadows, so this can be an effective home security strategy to use. Before you give a security company employee access to your home, make sure they're in uniform and that they present acceptable identification. Posing as a security professional is an excellent way for an experienced thief to get inside your house and plan a less-friendly return visit. This is a danger to your belongings and your family. Be careful to avoid any potential dangers. Unfortunately, every home is susceptible to threats. Luckily, there are measures that can be taken to keep your home as safe as possible. 娛樂城 should have given you some ideas to work with. Use them wisely to secure your home.

ive just woken from a dream in which i visited a village up high on some hills. Most of the houses were connected by bridges, except for one which was abandoned and incomplete. On the first day I moved into this house, went about the village collecting materials and foraging and began to complete its construction.
In the night I was someplace else; I was in a child's bedroom (my own, in fact). There, a father spoke to me of how work had made it difficult for his family to stay connected. He also showed me that something was wrong, many of his child's things had to be replaced. He gave me one of the toys telling me i would need it.
On the second day I am back at my new home. I put away the gift, look around at the things in my room, looking different now, and answer a knock at the door. A kindly old man in a red dress with white polkadots it there, introducing himself as having wisdom about spirits and time, and is requesting boarding. I am happy to let him in, recognising him as an old friend. I gather more materials and the house is fully completed.
On the third day we are now also at my real home, in the swamp, however we are still in the village on the hill. I answer the door again and it is the same old man, an alternative iteration of him if things had gone different. They are happy to see eachother. We talk, I go back to the bedroom of the child where the father explains to me that something had irradiated the whole room. I see tiny burn marks and sun-bleach patches on almost everything in the room, though you do not notice them from a distance.
Before the next day begins I am back at home, still night time. The first old man asks me to accompany him yo take out the trash. When we got to the bins at my real homs, he pointed to the woods behind the swamp, showing me that a spirit like entity was there. There was a tree that had not been there before, and it looked wrong. It was tall like a pine but stalky like a palm. It swayed wildly from side to side, and I could tell it was mildly annoyed by our presence.
The old man tells me there are a lot of entities out tonight and we should go back inside. He takes the side door, but I take the long way back to yhe front door because I never use the side door. When I get back inside and reenter the house on the hill, both old men are there, laughing and ribbing one another and the father. We have a meal, they all sleep.
I see something come to the front of my house through the window and dorce itself through the locked door. It's body is three cardinals stuck together at their side, with 4 feet, 2 for middle one for some - and the leftmost has a double beak. Though it cannot harm me, it is enraged and attacks me. I run through the house with this bird, and my father sees me in the living room, concerned and perturbed. I throw the bird out the side door and wake up.

Harrison Wells (Eobard Thawne) x Reader x Harry Wells: Wells-Thawne Family Holiday Headcanons
Tumblr media
*A/N: The picture/edit/gif does not belong to me. It belongs to its rightful owner.
**Please don’t forget to comment, like, and reblog. It means a lot to content creators of all kinds!
***I’d also like to thank @grimtamlain-writes for being my beta reader and for @tacowells101 for helping me figure out a few things for the headcanon.
Word Count: 3075
MASTERLIST
Wells-Thawne Series
Disclaimer: In some time point where the Wells boys are pulled from the void and somehow end up being part of the family. Have some holiday crack and comedy
The snow’s out, coating the area in a white and cozy blanket
Jackson and Thaddeus are out creating mayhem with Jesse in a snowball fight, huts and forts are created and everything
Vulgar language is being thrown around between the three (but they mean well and love each other)
Harry’s drinking his black coffee while standing outside in their quiet world
He’s not too bothered by the cold
Eobard’s encouraged to join only to get nailed in the face by Jack
Jack: Right on target
And before Eo can even retaliate the young adults shout to him that “powers aren’t allowed” - so Jack’s hit was purely skill
Which has Harry laughing his ass off at Thawne... which earned him a snowball to the face, knocking his glasses off and making Harry drop his mug of coffee
THIS MEANS WAR
Harry is mainly targeting Eobard - he would never throw a snowball at Jesse... and the Earth-2 genius quickly retracts that thought once his daughter dumps snow down his back
Eobard breaks the “no powers rule”
Eo: I’m the villain, I don’t abide by any rules
EVERY PERSON TO THEMSELVES - ALL HANDS ON DECK, MAN YOUR STATIONS, NO ONE IS SAFE FROM THE SNOW
You’d rather sit inside by the fire with a toasty cup of hot choco with peppermint candy in the delightful liquid and a new fantasy novel from the stack of books that you suckered Eo and Harry into getting you for your birthday that you have
HR and Sherloque had already stopped by for the month before going back on their multiverse adventure
HR’s been spinning a story based off of Sherloque’s cases on each earth - even mentioning the encounters with his version of Mori-Arte
Nash is nowhere to be seen yet
He’ll probably make himself known via a window or something
The adventurer is still adamant on not using a door
Sherloque’s on the couch, case files scattered on the coffee table while HR’s beside you making some edits to his manuscripts
Yeah, the three of you weren’t going to join in on the Icy Mayhem that is a snowball fight outside
December 24-25th (Holiday season)
Wells-Thawne Family (Team Umbress): Harry, You, Eobard, Jack, Thad, Jesse
Uncles: HR, Sherloque, Nash, and Harrison (reluctantly took the title)
The tree went up the week of the holiday season – in this household your family does not put up holiday decorations as early as other people do
Like who puts up decorations in October/November??? – because if that’s the case Halloween decorations should go up in the beginning of September
Different kinds of holiday decorations are up, not just the ‘general Christmas ones’
Hot chocolate concoctions are served (with the choice of alcohol)
Someone may have thrown a coal at Harry’s head thinking he was Eobard
And now Harry has a concussion
AND FROM WHERE DID THAT COAL COME FROM???  HR. Nash. (No one knows)
Nash definitely entered through the window (YOU CAN’T CONVINCE ME OTHERWISE; HE DOESN’T DO DOORS)
Eo: For the last time, use the fucking door. I will freaking push you out the window next time
Nash: You wouldn't dare
Harry: Yes, he fucking would dumbass
HR: it's not hard to use the door
You: Nash, you’re being extra again and that's reserved for me and Sherloque
Eo: and me!
Eobard is naturally extra AF (Look at all his plans and monologues and entrances – he just screams extra bitch energy)
You end up cleaning the snow that Nash tracked in – while muttering that he’s a dumb bitch for bringing snow into your home
Jack and Thad are telling Jesse how in their future you taught them about all the religions that associate with December, that Christianity wasn’t the only one that celebrated on that day
Jack: Mom would have a little spiel about the 15 religions that celebrate their respective holidays in December
Thad: Ashura, Bodhi Day, Hanukkah, Yalda, Yule/Winter Solistice, Zoroastrians observe the death of the prophet Zarathushtra
You are silently proud that you raised two cultured and religiously-tolerant kids
I’m just saying, Sherloque is baking in the kitchen – he’s got assorted goods and desserts before starting on the dinner with you and Jack
He has banned anyone and everyone from entering until he's done
Thad gets Jack a Percy Jackson book (as a joke gift) - Jack is going to murder his brother
HR: Hey is it just me or do you look like that Percy guy?
Cue Thad laughing his ass off and Jesse giggling
Jack: I am going to murder both of you
You: Hey, ah, uh no. Eo's job, but besides that point, not on the holidays
Jack, in retaliation, bought Thad a baby Flash onesie
Thad: What the fuck?
Jack: That is for being annoying
Eo is low-key trying to be the cool dad and Harry thinks he's the coolest dad
Harrison would humor your holiday invitation just observing and silently judging sometimes
He would not bring Tess – especially if Eobard’s present
You don't want to pressure him into conversing with everyone else; like if he wants to stay in his own little bubble and slowly mingle that's fine
After a drink of eggnog and chatting with Jack and Thad and Jesse Harrison loosens up
They sucker him into a conversation – he’s more ok with talking to Jesse and Jack and Thad, then he'll open up more to talk to all the guys
To which HR is just going over the moon because now he’s also got another new Wells buddy
Harrison is oddly weirded out by how nice HR is, but appreciate the kindness nonetheless
HR tried his very hardest not to consume as much eggnog as he had last time because he got super drunk last time and was the cutest fucking thing in the world
He wasn’t going to get this drunk early into the night not yet at least
Eo is trying to avoid Harrison because this most likely would have happened
Eo: yeah, sorry for killing your future wife and stealing your body...
Harrison: Umm....you're not forgiven. I want my face back
Eo: Bummer (Cowabummer dude, if you know then you know)
That was the hypothetical conversation that ran in your head - And then you're like "yea no… better they just avoid each other"
Nash definitely snuck didn’t sneak into the kitchen to steal some cookies and food just because he hasn’t eaten all day
Also stole bought some expensive bourbon for the dinner (which is a Wells classic alcohol choice)
You end up hearing angry French curses from the kitchen and Nash running out with a smirk to which you facepalm as an angry Frenchman walks out with a whisk in hand and flour on his apron with his hair tied in a man-bun
(How many fucking times do I have to tell your stupid ass to stay out of the kitchen? All you do is pick at what I'm making which throws my focus off. Do you know how fucking hard it is to make gnache with you hovering around like that??? I swear I'm going to dismember you!)
You and HR have to physically hold Sherloque back from attempting to shove said whisk up Nash’s ass for being said ass
Nash is flicked Sherloque off and let’s just say that Harry and Eo now needed to help restrain the angered detective
Sherloque: I will fucking end you!
Jack and Thad are trying their hardest to not laugh their asses off while Jesse is sipping her eggnog, amused that her dad’s doppelgangers are so weird
Harrison is just drinking his bourbon and rolling his eyes at the chaos
Ok, but once Sherloque finishes in the kitchen he ropes the three young adults into helping set the food out
The food is immaculately made – a full buffet in the kitchen for everyone to pick and choose what to have on their dish before heading to the dining room
And before dinner could end, you and Sherloque come out with a birthday cake for Harry – who had to keep himself from rolling his eyes because he knew you this was your doing
Everyone’s singing “Happy Birthday” – you can even hear a few ‘asshole’s and ‘dumbass’s being thrown into the song in place of Harry’s name which has you giggling
The cake is magnificent with the assorted desserts
You give Harry sweet kisses once he finally blows out the candles (to which Eo had to not pout because he wants kisses too) and which Happy Birthday against his lips and he just can’t not smile
This was definitely a birthday worth remembering
He got so many gifts (mainly from Jack and Thad and Jesse), but they’re under the tree so he’s gotta wait until either 12 am or tomorrow morning to open gifts like everyone else
But really, he wants to unwrap you… Eo won’t let him without his participation though
Two dicks are better than one
Secret Santa Time! (Wrapped gifts are separate from these gifts under the holiday tree)
Eo: Received a Reverse Flash funko pop
Jesse wanted to make him something special
She had asked you subtly if he'd ever accepted handmade gifts to which you said she’d have to find out herself
Jesse being the genius that she is worked her magic in collecting the necessary materials and hammering away at a funko-like design
Eo would be lying if he said his heart didn't melt at the small gift
He totally is going to have it on his office desk
HR: Received an improved recording pen and a special leather-bound notebook
Harry found out that his last one ended up getting mainly used by Team Flash since it doubled as HR’s Transmogrifier to blend in on Earth-1
This new pen has multiple features though such as transcribing what HR had recorded onto the notebook Harry had designed
HR: Aww, Hard Hat, you do care
Harry rolls his eyes, but smile that HR (who is honestly practically his brother longer than the others) enjoyed his gift
Harry wanted to make the writing and editing process easier for HR, also as some form of payment for taking care of Jesse when she stayed on Earth-1
Jesse: Received her own flash ring
Her suit is micro-compressed in a ring customized to her liking, but activates similarly like Eobard’s and Barry’s (though Jesse did harshly decline on a speedster onesie)
Nash and Harry had worked on this project together
The adventurer only smirked when her eyes lit up
Jesse: No, you didn’t…
Nash: Who’s the greatest uncle of all time?
Harry: Shut up, you can’t take all the credit. I worked on it too
Nash: Yes, but did you think about it before me?
Harry: Yes! I was already working on a prototype for MY DAUGHTER
Nash: The technicalities aren’t worth discussing, a gift is a gift in the end and the thought is all that matters
Harry: You barely think as it is!
You: Received a photo album
It was from HR
Within the photo album was a collection of photos with little quotes or timestamps since the boys had come back and this family had fully come together
You won’t deny that a tear slipped from your eyes when you saw baby pictures of your boys
HR had Jackson and Thaddeus run back to their time and make replica’s of certain photos that they felt You, Harry, and Eobard needed to see back in the present time
You: This… I… Thank you, HR
HR: And hey, we’re all in it too. Our little dysfunction family with handsome doppelgangers – each with a song in their hearts
You noticed even a picture of Harrison and Tess was in the album…
Also You received… some sexy, black and lacy lingerie
You’re immediately hiding the gift from catching the eyes of everyone else (Eo and Harry totally saw it)
But this wasn’t from Harry and Eo… it was HR with good intentions
Eo *inside his head*: Okay but thank you for buying that though…
Harry *inside his head*: We’d have to wait for either everyone to pass out to use that or when the house is completely vacant. The latter idea is safer, but the former is much more tempting
Eo and Harry share a knowing look with each other, smug smirks when you look back at them with heated cheeks
HR gave it to you as an extra gift once the kids were out of the room because you've traumatized them enough
You: How’d you even get my size?
HR: I asked Sherloque
You: HOW THE HELL DOES SHERLOQUE KNOW MY MEASUREMENTS???
HR: Well, he is a detective, isn’t he?
You: … I hate you guys
HR: No, you don’t
Nash: Received a new, durable adventure jacket
Its meant to battle the harsh climates he finds himself into when he’s out adventuring
Jack smiled when his uncle seemed content with the material and how it went with his gear
The young genius recalled how in his present time; his uncle would complain about how light the jacket was in certain mulitverses
Jackson also made a new memory chip with enhanced energy features for Nash to use while exploring
Nash: Not bad, kid. Not bad
Jack: Received new specialized dual guns
Eobard had gotten his hands on his son’s specialized pulse guns
Instead of making upgrades to the weapons, Eo made these dual guns from scratch with refined metals and enhanced materials
He had increased the firing rate as well as amplifying the power of the pulse immitted
Eo: You might need to get used to the recoil from these. The ones you designed was pretty advanced, to say the least, but improvements will always need to be made
Jack *smiles*: Thanks dad, what else does it do?
Eo: How’d you know I’d add some more features to it?
Jack: I’m not your son for just shits and giggles
Eobard showed him how the dual guns are able to shift mechanically into short swords in case he need it for hand-to-hand combat
Eo: Should you choose to, you can activate the button along the side of the blade’s handles to fire off a pulse shockwave towards enemies, or inside if you’ve stabbed them
Sherloque: Received a Shogi Board
Both Sherloque and Eo are drawn to the Japanese-styled game the detective unwrapped
Sherloque: Zhe Game of Generals
You: Shogi was the earliest chess variant to allow captured pieces to be returned to the board by the capturing player. I thought you’d like it since it always has your head thinking
Sherloque: Care for a game, Zhawne?
Eo: Just know that I won’t be holding back
Harry and Harrison are also inclined to playing, already watching and looking through the discarded Shogi manual
You: This should keep a majority of Wells preoccupied
Thad: Received a Polaroid Camera
He’s completely over the moon over it
Sherloque ruffled his hair, telling him that not only is photography a breath-taking art style, but it captures moments that reach deep within the photographer’s heart
Best believe that Thaddeus will take multiple pictures holiday night
Thad: Jack, you’re making that ugly face again
Jack: It’s my face, asshole!
(IF YOU KNOW THE REFERENCE, I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER)
Harry: Received a black carbon fiber suit
Thaddeus grinned widely as his dad eyed the suit in his hands, humoring his son
Harry: Care to explain, Thad?
Thad: The suit should protect you if you’re to go out and do all your jump-slide firing action you like to do. The carbon fibers are made from the same material as mom’s carbon suit and because Mom’s an expert at carbon manipulation she’ll be able to activate the suits defensive measure
Harry: Someone on comms will be able to tell her if I’m being attacked then, which should minimize any damage I take
Thad: You shouldn’t be hurt too badly – the carbon in your suit can be easily arranged in a diamond’s carbon struck structure as well as it can be infused with carbide. So, you should be protected against absolute cold temperatures
Harry: this is a last resort, I’ve more of a long-distance shooter
Thad: I know, but you can never be too sure with some of the metas and villains out there
Harry just grins, knowing that his son worked extra hard on the suit to make it safe for him to use
Harrison: Received a finely wrapped gift box from you
Looking inside, Harrison’s eyes widened at the gifts inside the box – he hadn’t been expecting anything
A tailored silver watch that perfectly matched a women’s silver jewelry set of diamond earrings and necklace
You: It’s for you and Tess
Harrison: …You didn’t have to
You: Yeah, but you’re a part of this family, even if you don’t want to be. I never got to meet Tess, but if things had worked out in some weird timeline way, she would have been part of our peculiar family. We’d be happy to have you over more for the other holidays or even if you want to drop by and hang out
The night ends with everyone passing out in the living room on the couches and the ground by the fireplace
Multiple pillows and blankets littered the living space – you were cuddled up between Eo and Harry on the blanketed ground
Nash, HR, and Sherloque took the couches
Jesse had her own loveseat
Jack and Thad were a bit further from the gentle flames of the fireplace
Everyone had been too tired to retire to their respective rooms in the Wells-Thawne home
Harrison had left a half hour earlier, needing to spend Tess’s last minutes before the accident happened that month
He wondered how she’d react to the gifts his “extended family” had sent to them
Harrison: Tess, I’m home
Tess: Welcome home, honey. Oh, and with gifts, I see. Lucky you
Harrison: They’re for us
Tess: Is that so? I haven’t met your extended family yet
Harrison: I doubt we’ll find the time, my love

Chocolatey Giggles - Kiro’s Birthday 2021
Author’s note: happy birthday, you big goofball. I love you so much.
the little scene I mention with Lucien is based off @dreamer-hyun‘s WONDERFUL fic called ‘watch the universe expand’. Go read it, it’s amazing.
Word Count: 1580
Warnings: brief mention of unrequited love concerning Lucien, unedited bc im toired
Masterlist
Tumblr media
Kiro had awoken before her; he was expecting sunlight to be streaming in through their windows, casting a glow over her soft but he was instead met with a rumble of thunder and a flash of lightning.
He must have slept the night through, but with the worried lines creasing her forehead, Kiro knew she hadn’t slept well. He gently pulled the covers up over her shoulders and pressed a kiss to her forehead before getting out of the bed and stretching.
Even though it was his birthday, Kiro still had to work. The life of an idol never stopped, even when he wish his Evol was more like Victor’s; Kiro would love being able to stop time so he could have a little world all to himself and the woman he loves. He kept telling himself that the faster he went and got the recording finalized and perfect, he’d be back in her arms where Kiro felt the safest.
So he snuck one final peek at her face. The worried lines had fallen away and she looked peaceful; it was the perfect image to etch in his brain before he saw her once again.
The driver was already waiting for Kiro as he came down his front steps. He didn’t bother changing; he knew he should but he really just wanted even more of a reason to head on home as soon as possible.
Kiro brushed his driver away as he reached to open the idol’s door. “Please, I’m perfectly capable of opening my door.”
“Of course sir. I’ll get in the drivers seat then.”
Settling himself in his seat, Kiro pulled out of his phone to send a text.
Miss Chips! Today’s a wonderful day! Don’t worry about the rain, the best part of celebrating Kiro Day is being in the arms of the person he loves most, and that’s you! I’ll be home before you miss me too long.
Kiro hoped that seeing that message would put a smile on her face when she woke up. One of the ones where she’d smile sleepily while still rubbing her eyes and seeing the slow way her face lit up always brought strength and warmness to Kiro’s heart.
As the rain pattered on, Kiro watched the raindrops race down the window and placed bets every time on which one would win to kill time.
Tumblr media
A ding from her phone brought her out of a restless sleep, the side of the bed next to her was cold but judging from the imprint on the pillow, Kiro had only left maybe ten minutes before. The storm last night had been noisy, and she didn’t sleep well through them. She even briefly wondered if Lucien did okay through the storm.
Before she and Kiro got together, she and Lucien would stay up late on stormy nights, only a wall between their backs as they talked on the phone through stories about fictionalized worlds. She didn’t realize it then, but Lucien told her more about himself in those stories than he ever told her to her face.
The storm connected them, and now it felt like the biggest disconnect in the world not to have his calming voice whispering to her until the sun started to rise. It wasn’t that they couldn’t talk, but he had distanced himself since she and Kiro had gotten together; she didn’t blame him either. He loved her. She loved him too, just in a different way.
She wouldn’t change anything, though. Not even for the whole world, because Kiro was her world and that would mean potentially losing him in the change.
Her phone made another sound, reminding her of the message that roused her from the light sleep she had slipped in after waiting for the sun to arise. Kiro had texted and it was a message that warmed her heart and made her feel a bit more awake.
Rubbing her eyes, she set out for the kitchen. There was coffee still in the coffee pot from when Kiro made it and she poured some in a mug before pulling out the cake box she had hidden from Kiro in an empty sealable bag of peas and carrots. He wouldn’t dare eat those on his own, so she figued it’d be a safe place to hide the mix to surprise Kiro for his birthday. As long as Savin didn’t escort him in, she and her love would be able to eat enough cake until they crashed on their couch from a sugar rush later on.
Baking the cake was mindless, the hum of the mixer calmed her nervous coffee jitters and by the time it was in the oven, she was snuggled under warm blankets on the couch. The coffee didn’t keep her awake for long and the slow drops of rain against the roof was enough to lull her back to sleep.
She woke the second time because the fire alarm started screaming. She couldn’t place where it came from at first but as soon as she spotted the smoking oven, she rushed over and pulled the burning cake pan from the oven.
Dropping the hot metal into the sink, she rushed to open the windows and clear out the smoke.
“Miss Chips? I’m hom- WAH! What’s that smell?” Kiro walked through the door, choking on the smoke as Apple Box ran to him, jumping up and landing his paws on Kiro’s shoulders.
“I burnt something!” She cried out, grabbing a handheld fan and trying to push the smoke towards the open window.
Kiro gently removed Apple Box from his shoulders and grabbed a magazine, helping her to fan the rest of the smoke out. The fire alarm had stopped screaming and the kitchen was starting to smell like burnt cake and rain, a weird combination but not an unpleasing scent.
Kiro peered into the sink and laughed. “Did you try to bake again? You know what happened to the cookies!” She had tried to bake him cookies to snack on during a plane ride a few weeks ago and no matter how long they were in the oven, they refused to cook. Kiro left with no snacks and she was left with un-cookable cookie dough.
“Shh,” she pouted, walking over to Kiro and wrapping her arms around her from behind. “I just wanted to do something nice for your birthday and it’s ruined.”
He turned, hugging her head close to his chest. “Kiro Day isn’t ruined!” Kiro kissed the crown of her head. “Just having you here like this is enough for me.” It was quiet for a moment, they stood wrapped in each other and swaying to the gentle pitter patter of the rain. “Besides, the cake isn’t ruined either.”
“Um,” she blinked, looking up at him. “It’s kinda burnt.” “Hear me out, but I saw on Tik Tok that if you mix cake with frosting and put them in balls and freeze them, they can be cake pops after you dip them in chocolate! We could do that!”
“That’s… actually genius, Mister Kiro! Good job!” She bounced up on her toes and smacked a kiss on his cheek before breaking out from his grip. “Let’s start!”
That’s how they ended up in standing side by side in the kitchen. She was on a stool and watched as Kiro guided the handheld mixer around the burnt cake and chocolate frosting.
“Now we just have to roll them into balls!” Kiro said, and she snickered as he dipped his hand in the bowl and got a clump of the messy cake.
They giggled together as they rolled each individual cake pop and every once in a while one would hip bump the other, which would throw them into another fit of giggles.
Once they had popped the cake in the freezer, they plopped on the couch and cozied up together. His arm was around her shoulder and her head was on his shoulder. Kiro draped a blanket over both of their laps and Cello jumped up and curled into her lap. Apple Box sat on Kiro’s feet which made the both of them giggle.
“I’m sorry you didn’t sleep well last night.” He said, kissing her forehead softly. She responded with a kiss of her own, placed right on the side of his throat.
“It’s fine, I had a nap earlier.” She didn’t question how Kiro knew she had a restless night; he always could tell from one look at her. He claimed once it was because her eyes didn’t sparkle as much. “I’m sorry I ruined your birthday cake,”  She picked up her head then and choked back a giggle.
“What is it?” Kiro asked, his eyebrows furrowing which just made the chocolate on his nose that much funnier.
“Hold still,” she replied, leaning over to grab her phone from the coffee table and snapping a picture of his confused face, covered with chocolate. She showed him then, and he scrambled for a napkin. “That’s going on Moments!” She declared.
“Miss Chips, don’t you dare!” Kiro’s quick fingers tickled at her stomach and sides, causing more laughter to bubble up. “If you do that, Savin will kill me!”
“...Too late!” She cried before she escaped his tickling. “Happy birthday Kiro, I love you.”
“Thank you, Miss Chips, for spending Kiro Day with me!” He replied before touching her sides softly this time and pulling her in to share a sweet, frosting tasting kiss.

schnee week (schneek!) day 3: weiss multiship
hey, everyone! so in between other fics, i’ve been chipping away at that HoM sequel — aka Schneekos Fic™ — and i’m superrr pumped to actually finish CH. 1 eventually and post it for real lmao, but for now!! please enjoy a preview :’))) <3
~ ~
PEARL OF ATLAS (Heart of Menagerie sequel) [preview]
ch. 1, “Thief from Thieves”
There were other, more pressing concerns, of course, but Weiss realized, collapsing into her seat and staring out at the crowded platform, that it was her first time on a train.
In Atlas, she’d always had her father’s airships to whisk her away from place to place. Well, granted she had the permission. Now, though, all of it, the etiquette, the approval (more often a lack thereof), that glittering birdcage of rules—it all seemed so unforgivably stupid. Like there’d never been a point to any of it. So, yes, it was her first time on a train. Her first time in Argus. Most surprising of all, her first time running away, though not, however, her first time telling a somewhat easy lie to her father’s face to do it.
She curled her hand around the cold, smooth object nestled deep in her coat pocket. It was her first official heist, too. And it wasn’t exactly petty theft.
Pyrrha’s long ponytail swung into view, and then the hint of a smile, quick and reassuring. “You should try to get some sleep on the way there,” she said, her knee softly knocking Weiss’s as she settled in the seat across from her. “Mistral is pretty far.”
Pyrrha was only looking out for her. She seemed to have taken up a bad habit of doing that. But Weiss couldn’t imagine being able to shut her eyes for a moment, not with something so precious—so dangerous—clinging to the palm of her hand. Not with the blur of unfamiliar faces around her.
Weiss sank into the oversized coat, the collar rising to her ears. “I’m not tired,” she mumbled, though admittedly, after the sleepless couple of days she’d had in Argus, she was starting to feel those first few tugs on her eyelids.
To be honest, Weiss still wasn’t quite sure what to make of her impromptu Mistralian guide. Slash bodyguard. Slash, she supposed, accomplice. Though they did make somewhat of a conspicuous pair—Pyrrha the hometown hero, Weiss the runaway heiress of the Schnee Dust Company. News like that traveled faster than smugglers’ airships, after all.
She counted herself lucky Pyrrha hadn’t dragged her off to the Atlesian base in Argus the moment she’d spied the Schnee family symbol on the inside of what Weiss had thought was her least eye-catching coat. The one she had on now was Pyrrha’s, almost comically too big on her. At least it was warm. It smelled like her, a firewood smell. It only made Weiss drowsier.
She tallied it silently, watching her companion out of the corner of her eye. That was five favors, more or less. A few days’ room and board, supplies, protection, an escort all the way to Mistral. And an ally—if that could really be counted on. All for next to nothing, or so Pyrrha claimed, that it was only her “duty as a huntress.” (Whatever that meant.) Weiss could pay her what was owed, but anyone else, huntress or not, would’ve seized on the opportunity right away to ship her back to Atlas, back to her father, for twenty times the reward.
So…Weiss thought she could be forgiven for her cynicism because, well, that wasn’t how the world worked, was it? Favors didn’t come freely. Everything had a price, even kindness. Or maybe it was especially kindness. But it wasn’t like she had a lot of options.
Soon, the glittering ocean and the city of Argus slipped completely behind them, and the cabin went dark as the train cut through the mountainside. Pyrrha’s eyes slid to hers in the dimness, the expression in them quietly curious, like she’d sensed she was being studied the entire time. For some reason, it made Weiss uneasy, being watched in return, being looked at in the closeness of the dark. She turned back to the window. The next moment, the mountain fell away, too, and only Anima’s steely winter landscape was left, stretching out toward the distant gray fringe of trees. Not exactly Mantle’s bitter tundra, but something about the scene reminded Weiss of it.
“I haven’t been home in a long time,” Pyrrha murmured, her voice almost startling in the quiet. “It feels…a little strange going back.”
Weiss chewed her lip. She wasn’t interested, exactly, but she felt the question leave her before she realized it was: “Why haven’t you?”
Pyrrha smiled. It wasn’t the open warmth Weiss had come to expect but something guarded, a little unreadable. Maybe Weiss was just slightly interested in that. “It’s so lonely in a big city like Mistral, don’t you think?” She leaned her chin into her hand. “Surrounded by people. Argus is quieter.”
Lonely… Weiss squeezed her rucksack to her chest. “I think I know what you mean.”
She thought about the view from the airship window when she was leaving Atlas, the Solitas Sea at night. Churning and endless, something completely unfathomable. The waves had gleamed under the moon like the shine of teeth from shadows.
She remembered looking out at that ocean and, despite all her best efforts, thinking about her father, his icebox of an office, the way he would tap his fingertips against his desk whenever he was annoyed. He used to sigh and lean back in his chair to look at her, used to rub his face with his hand like something pained him. You should be careful where you throw your sympathy, Weiss, he’d say. You know, the world just beneath you is crueler than you can imagine. Waiting to tear you apart. You understand? Here, he would lean forward again, stroke his pale mustache, his listless, beady eyes fixing to her. Like wolves.
Even someone like that, Weiss figured, her eyes returning to Pyrrha just for a moment before they slipped closed. Even someone who smiled gently at you could bare fangs when the time came. Weiss couldn’t quite remember the dream she had when she drifted off, but she recalled this, at least: her own ragged voice, the strange, wet pressure of teeth, powerful jaws closing shut around her throat. And then there was just silence.
~
By the time Weiss stirred awake again, the view outside the window was dark with dusk. “Sleep well?” Pyrrha folded her book over her thumb. “The train’s made a stop in Ajisai.”
Weiss lifted her head. She could feel the red mark the glass had left on her cheek. Actually, she could feel Pyrrha politely holding in a remark over it, as well. People pressed around each other down the aisle, milled around on the platform below.
“I slept fine. I guess.” She took a mug of something warm from Pyrrha—coffee, she realized, once she brought it to her nose. She pressed her palms around it. “Thanks. Um, and you? Did you sleep?”
Pyrrha set her book aside in the empty seat. Weiss was faintly surprised by its cover for a moment—fairytales. She had a vague memory of her mother reading stories like that to her once or twice as a child. That was a long time ago, of course, but the one she still remembered well was The Girl in the Tower. Which, admittedly, seemed a bit uninspired to her now.
“Hm…a little.”
“Is that the truth?”
Pyrrha paused and then chuckled, a little self-consciously. “Well, all things considered,”—she nodded her head to Weiss’s coat pocket, then up at the rifle hidden in the overhead—“I thought it best if there was someone to keep an eye out.”
Weiss frowned, dragging her knees up to her chest. She curled her hand around the vial in her pocket again. It’d become a small force of habit (or was it a nervous tick?) at some point without her realizing it. “That wasn’t necessary. You need your rest, too.”
“Oh, you don’t need to worry—”
“It’s not that I am,” she interrupted, drawing the heavy coat tighter around herself. “Worrying about you, I mean. You’re just no good to me exhausted.”
Pyrrha fell quiet, those shrewd eyes of hers, green as the jade you found all over Anima, softening for a reason Weiss couldn’t quite decipher. “Right,” she said. “I’ll try to get some hours in, then.”
Despite herself, Weiss squirmed slightly under that change in expression. “I can take care of myself just fine, you know.”
Well, in theory she could. Granted that fencing maneuvers were transferrable to, say, scrapes with Atlesian soldiers or Mistralian bounty hunters. Granted the gleaming rapier she’d stolen from her father’s study on her way out wasn’t just decoration, after all.
Pyrrha folded her arms, and for a moment, Weiss thought she’d make some remark, something doubtful—haven’t you lived your whole life being taken care of?
But then she nodded and murmured, “I can see that.”

Could you do a Gun x reader fluff pleasss 🥺
Tumblr media
Webtoon Masterlist | Masterlist/Rules
CHARACTER :: Webtoon, Lookism, Gun
GENRE :: fluff
PROMPT :: after being sent to America for six months by your boss, Charles Choi, you come back to Korea just in time for Crystals party. While at the party you get reunited with someone who you haven’t seen in awhile
NOTE :: hi my love! I haven’t seen him get so much love anywhere so I hope this request satisfies you! I aged him up a bit, even though it wasn’t said what was his specific age was it was stated in chapter 26 he was a teenager. So I aged him up to 25! I apologize for ya his being done so late.
Tumblr media
Landing back in Korea was both a pleasure and a pain. Pain mainly being the fact that your job was not done.
Standing up from the plane you put your trench coat on and grabbed your belongings.
Walking was no problem, the problem was waiting for your lovely driver, to arrive on time.
Checking your phone you saw that he was late, like always never on time. You let out a sign in annoyance. Holding in your patience.
Transfering Crystals gift bag from hand to hand any time your hand got sore from holding it.
After waiting for another thirty minutes you finally saw the same car you remembered from six months ago. “You know you can arrive on time, if this were a private jet and you were a regular henchmen I would’ve shoot you with my taser gun at max power.” You said facing the blonde man in annoyance. It didn’t help that he came out the car with his usual annoying smirk.
“Aw c’mon don’t be like that, at least I arrived. If it were me I’d just send your husband to come and get you.” He said teasing you while leaning on the side of the car waiting for you to finish loading your belongings on the trunk of the car.
You let out a sigh of annoyance, mainly due to him being late. Grabbing your bookbag you started smacking Goo, making sure he heard all of your curse words directed at him. You knew that one day you’d kill Goo. Either through by accident or on purpose. You’ll have to apologize to Charles in advance if you do.
After smacking him a few more times you set the bag in the trunk while marking sure you slammed the trunk of the car, to show him your obvious irritation and annoyance towards him.
You walked away from him entering the passenger seat, ignoring his whines and comment towards you to treat his car with more respect.
Tumblr media
Entering your home was a satisfaction relief. Putting all the belongs you’ve been carrying in your hands down onto the floor.
You immediately threw yourself onto the couch taking in the peace and quiet. Seeing that your husband, yes husband, Gun wasn’t home. Already knowing he was probably guarding Crystal or guarding Charles. You also saw he wasn’t home either.
You chuckled at the thought of yours and Guns relationship. One look at him and people would think he was either single or didn’t want to marry, but those close to him knew otherwise.
You remembered like it was yesterday when you first met him. When you were hired to protect Crystal since Charles assigned Gun and Goo on another job.
Remembering how you sort of embarrassed yourself in front of them, but quickly recovered when you saw someone coming to attack crystal.
Tumblr media
You sat there embarrassed with yourself, not only did you almost land on yourself, you almost brought down one of Charles elite workers. You muttered countless of apologizes.
You were dismissed quickly by him without him letting you by without a quick nagging by him, of course you sat through since he was a higher up.
That didn’t save your irritation for the blonde one next to him. You knew he was a higher rank than you but that didn’t stop you from wanting to not smack the hell out of him, hearing his jokes didn’t help you either. You looked at him with clear annoyance.
It was obvious to the both of them that you were irritated with the blonde haired man.
The blonde haired man was going to comment something but was cut off with you running off towards the direction of Crystal.
Both men followed you two. They made it on time just you to see push Crystal behind you and immediately disarm someone and push them onto the ground.
Everything was all calmed down, Crystal was in the protection of her parents arms, both checking to see if she was safe. And to only confirm she was safe, Gun saw his boss approach you and start harshly scolding you, in front of others. He saw you standing there, not defending yourself, taking all of his comments.
For some reason Gun couldn’t take anymore of what was currently happening to you. Gun approached the both of you and whispered something to his boss, letting him know it was his fault that you were distracted.
While this happened Crystal left her mother’s arms and walked towards to you, she grabbed onto your pants near your thighs and yanked them, grabbing your attention. You crouched down to her height and gave her your undivided attention. “Hi miss, thank you for saving me.” Crystal said hugging you.
You stood there for a moment unmoving before you gave into her hug and hugged her back. You felt glad that Crystal, at her age, was forgiving. Most six year olds would throw tantrums, but she didn’t.
Both men saw this and were glad that Crystal forgave you and still trusted you. Goo looked at Gun teasingly, seeing the stoctic man smiling at yours and Crystals interaction. Gun seeing his partners expression quickly changed it back to his regular stoctic expression before Gio could even say anything.
Tumblr media
Sitting in the car looking out towards the window, holding onto the important files that currently lay in your hands. Holding them with dear life, these costed you away time from your hometown so of course you’d protect these with your life.
Already missing the person who cherished your heart. Once you’d arrive you knew that you’d hug them to no ending.
You made sure to dress appropriately for the occasion that you were entering.
You smiled subconsciously just thinking of seeing him again. You’d think six months away would give you freedom and relaxation, no.
It made you miss him more and more dearly. Already wanting to be wrapped in his arms. You smiled at the thought of seeing the one who you loved unconditionally.
Tumblr media
The party looked extraordinarily, Charles seeing his daughter interact with all her friends with her second body. He made sure to hire double guards around the place, make sure everything was protected. He stood near both of his trusted guards.
Goo.
Gun.
And Guns son.
All four of them stood near the big table. Sitting down and observing. Goo off enjoying the served alcohol to the adults present. Turning to his left he saw Gun entertaining his four year old son. Keeping him busy. It was obvious to the others that the child sitting on Guns lap was deeply missing his mother.
Of course Gun did his best raising him while you were away but he knew deep down he missed you and wanted you by his side. On the days he needed to work he’d drop the little guy off to your mothers home, then pick him up when he’s done.
“Hey daddy.” Said the little boy grabbing his said fathers attention. Gun looked down towards the child looking at him waiting for what he has to say. “When is mommy coming hom?” He said looking at him waiting for his answer.
Gun let out a sigh, “she’ll be home soon.” Gun said quick and short. “You said that before and it’s been six months. I miss her.” The little boy started to tear up at the thought of you being away any time longer, he already couldn’t bear you being away anymore.
Gun couldn’t lie, he did miss you as well. Gun all he could do was rub his head. He felt guilty. He knew the job that his boss sent you required it to take this long seeing how dangerous it was.
Charles saw the both interact with each other. “Looking at you, who’d knew you’d end up getting married, much less having a child.” Said Charles chuckling at the scene in front of him.
Gun looked towards his boss and smirked back at him. “Well life has full of many different surprises.” Gun said looking back down at his son.
“Well I think you’ll like this next one.” Charles said looking towards your direction, indicating to Gun look that way too.
Both Gun and your son looked where he was looking at, before Gun could react your guys son jumped off from Guns lap and ran off in your direction.
“Mommy!”
You crouched down hugging your son, pampering him with many many kisses around his face. “Hi baby I missed you.” You said holding him up while hugging him tightly.
Before you could move you felt another pair of arms wrapped around you tightly. You knew it was Gun, hearing his voice whisper silently onl for you guys to hear.
Your here.
Your safe.
Your back home.
Whispering it to the both of you guys, relieved that your home and safe.
You broke from Gun’s embrace walking towards your boss while having your son, seeing as he isn’t going to let you go anytime soon.
“I see everything turned out fine!” Charles said pleased seeing you return and not some henchmen who worked for you return the files to him with sad news.
“Yeah I got everything you wanted, maybe even more. Hope these help you with what you need.” You said handing the file toward him. “Now if you need me I’m going to reunite with my family.” You said walking back to Gun while grabbing his hand while walking away.
You three arrived somewhere decently quiet.
You wrapped Gun’s arms around you leaning close to him however much you could. You let out a sigh you were holding in and relaxed into him seeing as he also pulled you into him seeking a sort of comfort in your presence.
“How was the job in America?” Gun said breaking the silence. Looking down at you and your guys son in your arms.
“It was fine, there were some people who did cause a bit a trouble when they didn’t agree with some of my plan of actions.” You said recalling the times where a few of your workers decided to trash talk you behind your back or insult you in your presence.
“Have you taken care of them?” Gun asked you while he subconsciously tighten his grip on you.
“Yeah, for the ones who liked to disobey I would email our boss on the ones who rebelled and buy them a next day ticket by lying to them saying Charles need them. And who knows what happened to them.” You said telling him what you did to the misbehaving crew members.
“I’m glad.” Gun said ending the conversation as soon as he started it.
The silence was soon once ended by your son lifting his head up and looking towards you. “Mommy did you know that daddy missed you a lot?” Jaehyuck said looking at his dad but quickly looking away.
You looked up teasingly towards Gun smirking towards him at your new found information. “Oh really what else did he say?” You said looking back down at your son ignoring Guns protests saying otherwise.
“He also said that he wants to cuddle you and kiss you whenever you came back. He also planned on making dinner for you when you came back.” Your son said looking towards his father while sticking his tongue out at him while hiding his facing back into your neck laughing while he saw his dad approaching the both of you guys.
You “defended” your son from Gun’s clutches, playing alongside with them. Making all smiles appear in each other’s faces. You truly were happy to be back.
You sat down after a while putting your son down seeing on how tired you were, catching your breath.
Gun noticed this and approached you in confusion. “Why are you suddenly so tired?” He said seeing your appearance all tired and restless.
You knew it was finally time to tell him after leaving six months ago without telling him Your kept hidden secret. All you did was grab his hand and place it on your stomach “well just ask her.” You said with smile while looking up towards him.
Gun was confused. He didn’t know how to comprehend this. “Your pregnant?” He said whispering the question. “Yeah I’m sorry I didn’t tell you. By the time I knew about it, it was my second day in America plus I had to abandon all communication with everyone I knew two protect them.”
You were shocked to see Gun on his knees hugging your waist, his face near your pregnant stomach. You felt little tear drops fall onto your dress. You didn’t say anything else just smiled and enjoy this moment.
“Mommy is daddy okay?” Your son asked seeing his dad current state. “Yes he is, he’s just happy that you’ll have a sister soon.”
Tumblr media
You were happy, you finally told Gun your little secret that you kept from him, and it felt amazing. You were wrapped in your husbands arms. You three walked around talking amongst each other, enjoying each other’s presence.
At one point your son fell asleep in your arms which was a bad timing seeing as your arms started feeling numb.
It took awhile, and a few minutes of struggling but you both managed to get Jaehyuck in Guns arms. And you were in heaven when you finally got to rest your arms.
Your peacefullness ended when Goo thought it was funny to start teasing you both.
“I bet when you guys arrive home your going to just bang it out like rabbits for the night.” Goo said snickering at it. You were embarrassed by on how straight forward he was and by also the fact that your guys son was also in the presence but not awake to hear it.
Gun didn’t help when he smirked back to Goo. Knowing fully well he was joining in the teasing. “You guys are unbelievable.” You said embarrassed while walking away.
Your embarrassment grew even more when your boss also decided to join in the joke with both of the boy’s.
“C’mon Goo, you know better than anyone else that those two will continue til the next day.” He said sipping his margarita while laughing with the other two.
You were dying of embarrassment. And what was Gun doing? Standing there like nothing. Also making comments.
You had enough so you took your shoes off and threw it at Goo, it was successful when it smacked his face. It ended up with the other two laughing at him.
You were happy.
Happy to be home with your loving family.

No title: Chapter 4. Bridge to nowhere.
*Dimension 63 OG*
"Oh boy...Salem was early she really wasn't even supposed to arrive till AFTER the battle..."
.
.
.
"Jaune Arc?" Asked Cinder but all she got was a warm tingly feeling in her grimm arm.
"Yes Jaune Arc, bring him to me THAT is your main priority everything else is secondary" Salem said to her but to which Cinder was a bit confused.
Why did she need that weakling for?
"Master...I am confused why do you want me to prioritize that weakling above the relic...above the winter maiden!" Cinder said to her but all she got was silence.
"He is hardly worth the trouble expending energy for and as sad and pathetic as he is-ack" Cinder couldn't continue her tirade on Jaune as she felt her Grimm hand move and put a hand around her neck.
"What I want should be of no concern to you Cinder; YOU will do what I desire and not to further question me again...do we have an understanding?" Cinder couldn't see it but she could damn well feel her masters murderous gaze even with the Grimm hand suffocating her.
Cinder weakly nodded as she felt her grimm hand release her throat allowing the fall Maiden to gasp for air.
"Good...proceed with your plan...I will join you shortly" Join?
"*cough* join master?" Cinder said feebly and she felt the her grimm hand go warm and tingly again.
"Yes of course...as soon as I am able you'll know of my arrival" and with that the looming presence vanished.
.
.
.
"Like I said Salem was never supposed to return much less talk to Cinder again till after the battle...yet somehow she does"
"So we're still missing... about three more of the team members before we can get back to fixing what's broken and if im not mistaken...a certain gremlin should be plopping through the door soon.."
" anywho uh where was I? Oh right!"
.
.
.
Cinder revealed only the part where she and Neo had managed to find out what Ruby and Co. where doing thanks to the Lamp.
She did not however tell her about the Salem part.
While she was busy talking, Neo was walking up behind Ruby under the disguise of an Mantle civilian with Hush seemingly ready to strike and finally end the silver eyed life.
Or was...
"Ruby!"
Yang had rushed in for her baby sister and took the strike meant for Ruby.
It shattered her aura but worse of all...she fell over the bridge.
.
.
.
"You know the bridge that Ambrosius said NOT to fall over...numpties"
"Sorry sorry...its just...it was hard to keep track of folk when they dissappear into a fucking pocket dimension...or maybe was it hell?"
"No...thats not hell...so was it a pocket dimension?...fuck I'm getting a headache"
.
.
.
"Yang!" Screamed Blake seeing her partner vanish into thin air she tried to jump after her but was held back by Weiss.
Enraged she turned towards Neo who was currently engaged with Ruby.
She ran towards the two throwing Gambol at Neo restraining her arm before coming down with a slash only for Neo to shatter and reappear still fighting Ruby.
Meanwhile Cinder hovered in the air as she threw fire slashes of her sword at Weiss who used her glyphs to block and dodge them.
"Why'd you have to come back!?" Came the voice of Penny who was flying in the air towards Cinder.
"Penny no!" Shouted Weiss as Penny flew rapidly towards Cinder.
"Why didn't you learn you lesson!" She said before punching Cinder sending the fall Maiden flying back.
"Oh Penny...I did" Cinder said as Penny looked back behind her to her friends and mantle citizens in concern which gave an opening as Cinder swiped at her with fire.
The battle continued with both Maidens flying in the air hit after hit on each other with Cinder gaining ground, it wasn't until a black Glyph by Weiss pulled Cinder in distracting her.
Annoyed Cinder used her Grimm arm and spawned in sharp projectiles, Weiss standing at the top near one of the gateways saw that citizens were still coming through she casted a glyph just as Cinder launched the projectiles blocking a few but some went in other directions and a few even through the gateway.
Jaune whom was helping with the evacuation effort in Mantle turned around as screams went out as the spike came through the gate luckily no one was injured though Jaune was concerned. Something was very very wrong.
.
.
.
"Oh indeed something was wrong and not because of Cinder"
.
.
.
Jaune had made sure everyone was safe and not injured, once he was sure no harm came to mantle people, he turned to the gateway and narrowed his eyes.
He turned back to the crowd.
"I'm going in, use the other portal down the line" he pointed to another portal few feet away to which everyone nodded and started running to it.
Turning back, Jaune made his was forward stopping right at the entrance, breathing in and out and steeling his nerves Jaune finally moved right through.
As he was propelled through Jaune felt a sudden headache coming on and before he could blink the entrance to the other side was upon him.
Screaming Jaune went through the other portal expecting to be at the bridge way that lead to vacuo.
So when Jaune made it through the gateway he was surprised to not be standing on golden bridges leading to one big doorway, but it was a room!
Why was he here?...where ever here was!
He felt his head throb again too which he dropped to one knee.
"Woooow! You live here in this castle that's so cool Auntie!" Widening his eyes he turned around to see the boy from his last delusion and that same woman was their as well.
"It is pretty cool isn't it?" The woman chuckled ad she walked around while the young blonde boy just looked around amazed and excited. He stopped at the window before he let out another 'Wooow'.
Jaune stood up from one knee and walked towards the window and all he saw was a vast rocky terrain with purple crystals erected from the ground and the skies were a dark red.
"Hey Auntie...you sure mom and dad won't be mad you took me to this castle?" Asked the little boy to which the woman put a hand on his head and rubbed his hair.
"Will be back before they realize anything little knight...oh...would you like to see something interesting?"
"Oooh would I!" His eyes lit up with excitement and the woman just chucked before pointing a her pale white finger to a black tar like pit outside.
Grimm started to rise out of the tar pit.
"Ooooooh is that how Shadow was created?" At the mention of the word 'Shadow' a little grimm creature, looking almost like an Owl popped out from the boys hoodie and hooted happily at both him and the lady.
"Hmm yes that is his origin but you gave him life little knight" she said as she scratched the owls head gently.
"Coooool!" Before wandering around the room some more.
"Hey Auntie?" The boy said aloud as the pale lady turned around.
"Hmm?"
"Don't you get lonely up here?"
As soon as the boy said that Jaune felt another throb occur as he shit his eyes and opened them back up to reveal...he was no longer in a castle...
"I'm back at this field again...when will the delusion end!" He said to himself looking around but it was all the same as last time, just grass and a faraway mountain range.
"Com- ho-" more unintelligible dribble kept whispering into his ear as his head still kept throbbing.
"I just wanna go back! My friends need me!" He screamed out pacing around in the field while holding his aching head but eventually after futile attempts to find somewhat of an exit combined with the ever going throbbing of his head he stopped and dropped to his knees clutching at the pain he was enduring.
It felt like his skull was splitting in two!
Was he really going to die from a damn headache and in a delusion no less!?
"-ome hom-" and that babbling wasn't helping either!
Everything was going a mile-a-minute....what the hell was goi-
A hand on his shoulder stopped his thoughts suddenly the whispers were gone and the headache went away.
Jaune raised his head and turned around all he saw was a gentle smile and crimson eyes.
"Come home Jaune"
"Jaune!"
Jaune shaking his head only saw his feet tettering on the edge of the bridgeway looking behind him he saw Nora holding his right arm to prevent him from falling forward into the abyss.
"Are you alright Jaune?" Nora asked in concern Jaune just stepped back a little unsure of what the hell was happening, he looked to Nora with a smile.
"I'm fine...it was just the motion-sickness...those crazy doors haha" he said not even so sure of himself.
"Are you sure cause as soon as you passed through you stopped like a rock and then moved forward almost walking off the path" Nora said to which Jaune hugged his teammate.
"I'm fine Nora I promise...what's happened?" Jaune said as he released Nora from the hug and Nora sighed before pointing to the two maidens currently doing battle in the sky.
"Cinder"
" alright...priority one remains the same" Jaune told her as Nora just stared at the two maidens before going off to get the citizens to Vacuo.
Jaune turned his head looking at the fall Maiden and just for a brief moment, he wanted nothing more then to forgo mantle and attack the source fall this...pain and suffering.
Shaking his head he went to get everyone to safety.
.
.
.
"What...comes after well...Cinder managed to knock down both Weiss and Penny, shatter their auras and was going to kill Weiss but Blake managed to intervene"
"The main thing is Ruby, Blake and Neo all fell as in over the bridge fell. Neo bless the little gremlin should have really seen Cinders betrayal coming...I mean come on!"
"'Sigh'...now we get to...that event"
.
.
.
Where did everything go wrong?
Yang, Blake and Ruby had all disappeared off the edge all thanks to Neo and Cinder...and it just Penny and Weiss left...
Dropping down from atop the bridge above Cinder Jaune came down to which Cinder blocked but did not expect to be propelled back by the shield.
She skidded along the platform as Jaune, Penny and Weiss all held out their weapons at her.
"Ahh so there's the knight" Cinder said as Jaune narrowed his eyes at her preparing for whatever attack she was planning until her Grimm arm started flailing about before stopping abruptly, Cinder smiled cruelly.
"She's coming"
Before sending every one backwards from a fire blast and summoning two swords she chucked one at Weiss and one at Jaune before sending a two fire walls splitting Penny up from Weiss and him.
Jaune could only stare in horror as the grimm hand flew through the fire and using its claws...dug itself into penny's chest.
Cinder was trying to steal the maidens power but before she could get any further Weiss came in and continued her attack.
The claws retracted and Penny fell helplessly to the ground bleeding...dying.
"Penny!" Jaune ran in his hands already glowing brilliant gold.
"H-hold on my semblance..."
"No" no? What did she mean by no?
"C-come on theirs no time to be funny" Jaune still had his hands glowing but Penny still didn't use her aura.
"Theirs not enough time...to heal me" Jaune shook his head at her reasoning.
"Weiss is giving us time! Y-you can't let me just let you bleed to death!" He said to her dreading what she was trying to do.
"We can't let her get the staff and the Maiden power..." she reached out her hand weakly and touched Jaunes glowing hand.
"But...their is something you can do" Jaune just looked at his sword.
"I-I don't know where the others are...but like I said Weiss can give us time...theirs no need for-"
"Please let me choose this one thing...trust me" she touched Crocea Mors while smiling weakly.
"Y-y-your asking me to-to " he stammered looking back and forth between his sword and her.
"I'm sorry...I know it's...hard but...please" she begged and Jaune felt tears begin to prick at his eyes.
"B-b-but what about everyone; Ruby, Weiss, Winter everyone...Your father!?" He told her but Penny just shed some tears and shook her head.
"I...I have...no regrets...please we are running out of time" as she said that a scream from Weiss came as Cinder hit her causing Weiss to stumble back.
(Please play World at War 'Vendetta theme')
Jaune held out his sword in front of him the reflection of his eyes staring right back at him. Swallowing the heavy lump in his throat his right hand started shaking as he brought the sword closer to Penny, who was just smiling at him.
"Thank you"
Cinder had gained ground against Weiss and was about to strike down the Schnee before a pained cry rang out.
Jaune with tears in his eyes took the sword out from Penny's chest, his tears fell to the floor along with Penny's blood. Jaune just looked at his sword, one half remained clean showing his teary left blue eye but his right eye was red from...
.
.
.
"I always said...two people died that day Penny and a piece of Jaune died too"
.
.
.
"You!" Screeched Cinder as she summoned her swords, yet Jaune paid no mind as he was so fixated on the puddle of blood pooling around his boots
"My..my god..what have I...what have I done!?" He said to no one but himself.
"Where did it go!?" She questioned in rage as she flew at him but still he said nothing.
"I promised my master I would bring you to her unharmed but unfortunately that won't be that case!" She slashed down her sword downward at him but as she did Jaune just raised his shield still looking at the blood before raising his head towards Cinder.
Cinder looked on in shock as it wasn't a pair of Blue eyes looking at her but one eye, the right eyes, was red.
Red like her masters. Like the grimm. Angry and with malice.
Gritting her teeth she used her grimm arm to bring down the other sword to which Jaune raised Crocea Mors to intercept it...but to Jaunes shock and despair...Cinder's blade cleaved through Crocea Mors.
His right eye flickered back to blue as he just looked at the sword before being knocked down.
"Once more...where did it go?!" She asked before being blasted by energy.
.
.
.
"Penny had managed to transfer the power of the winter maiden to Winter Schnee herself...allowing her to get an edge in defeating ironwood"
.
.
.
A shriek came though as grimm started coming through one of the portals.
on the outside in Mantle, Salem walked towards one of the portals as she used her grimm for eyes to see what was on the other side.
She caught sight of Cinder fighting a women with white hair, which must be the older schnee sibling but that mattered little.
"Where are you my little knight?..." She said before a feeling of joy spread through her as she watched a man with gold hair carry the second youngest of the schnee family.
Now with confirmation that Jaune was their she pressed forward and passed through the gateway...or at least tried to as the portal evaporated in front of her.
"No!"
She looked around as each individual portal kept disappearing.
"No no no no no" The grimm still had sight on Jaune but things were going wrong, her grim were...were falling?
"The pathways are disappearing...but that means..." If Jaune were to fall into the abyss...
She still had sight on him as long as she can reach a portal and get a hold of him all will be okay...all will be fi-
Until the grimm that was finally keeping sight of him finally too fell off and disappeared as well.
"No!" She shouted in despair she couldn't lost him, not Jaune not her s-
Cinder!
She was there!
Priority one bring Jaune Arc to her!
She wouldn't fail her!
Oh she is back! Which means that she must have completed her plan! Which means!
With hope, Salem blasted through to the staff of creation where the last remaining portal was.
.
.
.
"Now I can understand you confusion what is Salem's dedication to Jaune well...you see its a bit complicated...well not really but really does that make alot of sense?"
.
.
.
Winter could only scream in despair as Weiss and Jaune were blown up and tossed into the air, Weiss sailed over the bridge while Jaune slid across the floor his Aura shattering. Winter desperately tried to reach her younger sister who kept falling more and more into the darkness before finally disappearing on a flurry of lights.
Cinder stood triumphantly hold the staff before leaving through the portal that lead to the staff's vault.
Winter floated back up with tears in her eyes, but burned holes in the back of Cinders head as she saw the fall Maiden leave. Swearing vengeance upon her.
"Winter we have to go now!" Said Jaune but Winter kept looking at where Cinder left. Unmoving. Maiden powers still active.
"Winter!" Jaune said as everything started to disappear.
The Maiden powers flared up and Winter flew off towards the door to Vacuo, and Jaune was gonna follow suit...but when Jaune turned to it.. the bridge had already disappeared.
.
.
.
"Now originally Jaune was supposed to follow Winter through the same portal but fail and to dissappear...well that...does happen but..."
.
.
.
Salem had arrived just as Cinder popped through the portal staring at her unimpressed on the outside, but hopeful on the inside. It seemed also that the good general was alive and well...alive enough that is.
But her hope only died as it was just HER that only came through.
"Master I did it...I got the relic...though I could not get the maid-"
"Where's Jaune Arc?" What?
Cinder stepped back for a minute...as her mind processed her question and she paled.
She forgot the main objective...no no her main objective was the staff and Maiden powers.
"Cinder where is Jaune Arc?" Salem asked her voice calm and cold but on the inside Salem was panicking.
"I...I am sorry master by the time I had gotten the staff...the gateways were disappearing" Cinder said to her hoping her master would by her excuse. A blur flew right by her as Salem peered through the portal and gasped at what she saw.
On the other side Jaune needed to do something, the bridge to Vacuo was gone and Winter had all but flown in it but to her credit she did try to get him but he didn't want her to risk it, He'd find a way to Vacuo.
But right now he needed to get out of here, so following around winding paths their was one portal that remained open.
The one Cinder left through.
Shit. If he didn't get captured he would most likely be killed. Dammit it's a lose lose situation all around!
He still kept running finally on the main bridge to that portal.
Just keep running Jaune!
Keep running!
The gateway was insight!
He could jump right through it!
And jump he did as the bridge beneath his feet disappeared leaving Jaune flying in the air towards the gate.
A pale white hand reached out the gate trying desperately to reach out to him, much to Jaune shock , but he too tried to reach out as well.
Salem had reached a hand out of the other side of the portal after seeing Jaune run towards the portal in hopes to catch and pull him back and she was close she had Jaune on her fingertips!
She'd have her little knight back!
Only to her horror as the portal disappeared the shocked face of Jaune Arc was the last thing she saw before he too fell into the darkness and disappeared in a flurry of lights.
Salem looked down at her right hand shakily as Cinder came to her masters aid but was ignored .
Gone.
Her knight.
Her little knight gone just like that...taken from her just like everything else.
The pain came back.
The pain of losing a child.
Had once again returned.
Salem wailed in despair.

Creature of the Night | Steve Harrington
A/N: this one’s been on hold for a LONG time, I got writes block.
Warning(s): strong language, (that’s it I think)
°•○●○•°
Tumblr media
y/n pressed the gas pedal harder with her foot, speeding her car out of Starcort. It had been a long tiring day at work and all she was looking forward to, was going home, sitting in front of the tv and stuffing her face in popcorn. She was driving through the empty roads, blasting her music loudly, when suddenly she heard a faint static sound from a distance. As if from an empty tv channel or radio or…Dustin’s, “code red, I repeat, this is a code red.”
Furrowing her eyebrows, she pulled her car over to the side of the road, pressing on the brakes and pulling her car to park. She was looking around, staring in the front seats of the car to find where the noise was coming from. Ripping her car apart, her eyes finally landed on the big walkie talkie thing her brother’s nerd friend would use to communicate. Remembering Dustin’s specific words, “they aren’t walkie talkies okay, they are one of a kind, Realistic TRC 219 radio” to which she’d always continue to mock her brother of how nerdy he was. Picking up the item from the back corner of her car, ‘probably Dustin’s’ she thought to herself, placing it on the passenger’s seat and continuing to make her way home.
After a few seconds of driving once again, the radio went off, “I repeat, this is a god damn code red, will someone answer the freaking call.” And with that last message, y/n could recognize the voice too well, once again pulling her car to park, she picked up the radio, “Dustin…is that you?” she asked as soon as she pressed the black button on the side of the radio.
“yes it’s me, how are you talking to me?” he replied with confusion.
“I think one of your nerd friends left their walkie talkies in my car”
“how many times do I have to tell you, it’s not a walkie talkie, it’s a one of a kind Realistic T-you know what, it doesn’t even matter, can you just get Lucas, Mike or Will on the line.”
“why the hell would you think I’m with them. I just got off work and I’m on my way home”
“NO DON’T COME HOME” Dustin practically screams through the radio,
“Dustin, what did you do?”
y/n pulled her car through her driveway, running to the back shed where Dustin was standing and waiting for her. Looking at her brother up and down, “you look ridiculous” she says, chuckling.
“yeah well so do you. Can we do some work now” he says, grabbing the bat in this hands before making his way to the root cellar
Walking behind him, she grabbed the bat from his hands, “I swear to god Dustin, if this is a joke, your riding you bike to school for a month”
“it ate our mom’s cat, I am not joking y/n.”
Signing loudly, walking slowly to the closed-door Dustin locked. “keys?” asking the boy, holding out her hands to which Dustin places them. Opening the lock, she slowly and quietly took it out, letting out a deep breath before holding onto the bat tightly, opening the door quickly. Placing the bat in front of her to see nothing. Walking down the dark steps, opening the light of the cellar, looking around to see it was empty. Shaking her head, annoyed and ready to shout at her brother, she started to walk upstairs when her eyes fell on something. “um Dustin” screaming loudly, calling for him.
“what” hearing him screaming from outside.
“get your ass down here right now” she screams, this caused the boy to quickly make his way down. Looking around and seeing no sign of Dart, he huffs in annoyance.
“is this your pet” y/n asked, holding up the shredded piece of skin with the bat, the hole in the wall visible to both of them now. “shit” Dustin whispers looking at the hole.
--
“okay so what the hell is a Demogorgon?”
“were you not listening at all, I just told you. God I don’t have time for this, can you please just drive faster.” Dustin screams, annoyed at her for asking too many questions.
“okay so what do we tell mom about Mews?” she asked her brother, unable to process the fact that their beloved cat was gone.
“uh we don’t tell her anything. Just say she ran away and never came back”
“okay first of all, that’s horrible. Second of all, don’t roll your eyes at me. I literally just get off work, starving and tired and now I’m here driving you to your dumb nerd friends house cause apparently, you fought a giant creature last year called the Demogorgon and never told me”
Dustin rolls his eyes once again, “your starvation is the least of our problems right now and stop acting like you care about me”
Shocked at his words, she turns her head to face the boy. He sat on the passenger’s side looking out the window. Signing loudly, thinking back to when she moved to her father’s house. She had a huge fight with her mom that evening and the next thing she knew, she was on the bus, on her way to her fathers. y/n were there for nearly a year until her father kicked her out, forcing her to move back to her moms. Though her relationship with her mom improved and they both forgave each other for everything that happened that day, Dustin still didn’t forgive her. She knew how much he had the fear of someone he loves leaving him, he was the one who told her. After their dad left, he made her promise that she’d would never leave like their father did but then she disappeared for a year, coming back with a simple sorry. Dustin never forgave her, and she didn’t expect him to either. Just wished her relationship with her brother could go back like it used to.
“of course, I care about you Dusty” you said sadly.
“if you cared, you wouldn’t have left” he replies harshly as she pulled up at Mike’s house. He got out the car, slamming the door behind him as y/n watch the boy make his way to the front door talking to Mr. Wheeler. After a few minutes, she watched him walk back, only to stop once he started talking to Steve. They exchange a few words when Steve replies with a nod and goes back to his car. Dustin quickly makes his way in the car, closing the door beside him as he say “let’s go”
“where?”
“home”
“why hom-”
“y/n just drive the freaking car, will you?”
“alright alright” y/n says, holding up her hands in defense. Driving the car back their home, y/n noticed Steve’s car following them. “why’s Harrington following us?”
“he’s gonna help” Dustin says shortly, continuing to call his other friends with his radio.
--
“Lucas is coming, still don’t know where Mike and Will are” Dustin tells the two, who were collecting pieces of meat in a bucket.
“great” y/n and Steve both say sarcastically.
Steve and Dustin were walking together, while y/n was behind them. Walking on the train track, placing the pieces of meat on the tracks.
“whose Max?” y/n says, overhearing Steve and Dustin’s conversation.
“none of your business” Dustin says aggressively, walking quick on his feet.
y/n signs loudly, couldn’t deny begin hurt by her brother’s words.
“he’s still mad” Steve says, throwing a few pieces of meat on the ground.
y/n, Nancy and Barb were best friends, after Steve’s king phase was gone, they got along better. Before, when Steve was a dick, both y/n and Barb didn’t like him at all. Then y/n disappeared, when she got back, she came to a complete different Steve. They got along better after that, he knew everything about y/n, why she disappeared for a year and how Dustin was still angry at her.
“yeah, he never talks to me about anything anymore. I wish he’d knew how sorry I was”
“you should tell him that. Just try talking to him when the times right”
“I know. Why were you at Nancy’s today?” y/n asked curiously.
“went to say sorry, she wasn’t home I guess”
“um I think she’s with Jonathan” y/n says sadly, as Steve just nods his head in response.
--
“you guys really think this is gonna work” y/n says as everyone just looks at each other in response.
“it has to” Lucas says, looking at everyone else who nods their head.
“okay then, let’s do this” Dustin says, his grip on his hockey stick tightening.
And this was how y/n and Steve were stuck in this school bus with a bunch of kids, fighting a monster neither of them believed in…entirely.
y/n flinched as she heard something slam against side of the bus. Turning her head, she tried to peak outside the window, only to be interrupted by Steve, “it’s just wind, don’t worry…I won’t let anything happen to you” he winked.
“my hero” y/n replied, rolling her eyes.
y/n was sitting on the steps of the bus, by the front door, trying to be as cautious as she could. Though it was hard when her mind was all over the place. All she could think about was ways to get her brother to forgive her or at least talk to her again.
Her thoughts were interrupted by Max speaking, “okay seesh, someone’s cranky, past your bedtime” Watching the girl walk up to the roof of the bus, her eyes landed at her brother’s annoyed expression. Dustin walked back and forth as Steve spoke, “that’s great…just show her you don’t care”
y/n furrowed her eyebrows, unsure what Steve was talking about and why he was smiling like that. Again, her thoughts were interrupted by Dustin’s voice, “I don’t”
y/n noticed Steve wink at her brother at instantly understood. “Steve” she said rather loudly, causing the boy to flinch slightly, “you better not be giving my brother girl advice”
“well, where else is he gonna get it from, you?”
“obviously, you wouldn’t understand a thing about girls, or else Nancy would’ve been here right now with you. But she isn’t, huh!”
Before anyone got a chance to say anything else, everyone heard a loud roar, frightening everyone on that bus.
Lucas and Max were on the roof of the bus, Steve and Dustin shared a window while y/n used the front door of the bus. Everyone stared out in the dark, trying to find the source of the sound. It was difficult because there was smoke everywhere, making it next to impossible to see anything.
“alright, I’m going out” Steve says, picking up his bat that he had punched with nails.
“are you insane?” y/n implies, placing her hand on Steve’s chest, stopping him from moving any further. “you’re crazy if you think I’m going to let you go out there.”
y/n catches the three kids smirks, furrowing her eyebrows in confusion, she questions what was so funny.
Somehow, y/n will never understand how, but the three kids convinced her to let Steve go. “alright kid, just lure him towards the food and we’ll take it from there, alright?”
Steve chuckles sarcastically, “never call me kid again” making his way outside.
“I may be younger than you but I’m a thousand times smarter” Dustin screams as y/n finally closed the door to the bus.
Admittedly, y/n’s heart was racing, and she never understood why. Maybe it was because she was scared if anything happened to Steve. He is her friend after all.
A few minutes had passed as everyone watched Steve trying his best to lure the creature towards the meat. It was difficult to see it through the fog, but y/n still noticed the change in Steve’s body language, he was nervous. She may not be able to see his face but she knew he was nervous, maybe even scared.
Suddenly, everyone heard Lucas shout, “Steve, 3 o’clock”
As if everyone’s head turned on cue, y/n’s eyes widened as she finally caught a glimpse of the creature for the first time. Not one, in fact, Two? Three?
Both y/n and Dustin screamed on cue, “Steve”
y/n pulled the leaver to let the door open, as Dustin screamed “mission abort.”
y/n watched in horror as a creature launched itself on Steve, him knocking it in the process, quickly turned his direction, running for the bus. “guys move out of the way.” y/n exclaims as she pushed the kids out of the way, making space for Steve to run in.
Instantly closing the door behind him, Steve quickly grabs a metal board for the side, covering it over the door, pushing it closed with his legs, trying his best to stop the creature for getting in.
“They can’t get in, they can’t” Lucas shouts, everyone’s screaming getting louder every time they heard it slam against the door.
As if something clicked, y/n’s eyes widened in horror, “guys the roof” she screams, running towards the ladder.
Everyone’s breathing got louder as they heard the creature launch itself on the roof. The footsteps could be heard as it got closer to the emergency exit at the top. y/n didn’t know what she was doing, she grabbed the metal rod she found beside her, holding it up in the air, ready for it to be used.
Her breath hitched in her throat as she came face to face with the creature. It screamed on her face, some of the slime falling on her face. Her hands were trembling, and her thoughts were racing. ‘what the fuck was she thinking?’
The next few seconds were a blur at the most. One moment, she was ready to be attacked and she was but not by what or who she was expecting. Steve tackled her to the ground, causing her back to slam hard on the cold, hard floor of the bus. A few seconds into realization, they both look over to the emergency exit, seeing as it was gone.
“they’re gone” Max whispers, confusion laced in her voice.
Completely ignoring the kids conversation, y/n realized the events that had unfolded. “what the fuck is wrong you?” she screams at Steve, slapping his chest in an attempt to get his body off hers. Failing miserably at that.
“What the heck were you thinking? What did you think you were going to do, just kick that thing in the balls and think it’s going to get away from you.”
Steve’s words brought rage in her, “no but I’m going to kick you in the balls if you don’t get off me in the next 5 seconds” to which she finally pushed him off her.
“That was so irresponsible, y/n” Steve says, finally lowering his voice as he gets on his feet.
y/n scoffs, shocked at his words, “and what you did there. Just going out there with your nail bat. That wasn’t irresponsible to you.”
“that’s different” Steve replies, walking closer to the girl.
“how’s it different? Cause I’m a girl, you think I can’t-“
“I never said that” Steve cuts you off. Both adults now dangerously close to one another.
“that’s what you meant”
“Guys knock it off okay.” Dustin screams, “goddamn, sometimes I feel like I’m the only mature one around here.”
y/n laughs bitterly at his words, “you wish” she mutters, not intending for him to hear, but he did.
“at least I don’t run away from my problems. I face them” and with that, Dustin walks out of the bus. Leaving y/n to let out a breath she never knew she was holding. Her head fell in her hands as a few tears dropped from her eyes at her brother’s cold choice of words.
“hey…hey” Steve whispers, holding onto her hands, causing the girl unable to hide her state.
“he hates me. He’s never going to forgive me.” y/n stifles out, tears threatening to fall down.
Steve places both his hands on the girls cheek, wiping her tears away. “I promise, he’s angry but he does not hate you. Look at me.”
y/n eyes fall on the man standing in front of her. Maybe she didn’t realize herself but his expression instantly calmed her down. “I don’t know how, but I promise I’ll help you get your brother back okay”
y/n nods her head, pulling Steve in for a hug.
The moment was interrupted by Max fake coughing. Both adults pulled away, facing the two kids that were still awkwardly standing there.
“you need an invitation to leave” Steve says sarcastically, causing y/n to laugh quietly.
“we should leave”
“so what now” Max asks, as everyone stood outside, unable to process what the hell was going on.
“I guess we should head back” y/n says, causing Dustin to turn at her words.
“no, we can’t. Those things are still out there, we gotta do something.”
“Dustin, who knows how many more are out there. And even if we try, do you really think we can just beat those things.”
“Eleven could” Lucas whispers.
Dustin finally hit an idea, “okay, maybe we can’t beat them. What if we find professionals”
“like the law enforcement?” Max questions.
Dustin scoffs, “if I knew they were even one percent helpful, wouldn’t I have called them in the first place.”
Max rolls her eyes at his words. “okay guys calm down. Dustin’s right. We need professionals. Or at least more people than three kids and two lame adults.” Steve exclaims, this time causing y/n to roll her eyes.
“one lame adult” y/n corrects, smiling wickedly at Steve as he just sticks his tongue out.
“real mature”
“guys” Dustin screamed, “y’all can flirt later, we gotta save the world right now”

It was the same thing, every time. The same nightmare Frankie always had, ever since the second to last week of her second year. A third year boy, tall, with kind blue eyes, floppy brown hair and a smile that could give you butterflies. His name was Spencer, but everyone called him Spence. He was a Gryffindor, with strong shoulders and stronger bravery, playing as a Chaser on the team. Frankie met him in the Library, the sunset was shining through the windows-he looked like he was glowing.
“What are you reading?” Frankie looked up and her stomach fluttered.
“I-uh,” She laughed. “Um, it’s a book on the spiritual plane.”
“Advanced stuff for a second year.” He nodded towards the chair across from Frankie. “Can I sit here? The rest are full.”
“Hey!” She scoffed “I’m the same age as you, I just started late. My parents didn’t want me to be the youngest in the class, or something.”
“August birthday, huh? Still, spiritual stuff is fifth or sixth year-you’re an overachiever.” He smiled, sliding her copy of Magic and Spirits: A Guide across the table, looking into the page Frankie was reading.
“I’m Spencer.”
“Is it weird to say I know?” They shared a chuckle, before she added; “I’ve seen you play Quidditch, of course. I’m Frankie.”
“Is it weird to say I know too? You’ve thrown one too many bludgers at my face,” He slid the book back to her. “You’re good.” Spencer winked.
But after that, his smile gets distorted, twisted, sickeningly into a wicked grin. The butterflies, the fluttering, changes instantaneously into nausea. Heat rolls over Frankie, and she feels like she’s choking, not in the good way, either.
“Spence?” Her eyes were glossed over, sore.
“What is it, doll?” He leaned against the stone of the Hogwarts corridor.
“Spencer, are you messing with me?” Frankie couldn’t meet his eyes. “I heard you. I heard you talking to Cedric.”
“He’s my best friend, I talk to him every day.”
“Did you ask me to Hogsmeade on a dare?”
“I-what?”
“Don’t lie to me, Spencer, please, I heard you.”
“I’m sorry Reed, they told me to.” He didn’t even care, his eyes were cold, barely the smallest glint of remorse.
“I trusted you. I hope the galleon is worth it.”
~
August 31, 1994. 15 years ago today, Francesca Josephine Reed was brought into the world at St. Mungo’s hospital by her mother and her father. Since that day, the two ‘parents’ have been waiting to ship their only daughter to a wealthy, pureblooded heir to a notable family name and fortune. They cursed Francesca for being a girl and spent every waking hour ignoring her existence, wishing she would be 18 already so they could try for a son, free of any distractions. But of course, no one could know of their contempt for their daughter, so, yearly on the last day of August, the day before students return to Hogwarts, her parents throw Frankie a ‘party’, which is just an excuse to show everyone how well they raised their kid. Only, they didn’t raise Frankie. Kendra did.
Kendra, her tutor. Kendra, the kind woman with sad chestnut eyes that sparkled in the sun. Kendra, the one who taught Frankie everything she knew. Kendra, the one who acted like her mother when her birth mom pretended she didn’t exist. And Kendra is gone. Died in her sleep from Dragon Pox. The only family Frankie had, gone in her sleep, like she never existed. Her mother had insisted that Francesca was; “Better off without the blood traitor.” And Frankie had to bite her tongue, tasting metal and seeing red, while those who were supposed to love her most showed that they, truly, didn’t know her at all.
This ‘party’ was more like a stuffy ball for uptight pricks with wallets bigger than their brains. A ‘show and tell’, per say, for those who had surnames worth showing. Her parents got a chance to play dress up with their favorite doll, spewing distasteful comments about everything they didn’t find up to par.
“This should be flattering, I guess,” She started, laying out an emerald green gown with long, translucent bell sleeves and a sweetheart neckline. It was gorgeous, but due to the way her mother had worded it, Frankie didn’t want to wear it. Yet, if Frankie refused, her mother would make her life hell. “Do you want to wear it?” As if I have a choice. If I say no, yikes.
“Yeah! Thanks.” Frankie ran her fingers over the soft fabric. A silk bodice with a flowing, sheer, skirt. She would look like a princess. “I’ll see you downstairs?”
Her mother was already out the door.
~
The clinking of champagne glasses and the sounds of hushed conversations echoed into Frankie’s room. She laid on the bed, hands intertwined, unwilling to go greet the guests downstairs.
“I feel like I’m watching a muggle movie. A princess sprawled across her bed just to look cool.” Frankie sat up, seeing Cher and her smiling dark eyes, wearing a golden satin gown, contoured to her body. “You look amazing. The only thing missing is your tiara.” She cocked her head and outstretched her arms. “I missed you, Frankster.”
“Cher, you whore, I missed you!” Frankie slid off the four poster bed and tripped into her friend’s arms. “You sexy beast, you get more gorgeous every time I see you-that includes when I blink.”
“Well I could say the same to you.  The curves on you are unreal.” Cher poked Frankie’s hip. “But you know why I’m here. It’s because you’re not down there.”
“I know, I know. The longer I wait the more annoyed she gets. Every year.”
“Let’s go, Frankie. Happy Birthday!” Cher held out her arm and linked it through Frankie’s.
The estate had an exterior of brick, with white trims and pillars making it swallow the appearance of anyone approaching it. A tall fence encased in forest green hedges, locking the Reeds away, keeping them ‘safe’ from everyone and everything else. The interior was cold. Always cold. The long hallways and staircases were so dark. Wooden floors would creak below her footsteps and she was lonely. Always alone in the cold, dark house that felt too big and too small all the time.
But tonight? Tonight she wasn’t alone. The first day all summer that she saw her best friends. She felt the fog leave her head as she saw them one by one. Cher, next to her, Daphne at the bottom of the staircase, standing next to Pansy. Theo and Blaise talking to a pair of French girls in silver dresses, and Draco.
Oh, Draco. How could he get more attractive? Frankie had hoped the lack of contact over the summer would etch away her feelings, but they remained, ever as persistent.
His eyes lit up when he saw her, but they shifted quickly away from Frankie. Cher. She had to make sure her smile didn’t falter, so as to keep the perfect daughter facade from slipping.
“Happy B-Day, Frankster!” Pansy crushed Frankie in a hug as soon as they reached the ground. “We missed you, as usual.”
“I missed her more!” Daphne wrapped her arms around her in a more gentle way, giving her a tight hug that felt like home. “Theo and Blaise better pull themselves away from those girls soon, I give them fifteen seconds before they find out they’re dating.”
“I want some love. Where can I get something like that?” Cher whined.
Daphne placed a hand on her shoulder. “Baby don’t worry about it, you’ll get that.”
“Yeah, but at least in Wizarding France people can marry who they want. If only Bartemius Crouch Senior wasn’t a bigoted prick-”
“He’s on his way out anyway. His denial of You-Know-Who is going to give him the boot. We can just hope whoever comes in next will support us. If not, living in France it is.” The girls shared a sigh, looking over their shoulders to catch the end of Theo and Blaise’s conversation with the ladies, it appeared to have ended with an awkward handshake and a brisk walk away. Draco was caught up in a boring discussion with Torquil Travers and and a Carrow. Seemed to be very dull, as he kept sending glances towards the group of teens near the stairs. He was swirling a glass full of something dark, family ring adorning his hand.
“I feel really bad, you guys.” Theo said, rubbing the back of his neck. “We were talking to them for like, ten minutes, I bet they think we’re creeps.”
“No, Theodore, the way that conversation was going, they probably thought we were dating.” Blaise wrapped an arm around Theo’s shoulder. “I don’t blame them. Sometimes I wish I could be in love with this sexy beast.”
Theo patted Blaise’s arm. “I feel the same way.”
“With that, my loves, I must go forth and mingle, or face the silent wrath of my mother. Happy birthday to me!” Frankie hugged Blaise and Theo, then moved throughout the room, having boring conversations about politics, how school is going, what profession she should choose, or just small talk to pass the time. She had an alright time, sipping chilled butterbeer and having quick, fun conversations with her friends in between long, drawn out ones with tired purebloods. Draco didn’t have the time to talk to Frankie.
After the party it was quiet. Quickly hugging her friends and returning to her room to check her trunks for her return to school. Frankie knew she didn’t foget anything, but she couldn’t seem to calm her mind enough to be tired. She also couldn’t unzip this dress to save her life, so she came to terms with the fact that Frankie would be sleeping in this elegant ballgown tonight.
Her room was her safe place, smelling like lemon and vanilla, with candles on her desk giving it a calm, orange glow. Plush pillows on a four-poster bed, silk sheets and a velvet throw. It was luxurious. Too luxurious. She sometimes felt like an impostor in her own home, undeserving of the riches her family name allowed her. Sitting on the edge, Frankie pulled her journal out from her pillowcase. She outstretched her arm and opened her hand, palm towards the ceiling.
“Pariet lilium.” It came out as a whisper, but immediately, deep red rose petals materialized from her palm, unfurling into a beautiful bud, then into a flower. Frankie could feel the satiny touch of the petals on her skin and watched as the stem emerged from the bottom of the flower. It was beautiful.
Frankie lifted the rose to her nose, inhaling the floral scent and beginning to relax from the long day.
She was just about to lie down when there was a knock on her bedroom door.
“Chess?”

A Family Matter [Stronger #4]
Tumblr media
July 22, 2011
I didn’t expect to fall into a routine so quickly, nor did I really expect that I’d love my new life and the role I had in the world as a secret agent. Natasha and I quickly became friends outside of work once we realized that we had more in common than we first thought, and also because we saved each other’s lives on my first official mission. We had a solid bond based on that trust and it was only getting stronger with each day that passed.
I also learned that her and Clint were more than just work partners, though they would prefer if I kept it to myself, as if I’d have anybody to tell anyway. They were my mentors but they were also my friends.
Currently we were in a training room; my friends thought I needed to work on my hand-to-hand combat skills just in case I couldn’t use my powers for any reason.
I wasn’t allowed to use my powers and Natasha beat me up, not enough to injure but enough to warn me that she could if she wanted, in two minutes. She moved fast and hard but there was a gracefulness in her movements that showed she had ballet training. Afterwards she let me read her file, and told me about her growing up in the Red Room.
So I was currently sparring with Clint while Natasha gave me pointers. It reminded me of when I used to do this with Bucky and my heart broke a little more every time I remembered him because I missed him so much.
Clint currently had me over his shoulders, one arm around my throat and the other holding one of my legs in place while the other tried to kick him. He wasn’t trying to hurt me, but his grip got a little tighter for every minute I was stuck here.
“Think, Madi!” Natasha said. “How can you get out of this without your power?”
I gripped Clint’s wrist but he didn’t budge, so I grabbed his hand and pulled it to my mouth and bit him. He yelled and dropped me but I managed to catch myself and leg swept him, knocking him to the ground. I stepped back and away, unsure if that was ok for me do.
Natasha’s slow clap was the reassurance I needed. “Don’t be afraid to fight dirty here. It’ll make it more easier for you to do it out there.”
“I just don’t wanna hurt anybody here,” I said.
“It’s all good, kiddo. Nat’s right,” Clint said standing up. “You didn’t even bite me that hard.”
 “Kiddo?” I scoffed. “Technically I’m 87, I’m your senior.”
Natasha and Clint chuckled before Clint readied his stance again. “Don’t hold back this time.”
“I’ll try,” I said and readied my stance. Just as I was about to charge him, a man came running in the room. Natasha quickly pulled a gun, seemingly out of thin air, while Clint turned towards the man.
“Agent Barnes,” he called, coming to a quick stop when he saw the three of us ready to take him out. “Uh, pardon my intrusion, but I have urgent news for Agents Barnes!”
“Then speak urgently,” I said, relaxing my stance. Clint did the same while Natasha merely lowered the gun to her side.
The man beamed. “It’s great! Your brother – Captain America – has been found in the Arctic.”
It took me a moment to process his words. My hands started to shake. My heart rate sped up. “You… They found Steve? They found his body?”
“No, I mean yes. I mean they found him! He’s still alive.”
“Steve’s alive?” I whispered. My eyes were glossy and my throat was tight. The man nodded slowly and his smile seemed to grow bigger.
“Yes,” he said in a slow, distorted tone. I was doing it again. I took a deep breath to slow my heart rate and the man’s voice returned to normal as did time. “They’re defrosting him as we speak, but Coulson gave the order to let you know as soon as possible.”
“Steve’s alive,” I said. I chuckled a bit in disbelief before everything went black.
When I came to, the first thing I saw was Natasha and Clint staring at me. “What happened?” I looked around me and saw the man standing there, playing with his tie nervously. “Is it true? Can I see him?”
“Uh,” he looked at Clint and Natasha, but they weren’t my parents. I pushed myself up, giving myself a head rush that I brushed up.
“I need to see him, please. I have to apologize for what I said to him last!”
 “Woah, slow down kid.”
“You just fainted. Slow down a little bit!”
“No, it’s important,” I said. “You, man, what’s your name?”
“Agent Casper Matthews, ma’am,” Casper said.
“Ok, Agent Casper Matthews, take me to my brother please.”
 “Right away, ma’am,” he said.
“Hold on,” Natasha said grabbing my hand. I stopped and looked at her.
“Please. I have to see him,” I said. “I know I fainted but believe when I say I feel better. If you’re really concerned about me then come along.”
Her and Clint shared a look while I left to follow Agent Matthews but I heard their footsteps coming after me and smiled to myself.
I haven’t seen Steve since that fateful day, 66 years earlier.
 “It’s not about the war.”
I don’t know how many sleepless nights I spent thinking over our fight, and how wrong I was to try to stop Steve from going. How many times I wished he’d came back that day so I could apologize. How many hours I spent wondering what he meant.
“This is something that I need to do.”
His words were in my head. I can hear them clearly as if he just spoke them. He said “need” and not “want”. Of course he needed to do it; the world was at stake. Why did it need to be Steve though?
My fingers drummed on my knee in an unsteady pattern as thoughts kept going over in my head. There were so many things that happened between the training room and the car we were in now. They told me that they were still melting the ice off of him, and that once he was completely thawed out they would put him in a room and warm him up, and let him wake up on his own. Like they had done with me, except I wasn’t frozen when they found me.
“How are you going to tell him?” I asked. “Will you send Natasha in for him too?”
“We were thinking we would send you.” I immediately rejected the idea as I needed time to prepare myself to face him.
I recognized where we were. The monitors showed Steve sleeping in a bed, in a phony hospital room.
“He’s gonna see right through this,” I told the SHIELD agents sent to monitor him. Clint and Natasha were acting as my guards. “Especially that radio. You should just shut it off.”
“We can’t do that from out here, ma’am,” one of the techs spoke curtly.
“Do you even hear what’s on the radio?” I raged. My heart rate was starting to increase so I took a deep breath. “It’s an old game from 1941. We were there,” I said calmly. “Steve wouldn’t forget that.”
The tech actually looked nervous but before she could do anything Steve woke up. I sighed and hugged myself, watching with a held breath. A woman walked in and I almost rolled my eyes.
“Did anybody even do research on what life was like for us back then?” I asked. Nobody answered me and I shook my head, turning away from the monitor and waiting for Steve to do something. Anything.
A loud crash broke me from my thoughts and Natasha and Clint immediately took a fighting stance while I turned around, searching for the noise. I saw Steve emerge from the fake room and gawking at the two men he threw through the wall.
There he was. After 66 years. Standing right in front of me. My brother. Steve.
The feeling didn’t last long as he sprinted from the room, throwing the doors open like they were nothing.
 “Madi wait!”
I ignored my friends as I chased after him while the intercom announced that we had a Code 13.
“Steve!” I shouted, but I was one of many calling for him. Other SHIELD agents who didn’t want to get pushed away from Steve tried to stop me instead but I used more aggressive tactics to clear a path. “STEVE!”
Just as he was about to reach the door, I should his name again. “STEVE!”
He stopped short and turned. Our eyes met and I couldn’t help but tear up.
 “Steve?” I said again.
“Madi?” He used my same tone.
 “It’s me,” I said. “I’m here.”
Steve got a confused look on his face. “What? How? Why? Where are we?”
“We’re… We’re in New York, brother. Only, it’s 66 years later.”
 “What?” He asked.
“You’ve been asleep, Cap,” another voice cut in, and I flinched as I realized it was my boss Nick Fury. “For almost 70 years.”
“They found the ship in the ice,” I said. “The one you crashed.”
Steve looked down and I could practically hear his thoughts; I’m sure they were similar to mine when I realized my situation.
“Are you going to be ok?” Fury asked him. Steve looked around once more, at all the agents keeping their guard up ready to take him down. He scanned the interior of the room, the modern architecture and utilities.
 “I’m fine,” he said. “I just… I had a date.”
Peggy.
“Agent Barnes,” Fury said. “Why don’t you take your brother home and get him caught up.”
“Yes sir,” I said and stepped towards Steve. He didn’t move as he peered out the window, at the busy and crowded streets of modern-day Times Square, New York. “Oh.” I turned around and saw Clint and Natasha standing towards the back of the room. “I’m gonna need a ride.”
“You got it, kiddo,” Clint said. Natasha nodded and they took off, supposedly to get a car. “We’ll pick you up there in five minutes.”
After the other agents were dismissed, I moved to stand by Steve. He didn’t move or speak as I stepped closer to him, and I didn’t have the heart to say anything just yet either. I also didn’t want anyone else to hear what I had to say to Steve, even though I didn’t know what I wanted to say yet.
Clint and Natasha drove us 20 minutes to downtown Brooklyn where I lived. Once we got there, Steve stood on the street looking around while I had a quick chat with my friends.
“Don’t hesitate to call us for anything,” Natasha said. “But Clint and I will be leaving in a few days.”
“I remember,” I said. “And I will call you, thank you.”
“Take it easy, kiddo,” Clint said. I stepped back from their sleek car and watched them drive away before walking over to Steve.
“This is close to where Bucky used to live, isn’t it?”
“It is,” I smiled and took in the unfamiliarly familiar sight of my neighborhood. “Home is home, you know? Want to come inside?”
Steve only nodded his head and I led him to my apartment, only asking him if he was hungry.
“The food’s a little better,” I said. “We don’t have to boil everything anymore.” While I made us a simple but tasty lunch, Steve took a self-guided tour of my apartment.
“I can’t believe you still have this,” he said. I looked up from my stove to see he was studying the wedding photo. His eyes were lingering on Peggy, and Bucky, and Howard.
“It’s hard to believe, isn’t it? We’re here and they’re not.”
 “Are they all gone?”
“Peg’s still here,” I said. “She’s actually the one who calmed me down when I found out.”
Steve’s brows furrowed and he turned back to me. “When you found out what?”
 “That it’s 2011?”
“How are you here?” He asked.
“After your ship crashed, I came back to New York. Howard gave me a place to stay while he went looking for you. He found the Tesseract instead and brought it to his lab. Just, a freak accident happened and the Tesseract zapped me and Stefan into space and – ”
 “Stefan?”
“My son?” I said. Steve looked at me sadly. I smiled. “I have a son, Steve. Stefan James Barnes, born June 20, 1945.”
 “Is he…?”
“He’s still alive,” I said. “I hope. God.” I turned back to the stove and shuffled some pots around. “A lot of things happened between then and now. Stuff you couldn’t possibly believe.”
“Well, your father was an alien. How much crazier can this stuff be?” Apparently my story was crazier than the fact that my father was an alien. I was grateful that Steve believed me, but I suppose my tattoo and my sword and just the demonstration of my powers was enough to convince him. He did get sad when I told him how I ended up back on Earth, without Stefan. After I finished my story we both ate our lunch in silence. When we finished I sat back and stared at my brother, grateful for his presence.
“So what do now?” He asked.
I wanted him to get caught up in the world. I wanted him to go see Peggy. I wanted to tell him about her disease. I wanted to tell him about Howard, and how his son Tony was just like him. I wanted him to be in SHIELD with me so that we could keep an eye on each other now that I could actually fend for myself. I wanted us to go back in time, but I knew there was no way that could happen.
 “I don’t know,” I said.

saturday, wait
Tumblr media
the here and now; sequel to another certain time and place (read the full series in my masterlist)
ii. saturday, wait the one where time starts to catch up wc: 2454 warnings: mentions of depression, bad words, and fluff
---
The skies of Toronto opened up Saturday morning at about 5am. She only knew this because there was a gutter that ran above the window on their bedroom balcony door that constantly overfilled. The steady drip drip woke her up from a very lovely dream to a cold and lonely bed.
Shawn had been gone for just over a month now and the loneliness was beginning to set in. He’d insisted she move into the condo before he left, so they scattered at the last second to bring all her things over in time for him to take off on the last leg of tour. She rolls over to stare at Shawn’s unmade side of the bed and sighs. There’s not a single wrinkle in the white of his duvet. The condo still didn’t feel like it was quite theirs; but more like she was on an extended house sitting visit. She played through the motions (oftentimes accidentally setting off his stereo system that she still didn’t know how to work) and kept the household going.
She watches the fat drops of water slam and streak down the glass of the balcony door. The skies seem to hang low today, and everything is covered in a sheet of gray. She grabs her phone to confirm the time and rolls her face into her pillow to scream in frustration.
There’s an itch she can’t quite scratch. It’s the weekend - which means she doesn’t have to do anything. But she can’t stand staying at the condo, it’s a constant reminder that Shawn isn’t here and she is. It’s like a tomb of memories that she can never escape, every step is a reminder that he’s on the road and she’s not waking up in his arms every morning. But, she lacks the energy to actually do anything. Plans with friends go cancelled and never rescheduled, and as the days pass she becomes increasingly homebound, despite the pain it causes her.
Tossing and turning, she ends up staring at the ceiling. She watches the memories project onto the ceiling like old school films, playing over and over, just there to remind her of her loneliness. There’s no escape from him here, but her brain and heavy heart tell her to just stay in bed.
Just get up and pee, go make yourself some toast, pour a cup of coffee, anything. She begs to herself but its like she’s chained to the bed and without the responsibilities of work (on the days she’d actually shown up lately), she can’t seem to make herself move.
Around six thirty her phone buzzes. Her eyes blink lazily. She knows it’s Shawn but she’s not in a rush to answer. Despite missing him at the depths of her core she’s not desperate for him. She doesn't want FaceTime or phone calls, she doesn’t want a goodnight text or a morning meme. She wants him here, next to her in this empty fucking bed.
 Her hand reaches onto the bedside table and grabs her phone. Of course it’s a message from Shawn as she suspected. It’s a simple one;
good morning, gremlin. i know you’re probably still snoozing but i wanted you to have something to wake up to. day off today, so call me when you get up and we can facetime a bit. love youuuuuuuuuuuu.
It almost hurts to smile, it’s been a while.
hi bub. feeling down this morning and could stand to hear your voice. call me when you’re able to, i’m just laying in bed.
The phone rings almost instantly, “hi baby,” Shawn says, his voice low, still groggy with sleep.
“Hi,” she manages, her own voice cracking.
“What’s got you up so early?” He asks.
 “Rain.”
Shawn laughs, “that damn gutter, huh?”
 “Yeah.”
He notices her shortness and knows it’s not from tiredness but tells himself so anyways. He doesn’t want to be a thousand miles away worried about his girlfriend back at home. Maybe he’ll call his mom later to pop over and check on her or call a mutual friend to take her out for lunch. Shawn knows she’s taken it hard, it was a different type of goodbye now than before when they were just friends.
“Do you have any plans this weekend?” Shawn asks.
She yawns, “not really. Maybe read a book or do some laundry.”
“Oh,” he pips, “I could have my mum come over and visit for a bit.”
“You don’t have to do that Shawn,” it comes out almost venomous.
He sighs, “I’m just worried. People have been telling me you’re not going out much, cancelling on them last minute. Are you okay, baby?”
She breathes in deep and lets out a long single breath, “no.”
There’s no stopping the floodgate of tears that happens then. It’s not just him being gone, either. Work is exhausting and uninspiring and she feels herself slipping away from the things she loved to do, and the people she loved to do things with.
“Fuck, I wish I could come home,” Shawn breathes.
He doesn’t make her talk, he doesn’t ask questions. He just lets her cry and it takes everything in his power not to cry with her because he can feel his heart shattering as she gasps for breaths between sobs and he hates himself for not being there and holding her in his arms.
When she’s finished, she’s silent. Neither of them speak for a while and she waits until her breathing has returned to normal and her face is wiped dry of tears to speak, “I’m sorry.”
“W-what?” Shawn sputters, “baby, do not apologize. I want to make sure you’re alright. I’m gonna come home. I don’t care if it’s for an hour. I’m coming home. If I leave for the airport now there’s a flight that will get me there this afternoon. Can you pick me up at the airport at three?”
“Shawn that’s crazy, you’re going to be so tired. I’ll go see your parents or something. I’ll be fine, I’m just in a funk,” she pleads. The last thing she wants to do is cause issues and force him home just because she’s sad.
Well, she’s more than just sad she thinks. She’s depressed, and she knows it. And the sooner she accepts it, the better off she’ll probably be. Depression is a slippery and nonlinear slope. At first she trips into it, noticing she’s more disengaged than usual, then the anxiety and overthinking kicks in, followed up with isolation until eventually the days blend so fluidly together she can’t tell if it’s June or Saturday.
She can never pinpoint exactly when it happens, at least not until she’s drowning in her own sorrow and can’t get herself out. When bed is the only place she wants to be and she hasn’t eaten or drank in thirty-six hours.
“No, I’m coming home or I’m bringing you to me. Take your pick.”
 She sighs, “just come home.”
 ---
Her thumb nervously taps the steering wheel as she waits outside the arrivals terminal at Toronto Pearson. She’s chewed her lower lip in to bits and it’s sore and chapped. She hadn’t bothered to get dressed, and wore one of Shawn’s teeshirts and a pair of leggings for the occasion. There’s a metallic taste when she chews on her nail beds, adding to the already scabbed hangnails that adorned her fingertips.
Shawn spots her first and runs towards the Jeep. He throws open the passenger’s side door and wraps his arms around her, his elbow hitting the horn and scaring them both. He pulls back and her face feels heavy in his hand. A tired and empathetic, “baby,” is all he can say.
They drive home in silence, their fingers interlaced. Shawn peppers kisses on the back of her hand and up her arm but sparks no reaction. His heart sinks into his stomach. It’s so fucking painful to see her like this, so radically unlike herself. There’s no sarcastic quip, or banter or even fucking speck of his usual girl in there and that terrfies him.
“What do you want to do for dinner?” He asks, rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb.
 She shrugs, “don’t know.”
“When’s the last time you ate?”
 She shrugs again, “can’t remember.”
Shawn’s head rests on her shoulder and he lets out a sigh, “will you please come back with me?”
She can feel the tears bubbling up again. She wants to say yes, she wants to say yes so fucking bad. But she knows Shawn and being with Shawn will not be the end all cure all. The thing about depression is, it doesn’t just go away with a change of scenery. It’ll go dormant for a while, sure; weeks, months, years even, if you’re lucky. And then all of a sudden it shows up again out of nowhere like a bad rash and it’s back to square one all over again.
“I don’t think that’ll help, Shawn,” she says as they pull into the parking garage at the condo.
He treads lightly, “I don’t want to start an argument with you baby, I just want you to feel your best again. At least if we’re together you aren’t alone.”
 Her hand leaves his and she puts the Jeep into park, shuts off the ignition and unclicks her seatbelt. She thinks, hard. It’s the hardest she’s thought in a while and she forgets the feeling of trying to rationally mull something over. Her forehead tingles a little, and she weighs the options that Shawn has presented to her;
One; stay home. Stay home at the condo, wake up Monday through Friday and work a job where she’s disrespected, underappreciated, but is making connections that will hopefully help her in the future of her career.
Two; leave with Shawn. Go on tour with Shawn and live on a stinky tour bus with two other boys and wake up in a new city every day. But at least they were together.
 “I’ll do it.”
Shawn doesn’t think he’s ever smiled so big in his life.
 “Really?”
 She nods.
“Well let’s go get you packed then.”
 ---
An hour later the bedroom is strewn about with clothes and an open suitcase lying in the middle of their king sized bed. She folds, unfolds, and refolds everything. Nothing seems to fit and it’s making her teeth itch. Shawn just keeps digging through the closet, holding up a random item of clothing and saying ‘this’? When he does it for what seems like the thousandth time, she snaps.
“Shawn just go in the fucking living room and I’ll finish packing, okay! You’re messing everything up, throwing my shit all around. Just let me finish the packing!”
He tries not to let it hurt him. It’s the most emotion he’s gotten out of her in weeks and he supposes it’s a step in the right direction. It’s better than the alternative. Shawn closes the gap between them in a few long strides and kisses her forehead.
“That’s fine. Just let me know if you need anything and I’ll go book our flight for the morning, alright? I’ll order some dinner and we can take a shower together?” He kisses her temple, and then her chin, and then her jaw.
“Okay,” she starts, “and I’m sorry for yelling.”
Shawn kisses the top of her head, “it’s alright. I love you.”
When he leaves the room she sits on the edge of the bed, staring at the half packed suitcase beside her. She realizes her decision was rash, she’ll have to call her boss on Monday morning and tell her she’s not coming back...like ever, tell her friends that she'll be gone for basically the rest of the year, and her brain was still searching for a way to explain all of this to her mother. But the last part was for another day when her brain wasn’t feeling so scattered.
It’s remarkable how quickly she finishes packing when Shawn is out of the room. She finds him in the kitchen making two drinks and dancing around, singing under his breath as he grabs his ingredients from around the room. She has to hide her chuckle when he spots her, covering her mouth with her hand. Shawn reaches his hand out for her to come dance with him.
The moment her hand is in his, he pulls her close, letting their bodies bump together. He cups her face and gives her a kiss and feels her relax against him, “I missed you,” he says, brushing his nose against hers for an eskimo kiss.
“Can we take that shower now?” She asks, kissing his chin.
Shawn laces their fingers together and leads them across the condo to the bathroom. She sits on the counter and watches him fuss with the knobs to find the perfect temperature. He wipes his wet hand on his jeans and turns back to her. They undress each other slowly. It’s not sexual in the slightest, but a caring gesture. She steps in first, letting the rainfall showerhead cascade over her.
It feels so impossibly good. It’s revitalizing and awakening. Her senses come to and she’s suddenly hyper aware of Shawn standing at the corner of the stall. He waves and she grabs his hand to pull him under the water with her. He turns her body facing away from him, pressing himself against her back and wrapping an arm around her waist. He peppers wet kisses down her shoulders and across her back.
“Can I wash your hair?” Shawn asks, his fingertips tracing across her belly.
She answers as a chill runs through her, it had been so long since she felt his fingertips pressed into her, “yes.”
Shawn smirks and grabs the shampoo bottle from the shelf, squirting way too much into his hand and globbing it into her hair. His fingers move without much precision and there’s fits of giggles as he tries to style her heavy hair into various hairstyles. It feels good to laugh and she’s sure the feeling won’t last long, but she’s happy to be back in her cotton candy cloud for a little while.
When they finish they just hold each other for a while under the warm stream of water. It was terrifying and exciting all at once and it was the first time in too long that she actually felt anything more than an exhausting, draining sadness. Even though they’d been friends for years, the relationship is still so new.
Will we grow tired of each other? She thinks.
And she doesn’t have that answer right now, and she won’t have that answer until much later.

I loooooooooovvve your villainsxfamily stuff! Is there a possibly chance I can request dabi and son angst? I read your villains as dads and liked how you wrote dabi with his son and how it can be not so pleasant all the time
Yes of course!!!!
Tumblr media
“The hell did you say?”
“You heard me! You. Suck. Leave.”
“You wanna run that by me one more time you little shit? I brought you into this world and I’ll take your ass out of it.”
“Mom brought me into this world not you, villain!”
Dabi’s bright blue eyes gleamed with rage. He loved his son but he was growing tired of these outbursts and his own son telling him to leave. Not even realizing it, Dabi’s left side began to burn with blue flames as he witnessed his sons right side burn the same color…
“Mom and I are better off without you! It’s not like you’re ever here anyway to actually protect her!”
“I’ve done a lot more than you thi-“
“The last time someone found her she would’ve died if it wasn’t for me coming home from school on time! And the only reason she was attacked was because of your stupid little gang playing league of villains!!”
His sons eyes began to brighten as his wrath continued… his right side burning with such intensity that his clothes started to disintegrate… Dabi’s son was slowly losing control over his quirk… And Dabi knew if he didn’t act fast, his son would end up with the same damaged skin as himself.
“I’ll,” -Dabi’s blue flames subsided- “I’ll leave, just calm your ass down.”
His eyes were full of pain as he said those words… and his son could see it clear as day but it didn’t change his son’s mind. He loathed his father for never being around, and that wasn’t about to change anytime soon. Dabi knew he let his son down and that he had become the parent he never wished to be… But at least he had the balls to walk away and leave the family he created… So they could live in peace.
“Don’t bother waiting to say goodbye to mom, just get out now! Before you cause her more pain!”
Dabi’s body felt heavy… Did you loathe him just as much?
Without another word Dabi took his tattered jacket and left his once home…
Tumblr media
Walking through the alleyways, Dabi kept his head low as he wandered through the city… Pondering about whether or not he was just like his shit of an old man…
“Tch.” Clicking his tongue, Dabi raises his head for a brief moment… Has he really failed as a father…. As a lover….?
Tumblr media
"(S/N), Dabi, I'm hom-" Stopping in the middle of the doorway, you took a moment to sniff, was Dabi attempting to cook again? It smelt of something burning, mild, but it was there…
"(S/N)? Da-"
"Stop saying his name!"
With a heavy sigh, you closed the front door and lean against it… 'Again…?' Sulking for a brief moment, you ponder if Dabi has taken his leave yet or not…. 'Of course he has…'
Propelling yourself off the door, you make your way to your son's room only to find him holding a pillow in his steamy arms… It was apparent that this argument had gone too far this time…
"Can I come in?"
Nodding his head, your son looked out his window as you sullenly walk towards his bed. Placing yourself on the plush bedding, you didn't know where to start… Dabi wasn't around by choice, so you figured you'd start there...
“Your father never wanted to become a villain you know… He’s- …. he’s gone through a lot… and he probably left not because you won the fight, but…” -looking at your son you place your hand on his neck where he had a small burn caused by his intense quirk- “ but because he loves you and wanted to keep you safe."
Looking away from you, your son's eyes closed in order to stop himself from releasing a single tear…
"Why are you defending him?!" Smacking away your hand on his neck, your son stood up, his eyes still shut… "Why are you defending such a monster!? He's never around! He doesn't love us! He only comes around when he's bored!! Be honest!!" Swaying his head side to side, clear tears flicked across the room. Your son truly loathed Dabi, and truth be told you couldn't blame him… Dabi really wasn't around like a father should be, and when he was around the two would do nothing but compete with one another to see who could take care of you better…
"(S/N)..." -Pulling your son into your chest, you hold him close so he knows its okay to let it all out- "It's going to be okay, I promise."
Tumblr media
Leaning against a tree, Dabi peers up at the hospital window. As he watches the white haired woman smile and laugh with three others, he too smirks ever so slightly. Fading fast his smirk vanishes, Dabi had taken note how their father was no where to be found... That it was just the mother and her four-... three children...
Is this what yours and his son's future looked like? It was rare for Dabi to feel much of anything anymore, but in this moment his chest not only felt heavy, but as if his heart was trying to scratch its way out... Gripping onto his white shirt, Dabi knew he needed to head back and make amends before he lost the two of you for good.
Tumblr media
It wasnt long before Dabi had found his way back home and just as his heart was nearly steady and calm... A storm had picked back up inside of him as he witnesses your front wooden door cracked with scratches...
Throwing himself inside, Dabi calls out to you and his son.
There's no reply...
The lights are all off and theres no sign of either one of you... Had he been too late... was this... had he truly lost you both?
Keeling over halfway, Dabi's trembling hands hold tight on his knees as sweat drips from his forehead... His onxy hair clinging to his face. He was panicking...
Biting his lower lip, he had one last room to check, (s/n)'s room... Struggling for just a moment, Dabi found himself standing tall, his hand ablaze with blue flames....
His sons door had matched the front, open slightly with scratches... There was no going back...
Quietly, Dabi entered his sons room... with his first step, Dabi's eyes widen...
There on his sons bed, was a white kitten curled up with both his son and you...
Extinguishing his flame, Dabi crept closer to the bed so he too could curl up with the family he had help make. Securely he wrapped his arm around you and his son... Dabi knew that his son would rage the moment he awakened, but Dabi needed to be there... He needed to feel the warmth of his family... And he needed his son to know that he was there to stay.
~ Love Kiwi xoxo

Sirius Black, Hogwarts greatest table-flipper.
Well, it’s been some time since I’ve posted something and I’m really sorry for that. School just has been a pain in the ass for the last month. But I wanted to thank you for all your support. For every like and comment I get, it truly means the world to me!!
Anyway, I dug out this masterpiece *cough cough* like half an hour ago and decided I would just post it. It’s a really short blurb I’ve written at one point. It’s nothing special but I wanted to post it anyways. So here you go.
It’s Marauders x Fem!Reader (platonic).
Warnings: Prof. Binns HoM class, maybe some swearing and probably some grammar mistakes
Word count: 670 (it’s so short .-.)
(Gif is not mine)
(lol, here should be a gif but it doesn’t work. i’ll try later again.)
It was a well-known fact that Professor Binns’ History of Magic class was so boring that you were close to die yourself as soon as the ghost stepped – or floated – into the classroom. It wasn’t uncommon that students or the professor himself feel asleep in this class.
It was Friday, the last class for the sixth grade Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, the last class that kept them away from a beautiful autumn weathered Hogsmeade weekend. Some students didn’t even come to class, knowing it wasn’t worth it.
Y/N sighed. Looking out of the window she could see colourful leaves falling from the trees. Turning her head back to the front of the class, she faced the silvery figure of Professor Binns floating two feet above the ground explaining something to the Hufflepuffs that sat in the first row and were just too kind to fall asleep in class. Next to her a head hit the table, not that it interested Binns.
“Honestly, I’m going to die from boredom.” Sirius murmured and Y/N grinned at him.
“I can feel that.” She said looking over his head at James who was helplessly trying to flirt with Lily, who was, surprisingly, trying to focus on the facts that Binns threw at them. “Merlin help this boy. Prongs still tries to get Lily, that boy is persistent.”
Y/N ripped an edge of her parchment, crinkling it up into a ball and throwing it at the brown-haired boy in front of her.
“What is it Y/N/N?” Remus said as he turned around.
“Nothing, just bored. What’s Pete doing?” Y/N grinning at the tall boy. Remus rolled his eyes.
“He fell asleep two minutes into class. I’m surprised you two aren’t asleep as well.” He said looking from Y/N to Sirius.
“We would, but watching Prongs trying to get Lily is far more amusing.” Sirius said.
Remus turned back around, and the lesson continued. Professor Binns voice was so monotone it lulled everyone to sleep and so Y/N was close to falling asleep on her table as Sirius picked at her hair.
“What is it Padfoot? I’m trying to get some sleep here.” Y/N said slowly lifting her head again.
“How much money would you give me to flip this table, right here, right now, in the middle of class?” Sirius said, grinning at her.
Y/N eyes widened. “That’s insane, but nothing you wouldn’t do. You’d probably even get out of it without detention.” She thought about it. “I’ll buy you a butterbeer.” Sirius was close to protest but considering the chance that this action would get him out of this terrifyingly boring class and into the weekend plus a free butterbeer, he agreed.
And so, it happened. Sirius Black stood up and flipped his table in the middle of Professor Binns History of Magic class. With a loud crash the table landed on the floor and all of Sirius’ parchment rolls spread over the ground. The entire class flinched, and students shot up from their slumbers. Binns stopped in the middle of his sentence to look at Sirius.
“Now what was this for, Mr Black?” Binns asked slowly.
“I just couldn’t keep it together anymore Professor. Your historic facts are so interesting, I- I just can’t believe it. I’m terribly sorry for interrupting you, but I just couldn’t- I’m- I’m so sorry.” Sirius said picking up his table up and placing it back in front of him.
“Well, thank you Mr Black. I didn’t know my facts were so moving for some of you.” And with that Binns turned back and continued babbling historic facts. Y/N snorted.
“Merlin, Sirius you’re a genius.” She snickered.
“Thank you very much.” Sirius said, grinning at her. “I earned that butterbeer.”
“Hell yes you did.” Y/N says still chuckling.
Remus who had turned in his chair shook his head at his friends. They really were something else.

KH DnD : Between Dawn to Dusk Session 17 Summary
The group head back to the Wayfinder Guild where they find Levi waiting outside the guild. He explains that Ven and Kairi are contacting the other Masters about the situation and will call them inside in a few moments.
The group talked among themselves when Chirithy open the door, telling the group to come inside. Blank goes to say goodbye but is told to come in too.
The group find themselves in front of Master Ventus and Master Kairi with a hologram image of Master Yen Sid. Master Yen Sid introduces himself to the group before the Masters began to talk.
Ven explains the situation with Aithne. How she has choose to go with Vantias and explains that Vantias is a dangerous, controller creature, someone that shouldn't be trusted.
Kairi asked Rotti what he knew about the Corrupted as Levi had mentioned it to her during their partol. Rotti explains members of his village suffering from the corruption and turning into monsters. They ask the group to continue finding more information about the Corrupted.
Due to Vanitas' comments in the cave, North questions what he meant. Kairi and Ven explain that when they had tried to revive Sora many years ago using the Princesses of Heart's powers, they found that they had started to revive keybladers from the age of fairytales.
Eden starts to get angry and both Ven and Kairi, realising that she's one of these keybearers that was revived, as well as feeling betrayed from Aithne's actions. At this point, Levi realises that this must be the case for himself and Shiva as he couldn't connect the dots between leaving home and being found in Cable Town.
Kairi explains that some of the keybearers that had got revived ended up coming back as Corrupted, tainted light from being pulled from death and explains that Ven and herself have been trying to create a remedy for this. Eden, at this point, heads to her room, too angry to listen.
Master Yen Sid continues that if the group was to go to other worlds, they need to gather light blue crystals found in each world. Finding enough of them should be able to aid Kairi in her research.
Kairi turns to Blank and asks him for his assistance in this, explaining that the group can use her gummi ship to go to different worlds. With a warm smile, Blank accepts.
OBJECTIVE: Find Aithne. Find the blue crystals in the worlds. Find out more about the Corrupted.
Ven heads out with Blank to aid in getting the gummi ship ready for the group. Jason quickly asks Master Yen Sid before he goes if anyone had survived from his village.
Master Yen Sid explains that from the village of Dawn, there was one survivor. When Batty asked if he can sense where Aithne was, he explains that he sensed her briefly in the Realm of Darkness, though not 100%.
With the meeting over, the group decide to head to bed to prepare for the next day.
During the night, Levi finds himself woken up by Eden searching through his room. Seeing Levi, she asks him for his star shard, only to tell her that he had given it back to Ven already. She goes to say that she will go search his room when Levi asks her what's wrong.
Eden expresses her betrayed from not being told the truth about where the two of them came from and confused about the two of them. She explains that since healing up from her 'death', she keep having dreams of the two of them fighting, disagreeing, travelling together but realises that they were memories for her past life.
Levi tells her that they should look at this as a second chance since they have been revived and that she should stay with the group. Eden points out that she died for someone in his group, only for them to go to enemy. She asks hom how well does she know Rotti and Batty. She goes to say she only trust him. Levi explains that they will only find the truth if they all stick together. After some convincing, Eden agreed to stay with them.
The next morning, the group are woken by banging on the guild door. Kairi, who had stayed the night, answered the door to find Huey, Dewey amd Louie. The triples ask for their help, mainly Jason's and Rotti's, as something is wrong with Webby.
Before they could find out more, explosions started to appear in Radiant Garden, as well as a sight of a Twilight Thorn. Ven told Huey, Dewey and Louie to wait at the guild while they deal with the Nobodies.
When they enter Radiant Garden, they see the mage guards trying to keep the citizens safe from dusks. The Twilight Thorn throws one of the gummi ships towards the group, seperating Kairi, Ven and North from Levi, Eden, Jason, Rotti and Batty. Ven tells them to continue o while they go the long way.
As the team try to figure out a way to get to the town square as debris blocked their main route. Rotti flies up to get a good view point, only for some dusks to notice him and slam him down back to the group.
The others run after Rotti and begin to fight a collection of dusks. During the fight, the Twlight Thorn manages to grab Eden and Batty and drag them away from the others.
Levi, Jason and Rotti manage to deal with the Dusks, making good use of their class abilities. They find a path that lead them to the town sqaure. They see Blank managing to free Eden from TT's grip while Batty still remained trapped.
With Jason using his Anti Form, Levi using divine smite and Eden using her fire wall to trap the Twilight Thorn, they managed to defeat it with ease.
Jason loses himself to his darkness but Batty acts quickly and manages to Charm Jason. He tells him to calm down, allowing Jason to come out of his Anti Form before taking a moment to make Jason act silly until Jason snapped out of the charm.
Blank points out to the others that more Twilight Thorns have started to appear. He urges them to rush to the gummi ship. They hear a shout and see North running to them with the Dusks behind them. North turns to face them, turns her keyblade into her gun form and blasts them away before joining the others. North told them that Kairi and Ven wants them to go. The group doesn't hesitate. Blank and North gets the gummi ship up and running and everyone gets ready for a rocky ride.
Blank manages to take off before the Twlight Thorns notices (Nat 20). Batty notices from the view window that the Prima Vista took off as well, leaving the world.
The group managed to escape the battle on Radiant Garden, Eden wondered if they made the right choices.
