Oh no I forgot you ship Ted/Becca.
😆 Hi anon! I hope this doesn't ruin your day or anything, whomstever you are. If you don't ship it or ship something opposing or whatever's your bag, I'm sure we can still be friends, or whatever we are.
But I've been mulling this all over since the finale, and this is a good excuse to get my thoughts out. Because I come from ye old timey shipping days of "the idea of them together is cool, regardless of whether it happens or not." so that wasn't really my problem with the ending.
Here are the things that are true:
I really like themes and parallels. I like connecting dots and finding connections and all that jazz
The number of themes and parallels they set up between Ted and Rebecca was delicious and very fun for me.
My reaction to the finale is less upset than it is frustrated and confused.
My frustration isn't purely 'they didn't get together romantically so it sucks.' I had started making peace early S3 with realizing it probably wasn't gonna happen
I am frustrated because I wanted all those bits of cool narrative shit they laid out to Do Something
I am frustrated because it feels like Ted and Rebecca have had very few emotionally connected scenes since season one, and what's the point of parallel journeys and soulmateism if their journeys are going to stay so parallel and not join up more, and then just apparently diverge completely
And on the apparent diverging, I don't love it but it would have sucked less if their lines just matched up more in the middle! That could be poignant! But as is, it's more disappointing than tragic, because whatever potential was there wasn't almost realized and then lost, but instead just... never really approached. It feels wasted.
The show did not owe us them getting together, but what it did give us, I found unsatisfying. That's just a bummer, man.
Forgive me this metaphor but I cannot find a better way to put it: I am frustrated because I feel like I got ridden for 3 seasons while they went 'just wait it'll feel so good' and then they were like 'are you ready?' and then just hopped off and left.
I am confused because at the end of their story, I cannot figure out what I am meant to be feeling about it.
Again, I didn't need them to get together romantically, they totally could've found some other way to make it satisfying! But. Ted and Rebecca getting together romantically would have also tied it up in a lot of ways that worked and made the narrative satisfying.
Having a romance arc that works with their character arcs and the themes they've built on is just really cool as a story.
Obviously all that parallel journey stuff would've actually been leading them somewhere, ie to each other, yay woo
And not to each other just because they've been through similar shit, but because, as that last post said, among a lot of other reasons, they've been set up well to be what the other person needs.
Romance is not the be all, end all. But:
Ted and Rebecca both want to be in love with someone, someday.
Here is someone who already understands and balances and supports them.
Like, that's awesome. Is that not the qualities you want for them in a future romantic partner?
I can't see how it diminishes their friendship if it caries on very similar to it has been, just like, sometimes they smooch. Maybe I'm just too demisexual for this idk
Boat guy. I like boat guy, but he's a chiller version of Ted. I can't find that post that points out all the parallels there, but that episode by the time we got to Kenny Rogers I was like. Uh. Hm.
It's confusing to have boat guy have a beautifully intimate evening with Rebecca, all the while having so many specific details similar to Ted, and then just act like romantic Tedbecca is a wild, character-ruining concept.
Because the show ends with Ted leaving and Rebecca miserably walking out of the airport and straight into proxy-Ted. I have no idea how to feel about that.
I could keep going, but I'm about out for now, so uh. Woe, wasted Tedbecca potential be upon ye~

Anonymous letters #1,
Dear ,
Fuck you. Fuck you. I should have known better. I'm so stupid to have thought even only for a couple of days, that you could or would ever love me...
We're going in circles. Look at what you and I have both gone through. Look at what you're going through now. I can't believe you can't see me. What the fuck is wrong with me? Is it the way I look? You went from saying you'd [REDACTED] if I didn't [REDACTED] to putting me in a role I really don't want to be in. I'm upset, I'm confused, I'm hurt, I'm so tired I'm past the point of being sad anymore. It's just grief. Grieving my own life while I am still alive. Not just because of you of course, you're merely the sprinkles on top of the whole shit sundae.
As far as what you're going through now, that's when I found out, when I realized. I wanted to scream at and hurt the person that hurt you. I always want to do that for my friends but there was another level to it. At first I thought that hidden layer of anger was roiling beneath my bones because I knew exactly how it felt to have someone promise you the world, plan dreams with you, scheme the most beautiful future, and then drop you like a worthless sack of shit. Leaving you behind like the roadkill they were too weak and squeamish to put out of its misery after they wiped you off the pavement. Dragging your entrails behind them as they eat the last of your hollow gut until you are nothing but a skin. I onew how that felt and it made me seethe that someone would do that to you. I almost k1lled myself over that happening to me. After all the years of abuse I endured I was so angry by the time this happened I just broke.
The only reason I'm not considering death again is because I'm finally getting [REDACTED]. And even then I still have the "Emergency Exit" plan always in the back of my mind.
After this I realized there was another, deeper layer beneath, the molten rock heating the planetary body of my mind. I was so angry that someone would hurt you by leading you on the same way I experienced, and you went through it WAY longer than I did. I sincerely felt for your pain. Now my sympathy is sliding. But when I realized I wasn't just angry because they led you on and promised you and lied to you and dumped you just like I had experienced, I was angry because I thought "Well, but I would give you all those things. I'd love to give you all those things." and my pupils became blown with understanding.
I realized I loved you more than I thought. And love repulses me. I push you away. You don't want me. You think of me as a [REDACTED] and it freaks me out. I don't want you to think of me like that regardless of how I felt about you. I don't want that role. Is this what getting friendzoned feels like? I only know how it feels to have my body used and then dumped. I've never been through this. I love you different than I've ever loved someone. It feels weird and scary. And it feels even weirder and scarier because I'm scared you'd see me as a creep. When I'm just doing to you what you're doing to [REDACTED].
You chase after your friend because you're in love with them and would give them the workd, and you're angry she ignores you for someone shitty over and over, that she overlooks you, underestimates you, shirks you for less than she deserves. (Fuck it I'm saying she. I don't care, I'm letting it out somewhere. No one will ever find it here anyways.) She tells you that she loves you, has special moments with you, frequently expresses how much you mean to her. Are you connecting the dots? I've been doing that to you this whole time, hell, without me even realizing it til just recently.
I'm proud of you for taking your power back and ignoring her. Now I'm going to ignore you. And if I don't.... I don't know. I might grey rock. I just wish you'd give me a chance. I don't know how I want it to be just yet. I just want to know we could talk about it. To know you'd see my true intentions, that I want you to be happy. Even if you outgrew me, even if you got tired of me. You've just brought so much joy to my life. I've asked over and over for this angel to be sent to me, a real love that is true and wont hurt me or use me, and I've been so side tracted by worthless idiots and nonsense that I was too stupid to see it was obviously you. I don't care if we don't have a "traditional relationship". I just want to love you and to be seen as a legitimate option. I can give you land in the country, I can give you a house, I can give you love, and care, and protection. And I would.
But I won't. I love you differently because for the first time I love someone where I won't prioritize you above my safety, sanity, and peace. I've been doing the same thing to you that you did to [REDACTED] and now I'm ignoring you just like you are her, because she refuses to see you in all your greatness and splendor because she's too busy chasing someone who will never love her. Just. Like. You.
So for right now it's fuck you, I'm older and wiser, and I won't let you put me through [REDACTED] fucking years of this shit. Not me. I'm not that much of a clown. I've played the fool for enough people and I won't have you love me out of pity.
I thought you truly saw me for me and I was horribly wrong. I should have known the first time you hurt me, even though it wasn't intentional, that I should never have let you back in again and only pretended to until I left. But I did. Because I loved you. And you won't even try, because you're acting exactly like the person you both love and hate. I've waited my whole life for someone who loves the way I do, so intensely and true, and once again I've wasted my time on yet another person who will never see me, never love me, and never want me.
So right now it's fuck you. You missed me whule I was gone, huh? I don't think you missed me enough. I can see you're atleast attempting to start to get over her but it will take a long time. If I leave without your proverbial hand in mine I probably will never speak to you again.
May you only realize years later what you have done and the life you could have had, and may you bow your head and weep like a concrete angel over the tomb of your own regrets. I should have known better than to ever even let you in at all.
Fuck you. I'm not a [REDACTED], I'm not your "[REDACTED]", I'm your fucking match. And you won't see me. What a load of absolute rubbish. Release me. You disappoint me with how smart you are yet how naive you can be. I should have patience but I don't. I'm tired.
Fuck you. Goodnight.

The Prenup
Summary: After four years of being together and finally being engaged, Chris wants you to sign a prenup.
Tumblr media
Chris Evans x Reader
Warnings: angst, swearing, chris getting his ass handed to him, a lot of pain.
Part Two Part Three Part Four Final Chapter
Tumblr media
Scrounging through the little desk in the corner of Chris and you's bedroom, you hear him let out a boisterous laugh.
He was watching some movie and there was a certain part that he found so hilarious. After 4 years of watching it with him constantly, you still don't get what's so funny. But it makes him happy so that's what matters.
You were searching for the wine opener so Scott could get his middle-aged-4-kids-divorcee vibe on. You cleaned the other day and stuck it in there after a nightly dose of freakydeaky from Chris, which consisted of wine, whipped cream, and a many different forms of chocolate.
After what seemed like forever, you find the corkscrew and grin at your accomplishment. You take one more look in the drawer out of habit and you spot a big orange envelope with Chris' name on it. Being the nosy curious person you are, you take the envelope out and get a good look at it. You see the words Prenuptial Agreement in bold and your heart drops.
Chris had proposed to you 9 months ago and you were happy beyond words. After being together for 4 years, he finally put away his commitment troubles and made you his fianceé. And now you find out he's going to get you to sign a prenup. A fucking prenup.
You look around the room at loss for words. You were angry, hurt and confused. After 4 years of being together, he doesn't have faith in his own judgment that you guys would be together forever? You both have been through literally everything. There isn't one thing you don't know about each other. Your relationship was rare and it was special.
After moments of contemplation, you decide you would confront him on it. There's no way you could carry on the night and sleep after this. Not until you get your answers. Closing the drawer, you take a sharp breath and exhale before walking out the room. You get back to the dining table where Lisa and his siblings surrounded.
"Here you go Scott" you say slamming the corkscrew on the table in front of him. He looks up at you, puzzled. You glance at him then at Chris and he's looking at you just the same. Evidently your tone matched your movements because everyone went silent. You draw back and put both hands behind your back and huff.
"Babe, are you alright?" It was Christopher talking to you now. Your attention goes to him and your lips are in a thin line. Refraining from blowing up at him, you force smile on your face and change your tone of voice.
"What do you mean, honey? I'm fine." You should leave the acting to Chris honestly. That's definitely not your field of expertise. Shifting on your right foot, you stare at him. He shuffles and tilts his head with a knowing look.
"Spill it Y/N. What's up?"
"The flames when I burn this damn house down." So much for not blowing up. You snatch the envelope in front of you and chuck it on the table. Everyone watches the exchange and the envelope fly to the table. All their faces change from confusion to shock and even more confusion.
Chris didn't even need to look down to know it was the prenup. His eyes went from you to the wall. Guilt written all over it, you almost wish you gave a shit. You wonder how long he was going to keep this hidden from you. No need to wonder now.
"You want to explain to me why you have a prenup?" You place your hand on your hip and roll your neck at him.
"I got that for us."
You swear to everything you wanted to lunge at him right then and there. 'I got that for us'. Why do people always use that excuse for everything? They weren't thinking about you, just themselves and expected you to go along with it.
"You got it for us? I know you didn't do this on your own. Who put you up to it?" You look around the room. Scott has his hands up shaking his head. Carly and Shanna both let out a quiet "not me". You look at Lisa who had this look of hurt.
"Chris, you tell me everything. How did I not know about this? Why didn't you tell me?" Well now you know she didn't suggest it. You feel slightly guilty for letting it cross your mind, but you had your reasons.
"Ma, I had my reasons. I kept it hidden because I didn't know how I felt about it myself" he says rubbing his face and fixing his hair under his cap. Still didn't answer your question.
"Christopher, who put you up to this? Tell me now!" You're getting fired up by the minute. You have an idea who it could be too.
"Megan. She thought that it would be smart to consider. Just to protect me."
"Megan." Your voice is laced with absolute venom. "You know Chris, she does a good job keeping you out of trouble and bullshit so you're not all over the tabloids, but sometimes, her ass is too much!"
Chris is never in the news for anything negative. He's always minding his business and moving quietly. Megan is a great publicist, but she can be pretty overbearing about his personal life. She gave you side eye for like the entire first year of you guys' relationship.
"Baby, she was just looking out for me. You know how it is, women getting with you for your money. Guys loose half of everything they have when getting divorces."
You can't even believe it.
"I am not 'women'. I'm your fianceé. We've been together 4 years, Chris! After all this time your material things come before me?" Tears are puddled at your eyes now and your voice is cracking. This catches his attention.
"I told you from the start Chris, that I never cared about your money! Never have and never will. I am used to not having much. I'm not money hungry or concerned for having top tier everything. I've learned to settle."
"Y/N, I didn't mea-" you slam your hand on the table, making everyone jump. Chris shuts his mouth.
"I'm. Not. Finished. I am not marrying your bank account. I'm not marrying your cars. I'm not marrying your house. I don't give a damn about any of that shit. And you literally are still concerned about all of that?" Your face is wet and your nose is runny. You wipe your nose and cross your arms.
"It's not even like that!" Now he's getting upset. For literally nothing. This is his fault. "It's just in case it doesn't work out, we don't need to deal with all the extra mess."
That completely shattered you. In case it doesn't work out. He actually has thoughts that your marriage couldn't work. What would even cause that? You guys don't even argue. You don't even remember the last time you did. You've learned to understand what each other needs and mastered that. What is he on about?
"You know what the sad part is? Us not working out crossed my mind in, like, the first year of our relationship. And I decided that if we did get married, and God forbid we divorced, I wouldn't take anything from you."
He looked at you like he just found out he wasn't the father of your baby.
"Yeah, Chris. That's your money. You made it, not me, so why would I ask for any of it from you? You gave me an amazing relationship and thats enough for me."
"Oh my goodness." Everyone directs their attention to Scott. "So you wouldn't want anything from the divorce?"
"Of course not! I came in this relationship for him. Plus a make my own money. I don't need anyone else's."
You had your own business. Many employees at different buildings in Boston. You didn't have much growing up and you were proud of yourself for not having to worry about financial issues. Chris liked that you had your own thing going and didn't have to adapt to his life and depend on him financially. And he still got a prenup.
Feeling like you were gonna cry again, you rub your temples and take deep breaths to prevent it. But you failed and started crying more. Chris got up and moved to stand in front of you.
"Baby, I'm sorry I upset you. I thought you would be okay with this. Like you said, you don't care about my money so what's wrong with the prenup?" His hands were on your sides, but not for long as you shook them off of you.
"What's wrong with it? What this is telling me is three things. You have doubt that our marriage won't work out, you think I might change my mind and ask for alimony, and that your money comes before me."
"I..." he struggles to form words. You take this chance to get out of there.
"I really don't want to be here right now." Chris looks up and grabs your arm.
"Babe, you don't need to go. Where the hell are you gonna go?" You turn and grab the envelope from the table. You open it and pull the papers out, shoving it in his face.
"I'll go to a hotel or something, but I'm not staying here if this is the shit you're trying to pull with me." You turn the paper to you and look in disgust. You scan over it and your eyes fall on the dotted line where you need to sign. Beside it is where he needed to sign his.
Well not anymore.
You read over his signature on the line. Chris Evans.
He signed the prenup already. Now he was just waiting for your signature. He really was leaving you zero choice.
"You signed it already??" Everyone at the table head snapped up. Shanna gasped and covered her mouth. Lisa mumbles an "oh no" under her breath.
"So you were just going to bring it to me and expect me to sign it with no fight, huh?"
Chris says nothing, but his face is red. You don't wait for a response and walk to your shoes and your bag. Already having everything in there, you slip your shoes on and walk back to Chris.
"Just a heads up, you brought this on yourself."
You whip around and walk to the fireplace. You chuck the papers and envelope in the blaze and turn back to him.
"You can forget about that damn prenup, cause I'm not signing it. As a matter a fact, you don't even have to worry about that because there won't be a chance of us divorcing." You force a smile and clasp your hands together. Lisa and Scott rise from the table panicking.
"Babe, no-"
"Forget the wedding, this engagement and all of it. You can take this fucking ring too." You pry the ring off your fingers and throw it at him. It hits his chest and falls at his feet.
"I'm not marrying you."
You turn on your heel, grab your purse and jacket, walking out the door, leaving the Evans' speechless.
Tumblr media
Was this too dramatic? I have my own opinions on a prenup, but maybe it's not as big as it seems? Idk🥴.

What are You?
A various!TokRev x slime girl! reader series.
Looking for a character? Check here! I may not have written for then yet so, please give me some time!
Tumblr media
a/n: IT'S CHIFUYU DAY IN THE STATES SO HAVE THIS BECAUSE HE IS MY FAVORITE AND I'M SUPERIOR. DID I MENTION I LOVE CHIFUYU. This is also pretty long because i love chifuyu
TW: mentions of stabbing, blood, Chifuyu gets jumped lmao, implied death of a random because slime reader is protective.
Tumblr media
Chifuyu!
Chifuyu tried to stay out of trouble as much as he could now that he was the owner of a pet shop. Knowing this though, wasn't enough to stop people from being assholes and beating up whoever came into their perfreferal vision. Chifuyu could do absolutely nothing, yet still be harassed. Due to this, he was often both hurt and relentlessly beating the shit out of anyone that attacked him. After forever working at the shop, he wanted to take a little walk around town before he headed to his car.
It was starting to rain by the time Chifuyu was done closing up, the puffy gray clouds covering the sky and shielding away what would've been the perfect day to walk. He let out an audible sigh, grabbing his umbrella and locking up the shop seeing as his coworker wasn't in today. Chifuyu opened the umbrella and began to walk, wanting the fresh air regardless of the day. Rain or shine, he really wanted to walk. If he was lucky, he'd run into a stray again. That was the only thing on his mind, so he walked down different alleys in hopes to find one. What he wasn't ready to find though, was a group of half assed thugs in the alley.
He took a bunch of deep breaths and sighed, finally walking past the group pretty hastily. His speed agitated those thugs, so they attack him first without any given warning. Chifuyu wasn't defenseless, just caught off guard. Which explains why they were able to get a few hits in on him. Chifuyu was a lot better than that though, being able to kick one person in the jaw and knock out two others with just his legs. He got up, and threw another swing towards a guy on his right. It hit the man right in the nose, knocking that man out and giving him a bloody nose.
A smirk came on Chifuyu's face, spittng out blood and tightening his fists while the rain poured against their bodies. Fighting in the rain brought him back to the fight with Moebius, beating people's faces in with his best friend Baji made his heart swell in nostalgia. Despite Baji not being by his side at this moment, he still felt as though Baji was getting ready to fight by him. He was ready to charge the remaining men, until he saw someone pull out a knife. Chifuyu's face went to a light pale at seeing the glint of the metal shine in his eyes. It wasn't going to stop him, even though it really should.
The man with the knife was pretty lanky, hair short and messy with a good amount of muscle on him got someone of his stature. Instead of Chifuyu charging though, the lanky man ran at him. Knife pulled back, he was ready to stab the pet store owner. However, all of the fighting was cut short. The man running suddenly stepped into a bright blue puddle that had suddenly appeared when it started raining. Black dots appeared in the puddle with light rosy cheeks and stared up at the man with the knife. The man found this to be... Eerie in its own special way. He threw his knife into the puddle, unsure of how to handle his current situation while Chifuyu simply stared at it. The knife went into the puddle and was never seen by the man again. The black dots suddenly moved to the other end of the puddle to look at Chifuyu and what the puddle saw made it's heart ache.
Chifuyu was lightly battered, nose bleeding and some bruises on his face. He didn't look like he needed medical attention, but to see thugs beat up someone who looked so peaceful made the puddle upset. The black dots now faced the man again, the dots now slanted down in anger. It started to jiggle, bright blue color fading into a more dark shade of red. The cheeks of the puddle turned into yellow thunderbolts and the puddle was heard making an audible growling sound. Chifuyu's fighting stance dropped, and the remaining two men simply stared in horror, watching as the lanky man suddenly began sinking. The red puddle crawled up the man too as he sank further and further down.
The sight looked horrifying. The man was letting out traumatizing screams, the knife that fell in the puddle began stabbing him in multiple places while he was sinking. The puddle was stretchy, like slime so, Chifuyu concluded it was slime. The red slime then completely absorbed him, slowly decomposing him and turning him into little particles inside the slime. The slime had ate the man. Everyone who witnessed the scene just stood there as the slime died down and turned back into it's bright blue color. The thugs bolted away from the ally in horror and Chifuyu was just frozen in place. The slime slowly inched towards him, climbing up pant leg with easy considering how it was wet from the rain. Chifuyu looked down at the slime in worry, hoping he would not be consumed.
The slime crawled on his shoulder, leaning closer to his battered face before suddenly giving him a light tap. Almost like a peck to the cheek of a lover. Chifuyu felt the small bit of slime travel across his face, soft and wet it was as it began to absorb the blood running down his nose. As it was absorbing, it cleaned his face too. The small bit of slime then came back to the larger blob on his shoulder, looking worried for his condition. The blood in the smaller chunk came into the bigger slime as they came back together, turning it into little particles and then giving him a happy shake. Chifuyu smiled at the slime, taking it in his hands and walking out of the ally to get back to his car. The rain was turning into little sprinkles by now, but he didn't mind it. He's completely dirty and soaked though.
As he held the slime, he tilts his head at it.
"You're like... A very protective cat. That can heal and turn colors."
He mumbled, while the slime boops his nose like at cat giving a kiss.
He felt his face dust with pink, chuckling at the slime's actions before suddenly hearing his old friend calling out to him.
"CHIFUYU!!!"
Takemichi called across the parking lot, running towards him.
"Oh hey, Partner!!"
He calls back, meeting him half way in the parking lot while holding the slime.
"Hey, this may sound weird but I think a bright blue liquid looking slime thing came around here and I- Oh shit you have her."
Chifuyu looked down at the slime in his hands, blinking.
"Her? The slime is a girl?"
"Well, the slime could identify as anything it chooses really, I just so happen to know who that slime is."
Chifuyu blinked more, staring at the slime intensely.
"The slime is someone?"
This was very confusing to our best boy, wondering how a slime could possibly be someone when it's only a blob in his hands.
"Yeah.... The slime you're holding right now.."
Chifuyu looks up at Takemichi, worry stitched back on his face.
"That slime, is Y/n."
Chifuyu almost dropped you after hearing that.
He looked back down at the slime. At you. His heart rate was picking up. You kissed his nose, you kissed his cheek and healed him, you... aa man for him. The more the realized that the slime was you, the closer he was to fainting.
"Y/N????"
His face was flushed now, red even.
You wrap your slime around Chifuy's thumb, refusing to budge each time Takemichi came to pick you up out of Chifuyu's battered hands. Truthfully, you just allowed your slime body to slide through his hands because you didn't move.
"It looks like she doesn't want to leave. If I explain everything it'll take a while. So, how about you take her home, rest up, and get ready to hear one of the most craziest stories I have to tell you."
Chifuyu looked down at you, wondering what to do if he took you home.
"Put in her water, always keep her in water when she's not doing anything. It's like a recharge. Also, report to me if she does new things."
Takemichi smiled, watching you do a very happy shake to know you were staying with Chifuyu.
Takemichi waved goodbye, running back to the streets and leaving you in Chifuyu's hands. Chifuyu smiled down at you, face still warm from coming to the realization that you did so much for him and he didn't even know it was you. He walked back to his car, content with the information he was just given, before leaning his face down into his hands and giving you a gentle peck of his own. A small bit of blue slime was left on his lips while he stared down at you
"Thanks for your help, Y/n..."
He says, and your blue slime turns into a pink color, a dark red blush appearing on you.
He unlocked his car with the press of a button and moves you to his right shoulder so he can open his car door. Once he sat in his car seat and closed his door he looked at your through the rearview. You were still a bright pink when he looked at you so, for fun, he licks the slime off of his lips from when he pecked you and his eyes widened in surprise.
".... Why do I taste Blue Raspberry..?"

Love Game part 3
Tumblr media
Pairing: Yelena x fem!reader
Genre: Lemon, non!AU
A/N: This is my very first fanfic. Sorry if it's bad, but I hope you like and enjoy reading this story! The period in this story is when the Yeagerists began their mission to create the “New Eldian Empire”. I'm poor at grammar, and this is the first story I have written in English, so I’m sorry if they're a lot of mistakes I made in my writing. Feel free to give me some advice in English so I can learn and write better in the future 💜
Summary: You live in the same house as Yelena in Paradis as a maid. You adore Yelena, but you thought she wasn't attracted to you at all. The day after she talked with Pixis on the balcony, she eventually talks to you and tries to tease you.
Warning: Smut, +18, explicit content!!
Tumblr media
She kissed your lips so gently. Her arms on your waist pull your body so close to hers, no more boundaries between you and her. The thrill of her kiss running up your skin was electrifying. You want to stop her, but your body tells a different story. It feels like you've been so thirsty for her touches for a whole time. Moments later, her arms all over your back. Then she kissed you passionately, her tongue is in your mouth now, moving wildly to play with yours.
At this moment you feel that the world around you vanishes away, only you and her. You want her back, you want her so badly. But a thought hit your head, you regained consciousness. Realizing that this should never have happened between you and her, there shouldn't be unnecessary physical touch.
You pulled back your body to stop her, “this is wrong, we ought not to kiss!” you said with a firm voice.
“Uh-huh, and then?”
You stepped back on your leg to keep your distance from her. “Don’t ever kiss me again!”
She curtsied and bent her face close to yours, “but you liked that, and you kissed me back,” she said. Her right arm touched your lower lip and teased it with a naughty touch.
You don't know what to say, because she was right, and the way she teased your lower lip is so intoxicating. You looked into her eyes, her pupils dilated, you can see a strong desire within her. She looked at you so lustful.
“Let me get this clear,” she continued. “I want you and don’t you ever dare to say no because I hate being rejected. Let’s move to the next level, I promise you'll love it, and we’ll be having so much fun!” Her right arm traced your chin, neck, and stopped at your left breast. She then put her lips against your ear, “tonight you look so beautiful with that nightdress, and I can't hold myself anymore,” she hoarsely whispered.
Her powerful and strong voice makes you do nothing but obey. “Now, go upstairs and get to sleep. It’s already late, I’ll clean the glasses for you.” She placed her arms on your shoulder to lead you out of the kitchen. And you just obey like her cutie puppy.
The next morning, Yelena saw you watering the potted plants around the backyard. “Hey, cutie, you slept well last night?” she said in an enticing tone.
You glanced at her, “funny you acted so friendly recently. Don’t get me wrong, but I don't think I’ll accept your stupid game.”
She stepped closer to you, “yes you will. As I said last night, I hate being rejected. So I’m gonna make you say my name when you get high. Just be ready today.”
She saw two soldiers walking towards your position. She cleared her throat, “so I wanna have some tea and please take them to my room by evening,” she said loudly with a different tone.
You realized she was trying to fool those soldiers, then she left you there. You glanced and followed her movement, she’s talking to the two soldiers. They seemed to have a serious conversation with her. You want to know what they are talking about, but you can't hear anything from the place you were standing.
As she promised, she left you no choice but to bring the tea set to her room. Once you entered her room, she locked the door and grabbed your hand quickly, and hugged you tightly. She kissed you more passionately than last night.
“Yelena-” you try to speak, “I told you we can't do this.”
“Yes we can, I know that you want me too, your face can tell me that,” she said during a kiss.
The more you try so hard to refuse, the more she holds your body so tight. She took off every one of your clothes until there nothing left. She touches you more and more, inch by inch. Yet, your sense of logic continues in a detached way with your desire, and you almost give up to satisfy your physical craving.
When she places you on the bed, you try to unbutton her shirt, she helps you take off her shirt and pants until you two get naked. That dusk, you ended up letting your lust control your body and let her touch you more deeply.
After that crazy moment in her room, you can't pretend that you don't need her anymore. You always let her touch your body every time she wants if there's a chance. In the library, in the bathroom, in the fulfillment warehouse, everywhere in that house is a place for both of you to have sex. You love the way she touches you. It always makes you want her more, more wild, more lust, more touch.
“Y- yelena-” you moaned as you felt her long fingers inside your cunt moving in and out faster.
“Yes, beauty? Gonna cum already?” she asked seductively.
You say nothing but moan her name again as you get high and release your warm fluid all over her finger. Tonight you ended up fuck with her in your room.
“Damn! I'm gonna miss this,” she said and started to suck her fingers in her mouth.
You frown at your face, “what do you mean ‘gonna’?”
She smiled at you, “nothing,” and gave her finger to your mouth then you licked hers sensually.
“Oh god, you look so fucking beautiful when you do that with hair falling loose down on the bed,” she played with the ends of your fine hair with another hand. You don't know why, but the way she seduces you with her dirty mouth gives you a delightful sensation. You never mind being a slut for her.
She kissed your lips and whispered, “Give me another, my princess. Let’s do scissoring!”
That night, you fucked with her for hours and this is the longest sex in a week. You try as many positions as you can until you two get dried, ‘till the clock says three in the morning.
The next day, when you go to town to buy groceries. You met Yelena there. You felt confused about why she can get in town while she’s in protective custody.
“I can’t believe we meet here,” she greeted you then she brought you to the alley nearby.
“Yelena, how can you get here?” you asked.
“There’s no time to explain, but I’m glad I met you here. Listen, the situation will not be the same. There will be an agitation around here. I need you to protect yourself if you need to, bring your parents to stay away from town. And I’ll blot out your punishment,” in the last sentence, she lowered down her voice and looked into your eyes softly. “You sure you never drink wine in the kitchen?”
“No, I don't! I told you I don't like liquors,” you answered convincingly. “Agitation? Punishment? What do you mean?”
She smiled, “I know you've been undercover to be a servant for months. You're a former Anti-Personnel Control Squad member that survived the Reiss family tragedy. And thanks to you, you revealed to Dot Pixis that I'd met with Eren before he invaded Marley. That's why I gave you a punishment to force you fucked with me.”
You dropped your groceries in shock, you never realized that she knows everything. Her smiles turned into a wider one as your reaction gave her much satisfaction.
“Floch tells me everything about you. You're no longer working with the government, but they still can find your record.” She stepped closer to you, “you're lucky I fuckin’ like you, sweetie.” She kissed your cheek and touched your head, “take care of yourself. Goodbye,” and she stepped out to join her confederates. Left you there, alone.
Your heart sank when she said goodbye, as you get the feeling you will never see her again.
When you came to that house, the situation was already chaotic, you found blood and dead bodies of the soldiers everywhere. So this is how she can run away from this house. You walked to her room, you still can smell her scent there, and it makes you feel in a sad set of affairs.
There’s a book on the desk, you stepped closer and opened the book. Your eyes widen as you see something inside the book. Now you know how she can keep in touch with her confederate, she used the book to take and give the information about the current situation in government. You hold the book so tight until your fingers get pale. You feel so defeated she can fool you around, and it all because of your stupid feelings.
You looked out the window with irony and said, “silly me I like you too. Please don't get yourself killed.”

Fun Facts:
She really into you, she can't think straight when you're around her.
I think she's a dominant type, and finally, you can make her half-naked and you take control of her (you can take a look at the first picture 😉).
Yes, you were the former of The Military Police Regiment who joined Anti-Personnel Control Squad leads by Kenny Ackerman.
I think Yelena was really upset about her incarceration and the other member of Anti-Marley Volunteers in various places, after what she did to Paradis. Although the government of Paradis was kind enough to put them in a decent house, she was still upset (this is my speculation for my writing purpose only).
Yelena had been watching you since the first day she stayed in that house. For her, you’re the best thing that Pixis had given to her. She could stick it out in that house because of you.
There are a lot of the Yeagerist’s sympathizers in that house, so, she still can communicate with Floch and her comrades easily. That’s why she knows about your little secret.
No, Yelena didn't kill the military soldiers in that house, but the Yeagerists did (this is only my hc). I think she respects the Eldians sm because Zeke is an Endian.
THIS IS IT! I hope you like my story ;)
Have a good day! ✨

Owl House Fanfiction: I love The Found Family Trope!
Tumblr media
Posted on Ao3 here: https://archiveofourown.org/works/29417493
Eda had gotten used to a lot of different ways of waking up after her getting her curse.
The first few times it happened, she'd unfortunately routinely woken up to find herself naked. (Titan, was she grateful when she'd finally found a spell that made her clothes change with her and didn't have to keep dumpster diving or "borrowing" clothes)
Once that was taken care of, her post transformation wake ups were slightly more comfortable, if predictable. She'd come too laying on the ground, her body's usual aches, pains, and stiffness seemingly doubled to the point where she could barely move. If she was in someone's house she'd likely be surrounded by overturned furniture and fixtures all covered in claw and bite marks. If she was lucky any people that might've been there would've already run and hid. If she wasn't….well, she knew a good amount of healing magic and potions.  No matter how much damage she might have caused, most people wouldn't turn down having their injuries taken care of.
And after that, things changed. Even if the person she was living with didn't kick her out, she could still see how they acted differently. They avoided eye contact with her, didn't stay in the same room with her for longer than two seconds, and she couldn't help but notice how they always seemed to lock their doors at night, nevermind whether she'd taken her elixir or not. Needless to say, when that happened she was gone before a week even passed. Someone being afraid of her or thinking she was a freak she could handle. But she preferred that to them tiptoeing around it and pretending to be okay with her when they were secretly scared.
Considering all of that, waking up safely in her nest with a bottle of elixir in her mouth was a new experience.
She wasn't that shocked once she'd gotten the whole story. She'd never explained what her elixir did to King, and Luz thinking it was some special magic boosting potion sounded just like her. But what really surprised her were their reactions.
After making sure Hooty was put back up and okay, they'd come by to check on her. Luz, having worried she might not be feeling well, had brought her a bowl of some strange human concoction called "chicken soup" that she'd gotten from a can in her junk collection. ("It's no magic potion but my mom. always made me chicken soup when I wasn't feeling well.) She'd also gotten her a person sized pillow that had the image of some male human character with spiky hair on it and with a little work slid it beneath Eda in her nest. The thing may have looked weird but it was comfy as heck and felt great for her sore back. Meanwhile King, still looking regretful about snatching her elixir, had fixed her a mug of apple blood as a peace offering.
While the mixture of alcohol and salty human bird water helped soothe some of her pain, Eda couldn't help but notice her apprentice and her housemate still standing off to the side of her nest. Both of them simply stood and watched as she ate and drank, staying oddly silent and staring at her as if she might disappear mid slurp.
It was almost a little unnerving. She hadn't expected either of them to be this quiet after discovering her curse. She figured Luz would've had her usual million questions about anything magical while King would be demanding to know why she hadn't told him before now.
Then again, it wouldn't surprise her if they were still too in shock. After all, while she had never been able to witness it herself, she knew her cursed form could be pretty terrifying to see. One person she'd lived with had been so freaked out by it, he hadn't been able to make any noise except terrified squeaks for 3 days.
Plus, the way they found out was pretty sudden. Sure, King shouldn't have stolen her elixir but it wasn't like he knew what it was for or why she took it. In fact, a part of her hoped he'd never find out.
But the cat was off the staff now. She knew that the two of them must still be curious, otherwise they wouldn't still be there. So it was time to witch up and deal with it.
Eda drank the last few dregs of soup from her bowl and drained the rest of her apple blood for a little courage before turning to King and Luz.
"Alright you two. I know you probably want to know more about all this. So, let's have it."
Luz and King took a moment to look at each other, almost seeming to have a full conversation in two seconds before turning back to her.
"No thanks." Luz said.
"Yeah, we're good." King agreed.
Eda blinked in confusion. "What? What do you mean?"
"We don't need to know anymore." Luz explained. "This whole curse thing seems kind of personal and besides you already told us all the important parts. So we don't need to know anything else."
Eda stared at her in stunned silence. She looked to King and was even more surprised to see him nod in agreement.
To say this was not what she'd been expecting would be an understatement.  Where was the yelling at her for putting them in danger? The demanding answers? The blaming her for not telling them about her curse before all this? Heck, the two of them didn't even look that upset. They just still had those weirdly concerned looks on their faces. Maybe they just worried she'd still be mad about them stealing her elixir and were too scared to bring it up.
But that brought another issue to mind. And while she might have become pretty fond of those two, she knew it would only be a matter of time until it came up.
Ignoring the tight feeling in her chest, Eda said slowly. "Listen…..if you guys want to find somewhere else to stay, I understand."
They both became bug eyed.
"What?!" Luz cried.
"What are you talking about?!" King asked.
Eda looked away from them, doing everything she could to keep the wetness in her eyes from turning into full blown tears.
Suck it up. She thought. It's not like you haven't done this before.
"Luz, you could probably see if one of those Hexside kids might be willing to let you stay with them, and King I-."
"You're kicking us out?!" Luz yelled.
"No!" King scrambled into the nest, got onto his knees  and clasped his paws together. "Please Eda, don't!  I'll never be able to find anyone else willing to  let me live with them without paying! If this is about stealing the elixir, I'm sorry! I swear I won't steal anything you don't tell me to!"
Eda frowned in confusion and turned back to them. "What? No. I mean, yes King, if you steal from me again I'll turn you into a tiny fur rug, but I just meant….you guys really don't want to move out?"
They both looked shocked at her question. "No." "Why would we?"
"Why would- how about  because I could have killed you two last night?" She felt bile begin to build in her throat and not the magical kind. "I could have eaten one of you like I did the snaggleback!"
"Oh come on Eda, it wasn't that-."
"Luz." Eda said, her voice hard. She didn't have it in her right now to deal with Luz sunshine attitude.
Luz must have noticed because she sighed and said. "Okay, look Eda. I'm not going to lie and say that today wasn't terrifying or that I wasn't afraid but….Eda, once I realized that the monster that was chasing after us was you? All I could think about was how I could help or what I could do to get you back. I didn't want to lose you."
Eda stared at her apprentice in complete shock. In her past talks with her living mates after they discovered her curse, they always talked about them . Their safety, their terror at her transformation, their discomfort at having Eda stay around after what happened. But Luz was thinking about her and whether she was okay.
It felt….weird. But in a good way. Kind of like a lot of things Luz did come to think of it.
Eda looked down to where King was still sitting in her nest. "And what about you King? You aren't freaked out by my little secret?"
King shrugged. "Eh, at first it was horrifying but after thinking about, its actually pretty cool. You're a demon just like me! Which technically makes you one of my subjects!"
Eda rolled her eyes. Typical King.
"And, since you are one of my subjects…."
"King, I swear to Titan, if you-."
".....than, that also means you fall under my protection." King finished. He walked over to Eda, climbed into her lap where he curled up into a ball. "If anyone wants to hurt you, they'll first have to go through me!"
Eda couldn't hide the amazement on her face as she gazed down at King. Then she felt something softly touch her shoulder. She looked over and saw Luz had placed a hand on her and was giving her a loving look.
"We're not going anywhere Eda. Us weirdos have to stick together, remember?"
Eda couldn't believe what she was hearing. Even after they both spent the night being terrorized by her and knew about her curse, they still insisted on sticking around.
They weren't going to leave her.
Luz suddenly frowned and looked at her worriedly. "Hey, what's wrong?"
It took Eda a moment to realize that there was a tear streaming down her face. She quickly wiped it away.
"Uh, no Luz, I just, uh, really loved that soup you brought me. There any chance there's some more?"
"I'll go dig through trash for another can!" Luz excitedly sprinted out the door.
Eda looked down at King. "Would my so-called "King" be willing to fix his new subject another apple blood?"
King stood up from her lap and stretched. "I suppose its what any humble ruler would do for his wounded subject." King took her mug and scrambled out of her nest and out the door.
Eda sighed fondly and layed back on her spiky hair human pillow, taking in the sight of the many light orbs that now dotted her ceiling thanks to her apprentice.
We're not going anywhere Eda.
If anyone wants to hurt you, they'll first have to go through me
Eda chuckled. "Thanks you two

Chapter 1
Tumblr media
Inside an apartment in the middle of NYC, a gigantic polar bear humanoid got inside a totally pink and feminine room, only to find it full of boxes, and with no one inside it.
"C-CAPTAIN! YOUR DAUGHTER VANISHED AGAIN!!!" Bepo, the gigantic humanoid polar bear, shouted running around the penthouse until he found Law on his office. "Captain!! Your daughter-!"
"I heard you the first time Bepo!" Law, a pro hero and a surgeon, shouted to him, his tattooed hand holding a cup of hot coffee "She didn't 'vanished again' I send her to get my last documents from the hospital" he drank his coffee in one go and went back to dismounting his computer.
"B-but! Do you really think that is a good idea to let her go alone!!? It's 3AM!!!" Bepo shouted while flailing his arms around.
"I- DO YOU THINK I AM SOME KIND OF IDIOT TO GO SEND MY OWN DAUGHTER AT 3AM ALONE IN NEW YORK!?" The Death Surgeon looked pissed at his best friend, but regret it when he saw Bepo making 'the face'. "STOP ACTING CUTE!"
Tumblr media
The doctor huffed and scratched his chin "I send her with Penguin and Shachi, don't need to worry, now go back to packing" he turned around and went back to dismounting.
"If you send Shachi and Penguin, why send her too? Dondon-chan was almost done packing her room" Bepo went to the bookshelf and started packing the books.
"Only me, and my family members can take my patient's information, it would be useless to send them, to do something that they won't be able too... besides... she needs to get some fresh air... Moving across the world and away from her friend is probably taking a tool on her."
"W-what!? But she is totally normal and smiling saying that she will be able to make a lot of friends there and how she can't wait to decor her new room and-!"
"BEPO!" the polar bear looked at his captain surprised by the aggressiveness of his voice. "She's trying to be positive... she doesn't want to leave, but she knows that it's useless to ask me to stay"
Even with his back turned Bepo knew that his captain was sad about having to move. "Can't we stay? Why do we have to go back, I still don't understand"
Law sighed "I know it was sudden, and I too would prefer to stay, but... we can't... that bitch-" he sighed again and rubbed his hand on his face "her mother wants this apartment, and she already got the judge to make me give her my house! And my CAR! AND MY SUMMER HOUSE! I JUST-!" The surgeon buried his face on his hands.
Bepo waited patiently for his boss to calm down.
"I don't have a choice, Bepo WE don't have a choice, her mother got everything she wanted from me, even a damn allowance for god's sake!" Law went back to dismounting the computer to have something to do with his hands.
"Rocinante-sama said that you agreed to all of that, so why are you upset?"
"I didn't have a choice Bepo! If I didn't agree to all of that she would get my damn daughter! And I would never see her again! That bitch of a woman would abuse Y/n-chan without a second thought to try and get back at me!" Law got up and started passing back and forth on the office "And before you ask about 'how do I know that' I know because that's the reason I'm getting a damn divorce! That- that woman assaulted my daughter for years without me knowing!! She knew that I would do anything for our child, and she took advantage of that" huffing he finally settles down on his office chair that still needs to be dismounted "she got more than half of my salary, my 3 houses, my boat, my investments, I gave her everything, and if she asked for more I would gladly give her more, if it meant to have my daughter with me, I would even stop being a hero"
Bepo smiled at him "But what will we do when we get to Japan? It's been so long..."
"We will go our separated ways, my daughter and I will live with my father for the time being, I will need to search for a new hospital to work, and a school for her, another hero agency, and- argh! OMG! so much to do" he scratches his head and notices his every day polka dotted hat wasn't with him "What-? Where?" He looks around and doesn't see it.
"DAD! WE ARE BACK" you run to the office while holding no boxes, and a familiar polka dotted white hat on your head.
Law huff and gives his daughter a small smile "Give me back my hat"
"Here" you kiss his forehead and put his hat on his head
"By the way... where are my boxes?" He looks at your empty hands.
"Shachi and Penguin put it on the living room"
Bepo gives you two a side glance and notices Law signaling for him to get out "I will go help them!"
You wave at him and Bepo closes the door behind him, leaving the two of you alone.
"Y/n... we need to talk" Your father got up, towering over you, but he sat down on the floor and patted the floor besides him.
You sit beside him "Is there anything left to talk about the divorce?"
He shook his head "it's about the changes that will happen on our life from now on"
You nod and lays your head on his lap, he pets your hair with care and keep talking "As I have told you before, our lifestyle will change drastically, since your mother has more than half of my salary and the money from my bank account, we will have to live with my dad for some time."
Your eyes shine at the mention of your grandfather "WE WILL LIVE WITH GRANDPA ROCI!!!?"
Law chuckles and nods "For about a year, so that I can get on my feet and be able to afford the living expenses, you will be homeschooled until the end of this year, and then we will see what we do about your school"
You look up at him and frown. "I'm scared"
He's grey eyes meet your eyes, Law is surprised, you hardly express yourself, or tell anyone what you are thinking. "And why's that Y/n-chan?"
"I saw on the news that the number of crimes committed are higher in Tokyo than it is in New York... I want to learn how to protect myself...please"
The surgeon nods agreeing "You will need to defend yourself, I will get in contact with Whitebeard and see if one of his sons can help you with training."
"I hope it's Sabo or Marco! They are the best teachers on the Whitebeard family!" You give your father a big smile.
He smiles back and looks at your arms and legs "Are you feeling any pain? I know you don't need the crutch anymore, but if you are in any pain I-"
You stop his rambling by patting his cheek softly "I know dad, I'm fine, really, after we got out of the hospital I'm better"
He sighs relieved "Okay, but know that-"
"If I need anything or feel any type of pain I can come to you straight away, I know dad."
He huffs and nods "Now go back to packing, don't forget to name the boxes, the delivery company will get our things in one hour, and our flight is in 5 hours, take a shower and make sure your favorite clothes are on your bags and not on the boxes, and-"
"DAD! If you keep going we won't have time to finish everything!" You get up and pouts at him
"Okay okay! Go do your things" you hear him chuckling as you walk away.

The Lost Boys Find Out Their Fem!S/O is Pregnant [3/4]
Guh, this one has taken the longest so far. Dwayne is such a strong silent type, and unfortunately got the least lines in the film so I had to really push myself to get into the right mindset. I think it came out fantastic, I hope you guys love it too. Now it's time for:
DWAYNE
Tumblr media
Rays of light were beginning to crack through the little nooks of the ceiling, a slow sunrise ushering the vampiric quartet into the depths of the hotel ruins for a long anticipated rest after another wild night. The last to go was your night bird, Dwayne. Calloused hands dragged on your cheek, stealing away any kisses he could. You savored the smokey scent his hair carried and nearly giggled at how his stubble tickled your neck.
"Dwaaayne, I'll still be here tonight," you insisted, gently nudging him off. "Go inside before you burst into flames."
He chuckled with a wide grin, taking one last kiss. "Alright, I'll be back. 6 o'clock on the dot, as soon as the sun goes down."
"It's a date."
You watched him scurry into the cove, pushing past collapsed beams and cobwebs. How they could sleep in that you would never know. Still, that meant you had an entire day to kill before they would be up again. A long, boring day.
You had stopped verbally complaining long ago, every time you did David would insist if you just let Dwayne bite you, this wouldn't be a problem. But you just weren't ready. At least, not yet. The night was so alluring, and every day you felt yourself wanting to be beside them more. However, you still had some final days to cling to. Maybe it was just the fear of making such a massive change. Cowardice.
Just waiting around the cave quickly grew boring, laying atop the bed that once housed Star and Laddie now eerily vacant. You tried to pass the early morning hours by flipping through magazines, listening to your portable cassette player- yeah, you knew it was going out of fashion, but CDs were so expensive, and you were not about to let the boys steal a $200+ player just to listen to Mötley Crüe on a slightly different player. You'd brought your own entertainment after so many visits, but you soon groaned when you realized it was only 10 am. There were still 7 and a half hours of waiting to go, and you were nowhere near tired enough for a nap!
Maybe a quick walk would kill your boredom, a quick snack on the boardwalk, pick up the guys something to munch on before they go out hunting. Yeah, that should be good.
With a soft grunt you scooted off the bed, wedging your feet into your boots with your backpack slung over your shoulder. "I'll be back soon," you whisper out loud, looking over at the dusty hole they'd disappeared into. Dwayne definitely couldn't hear you, but it still felt nice to give a little goodbye every time you went out. This time you'd use the cave entrance that led up those old wooden stairs. The walkway was a gorgeous deck barely over the water. On high tide it could wash over and hit your feet. Part of you was amazed it was still standing after so many decades of wear and tear.
However, the moment you looked outside it made your eyes squint, weighing heavy on your brow. Was it always this bright during the day?
It got significantly worse once you were fully outside shuffling around the debris littered across the rocks. It wasn't just your average tired eye sting. That was pretty common after spending all night out, and half the day in a dimly lit cave. But you'd never experienced it like this. It was a splitting, throbbing headache that almost made you lose your footing. You had to close your eyes just to feel any kind of relief. Noise was amplified- Oh god, those stupid seagulls made your ears ache!
Walking just made it hurt more. It was taxing on your body, like wading in molasses in August. Now, you weren't a stranger to the heat. After all you grew up on California sunshine. Almost thrived in it. Now you barely made it up the stairs atop the cliffside, until you just had to sit down. Wedged tightly against the banister you reveled in the tiny slivers of shadow that cascaded from the wooden railing. When your jacket became to much you peeled it off to use for cover, and eventually you forced yourself to continue walking. What was happening?? Those few steps were enough to make your stomach wretch and twist with starvation. Truthfully you hadn't been eating well lately, everything just made you nauseous. Stomach flu, maybe. Why was the ground spinning..?
And that was it. The next time your eyes opened the last bits of sun were long gone. Something- no, someone, was shaking you, trying to snap you out of that fog. They yelled out, nearly swinging you around like a ragdoll in a panic. It was muffled, you could hear another voice, then another.
"Y/N! Y/N!"
"Dude, you keep shaking her like that, she's gonna break something."
"What is she doing out here in the first place anyway, man?"
A huge breath of life reanimated your body, almost screaming as you sat up crashing into the chilled chest of Dwayne who still had you in his arms. "Hey, easy, easy. You're okay, it's just us."
Quickly your eyes darted around. Dwayne's arm was hooked under your back elevating you off the ground, Marko was knelt on your other side with Paul leaning on the smaller vampire's back. David was just behind Dwayne with arms crossed, looking down at you.
"You know, Y/N, if your bed was uncomfortable we woulda gotten you another," Paul teased.
"Dude," Marko questioned, lightly elbowing him in the ribs.
"Ow. Aw, c'mon I'm just kiddin'."
Dwayne still wouldn't set you down, pushing sweaty locks of H/C from your face. "What happened," you managed to ask in a raspy voice, carefully shifting your weight onto your butt.
"We found you out here, I was hoping you could tell us," David answered with a cigarette clenched between his teeth, a small flame roasting the end into ashy cinders.
"I honestly couldn't tell you. I only wanted to head over to the boardwalk for an hour or two. I thought I could pick you guys something up on the way back but..," you held the side of your head, the remains of your headache still lingering from earlier. "My stomach hurt all over and.. I just fell."
Something just wasn't adding up, enough that David paused, looking at you. Your heart beat was calm but… every other beat an entirely new rhythm would chime in. Rapid, quiet, stirring. "You sure you hadn't been with anyone else, Y/N?"
"What," You questioned, immediately offended by the implications of that question. Unsurprisingly, Dwayne was equally outraged as he helped you onto your feet.
"Y/N isn't like that, you know this David," he snapped. Dwayne always had that sulking gaze but it wasn't often he was legitimately upset. With his arms still around your waist you could feel his muscles tighten into cement. The atmosphere was so thick you could cuz it with a knife, and after a few minutes of intense glares… Dwayne's eyes widened.
He heard it too. Faster than your own heart beat, buried deep below it was almost too soft to hear. A pulse submerged in water.
He had been so busy worrying about your fainting, he never realized why. It made sense the more he thought about it. Grabbing you, he spun you around to face him. He hadn't intended to be so rough that even Marko was telling him to ease up. "You swear.. you swear you haven't..." The suggestion was cruel. He didn't want to even say it out loud, and your face twisted into one of disgust, slapping his hands off your shoulders.
"Alright that's enough," you snapped, stepping away from all of them. "What is with all of you?! Is this just how you guys check up on people who faint, accuse them of adultery? What the fuck?!"
You could feel tears forming in your eyes and you immediately had to look away. You were not about to show weakness while angry. Dwayne gently took your wrist before you could storm off, looking deep into your eyes. Why did he look so afraid, even in the inky night you could see something haunted those chocolate orbs. "Dwayne...What's going on…," you asked again, this time softening your tone. David, easily sensing the building tension, cleared his throat.
"Marko, Paul, let's wait inside."
"Aw what," Paul chimed in, arms up in the air. "No way man, I wanna know what's going on! What's with all the crazy??"
Marko looked at David, then back and for between you and Dwayne. Oh. He got it. While Paul still protested, Marko slung his arm over his shoulder and yanked him down to whisper in his ear. At first he looked utterly confused, but then his face went wide. The realization of the century. "Ohhhhhhh," he finally said, looking over at you. "Gotcha. Good luck babes, we'll give you guys a little alone time." Both blondes had these odd smirks on their face, no doubt clued in on the inside joke you were definitely a part of yet left completely clueless. David followed them down the steps with a smug grin, giving a small wave.
Alright, now you were confused. Dwayne didn't speak though. He just clasped your hand tightly in his. All he said was "c'mon" while lightly pulling you along. The moon was so huge tonight in lit up the ocean, a sea of stars dipped in black. There you both sat, legs just barely hanging off the edge in utter silence. Whatever it was must have been weighing heavy on his mind because he never turned to look at you. Instead he kept your hand firmly clutched in his own, staring straight off into the unknown. His sigh broke the silence, fingers tightening around your hand again. "There's more than one heart beat… coming from inside you."
It took a moment for what he said to sink in. Another..? What did that-...
Oh. That's why they were being so weird. It was hard to breath, like someone was sitting on top of your chest. And now what haunted Dwayne's thoughts now crept into your own. Their suspicions were reasonable. No one figured that.. well considering the boys were undead it wasn't exactly expected for you to..
"Dwayne I…," you started, looking at him. "I've never been with anyone else. You know that, right?"
This time he couldn't speak, just nod in agreement. Of course he knew you were loyal. Honestly he never doubted it, but the shock of what that meant was a bit much for him to handle. He'd taken care of Laddie alongside Star for years, even before he turned, he was great with kids. But the thought of fatherhood never really crossed his mind. Were he human it'd be common sense, he'd be at the proper age. Maybe even already have a family.
But he was 19. He just… happened to be 19 for a very long time. Quietly he pulled you by your waist so you were beside him, then nudged your head onto his shoulder. You weren't scared, just in awe. For a moment you brushed your hand over your abdomen. It was warm, already firm to the touch. In the months to come you knew it would grow, your baby would grow. But in that moment, as Dwayne's calloused hand placed over yours feeling that little life stir inside you, you felt at peace. That was that. You two sat there for what felt like hours, watching the waves, watching the moon rise high above. It really was a beautiful night. A perfect night. The first night of many more to come.

after two people start dating, it's a common assumption that life's sunshine and rainbows from then on when it’s not. kageyama and (y/n)'s relationship is an accurate representation of that

How did he get so lucky?
He's not certain how or why; not sure how someone like him managed to somehow be at the right place, at the right time – right in her line of sight, why she chose to keep him there when there were so many other things to be resting her bright eyes at instead.
He always feels so small under her gaze, like all his crevices would only let her spill when she sunk herself into his touch but somehow, somehow she finds a way – in her touch, in her words, in those beautiful, beautiful eyes – to make him feel like broken didn't have to be such a bad thing.
And she was the first – the only – to tell him it was okay. It was okay to make some mistakes, it was okay to not find a way, to be lost and not want to be found – it was okay to be so down that he forgot how to look up again and she always tell him it's okay to be broken in more ways than she is whole, to be more pieces than person.
Some things are meant to be. She always said that, and it's the only thing she believed.
He watches her with half-lidded eyes from sleep and the morning light is a dust of gold across the wrinkled sheets, smelling of her; he curls a little closer to the mountain of white blankets just so he can bury himself in it, just so he could drown in the scent of her before the afternoon hours took it away. You're gone, evident by the space in the bed.
He felt it from the first springs of the bed that sighed at her departure, soft creaks on the floor as she tiptoed away from the dreams he made for her the night before in between the valleys of the sheets.
She always lets him sleep but he never does – the mornings were her time and he understood that, respected that – she needed her own spaces in the glow of the sunrise, she needed her time in the silence of a new dawn.
It's his favourite time of the day, he thinks. When you think no one's watching; she sheds her skin in the morning like how she sheds her clothes in the night – Kageyama finds something intimate about it, in those glimpses of her that only he and the sun have ever seen, in her soft breaths and the fall of her shoulders, the rise of her ribs that go with it.
She pad into the room with soft steps and back to him; he's got one eye open and hopes she picks one of his shirts as she tries to decide what to wear today. And his eyes slip, like they always do, like they always will – they slip to how the curves of her figure are never the perfectly arched waves, to the smallest bumps of scars on her back and the bruises on her knees; eyes falling to the cracking skin that dots her bare body and the shapes he finds that have yet to have a name except for hers.
She wasn't perfect, but he didn't want her to be – he loved her for the way she was broken but not fixed, for how she wasn't  poetry, she was simply his – graceless falls and messy collapses and all.
She pulls one of his favourite sweaters on her on and he can only imagine how soft her shoulders are with the fabric gracing them; how he longs to brush his lips over them, how he wants to draw the outline of her shape that he knew so well, hidden to the world with the knit.
He loves every inch of her, every corner of her jagged mind and broken heart – he'll love her with every piece of him, he'll love her with every whole that's still left. Soft lips pressed to his forehead and it's his cue to wake up; to open his eyes to see what she wants him to, but he's hoping for a day where he wakes up and there's just you.
Like the one he sees every morning through his half-lidded eyes of admiring you, the one she always buries away, though he hopes to see it with wide eyes one day. "Good morning, sleepy head."
"Morning, babe. You all ready?" She nods, and there's a taste of chapstick in your kiss – though he won't admit it, Kageyama loves the way her chapped lips scratch against his, but he loves her taste all the same. She pulls away and this time it's her with the half-lidded eyes, lost somewhere in her dreams.
"How did I get so lucky?" He whispers the words and his thumb is running over the hills of her face, tracing the lips and leaving the soft skin ringing with his touch. Kageyama's half-asleep and she knows it – he's softer when he's dreaming like he is now, looking right at her – and she doesn't know what he sees but she thinks she sees her own looking back at her.
"I think I'm the lucky one here." A half smile on her lips, words tender and mouth brushing his hand that clings on to her, fingers interlaced.
"Oh?" He looks amused and he is – he's wondering how sbe would be the lucky one when he practically spends every morning admiring everything she is that he doesn't deserve but love all the same.
"How so?"
But that's a story for another day.
//
It’s a bit of a struggle to get her eyes fully open in the morning, because her eyelashes are sticking together and her head still hurts from how she’d cried herself to sleep the night before. (y/n)’s never been one to be so affected by someone else’s actions, by her circumstance involving another person, but that was before she’d fallen in love.
See, they started arguing, and argued some more, and more after that. It was typical stuff at first, about things that they’d laugh about that same night when they’ve eventually found their way back into each other’s arms – then it escalated into something else. Accusations of cheating, of purposely staying out till late, of not really wanting to be with each other because maybe it was the chase that made the other want the relationship in the first place.
And now it’s because (y/n) had finally gotten tired of Kageyama being home but not, at the same time, because all he was ever doing was going out with his mates and then spending like five minutes with her before going out with the same bunch of people for hours, again. And it’s not like he’s not allowed to – of course he is. She’s not going to bloody ban him from hanging out with his mates just because they’re mostly girls who completely disregard her existence. But she’s upset. She’s hurt and upset.
So she’d confronted him about it.
And what did bs do? Well he laughed and told her to stop being so jealous because they’re just friends.
And then he just left. Walked out, saying he was going out (again) and that was that – (y/n) looking at him with glassy eyes and furrowed brows, and Kageyama completely not giving a fucking shit about it.
(y/n) blows out a sigh, rubbing at her eyes and picking up her phone. A part of her’s hoping that her boyfriend had called, or texted, or something – but he hasn’t. Not a single text or missed call.
She goes to open twitter next and she’s pretty sure her heart’s stuck in her throat and she might throw up, because her twitter timeline’s so busy with pictures and fan tweets because Karasuno has left the country for a tournament.
Kageyama fucking left the country without even telling her and (y/n)'s so dazed. She doesn't know if she’s mad or confused, all she knows is everything hurts. And she’s not sure when she did it, but the next thing she knows is she’s dialling her boyfriend on a voice call.
“You left the country and you didn’t even – fucking tell me?”
Kageyama’s silent for a moment, then he’s speaking again, saying “(y/n)” like he’s the one who’d basically been tossed aside for friends he barely spoke to and alcohol, like he’s the one who’d been left behind after a fight without even an apology spared.
“I...I thought you were mad at me,” is apparently the best he can come up with and (y/n) chokes out a laugh.
“I am, thank you very much.” She says, almost monotonous. “But that doesn’t mean I wouldn’t have — I would’ve still — fucking – you left the country and you’re not going to be back until – fuck knows when. And you didn’t even. Not even a goodbye? That's a dickhead move Kageyama. ”
“Well what was I supposed to do? You've nade it clear that you're upset and I was leaving in the morning and –”
"Ever heard of text messages? Because all I was hoping for was one text. You didn’t want to call? Fine. I would’ve been mad but I would’ve gotten over it. But not even a goddamn – not even a fucking text?!” Y/N near yells out and there’s a tear making its way down her cheek – but she’s alone, so she doesn’t bother wiping it away.
“I –” he starts to say, but then he cuts himself off. “What the fuck do you want from me, (y/n)? So I left without saying goodbye. So what? What is the big fucking deal?!”
Y/N gapes at her wall, like he’s standing there and saying it right to her face with a blank facial expression, not really giving a shit about anything. ”Uhm, ouch.” she clears her throat, gulping softly. “Do I — do I mean that little to you?” Her voice cracks towards the end of the question.
He stutters on the other end of the line – like he’s caught off guard and is looking for the appropriate words to redeem himself, but before he can answer her, she’s whispering out a “Why do I even ask” and cutting the call.
Because if he obviously doesn’t give a shit anymore, then why the hell should she put herself through more of this bullshit?

04 - Lost
It's finally the day of the party, and you've just worked up the courage to confess, but will everything go to plan?
-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-
I arrived at the party a little early with Soonyoung and his friend Jihoon, who I'd never met before, but who seemed nice enough from the brief conversation I managed to have with him. Soon after we arrived, he excused himself to take over some snacks to the snack table, and then it was just me, Soonyoung and several bags of presents. Being at Vernon's apartment was a little overwhelming, mostly because I'd never been but also because of how big it was. Part of me had been expecting a small, cosy apartment with an old rug, but this was something else. Right in the corner of the living room was a pretty tree decorated with multi-coloured tinsel and sparkly ornaments, and underneath it were more presents than I'd ever seen in my lifetime. It was like a child's dream seeing so many gifts sitting there, so much so that, for a moment, the child within me forgot how to function properly.
The rest of the apartment was decorated with sparkly decorations, too. Gold and silver streamers hung from the ceiling, and various ornaments - santas, elves, reindeer and snowmen were dotted around on almost every surface. It would have been excessive, having so many decorations anywhere, if they didn't look so pretty. Soonyoung nudged me in my side, chuckling to himself at my reaction to Vernon's apartment. I snapped out of my thoughts as he slung his arm around my shoulder. "We should put our presents down by the others. You're gonna have all night to stare at the decorations." He suggested, pinching my cheek. I scrunched my nose up at him and he laughed, removing his arm and walking over to the tree. I followed behind him just as Vernon popped out of nowhere.
"Hey you two, y/n it's great to finally meet you in person! Lovely sweater by the way." He greeted us, giggling at our ugly sweaters and pulling us in for a hug. "Whatcha got there. All for me, hmm?" He teased, trying to peak in the bags. Soonyoung swatted him away and I watched the two of them, smiling at their cute friendship. They truly were like brothers, just as I was told.
After putting the presents under the tree, me and Soonyoung decided to see what everyone else was doing. There weren't that many of us there, since Vernon didn't want to have to clean up too much mess, so there were a few small groups doing different things. A few of Vernon and Soonyoung's friends hovered close to the snack table, including Jihoon, some more were playing random drinking games and the rest were having some sort of comedic dance-off.
It didn't take too long for me and Soonyoung to get separated as I drifted in and out of the groups, not really knowing anyone except a few faces. At first, he went over to slay the others at the dance-off, which had somehow turned into a karaoke competition after a few rounds. I watched him for a bit before deciding to watch the drinking game group. At some point Vernon must have told them to slow down, as they were now playing regular games. Jeonghan, one of the few faces there I actually knew, turned to me and invited me to join. The rest were happy enough to let me play, and soon the friendly competition helped me loosen up around the group of strangers. Every so often, Soonyoung would come over and offer me snacks or drinks, and sometimes the boys would tease us about it. It was easy enough to laugh off, though, it being a topic we'd talked about before and agreed there was nothing there besides a solid friendship.
And that's how my night continued until about half ten, at which point most of the game squad had left to get food or do something else. I looked over at the karaoke group, which had gained more "competitors". I noticed my crush among them, who was so into the song he was singing, belting the words out whilst dancing energetically, that he burst into a fit of laughter when his voice cracked. I smiled fondly. Even above the music, above the chatter, and even above my racing heart, his laugh rang out like my favourite Christmas song. I knew I was in way too deep for someone who had only met him a few times. It wasn't just the times we'd seen each other, though. It was the dumb stories Soonyoung told me about him late at night and the random quotes he or Vernon had texted me throughout the day. Those were the things that made my heart swell with affection.
Finally, I found the two of them again, sat in the kitchen with drinks in their hands. "Hey you two, trying to get a breather from the chaos out there?" I asked, grinning at them, leaning against one of the counters. Vernon nodded, adding how he was tired from cheering on the karaoke team most of the night. I chuckled to myself, remembering the sound of my crush's laugh not long before. The two of them let out teasing 'ooh's at me, my face heating up when I realised why.
"Tonight would be a great time to confess, you know. I could always sneak up to you guys and hold up some mistletoe if you can't wait until midnight." Vernon teased, wiggling his eyebrows. I rolled my eyes. Did I really have the guts to confess to him? "No, really, tonight is great. You literally have a perfect excuse to kiss him. Take it, please. For both of-" his eyes widened "Us." He croaked, his voice higher pitched than normal. I chewed my lip. Was it a good idea? I mean.. if it went wrong I could always play it off with "no no I just wanted that kiss y'know I don't like you like that pffft what".. right?
And like that, I decided that's what I would do. I sat anxiously throughout the belated Christmas present opening, eyes constantly flickering up to check the time. It was 11pm, and the presents were nearly all opened, yet it felt like there were still loads left. And then it was 11:50pm and finally the last present was unwrapped. I barely had chance to pay attention to what gifts people got each other. In my head, all I could think about was what was going to happen at midnight. I briefly met eyes with the man on my mind, smiling shyly over at him as he did the same, the thought of kissing him in a few minutes making my head go fuzzy.
With a few minutes to spare until midnight, all of us poured out onto the balcony. I tried to look for a certain someone amongst the small crowd, but somehow he seemed to have disappeared. I wanted to scream. I had to find him soon, or I'd never get that new years kiss. In the midst of looking for him, I felt someone tap my shoulder. "Hey y/n, looking forward to the new year?" They asked. I turned my head, seeing Jeonghan standing there with a shy grin on his face. I returned his smile, growing nervous. I nodded, unable to speak.
"10!" No, I'm not ready just yet.
"9!" I can't do this.
"8!" I need some more time.
"7!" One of the boys bumped into me, whispering an apology.
"6!" Please..
"5!" I felt Jeonghan's gaze on me.
"4!" Give me a few more seconds.
"3!" There's no time.
"2!" Someone tapped my shoulder again.
"1!" I turned to look at Jeonghan.
Midnight. He leaned down, capturing my lips in the gentlest kiss I'd ever had.
And I hated it, because I wanted to run away. I couldn't find him, I couldn't find my crush and now I was being kissed by someone else. Someone who was lovely, and was by no means a bad kisser, but who wasn't him. What was I supposed to do? My mind glazed over and my body stood still. I needed to push him away but I didn't want to upset him, yet I couldn't lead him on either. But before I could work out what to do, he was pulling away and midnight had come and gone. I could hear him giggling excitedly to himself as he pulled me in for a hug. As my mind started to emerge from its daze, I looked up at the others and the first face I saw was his. Standing there right at the front was Seungkwan, eyes glossy and the colour drained from his face. I saw him swallow the lump in his throat and close his eyes, eyebrows knitting together. I wanted to reach out to him and go after him to explain, but I was still being held by Jeonghan. Seungkwan turned away, head down, and weaved his way through the small crowd.
Vernon looked between his friend and me, worry etched into his face. He covered his face with his hands, disappointed. After what felt like an eternity, Jeonghan let me go, and like a missile I was off, brain no longer caring what he'd think of me running away like that. Suddenly the party didn't feel like a party anymore. I stared at Seungkwan's back as he hunched over a table. If only I could have found him before the countdown. I wanted to explain, but I was scared that my words wouldn't come out right and all I wanted to do was leave.

Hailee sat up. Her hair a mess and her cheeks stained from the previous night. No longer upset, instead she felt empty. She cried away every emotion, now just flesh and bone. She threw her legs off the side of the bed and stood up, taking a breath she dragged herself to the bathroom. She wasn't ever a morning person, her current mood didn't help. Dragging a brush through her hair, wincing slightly from the constant tugging she looked at herself in the mirror. A soft sigh left her lips. How did she let herself become so affected by something that would be so minor later in life. She grabbed her face wash and rinsed away the memories of last night, humming softly in hope to keep her mind occupied. After the rest of the mundane tasks of her morning routine she left her flat, locking the door behind her.
The cool British air hit her as she got outside. She knew it would be cold but not this cold. Hailee tugged up her collar, hoping it would shield her from the winter breeze as she walked down the path towards work. Small children ran passed her, not a care in the world as their short arms stretched out from their sides as they made soft raspberry noises. Followed behind were, what Hailee assumed to be, their parents, chuckling amongst themselves whilst complaining about being up so early. You'd think after each day being the same, there would be no need to complain.
After a few awkward sorrys from Hailee and a lot of disapproving glares from school run mothers, Hailee finally made it into work.
Opening up the small book store, she inhaled deeply. The scent of books was comforting to her, like freshly cut grass or the smell of mint. There was something about it that brought you back to reality, which was ironic as she would get lost in so many worlds due to books.
Once the store was prepared she turned the homemade open sign to alert people they could finally enter her small little kingdom of tales. Yet, there was never a rush that came in, never a hoard of hungry readers flooding through the door, just enough to keep the store afloat.
She didn't mind the lack of customers to start, the only issue was she couldn't distract herself. Break ups are hard, she felt it was coming, the messages became shorter and far less frequent and the phone calls were silent. She just expect it to end like it did. No message, no phone call, just a blank picture, a "user not found". Pushing herself away from the front counter she walked to a small section of the store, a tiny cavern of hidden gems which weren't too popular in sales. Her fingers delicately touched the spine of each novel, wondering which would catch her attention. Upon seeing one that was a deep red colour with gold lining, she took it from the shelf and made her way back to the counter. It wasn't long before she was fully invested into the tale of a young prince and a fair maiden fighting alongside each other rather than falling in love.
Hailee, completely lost in the book, didnt hear the bell ring to alert that someone had come into the store. A tall, slim man walked through the door. His hair was gelled back yet seemed natural and his hair almost white. His features were sharp and his eyes were like ice. His presence brought a chill with it. His long black wool blend trench coat covered his body to his thigh were it showed his tailored trousers and dress shoes. A deep green scarf was wrapped around his neck. It fit him well, the colour made his complexion look slightly less paler than it was. He looked around the store, not seeming too impressed. His steps echoed through the small bookstore yet Hailee didnt bat an eye, still invested in her story. He cleared his throat but didn't look in her direction "You'd think a run down little shop like this would greet its customers with a bit of respect" his voice was harsh, strong enough to bring Hailee away from her book.
"Oh my, I'm so sorry, I was lo-" before she could finish, the tall blonde interrupted her "I'm looking for a book" he said simply, she let out a soft chuckle "good job you're in a bookstore then huh?" He definitely wasn't amused by her humor. She hummed, waiting for him to explain the book he was looking for.
"I'm looking for..." there was a pause as he pulled out a small, leather bound, notepad from his pocket, flicking a few pages he looked at what was written.
"Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe" He looked at her, Hailee smiled and nodded,
"Right this way". She led him to near the back of the store before grabbing a small ladder.
Hailee climbed up to a taller shelf, she didnt want to struggle trying to reach it, he seemed to be in a rush. He was tapping his foot, looking at his watch. She looked at him and passed him the book, she understood that she was rude in the beginning but he didn't need to be so rude now.
He took the book without a single word of appreciation, walking to the counter. She watched him, slightly amazed at how someone could be so ignorant. Climbing down the ladder the made her way to were the blonde was.
He watched her as she typed in the small code on the back of the book, watching as she frowned in concentration. A small curve of his lips appeared but soon disappeared before she could notice.
"That is just £12.99" Hailee smiled, placing the book in a small brown bag, wrapping it in string and adding a small loyalty card "I dont need that" he spoke, she decided to ignore him, handing him the newly wrapped book with a smile.
He huffed with slight annoyance and held out his card. After paying for the novel he held it to his side and abruptly turned to leave the store. Before leaving he looked over his shoulder, seeing Hailee focused back on her book. He let out a soft hum before leaving the store.
It soon hit 8pm, Hailee locked up the store. The weather even colder than before. Shivering she started to walk, her face hidden in her jacket in hope to stay warm. Walking with a little speed she didn't see the blonde from earlier, instead she crashed straight into his chest, stumbling back slightly yet he didnt move an inch.
"God, watch where you're fucking going!" His voice was a lot harsher than earlier, she looked up at him, profusely apologising. He growled and looked at her, realising it was the woman from the bookstore.
"Wow, what a surprise it's you" he glared, she looked at him slightly taken aback.
"Look I'm sorry I bumped into you but there's no need to be so rude" Hailee didn't need this, especially not today. The blonde shook his head and let out a laugh, more to mock her. She inhaled deeply , pushing passed him, not exactly caring now. He watched her, he felt guilt? This wasn't normal for him at all.
Hailee went home, slamming the door angrily before quickly shouting sorry in case her neighbours got annoyed. Throwing her jacket down she looked at the kitchen. Not too long after she ordered some food. She deserved it, especially after today. Who even was that guy? She didn't even know his name but she disliked him. Hailee grew frustrated at just the thought of the blonde.
-----------
The next day was just the same, lack of customers, cold day. Midday she decided to take a small break, locking up the store she placed a 'be back in 15!:)' sign on the door. Hailee shivered uncontrollably,  she really needed to invest in a winter coat. She went to the small coffee shop a few stores down. She grinned as the smell of freshly baked of toasties and small sweet treats filled the air. The older lady , around 60, her name was Eliza, waved her in and greeted her.
"Hello Hailee, would you like your usual?" She spoke sweetly, Hailee nodded with a smile "thank you", Eliza shook her head "Go sit down I'll bring it over". Hailee followed orders and took a seat. This small shop was rather vintage looking. The walls were a pale blue with white coving, the tables were all different with various chairs, seemingly whatever Eliza could find. It fit her personality well, she was different but in a good way. Her white hair was dyed a light pink at the ends, she told Hailee it was because as a 'youngster' having dyed hair wasnt seen as normal. She wore various home made and thrifted outfits with a mass amount of different types of jewelry,  she always wore an opal pendant around her neck though. Her glasses hung on a gold chain with blue beads around her neck. The glasses were pointed with a red frame.
Not too long after, Eliza came out with a mug, that was blue with white polka dots, of coffee and a plate of beans on toast with cheese. Eliza gave Hailee the same mug each time she came in.
"Mmm, thank you" Hailee hummed, watching Eliza go back to her kitchen.
Half way through her meal, the chair opposite her was pulled out and someone took a seat. She looked up and instantly frowned.
The blonde from yesterday was seated, a take out cup in his hand. She wiped her mouth and sighed "have you come to yell at me again?"
His hand gripped the cup tighter, veins promptly showing as he took a breath, trying to stay calm. "I came to apologise" he spoke, his teeth gritted slightly "but now you can forget about it" He stood abruptly , the chair almost falling back behind him. She looked completely confused by the situation "did you expect me to greet you warmly? Like you did with me yesterday?" Her tone was filled with sarcasm, earning a glare from the Male.
He shook his head and stormed out the cafe. Hailee shrunk back into her seat, sighing as she pushed her plate away.
"Ignore him sweetie, Draco has never been a people person" Eliza smiled, cleaning up the plate and taking it away.
Draco. He must be a regular here. Shes never seen him before though, was she really that oblivious to the world around her.
Hailee couldn't stop thinking about the encounter with Draco in the cafe, she felt guilty even though she had no reason too. That's always been her issue, she always took the blame herself. She looked at her drink, the small layer of froth at the top began to disappear. Distant chatter could be heard over the soft music that played. The smell of lager filled the air but it wasn't an uncomfortable smell, it fit the atmosphere. Hailee looked around the small pub before seeing the now very familiar blonde at the end of the bar. His glass was half full, seemingly drinking some sort of spirit with cola. Hailee took a breath, grabbing her pint before making her way over, sitting beside him.
"I'm...I'm sorry for earlier" she spoke, he didnt look at her, Draco brought his glass to his lips and took a sip. His focus forward, refusing to acknowledge her.
"I didn't know you were coming to apologise but can you blame me for the confusion?"
His icy blue eyes sharply turned and looked at her. Her arms were covered in goosebumps and the small hairs on the back of her neck rose.
"You shouldn't add but to an apology. It makes it completely pointless" His voice was low. She gulped slightly and nodded "I am sorry though" her shoulders fell. She watched his features, not even a twitch. Sighing she stood up. Being a little shorter she had to make a slight little jump off of the stool, her foot didn't land properly causing her to slightly fall before a large hand rested on her back, keeping her from going any further. Draco's one hand held up her weight, bringing her up closer to him. Hailee looked at him, her lips slightly parted in shock. He looked at her, his eyes now analysing each of her features, from her deep brown eyes to the small freckle just below her lip. Hailee's chest quickened in pace, staying silent. He made sure she was upright before placing money on the bar. Grabbing his coat he left the young woman standing in shock, not looking back.

👑💙
5 of June 2005
That had been a boring, yet exciting Sunday for the young couple: Kate was preparing herself for her date with Steve, fixing her hair, applying a very light makeup and a nice skirt. Steve on the other hand was more nervous that he could ever imagine, he went for her usual incognito outfit, a pair of jeans, a leather jacket, a cap and sunglasses (even tho it was already dark), he didn’t want to be recognized.
Catherine arrived there ten minutes earlier, she didn’t seat too close to the door but enough so he could see her. She ordered a beer and waited there, looking around trying to avoid staring at the door for too long.
Steve was about to go out when his father stopped him at the door.
-Where are you going?
-I, uhm...I’m going to have a drink with some friends.-He didn’t like lying but he knew his father would try to convince him not to do it.
-Okay, be careful and have fun. And take a driver with you, please.
-Yes, bye.-He jumped in a car and asked the driver to park behind the National Portrait Gallery because the pub was close enough.-Thanks.
Steve got out grabbing the red rose he got for Kate and walked straight to the pub. When he was finally on the other side of the street, in front of the pub, he froze.
What was he doing?
A cold shiver ran through his spine and made him very afraid of her reaction. Would she be okay with who he was or would she ran? He looked at his watch: 7.45pm. Without knowing, he stood there for nearly forty minutes, froze with fear. She looked stunning, looking all over the place and playing with her hands and the pint she had ordered. <<God, she is beautiful…>> Then, the real panic started.
After another ten minutes of hesitation, he saw some of the waiters smoking at the back door.
-Excuse me, there’s a young woman sitting there, brunette, green eyes. She’s wearing a skirt and is drinking a beer.-He handed the rose to one of the girls there.-Could you give her this rose? I..I have to go.
Once the girl went back inside, he stood back in the dark of the street watching. His palms were sweating and he started fidgeting with the zipper of his jacket. Steve saw how the waitress approached Kate and how she gave her the rose, her face suddenly changed. That smile she gave to the waitress was the saddest Steve had ever seen.
Catherine looked at the flower on the table and didn't know how to feel. Disappointed? Upset? Frustrated? She let out a sigh and stood up, leaving some money on the table. Walking out to the rather chilly night, she stopped right in front of the door, whipping some tears away and breathing deeply. Kate looked at the flower once again and smiled while shaking her head and started walking back home.
The brunette didn’t notice that a pair of regretted eyes were looking at her while she took off. Steve felt like the worst person in the world. He walked to the car and asked the driver to go home, when they were entering Trafalgar Square the driver stopped due to a red traffic light. Steve looked through the window and saw Catherine approaching the pedestrian crossing but she didn't cross, instead she stopped in front of a litter bin.
Kate stood there, debating if she should throw the rose or keep it. She felt so stupid. She looked at the flower, tears fighting to come back, her hand squeezed the steam nearly breaking it in half. Trying to calm herself down she walked away of the bin when she heard the beeping of the traffic light alerting the walkers it was about to turn red. As she crossed, she whipped out the tears with the sleeve of her jacket, leaving it wet.
Steve looked as she walked away, feeling a guilty knot in the throat.
Kate opened the door of her house, going up the stairs wishing her sister was already asleep but luck wasn't on her side that day. She tried to get to her room unnoticed but Pippa, who was watching a movie in the living room in her pyjamas, always had an annoying good hearing, so she clearly heard her footsteps.
-Hi! How was your mystery date?- Pippa stood up to go get her sister to sit with her but she froze as soon as she saw the brunette.-Squeak…?
Kate was looking at the floor, sobbing. She left the rose on the dinner table and didn't even looked at her little sister when she went straight to her room. Pippa tried to go after her.
-Hey...Catherine…-But the eldest had already closed the door right in front of her face.
The room felt too big in that moment for Kate. She didn't event checked her phone incase he had sent a message, but right now she was way too sad and angry to check anything. Instead, she took her clothes off and put on a comfy pyjama. The brunette looked at her phone on the night table, thinking whether to look at it or not. Right when she was about to do it a knock on the door got her attention.
-Kate, it's me. Can I come in?
Catherine opened the door and found her sister with two cups of tea and a warm smile.
-Come in.-She sat on the bed and her sister followed, leaving the cups on the night table.-Sorry about before I…
-It's okay. I just need a name, James and dad will take care of everything.-The comment made Kate laugh and looked at Pippa. Her eyes were still red from crying and the younger sister put a hand on the others cheek.-Do you want to talk about it?
-I...I was at the pub where he told me. I waited there for nearly an hour.-Kate stood up, starting to walk up and down the room.-I waited there looking at the door every time someone came in, hoping it was him. But nothing.-She was starting to get angry again just thinking about it.-And then, then this waitress comes to me with that rose. You should have seen my face, I looked like a stupid fool. How could I be so naive…
Pippa saw as her eldest sister, always so cheerful and happy, sat next to her again, both hands on her face starting to cry again.
-What makes me so angry is the fact that I don’t even know him, we’ve only talked two or three times and for less than five minutes! How can I have such strong feelings for him?-Kate looked at her sister, sobbing. The younger woman embraced her trying to comfort her and stroking her hair.
-Darling, we can not choose this kind of things. We can not control them or even understand it. If you...If you met him it’s because you two were meant to meet. And it’s not a bad thing to feel this strongly about someone so soon.-Pippa stroked her sister's hair very gently, as if she could broke at any time.
After some minutes in silence, with the only sound of Kate's sobbing, they reheated their cups of tea and switched on the TV, just laying there next to each other. The sisters fell asleep watching some random movie they put on.
Catherine saw herself in a car with her father, dressed in a wedding dress; there were a lot of people in the streets waving at her, screaming her name, like she was somehow important for them. She felt like the car was too small and was about to start hyperventilating but her father grabbed her hand.
-You'll do great. Just breathe, it's going to be the happiest day of your life.-She looked at their hands and realized what she was holding. A wedding bouquet. Lily-of-the-Valley, Myrtle, Hyacinth and Sweet...William.
The brunette suddenly woke up, heavily breathing and nearly sweating. She looked at the alarm clock, 3am. The sigh that came out her mouth felt too heavy, her sister was peacefully sleeping next to her so Kate tried to get out of bed without waking her up. Blaming how sleeping she was, she had no idea why she grabbed her phone on her way out of the bedroom.
When she put the kettle on, she instinctively checked her phone. Seven missed calls, five voicemails and thirteen messages, all from Steve. Feeling too weak for all of it, she waited until her tea was ready and once she sat on the couch she heard the voicemails.
-You have five new messages. First message.-She sipped her tea, waiting, almost hearing her heart pound when it started.-Catherine...I...I don’t, I couldn’t….Second message. I am sorry, that’s what I wanted to say, I...Third message. I want to explain, I..I had a phone call and had to rush home because my grandma needed help with something.-Kate thought that sounded like an excuse.-Fourth message. That was an excuse, I’m so sorry, I didn’t mean to lie to you, I will understand if you don’t want to talk to me but If you could just send me a message just to know you got home okay last night, I would appreciate that.-At that point, Kate’s eyes were watery, about to start bursting into tears.-Fifth message. It’s me again, I am very worried about you, you haven’t replied and I am worried something happened to you. Please, I know I’ve been a jerk and don’t deserve anything from you. You know I won’t be able to go to the museum so I wanted to say how I regret not going into that pub, I hope one day I can properly explain myself...I’m truly and deeply sorry Catherine…
The brunette felt how some tears ran down her cheeks. For a moment she thought it was really sweet the way he cared for her but that was instantly washed out by the memory of herself alone at the pub. She had no idea what to feel. She was mad but at the same time she wanted to talk to him and see him again, she sigh at the thought.
After some minutes, she checked the messages, but they said the same as the voicemails. She decided to reply.
“I got home okay. You don’t need to worry.”
She read it ten times before realizing it could sound rude but she didn’t care. She wasn’t happy, not at all. After what felt ages, Kate fell asleep with the phone on her ear, listening to Steve’s voice and dreaming again with that white bouquet and the flowers, specially about the Sweet Williams…
Steve was wide awake on his bed, he couldn’t sleep, not until knowing Catherine had arrived safely home. His phone rang at 4 in the morning, letting him know he had received a message. He sat down on his bed, quickly looking at the screen. It was hers. He could tell she was angry, and he was the only one to blame, that was for sure. Steve laid back down, not knowing how to make the situation better.
