Traveling through the empty hallways of Mile's home, Mile's painted walls were stained a dark red of soggy blood as Randy stomped through singing loudly.

Mile's neck sweated bucks as they tired to keep their breathing a quiet as possible, trying to muffle their wheezing as they hid under their dining table.

They watched Randy walk down their hallway to their bedroom before shakily getting on their knees and scrambling away, running for their back door, knocking some chairs over making the silent house, silent no longer with the loud crashing of wooden chairs.

Miles muttered curse words as they stumbled onto their porch, tumbling down the stairs and bolted for their car.

Miles started to sob louder as they panicked with their keys from their back pocket as they heard the front door slowly creak open as Randy stood their, knife dropping.

Miles only took a second to look up, Randy was drenched in blood, his screen was cracked and buzzed and spat from the open wires. He laughed quietly watching Miles, not speaking.

Miles quietly whimpered as they escaped into their car and took no time in turning it on and driving out of the driveway, only to watch Randy watch from afar, just smiling.

Miles sobbed as they drove off down the road, clutching onto the hot leather that was baked in the sun, as Miles sped up, Miles was going to drive as long as they could, as far as they could.

Back at the house, Randy hummed happily as he opened an app on his phone, watching the tracking bug planted in Mile's car follow them effortlessly.

Yandere!Alastor x Reader Thoughts:

Alastor would be the type to adjust and tailor his darling's behaviour/tastes into what he desires in a way that's subtle but noticeable.

For instance, it would start with something as small as music taste. He strikes me as the type to hate rock music the same way the majority of people can't stand country music.

Just a cacophony of senseless noise that isn't pleasant to him in the slightest and makes his eye twitch the moment the first few chords ring out around a room.

He'll listen to his darling emphatically go off about their favorite artists, sure - smile never wavering in the slightest as they list names with a passion that, if he wasn't so composed, would spark jealousy.

But he wouldn't return the energy in the slightest, only giving the most minimal responses back possible. It wouldn't be cold to the point he'd come off as rude, but it would be enough to plant the seed of doubt in their mind on whether or not the music they like is really as great as they think.

Gradually he'd shift the conversation over to different genres in the music industry and the difference in engagement would be night and day.

The same would go for any other topic. In order to get anything out of him, the more they would have to involve themselves with what he likes.

This drabble is my first writing piece, idk if I’ll make it into a fic. I started writing down some thoughts and an exposition for myself and then I was like, this might make a nice lil prologue. Idk tho im a virgin in this. So if what here’s and obligatory ‘pls leave me be, im learning ;-;’

Dishonourably discharged 141 quartet! (also this is an xReader thought I promise)

Their last mission was an unfortunate, grievous endeavour. A negotiation of high profile hostage releases in an abandoned multi-story factory which turned out to be a trap. Even if it cost the terrorist organisation the lives of extraordinarily important extortion-able victims the notorious 141 needed to be wiped at whatever costs, which meant sacrifices had to be made.

Only no-one, not even himself, expected Price to chuck the bomb-covered man off the ledge, 2 stories down to where the hostages were held. It was a split second decision made to save the lives of his men and deal with the consequences later. And deal with the consequences they did. The explosion ripped apart the lower floor indiscriminate of flesh or rusted steel. The old, battered building caved in on itself momentarily, engulfing everything within into a black hole of scrap, wire and human cadaver.

By some miracle, although festering with wounds and decorated with jutted broken bones like arrows out their skin, the 141 lived to tell the tale. Undoubtedly, this would get them discharged for “on the field injuries”. And yes, they were supposed to be medically discharged . It was disappointing that their military careers (their sole drive in life) was over, but, yes, they were supposed to get a fat pension, full healthcare coverage for immediate family, veteran discounts for everything from groceries to mortgages and awards for their sacrifices. They were supposed to live the rest of their lives relaxing, hunting, pursuing unfinished dreams and/or hobbies.

Except the son of one of the hostages rallied the other victim’s families together and incriminated Price for manslaughter. The boys weren’t about to throw their Captain under the bus, disputed the charge despite Price’s pleading, and got incriminated by association. It wasn’t fair, but they were never going to win a trial against a pack of multi-billionaires, no matter the accusation or its validity. There was one small mercy though; because of their connections in the military they were dishonourably discharged instead of imprisoned (and considering that blood and money turn the world, it would probably been for a lifetime). Their records and achievements were wiped, awards taken away. They were left unfit for any veteran benefits and with chronic pain and injuries as the final nail in the coffin, unwanted souvenirs from that god forsaken mission.

Overtaken with hatred and disappointment from both the traumatic event and the experience of their metaphysical lives ending the men unwillingly closed this chapter: abandoned, empty, changed.

Ghost much like his callsign disappeared in the first week after they split, no contact, no goodbye, no nothing.

Gaz went to live with his relatives, trying to figure out his next step.

Price hunkered down with a former military friend and his family.

Soap moved back into his elderly, struggling mother’s small cottage. It’s the reason he went into the military in the first place, to help support his family.

They all knew these were temporary arrangements. The army was their life; no branch or association would take them now, not with the bold, damning DD stamped on their papers. But very little quality employers wanted mentally traumatised men whose chronic and psychic pain rendered them unable to do blue collar work. Yet, non had the education or the drive to be employable in a more specialised, less physical sector.

Was this the end?

Maybe. But the sun shone on Soap’s meadow, illuminated his life and showed him a new way out. He was at the right place, at the right time and managed to bump into you. You really should have just kept walking. Taking pity on the blue-eyed puppy, kicked in the teeth over and over by life’s unforgiving boot should have been a noble act. But feed a dog once and it will keep coming back, and unfortunately, this one has a rabid pack.

first of all, in the birth of the hero, you were described as the pitiful wife of the trash. the pitiful wife who was forced to clean up the mess that her husband made. and many citizens of roan kingdom pitied you because of that. ahh, what a pitiful being you are. they are sure that if you weren't married to the trash cale, you will live a good life.

that's also the reason why cale didn't bother to include you in his plan. he's sure that you will avoid him since you know, you were forced to marry him. and besides, you are free to do whatever you want since the count, his father, favours you.

but, of course, just like usual. things didn't go the way he wanted. since he didn't expect that your and the original cale henituse's relationship was good.

how did he say so? well, it was because of the countless portraits of you and the original cale henituse that he saw in his room. both of you were smiling brightly as if the two of you didn't care about the world. not good my ass, based on the portraits that he saw in his room. the two of you look very in love with each other.

You’d never be able to tell just how far Zhongli was willing to go to keep up this fatherly charade when you first meet him

Nothing sticks out as weird, overbearing, or out of the ordinary. He genuinely just seems like a lonely older man who likes to talk for hours about very varied topics

And you learn a lot by listening to him! He knows so much information about a large array of topics that interest you, so you stick around to listen and keep him company. You’d feel bad just leaving him alone all the time, especially when it doesn’t seem like others have the patience to listen to his monologues like you do

But soon enough, your friendship evolves from sitting in a tea shop and listening to his rambles, to walking around the harbour and having actual conversations with him

You ask him questions, he answers them in kind. You tell him about your day, and he listens with enthusiasm. You come to learn that he is a great conversation partner, even if you’re clearly no where near as cultured or knowledgeable as him. He holds no judgement, and is willing to listen to anything you tell him

The issues only start to bubble to the surface when you go to him for advice about what seems to be a taboo topic to him. Dating

It was a harmless question really; you simply asked if he had any recommendations for good first date spots since you were planning on asking a longtime friend out finally. You thought Zhongli would be the perfect person to ask since he knows everything about everywhere in Liyue

And he seems to freeze for a moment. For the first time since you met him, he seems genuinely speechless, no response to give

But he quickly recovers with a quick remark about how you’re too young to be dating, which is such a fatherly thing to say that you try to take it as a joke. Even if his tone was much harsher than usual

And you vowed never to bring it up again since Zhongli didn’t seem to appreciate that kind of question. But the question came back up in a different form about a week later

Your friend had started distancing them self from you, and you had no clue what you did to make them suddenly dislike your company so much. So once again you went to Zhongli with your concerns, he’s the smartest person you know and you trust his opinion greatly

Whatever response you were expecting, that certainly wasn’t it. His voice was so sharp, devoid of the usual warmth it had when talking with you. Maybe lost friends was a sore topic for him? You seemed to be walking on eggshells with your conversation topics recently

You tried to move past the conversation, brush it off and pretend like it didn’t happen. But the venom in his voice stuck with you and made you a bit more cautious around him. But clearly not cautious enough

You were too worried about saying something to direct that venom your way that you didn’t even notice the hold Zhongli had on you was growing stronger. You always joked about how he acted more like a dad than a friend, and it seemed like he was taking that info to heart

He started voicing his opinions on your choices in a different way, phrasing them as questions. Like a father who didn’t want to enforce his unspoken rules on you, and instead wanted you to doubt yourself and take into consideration what he wanted instead

Your walks around Liyue harbour no longer felt like a friendly stroll, it was practically like going shopping with your dad. Having him pick out food and clothes for you, and being a constant overbearing presence that stopped anyone from attempting to chat you up

It took you realising that you practically lived with him for you to notice just how much control he had over your life now. No longer were you an independent adult, you’d practically become one of those kids that never moves out of their parents homes for the rest of their lives

But just because you realised it didn’t mean you were able to do anything about it. His entire house was practically baby proofed, there was no way you’d be going anywhere without his permission

But it’s okay. Zhongli has been taking his role as your father figure very seriously, and he’ll make sure you’re well looked after in his care

I find it so funny that, since most people are introduced to mxtx's works through mdzs, newcomers tend to have this view that wangxian are so weird. Their...everything (wwx's casual "dark arts" aesthetic, their fondness of cnc, lwj's whole hall monitor thing, among many other things) makes people go "yeah they're a great couple but my god they arent normal"

But. But when you have read mxtx's other works (and therefore know about bingqiu and hualian and moshang), the general consensus is that wangxian are the most normal out of all the pairings.

This is just a concept, I actually haven't thought about it much this is basically just a word vomit.

No matter how you two meet, I feel like it's no surprise that he's not overbearing.

In fact, compared to ozai, he is pretty nice and reader probably won't even notice the rise of his tendencies as a yandere.

Uncle Iroh chooses and values humility over pride so he's pretty chill. He is wise and takes great joy if he manages to get reader to laugh with one of his jokes.

If you aren't a part of the royal family, maybe you originally meet him at a tea shop you frequent or work at.

How long he knows of you will also depend if you are from the fire nation or Ba sing se

His fixation probably starts if you reminded him on anyway shape or form of his deceased son. Even as wise as he is, Uncle Iroh is not imune to grief and it's sorrowful claws, which sometimes leads to some irrational paranoia (not that reader or anyone else is aware).

With that, he wishes to be by your side no matter what, it's enough to just bask in your presence and to know reader is safe and sound at all times.

I see him carrying something you own with him 24/7, so if your favourite necklace is suddenly missing don't worry to much about it. Oh? You're sad about it? He'll buy you another one so you'll always have with you something to remind you of him

He's actually really sweet period

Even though he's just an old man, don't let looks deceive you, he is pretty powerful, a general and brother of the Fire Lord Ozai, when it comes to you and your safety, if it's necessary he won't hesitate to use any of his titles, although he prefers peace over battle.

Teaches you a lot os things like how to brew tea property. Loves to make you tea and other blends

If you don't know how, he'll also teach you how to play pai sho

As we all know, he is great at giving advice when you come to him with your problems, he loves listening to you. If reader has any activities they enjoy he'll absolutely insist to participate.

Best emotional support and company, you'll find it easy to talk to him about anything and everything, and in the middle of your excited rambles you won't even realize the amount of personal questions you've answered and the kind man who is mentally memorising it all, drinking it like the golden liquid of the gods

He tells you stories of his time as a general, tales of the spirit world and shares his knowledge of culture from other nations.

He doesn't care if you can bend or not, you being you is enough.

His yandere side doesn't really shine through that much, he lets you have all the freedom you want but you'll come to notice that he's always near, seemingly afraid to stray too far.

Like a father, he praises you for everything not just because of his tendencies but because he's genuinely proud of you.

Even if he doesn't like it, he'll subtly manipulate you to stay with him or to not leave permanently without him for another path of life .

Of course, that's just the tip of the iceberg, once reader ceases to be oblivious of their situation some things are bound to change.
