"Hey, Bruce," You call, running after the scientist as he rushes through the med bay, tablet in hand. "Bruce!"

"What's up, Y/n?" He asks, turning to face you. "Are you gonna ask if they've reconnected to Loki's comms again?"

You let out a breath. "How did you guess?"

Loki - your extremely loving partner - was sent on a mission earlier today along with some of the other Avengers. It's often for you to continue work while he's away; a usually vain attempt to distract your mind from the dangers he could be in.

"Yes, they reconnected a few moments ago. He's alright," Bruce's reassuring smile lifts a huge weight off of your shoulders. "Nat said he-"

Bruce is cut off by an urgent-sounding noise on his tablet. He taps a few times before speaking.

"Hey Tony. Everything good?"

A crackly voice leaves the device. "No... Clint i- injured... retur- base."

"Got it. Get JARVIS to send me the details."

"Will do, over... ou-"

The call ends and Bruce visibly tenses. "Y/n. Go prepare and meet me and the team in Surgery 2."

Your relief instantly fades away to jittery nerves. You nod and turn around, quickly heading to grab your scrubs.

The pace around you picks up as word spreads over the incoming Avengers - no one is entirely sure how bad Clint is injured, but Bruce fears the worst. It doesn't take long for you to prepare - your hands are washed, scrubs, gloves and an apron are on, a disposable mask covers your nose and mouth and your hair is tied up tightly.

You file into the room with the rest of your team and begin setting up the equipment, readying supplies that will likely be needed. The thought of Loki niggles at the back of your mind. You're annoyed you can't meet him on the landing pad as usual. But it's not like him to just... disappear in the middle of a mission. Something must have happened...

You attempt to push the thoughts away. Your top priority now is to take care of Clint; to make sure he survives.

"The Avengers have landed in the Quinjet. Dr Banner says to be ready," JARVIS' mechanical voice rings down from the ceiling; you take a deep breath and ready yourself to do what you do best.

Bruce and the porter wheels a sedated Hawkeye into the bay; everyone gets to work straight away, Bruce overseeing the procedure.

It takes over two hours of surgery. Clint had lost a lot of blood from cuts and bruises everywhere. His worst injury, however, was a large piece of debris wedged in his lower abdomen - it took a lot of effort to remove the debris without causing any extra trauma. With some donor blood in his system and a few stitches here and there, the surgery was concluded and Clint was wheeled to a bay to come to his senses.

"Well done Y/n, you did good in there," Bruce congratulates, offering a smile. "Have the day off, you deserve it. I'll get one of the others to do the paperwork,"

You sigh quietly, happy to have some time off. "Thanks Banner. Don't overwork yourself! I'll come check on Clint later today."

"See you later,"

You turn and walk out of the Med Bay, the doors swinging to-and-fro before shutting behind you. Your gaze floats around the empty corridor, looking for a certain trickster God - sometimes he loiters outside the Med bay while you're in surgery, waiting to make sure you're okay. But today he's no where to be seen.

You shrug it off. He's just been on a mission and is probably exhausted, so he'll likely be in your room; or his, if he's not feeling the best. You take the lift up to the living quarters, skipping the common room and heading straight to your room.

"Hey Lo-" You push the door open, but your bed is empty; the bathroom door open. The room is eerily silent, and somewhat cold. Something feels... off.

You walk over to his room and knock twice - there's no answer. So, you walk right in. Loki never minds about you being in his personal space, so why would today be any different?

"Loki? You in here?" You hear a scuffle behind the closed bathroom door. "Loki?"

"Yep, I'm in the bathroom," He responds, his voice muffled by the separation between you both.

"Are you okay?"

"Fine!" He says much too quickly. Your eyes narrow with scepticism.

He bursts from the bathroom, the door crashing against the wall from his strength. He winces, a lopsided grin creeping on to his face.

"I'm fine," He repeats.

"For the God of lies, you really are a bad liar," You move forwards, rising onto your tip toes and gently angling his face down so you can analyse it.

"Uh, that's rude," He mumbles as you move his face this way and that, scrutinizing every part of his pale complexion for so much as a scratch.

Loki understands what you're doing almost instantly, his eyes rolling playfully.

"I'm fine, darling. I promise,"

You release his face and look down at your feet. "I'm sorry, I just... what happened on the mission? Bruce said your comms had been disconnected and... I panicked I guess."

Loki would typically tilt your head up with a singular finger and promise you that he was fine; that everything is okay. But today he doesn't. He stands silently - you can hardly bear it.

You hold your arms out and envelope him in a big hug. He doesn't return it straight away, what can only be described as a shudder flowing through every inch of his body.

Pulling away just as his arms try to snake around your waist. Your face contorts into one of worry, a small hint of hurt shining through your façade.

"Are you sure you're alright, my love?"

He nods somewhat sombrely.

"You know what?" He speaks. "I just remembered I have to feed the horses,"

Loki's eye twitches almost unnoticeably at his mistake - his lie is clearly one he's told many a time on Asgard.

"Feed the horses, huh?" You can't help but smirk slightly.

"It's a metaphor," He clarifies, pulling himself together and looking as if he hasn't just told the worst lie in the entire multiverse. "I have to go make sure Thor has enough pop tarts."

You hum in suspicious acknowledgement as Loki begins edging towards the door.

"Sure, sure."

"I'll see you later, darling." You're about to ask if you can come with him, but he's gone before a single syllable has left your lips.

The room around you feels much too quiet without him, and much too lonely too. What is up with him? Did he see something on the mission that bothered him? Or is he deliberately trying to hide something from you?

It's often that he's a terrible liar in front of you - despite his title - due to an unspoken rule he created, likely near the beginning of your relationship. It seems he vowed to himself never to lie to you, hence meaning that when he does lie they come out twisted and blocky, not smooth like his deceit towards anyone else.

You're unsure of what to do with yourself, but end up deciding to take a shower to ease away the stress of the day. By the time you've finished and spent time drying your hair, you're sure Loki will have finished... 'making sure Thor has enough pop tarts'.

"Hey Thor, Nat. You seen Loki?" You ask as you wander into the common area, feeling refreshed and a little less tense.

"No, Lady Y/n. I apologise, I last saw him as we departed the jet of the quills earlier today."

You share a look with Nat, trying your best not to laugh.

"Thor, it's a Quinjet." Nat emphasises, rolling her eyes and barely concealing a smirk.

"Yes, that's exactly what I said, Lady Natasha. The jet of the quills." Thor beams like a toddler with candy.

Nat audibly sighs. "Sorry Y/n, I haven't seen him either."

"No worries." You mumble, looking around the room rather hopelessly. "You don't happen to know what happened on the mission with his comms, do you?"

Nat purses her lips for a moment. "It was just a lost signal. I don't think anything actually happened."

"Huh. Okay," Your brows furrow. If nothing happened then why does it feel as if he's avoiding you? You must just be overthinking it. "Thanks."

"You alright?" She adds.

"Uh, yeah-" The lift pings and you hear the doors slide open.

"Ah, brother!" Thor exclaims. "Your lady was just asking after you,"

You turn to see Loki in the lift, an unreadable look on his face.

"There you are! Where have you been?" You ask, your face breaking out in a smile.

"Oh, me? I was just on the balcony enjoying some fresh air." He laughs nervously.

"You were?" Nat asks, shooting you a look. "I was up there a few minutes ago,"

"Oh you were? We must have missed each other." Again, he laughs.

You try to shake away the hurt and confused feeling that has seeped into your soul. "Well, no matter. I have the day off so we could spend it together if you like?" You ask him.

Loki sucks in a breath. "I really would love to, darling, but I have to go fill in my mission report. Maybe later?"

You feel your shoulders sag, but you don't let your expression show your disappointment.

"Talking of which, how did the mission go? You usually give me a very detailed analysis." You say, waltzing into the lift alongside him.

"JARVIS, take us to the living quarters," Loki says to the ceiling and watches as the lift doors close once more. "It went okay, average really." You nod as the doors slide away to reveal the corridor to your rooms. "I shall see you later then, my love,"

Loki takes your hand in his and brings it to his lips gently, then turns and exits the lift.

"Uh, not so fast, Romeo," You call after him, fed up of his anticks. He's clearly avoiding you - and something is clearly up.

You stride over to him; he takes a few steps back until he hits the wall.

"What is up with you?" You ask, jabbing a finger at his chest. He winces.

Your eyebrows twitch with confusion. Why did he wince?

"Nothing is up, my love." He elects not to say more, you guess because he's lying. Again.

Deciding to take matters into your own hands, you place your hand experimentally on his chest. He attempts to hide it, but he definitely flinches.

"Look, I must get on with my work. I promise I shall treat you to dinner tomorrow when it's all done," He grins and slips from your grasp, sauntering into his room.

"Nope," You say defiantly, following him. "You're going to explain to me why you're avoiding me. And I'm not leaving until you do."

"Avoiding you?" The door clicks shut behind you. "Y/n, darling. Don't be so silly."

"Are you calling me crazy now-" You cut off, catching a glimmer of crimson in the sink through the open bathroom door.

"Of course I'm not call-" Loki also stops, noticing what you're making a run for.

"What is this?!" You ask, holding up the bloody rag you found in the sink.

Loki swallows, biting nervously at his lower lip.

"I assure you, it's nothing."

"Don't play this game with me, Loki. What's going on?"

He sighs dramatically. "I merely gained a scratch while on the mission,"

"A scratch? Show me then,"

"I really don't think that's nec-"

"Show me," You interrupt, your tone harsh.

Loki gives in, wincing as he pulls off his shirt. Beneath lies a myriad of scuffs and scratches, some deep enough to still be oozing blood, others just red and angry. You move forwards, fingertips ghosting over the worst gashes as your face betrays your emotions.

Looking up into his eyes, you notice the spark of guilt dancing around - yet you ignore it.

"Why didn't you tell me!? Gods, Loki, this could get infected... look how much dirt there is!" Huffing, you point to the bed. "Lie down."

"I'm sorry, Y/n. I just didn't want you to worry. You worry enough as it is." You ignore his comment, filling up a bowl with warm water and finding a fresh cloth. You bring it into the bedroom and place it on the bed next to him, dipping in the cloth and wringing it out.

"This might hurt," You murmur, gently dabbing at the wounds. Loki's muscles flex, his jaw setting with pain as you clear up the grit and blood.

"The comms cut because of this," Loki starts, speaking as if he owes you the explanation. "There were too many on me and they knocked me to the floor. I skidded and somehow broke the device. I had to fix it with my magic, but it took a while because I had to rid myself of those imbeciles,"

You don't respond straight away, continuing to clean him up.

"And how did no one notice during the subsequent medical exam? Or did you somehow manage to dodge it?"

He chuckles softly. "You know me too well. It was actually very easy to dodge it without you around. Speaking of, how did Clint's surgery go?"

You yawn, tiredness from the day creeping behind your eyes and into your mind.

"It went fine. He's in recovery now and will be on bed rest for the next day or so,"

The cuts are all clean now; you place the rag in the now bloody water and grab a medical kit to place strips over the worst gashes.

"You really are amazing," Loki murmurs, more to himself than you.

You can't help smiling. "And you would be amazing if you didn't hide your injuries from me,"

"I'm sorry my love," He replies.

Now finished with your job, you lean over and press a gentle kiss against his lips.

"You're forgiven," You get up and begin putting everything away, flashing a smirk in his direction. "Although I do still expect that dinner tomorrow night,"

"I wouldn't dare miss it." He grins.

The fact that the camera is flipped in the Loki/Sylvie and Loki/Mobius scenes is a cool editing trick.

Is it just me or did Johnthan use a slightly different voice for HWR? I wonder if it's just because he's being more honest with Loki?

Also did HWR give Loki the ability to timeslip once he went through the door? Kind of a cheap explanation but ehh.

What do we think was different in the new TVA handbooks that OB unboxes? I guess maybe just info about the Tree and maintaining all the branches instead of the Loom and the Sacared Timeline.

When Mobius and Sylvie are talking on the branch, the green and gold light is only on Mobius. Between that and Loki explicitly hearing Mobius' words, that's basically the confirmation that Loki did all this for Mobius. As one twitter user put it, Lokius Nation, we won, but at what cost?

How It Used To Be

Summary: You and Loki are heartbroken when you are married off to his brother, Thor.

Loki truly considered the day of you and Thor’s wedding to be one of the worst days of his life. He had to stand by his brothers side as his best man and watch him put that ring on your finger. He was silent the whole ceremony, trying to focus on holding back the tears that so desperately wanted to fall down his face.

It was a beautiful summer day the day you and Thor got married but all Loki could think of was the moment you two had shared in this exact spot last summer. You and Loki had been dancing throughout the garden as the sun set, stopping you every once in a while to dip you down, making you smile every time he did.

And when he had brought you up for the last time that evening after dipping you, he pressed a passionate kiss to your lips and promised that he would marry you here someday, when the time was right. Now, you had to get married to someone who wasn’t him in the place he had promised to marry you.

Summer used to be so beautiful to Loki but now it all looked grey to him and all it brought was pain. This pain got worse the longer he had to stay at the wedding and watch you and Thor dance together for the first time as a married couple.

And when he was sure that everyone was paying attention to the two of you, he slipped away from the wedding and disappeared to his room in the palace. And once he was in the privacy of his bedroom, he let his tears fall while his chest moved quickly with every breath he took in and let out. Would he ever truly be able to be with you?

While he cried and gazed up at the stars outside his window, Loki cursed himself for falling for you so quickly. But it was so easy to fall in love with you, he couldn’t help it or stop it from happening. And now he had lost all remaining hope that he would get to love you freely without worrying about someone discovering what was going on between the two of you.

He just wished that people thought he was as good of a man as Thor, that way you would’ve never had to marry his brother in the first place and you wouldn’t have to hide your love either.

Later that night once the wedding had been over for a couple hours, Loki heard someone knock at his door. And he would’ve ignored them and attempted to go back to sleep if it wasn’t for the voice he had heard on the other side, yours.

“Loki? Can I come in? I really need to talk to you.” you whispered to him through the wood of his bedroom door, mentally hoping that you were loud enough and he heard you.

He then let out a soft sigh and got out of his bed, dragging himself over to his door. He quickly opened it and closed it behind you once you had entered, not wanting to risk anyone seeing you here. Especially after you just got married to his brother.

Your relationship and your love seemed years away now, like it was a dream and you never actually loved him. You were all he had and now you were married to his brother instead of him.

But little did Loki know, while he was suffering at your wedding so were you, trying so hard to hold back your tears just like Loki had been. You felt your heart break in your chest as you promised yourself to Thor, saying “I do.” when the priest had prompted you to.

And once you were within the privacy of Loki’s room,— still wearing your wedding dress — you finally let the tears you had been expertly holding back all day fall. You placed your hand over your mouth — trying to silence your cries — and Loki wrapped his arms around you, letting you press your face into his chest. Your makeup had already been taken off for you not long ago but you couldn’t wait any longer to see Loki so you sneaked out of you and Thor’s room when no one was paying attention and came here.

You looked up at him from your spot in his arms a few moments later, “I’m so sorry, Loki. I-If I had any say in this, I wouldn’t have married him, I would’ve married you. I love you and only you, I swear.” you quietly said to him, easily becoming a bit hysteric while you continued to cry and your breathing sped up.

You desperately needed Loki to know that you didn’t love Thor the way everyone had tried to make him believe. And in this moment, while you cried to him, he understood all of the pain you were also feeling.

He had been so wrong about you and your loyalty to him and he kind of hated himself for it if he was being honest. But now wasn’t the time for him to be insecure, he needed to be there for you and love you the way you deserve to be loved.

Loki then placed one of his hands on the back of your head, placing the other one on your back and brought you closer to his chest once more. He slowly rocked the two of you back and forth while he started to speak to you and you slid your face into the crook of his neck, “Shh, Shh, it’ll be okay, my love, I believe you. We’ll figure something out, I promise.” he said, causing your crying and breathing to slow down.

You nodded against his chest and looked up at him again, “Can I stay in here tonight? I don’t want to face my new reality quite yet. I want to pretend that everything is how it used to be, how it should be for a little longer.” you asked him, hoping that he would say yes. You really didn’t want to have to go back to Thor tonight.

He placed his hands on your face and gently tipped your head back, then pressed a passionate kiss to your lips. “Of course, my love.” he answered in between kisses, making you smile against his lips.

Loki then scooped you up into his arms bridal style and held you close to him while he walked back over to his bed. He slowly unzipped your dress for you after he had set you down on his bed — gently pushing it onto the floor — and he slipped the sleep shirt he had been wearing off of himself and onto you.

That night, you fell asleep in Loki’s bed, in his arms, truly happy while you laid there and pretended that it was Loki you had just married that day, not Thor.

The following morning, you were woken up by the sound of Loki and Thor yelling at each other in the office attached to Loki’s room as well as the cold temperature that had taken over the bed now that Loki had left it. You frowned at the sound of Thor belittling his brother and overall just being cruel to the raven-haired man.

You assumed that Thor had found you in Loki’s bed that morning and Loki had suggested that they talk in his office to avoid waking you up.

Your heart broke again, this time for your lover as you could hear all of the sadness, anger and desperation in his voice every time he yelled back at his Thor. So you swiftly got out of bed and headed over to Loki’s office, the door just slightly ajar.

You quickly pushed the door open then walked into the room, you looked at Thor first then spoke, “What the hell is going on here?” you sternly said, immediately silencing their argument.

Thor’s eyes narrowed directly at you, prompting Loki to rush to your side, wanting to be close to you in case his brother tried to hurt you for going behind his back. Instead he spoke to you with a sarcastic tone, “Ah, (y/n)! Care to explain what you were doing sleeping in my brothers bed?” Thor asked as he slowly stepped closer to you and waved his hands about while he spoke, making Loki feel more protective of you.

You took a deep breath and steadied yourself before you explained yourself to him, “I have never loved you, Thor, you should know that, my parents chose for us to get married after all. Loki is the person I love, not you,” you said, pointing to Loki while he still stood at your side, “And if I had any say in it, I would’ve married him yesterday. I have loved him for years and I’m tired of hiding it. I’m tired of pretending like he isn’t my soulmate!” you yelled at Thor and he took a step back from you, processing what you had told him.

Thor had been led to believe that you did love him and your marriage had been arranged just because of tradition. But now that he knew the truth, all of the anger in his system quickly left and instead he felt sadness.

“Is this really how you feel, (y/n)?” Thor gently asked you while he furrowed his eyebrows.

You nodded and spoke to him again, “Yes, he’s all I’ve ever wanted. Loki is truly the person I want to spend the rest of my life with.” you confidently answered, your words telling Thor what he needed to do now.

Thor looked at you then Loki once again, “I’m so sorry, I’ve been such a fool and neither of you deserve the cruelty I’ve shown you. I’ll go speak to father right away and have our divorce put in place and make sure that your wedding will happen as soon as possible. I will make sure that the two of you get the future you deserve, even if father doesn’t agree.” Thor replied, taking off the weight that had been resting on both of your chests.

Loki then stood behind you and placed his dominant hand on your shoulder, the other resting at his side. “Thank you, brother.” he said and with that, Thor left the room and went straight to Odin. He wanted to make things right between the three of you now, he didn’t want to waste a single minute.

And once you two were completely alone in Loki’s office, you turned to face him and reached up to gingerly take his face in your hands, placing a kiss to his lips. You hoped that this kiss displayed all of the love you have for him and when he kissed you back, he hoped that his kiss would communicate the same thing.

When the two of you pulled away from each others lips a few minutes later, Loki softly rubbed his nose against your own, letting his forehead lightly rest on yours. “I love you, my sweet girl.” he said to you in this special moment like those words were a prisoner that had been set free, not caring anymore if anyone in the palace halls heard what he just said to you.

His sweet words made you softly smile at him, “And I love you, my sweet Loki.” you replied, causing him to smile with you while you both felt yourselves blush.

The two of you stayed like that for a little while longer when you eventually started to talk again, “Dance with me, Loki?” you asked him as you separated your face from his and gazed up into his emerald green eyes.

“Of course. You know how much I adore dancing with you, darling.” he answered, still smiling, reminding you of how he never gave up the chance to dance with you and feel you in his arms.

And while the two of you danced together, happy tears started to fall down to your cheeks, prompting Loki to stop moving right away. You simply smiled up at him, “We don’t have to hide anymore. We’re finally free to love each other without fearing what could happen if someone finds out.” you explaining, letting Loki know that these were happy tears on your face.

“We are, darling and I plan on letting everyone know how much I love you every chance I get.” he made known to you, that last bit of his statement making you grin.

You were truly his now and he would finally get the future with you that he had always wanted since the day he first met you six years ago. You two would actually get to spend the rest of your lives together and in love.

💙 hi and welcome to my ted talk about the latest episodes of what if, please read through (3) 💙

First of all. Why is season 2 so...happy?

I'm not complaining. Marvel has enough sad stories for a lifetime, but I found that, instead of exploring demises, we're now seeing victories. Old villains find their insight and become heroes (Hela, Nebula, Gamora) and lives are influenced for the better, earlier on (Peter Quill, Bucky, Hope).

It might be nothing.

But I think it's something.

You know what season 2 of what if comes right after? Season 2 of Loki. And, as you'll see at the end of this post, their colors are making themselves known.

Could it be that, from his throne, Loki got sick of watching sad stories and seeing worlds die? There is a chance, I don't know how plausible, but there is, that he's influencing all that we saw this season. A little hope here, a little time there, and, using their free will, everyone gets a second chance.

That, or Uatu felt bad for us and wanted to gift us in honor of New Year being in 1-2 days. Do tell me if you have additions on that.

If I had to bet on something, it would be the overall fan reaction to the opening scene. I screamed, yes. Did they expect us to see Loki's name there in the subtitles and be totally chill about it?

"To be or not to be, that is the question"

I can totally see Tom having this idea for the opening scene: just Loki reciting Hamlet, and altough to his brother's bordedom, acting from Shakespeare. And it was the best idea he could have.

It's a missable detail, but Thor mentions Mjölnir! And you know how? As a gift...for Loki!

He responds to that with "I...have misplaced it" which is, yeah, typical, but how do you just lose Mjölnir, Loki? The idea, however, is that he'd be able to lift it, which I would have loooved to see on screen. But this was fun to have too.

And the response to Captain Carter's "You're a bigger drama queen than your brother" (talking to Thor)?? 😭

"Blessed"

Can we also point out how insane it is that after just being stripped from her home in an unknown world, Peggy still wanted to help?

She not only has a hero's soul, she is that brave as to turn down The Watcher's warnings and offers to take her back safe. And remember, not everyone can hear Uatu as he narrates. But she can, sometimes.

"What if, what if, what if. I have to try."

"Not on my watch"

This ambition of hers, is, of course, given by her humanity too. But that's not only a bad thing. The Watcher's all knowing, his experience of seeing worlds die everyday, has made him unsensible (from our point of view). That's not the case for Peggy.

Amidst all her adventures, however, perhaps she's also searching to avenge the love she lost, searching for her happy ending. In the movie Endgame, I have to admit she felt optional, like Steve wasn't meant to be there with her. But not now.

I wish The Watcher told her she has a happy ending somewhere.

I don't know about you, but this episode...is my favourite ever from the series. It used to be the Strange Supreme one, but that's on the second place of the podium now.

We got to see queen Hela, drama prince/ actor Loki, king Thor. Bucky, NOT the Winter Soldier, and Steve, finally on the same page! Scarlet Witch!! Using her powers for good, not corrupted. All of them in cool costumes too. If things like these were on live action, I'd lose my f- mind, if I haven't already. :))

And now the green. The "rifts" that are tearing this world apart are very familiar in color.

And this is not the only thing that's turning green, when it used to be multi-colored. The prism, too, the one from which The Watcher watches and narrates. And I'm not talking about the Time Stone. I'm talking about the tree of life, and how it might actually have a serious impact over everything. I mean, does Uatu know anything? And what was that decorated Yggradsil in the trailer, before the holidays?

Nevertheless, I think it's related in some way, and if it's not, don't blame me. I really like green.

Okay I finally watched the episode and I have several feelings so here we go...

If you haven't watched the show, stop reading. (Though I hope you have blocked the spoilers tag, if not it's your own fault..don't come at me)

Am I dying every second thinking about him being alone there for eternity? Obviously 😭

But am i stupid or delusional enough to think he won't make a comeback in the next Avengers movie? No.

I don't think those people can fight kang without loki, they would at some point need his help because he's literally the most powerful god out there now.

Coming back to the episode there's not much I cared about, I probably wouldn't have blinked if ob, b15 or Casey would have died..didn't care about them at all if I was being honest and it's not the character's fault.

As much I hated the ship (because god forbid two male characters are friends in any show these days because they have to be lovers otherwise it's homophobia.. remember when bromance existed? Good times)

Mobius had a good character development that began in season 5 and continued this season unlike Sylvie who started as such a badly written selfish character that the only way they could have fixed it this season was to completely sideline her, which thankfully they did. The smirk and smile at the end even knowing that she may never get to see Loki again? (Yeah just die already).

Hopefully I'll never have to see her again.

Coming back to Loki (my precious baby love) i know his arc ended on a bittersweet note (that smile at the end just warmed my heart like never before) and it's more bitter for me than sweet because I can't handle the thought of him being so lonely because this is not what he wanted or deserved but then I think about Loki who died via strangulation and I'm like fuck everything, this is definitely much better than that ending.

Personally I think with time he's going to grow and learn to control this new power (or he could just clone himself and use him in a way? Idk Marvel can do anything) but I can feel it in my bones that this is not the end of him (unless ofcourse Tom is done with him and won't return for future projects)

That being said, Loki is alive and sure he is alone at the moment but he's a hero now, he has more than redeemed himself and he can finally forgive himself for everything that he didn't do right, perhaps this is what he needed to find that sense of purpose he has been looking for all his life. Hopefully he'd see himself as the god that he always was.

A man that was always ridiculed for his selfishness and narcissism chose to save the multiverse by sacrificing his freedom, by giving up his own free will. He chose everything he didn't want, a throne and what seemed like eternal solitude (but hopefully not)..a man of actions indeed. His arc reminds me of Tony in a way and that's beautiful.

Wherever you go, it's just death, destruction, the literal ends of worlds!

Uhhhhhuh? Look what my boy just did for the whole fucking multiverse.

I'm just trying to see the silver lining here that he's alive and he's the moment..he's everything, he literally became the most powerful being to ever exist in mcu and that gives me hope for him…he'd come back. Kang's arc started with him and they'd need him when the time comes. If not I got my fanfiction powers 🤣 (He deserves to find the sort of love that would stay by his side even if he's all that person would ever get)

Thank God they changed the writers this season and fixed somewhat of the mess they had made of this majestic, ethereal god last time.

Overall yeah my heart is breaking for him but look at him..he's the moment, he's the king of the multiverse, he's everything.

HJ: idealist activist who is so convinced his idea of a “perfect” world is right he ends up turning into some authoritarian leader doing the same things he was rebelling against but “for the good reasons”

SH: idk why but he kinda gives me “jealous villain” vibes? “If I can’t have it/them, then no one can” energy… or, alternatively, overprotective partner/parent who goes overboard trying to protect his loved ones and ends up hurting them

YH: I’m so sorry but narcissistic/jealous partner kinda villain 😭 He just seems TOO good to be true…

YS: philosophical chaos maker? Kinda like Makishima Shogo from the anime Psycho Pass… or some kind of sadistic villain who looks innocent and cute maybe? I love him so much but the fact that he might be the smartest member of Ateez and doesn’t look/act like it is definitely a villain trait for me lmao

SN: definitely poor boy who becomes Mafia boss to avenge the loss of his loved ones but loses himself in the process and destructs himself and everyone around him

MG: the one who was screwed over too much in life so he just goes “if being good gets me nowhere, well fuck it, I’ll be bad”

WY: chaos maker but… for fun? arson, fake news spreading, “Loki watching the world burn” kind of vibe…

JH: corporate evil, like the ones from k-dramas except he can’t be defeated bc he’s smart AF and just good at it

Also this makes me wonder what kind of villain I would be… I wonder if it’s possible to do a tarot reading on that? Since it’s a dark theme I guess the energy would be too heavy for a reading but I’m a noob so I don’t know lol

The curtains are barely open, and as the wind blows through them, the cubs take notice and run off to play with them. When they leave you, Thor walks up to the bed; when he sits by you, you wave his scratches away with magic, and he thanks you. “So then, love, why exactly do we have four little terrors running around our room.” He rubs the back of his neck, “I…I…uh wanted to show how much I love you.”

Here we are, the last chapter of the series, I'm so proud of myself for actually sticking to a series all the way through to the end. It gives me so much hope for all the other ones I'm planning. Also, we need more Thor fics 😤! I tried to make this long but I couldn't without stretching it out into obscurity, I'm sorry 😭.

“I’m sorry, come again?”

Thor sighs, “I said I would like your help to find a way to show my adoration for my husband.” Thor had spent the moment in the healer’s room focusing solely on the fact that your hands fit nicely in his and that his crush was most likely blossoming into full-on infatuation. So as is, the obvious choice for him would be to find some way to show his adoration and love for you; now, if only Loki would stop looking at him as if he just grew several other heads.

“You’re already married.”

“How is that a show of adoration?”

“He puts up with you; clearly, that should be enough,” Loki replies.

Thor lightly punches his brother, “Be serious. I want something tangible; our marriage was arranged; we barely had the time to know of each other, much less so now as kings.”

“You have all of eternity for that; just take him to bed; I’m sure he’ll enjoy that.”

“Loki.” Thor’s voice takes on a pleading tone, “please, I’m not as romantically attuned as you or Amora; my strengths lie in battle. Please.”

Loki rolls his eyes, groaning in reluctant agreement; he summons forth a book; it burns in green flames for a bit before they disperse as the trickster opens it. Flicking through the pages, he murmurs to himself as Thor stands, hands twiddling. “We’ll start simple then; what does he like?”

“Uh…”

“Thor, you’ve been around your husband for a while now; please tell me you at least know something about him,” Loki says, “His favorite meal? Book? Artist? Color?”

“Uh, he wears a lot of gold,” Thor responds cheerfully; his cheer doesn’t last long as Loki swats him with the book. “OW!!”

“You utter and complete buffoon!!” Thor raises his arms in defense as Loki swats him again, “How do you expect to do this if you know nothing!” Loki calms down after the seventh or eighth swat; he breathes in deep, taking a moment to compose himself. Thereafter, the trickster has Thor leave him to think on the matter, giving the thunderer the task of ‘getting to know more about his husband aside from the fact that he wears a lot of gold.’

Thor leaves Loki without hesitation, rubbing his arms as he goes to do as his brother hath told him; he finds you in one of the gardens, Amora by your side, throwing harmless sparks of magic at each other. Yours bounces off Amora’s hair, causing it to turn red and grow tenfold its current length; meanwhile, Amora’s viridescent magic wraps around your arms, sprouting forth another pair below them. You wave your new set of arms, laughing as you do so, while Amora sweeps her hair from her face; she huffs in good spirit, sticking out her tongue as you carry on laughing. Thor watches this exchange with equal parts confusion, and amusement.

When his presence is noted, Amora throws a spell at him; he steps aside and takes cover behind you; the enchantress leaves him be, waving away as she leaves and the magic wears off. The magic on you fades away as you turn to face Thor, “Good morning, husband,” you greet him.

“Good morning.” You share a brief kiss, and he smiles wide, happy you were much closer as a pair now, “I missed you when I woke up today.”

You kiss him again, “Amora wanted my help to perfect some of her work, and we sidetracked into playing some games.”

“I saw,” Thor says.

“So, what can I help you with, darling?”

“I was hoping we could do something.”

“Do something?” You jest.

“Together,” Thor clarifies, “If you’re not busy, we could go horse riding or to the library because you like books.”

You tilt your head, “I’m not opposed to horse riding; it could be fun. You know, just the two of us,” you move your hands around his neck, and Thor sways you side to side, “Or we could dance around the garden for a bit, sit by the trees and make out for a bit.”

Thor nods enthusiastically, “I like that option.”

He takes your hand and twirls you around, placing his other hand on your hip; you move together clumsily, laughing as you do so. Thor dips you, kissing your neck before pulling you back up; he thinks back on the lecture Loki gave him alongside the book whacking, “Um…favorite book?”

“There’s a Midgardian playwright; his works are rather entertaining, though the romance is rather lamentable,” you tell him, “I believe one of the couples commits suicide due to their doomed forbidden love.”

“Oh, well, that’s sad.”

“It’s not my favorite book per se, but it was alright; what about you?”

Thor’s eyes dart away, “I’m not the biggest reader in the world,” he admits.

“That’s alright, love; what do you like to do instead?”

“I…I like combat,” Thor replies, “I trained alongside Lady Sif, and I’m well knowledgable in battle tactics,” he divulges further, and you listen intently; when you make it around the garden, the second time, he quiets down, looking away sheepishly. “Sorry.”

“Oh, don’t stop,” you insist.

“But I came here to learn about you,” he pouts.

You snort, “It hardly seems fair for me not to get to know about you in return.” You move from dancing to sitting by the trees; Thor’s arm is around you as he encourages you to keep talking, you pause once or twice to bring him into the conversation more, but he persists in wanting to know about you more. You pat his arm when he appears to be laser-focused on you, “Might I ask why you’re so adamant on this?”

He stands with you, draping his cape around you when the breeze passes by, “You’ll see.”

“What do you mean you’ll see? Just tell me.” Thor kisses you and then rushes off before you can prevent him.

Thor all but disappears for the rest of the day; Loki is less than helpful on how whereabouts and vanishes in thin air when you approach him. Lady Frigga is clueless about Thor’s whereabouts, as is everyone else; you try to find Loki and make him squeal, but he manages to evade you until you grow tired of chasing him. You return to the gardens and spend some time there, Thor doesn’t return that day, and you fall asleep by yourself and wake up to the sound of meows and cursing. Something small and cold touches your face, and you open your eyes to a lion cub in your face.

The cub makes a small chirping sound as you sit up, climbing into your lap; it seeks out affection; you pat its head and turn to the side to see Thor struggling with several three other cubs. They cling to his clothes and make sounds incessantly; Thor’s leg comes up to catch one as it falls from his shoulders, and the one in his right arm bites him; when he drops it, the cub runs off towards you, and the other two follow suit as Thor goes to hold his hand and curse out. The other cubs - two lions and two tigers - struggle to climb the bed; they claw their way up to the bed, Thor’s cape is laid on your knees, and the cubs get tangled in it; growling and snapping at each other as they struggle to get free. Thor stands by the door to your room pouting; you tilt your head as he rubs his arms.

He rubs the back of his neck, “I…I…uh wanted to show how much I love you.”

“With animals?”

“Well…you said you liked animals….and in Asgard, newlyweds receive kittens, but we’re not newlyweds technically, so I…I got you cubs instead because they're still kittens…technically…so they show I love you a lot,” He elaborates, as best as he can.

You shake your head fondly, “Oh darling, you didn’t need to do all that.”

“I know, but I just…I wanted to show you…” he pouts again, glancing down at the cubs. “I’m sorry…do you want me to return them?”

You look at the cubs; they’ve managed to yank one of the curtains down and are in the midst of a tug of war, three versus one, the one being the cub that had woke you up. “No, at least not all of them,” the one cub falls back, whining as it does, and runs off as the other three chase after. “We can keep that one, the little runt.”

Said runt jumping back onto the bed and into your arms as the other three skid under the bed, “We could also keep the other three if you think we can handle it.”

“Yeah, I think we can,” Thor says, so just as the other three cubs join you on the bed, they shuffle in between you and him, cuddling up to you. You move them to your other side so Thor can shuffle close to you again; whatever form of adrenaline had been running in him wears off as he settles close.

“Did you spend all night on this?”

Thor nods, and he yawns, head on your chest; he doesn’t move when the cubs move around to find some comfort; as Thor dozes off, you smile and decide to settle in and join him

End Note:

I saw somewhere where apparently in Viking communities, they'd give a new bride a kitten or kittens, so I kinda took that and twisted it around to a bunch of cubs (two lions, two tigers) because I think it's funnier and because I can. Anyways, yay! I did it, first-ever series done, sorry it took so long to finish off, but here we are, hope you enjoyed the series 🧡. Stay Hydrated.

- at first karasu, shidou and rin was just a joke between you too. But it became the only subject you talk about.

- you often kicked his ankles gently under the table and then smirking. You both would burst out laughing after

- except loki caught feelings much before you did. He finally found someone who loved him for him. But he would go back to france after this project so he just buried these feelings.

- he told himself to enjoy every single second he spent with you

- you would usually watch him and the team pratice. Then dragging out the idiots ( rin and shidou ) cuz they started fighting again.

- they were genuinely scared of you after the first beating session.

- he once saw you jungling with a soccer ball.

- he didn't hesitate to join you and you both started passing eachother the ball in the air.

- you would often discuss about things like how you played for six Summer straight with a team in football. But ended becoming a manager.

- you both would usually stay in eachother room late at night

- you'd fall asleep on him Mid conversation.

- he would gently smile laying you on his bed

- the next morning you would wake to a note

- you fell asleep, breakfast already passed and im practicing with the team. Be sure to get ample rest. I know you've been skipping some sleep hours.

- he was a sweetheart with you

- he would walk back in while you're tying your hair up ( if you're bald or have short hair im sorry-) you'd have a tie in your mouth and he'd just stand there staring you up and down.

- more time passed, more it became awkward between you two.

- it did all come to an end when one evening he inhaled deeply. Grabbing both your hands. Stopping you in your tracks.

- you looked at him straight in the eyes.

- y/n! I love you!

- he admitted. Clenching his eyes shut.

- but his whole body relaxed when he felt your hand cup hia cheek, a sweet and bright smile attached to your face.

- your thumb brushed over his lips gently before you leaned in and pressed your forehead against his

- a hand going on the back of his neck.

- you gently pushed his face, connecting your lips in a sweet and gentle kiss.

- he leaned back, as you cupped both aide of his face and nit leaving his lips for a second.

- oh how long had you waited for this.

- when you parted, you lost yourself in his eyes. Resting your head on his chest, inhaling deeply. Wrapping your arms around his larger figure

- after a while he did the same. Kissing the top of your head.

Hope you enjoyed! The end was like a drabble but separated in sections! I still hope you liked it, tysm for this request, i rly enjoyed writing this.

Pairing - Loki x Female Reader

Warnings - Drunk reader (lmk if you want me to add anything)

Summary - After getting drunk, Y/n seeks out the person she misses most.

Word Count - 900

A/N - I had this idea after listening to the song 'Memories' by Conan Gray on repeat so hopefully it's okay, I'm having a bit of writers block atm 😭

Masterlist

You stumble down the street, not entirely sure where you're going. Okay, maybe that's a lie. You do know where you're going, but you can't seem to stop yourself.

It's late. Very late. And it's raining, fat blobs of water tumbling from the sky and landing on your face and shoulders and clothes. A shiver ripples through your body.

Your hand trails along the wall of a building, your fingertips collecting the grime. The world seems to swerve and tip a little around you, but you don't really care. You know the way there like the back of your hand.

Before you know it, you're at that familiar chipped, black door, using the doorframe to keep you upright as you ring the bell.

It takes a moment for him to get to the door and open it, revealing to you the green eyes and ebony black hair you've missed so much. A clumsy smile spreads across your face.

Loki freezes for a moment, his brow furrowing in confusion. "Y/n? What are you doing here?"

"I just wanna talk," Your words are slow and mix together easily; just like squash and water.

"Are you drunk?" He asks now, moving to lean against the doorframe.

"Noooooo," You slur, blinking to try to keep your vision in focus. "Why on Earth would I be drunk?"

A shiver runs through you again, the rain starting to fall heavier over your already drenched body.

"Wow," You laugh, looking around at the wet surroundings. "Is your bro upset or some shit?"

Loki sighs and moves out of the way, gesturing for you to come in. "You can come in, just don't be too noisy. I don't need any more complaints from my neighbours,"

"You've got complaints for being too noisy?" You ask, knowing how quiet he is. You pull off your rain-ruined pumps and put them as neatly as your drunken brain will allow by his shoe rack.

"I actually got complaints because of Thor,"

"Ohhhh," You walk further into Loki's apartment, enjoying the familiarity. It's been a couple months since you've been here... you didn't dare come back after the break up.

You're ushered into the kitchen, where Loki brews you a nice, warm mug of tea. You sit at his breakfast bar, sipping it and feeling it warm your insides.

"So," He starts. "Are you going to elaborate on why you're here?"

"I said," You take another sip. "I just wanna talk,"

"About what?"

You shrug. "I didn't have anything in mind,"

Loki sighs and rubs his temples. "So you came here from where?"

"The club I think... or it might've been somewhere else,"

"Who were you with?"

"Nat and Wanda,"

"And what happened to them?"

You freeze, mug halfway to your lips. That's a good question. You last remember talking to them... when did you last talk to them? You purse your lips, setting the cup back on the counter.

"What's with all the questions?" You groan as your vision begins to swim. "Are you a..." You wave your hands in the air, trying to think of the correct word. "Person with the flashy car?"

"Flashy car...? Oh, a cop?"

"Bingo! Ding, ding, ding! I am the weakest link, goodbye," You place your head on the table, your swimming vision only worsening.

Loki sighs. "Okay, I think it's time for you to go home,"

"Noooo," You protest, a round of hiccups starting.

"Well, where else are you going to go, huh? Why did you even come here in the first place? I find it hard to believe that you just came here to talk," Loki's harsh tone catches you off guard - in your drunken state, you have no idea how to react.

You sit back up, your lip quivering as tears form in your eyes. "I just miss you and I wanted to see you again. I want you to stay in my memories but I can't get you out of my head! Everywhere I go it's just Loki, Loki, Loki..." You sniffle and hiccup, wiping your eyes with your hands. "I know you didn't wanna be friends or lovers but I do! I can't sleep or do anything without you!"

You sigh, silent tears falling down your face. Loki doesn't respond, his expression too difficult to read. You flop your head back onto the counter, the smell of Loki's cologne wiggling it's way into your mind and acting as a sleeping drought - in a mere moment, you're out for the count.

Loki quickly notices you're asleep, his response dying on his tongue. He sighs again, rubbing his tired eyes. It seems you'll be staying with him tonight.

Your limbs start to sag, so he sweeps you into his arms before you end up on the floor with a bleeding head. A wave of sadness floods his heart as he carries you through his apartment to his bedroom - it hasn't been long since he was carrying you to his bed, happy grins on your faces.

He places you carefully down on the bed, making sure your head rests on the pillow as he tucks you in. It's not like he would've got any sleep anyway, so he doesn't mind giving up his bed.

Another wave of sadness hits him, harder this time - he hates seeing you in such a state, your words slurred and brain mushed up from drinking to forget him...

"For what it's worth," He whispers, tucking a hair behind your ear despite you being oblivious to his words and actions. "I feel the same as you."

Like, I have scrolled past many a post without interacting with it. Sometimes I've even scrolled past posts that I want to interact with but am simply having a bout of executive dysfunction for whatever reason. There've also been many, many, many times (practically every time honestly) in which I do not reach the end of my dash by the end of the day and countless posts are lost to the whims of time because of it. And yeah, people will try to make us feel guilty for that. People who are hurting will especially try to make us feel guilty for that. There is post after post after post after post on this website demonizing people who don't comment or reblog for "ruining fandom." But those posts aren't being fair. Those posts are just coming from people who are hurting.

The truth is that life just be like this sometimes.

Regarding the other thing you said, I am well aware people follow me for a variety of interests! I know that not everyone shares my interest in horrifying atrocities against trainwreck villains, and that's fabulously okay with me. :) I like having differing dimensions and moods and places to exist. It's good for rainy days like today! And I'm very grateful that my broad spectrum of interests doesn't stop you from enjoying the things I post that you are interested in; that makes me incredibly relieved to hear!!

But yeah, so an interaction with a post about, say, Every Shadow isn't an interaction stolen from Vader's uterus. At least, not in my mind. It's true that I may be having feelings right now that are first affecting my ability to work on tamer/more popular interests -- but that doesn't mean I've forgotten every single wonderful person who has conveyed enjoyment of those interests! To the contrary, those people (you included!) make very happy and will continue to make me happy and have no bearing on my sad feelings in any way whatsoever. I enjoy asks about shadow AU and reblogs of Every Shadow chapters and likes of my dumb hot takes just as much today as I will next week and as I did last year. Yo, yesterday, someone even commented on one of the first Loki fanfics I ever wrote (back in 2014!), and even that gave me pure and utter joy. Believe it or not, there's no possible interaction any single one of you could have with me that could dig up bad thoughts or otherwise hurt me. So please don't ever feel like my sad feelings are reflective of anything anyone did or didn't do. <3

My sad feelings are a Me Problem, not a fandom problem. And sometimes Me Problems are nobody's fault. Sometimes people feel bad or need to take steps to preserve their mental health, and it's only the fault of some stupid brain chemicals trained to cause certain illogical reactions. They really faked their death 😱 but I'm happy they're together and they really seemed to have an eye on y/n somehow. (Who was the woman hanging from the fan back then?...hopefully some women who died because of a natural death 😳🥺). Loki planned to get y/n "fatally injured " at her wedding is brilliant and to "prepare" this situation with those threads too. Hmmm I'm not sure if he knows anything about Bruce...to get shot was not part of his plan 🤔... but Bruce know things about Loki and stayed in contact with Stark 👀👀...anyway they maybe should talk and merge their plans 😎👀

I'm pretty sure Loki is fine, I'm sure he has worn his bulletproof vest. He's a professional. We could read in the last lines of our beloved cliffhanger, y/n's mother would never have agreed to kill him...so she seems to know that Loki and her daughter are in love like she is with Bruce? I think phone call nat made to him was a game changer and finally made them come out of hiding for her, as readers we know what had she suffered but those things didn't make it to the media or public, so they don't know everything she has been through in life after their deaths. Everything will be cleared I promise.

He wasn't trying to kil him, he was testing him. As a bodyguard of hers and knowing she took him to that room made bruce realise that he was someone she really trusted.

Rocky is literally useless as a father, in Hindi we call them nalla 😂 he doesn't know about the abuse but still, your daughter came to you for once and you just dismissed her concern like that. Shame on you.

Suzzanah deserves a bit of sympathy but Katlyn doesn't.
