Astro observations part 6
🪻Individuals with Sun in Taurus degrees (2,14,26) are always thinking about money - how they can earn more money, what to spend it on. If it's in Scorpio or conjuncts Pluto, they'll often lie about how much money they actually have just to profit off of you. You'll often hear them say "I don't have any money" but secretly have stash of money hidden in their house
🪻Not only do Aquarius Suns have a lot of friends, they also befriend the shy/awkward/forgotten kid (me). I haven't noticed this with other Sun signs
🪻People with Venus in Leo/Leo degrees (5,17,29) often get complimented on their thick hair
🪻Asteroid Fraga (1105) conjuncting any of your planets/angles/nodes indicates your love for strawberries lol
🪻 Check your Moon in Webb (3041) Persona chart. It gives you more insight on the type of content you like to consume on the internet. You can also take into consideration the degree of your Moon
Aries 🌙 - *watches sports matches live*; *laughs at stupid, childish memes *
Taurus 🌙 - the one who always searches for tutorials; "how to bake lava cake", "how to remove a stripped screw"; hmm, maybe i should move *searches houses for sale*;
Gemini 🌙 - *watches memes*, doesn't care what kind of meme it is as long as it's a meme; *scrolls endlessly on r/todayilearned*
Cancer 🌙 - *watches baby videos*; the type that reads family drama posted on reddit, but also regularly checks what their own relatives post on social media
Leo 🌙 - the newest tea on their fav celebrities; they're the first to know what Zendaya ate this morning, where Tom Hanks went on vacation yesterday and if Kylie Jenner is pregnant again; awww a kitty *ends up in an endless loophole of cat videos*
Virgo 🌙 - "declutter with me" videos, "clean with me" videos; *checks their fav blog every day*; *watches workout videos while working out*; *checks e-mails 20 times a day*; ugh, i need to take a break *watches pet videos*
Libra 🌙 - "get ready with me for..." videos, "OOTD" videos, make-up tutorials; their pinterest is full of outfit inspo and aesthetic house decor; "red/green flags in a guy/girl" videos, "first date do's and don'ts" videos
Scorpio 🌙 - *watches every true crime documentary out there*; "Michael Jackson spirit box session"; time to do the deed *watches p8rn*
Sagittarius 🌙 - *saves bible verses all the time*; searches "how to manifest everything you want", obsessed with Neville Goddard content (i'm so sorry, i'm guilty of this); *decides to go on a spontaneous trip, so they end up watching travel videos*
Capricorn 🌙 - the type that doesn't use the internet for entertainment much; actually, you'd be surprised by how little they use their phone compared to the average person; probably has a daily time limit set on their phones, *reads memoirs and biographies*,
Aquarius 🌙 - twitch is their life basically; if they're not watching someone play a video game, then they're playing a video game; *follows LGBTQ+ content during pride month*
Pisces 🌙 - they're listening to music 24/7, has a playlist for every mood they're going through, *watches tangled for the 7th time in a row*; actually, they're always watching a tv series if not for a disney movie
🪻I noticed that most film directors (Hitchcock, Kubrick, Tarantino) have got Neptune in Gemini or Neptune in Gemini degrees (3,15,27). Besides Hitchcock, they also don’t have any aspect between Neptune and Mercury

The way some people straight up deny soft criticism of the BL industry (stuff that isn't even a secret if you don't close your eyes and ears!!!) Criticism by literally LGBTq people working in said BL industry in Thailand..... basically one of the only ones who's voice are most valid here in this discourse. That's not hypocrism of people working in the industry to open their mouth! That's called self-awareness and using this genre to convey a message and trying to fix issues. This is about Step by Step and Lovely Writer atm. But those are not the only dramas who brought up some critic but somehow people get salty now about that little poke from SbS? Did you sleep the past 3 years?? And it's not a coincident that it's always the same topics certain BL dramas brought up!
I feel like some people here don't get that you can criticize your own work place, your own industry, your own country WITHOUT hating, shaming or demonizing it completely! Yall need stop this black & white thinking and the constant urge to feel personally attacked by something like this...
Especially the message of LW (the same people who make SbS now) was that there is nothing wrong about loving BL stories and they do like producing them. BUT that there are some things in the industry that are bad and harmful NOT ALL OF IT, SOME THINGS! Like the treatment of actors and certain topics by companies and producers. And the main theme of LW: the toxic overstepping and overcontrolling shipping culture that can (and did) destroy real life relationships / friendships under the weight of the pretend relationship (pretend as in they are not dating for real (everyone knows that! or should know that! this is also not even a secret if you watch interviews outside of the fun and couple game shows) at least in most of the cases.... in some rare ones yes, in some very rare cases some actors actually date but they are too afraid to come out due to homophobia and the way the industry & fandom treats those cases (source Dr. Thomas Baudinette who studies the industry as a form of queer asian media and interviewed companies and actors since years... somewhere in this he talks about actor relationships, I can't find the time stamp atm))
ALSO the point about exploiting the LGBTq community is NOT about the fans or LGBTq audience who love these dramas. But about businesses and literal Thailand itself. For using those stories and actors / couples for advertising, for marketing, for tourism even. BUT at the same time some don't care for real life LGBTq issues and rights or the fact that Thailand is still not agreeing on equal marriage (which is not just about them not being able to marry but they get denied a lot of things married couples get. alone the fact that they can't see their partner in the case of an emergency in the hospital because 'they are not family'). In the said SbS scene they were literally discussing which pretend couple has the most fans and how they could use their fandom and fan clubs to gain profit. Don't you guys get how fucking frustrating this is for the LGBTq people and allies who work in the BL industry, to get paraded in front of the camera for money and image but still don't get treated equally??? THAT is what they mean with exploiting.... And it's a lot of producers, writers and some actors who voice those points, not just these few self-aware BL dramas. But doing it through the medium they adress is the best way to reach the right people, to make the right people aware and ask for their support. Since they can't say such things directly (even though they should) unless they want to lose their job, they still like to a degree.
And I am sorry but the opinion of actual thai people who are inside that industry is more valid than some random fan who just doesn't want to understand those things in order to enjoy their shows without feeling bad.... What if I tell you that you can do both and that this is not about shaming you or making you feel guilty (unless you participate in toxic overstepping behavior or are actually LGBTq-phobic, then yes feel guilty)! Acknowledging issues, supporting to fix those issues and still have fun with these dramas and actors.... Those things can and do coexist and nobody said otherwise!!

Ahhh did you see the new rolling stone gaylor article ?? I'm so impressed.
Tumblr media
When Taylor Swift released the long-awaited rerecording of her genre-leaping album 1989, fans eagerly pored over vault tracks, theories of double albums, and limited edition vinyl releases that could predict Swift’s next re-record. But for Gaylors, a dedicated Swift fanbase that’s existed for over a decade, Swift’s prologue and a mention of her feelings surrounding speculation about her love life have dampened what should have been an exciting release.
Thinking about the 24-year-old she was when 1989 was released, Swift writes, “I swore off dating and decided to only focus on myself, my music, my growth, and my female friendships. If I only hung out with my female friends, people couldn’t sensationalize or sexualize that — right? I would learn later on that people could and people would.” Many users online interpreted that line as a subtle callout to Gaylors, supporters of the niche theory that Swift is queer or leaves queer messaging in her songs. But several members of the Gaylor community tell Rolling Stone they’re actually not convinced the callout is about them — and are receiving targeted and homophobic harassment in the process.
For those not extremely online, Gaylor is an unproven theory that Swift is queer and leaves messages alluding to past relationships in her work, a fan theory that originated on the blogging site Tumblr in the mid-2010s. It is also the fan name for groups of people who believe there are queer interpretations of Swift’s songs. (While Swift has been a vocal ally and advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and representation, she has never publicly commented on Gaylor and has only been in public relationships with men.) Gabriela, a 27-year-old Gaylor, tells Rolling Stone she doesn’t believe Swift’s prologue is about the Gaylor fandom specifically, but she’s frustrated at the use of the word ‘sexualize,” which she says has long been co-opted by fans who think Gaylor is harmful or inherently rude.
“I think it’s a call-out yes, but more to the media at large, rather than just about the Gaylor subset of her fandom, which is only a small piece of her complaint. [Swift] doesn’t want to be assumed to be in a sexual, romantic relationship with anyone she is seen next to,” Gabriela says. “Hetlors [those who object to the Gaylor discourse] are cherry-picking to make it about her ‘shutting down gay rumors.’”
As an internationally beloved artist — one capable of selling more movie tickets than Martin Scorcese and convincing an entire fandom to rebuy her music her way — Swift professes an unusually close relationship with her followers. The lyricist often hides clues in her work and visuals, encouraging fans to decipher what coded messages and hints she’s leaving behind. But Swift has also verbalized how upset slut-shaming and assumptions about her love life make her. Anna, a 23-year-old Gaylor who uses they/them pronouns, agrees that the prologue wasn’t about Gaylor specifically but says they do think all Swift fans online could operate with more boundaries.
“Of course, I’m a little annoyed that people are pulling one or two lines of the prologue out of context and using it as a justification to be homophobic and send death threats to my friends, but I don’t think Taylor is at fault for people misconstruing her words and I think she has every right to call out things that make her uncomfortable,” Anna tells Rolling Stone. “’Shipping’ culture across the fandom seems to have gotten really ugly recently on all accounts. I’ve seen people speculate on her sex life, openly and graphically, track her location, insinuate that she wants/has children and just overall cross a lot of boundaries. It may be unpopular for me to say it, but I do think members on all sides needed to be put in their place a little bit.”
All of the Gaylor fans who spoke to Rolling Stone expressed that beyond the prologue, much of the reaction to them as a group has stemmed from a lack of understanding about why the fandom exists and has lasted for almost a decade. Liv, 26, says that the Gaylor community has been a large part of her life — it’s even how she met her current boyfriend. And she tells Rolling Stone the identity has allowed her to have a deeper understanding of Swift’s lyrics.
“It’s always fun for me to think about what inspired a song. So even if it’s not what happened in Taylor’s life, it’s interesting for me to think about a song through a queer lens, because I feel like it adds a lot of layers that a song about a guy might not have,” Liv says. “And I don’t really know any straight people who are that deeply obsessed with Emily Dickinson.”
The X account @gaylornews has over 12,000 followers. The admin behind the account declined to include her name but tells Rolling Stone Gaylor isn’t just a fun internet conspiracy theory, but means a lot to the community.
“Analyzing her lyrics through a queer perspective is more about defying heteronormative narratives and finding representation and not about invading Taylor’s privacy or sensationalizing her personal life,” the account owner says. “Gaylor is about queer people finding a safe space which straight people not only find but already have everywhere, is about all the things you never learned about yourself, is about feeling seen and genuinely understood.”
Regardless of what people think the prologue is about, Gaylors are worried about one thing: targeted harassment from more mainstream fans of Swift. In an April 2023 report from social media tracking firm Graphika, researchers found that Gaylors made up nine percent of active Swift fans on social media, but are often exiled and isolated from neutral fan spaces. The study also found that anti-Gaylor accounts, also referred to as Hetlors, “play a key role” in how the theory is presented to mainstream audiences and often misrepresent commonly held Gaylor beliefs, which can lead to the harassment and doxxing of neutral Gaylor accounts. Each of the Gaylors who spoke to Rolling Stone detailed targeted harassment, hate speech, and homophobia they’ve received online, something they all believe Swift would stand against.
“I think that people who are against Gaylors think we’re way more serious about it than we are. A lot of the things we say are jokes or ideas or possible theories,” Liv says. “And at the end of the day, none of us know what the truth is about her personal relationships. And we shouldn’t want to because [Taylor Swift] is entitled to her privacy.”

Hiii I love you writing so much <3
I would love to see the housewardens with a bi S/O. How would then react? (gn please)
A/N: Oh, as a bisexual, I loved working on this one.
(Beware: it contains my personal headcanons about some worldbuilding and different characters orientation. It is merely my vision—you have all rights to disagree.)
GN!READER COMING OUT AS BISEXUAL TO THE HOUSEWARDENS AND HOW THEY REACT
Riddle Rosehearts. ❤️
— ”Wait, what do you mean you are bisexual? So, you can speak two languages or what?”
— Genuinely apologising here, but I believe that he has no idea about LGBTQ+ community. You need to explain him more about it;
— I feel like he knows the basics like the fact people could date people their gender, but overall everything you say means nothing to him;
— Though, I also think that because of his deprivation in the social contact with people—and because I don't think his mother had ever spoke with him about romantical love in general—he has no prejudices about it;
— (I also headcanon that later on he defines himself as asexual, but it is just my vision—);
— So, Riddle attentively listens to all of your explanations, thanks you for the trust, and accepts you easily.
Leona Kingscholar. 💛
— Firstly, I headcanon Leona as the open bisexual. And secondly, I like to imagine that Afterglow Savanna is a very progressive place to live in. They are highly feministic as we saw already, and, I think they are very LGBTG+ supportive community;
— Because of that, I also think that Leona had no idea that not everyone are so supportive. That coming out could be a dangerous and unnerving thing;
— Imagine coming out to him, only to see him shrugging the unbothered king he is...
— But! The moment you tell him about it, or about your genuine concerns about sharing it with him, Leona fixes his mistake by comforting you;
— And, oh, I think he would love taking you on trips to the Afterglow Savanna, so you get to see how accepting and free his people are;
— (Lmao, I think that sometimes both of you could just lazily slump over each other, and checking out random people in the crowd, because why not?)
Azul Ashengrotto. 🩵
— Oh, I think that Azul is very touched that he was shared with this kind of information;
— He is aware how judgmental the world can be, and that sometimes, sharing with this even with your closest friends and family could be hard;
— And, Azul knows that most of the people would never trust him with these things. So, he accepts your coming out as something especially valuable for many reasons;
— I feel like he would be the ”embarrassingly supportive parent” type of person, though. Like the one, who buys you awkward t-shirts and cups with bisexual flags;
— Which might or might not to be followed by the stupid puns;
— If you ask him about his preferences, he would probably try to pull out the ”I am Y/n-sexual” card.
Kalim Al-Asim. 🧡
— When it comes to Scalding Sands, I kind of see them to the the opposite of the Savanna. Which means that I see their community as the old-fashioned one, with conservative ways of thinking;
— So, for Kalim I have two possible scenarios, that are quite contradictory?
— Scenario number one: Kalim is clueless about all of this stuff—much like Riddle, but even worse—and he is not very sure about his own preferences;
— However, he is willing to research about it more—with your guiding hand, of course—and you can be assured that he will support you, even despite views of his country about this matter;
— In the second one I see him as a closet bisexual, who tries to keep it quiet for an obvious reasons;
— Which leads to him, supporting you well. I also think, he would be an active fighter for LGBTQ+ rights, often participating in the Gay Pride.
Vil Schoenheit. 💜
— Well, he works among models, actors, singers and a lot of different starts;
— Most of people in there are either friendly, or the part of the community theirselves, and with Vil practically growing up among them, it is only logical that he is not homophobic;
— I love to think that he is the part of the LGBTQ+ community himself, though, I don't have a specific headcanon for him;
— But... I think, he is in the closet as well;
— Don't get me wrong, but Vil is a very private type of star. He likes to keep everything personal in the secret, and such things could easily became a hot topic in the social media;
— However, when you confess to him about being bisexual, he is instantly very supportive, and comes out to you in return. You can count on him as much as he counts on you.
Idia Shroud. 💙
— I actually headcanon him as aroace, that is why I am having a hard time writing romantic works with his character, but let's ignore this;
— Oh, Idia is a child of internet. More to say, he is a fandom person. There is no way, he had never read fanfics on Ao3, and had his own pairings, lmao;
— I also headcanon him as that one type of guy, who ships his classmates, but he would be strangely accurate with that;
— Nevertheless, I think he is so absorbed in the virtual world and his circle of online friends, that he tends to forget that not all the world is gay and that homophobic people exist???
— So, when you coming out to him, he just... Shrugs. Like, hey, you are not special?
— It is up to you if you laugh about it and take his reaction as it is, or point out to him that you were nervous about it. In the second option, he will apologise and reassure you that everything is fine. But the result in all the same, he accepts you.
Malleus Draconia. 💚
— ”Wait, what do you mean you are bisexual? So, you can speak two languages or what?” X2
— But, consider this: I headcanon that all fae are queer;
— So, Malleus might not know about labels, but he grew up in the place, where everyone is gay, so...
— He finds it fascinating—and annoying—how different humal culture is from what he knows. Malleus also find a hard time understanding why anyone would hate people for loving someone;
— He quickly reassures you that it is absolutely normal, and he wouldn't care less. He loves you so much!! Please don't worry!! (Ha-ha, Lilia had a crush on both of my parents, so—);
— ...And I also think that just like Azul, he would buy a very cringe merch. Like t-shirts with ”My Lover Is Bisexual!” or ”BI proud!” shit, lmao. He thinks it is sweet and hilarious, and you can't do anything about it. Sorry.

Hey Miles! What's your type?
Miles looks at his friends, "Hmm?"
"What's your type?" Gwen asked, "Like what do you see yourself with?"
Pavtri nodded, "Yeah, what kind of boy or girl you like?" Hobie stood listening them, his whole body turning into a curious colors; like soft green, bright yellow and gray with magazine and newspaper prints all over with symbols of curiosity fonts, and imagery.
"Hmm, I always did like girls like Gwen; smart, funny, serious, and vulnerable like good way. Like shows her sensitive side, I guess..." Miles explains about the girls he dated being similar to his old crush, Gwen. This got Gwen blushing so hard her face turns tomato red.
"Awe, love you too, man!" She plays off her blushing as she pats harshly on her friend's back. The two did like each other at one point, but it was at the wrong time. She needed to heal herself before getting involved in a serious relationship. Miles needs to deal with his own traumas and wanted the Spider people he was close to, to gain back his trust. So, they never went for it and slowly became close friends instead of lovers. It's safer like that.
"Ow!" Miles rubs his arms feeling pain on his back being nervous.
"What about guys! You said your into guys too!" Pavtri got close to his friend's face while holding his hand, even Hobie got close to listen.
"Well... umm... never really thought about it. I guess, the same thing as Gwen- um..." His honey-brown eyes started to drift away from eye contact being flustered. "I kinda like tall guys! Like really tall."
Gwen saw Hobie being pink, then stood next to Miles with his hand measuring Miles' height against his own. Hobie is a freakin' tall dude, being six foot and four inches while Miles only six foot. This made the teenager girl giggle.
"What else?" Pavtri asked.
Miles wasn't paying attention to Hobie and Gwen assuming they were being goofy with each other. "Umm... I always saw myself being with a guy that's edgy, likes music..." Hobie did a happy pose, showing off his outfit being punk and his guitar being, "romantic." The punker pulled out a rose being the romantic type.
"Funny, smart, not afraid to be sensitive, sweet with kids!" Hobie putting on a goofy glasses with mustache, then a book by Albert Einstein and pulls out Mayday from the blue while holding her. Mayday giggles at the punker being surprised he grab her out of home from a portal!
"Kids? You want kids!"
"No, I mean... i dunno a guy that's nice with kids is a green flag for me." Miles rubs his chin unaware of Peter 616 coming out of the portal to take back his daughter from the punker and wag his finger. Mayday merely laughs agains before waving the punker goodbye. The two went back to their world. "Oh, I always saw myself being with a black man, someone Jamaican or Caribbean but I wouldn't mind an Afro Latino or African or just black." He rub his neck.
Hobie happily stood showing off his tattoo of a Jamaican and Haitian pride alongside his West African flag to represent his descendants. Gwen snickers seeing how clueless Miles is being with his type. "What else? No Indian or brown love, Miles." Pavtri pouts.
"Oh, I don't mind that! I'm down for anyone." Miles shyly said, "I do like guys like you, Pav. Like sweet, funny and always putting a positive attitude!"
"Ohh, Miles! You make me wanna date you!" Pavtri hugs him having to nuzzle his cheek, "Hehehe, if I wasn't dating my Gayatri, you'll be my bae!"
That made Hobie jealous, turning grey with newspaper labels with prints, "Do not touch! Warning!"
"Hahaha, awe Pav, you're too nice." Miles giggles, then he said, "Oh, I like guys that are kinda bad boys... like they break the rules."
Hobie turns pink again, that is him. "Oh, and he cares about social views like Black Lives Matter, Women's Rights, LGBTQ plus umm... you know people's rights, heh. I guess, that kind of guy is unrealistic, huh?"
The punker looks surprised and exaggerated his pose into a big WHAT, with hands in the air and squatting. Gwen burst out laughing seeing how this is the perfect description of Hobie Brown.
"Awe, really?" Pavtri's brown eyes glance over at Hobie looking confused and lost. "I mean, I feel like someone already exists."
"I dunno... the guys I meet always be bums, then again I haven't dated much." Miles explains, "Oh, maybe this being a stretched but a guy with a nice accent is hot, y'know."
Hobie threw his hands in the air, Miles' man is right here. Pavtri giggles, "Miles..."
"You describe Hobie?" Gwen hums.
Miles looking flustered at his crush but the sixteen year old look so lost, "I did! Oh..." He glances over at the punker, "It's because you're so amazing! Anyone would be so happy to be with you, man!"
Hobie had hearts with his grey pop into a blooms of pinks being so happy, he picks up his friend with a nuzzle, "Awe, I love you, too, Sunflower!"
"Huh! Where did that come from?" Miles felt his face so warm, he cover his face being embarrassed by all this.
Gwen said to Pavtri seeing Hobie happily carrying around Miles like a couple. "You know... they are taking their sweet ass time to date!"
"You know, Miles... our sweet Miles is too shy and naive!" Pavtri giggles.

Out of no nowhere.
(Or literally written out before double digit chapters)
but we know antis are Illiterate.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ah,yes,Shiggy accusing Deku of loving his "present" which that said present is Bakugo. Telling Bakugo he was Deku's most special person,brings up the fact that Deku was HELLA pissed off when he hurt Bakugo,and not to mention,this man is doing this because of how strongly Deku's reactions are.(And him putting extra emphasis on, "love" will not go unnoticed.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Monoma ALSO using Bakugo as a way to rile Deku up. (And it works better than he had anticipated.)
Tumblr media
Dude called Deku out on claiming Bakugo as his own,and Deku doesn't even fucking deny it. He actually buckles down. So,obviously we have things dating back too season three of the anime about how Deku cares very deeply about Bakugo. (We weren't even in the Double Digits when Hori was spelling it out) and I've seen people say, "This is coming out of nowhere." Honey, we got proof from chapter 81 that Deku responds like this to Bakugo being hurt. Which I've talked about this before in more detail.
Tumblr media
But then people accuse him of queer baiting. (Like you actually fucking care about a very common issue for LGBTQ+ representation) and comparing him to Disney's milking of half assed gay characters who barley have any meaningful moments so they can cut it out in other countries. And,last time I checked,GreeNade has TOO MANY meaningful moments,I honestly couldn't count them on two hands.
Here in,y'know,reality,Horikoshi,is just explicitly saying what has been shown a million times,because people like YOU don't get it. And when you realize there isn't any way to use the, "It's shonen," or, " brotherly love" excuse,you start using toxic queer stereotypes. That all queer people sexualize everything,even death.
Tumblr media
you fall back to, "They're just minors." Because if you're gay you're obviously only sexual and kinky. But, will openly talk about Deku "Knocking up Ochaco," like that ISN'T sexualizing minors,but two boys being in love is like fifty shades of grey?
Also find shit like this funny,because they are openly admitting to seeing the romantic potential. Like this gem.
Tumblr media
why would these photos trigger such a reaction unless, y'know,you're scared that these two might actually be gay and you hate being reminded of that fact? And if that's truly the case,you need to drop the manga,because from the way it's been going...your worst fears are about to become cannon.
Also,if wanna know where You can see some of the toxic hate GreeNade shippers get to spread awareness,you can check that out here,(or just go to a random bkdk\dkbk post and see the comments ,there's a ninety percent chance you'll see toxic antis)that's where I've found a lot of the hate for them that no one else in the fandom wants anyone to know about.

I've been thinking about mules, and how fucked up the Discourse™ would be if humans and some other sapient hominid were in the same situation as horses and donkeys. The chromosomal mismatch (horses have 64, donkeys 62, mules 63) renders their offspring infertile and bring out some "primitive" traits not commonly expressed by their parents-- imagine what might happen in the development of a sapient creature.
Can you imagine how fucked up the fight for equality in marriage, sex rights, etc. would be? Would it be justifiable to have a child with your partner, knowing said child will suffer the consequences for your actions? Full scale eugenics is probably off the table for ethical reasons, but would it not also be unethical to bring into the word a child guaranteed to be infertile, developmentally delayed, or unable to live longer than their parents? The fight for LGBTQ+ rights has been ridiculously difficult, and there's literally no downsides. The debate over the rights for Human-46s and Human-48s to get it on would be terrifying.
It only matters in cases where pregnancy is a concern, but we all know how fucked everything about normal birth control is. How bad would your offspring need to have it for mandatory sterilization to be on the table? The dating scene for straight people would be so fucking dystopian. Sure, you like this guy, but do you like him enough to get a hysterectomy? Are you sure he's the one? That you won't fall apart in three years? That you won't find yourself with someone of the same species, craving children of your own, but unable because of a decision you made as drunk college kid? It matters less if you're gay/straight but one of you is trans/otherwise unable to produce a child via raw-dogging, but I trying to envisage the discourse around "The government forced me to tie my tubes even though my partner tops" makes me feel ill.
Growing up as a Human-47 would also have to suck -- knowing your parents cared more about a five second orgasm than the fifty years you get to spend knowing you're inferior to both of them. "Was it really worth it, Mom?" you ask. "Did he make you cum well enough to offset my fifth-grade reading level?"
The flip side is also bad: what if Human-47s were better than their parents, but still infertile. Are you so committed to the survival of your species that you're willing to forgo that hybrid vigor? Is it more important to you that your child produce sperm/eggs than be capable of true, total self-actualization? Do you you love your spouse enough to (relatively) stunt your children? On the flip side, is your child's success more important than letting them raise a family? Growing up Human-46/48, especially if you don't even want kinds, can you forgive your parents for their choice? Can a wanting Human-47 mother or father forgive their parents?
Not trying to draw explicit parallels with real-world issues here, and I think most of these questions aren't too hard to find good solutions to-- but I've been turning this idea over in my head like a rotisserie chicken for months and I think it might kill me if I don't get it out.

Criminal Minds PRIDE Fic Challenge!
Here we go! First writing challenge ever and I'm even more excited about the theme. During June I ask fic writers to challenge themselves a little bit by writing a piece that is LGBTQ+ inclusive!!! Don't let the topic intimidate you; If you want to participate, but don't know where to start, there are prompts to help. All the fics will be collected in a Masterlist that will be avalible by July 1st.
Note: if you have accessibility issues with this post (or any of my posts!) let me know and I can send you the information in an accessible format.
Tumblr media
Prompts and rules are under the cut!
------
These prompts are only ideas to help get you started! You can write any LGBTQ+ centered fic you want! Feel free to modify any of the more specific prompts to your liking.
Prompts:
Character coming out to their friends/family/the team.
Character's found family is more supportive than biological family when they come out.
Characters go to a pride parade/festival/event!
Characters discuss queer coding in media.
Character(s) explains their new, queer relationship to a child.
Character 1's child comes out to them. They go to Character 2 to ask what they wish their parents would have done.
Character 1 is having an identity crisis (gender or sexuality). They go to Character 2 for help.
Character 1 is confident about their identity. Character 2 isn't, so they ask for some advice.
Character 1 takes Character 2 to a gay bar for the first time to act as their wingman/wingwoman/wingperson.
Character 1 is unsure if they're attracted to or envious of Character 2's confidence in their identity.
Character has been dating Morgan, but realizes they're not attracted to men. He isn't sure how he ended up in this situation twice, but it's the perfect opportunity for him to play matchmaker for his ex girlfriends.
Character comes out to the team (or it's just pride month) and Penelope goes a bit overboard with decorations.
For the writers who are intimidated by this topic or unsure if they can write it: write something with GN!reader. It's less intimidating than you think, and it can make someone's day to be able to read a fic they might otherwise not relate to!
Bi and Pan Prompts:
Character 1 has always thought they were straight, but they realize their feelings for their best friend, Character 2, are more than platonic.
Character 1 is in a straight passing relationship and worries about the visibility of their queer identity. Their partner is incredibly supportive in helping them express themselves.
(NSFW) What does Emily really do during a sin to win weekend?
Trans and Nonbinary Prompts:
Character 1 gives Character 2 a gender affirming haircut.
Hotch teaches Character how to shave.
JJ teaches Character how to do make up.
Character finds themselves needing gender affirming clothes. Rossi makes sure they have the best of the best.
(NSFW) Character 1 gifts Character 2 gender affirming lingerie and it gives them quite the confidence boost.
Aro and Ace Prompts:
Character 1 keeps trying to set up Character 2 with people/telling them to find someone to help ease their stress. Character 2 has had enough of it.
Character has a monthly spike in libido and it makes them question their identity. Spencer tries to help with a ramble about science (NSFW add on: and a few other ways).
------
Rules:
The fic can reader insert, OC, character x character, general fic, etc. as long as the character(s) is from Criminal Minds (yes, even the ones I don't write for).
Fics can be any genre and can be platonic or romantic in nature... and yes, this includes smut (I know, I know my brand is ruined. Oh well). You must be 18+ if you are going to submit smut. You all know I love platonic fics very much if not more!
You can write something new or dig up something you've already written! I'm also happy to add on fics that are sent to me after the masterlist is posted.
Tag me in your fic or message me the link. Please list the ship, content warnings, and have a 1-2 sentence summary of your piece! If you have multiple pieces, you can submit a mini masterlist.
Be kind and respectful! Reach out to me if you have any concerns. This blog is a safe space!
------
Thank you to @imagining-in-the-margins for the support and for sending some of the prompts from discord! (and telling me it's safe to tag @foxy-eva for this too)

TLOK Comics
I AM REALLY SICK OF THE TLOK CANON COMICS AVOIDING ANYTHING THAT PRIMARILY FOCUSES ON KORRA AND ASAMI.
Turf Wars didn't really address their relationship going forward since we never see them talking about it directly outside of that one moment in Spirit World (the how did you know moment, which doesn't address their relationship going forward), brief meet the parents (ends badly), talking to Kya about acceptance of LGBTQ couples, and saying i love you at the end. Worse, Turf wars was a damsel in distress trope (these need to stop; it's boring/bad writing).
Why can we not have scenes of them talking about their relationship, how they'll live together and where, some of the rituals they start doing together, etc. Them having a cute date night, that gets interrupted, they are badass together, then they go back to doing their date night. Or Avatar Korra doing some Avatar-mission with Asami at her side being just as badass.
Like, I do not understand why they avoid them so damn much. They just bait us with fancy covers and snippets that barely cover their relationship. Also, I'd love to see the comic writer for a Korrasami comic be a bi or lesbian writer, so we can actually get solid writing for once. Is that so hard to ask?
Do we need to start a petition to demand this?
And I'd like to also demand that they fucking STOP nerfing Asami? She is perfectly capable of taking down nearly anyone by herself. She took down six Equalists and a mech tank in Book 1 for heaven's sake. She took down Red Lotus people in one move in Book 3. Rebuild an airship and built a sandsailer in Book 3. She flies planes and can invent ridiculously fancy tech like hummingbirds.
And yet they keep giving us shitty damsel in distress tropes with her. STOP IT.
Let Korra and Asami work as badass partners for once.
Anyway, that's my rant of the century.
No, I don't want to read another one-shot that doesn't feature them. *sighs* I'm just so frustrated.
[EDIT: I want to be clear her that Asami being kidnapped by Tokuga is the literal definition of damsel in distress. Yes, she uses her badass engineering skills to try to ruin his plans, but this ultimate fails as he overpowers her and starts choking her. Korra comes to her rescue. Why is this so frustrating? Asami is a badass fighter who can kick someone off a motorcycle and steal their spear while at it in Book 3. She took down six equalists at the same time after blowing up their mech tank in book 1. She's more than capable of taking down Tokuga, and yet PLOT made it so she couldn't. It was jarring and a bit unbelievable considering what we've seen of her capabilities in the actual show. We see the same thing in Ruins of Empire. Where her, Bolin, and Mako are overwhelmed by only a handful of soldiers. Asami could have taken down several of them herself, and Mako's lightning is highly effective against metal. Yet they're still taken? Again, it's the damsel in distress plot. This time Asami's mind and body is kidnapped (due to brainwashing), and Korra must save her. It's boring and shitty writing.]

Casey Novak x autistic fem!reader Warnings: N/A Word Count: 1,075
Your makeup bag sat on the counter as you dabbed on foundation in the dusty ballpark bathroom. You didn't used to be a makeup person, but a new job in a professional setting had changed your tune. Now you wore it almost every day, except when you were playing softball, of course.
Your thighs were burning from an hour and a half of playing catcher, and you knew you'd need an extra bit of green-tinged concealer to negate the raging red in your cheeks. You'd changed out of your dirty shorts and tank top and into a baggy pair of pink trousers and a band t-shirt. You were just starting on your eyebrows when Casey emerged from the stall behind you and moved forward to wash her hands.
You'd only lived in the city for a few months, but you'd already made several friends, thanks to the local LGBTQ+ softball league. Casey was probably the one you were closest to so far. You often went out for lunch or drinks after your Sunday games.
"You look good," Casey said, eyeing you. "Like really good."
"Thanks!" you chirped, brushing mascara on your eyelashes. "You too!"
Casey did look good in her light high-rise jeans and tank top. But, then, Casey always looked good. She looked stunning. You'd been deeply awkward around her at first; she was so pretty you often stumbled over your words in her presence. But after you'd hung out a few times—and convinced yourself that she was way out of your league and, therefore, solid friend material—you'd found your stride, able to be your awkward, quirky self.
Unbeknownst to you, your awkward, quirky self had Casey in an absolute chokehold. Casey had dated a lot of women and, fair or not, she often found herself categorizing them. As soon as they fit somewhere, she got bored. It was her job to predict people, but she didn't like to be able to do it in her relationships. She wanted someone who didn't fit in any of the categories. And you. You didn't quite fit anywhere. Soft and strong. Masculine and feminine. Serious and smart with a wickedly sharp of sense of humor. Awkward in a way that somehow made you cool at the same time. Every new thing she learned about you—and there was a lot to learn—made her like you more. The only problem was that you didn't seem to be getting the hint. Or maybe you were, and you just weren't interested.
"What are you doing after this?" Casey asked, pulling out her own makeup bag and trying to sound uninterested.
"Going out with Emmy and Tom," you said, smearing on a little blush—you'd overdone it on the concealer. "To that place with all the frozen margs. I can't remember what it's called."
"With Emmy and Tom," Casey repeated, trying not to sound as jealous as she was.
"Mmhm," you said, dabbing your lipstick with a bit of paper towel. You threw it away and turned to Casey, leaning on the bathroom counter. "You want to come? I'm sure they'd love for you to join."
"I was thinking," Casey replied, "that me and you could do something."
"Well, yeah, sure," you said, twirling your fingers next to your ear—you didn't know it, but it was Casey's favorite of your stims. "Obviously, I can't today because of, you know, Emmy and Tom, but we could grab coffee or something later this week?"
Casey stared at you so intensely that you had to look away; you didn't do well with prolonged eye contact. "Promise me you'll look this nice?" she teased.
"Please," you said, shrugging your shoulders and throwing your makeup bag into your backpack. "I always look this nice. Well," you faltered. "When I'm not feeling lazy, that is. Which..."
Casey laughed and ran a hand through her hair. "Damn," she said. "You are so clueless, you know that?"
Your face flushed, and you worried that you'd missed a social cue. Maybe an important one. Your brain raced backwards through the conversation, trying to figure out where you'd messed up.
"Y/N," she said, leaning down so her eyes were level with yours. She was so close you could smell the perfume on her neck—something woodsy and intoxicating. "When I say you look nice, I mean it in a gay way, not in a friends way."
Your stomach flipped. "Oh," you said quietly.
"When I say we should do something just us, I mean I want to take you out on a date. I'd like to kiss you. And I'd like to take you home after, if you're up for it."
You were, quite literally, stunned into silence. You had never had a girlfriend, never even had anyone interested in you. And because you were comfortable on your own, you were perfectly fine with that. But a girl could dream, right? And here was an absolute dream of a woman who said she wanted you. You hadn't even tried to be cool around her, so sure were you that you'd never have a chance.
Casey's confidence was waning the longer the silence went on. "I mean, if you're not interested, that's okay. Just say the word, and I'll back off."
"No, no!" you exclaimed, working yourself up to meet her eyes. "I'm definitely, definitely interested. I would love to do something just us. But, uh, still not today because Emmy and Tom."
"—Emmy and Tom," Casey's voice overlapped with yours. She tried and failed to hide a ridiculously big smile. "How about Friday?"
"Sure!" you said. "Sure, I can't wait!" You knew your stims betrayed a little more of your emotion than you'd like, but you couldn't help yourself, eyes pinching shut and fingers shaking frantically next to your ears. You felt your cheeks growing red in embarassment.
"Great! I'll call you," Casey finished, throwing her softball bag over her shoulder. "By the way," she said as she walked by you, your hands still twitching at the side of your head. "You're really cute when you do that." You blinked in surprise. Casey planted a quick kiss on your cheek before walking out, letting the bathroom door swing shut behind her.
You waited a beat before meeting your own eyes in the mirror and grinning like a lunatic. "Holy shit!" you squeaked. "Holy shit!" You fist pumped the air a few times before stimming your fingers and eyes again, a little less self-consciously this time. You took a deep breath to calm yourself and walked out the door, knowing it would be torture not to tell Emmy and Tom and maybe everyone you knew about your date with Casey. But you didn't want to jinx it. Not when someone like Casey Novak was on the line.

as an aroace, i dont understand the point or concept of marriage very well. to me its like making a contract with someone to be/live with them for the rest of your life?? if i ever actually got married, even in a queerplatonic way, that aint workin out for me, i would divorce them in less than a year. i need my space and i would just get sick of any partner (platonic or romantic).
also it's funny because when i was younger, i didnt like the idea of being married, even if i did have a crush on anyone. i didnt like the thought of marrying them and being with them for the rest of my life, or even doing things like kissing them or whatever else people do. there was literally one exception, just one, and i only even wanted to like, hug or hold hands.
and after a while i stopped getting crushes or the urge to get to know someone or talk to someone and i was like "why??" and then i sort of realized that the thought of me being with someone just disgusted me in a way that if something like that crosses my mind for no good reason, i visibly cringe. like no.
and as an aroace who isnt out to their family, i am genuinely scared of when and if they'll start saying things like "you'll find someone eventually" when i dont get a partner by the time im in like, college because i know my anxiety aint letting me come out before then. and like, i do not want to have deal with shit like that. it will only make me feel more pressured to come out to them as aroace, and i feel like they have acknowledged (mostly my sister) LGBTQ+ sexualities and saying that they don't really gaf who i get with or marry or something, but they havent really acknowledged the fact that, maybe i dont want to be with someone, and i genuinely feel that they will just be disappointed if decide i dont want anyone. now, i feel like that would be mostly on my mom's part because she has been with so many people and been in so many failed relationships that i feel like she'll just be disappointed that she doesnt see me in a successful relationship. i don't think my sister will really care as much, she'd just be like "hell yeah, don't need someone else to be happy ehehehe."
and like i just dont get it. i dont get why the social norm is to date or marry or even just crush on someone. i dont get the reason and i dont get how people "fall in love" or get the urge to talk to someone attractive. i dont think that aros or aces get a lot of good rep either, and i dont understand why. just because they may not be interested in anyone romantically or intimately doesnt mean they dont have feelings or cant love. i love my family (mostly😐) and my friends, just platonically.
thanks for reading my rant

9 QTPoC books for your 2023 Pride Month TBR
Happy Pride Month! Every year, I do a little round-up of YA books starring LGBTQ and BIPOC characters that have come out so far this year. This year was particularly exciting -- there were so many books that I loved or have at the very top of my TBR! So, without further ado, here's 9 of them for your TBR!
The Wicked Bargain by Gabe Cole Novoa El Diablo is in the details in this Latinx pirate fantasy starring a transmasculine nonbinary teen with a mission of revenge, redemption, and revolution.
On Mar León-de la Rosa's 16th birthday, el Diablo comes calling. Mar is a transmasculine nonbinary teen pirate hiding a magical ability to manipulate fire and ice. But their magic isn't enough to reverse a wicked bargain made by their father and now el Diablo has come to collect his payment: the soul of Mar's father and the entire crew of their ship. When Mar is miraculously rescued by the sole remaining pirate crew in the Caribbean, el Diablo returns to give them a choice: give up your soul to save your father by the Harvest Moon or never see him again. The task is impossible--Mar refuses to make a bargain and there's no way their magic is any match for el Diablo. Then, Mar finds the most unlikely allies: Bas, an infuriatingly arrogant and handsome pirate -- and the captain's son; and Dami, a genderfluid demonio whose motives are never quite clear. For the first time in their life, Mar may have the courage to use their magic. It could be their only redemption -- or it could mean certain death.

Finding home. Falling in love. Fighting to belong. The Santos Vista neighborhood of San Antonio, Texas, is all Ander Martínez has ever known. The smell of pan dulce. The mixture of Spanish and English filling the streets. And, especially their job at their family's taquería. It's the place that has inspired Ander as a muralist, and, as they get ready to leave for art school, it's all of these things that give them hesitancy. That give them the thought, are they ready to leave it all behind?
To keep Ander from becoming complacent during their gap year, their family "fires" them so they can transition from restaurant life to focusing on their murals and prepare for college. That is, until they meet Santiago López Alvarado, the hot new waiter. Falling for each other becomes as natural as breathing. Through Santi's eyes, Ander starts to understand who they are and want to be as an artist, and Ander becomes Santi's first steps toward making Santos Vista and the United States feel like home. Anon claiming Jimin's friends are 'straight' which means he is & gonna have a GF, when if you knew shit about Jimin would know for years his inner circle is full of LGBTQ supporters & some even rumored to be part of the community as well. Maybe do research. But let's talk about members inner circles, starting with Wooga, since this fandom loves to hype them. The straightest squad who are ALL dating women confirmed right now, who happen to be Tae's closest friends. Even had blinks mad when Tae's gf Jennie & Tae's Wooga friend were on the red carpet together teasing each other cause they're buddies & both part of the same inner circle & wanted her away from him cause of their misogynistic reputation. So does this mean you feel that way about Tae, based on his friends? See how silly that is anon. JK was around Tae's straight inner circle & he seems to be in love with Jimin, a man & goes the other way (his words). So now what? Is he gonna be influenced by their straightness & straight relationships? Hobi was around them & they were at his party & Jimin's been around them too & they mention Jimin too. So with their reputation, do you feel less about, Tae, Hobi, Jimin & JK? Tae claims Jimin is his one and only best friend. Right? He seems pretty dead serious about it for years now & even introduced Jimin as his best friend still, even recently at his Vicnic. So does this mean Jimin, who has put it out there for years, he's queer, is suddenly gonna date women cause his best friend Tae is? Ridiculous mindset you have anon.
All members in BTS have all been around inner circles that consists of straight people & not so nice people. So do you think the same about them being influenced or is it just Jimin? Since y'all desperately try to shutdown him being queer. Jimin's close inner circle is more gay friendly then I can say for some. And also Jimin isn't friends with everyone he knows. Because that person is dating his producer doesn't make her his friend. Jimin has working relationships with people & some straight friends & most likely has queer friends, just because they aren't out, doesn't mean they don't exist. Look at him and Jk, always together for years & how their inner circles always been intertwining for years & how there's more proof leaning toward them two being queer, then being straight up straight. Now what? You sound very dumb & immature right now with assumptions based on inner circles, while ignoring everything Jimin has put out there about himself, because his producer is straight. Stop judging based on inner circles and leave ALL these men & their friends ALONE.
Like far away, till they drop off the face of earth is what they need to be doing 💯

Rick purposefully made the hunters of Artemis to be ace/aro in his universe. I know the actual mythology may be different but we’re not talking about the actual mythology here. We’re talking about Rick’s own little universe that is just inspired by the mythology. And Rick made the hunters to be ace/aro in his universe. And you trying to say that’s not true is not only factually incorrect but also you trying to erase ace/aro representation. Please don’t do that. Please just let those of us under the ace/aro umbrella have this one thing in the Riordanverse that is filled with plenty of alo relationships both straight and lgbtq+.
And im not saying that you can’t criticize Rick, you can do that all you want. His series is flawed in many ways and you have every right to call out those flaws Rick made. That being said. A lot of us found comfort in the hunters of Artemis being ace/aro and seeing someone who are like us someone who is not interested in romance in a world that is full of almost nothing but romance.
aro ace people are welcome to find comfort in the hunters of artemis! i never said that wasn’t allowed. what i am saying is:
- separatism and gatekeeping within the LGBTQA community will not keep anyone safe and actually denies safe spaces to people who need them. real lesbians seeing themselves in the hunters of artemis does not detract from aro/ace people’s ability to see themselves in the hunters of artemis. This isn’t some zero-sum game. there is literally no reason that lesbians have to be excluded for aro/ace representation to mean something. A lesbian wishing she could be in the hunters of artemis without having to repress her marginalized identity does NOT mean that aro/ace people can’t take comfort in the hunters of artemis and the aro/ace representation of characters like reyna.
- being aro/ace is not the same thing as taking a vow of celibacy under the threat of losing your community. it is not the same thing. it is not the same thing. being gay but not being allowed to act on your gay love is not the same thing as being aro/ace. i literally cant emphasize this enough. Riordan insinuating that it is the same thing demonstrates his ignorance of what being aro/ace means.
- not only are the hunters celibate by requirement, and not naturally aro/ace, but they are frequently shown looking down on the concept of romance and condescending to people who engage in dating and sex. this is not positive aro/ace representation because one of the most insidious, vicious negative stereotypes of aro/ace people is that they think they’re better than everyone else and that their sexual orientation is implicit condemnation of all other orientations. this is not true of real aro/ace people and is a major misconception that leads to discrediting of aro/ace identities. being in the hunters of artemis in riordan’s universe apparently IS an implicit condemnation of anyone who participates in romance or sex. it does a disservice to aro/ace people to draw a 1:1 correlation between the hunters and being aro/ace.
