taking a break from cleaning because i need to 1) pace myself and 2) spread this out over 2 days so that it doesn't get a chance to get too dirty again before i gotta do final tidying and pickup before the chaos ensues, but i've gotten a surprising amount done for like 20 minutes of clean and 10 minutes of Silly Shit.
#the whiteboard to-do list has been a game changer for me in general#like i don't often have a lot of stuff to put on it#but when i do it's really good at keeping me on track/focused#without being too overwhelming to look at#(or while it might be overwhelming as soon as you knock something off if the list looks too cluttered you can just erase it)#(and then bam less shit on your list both physically and mentally)#my productivity hack is 1) erasable to-do list and 2) find a 15-20 minute video to pop on and work to#you don't gotta pay attention to it but finding something you enjoy listening to is a key#i don't wear headphones while working because i don't have wireless ones and i rarely wear pockets indoors because fuck that noise#so i just pop my phone in a central location to where i'm currently working and let her go#if i have to leave the room i can hear it going and i know i gotta go back for it when i'm done#you just work for the length of the video and assess where you're at when you're done#if you did extra stuff that wasn't on your to-do list#write them down and cross them off - or just pretend you've already wiped them off the list because you did them#and since it's not on your list *now* you don't have to worry about it#i used to work almost exclusively to markiplier's prop hunt playlist but i've expanded for shorter bursts#because that's what i put on if i think it's going to take all day (and then i get about 45 minutes in and go alright i finished)#anyway ymmv if you even got this far or were thinking about taking my advice#i'm just telling you what works for me#and of course it's really mostly onlyhelpful if i've already got the spoons for doing shit that day in the first place lmao#speaking of which i did figure out where the extra spoons came from earlier this week#bad news boys: it was the hormone cycle and now i'm bleedin' out me vag again#okay real sorry if you got this far on the tags thank god this is my own post lmao

NSFW Steven Headcanons
Tumblr media
₊˚⊹♡ ∘₊ ───────────── ₊˚⊹♡ ∘₊ ─────────────── ₊˚⊹♡ ∘₊
warnings ✩° : smut NSFW headcanons, cursing, mentions of porn, mentions of fingering, mentions of hickeys.
pairing ✩° : steven conklin x fem!reader
authors note ✩° : thoughts...thoughts? no thoughts rn...
────────────────────────────────────────────
If there's one thing Steven will never fail at doing with you, it has to be teasing you. It gets worse when you two are alone and doing vaguely sexual activities, because he just gets so antsy and 10x worse in toying with you.
Multiple 'oh yeah?'s and 'oh really?'s, numerous, 'uh huh's and 'no go on's. Sometimes it pisses you off, but you know he's just joking, so it's all in good fun.
Steven is so dirty minded and jokes about perverted things, but when it actually comes down to doing them? He's got his tail tucked between his legs. It's not that he wouldn't do all the things he told you he'd do over text, it's just that to him, that's all they were : texts. Now, he's actually gotta do them, and he's nervous.
When his nervousness ends and after he's talked your ear off with some nonsense while kissing you, that's when things get serious and he feels confident.
Steven's favorite place to kiss you is between your boobs, or on your chest really. When he's going down on you and coming back up to kiss you after you finish, he plants kisses all up your stomach and stops at your chest to place multiple hickeys on your skin.
Steven finds pleasure in getting marked, and since he takes his shirt off a lot...and people see them...it just makes him really happy.
Can't decide if he's an ass man or a tits guy...Steven will slap, smack, or grab your ass passing by, but he loves looking at your tits SO much. Why make him choose?
Really good with his fingers.
Steven really likes experimenting, but he usually brings up these ideas right in the moment, asking, "Hey do you wanna try something I saw on TikTok?" which can kill the mood sometimes. Most of the time you don't care and just let him try it and it ends up being really good.
He enjoys sex, as anyone would, but what really makes him satisfied is knowing you're enjoying it too. He loves pleasing you and making you feel like you're taken of first. He doesn't do quick fucks and definitely hates hookup culture, but that doesn't really matter because you're his girlfriend anyways.
Steven exclusively fucks you at night, or when it's dark and when no one is in the house or in the dorm. He just likes his privacy. He likes the blinds shut and lights off, with some LED lights on or a lamp so he can see you better.
Additionally to all that, Steven has a sex playlist that's named 'getting freaky' with the water droplets emoji, the tongue emoji, and the purple devil grinning emoji. When she showed you and saw your face of disgust, he screamed jokingly that it was purely ironic and just to listen to it, while shoving his phone in your face as you're choking on laughter.
Said playlist includes songs by Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, and Chase Atlantic mostly, but there are some stragglers from other artists. It's all just banger after banger (giggles).
During heavy make out sessions or sex, Steven plays the freak playlist, which is good background noise, but for the most part you don't even pay attention to it. Strangely, when you hear certain songs playing outside of that playlist, you're instantly reminded of Steven and get turned on knowing what he did to you during those lyrics.
Something he does to that playlist is actually following the rhythm and beat to some songs when he kisses you or is rubbing up and down your legs.
Steven, of course, isn't the most serious during sex. He teases you a lot, hums the lyrics or belts out into song, and makes you laugh too much to have super serious sex. Slipping up and messing up is something he does so dorkily that you can't even be bothered wanting serious sex, you like him just the way he is. Sometimes if he tries to be dead serious, you get a little unnerved.
Watching porn together is something you both do when you're not horny in the slightest. Your head will be resting on his chest and he'll be rubbing your back with his laptop open just watching the most intense porn clip with straight faces. Steven will break the silence asking if you want to try it, only for you to smack his chest.
After sex, he loves seeing you wear his clothes. His boxers and sweaters mostly.
After care consists of hugging him from behind as he leans on the counter dialing a pizza place, eating said pizza with a movie on, and cuddling for the rest of the night.

In all honesty, idk what happened with the fandom recently for it to suddenly shit out a ton of crappy takes in ATLA most especially for Zutara. I often find myself defending Zutara because a lot of its antis say the most racist and sexist stuff against it. I'm not even a Zutara fan! I'm a rareshipper.
Can't just antis simply say they don't like Zutara and move on to enjoying their own ships instead? No more stupid holier art thou morality takes that just backfire on their faces.
If they want discourse, then use canon material NOT HEADCANONS, FANONS, OR FANFICS as "evidence" to back up their takes. Antis that do that makes my head spin in exasperation. Then you point that out they start whining how you hurt their feelibgs and get all offended as a "minority".
Actually, let's focus on that last bit. It's pretty rancid too how sometimes they pretend to be part of the "minority" so they can use it as a shield for themselves when their bad behavior gets called out. In fact, this tactic hurts the actual minorities who have valid concerns about Zutara. They get drowned out by all the insanity toxic shippers say and get lumped in with them.
Well, with the new live-action coming, there has obviously, been a revival, making the fandom way much more active. Which leads to people having more time to pay attention to the show and all its intricacies.
This is where ship wars come into play. And in all honesty, atla’s ship wars have definitely left a legacy in a way I don’t think we’ll have to ever witness. With the creators perpetuous jabs at zutara solidifying antis need to hate on it and the fans, fuelling the whole thing to another level. To this day whenever something avatar related gets announced or released you start to see a revival of a not so dead ship war. And while they (probably, not sure) aren’t as brutal as they used to be, they have took another turn, with this faux-progressivism being used to fear monger zutara shippers as well as casual listeners about the ship’s legitimacy. I recommend @i-d-e-g-a-f ‘s post about it to get more insight.
On my part, if I were to pin point the moment where this faux- progressivism started taking space in a lot of anti-zutara takes, I’d say that the atla renaissance isn’t innocent for this phenomenon happening. You need to understand the context in which atla’s release on Netflix took place in. One where the blm movement took the entire world by storm. Resulting in people not having the reservations they’ve probably had in the past when it came to talking about racial issues. This was followed by the emergence of numerous movements involving similar cases (not identical, tho). As well as media and the people consuming said media being ready to offer commentary on and call out harmful depictions of racial minorities as well as the rethorics they carried.
Suddenly, anyone and everyone could offer their piece of mind on harm being caused to racial minorities. And while good, it also came with its downside.
When you take into account this context, I think it exacerbated the already existing phenomenon of people saying things in order to put on this front of being good and virtuous, yet failing or simply not wanting to realize how these things are perpetuating the very harm they claim they want to undo. You know, people perceiving and claiming zutara to be a colonized-colonizer ship. As well as comparing katara to Pocahontas, when talking about these two. Which, if these people actually cared about progress, they would know how incredibly racist and sexist it is to make that comparison.
When it comes to antis obsession with hating on zutara, I think it stems from a certain insecurity. You gotta understand that unlike any other non-canon ship, zutara could’ve legitimately been canon. It was constantly talked about in the writers room, many of the team members seriously considering it (head writers, voice actors etc..) Hence why, the creators felt the need to throw numerous jabs (ie. the ember island play, (2008) comic-con) at the ship and more specifically, its fans. Since they themselves were insecure. @burst-of-iridescent perfectly explains it in this post.

ᴡᴏʀᴅ ᴄᴏᴜɴᴛ: 628 ~ original
ᴡᴀʀɴɪɴɢꜱ: getting things wrong, feelings of embarrassment
Tumblr media
☾⋆☆⋆☽
"Hey, La'ok." You tuck a hair behind your ear, "Sorry I couldn't hear you the other day."
"It's nothing." Lo'ak shakes his head, "I was actually being rude. I didn't know you had–wait a minute."
"What?"
"Did you just call me La'ok?"
Your purse your lips, genuinely confused. "...is that not your name?"
Lo'ak's eyebrows raise. He closes his eyes as he registers the situation. La'ot. You thought his name was Lo'at. He laughs into his hands, shaking his head. It's a laugh of disbelief, self-deprecating in a way. "La'ok!"
"What's your name?"
"Lo'ak." He exaggerates the enunciation.
You read his lips, "Lo..." His face rises with hope. "..at?"
"What?" His head jerks dramatically, "No, no, Lo'ak."
"Lo'at." You repeat again, not catching the way his tongue remained neutral at the bottom of his mouth.
"It's Lo'ak. Not T, K." He corrects.
"Lo'ak." You nod, pursing your lips, "Okay. I uh, think I've gotta go."
"Do you?" He asks. He hadn't heard your name being called, and if it was you probably wouldn't either. He also didn't think you were really someone with many tasks in the clan.
"Yep." You say, your voice akin to a meep.
Before he gets a chance to respond, you run towards the water with a hurry and dive in. Fyìp finds its way towards you immediately.
Fyìp! You sign with the equivalence to a whine, That was so embarrasssing!!
☾⋆☆⋆☽
Neteyam finds you as you're coming back home for dinner early. You're tapping the water from your ears when he approaches.
"Hey." You greet, noticing him.
"Hey." Neteyam mirrors. His face displays an enthusiastic grin. "How was the ocean today?" He signs as he speaks.
You pay attention more to his signing, as he was noticeably putting much effort into it. You read his signs out loud, "How was.. the fish, yesterday? I thought it was pretty good."
"No, um.." He doesn't let the failure get to him. Instead, he shakes his head and tries again.
"How was the... algae, today?" You blow a raspberry as you think, "Little slimy, green, just like always?"
Neteyam restarts, thinking the signs over in his head again. He was on the right track: ocean, fish, algae, all things related to water. He just needed to get the sign right, he'd already gotten the "today" part. "Okay." He tries again.
"Nete..." You frown, "I don't know what you're trying to say."
"Alright, maybe I'll try something else." Neteyam sighs. He rethinks it all again. "Alright. Do you like ilu?"
"Do I enjoy swimming?" You nod, "Of course I do, but less than resting underwater."
"No, that wasn't it." He shakes his head, letting out a small groan. He rubs his hands together, warming them up to ready himself.
"Do I... excited, dive?" You frown, "I don't think I'm reading those correctly."
He sighs. Seeing how far he was from what he wanted to say, he puts his head in his hands. "I'm not doing well..." He whines into them.
You take his hands in yours and pull them away from his face, primarily so that you may actually read his lips and or listen to him, but you know the message the gesture conveys anyway. "Don't worry. You're still learning."
"Well, I won't–"
"No more self-deprecating thoughts." You interrupt him, squeezing his hands. "You'll get better eventually. I promise you'll get better with time."
Neteyam huffs, but he nods. "I don't know how you'll fulfill that promise though."
"Fpivìl..." You say as you think. When you find an idea, you snap your fingers. "I'll teach you better, I'll be more proactive at thinking of lessons. Are you a visual or auditory learner?"
"What?"
"We'll figure that out too."
Neteyam had to say, your enthusiasm was contagious.

Heyy wanted to ask if you could write a story where miles nd the reader had a huge fight nd he later finds out that she is his Canon event
How the story ends is up to you 🤷🏾‍♀️
Inevitable ༄ ‧₊˚
Tumblr media
⚘ 1610!Miles Morales x black!fem!reader
⚘ angst! arguing, sad ending, death
⚘ wc: 1.3k
⚘ Thank you for the request! I rarely ever write angst so this took me a long while TT, but I don't hate how it turned out, hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media
Canon events were considered inevitable. Something that has to happen to shape who you are. It’s hard to avoid, even when you try to push everyone away, but it has to happen.
You and Miles met at the spider society and hit it off right away, inseparable. There was nothing you didn’t tell each other and nothing you didn’t do without the other, no secrets. You two had promised each other that not long after you’d started dating, no secrets.
“I gotta get back to my earth, dinner plans,” You announce to the group, standing from your seat.
Everyone waves and Miles grabs your hand, “I’ll see you later, yeah?”
“Yeah,” you nod giving him a hug, and he places a kiss to your temple.
Walking down the hall to go home, you hear faint voices. Normally you wouldn’t eavesdrop but you had this gnawing feeling it had to do with you.
You creep behind a wall and listen. You hear Jess’s voice, “You have to tell them, Miguel. You know you do. If not the both of them, at least tell Y/n.”
“What difference would it make? You know if they knew they would try to fix it. There’s already a huge spike in anomalies we can’t afford to make more.” He rests his hands on his hips looking at the floor as he thinks.
What did anomalies have to do with you? What needed fixing? You knew it’d be best to go now but you had to know who they were talking about. Unfortunately, while you were thinking and not paying attention the pair had turned the corner spotting you.
“Did you hear what we were discussing?” Miguel asks, hoping you’d say no. Hoping he didn’t have to tell you something out of your control.
“Yeah… I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to.” You say looking down a bit.
“It’s fine, sweetie. But there’s something you should know.” Jessica says before looking at Miguel.
“We’re not sure when, but you…” he sighs unsure how to phrase it, “Miles is going to have his canon event, soon.”
“His dad?”
“No… you.”
You feel your heart drop and your breath quicken, “what?”
“You’re his canon event, Y/n.”
“Are you saying that- that I’m…”
“Yes.” Jess knew what you were going to ask, and she hated that she was the one to confirm it.
You walk away, there was nothing more to say. As far as you knew it was set in stone. You didn’t want to break a promise but you don’t think you could bring yourself to tell Miles. This one could be broken.
The day after, everything felt like a daze. Each time Miles touched your hand or kissed your cheek you knew that it could be the last time. The thought of that made you sick, and every time it crosses your mind your eyes glossed over.
Deep down you knew there was nothing you could do but that doesn’t mean you couldn’t try. Though, the only way you knew how, was to distance yourself. If you were never with him, maybe I’d hurt less. Maybe it wouldn’t happen at all.
Miles wanted to know what was going on. Why every time he said your name or cradled your face that day you’d blink back tears and look the other way. Why you were keeping a secret. Why you were breaking a promise. Why you were now completely avoiding him altogether.
“Hey, Y/n, where you going?” Miles asked softly. He felt like he was walking on eggshells, one wrong move and you’d walk away again.
“Anomaly,” you say curtly continuing towards the portal. You knew Miles and you knew he was blaming himself for this. You wanted to hold him close and tell him that you were sorry and it’s not his fault and it never could be. But you didn’t.
“Let me come with you,” he suggests with pleading eyes.
You look away, “It’s fine. I can handle it.”
“Why are you doing this?”
“I’m not doing anything, Miles,” you say firmly.
“Y/n, I can see you’re avoiding me. You’ve *been* avoiding me. And I don’t know why!” he throws his arms out, “did I do something?”
“No, you didn’t…” you almost whisper, eyes glued to the floor as they begin to water, “You didn’t do anything.” you finally repeat louder.
You were torn because if you were going to tell him now was the time. However, if you weren’t, well then, you’ll probably just end up hurting him further.
“Then, why are you avoiding me?” He asks again.
“I’m not avoiding you! I’ve just been... busy. I’ve been busy.” Lies, and he knew that.
“Y/n…” he sighs defeated. He steps forward, and you take a step back in response.
“I need to take of this anomaly.” you wiped away an escaping tear and walk through the portal.
Fighting while emotional is never a good idea. Your mind was in a different place and now here you are fighting a stronger anomaly than you anticipated. And you were losing, bad. At first, you had it under control but then your mind started to wander to Miles and at that moment you should’ve called for backup, but you were too stubborn for that. You could barely think before getting tossed and hit again, taking more hits than you could handle.
Feeling the wind get knocked out of you as you hit a pile of rubble on the ground. “Can I get some backup, please?” you gasp into your watch. You had too much adrenaline to feel any pain but in the back of your mind, you knew that probably did a lot of damage.
Catching your breath again you sling a web to the nearest object to help you stand. Before you can fully gain your balance back, you see a portal open with a few spider people and Miles appears.
An alert appears on your watch. You already knew what it was going to say, but you look down nonetheless.
Canon event incoming.
You swing into the nearest alley. Maybe if you left and didn’t participate in the fight the canon event wouldn’t happen. Every bone in your body slowly began to ache, and you sat down leaning your head back onto the red brick walk. Yanking your mask off you catch your breath. It even hurt to breathe
You glance at your watch expecting to see the canon even was disrupted, but there was nothing. Huh? You didn’t understand, you weren’t fighting anymore.
You didn’t have time to figure out what was going on before you hear the villain go down and Miles start to look for you. You wanted to call out and say you were in the alley but you suddenly couldn’t find the strength. Your body ached and your eyelids felt heavy.
Miles swung into the alley finally finding you and pulls you close to him. “Y/n! Y/n, are you okay?!”
“Y-yeah.” You choked out. The adrenaline must’ve been wearing off, your body hurts more and more. Searing pain shot through your body. You could hardly breathe and were too scared to look down, at your stomach. Where you could feel warm liquid spread through your suit.
“I thought I stopped it…” pointless. All you did in hopes of a better outcome was pointless.
“Stopped what?” Your vision blurred but you could still feel Miles’s tears drop onto your face, mixing with yours. When did you start crying?
“The canon event… I thought I…” You really didn’t know what else you expected. No matter how much false hope you filled yourself with, that Miles wouldn’t have to witness this or that you wouldn’t even have to die at all. You knew there was nothing you could do.
“Y/n, please,” he cries, “don’t do this.”
“I’m sorry for everything, Miles. I really am. For avoiding and lying to you, for even keeping this a secret in the first place.” you could feel yourself using the last of your strength the get these words out. Your breathing was shallow and labored and you felt tired, really tired. “I love you… and keep fighting for good, okay?”
All he could do was nod, sobs making it out before words could. He watched your eyes close and chest rise but never go back down.

Triumvirate Prompts: Day 6
Tumblr media
(Prompts Link)
#6. Favorite romantic duo?
Well, this one's easy.
Tumblr media
I was really close to using McKirk for this one since not counting AOS, is so underrated and unrecognized by the fandom, it hurts. But I gotta be honest with myself here... and it's Spones. Mainly TOS Spones, I like AOS Spones too but TOS is the main one for me. When I started TOS back in January 2021, I was almost positive that I was going to get into Sprik just because everyone talked about how they were soulmates and t'hy'la and all that. But then McCoy became my favorite character and I began paying more attention to his relationships and of all of then, Spones was the one that stood out for me.
I sometimes have a very frosty relationship with the 'opposites attract' trope. When it's done wrong, it can be messy, and I just ask myself 'why do these people who clearly argue all the time even want to be together'. But Spones? It gets it right. They bicker. They have different views and beliefs. Neither one will shy away from speaking it either, to the point that I swear they do it just to get a rise out of the other. McCoy can be an asshole to Spock and his Vulcan mindset, while Spock can be a condescending asshole to McCoy and his intellect/occupation. It can be so easy for someone who doesn't know better to look at them and, as the one guy in Bread and Circuses did, wonder if they're enemies more than friends.
But that's the thing. They are so, SO much more than that. Do they argue? Yes. Can it escalate from bickering to more heated? Sure, it's bound to happen every so often. Can they be disrespectful of one another when pushed? Absolutely. But I never felt like one was bullying the other or went over the line. They both push. They both shove. They are both willing to engage in their back and forth, and I think they honestly enjoy it. They like having that opposite yet equal person to debate with. They know of the intelligence and capabilities of the other and do respect and recognize that. It's not always obvious, but it's there.
But most of all, they are friends. If you insult one of them, the other will stand up for them. If you hurt one of them, the other will defend them. If something is wrong with one of them then, even if it's indirectly, the other will go to any length to care for them. They suck at communicating most of the time, but their affection for one another is so clear, especially as you watch the series and the films and see how it evolves.
I was starting to ship them the more I continued the first watch of TOS, but I was kind of afraid to commit to it. Mainly due to some recent experiences with other stuff that made me reluctant to get majorly involved in fandom again. I also knew how some felt about their relationship and that made me worried about shipping, something that may be problematic...
Then All Our Yesterdays happened.
Tumblr media
Yes, I know how freakin' weird it is that of all the episodes, this was the one that convinced me to give in to the ship. But... I don't know. After watching all the other episodes, to see Spock refusing to leave McCoy, how that care for him still comes through despite his mental state slowly unraveling, the extent McCoy went and risking his own neck (literally) just to get Spock to listen to reason. And, of course, how the only way for them to be able to go home is if they go together, or not at all. Like... how does it get any heavier than that? Seeing that and the theme of Spock and McCoy needing to be together and add that to when I got to the movies where Spock entrusts McCoy with his freakin' soul and... yeah. There was no turning back after all of that. I searched out just about every bit of Spones content I could find, and thus here we are.
By all accounts, I should have been turned away from this pairing. But I wasn't. I love their bickering. I love their growing friendship. I love the mutual trust that they have. I love their devotion to Jim. I love how for all their complaining, they will always have the other's back. I love how they can push each other in a way that no one else can, yet also pull each other back. They mean so much to each other and whenever I read them getting together in fanworks, them finally allowing themselves to be honest with themselves and finally allow each other in, it's beautiful. Their intimacy with one another is just... gosh it just always makes me smile~
So yeah, what else is there to say? Spones is an amazing ship and I absolutely love it. I'll probably blab more on this blog later, as I have been for the past 2+ years now. And I have no plans of slowing down~!

don't be magnetic, be AUTHENTIC
have you ever met or found someone that seems to draw people in, even when they do nothing? or maybe you have met someone that radiates sparkly aura, that caught you in awe and you just think.. "wow this person is really charming"
Won't it be nice if we could be like one of those magnetic and charming peeps? YEP, that's definitely possible!!
think of someone with magnetic personality, you'd find them charismatic and charming. they're interesting, exciting, and engaging. someone that draws people in and make them comfortable.
ok, how do we create magnetic energy?
★ Energy
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Energy/aura is EVERYTHING. what you need to know tho, aura is the projection of our inner state, it's the extension of what's going on inside. sure, you might use those "manipulation tricks" on tiktok, but be aware because that's what you will get as well. if you act in toxic way (to get people to like you, play with their head etc), you will just attract another toxic or low vibe people.
So, if aura is the projection of our inner state, and we wanna be magnetic, of course we gotta take care of ourselves. take care of your mental health, forgive people, know yourself, take care of your body, eat well, and do thing that you LOVE, that makes you EXCITED to wake up in the morning. enjoy where you are, be in peace with yourself. this will projects in the world, and people can feel it ^^
Tumblr media
★ Magnetic
We don't wanna know attract ALL attention, we want to attract the RIGHT attention.
"liked by anyone, loved by no one". In fact, the goal to be magnetic is not by getting everyone to like you, but be comfortable in yourself. if we think about it, a real magnet actually polarizing. only the matching pair, right? if it tries to attract everything, it won't be as strong as the magnet that attracts the matching pairs. and how do we do this? yep, being AUTHENTIC.
guess what, people can sense when someone have unauthentic energy, and of course it might make them feel uneasy. Ironically, the MORE you try to be magnetic, usually the LESS magnetic you become. it's giving "i wanna be liked by everyone" energy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Think of creating the BEST energy to yourself. be confident in what we are, and living from the place of AUTHENTICITY and LOVE.
★ Presence
Let people feel good in YOUR presence
This time, be GENUINE. charismatic people could make you feel like you're the only person in the room, that's how charming they are. so, talk to people with genuine interest and care. take the effort to be truly engaged in what they’re saying, rather than thinking about what to say next, or interrupting. some things you could pay attention to :
Be Attentive and Caring. fully listen and genuinely care about others. remember details, call their name and understand what they're saying. listen closely to what they're saying. also, you know to not get distracted with other things when you talk to someone right.
Eye Contact. maintain eye contact, it shows that we're interested and care.
Body Gesture. take up space, make yourself physically bigger, use expressive hand movements, hold yourself tall.
Facial Expression. oh don't we love a beautiful smile on someone's face. it just brighten up the mood, right? you could nod at all the right moments to show that you're engaged. what about on stressful situation? let's chill out and maintain calm expression to show that you're positive and in control! ^^
Be Interesting. Tell something as story, we could use some metaphors, and anecdotes. Be creative with the words we use. Express ourselves freely, it makes us look more human, memorable, and interesting!
Animated Tone of Voice
Communicate Confidence, Be POSITIVE! charismatic people are inspiring, and confident. so, communicate with passion and energy. be passionate with life too, you just have one life anyways, so enjoy it!
Be Curious.
Be Kind. treat people with such tenderness of heart, lend help to ones in need, hold/mention people name with respect, no trash-talking of course, we all know it's not cool to make fun of others.
Intention. make sure to set a clear intentions before you have a conversation, it helps you to stay grounded on the value you hold, and respect yourself as well as you respect others ^^
Be Thoughtful. try to be more active in a relationship, with your family, friends, and loved ones. reach out, give them a call, hit them up on socials to check up on them, invite them. what's the worst could happen anyways. trust me, they will appreciate it!
Familiarity builds Comfort. if you know the topic being discussed, share some personal experiences as well. you can also try to relate emotionally, identify the motivation on why they do what they do, what got them into it, and how it makes them feel.
It's not complicated, and definitely achievable. The takeaway is : create the best inner state, take care of yourself, and truly confident and be at peace with yourself. having a magnetic personality isn't just about being charming and charismatic. It's mostly about being authentic and genuine. magnetic personalities are comfortable in their own skin, and they don't try to be someone that they're not. they are confident and unafraid to be themselves, which is why people are drawn to them. Loud House Moon Goats Christmas Vacation
Tumblr media
After nearly a full month of performing, the Moon Goats are ready to enjoy their Christmas Vacation. Gig after gig, they outdid themselves with awesome Christmas songs they'd written the previous month. It was the time of giving people a new experience in the season of giving, not to mention a rockin 'holiday experience.
At seven am on Christmas Eve, Luna and her band, the Moon Goats arrived at the Royal Woods Mall. They promised Luan, her friends Ruby and Shannon from the Theatre Club, and Leni to help out on Christmas errands at the last minute. Leni took Lily with her to babysit on Christmas Eve with the whole Loud Family making the decision to celebrate Christmas in their own separate ways.
"So your dad was crying all night because this is your first time spending Christmas without your family?" Mazzy asked.
"Yes, you have no idea how many years he wants us to celebrate the holiday." Luna answered.
"But you do realize we haven't come up with an idea of what we can do during Christmas, right?" Sully added.
"Hey, it's not our fault our dad told us to reschedule until our mom gave us the opportunity a couple days ago." Luan said.
"I had to give up on the best Christmas outfit, because our Dad constantly wants me to drop it all because it was getting old." Leni groaned. "I just wanted to be in the Christmas spirit."
"Jeez, talking about sticking to the family tradition forever." Ruby added.
"We don't hate it, we just wanted to do something different for a change." Luna replied. "Though still, I really wanted to do something great with Sam since we couldn't go ice skating with all the skates sold out."
As the group headed their way to the food court, Luna saw Sam sitting alone, waiting. The sad part is despite the gigs she did with the band, she just told her family last night about her skipping family tradition which she's lucky they accepted, as long as she's being honest.
"Hey Sam." Luna walked up to her girlfriend.
"Hi Luna." She responded as Luna sat down. "So...any plans for us?"
"Sorry, but still nothing. To tell you the truth, it has been a busy month outside of our gigs."
"We really wanted to make this special for all of us but then again...this is our first Christmas together." Mazzy added.
"Well you can't expect to have a proper first Christmas for a band like us." Sam replied.
"So are we just gonna spend time in the mall?" Shannon wondered.
"No." Luna replied. "I gotta help Luan and Leni with their Christmas errands soon. And then maybe we can have lunch here."
"I had to work overtime at the Theatre club, so I didn't have time to buy Benny a Christmas present." Luan filling in.
"Were you planning to spend time with him?" Ruby added.
"I would if we had tickets to see a Broadway play of A Christmas Carol, but we don't."
"I gave Gavin his Christmas gift, but he headed down south to celebrate Christmas with his family so, babysitting Lily is all I got." Leni lifted Lily up.
"Lily wants a great Christmas!" Lily shouted.
Soon, Nina and Joey arrived at the food court, seeing the Moon Goats from a distance. "Hey Moon Goats!" She called their attention.
"Nina! Joey!" Sully smiled.
"It's great to see you two." Mazzy added.
"Well after she helped me with the tuba audition from the Christmas parade last week, I decided to help her pay for the Christmas Snickerdoodles." Joey replied.
"I'm in a snickerdoodle mood this year." Nina replied.
"That's nice." Sam smiled. "But we're trying to find our mood, since we have no plans for Christmas."
"We're not doing our family traditions this year unlike the last few years." Luna filling in. "Do you have any ideas?"
"We can do some Christmas carols." Nina offered.
"That'll take time." Joey said.
"Yeah, we all have been doing so many gigs, we didn't have time to listen to Christmas Carols." Sully replied.
"Don't you guys know you can do other activities during Christmas?" Shannon filling in. "Like sure, the Theatre Club does singing as well, but maybe there are other activities."
"She's right." Luan filling in. "How about when we do our errands, we find someone who could give us some inspiration."
"Yeah, you're right." Luna standing up. "But on Christmas Eve, it has to be a fast one."
Luna, Luan, and Leni left the food court, while the group stayed behind. They headed to the costume store to find Leni not only a costume for herself, but also Lily in her size. After picking a sparkling red and white Santa outfit and an elf costume for Lily, they paid for the two outfits as they headed out of the store.
"Why wouldn't you wanna see Sam in a Santa outfit?" Leni wondered.
"Because she told me I would look better in one." Luna answered. "The last time I wore a Santa outfit was when I was eight."
"Yeah, we remember that when you sang so many Christmas songs." Luan smiled. "Do you have Sam's Christmas gift?"
"Yes but it's in our bedroom. I didn't bring it with me because I was saving it for tomorrow. I know how thrilled she would've been if she found out what it is."
"Did she tell you what she likes?" Leni added.
"No, I picked up on hints during our time together, it's a surprise."
"Ohhh..." Luan, Leni, and Lily responded.
"You two would do the same, don't overdo it."
"Hey, there's nothing wrong with savoring the moment when it happens." Leni smiled.
"Yeah." Lily added.
"Though still, we really need to find someone to get an idea on what we're gonna do today." Luna looking around. She then noticed Lori's friend Carol hanging out with Becky after coming out from the camping store. She made her way to the two while her sisters followed suit. "Carol!"
Carol and Becky turned their attention to Luna but little did the rockstar know, they were planning to leave. "Luna?" Carol replied.
"I know this isn't really the time, but I want to spend Christmas with not only my band, but also Sam. Do you have any ideas?"
"Luna, we're actually on a strict schedule right now." Becky replied. "Nothing personal, but tonight is really gonna be special."
"What, does it have something to do with your families?"
Carol and Becky looked at each other and went back to Luna again. "No." Carol responded. "We're gonna be watching the stars tonight."
Upon hearing their plans, Luna just found the inspiration she needs. "Wait, there's gonna be stars tonight? Like real stars?"
"Yes, we're gonna go to the forest while the stars appear above the frozen lake."
"For the last few days, we've decorated the trees at the location and all that's left is for winter camping supplies." Becky said, showing the supply bag.
"Wait, what do you mean by winter camping?" Luan wondered.
"The stars only appear at midnight." Carol answered. "Once we get to our destination, we're gonna set up our camping tents and sleep out there after watching the stars."
"That's...really awesome!" Luna cheered.
"Shooting stars during Christmas!?" Leni squealed. "How I didn't think of that before!?"
"It's called the Geminid Meteor Shower." Carol answered. "Usually it only appears a few days ago, but after the forecast news earlier this month, midnight could be bigger than that."
Luna couldn't pick a better opportunity for the best Christmas on her own. Even if she didn't experience the Geminid Meteor Shower in her life, she wonders how Sam would react upon the stars from the sky.
"Luna, you need to understand this isn't gonna be easy, not even a bit."
"You see, the weather is getting colder and it's gonna be a long night." Becky added.
"Yeah...I didn't forget the time we got stuck in Burpin' Burger to find the winning wrapper for Lana. The snow was that cold."
"We would've been burping icicles if things got worse." Luan added.
"Well you better get the equipment if you really want to see the stars." Carol replied. "Here's where you need to be." She showed Luna her phone on the destination where she and Becky are heading. Luna immediately took a picture from her phone as she's ready to tell Sam and the others their Christmas plans.
"Is Lori and Bobby gonna be there?" Leni wondered.
"No. I did offer, but they already had plans but luckily, Lori told me she found a way to get two other people to come along."
"They're probably already there right now, they really love the location." Becky added.
"Well, Lori is literally missing out on the best midnight in years." Luna grinned. "I'll do whatever it takes to get there."
"It's not that far away, it's just two miles from the road." Carol added. "I will say, I'm looking forward to seeing Sam. I've heard good things about her." This caused Luna to blush which Carol giggled. "Always the shy girlfriend who smiles especially during Christmas."
"She can't help herself." Leni replied while Lily giggled.
Carol and Becky walked past Luna and her sisters to head out of the mall. Luna took a deep breath, while focusing on her goal. "Okay, I'm gonna go to our band to tell them we're going winter camping tonight to see the stars at midnight!"
"You sure this is gonna work out?" Luan wondered.
"I'm sure, it's a once in a lifetime chance for me and the band. I promise I'll get back to you with the errands." Luna headed straight back to the food court while Leni, Lily and Luan looked at each other.
"I'm sure the stars are gonna be pretty like the New Year's fireworks." Leni commented.
"If Luna's taking her band, I'm taking Ruby, Shannon, and my boyfriend Benny along." Luan smiled. "Though it is sad Gavin isn't here to watch the stars with you."
"Nah, I can send him selfies with the stars behind me. He'll be impressed."
"But I am worried about Sam, I'm sure she'll enjoy the stars if what Carol said is true."
"If she is, should we give Luna a surprise from her girlfriend?"
Leni lidded her eyes while looking at Lily. If everything turns out great in the end, she'll make Luna and Sam's midnight the best Christmas ever. She heads back to the costume store to buy Luna and Sam outfits.
After Luna's band agreed to the plan, they began their shopping rush in the mall for the accessories, especially finishing Luan's errands. Upon leaving, the Moon Goats texted their closest friends to tag along on their journey. With one stop at Luna's place to pick up Sam's Christmas present, they made their way to the forest where Carol and Becky were heading. Chuck took the Moon Goats on the road through the forest. After the snowstorm, every tree in the forest is covered in snow to the point where Carol, Becky and others had to clear a pathway to head to the frozen lake, especially when the snow from the trees constantly fell on the ground.
Chunk parked his van on the edge of the road with the Moon Goats heading out, while taking out their accessories. "We're here." Chunk getting out from the driver's seat. "You sure this is gonna be worth it? It's still close to noon."
"We can do something by the frozen lake." Mazzy smiled.
"Then again, winter camping is like summer camping, but colder." Sully commented.
"It's still worth seeing the stars at midnight." Nina replied.
"It's gonna be awesome mate." Tabby hugging Nina.
Then Leni along with Lily, Luan, Ruby, Shannon, and the Moon Goat's friends parked Vanzilla behind the Moon Goat's van. When they got out, Leni and Luan headed straight to Luna who took out her camping gear.
"We're here!" Leni smiled.
"So this is where we're going?" Luan looked at the cleared pathway.
"It seems like it." Luna replied.
"I have to say, I'm mostly wondering what we're gonna do before midnight." Shannon walked up behind Luan.
"We could go skating, but we don't have ice skates." Sam answered. "Then again, camping in the winter is what's on my mind."
"The only thing we can do is make the best out of it." Benny commented.
"You're right." Joey added.
As Luna and the group head through the open pathway, a broadcast TV truck also parked at the edge of the road, revealing Katherine Mulligan, her niece Adeline in her baby leash and her TV crew. "This could be it." She got out of the truck. "On Christmas morning, it will be the best Christmas report any broadcast has ever seen."
As the TV crew took out the camping and broadcast equipment, they headed in the pathway to reach the frozen lake. The two miles Luna and the group took wasn't as stressful as they thought. Even if they had to carry heavy camping equipment, they made sure to put their full focus on setting up their camping spots. Nina, Tabby, Ruby, and Shannon were way in the back carrying food and drinks.
"Have you ever imagined what it would be like to see the Geminid Meteor Shower, but bigger?" Shannon asked.
"It'll possibly be a once in a lifetime event, if it's true." Ruby commented.
"Hey, once in a lifetime opportunities should always be taken." Nina smiled. "Who knows, we would probably be the only people to see that during midnight."
"Those people who rejected the idea don't know what they're missing." Tabby added. "You have no idea how thrilled I am right now!"
"So am I, and I'm wondering how Luna is gonna handle this with Sam."
In the front of the group, Luna, Sam, Luan, Benny, and Leni are leading the group with much of the camping supplies. With the rest of Luna's friends from behind, Luna knew she would make it as far upon arriving. But with so much time until midnight, she not only needs to keep herself occupied, but also Sam and the others.
"Sam." Luna spoke to her girlfriend's attention.
"Yes?" Sam responded.
"When we set up our tents, what do you think we should do during our spare time?"
"Well when you showed me the map, all there was a frozen lake. There was nothing close to it aside from the tents."
"Maybe we can ask Carol or Becky when we're there." Luan replied.
"They probably went somewhere other than staying by their tents." Benny added.
"The only thing we could do since we can't go skating is hiking, but during the winter with snow?" Leni blinked. "No fashion show would approve of that."
"I still want to make a snowman!" Lily said.
"Don't worry, I promised we would do it today."
"If we find a way to do something exciting, even at the last minute, we can do it together." Luna slightly smiled.
"Okay, no matter what it is, at least we're spending Christmas together." Sam smiled back.
"Yeah, I know."
In a matter of time, they arrive by the frozen lake with the tents set up with tons of open spots. During the summer, nobody swam in the lake with other lakes slightly farther away being bigger but during the winter, the ice is stronger in smaller lakes than the bigger lakes. As the whole group walked past the tents, they saw Carol and Becky right in front of their tent.
"Luna." Carol took notice of her group's arrival.
"We're here." Luna replied.
"Where can we set up our tents?" Mazzy asked.
"Over there." Becky pointed.
"Thanks." Sully walking past.
It took them time to set their tents up along with the supplies and Christmas gifts, but with the help from Carol and Becky, they followed on really easily. With all the tents, each being shared by two people, the rest of Luna's group relaxed while having some drinks.
"So you two sleep with your winter clothes on?" Joey asked to which Carol nodded.
"Sleeping in a winter tent that isn't necessary when a regular tent is more convenient." Becky replied. "But during a snowstorm, there's a reason why winter campsites don't exist."
"Technically we're making one, but we're not running a camping business." Carol added.
"Well, at least we have the right tools to go through the night." Sam spoked.
"Though we're wondering," Luna replied. "Do you two plan to do anything until the Geminid Meteor Shower comes at midnight?"
"Nothing at all." Becky answered.
"We've been focusing on this whole winter camp along with the whole tree decorating, we just want to make sure we don't miss the stars." Carol replied.
Luna felt speechless of the lack of activities Carol and Becky do aside from winter camping. Of course her hearing about how hard setting up camp felt exaggerated. "It's not even one o'clock and we have eleven hours from now until then."
"We weren't sure okay, just because this is all your first time doesn't mean we've done this before."
"Only a few families saw the Geminid Meteor Shower in Royal Woods." Becky said. "Anyone who denies it just prefers normal camping, that's for any season except winter."
"Well, it seems you can do more in normal camping but still, we can at least do something to use up all that spare time." Sam replied. "There should be something we can do that's close to us."
When Carol looked at the map from her phone, Luna and everyone by the frozen lake saw Katherine Mulligan and her TV crew making their way. "Katherine Mulligan?" Luna blinked.
"The Moon Goats." Katherine smiled. "Didn't expect we would meet again after you performed on Kat Chat." As the TV crew moved past them to set up their winter tents, Luan and Leni, who picked up Lily, walked up next to Luna and Sam.
"Looks like the tv broadcast might be capturing the moment." Luan said.
"Correct. And in the morning, we're going back to the TV station and giving families a great Royal Woods Morning News."
"Wow, talk about doing a service for missing Christmas just for an amazing Geminid Meteor Shower experience." Leni commented.
"They already show it on TV, just not the bigger one." Joey replied.
"Anyway, I'm planning on going sightseeing with my niece soon. It may not be enough in my mind, but my crew are still setting up the TV equipment, especially our broadcast camera." Katherine said.
"I don't blame you, we've all early here." Becky commented. "Then again, we made the choice to be here rather with our families so...this is our price we have to deal with."
"Wait!" Carol called as she headed back to the group. "There's a building close by but it's on top of a hill."
"On top of a hill?" Luna responded.
"I don't know what it is but considering we have a lot of time, we can check it out."
"Perfect! I can give Adeline great sightseeing along with capturing it on video." Katherine said happily, picking up her niece.
"Well at least it's still something." Sam turned to Luna.
"I'm mostly wondering what we can do on the hill, especially the building." Luna wondered.
"Then let's go already." Sully said, standing up from the ground. While the rest of the group relax by the frozen Lake, Luna, the Moon Goats, her sisters, Carol, Becky, Benny, Katherine along with her niece and a cameraman made their way to the nearby hill. After going through the forest from the other side from where they came from, they got out where they saw the hill by the open field. It wasn't as big as they thought so they couldn't see it by the frozen lake.
Upon heading up the hill, they noticed snow steps from two people who went up there. Luna remembered the size of the snow steps, she still remembers the time she had a snow day without school, spending time with her siblings, and remembering the sizes of their footsteps. She may not be an expert like Lisa but she still knows her siblings in some aspects when it comes to size.
"We're almost there." Chunk panted.
With Luna and her siblings reaching to the top, the building is a medium size cabin with a garage on the right. It wasn't the best cabin in the world, but the most cozy at this time of year.
"It's just a cabin?" Becky took notice after reaching the top.
"Well that's a bummer." Luan commented. "But I wonder who's inside."
"Let's not bother them." Sam replied. "If they're staying for the Geminid Meteor Shower, they really rented the money here and not wasted a cent of it."
"I would do the same to be honest." Carol said.
When Luna followed the snow steps from the left side of the cabin, she saw two kids on the edge of the hill, but one of them she recognized very well. "Bro?"
The kid turned around after hearing the B word from someone who calls him that everytime. "Luna?"
"Lincoln!" Luna smiled as she ran up to him. "I didn't expect to spend my Christmas to see you." She then saw Girl Jordan and was surprised to see her. "And your happy Christmas angel." She lidded her eyes, causing her brother to blush.
"Hey, I also didn't expect to meet you out here to see the stars." Lincoln reacted.
"Lincoln, everyone called me and my friends Christmas angels." Girl Jordan said, walking up next to him.
"I even heard when you and her were video chatting, she called you the Gildor Elf." Leni smiled as Lily giggled.
"Guys stop!" Lincoln continued to blush harder.
"Aww! You didn't tell me?" Luan looking at Leni. "I could've come up with a great pun."
"Okay, everyone give him a break." Carol chiming in. "Lincoln and Girl Jordan were the ones Lori talked about and they agreed."
"We were planning on just spending Christmas apart since we did a lot this month, but Girl Jordan wanted to see the stars with me tonight, so here I am." Lincoln presented himself.
"Geez, everyone has last minute decisions." Benny commented.
"It's still our first time watching the Geminid Meteor Shower together with it being bigger than normal. I can't imagine how breathtaking it will be." Girl Jordan replied.
As Katherine and her cameraman reached the top of the hill, her niece cheered from the view on all sides. "This is perfect!" She smiled. "Get the camera ready!"
Luna, Carol, and Lincoln walked up from the edge of the hill while looking at the view in the distance. Nina went past the group to see Luna next to her brother while Girl Jordan took notice. "Is that a new member of your band?" Girl Jordan asked.
"Well, temporary member." Sam answered.
"She looks really cool."
"Thanks, I don't usually get those compliments from fans." Nina smiled.
"Hey, even non-fans can give out honest gestures." Sully added.
"Though I'm wondering what's with the cabin here."
When the group turned to the cottage itself, they agreed with what Sam said but when Sam got close to the window, she noticed it's empty in the living room. "I don't think anyone's here."
"Really?" Girl Jordan seeing through the window. "Yeah, there's no one inside?"
"But it doesn't look dusty at all." Nina also joined in.
Mazzy reached to the front door to open it, but found it to be locked. "We still need a key though."
"What about the garage?" Joey pointed. "Because I don't think it's very heavy, we might push the garage door up."
"Yeah, let's give it a try." Tabby cheered as the group headed to the garage.
Back from the edge of the hill, Luna told Lincoln everything on why she and her band are here. Of course Lincoln would've been in the same position as her sister but his relationship with Girl Jordan isn't the same as Sam's.
"Luna, when you say this is your first time spending Christmas with Sam, did you expect more from it?" Lincoln asked.
"Everyone wants their first Christmas with someone more than better." Luna replied. "If ice skating was my option, I would still want more from it."
"Even me and Becky, which is why we decorated the trees by the frozen lake." Carol added.
"Well, I can't say I would've felt the same way. Girl Jordan wanted to do more before we came here." Lincoln looked in the distance.
"Hey, the only thing I remember from last year is you and her having turtle doves. Don't act like she missed Christmas when she was born."
Lincoln turned to his sister after hearing the complement. "It did feel like that."
"Hey, I didn't get a chance to sit on Santa's lap until I was seven." Carol retorted. "When do you get a chance to sit on his lap?"
"Four years old?"
"Exactly!"
"What? I wasn't rubbing it in your face."
This causes Carol to lean down face to face with Lincoln. "Kids do that when they get their chance. They're not like my friends."
"Was it a bad experience?"
"We all grew up thinking that Santa was real." Carol leaned back while noticing that everyone except Katherine and her cameraman were gone. "Where is everybody?"
The three headed to the front of the cabin and saw Nina, Girl Jordan, Tabby, Sully, and Mazzy push the garage opener up. "We got it!" Nina smiled while they witnessed the inside.
"There's tons of sleighs in here." Tabby looking at the stack of sleighs.
"We can definitely slide down the hill with these." Girl Jordan smiled.
When Luna, Carol, and Lincoln headed to the front of the garage, Nina and the others took one medium size sleigh and walked past them. "There's sleighs inside?" Luna reacted.
"Yeah, we can ride down the hill to pass the time." Sam replied.
"That's actually really great." Lincoln jumped in thrilled. "I'll help you carry the sleigh Girl Jordan." He heads to ad Girl Jordan as most of the sleighs, small and medium, are out of the garage.
"You're thinking about sliding down with Sam?" Carol asked while they saw Sam taking another medium size sleigh out. "It's not skiing, but it's still riding down the hill."
"I do, it's just..." Luna stepped into the garage. "It's not the Christmas moment I wanted with her. Midnight is the moment, but sleighing isn't really what I had in mind to pass the time."
"It's not like it's wasting your time." Carol walked next to her. "I make the best out of using my time on anything that comes my way."
"That's easy for you to say, all I have is my gift to her."
Carol turned around to see Sam nowhere in her sight, outside of the garage. "What did you bring her?" She turned back to Luna.
"A light blue and yellow rockstar guitar pendant." Luna answered. "I couldn't find anything better like a new guitar or something else, so I went to the jewelry store where I found the pendant."
"That's...really unlikely of you to do that."
"I didn't get the choice to go out of Royal Woods. The women who worked there stated that the pendent's rare and I was lucky that they had her name on top of the guitar." When she took a deep breath, Nina overheard everything while hiding by the garage door.
Just when Luna headed out, Nina got out of the way while heading inside. She wanted to make things better between her and Sam, but it requires a lot more for them to spend quality time. But when she turned around, she saw two pairs of ice skates that are the right sizes for Luna and Sam. "This is perfect for her and Sam."
She headed to Katherine who her cameraman finished setting up and preparing to record. When she slightly pulled on her winter jacket, Katherine took notice as Nina whispered into her eye. Katherine liked the idea so much, she was willing to have it included on television. "I like the way you think, kid." She smiled.
Nina headed back to the group who all set up their sleighs. She shared a sleigh with Tabby from the front and Becky from the back. Leni, Luan, and Benny all shared one with Lily in front. Carol shared hers with Lincoln and Girl Jordan with her right in front of them, Chuck had his own sleigh for himself, Sully and Mazzy all shared one as Luna and Sam sat on their own sleigh.
"Are we all ready?" Carol asked, holding onto Lincoln.
"I'm ready when you are." Mazzy responded.
"We can do this as many times as we want, we have a lot of time." Becky added.
"This is gonna be exciting." Sam responded. "I did this with my brother last year, but not on this high of a hill."
When Luna looked straight down, it was a bigger hill then expected. If people walked up here, they're would be no way of them sliding down. "Yeah, he'll probably be exhausted by going up the hill several times."
"Would you?" Sam turned to Luna.
"Probably, if the hill wasn't so big."
"You'll be like my brother, even though you're in shape."
With everyone in their sleighs, they pushed them down the hill with Leni and Carol's coming down first. Becky and Sully came second while Luna and Chuck's came down last. "See you at the bottom, mates!" He called while sliding down.
The speed of Luna and Sam's sleigh due to the height of the hill was beyond what they expected. The two tried to hold on with the speed of their sleigh being much faster. They went past Becky which took her and the others by surprise.
"Whoa!" Becky reacted.
"They're going down fast!" Tabby shouted.
Soon Luna and Sam went past Benny and the Loud sisters. "Luuuunaaa!" Lily pointed and just in the nick of time, she received a high five from Luna.
"Wow, they're going really fast." Benny reacted.
"They're coming up by Carol." Leni replied.
When Carol, Lincoln, and Girl Jordan are focused on the end of the hill, they didn't pay attention to Luna and Sam who went flying past them. Just when they saw them, they reached the end of the hill with their sleighs slowing down. Luna and Sam turned their sleighs to the right to stop as the others stopped their sleighs.
"You beat us!" Lincoln getting out of the sleigh.
"We thought we would've been the first to stop." Girl Jordan added.
"I guess we were lighter than all of you." Sam giggled. "It's disappointing, but it's still not a race."
"And it was still fun!" Luna said. "If Lana was here sliding with Bobbie Fletcher, I would love to see the look on her face."
"Hmm, confident are you?" Carol smiled while raising an eyebrow. "If you participate in the skiing event at the olympics, let's see who's the more confident one."
With the other people stopping, they were amazed to see Luna and Sam sliding past them. "That was amazing!" Luan getting out of her sleigh.
"I want to do it again!" Tabby reacted.
"Should we get the others to slide down?" Leni offered.
"Sure if you go get them." Chuck picking his sleigh up.
The group continued to go back up the hill and slide down. Leni went back to the frozen lake and brought more people to join in. For the next hour, they continued to slide down the hill while Katherine recorded them. Not long until she and her niece took a turn, sliding down with Adeline cheering in excitement. Luna and Sam were having a blast sliding down multiple times. When everyone took their final slide down the hill, they reached back up to return the sleighs in the garage while heading back to the frozen lake. However when Nina became the last person to put her sleigh back, she took the two pairs of ice skates and followed the group.
When they made their way back to the frozen lake, they decide to take a break with the amount of time they still have. Nina sneakily went into her tent to keep the pair of ice skates a secret from Luna and Sam. But after she got out, Luan, Leni, Lincoln, and Lily spotted her.
"Were you carrying something?" Lincoln replied.
"Yes, but it's a surprise." Nina answered.
"Oh, that's totes a coincidence, because we already have a surprise for our sister Lu-" Luan covered Leni's mouth.
"Leni, don't blurt it out loud." Luan said.
"You also have a surprise?" Nina blinked.
"Yes?"
"What's this all about?" Lincoln replied.
With Lincoln being the only one not keeping secrets, the rock girl and sisters had to confess to each other. "We brought Christmas outfits for Luna and Sam." Leni answered.
"And I was carrying two pairs of ice skates from that hill we just went on." Nina answered. "It's mainly for Luna and Sam."
"As in, the two skating together on the frozen lake?" Lincoln asked as Nina nodded. Lincoln wanted to help out his rock and roll sister, but for how his sisters and Nina were setting everything up in secret, he wondered how Luna would react upon the moment's arrival.
"We've brought dresses for Luna being dressed up as Mrs. Claus while...it's a surprise for what Sam's gonna wear." Leni confessed.
"The Geminid Meteor Shower didn't feel like enough for her, so we wanted to make it better. It's almost a Christmas miracle she hasn't found out yet." Luan commented. "Then again, we didn't even prepare for the two at the last minute."
"Seems you didn't think of the idea of them skating together." Lincoln said, catching on to what was going on.
"If we did, we would've planned everything out. But I couldn't afford two pairs of ice skates." Leni said.
"If I took that opportunity alone, it would take me weeks, maybe even months to make it work between her and Sam." Nina commented.
When Lincoln looks at Luna who's hanging out with her band, including Sam, there's still lots of time before midnight arrives. Even with the trees decorated, he may find a way to make Luna's Christmas with Sam better.
"Be right back." Lincoln saw Girl Jordan hanging out Carol and Becky who were testing the Christmas lights. When he got her attention from behind, he whispered into her ear while keeping an eye on Luna and Sam not spotting him. Girl Jordan found the idea perfect as she joined in on Lincoln's plan. When they come back to the sisters and Nina, there's only one way to make Luna's Christmas better. "Let's do some more errands."
"Perfect." Nina agreed.
"Let's get this show on the road." Luan smiled.
"I can drive...but I'm low on payments." Leni added while Lily giggled.
Lincoln, his sisters, Girl Jordan and Nina, made their way to the exit from where they came from, only for Luna to take notice. "Hey!" Luna called as she walked up to them. "Where are you all going?"
"More sightseeing, since we still have lots of time before the meteor shower."
"We'll be back before night time." Luan said.
"We're mostly impatient, staying here isn't gonna occupy us for that long." Nina replied.
"I don't blame you, but I'm not risking the chances of missing the meteor shower at midnight." Luna looked up at the sky. "Hope you all get back."
"We will." Leni spoked.
The group headed back to Vanzilla to drive to stores outside of the forest. It took them to four separate stores to search for the stuff they're looking for. It took them all afternoon, but they managed to get everything that they needed. During their trip, Girl Jordan came up with an idea that'll make Sam more pleased when it eventually happens, just like what Lincoln did for her last year.
Nina managed to rent more pairs of ice skates for the people by the frozen lake for one night, but at the same time, she'll do more with them knowing that Katherine Mulligan wants her Christmas report to be memorable. Of course, she doesn't want everyone to stay off of the frozen lake, leaving Luna and Sam all alone before the meteor shower arrives.
By the time they headed back, it was starting to get dark out with the sun setting below the horizon. Even with only six hours left until the moment itself arrives, they still have enough time to set up the moment between Luna and Sam. Luan texted her boyfriend, Ruby, and Shannon on their plan for Luna, to which they accepted. Upon arriving back by the frozen lake, most of the trees around are lit up with each tree having one set of colors while some have multiple colors. It wasn't the best Carol and Becky set up, but for their first time, they at least contributed.
Luna and Sam both came out of their tents while taking notice of her brother, sisters and Nina coming back. They both walked up to them after five hours being away as Luna's becoming inpatient despite keeping on track of time. "You're finally back." Luna replied.
"I told you we'd be back by nightfall." Luan replied.
"Is there anything else you're gonna do until midnight?" Girl Jordan asked.
"Not much, we did spend time with the band performing songs...despite no instruments." Sam said.
When the group turned to the frozen lake, Luan and Nina turned to Benny who popped his head out of the tent. "That's good, hey Sam, is it okay if you can do an activity with Luan's friends?" Nina pointed at the tent just as Benny got back in.
"Sure, it'll keep me occupied for a little while." Sam made her way to the tent.
"Speaking of activities, me and the Moon Goats are all out of options. Then again the whole meteor shower is really testing my patience."
"Then how about we do something together in our tent?" Leni offered and Lily cheered.
"Even sisters need to keep themselves occupied." Luan smiled.
"Okay." Luna smiled as she and her sisters headed into their tent.
"Okay, you two tell everyone about our plan, but remind them to not tell Luna and Sam." Nina spoke to the preteens.
"We got everything under control." Lincoln smiled.
"Especially the unexpected moments." Girl Jordan lidded her eyes.
Lincoln and Girl Jordan reached everyone by the frozen lake, while Nina hid the surprises behind one of the tents when the moment arrived. For the next five hours, it's getting close to midnight, just thirty minutes away. It was a quiet time while Luna and Sam remained inside their tents. Carol and Becky looked up at the sky with tons of stars.
"The meteor shower should be coming in half an hour." Becky commented.
"The meteors from last week were smaller, but bigger?" Carol wondered. "Science and the solar system can be unpredictable."
"At least it's not an asteroid crashing into earth at unpredictable speed levels."
Katherine and her crew are at their tv set up, while Katherine is keeping her niece occupied. Everyone who's outside of their tents are waiting for the meteors to come past them, all except Luna, Sam, her sisters and Luan's boyfriend and friends.
"Wow, this Christmas outfit is perfect for me." Luna looking at her reflection from Leni's mirror.
"Does it take you back to your childhood?" Leni smiled.
"Yeah, minus the sparkles. And the ice stakes." Luna looked down at her boots.
"Don't worry, I've heard that the ice in the lake is really strong, thanks to the snowstorm." Luan added.
"You mean you want me to ice skate on the frozen lake?"
"It's not hard to get used to."
"What about Sam, is she also gonna ice skate?"
"Yep." Leni replied. "I bet she'll be surprised when she sees you in that outfit."
Luna can tell where this is going, but not catching on completely on her sister's plan. Especially since her girlfriend Sam is in the other tent hanging out with Luan's classmates. In the other tent, Ruby and Shannon took their time to put Sam in her outfit, but compared to Luna's, it was a bit harder to do.
"Is this really necessary? It's really cold outside." Sam said while shaking.
"It's only for tonight." Benny replied.
"Besides, doesn't it look great?" Ruby commented.
"I'm not gonna lie, it makes me stand out as a beautiful girl during the Christmas season." Sam looked at her outfit.
"If only we could rent them for Theatre Club plays." Shannon said, being mesmerized at the outfit.
"I'm still on the fence with the whole ice skating thing. I did take lessons, especially pairing with a partner, but on the frozen lake, aren't other people gonna ice skate?"
"In a little bit." Ruby answered. "Trust us, you won't regret this."
"It's just, I thought this would've been an appropriate time to do it earlier than thirty minutes before the shower starts."
"It's not like you're gonna miss it when you're outside like everyone else."
"I can guarantee that you won't fall when the meteors shoot past." Benny said. "If you're good at ice skating, you should be able to keep your balance with your partner."
Sam soon picked up the pieces with one more question in mind. "Who is my partner, by the way?"
"Take a wild guess." Both Ruby and Shannon smiled while Sam lidded her eyes. By the look on their faces, she won't jinx the moment of the partner she's skating with.
Back outside, Lincoln and Girl Jordan stand together in front of Luna's tent while Nina and Joey stand together in front of Sam's tent. fifteen minutes have passed with only fifteen minutes until midnight. With the people in Royal Woods sleeping until Christmas morning, people by the frozen lake aren't wasting their opportunity. A difficult night for first timers, but worth the wait. The Moon Goats along with their friends are sitting as a group, staying on time but also witnessing an ice skating show like from TV but by teenagers.
Luan popped her head out of her tent while Benny popped his head out of his. They gave each other a thumbs up while turning to Lincoln and Nina, giving them the thumbs up indicating that Luna and Sam are ready. Upon the signal, Lincoln and Girl Jordan lifted up a red curtain with pulls on each end to prevent Luna having eye contact with Sam. As for Nina and Joey, they have a white curtain to do the same with Sam.
Carol and Becky took notice of Luna coming out, they've heard about what Lincoln told them earlier and they're gonna join in on the view. "Would you be willing to give two of them an announcement? Like from an ice skating show?" Becky asked.
"Keeping them anonymous makes the show better, this isn't professional ice skating." Carol replied.
Luan and Leni helped Luna stepping on the frozen lake due to her ice skates. With Sam getting the assistance from Ruby and Shannon, the two groups reached the center of the lake and crossed paths. They remain still with Leni and Luan letting go of Luna. "You're ready for this?" Luan backed away.
"I think I can handle this from here." Luna grinned. "I'll love the look on Sam's face when she sees me in this." Sam quietly giggled with Ruby, after hearing what Luna just said. In the right moment, Lincoln and Girl Jordan moved out of the way with their curtain while Nina and Joey did the same. "Merry Christmas Sa-"
Upon seeing Sam in full view, she cut herself off, with her heart pounding. Sam wore an ice crystal sequin patterned outfit, being much more shiny compared to Luna's. Even without any make up, she still stands out more beautiful than Luna, who's the only person wearing a Santa hat. "Ha, Merry Christmas Luna." She giggled.
"That...outfit...is gorgeous!" Luna reacted. "I never thought I would ever say that!"
"And your outfit is adorable."
Luna was shaking, while Leni and Luan kept an eye on her in case she fell over. "Just stay in the moment." Luan leaned towards her sister.
"And backing out is the last thing people do during Christmas." Leni added.
"I'm aware." Luna responded.
"We should let them take it from here." Shannon replied.
"Okay." Ruby smiled. "The lake's all yours."
With the girls getting off the frozen lake, Luna and Sam stared at each other. With the sky filled with stars, Sam took Luna's hand as she moved herself, skating with Luna behind her. Luna saw the way Sam skated from the movements of her legs. She kept her balance as Sam turned to her right.
"It's not skiing, but it's still something." Luna is still distracted from Sam's dress.
"Don't worry, this is just for fun, I'm not expecting you to be an expert." Sam replied. "If we were skiing on a hill, I wouldn't want to see you do a flip of some sort, because you would end up crashing down."
"I've been thinking the same thing."
"Then again, I would've crashed if I was trying to save you."
"Still would do the same thing."
The two giggled while they continued to skate on the ice. With the tree lights glowing around the frozen lake, it felt like skating through a garden at a holiday light show. Even in staying in one place, Sam couldn't believe how hard Carol and Becky worked by decorating the trees. Luna may seem better when it comes to decorations, but she can't deny the place itself is beautiful.
"I want to know." Sam spoked. "I know we're gonna do well in the new year but...what do you bring me for Christmas?"
Luna didn't forget to bring Sam's gift, but on the other hand, she was planning to give it to her on Christmas morning after making the choice to sleep inside her tent. "Do you want me to give it to you now, instead of in the morning?"
"It's almost Christmas, besides, I'm willing to give you mine."
From the gesture of her girlfriend's holiday spirit, Luna made up her mind as she let go of Sam. She made her way to the Moon Goats with Sam stopping herself. "Go get my gift to Sam and hers to me, we're gonna open them tonight."
"No problem." Sully replied, heading into their tents.
"I'm gonna love to see this." Chunk crossing his arms.
"So do we all." Mazzy added as she gets Sam's gift. In no time, Sully and Mazzy got out Luna and Sam's gifts to each other. Upon giving them to Luna, Luna skated back to Sam and handed her gift to her. Katherine and her crew are recording every second of Luna and Sam's skating on the frozen lake and now, they're having the moment together. "This is gonna break ratings for teenage Christmas spirit!" Katherine cheered. "Zoom in on them!" The cameraman followed Katherine's order as the camera zoomed in on Luna and Sam.
"I want to open mine before you open yours." Luna replied.
"Okay." Sam smiled.
While standing still, Luna opened up her gift. Upon ripping the wrapping paper, they're Mick Swagger style headphones with Mick Swagger's face sticking out. "Mick Swagger headphones?" Luna smiled.
"I knew they were rare to find, so me and my mom searched outside of Royal Roods to find them. You can't imagine how hard it was to find them."
The appreciation of searching for a rare gift made Luna impressed, but at the same time, she couldn't do the same by going out of Royal Woods. "Speaking of Royal Woods, my gift isn't from out of town. But I did what I could to find something you'll enjoy."
"It's fine." As Sam looked at her gift, it's smaller compared to Luna's. She did receive smaller gifts in her life especially from her birthdays, but never expected one from Luna. Luna paid attention to Sam as she ripped the wrapping paper from her fingers. With the wrapping paper off, it's revealed to be a small box exclusive to necklaces which took her off guard. She took the top of the box off and saw the guitar pendant.
"Is that...a rockstar pendant...with my favorite colors?" She stuns in disbelief.
"It was mostly a last minute choice, I couldn't think of anything else." Luna slightly smiled. "I was thinking of picking out jewelry and I came across that."
Sam took the pendant out of the box and found it mesmerizing. Thanks to the Christmas lights all around, the reflections on the pendant were beyond beautiful. The guitar, while not the real thing, is fully detailed, as if there wasn't a single spot that was off. When she put the chain on her neck, it was better than how Luna imagined it in her mind.
"So...do you find it good?" Luna asked.
"It's more than good. It's perfect." Sam turned to Luna. "I'm not really into jewelry, but this really fits me."
Meanwhile, Nina checked on her watch that it was close to midnight, it was time for her to head behind the tents. With her running past Lincoln and Girl Jordan, it was also they're clue to do their own thing to make Luna's moment with Sam better.
"I'm glad that you like it." Luna smiled.
"I'll try to find one similar to this, but with your colors."
"I can help you with that, we don't have to wait until my birthday, that's still eight months away."
"Hey, it could be our new year's resolution together."
"Yeah."
Little did they know when they looked above themselves, a mistletoe was hanging above them. Lincoln and Girl Jordan together were holding onto a very long stick that the mistletoe is attached to the end. When they both looked at each other, Luna blushed hard. She kissed Sam a few times, but only on the cheek.
Sam also blushed, but not as hard as her girlfriend. At the same time, she's been thinking about receiving Luna a favor for the good things she did for her, especially today on Christmas Eve. She placed both of her hands on Luna's shoulders which caught her attention, but she didn't lid her eyes. She only looked straight into Luna's eyes so she could pay attention to her. Luna slowly closed her eyes, staying in the moment without anyone in the way.
"Merry Christmas...Luna." Sam closed her eyes and pressed her lips against Luna. She wrapped her arms around her while lifting her leg up. Luna grabbed Sam's body, preventing her from falling but her body is in another level of emotions. She shaked with her heart pounding, but Sam placed her hand on her back to calm her down.
Nina then rushed out from the back of the tents after setting off the surprise. Fireworks flew above the frozen lake, to the sky and exploded. It was also around the time where midnight of Christmas had arrived with shooting stars of The Geminid Meteor Shower. With them being bigger than before, they're in colors of blue, yellow, and purple. Both Luna and Sam opened their eyes while containing their kiss, with the decorated lights, fireworks, and the shooting stars on Christmas, they looked at each other again, and closed their eyes as they savored their best Christmas moment of their lives.
Everyone adored the moment, Tabby whistled from the moment she's witnessing Carol was more impressed with Luna while Katherine found the jackpot of all jackpots for her Christmas report. "You're aware that lesbian kissing isn't allowed on news broadcasts, right?" Her cameraman replied.
"Don't bring in oversensitive censorship!" Katherine leans towards the cameraman. "The LGBTQ community deserve a wonderful Christmas moment from their eyes!"2
After a solid minute, Luna and Sam broke the kiss as the fireworks stopped. They were more satisfied than they thought as Luna breathed after holding her breath. Upon letting the air out, she and Sam made their way off of the frozen lake. "Best Christmas ever!"
"That was amazing!" Mazzy cheered.
"Best romantic Christmas moment ever." Ruby added.
"I'll never stop putting mistletoes above couples during the holidays." Girl Jordan lidded her eyes.
"You really pulled a deja vu from last year little bro." Luna rubbed on Lincoln's hair.
"Wasn't planning on it, but I wasn't just gonna stand here and just watch the stars." Lincoln giggled. "Man with a plan love's out of nowhere goals."
"And besides, this Christmas is all about you and Sam." Luan commented.
"True, but Christmas is all about all of us." Sam replied. "I wanted to thank all of you for this."
"Really appreciated." Luna added.
Carol walked up by Luna, clapping from her and Sam's moment. "If this was part of a movie, you two would win an award for best kiss." She smiled.
"Couldn't agree more." Becky added.
"Anyway..." Nina went past the Moon Goats as she showed everyone her rented box of ice skates with Joey helping her out. "Who's ready to ice skate?"
Everyone cheered as they got a pair out from the box. In no time, everyone got on the frozen lake as they all skated. It felt like ice skating from the big city despite having no buildings, but the holiday feeling is still there, untouched and unchanged. The people who didn't ice skate are Luna, Sam, and Nina, sitting together, watching the people skate while The Geminid Meteor Shower is still shooting meteors from above.
"Aren't you gonna join in?" Sam asked.
"In a little bit." Nina answered.
"Is it because you planned most of this?" Luna guessed and Nina nodded. "You and the others weren't sightseeing, were you?"
"You're already catching on?"
"The moment came and went uninterrupted, this isn't seventh grade knowledge."
"I kind of knew it was a set up, but I wasn't gonna spoil anyone's Christmas errands." Sam giggled.
"Then I'm ahead of seventh grade education." Nina said.
"You bet." Luna taking off her Santa hat. "Nina, for you being an honorary member of our band, you proved to me that you really enjoyed us when we were just enjoying ourselves."
"Well I know bands do more than just gigs."
"Isn't it really a surprise, you've been with us for awhile, you already knew that." Sam replied.
"It's still the truth of them all. It was more than an honor to join your band. And as a person who adores Christmas, an honorary member shares holiday cheer to their closest members."
This causes Luna to roll her eyes, while smiling after months of getting to know Nina. "You're my friend rock star rookie." She wrapped her arm around her shoulder. "I think your new year's resolution is to write one song that can blow me away. No matter how long it takes."
"You're really giving me that honor?"
"Who knows."
"Possibly." Sam commented. "If it's a hit, you could write more songs."
"I will listen to them until the day I die."
"Okay!" Nina cheered. "I also have something for you two." She stood up while opening her backpack. She took out two bags of Christmas Snickerdoodles and gave them to Luna and Sam. "I don't have a lot for everyone, but I wasn't gonna forget about you two."
"Christmas Snickerdoodles?" Sam receives the snack.
"I would've passed them out, no matter what Christmas dessert it is." Luna taking one snickerdoodle out, taking a bite from it. "Thanks Nina."
"You're welcome." Nina smiled. "By the way, I need to return those ice skates back to that cabin."
"We'll do it in the morning. Enjoy ice skating."
Nina put on her ice skates as she joined the others on the frozen lake. "Should we join?" Sam offered.
"In five more minutes. I'm still satisfied from...you know."
"I'm also satisfied, but Christmas has arrived." She stood up while putting her beg in her tent. "And I'm not tired of ice skating again with my girlfriend."
Luna blushed again, while standing up. "Okay then." She took Sam's hand as they both got on the frozen lake. Nearly everyone had the best experience from The Geminid Meteor Shower after waiting half a day to witness it. Less and less stars appear but no one misses the moment they can all remember. Especially when more people see it on TV.
"I love Christmas." Katherine smiled as she joined in on the ice skating with her niece. "I'm just waiting to see the news reporters all around the world jealous of my ice skating skills."

Kokichi with an affectionate reader? Like. Hm. A simp?
I wonder if he’d still end up kidnapping?
Oooo don't get a lot of the original scenarios! Also this is just me. /j
Tumblr media
Kokichi with a simp
He loves it! He also bullies the shit out of you!
To go into more detail he does really like that someone he finds interesting really likes him so much, especially with so little effort! Score! However it's also kinda cringe to be a simp y'know, and he's gonna make sure you know it. Plus he's naturally paranoid and while he likes you, he doesn't trust that what you're showing back is the actual truth, he's gotta test that commitment!
So he's going to make you carry all his things and also him and constantly boss you around while insulting you for being a simp and being too easy to control. Hope you don't ever have any plans because this boy is breaking into your house at four am to go break into an ice cream store and if you try and protest he starts tearing up about how he thought you were his simp, how could you betray him like this! He's also constantly going to be pouncing on you asking for more affection, and get really snippy and mean if he catches you giving that affection to anyone else at all.
It's a mix of liking to boss people around and wanting to test your resolve. He needs to see how far this goes because if this is real you'd do anything for him but if you just want to use him eventually he'll annoy you so bad you'll slip up! So prepare for a barrage of pranks and unreasonable demands! However once he's sure you actually are just a simp he's going to relax it and enjoy the affection. Though he might be a bit concerned on why you're like this, does he need to destroy someone from the past who hurt you?
He's also definitely going to be very visibly affectionate with you even in public especially if you're even going to allow him to touch you in more lets say mature ways, prepare for him practically straddling you or making you hand feed him and him shoving his face into your neck or chest. He's a touchy guy and he's going to take full advantage of being allowed to touch to his hearts content. Grinning wildly as he shows everyone just who controls you as he grabs your ass. Though if not he'll respect that and just keep himself to more platonic possessive gestures.
At the very least he's not going to kidnap you as long as you continue to obey him and not pay attention to other people that's for sure! To him kidnapping is a plan B for failing to wrap them around his fingers quick enough, he gets soooo bored stuck in a house after all! It's just not that fun to watch his partner struggle against him when they could be doing pranks together instead. Being able to skip that step and jump straight into crimes is a relief for him, but he's definitely going to be keeping a stricter eye on you though, just to be safe. Plus since your so easy to command, he might not be able to help himself and indulge by making you a schedule or strict rules for things like diet and exercise and just show other things that shows how much control he has over you.
Kokichi doesn't want a yes man though, he wants someone he can trust to make decisions and act fast. If he's going to take you out for shenanigans he needs to know that you can make your own split second heat of the moment choices without having to rely on him. He wants you loud and proud of yourself and who you are outside of him, while of course still always listening to him, never leaving, and letting him track your phone. If you can't do that yet, don't worry, he's your leader now, and he's going to push you to have more of a backbone, like sure he wants you to always obey him but he values the opinions of DICE! If you think something's dumb or a bad idea he wants to hear it! Of course he never wants you to lose the part of you that snuggles him and pets his hair, but he wants to know more about you, he wants you to be you, that's who he loves, you, not a mirror.

Hey, so uh!
I wrote a little one act play sort of thing. I'll have it under the cut if anyone wants to read!
Amelia - a woman in her mid 20's
Danny - a man in his mid-late 20's
[The scene opens on Amelia standing before a gravestone, a small bundle of flowers on top. The stage is almost completely bare otherwise. It is a cold winter's day in a cemetery. Amelia stares down at the grave, a look of sadness and contemplation on her face. She is wearing a sleeveless dress and rubs her arms absentmindedly.]
[Danny enters. He is dressed in a black suit and white button up shirt. Neither of them is dressed for the weather, but Danny seems far less bothered by it. He approaches Amelia who glances at him before turning back to the grave.]
Danny: Did you know him?
[Pause.]
Amelia, shaking her head: ...I don't think so.
Danny: (laughs) Don't think so? You're not sure?
[Pause. Amelia shifts uncomfortably.]
Amelia: ...I don't think I knew him.
[Beat. They both look quietly at the grave.]
Amelia: Did you?
Danny: Mm... [Pause. He contemplates his answer for a moment.] Not really. Heard about him, though.
Amelia: Yeah?
Danny: Yeah. Nothing too special or impressive or big, exciting news or anything. I mean, you can find it in the papers, but it's just because you know...they gotta report on all the deaths and everything.
Amelia: Nothing special? He was...what? Didn't even make it to 30. How does someone die that young and it's just discounted as "nothing special"?
Danny: Well, no, I just mean like...he wasn't involved in anything crazy. Just...one of those stupid kids who tried to go swimming before they should've.
[Pause. Amelia nods slowly. It's getting cold. She bunches her shoulders for a moment. Danny looks her over, realizing that she doesn't have a jacket.]
Danny: Here... [Reaches for the buttons on his suit jacket, hesitates, and drops his hands back to his sides.] Uh...listen. You should probably get back home soon. It's way too cold out here for something like that. [He gestures to her dress.] I mean...look, if you're here to see someone in particular, I can maybe help you find them.
Amelia: No, I'm... [Pause. She shakes her head.] I don't know why I'm here.
[Danny looks at her for a moment, a mix of concern and pity on his face.]
Danny: Okay...well...people don't usually come here without reason. I mean...you know, they come to see someone. They come to just enjoy the quiet. They come to learn or pay respects or to mourn. I mean...did something happen or...?
[Amelia shifts uncomfortably. She doesn't look up at him. He's a stranger and she's not sure what she should tell him, if anything. But he seems willing to listen and that's enough for her to start.]
Amelia: ...everyone I know is gone.
Danny, shocked: G...gone? Like...?
Amelia: No! No, they're not dead. They're just... [Pause.] I don't know who they are anymore.
[During this speech, Amelia slowly turns to Danny without realizing, only coming to her attention when she's looking into his eyes.]
Amelia: I don't...talk to them as often anymore. You know, we...we get busy. We all do. And that's fine. But it's...I mean, whenever I do try to catch up with them, it's like...like they're slowly fading away. Emmy...Emily...wants to be called her actual name now because nicknames are silly and childish. Chris has changed majors five times now and I just...I can't keep up. I thought Sarah and Cindy were engaged - but now she's seeing Gary? I - I haven't even spoken to Gary since we were kids, so I can't even imagine what he is doing, what he likes, who he is - but the...the people they used to be...the people I am friends with, they just...they don't exist anymore. I'm just friends with a bunch of ghosts.
[She realizes she's been staring at him, rambling. She looks down at the ground, pulling her arms in closer.]
Amelia: I'm sorry. [She shakes her head, muttering] So dramatic...
Danny: Hey... don't say that. It's not dramatic.
Amelia: But it is. I mean...I don't know why I'm so upset. They're still around. They're not *dead*, they're just... different.
Danny: Really different, sounds like.
Amelia, nodding slightly and gesturing to the grave: ...feel like I know Daniel here as much as I know...whoever Emily is.
Danny: Well...I dunno about that.
Amelia, shaking her head: (Speaking quickly and shakily) Well, I do. I thought it was just little things at first, but I... there's nothing left. We don't work in the same place. We're not part of the same clubs. Most of us don't live anywhere near each other anymore. I try to invite them over for things that it turns out they don't even enjoy anymore. I...I don't...know them anymore. I don't know if I ever did. I... they're gone. The people I loved are all gone.
[Danny nods. He has things he wants to say, but he doesn't want to burden her more. She's shivering.]
Danny: Tell you what...I'll be here tomorrow. We can talk more...when you come back with a coat and maybe some mittens, okay? I don't want you to freeze out here.
Amelia: ...maybe I do.
[Pause.]
Danny: Sorry, maybe...?
Amelia: Maybe I do. Want to freeze. I live with ghosts anyway. Maybe...maybe I should just join them. [laughs bitterly] I still...still try to bond with them sometimes. Even when they aren't there? I just...pretend they are. I watch our old favorite shows and play the games and keep up with our old bookclub series and I tell myself that I'm not alone, but...
[Danny pauses. He starts to reach out for her. She turns to look at him. She looks desperate and terrified. He drops his hand.]
Danny: My brother died when we were kids. Stayed out in the cold too long. Mom didn't know he was out there. Everyone kinda figured...you know...neglectful mom, couldn't be bothered to take care of her kid... (shrugs) She wouldn't be bothered. But she was.
[He gestures into the distance.]
Danny: The one with the flowers and the little toy car is his. She comes down and replaces the flowers every couple weeks and brings a new car when the one there already gets broken or rusted or lost. She keeps up with birthdays and Christmas and...hell, she went to all the soccer games he would've been in. Cheered for his team and...hung the victory pictures on the fridge as if he were in 'em.
[Pause.]
Danny: I think more people live with ghosts than we realize sometimes.
Amelia: It's different when they're still alive. I can't come here to mourn or...bring gifts.
Danny: No, but...
[He hesitates. He's not sure if he's about to say the right thing.]
Danny: What if you come here to make new friends?
Amelia, laughing: In a graveyard?
Danny, shrugging: You met me here, didn't you?
[Amelia smiles.]
Amelia: ...you said you'll be here tomorrow?
Danny: I will.
[Amelia looks up from the grave to Danny. After a moment, she looks over to the side where Danny had pointed out his brother's grave.]
Amelia, turning back to Danny: Same time?
Danny, smiling: With a jacket next time.
Amelia, smiling: And mittens. I'm Amelia.
Danny: Danny.
[Amelia smiles and briefly looks down at the grave with a curious look. She turns back to Danny.]
Amelia: Well...I'll see you tomorrow, Danny.
Danny: See you tomorrow.
[Exit Amelia.]
[Danny looks at the grave and approaches it. He rests his hand on the slide, sliding it up towards the flowers. His hand stops just before he touches them. He sighs.]
[Lights down. End scene.]

🌒⭐️💬 🎭
(I am only somewhat sure I got all those right have fun sol~)
🌒 - Do you prefer Sun & Moon to be separate animatronics or share the same body?
I think if I was going to write a more canon-typical AU, I would write them as animatronics sharing the same body. The tension in their relationship is fundamentally tied to how unequal their control is over their shared body, and that's something I would want to dig into in my own writing, but I love seeing other people write them as separate animatronics too.
In my existing AU's, I've done both! The boys in Star-Crossed are twins, but they're very different individuals. In the Silt Verses crossover, they're two aspects of one god. So I guess my answer is both. Both is good.
⭐️ - Favorite AU character design?
If you asked me this three days ago, I probably would have said the Fairweather Fool, but now I'm looking at some of these proposed Digimon evo line designs and sweating over Sun and Moon's mega fusion.
If we're talking about other people's AU designs, hands down, it's gotta be Dusk and Dawn from head-in-the-icloud's Royal Jesters AU. They're just so appealing.
💬 - How would you describe this AU to a friend who wasn’t in the DCA fandom?
Both of the AU's I am actively working on are already so far removed from DCA fandom, they lend themselves really well to being read by people who aren't familiar with the source material! I have a couple friends who have read and enjoyed Star-Crossed who aren't in the fandom. I'd honesty just summarize the premises.
Star-Crossed: Sun is the Seelie court jester, well known and well connected, but in political decline. In order to bolster his waning popularity, he has written an ambitious stage play, a tragedy between star-crossed lovers that is certain to satisfy his fans, if only he can find the perfect actor to step into the protagonist's role. That's where you come in.
You are a sidhe seer searching for someone who was taken to faerie many years ago. In exchange for passage to faerie, you sign a contract with Sun agreeing to perform in his play. However, his twin, Moon, doesn't quite buy your story or the convenient timing of your appearance. Faerie is a treacherous place. He suspects there is someone working in the shadows to sabotage his brother's career, and you are his prime suspect.
TSV crossover: It's been generations since your people's god was outlawed during the religious wars that codified the legal faiths. Your rural, largely agricultural village is struggling to modernize, until a man from the city in a purple suit arrives one day with a tantalizing offer: a newly rebranded god of sunlight and celebrations, guaranteed to help your crops flourish in a way the pesticidal gods never did.
While the village elders and elected council members jump at the opportunity to expand in a new direction, one that promises increased opportunities for religious tourism, you pay the new god little mind, until it becomes clear you've caught his eye. However, the attention of a god isn't necessarily a good thing, and it seems Fazco hasn't been entirely transparent about this god's original aspect.
🎭 - Tell us one cliche/trope you love in AUs and one you dislike
Love: Enemies/rivals to friends/lovers. Bonus points if they were friends before they became enemies too, so you have a friends to enemies to friends/lovers reconciliation arc. Listen, I love a ship that makes me work for the payoff. The more baggage they bring to the table, the better. Messy people make for interesting stories.
Hate: Love at first sight and/or stories with pacing that doesn't give sufficient time for realistic romantic development to take place before characters start making dramatic life-altering gestures for their love interests or choices that go against their established natures. I'm an aromantic who loves ship fic, but nothing makes my romance repulsion flare harder than this. Just start in media res if you don't want to write the build up.

Heyyyy, so I've been reading all these match ups with the boys, and now I just gotta know who you think would work well for me? if you don't mind.
I'm pansexual and non-binary! I have some pretty bad anxiety and recently found out I have ADHD. I love taking naps, but like staying up even if it worsens my mental health. (I'm working on that-) I love reading and writing very much and are my favorite pass times. When I find something new I enjoy I will rant about it for as long as I can, tho I hate feeling like I'm boring someone or annoying them. I am also quite forgetful and have my moments of high and low energy.
You'd be good with Dust, I think. He's a great nap partner and wouldn't mind reminding you to go to sleep when he thinks you need it. He's grab you and pull you down and won't let go. Goodnight, you're sleeping now.
Reading and writing are great for parallel play, which he's amazing at. It's one of his favorite ways to spend time with people. He's also more than happy to listen to you ramble about your special interests, and he's great at splitting his attention. He can do one thing and actively listen at the same time, and he'll continue to make comments to assure you that he's paying attention, and might even prompt for more with questions.
He's good at keeping track of things, so if you forget something, chances are he'll remember for you. He's also brilliantly equipped to deal with energy swings, because... he sort of has the same thing going on, his are just more dangerous. If you skirt towards manic during these highs, he's also pretty good at helping you back down.
Alternatively, Nightmare might be a good choice. He's used to handling all of these things, and does so in stride and with grace. And you're sure of his affections because he does all of these with that... knowing little smile. Like you're adorable.

CUTE COUPLES GET IN FREE
Tumblr media
While this is after the two stories I'm posting on valentines day, those can be read as stand alone and are not needed to enjoy this. No cursed smut but it's still a crack fic featuring Samuraiden and Sunsoon
Sundowner wanted to take Monsoon somewhere special for their first date but he wasn't sure which option would be best. He turned on his codec and messaged Sam. "I'm surprised that he even agreed to go out with you. I'll help you but here's the thing. You gotta get blondie to join. Think of it as a double date."
Everyone knew that Jack would rather die than date Sam so he knew he would have to trick the cyborg somehow. "Maybe if I take everyone out for a group event?  Damn it, why doesn't Sam just find someone who's actually interested in em'?" Sundowner was up all night planning but he now had an idea of how to pull this off. He messaged Sam and they discussed on how to proceed.
Everyone was in the office listening to Armstrong's lesson plan. Sundowner rushed in and immediately shoved everything off the table. "What the hell do you think you're doing!?" Before Armstrong could continue all he heard was "CAN'T WAIT! EVERYONE OUTSIDE!" Unsure if there was any danger lurking, everyone decided to evacuate.
Outside of World Marshal was a black van. Sundowner immediately pushed everyone inside, acting as if he was performing a routine army drill. He got in the driver's seat and slammed on the gas. "Mind telling us what's going on?" demanded his boss.
"I just thought you guys all deserved a treat! I'm taking y'all to a theme park. Don't worry about payin' either." Mistral was the first to speak. "Wow, that's very considerate. What's in this for you?" He tried to keep calm and deny the allegations. "C'mon. Can't I do something nice every once in a while?" Everyone then gave him a suspicious look.
"Anyone think we forgot something?" Back at headquarters stood a lonely Khamsin. "Hello? Is anyone there...?" Suddenly he tripped over something. It turned out to be Bladewolf's tail. The man gulped. This would not end up well for him. As Sundowner was driving he remembered that he hadn't picked up Jack and slammed hard on the brakes.
At this point Mistral had made him give up his seat so she could use one of her many pairs of hands to drive responsibly. "Shit!" He then made a secret codec call to the cyborg and prayed that he would receive it on time. Eventually they pulled up to the park entrance. "Twinkle Park? Are you sure this isn't for five year olds?"
He was about to reassure them when a familiar face showed up. "Well if it isn't saucy Jack? What brings you here?" Raiden groaned. "That asshole told me that Sam died and I was invited to celebrate!" Sam looked hurt. "Why must you wound me, my love?" Before a fight broke out, Sundowner got everyone's attention. "Hey, we're all here now so let's just have a good time!" Raiden sighed. "Fine. But I'm not paying!"
Sam said that wouldn't be an issue. As everyone got to the ticket booth, Raiden and Sam were the first to enter, causing a noise to go off. A robotic voice came on. "CUTE COUPLES GET IN FREE!" Jack then started freaking out. "I SAID THIS WASN'T A DATE!" Sam responded by saying that he could either get in for free or pay separately. In the end he chose the first option but swore to the Brazilian that if he attempted anything then he was going to lose more than his arm.
Mistral and Monsoon were next. The buzzer went off yet again and they were just glad they wouldn't be having to pay. This left Sundowner and Armstrong. "Crap! This wasn't supposed to happen!" They approached the booth and the sound didn't go off, causing the man to realize what was happening. Armstrong let out an awkward cough. "I hope you realize that I won't be paying for your actions."
Two tickets were bought with money being docked from the mans pay. "Please just let this be worth it!" Everyone got together and looked at the park map. "All right, we meet back here by 4 PM. I'll pair off with Monsoon so that means Mistral and Armstrong will be together. That leaves Sammy boy and good ol' Jack."
Before Raiden could protest, Sam was dragging him off, hoping to find some sort of love tunnel.  Sundowner turned to Monsoon. "Anywhere you want to go yet babe?" The cyborg thought it over. "What about the drop tower?" While this was happening Mistral and Armstrong somehow wound up at the arcade.
They soon noticed the punching machine. It was currently being used by some lanky teenager who could hardly get the bag to move, giving out a pathetic score. This was getting on Armstrong's nerves. He watched the boy fail a few more times and then told him to go hop on some other machine. He took off his shirt and handed it to Mistral. She got to see his abs though so she was hardly complaining. He raised his fist and punched so hard that the machine exploded. Mistral then handed him his shirt back. "I think we should try something else."
______
Now it was Raiden and Sam. Raiden had made it a point that if he was being forced on a date then he should be the one to pick the ride. "That makes sense. So where are we going pretty boy?" The cyborg let out a smug laugh. "Let's see what's the fastest roller coaster that they have."
_______
It turns out the tower drop isn't as fun if you've already jumped off of buildings that are higher. "What should we do now?" This was Sundowners perfect chance. "I haven't been on a Ferris wheel in ages! Let's see of it can hold all of my weight!" They than began walking towards the next ride. Now he was panicking internally. "Say something to him damn it!"
"You look different. Did you do something with your hair? Oh wait I know! You're using a new soap!" The cyborg wasn't sure why his boyfriend was asking him these bizarre questions. "You're just smelling the WD40 that I polish my body with..." Well this was awkward. "Hey look, we're almost there!"
________
Mistral was standing in line with her boss when she noticed her colleague Sam. "Hey, are you guys also going on the rollercoaster?" Raiden smirked. "Why yes. Also the best seats are in the front row." He had no issues with this woman so he decided to do her a favour. "I'll keep that in mind, merci."
As everyone got aboard the ride, Raiden deliberately chose seats near the back. Sam then began to purr. "Oh bonito, you chose this place so we could have some privacy, how romantic!" Raiden was trying not to cackle like a maniac. "That's what you think!" he thought to himself.
Mistral sat near the front and waited for Armstrong to join her but unfortunately he was so large that he required his own seat. He pushed up his glasses and frowned. The only available spot was right behind Sam and Jack. He made his way over and buckled himself in, unaware of the horrors that await him.
________
Sundowner and Monsoon were now on the Ferris wheel. They soon reached the top and the Alabama man felt compelled to say something. "I can't believe they made a whole theme park modeled after a castle! It makes me feel like some kinda prince charming." Monsoon then turned towards him. "I'm not following. Are you wanting me to dress up as a princess or something?" Shit. This was now even more awkward.
"No, no. What I'm trying ta say is I like ya and I want ya." Before he could continue he was cutoff. "Are you playing from your speakers again?" This was the second time he had an issue with his blu tooth. "Darn it alexa, stop playing so this is love! I'm trying to do something important here!" Monsoon held Sundowners chin. "Did you do all of this just for me?"
The other man blushed. "It was supposed to be a secret!" The cyborg cuddled closer to him. "Who's my little pogchamp?" Sundowner responded "I am." The cyborg grinned. "Good. Now as a reward how about I let you throw these fire crackers at the children down below?" Sundowner was amazed and it took all of his will power not to play tonsil hockey with what was essentially a magnet.
________
There were screams. It was all over before it started. Raiden knew that Sam would most likely vomit his guts all over the place. Since most of the people were in the front they were safe. This did not apply to Armstrong though. When it hit him he screamed in rage, threatening to take the mans others arm. The ride came to an end and everyone immediately jumped out of their seats.
Armstrong was now coated in filth and was angrier than anyone had ever seen him. "WE'RE LEAVING!" He tried to contact the other two by codec. "WHERE THE HELL ARE THE THEY!" He got everyone loaded into the car and then burst through the gate. Armstrong was driving like a mad man, running over pedestrians and crashing into buildings. "Sir, where did you learn to drive?"
He would chuckle if he were in a better mood. "Mistral and I played a little game called crazy taxi at the arcade earlier!" They were doomed. Armstrong soon drove into part of the building and found Sundowner heavily making out with Monsoon next to the a panel of electrical circuit breakers. Sam gave a whistle and Sundowner tried to yell back that this isn't what it looks like.
"I DON'T CARE WHAT IT IS! GET IN THIS VAN NOW!" The two of them gulped. "Understood." They arrived back at headquarters to find Bladewolf rolling around in a puddle of blood as if he were a puppy. "THAT'S IT, I'VE HAD ENOUGH!" Armstrong was now going to take the mother of all showers. Raiden then handed a towel to Sam and left while laughing.
Mistral then used one of her many arms and picked the Brazilian man up. "Come on, it's time to hose you down." That just left Monsoon and Sundowner. He dipped the cyborg down and leaned in closely. "Now, where were we?" Suddenly Bladewolf came in. He wanted to play tug of war with this spine he somehow found. "FML"

[If It Makes You Happy]
finally wrote another one of these silly fluffs! This time a platonic, friendly thing between two characters whomst I don't think interact nearly enough: Frank and Barnaby (the latter being called Barbie here, and using she/her pronouns). Enjoy!
One wouldn't call Frank Frankly particularly "friendly". Sure, they could be quite pleasant towards others once he'd gotten to know them, and even look forward to spending time in their company on occasion. But it had always been very clear that he preferred his time alone, tending the garden or studying bugs.
The former of which they were doing one particularly pleasant Sunday morning, a fresh new tulip bulb in hand as they dug out a hole in the soil, humming a cheerful tune and thinking about all the chores to be done that day. He liked chores. Most folks would probably find that quite strange, but to Frank there was something so satisfying about writing up a detailed and organized list, doing each task with care and precision, then stepping back once they were done to admire all that he had done. There weren't that many he could think of today- a bit of organizing, the usual making of meals- but just meant more time to do their other favorite thing: catching bugs.
And what a day for bugs it was! Bees and butterflies fluttered and buzzed round the garden in the warm spring air, worms crawled in the dirt, and all manner of critters had their daily goings-on among the leaves of his precious garden. Frank though happily about how he might try to nab a few once all the chores were complete. There was one butterfly that looked quite-
"Frank! Hey Frank!" A familiar canine voice called out suddenly across the road, scattering his thoughts like the butterflies that scattered in the wake of Barbie's footsteps. Barbie. In all the time that they had known her, the two had never been very close. Yes, they would talk on occasion, but those talks were usually her annoying Frank with her stupid jokes, or being talked *at* by them whilst seemingly ignoring everything that was being said. Plus, he disliked her habit of chasing Eddie around whenever he'd stop by her house to deliver mail. All this to say that when they turned around to answer, he was already mentally preparing for whatever would ruin their day.
So it was a pleasant surprise indeed when he noticed the cup she held out to them proudly, lidded by a broad and fuzzy paw. Inside was a rather large butterfly, it's wings turquoise fading to pink and veined in gold.
"A Golden Sunrise!" He gasped, immediately taking it to inspect further. "I've been looking for one of these for ages! Oh I've gotta find a jar for you."
She grinned, hands on hips in a triumphant pose. "Ha, I *knew* I found something good! Saw the lil guy in the bushes outside my house, and he didn't look like anything you've mentioned before!"
At this, Frank paused, turning to look at her again. "You...you pay attention to that?" It's true, his speeches were rather long, and the hound had always seemed rather bored when they'd glance up to check. Not that it stopped him. They had long since accepted that these talks were done for himself and the love of the bugs, and that everyone most likely hated it besides him, and maybe Julie. But now?
Barbie awkwardly rubbed her neck with a paw, laughing softly. "Yeah, I mean...sometimes. I'll admit I don't always get what you're talking about...but, I can appreciate how happy it makes you."
His heart was filled with sudden love. To know that someone really listened, and her of all people! They chuckled softly. "It does. Thank you."
"No problem buddy!" She said. "You want me to keep an eye out for anything else? I'm a dog, so finding things is my specialty."
"Oh that would be lovely, yes!" He really meant it too.
Then she was off, and he was back to looking for a proper jar. They didn't have much reasons to stay and chat together for very long. But, Frank thought as he smiled, you'd never say that they weren't friends.

Question for you! (shadowbunnydragon):
What is your process for creating a story? How do you go from a rough idea/concept to the final written story? What are things you have to consider when writing a story, whether original or fanfic?
I struggle A LOT with creative writing and would love to hear how you do it for your stories. Thanks!
Oh gosh! That is quite the question!
Hmm, okay, well, first I come up with a fun idea, like one about a human boy finding himself in the world of Zootopia and following his daily life and the lives of others similar to him finding a home for themselves, or maybe about an isekai'd former human now in a world of magic and adventure as an OP anthro bunny girl, or maybe even one about a human boy who winds up turned into a mouse and living amongst a tiny hidden kingdom in the woods? (Coming soon! :3)
After coming up with said idea, I of course write it and all info about it I can think of, so I don't forget. I then like to think it over for a little bit, usually while out walking and listening to music or maybe doing something else where I can shut my brain off and just go with the flow for the idea. When I get a general idea for a larger story, and we're talking VERY general, a VERY rough and barebones idea, I add that to the idea concept I've already written down. Then, I like to take some time, maybe an hour, with some chillhop playing in the background, and write out a general outline for the story. How I want it to start, the overall direction I want it to go in, and how I'd like it to end. (It should be noted that any of these could change in small or even major ways during the course of writing. This is just to help focus the idea a bit.)
From there, I like to take a bit to just imagine the world and the characters I want in the story. Does this world have any history? What are its "rules"? What is this character's personality like? What is their motivation for doing the things they do? (A VERY important thing to keep notes on to track during the course of the story, as I have learned the hard way. While you want your characters to learn and grow and be shaped by their experiences, you also still want there to be a logic to it. Example: When writing about Judy, I try to think about her personality from the movie and how she would act in whatever random scenario comes to mind. How would she go about trying to solve X problem?)
I also personally have a love for world-building. I often enjoy listening to music and letting my mind drift as I daydream about these worlds and the things going on in them. You don't need to be as detail oriented as Tolkien, but you do still need to be mindful of the world and how it shapes and is shaped by your characters and events. That is especially true for original stories, but fanfics also can benefit from this as well.
Also, it helps to be open to constructive criticism, as there are a lot of insightful folks out there who can offer a helpful tip or insight. (Though you do gotta be careful to ignore haters and trolls, and also to remember at the end of the day, it's going to be YOUR story, so what you, the author, say ultimately is what goes.)
You should also remember that you'll pretty much be your own worst critic, so please try to remember to be kind to yourself. Any mistake can be edited, a section or even an entire chapter that just doesn't feel right can be partially or completely re-written.
You'll also want to pay close attention to words or phrases you may have a habit of using often, and consider looking up synonyms or trying to come up with different ways to say what you want to say, just to keep the writing from getting too repetitive.
Finally, the old adage practice makes perfect can be applied to creative writing as it can to everything else! This can all seem like a lot, and I'm sure I've forgotten about other useful tips when writing stories, but the more you take the time to work with them on your project(s), the more second-nature they will start to feel.
I hope that this was helpful!
(P.S. You should also try to remember that you are your own worst critic, and that the pursuit of absolute perfection one that, while it can push you to better yourself, can also keep you from actually getting the project done. So when working on a story, or art, or anything really, please try to be kind to yourself! I'm sure you'll write a great story!)
Thank you so much for asking!

The Man Next Door (Part 12)
The twelfth part of the series. Enjoy!
Plot: While tending his crops on his own, Jose encounters a strange man wandering his fields. Immediately, he knows the man is up to something and decides to contact Emma. That was when he learns the nasty truth about the mysterious man and decides to protect Yuri.
(At Jose's farm)
While humming softly, Jose watered his fields of crops. Just like he did everyday. It was a nice day out and, to make it even better, his son was coming over to visit later on in the day.
Sometimes, Yuri would come by to either catch butterflies or help Jose remove any bugs that would try to eat his crops. But right now, she wasn't here at this moment. He was by himself in the fields.
Or so he thought.
The sound of someone walking through the fields caught his attention. He looked up, in the direction that the noises were coming from. Was his son here? Was it Yuri? Curiously, Jose remained quietly and carefully walked to where the noise was coming from.
To his suprise and confusion, there was a strange man. He was standing in the middle of the fields, looking around for someone or something. Jose furrowed his brow at this. But he decided to go up to the man. "Hello, can I help you?" He asked. "I noticed you were standing there in my farm."
The man turned and looked at Jose, then smiled. "Oh! This is your farm?" He asked. "Wow, you must worked hard to make it like this. Well, sorry to bother you but, I was wondering if you had seen Mr. and Mrs. Cole around. Are they home?"
Now Jose was even more suspicious. Why was this man asking for Emma's parents? But he played along with him. "No, I don't think they are." The farmer shrugged. "Heck, I don't even know where they currently went to."
The man frowned but nodded. "Oh, that's quite alright," He said. "I was hoping you knew. Well, I must get going now." The man walked off and left Jose's farm.
Once he was gone, Jose immediately rushed back to his farmhouse. He picked up the phone and called Emma's house phone. He frantically waited for her to pick up. Relief washed over his face when she answered.
"Hello?" Emma said.
"Emma, it's me," Jose said.
"Jose, is everything okay?" She asked.
"Listen, some strange man came to my farm," He explained to her. "He was asking about your parents."
"…What? What did this man look like?"
Jose described to Emma in detail. Then, with fear in her tone, she told Jose the truth about the man. "His name is Johnathan Foster. Leo and I are trying to find his son, Lance. We suspect that he took him." She then explained everything to Jose, shocking the farmer.
"Thanks for the heads up, Emma." Jose said. "I want to keep Yuri safe. So tomorrow, when you see her at school, think you can tell her to wait for me at the office so I can pick up? I want to make sure that she gets home safe. And knowing her, she'd be traumatized by all of this."
"I will, Jose. I gotta go. Balan and Leo need to speak with me. Bye." Emma then hung up the phone.
(Somewhere in Lance's former hometown)
A man sat in the living room, watching the news. The investigation of Lance's disappearance was still ongoing. He balled his hands into fists in anger. His body twitched in rage as he grabbed the remote and turned the television off.
"Johnathan!!!" He shouted to himself. "I know it was you!! You took my boy away!! You just can't take no for an answer, can you!? Must you always make others miserable for your personal gain!?"
He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down before he could do anything reckless. Then, he marched over to his closet and found a crowbar. He seldom used it, only taking it out for self-defense.
He took it out, eyeing it with such determination. "Soon enough," He said in a dangerously calm voice. "Soon enough, I will make you pay, Johnathan. And I will bring you back home safe and sound, Lance."
He put his shoes on, not letting go of his crowbar, then he left the house, bent on saving Lance no matter what it takes.
