omg he’s so gorgeous and like the thing about him—at least in my opinion/my own personal interpretation—is that while he is genuinely so sweet (almost sickly so at times!) and so kindhearted and so so tender, he is also so used to being served and so used to being the Boss, the undying’s precious phoenix prince, the king of everything, and it comes out in these tiny little wisps and hints in certain interactions; a vaguely bratty comment, a gentle yet vehement assertion, a soft chuckle beneath a gloved hand……..

all of this is to say, i think he’d fucking love to have a partner who lives to serve him and be his precious lil doll (to the point where he may even feel guilty about how much he loves it, because he knows it isn’t necessarily right, but he just can’t help but feel this way about you <3). he wouldn’t push it on you, and he wouldn’t hold you back from doing things you wanted to, either, if he deems them good or beneficial for you—he’d definitely encourage you to do things if they were things you wanted to do/made you happy—but oh, to have a baby who’s syrupy sweet and devotedly doting and hangs on his every word; to have a precious lil princess who gazes up at him as if he’s painted the entire night sky by hand, speckled the stars across the atmosphere and carved out the moon himself; to have a soft sweetheart who clings to him in every way possible, hands curled around his fingers or wrists or biceps when he takes you for a walk in the gardens or when you sit down for a meal (always beside him, never across from him, protocol be damned), who snuggles in his lap or straddles his thighs and nuzzles their sugar-sweet lips against his neck or collarbone or jaw, who obediently never leaves his side unless it is absolutely necessary <33333 that sounds like a perfect dream, a paradise, to him <3

gonna focus on their cults for a second but id think they'd meet up because of trading and whatnot ^_^ since yk. swagdoons and business partners and whatnot but id imagine their cults would have a lot of things about economics (red's moreso, ash's would just use money as a status symbol/sign of power)! so uh. insert coin tossing and riches rituals here. and also insert ash's cult using money as a sign of loyalty here bc its like, giving up your ego to someone. yeag .

but yeah! some misc things is that i think their cults would be Well Known but they have funky variations depending on which region you go to >_< sorta like how there's Flavors of swagdoons depending on which series you base them off of! also they'd have the craziest and sickest parties i just Know it . dionysian parties type beat fr!

“Dude! Why didn’t you tell me you wore glasses too! That’s so awesome, we’re like, twins or something.”

He’s actually going to be pretty excited! If he didn’t know, it was a pleasant surprise. He thinks that glasses make everyone look cuter (including him-) so you’re that much more adorable.

Also, he might steal them and put them on over his glasses. Just to make you laugh. And then he’ll always say “wow, you’re so blind!” even if your prescription is super low.

Cannot stop staring at you. If you hate eye contact, it’s gonna be really annoying for a bit. But he just thinks you’re sooo cute… he can’t help it!

“You look absolutely lovely today, dear. I should’ve worn mine today, then we would’ve matched!”

Arthur is not that surprised. He would’ve asked if you wore contacts earlier, so he’d know your vision was not perfect. Neither is his! But he mostly wears glasses for uh… fashion reasons.

He might make fun of you a little bit, but he knows not to push it. He doesn’t want to annoy you too terribly. But maybe sometime he should move your glasses somewhere else… just so you have to ask for his help. Wouldn’t that be cute? No? Ah, well…

He might ask you not to wear your glasses very often if yours look like America’s though. It’s just… a little offputting. He might even offer to buy you a new pair in that case.

“Mon ange… have you been hiding this from me? You’re so adorable!”

He’s rather taken aback. He wasn’t expecting you to look so different… can you wear them all the time now? They make you look so modern and put together!

If you ever put them down, he’s trying them on immediately. And then bothering you until you tell him that he looks cute in them. Just so he can say you look even cuter-

He’s definitely teasing you about it though. Even when you’re not wearing them, he’ll talk about you like you are. You’re gonna be on the receiving end of a lot of “you’re so blind!” jokes. Sorry!

“Ah, you look so silly! Is that why you never wear those?”

He doesn’t really care that much, but he does get a little excited. In a very juvenile way. But if he didn’t know you wore contacts before, he’s just the tiniest bit surprised.

Immediately, he asks to wear them. He’ll laugh at how terrible your vision is and tease you about it for longer than you care to deal with, too.

Specifically, he’ll call you old. Just because he’s so ancient and still doesn’t need them (yet.) This may not be funny to you, but it is hysterical to him. Just walk away and act mad, and he’ll apologize.

“What a lovely surprise! Are they new?”

As soon as he sees you, he’s giggling and blushing. He just can’t get over how different you look! It makes you look even cuter and dorky… he just loves it!

He won’t ask to try them on, but he will try and get you to ask him to. Just being like, “They look so cute on you, I wonder how they would look on someone else. Someone… um. Not short like you.” Please give in, he would be so excited.

He won’t tease you too much, but he can’t stop himself from commenting on it. Not too embarrassingly though, more just like “You should wear them more!” No comments making fun of how terrible your vision is-

“Why didn’t you tell more you wear glasses before?! Awh, you look like Germany!”

He’s very excited! He’s immediately fawning about how cute you look, which comes off as a little insulting because of his insistence on how different you look.

Asks if he can take a photo of you. Why? He tells you he needs this moment to be immortalized. It’s not that big of a deal… but to him it is. For some reason.

He’s also gonna have his eyes glued to you the whole time. If you compliment him, he blushes way more than normal. It’s like it put him under some spell! Hopefully, he learns to control himself soon…

He just thinks you look so fancy and adorable!

“So… do you normally wear those? Because they uh… they fit your face. Wait… I mean they fit well!”

Ludwig is going to be a little taken aback at first. You look… different with those on. Your glasses may just be a little piece of plastic, but he thinks you’re so much cuter with them on…

But he doesn’t want you to be so embarrassed about it, so he doesn’t comment on it. Other than a quick “Oh!” when he first sees you, and a stifled “You look nice today….” later.

Whenever he wears his glasses, he hates people's reactions. So he won’t subject you to any unnecessary staring. Even though he really wants to-

“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you wear glasses before. They suit you, my dear.”

Kiku doesn’t really react very strongly. Unless your glasses are super dorky. Then he’ll giggle a little bit at your nerdy appearance. But other than that, he won’t tease you about it.

The most he’ll do is just mention the change. Maybe ask if this is a permanent change or just for now. But mostly, he doesn’t care. He has to wear glasses sometimes as well, so if anything, it’s just another thing you have in common.

You sputter, and Ace nearly falls over in shock.

“You what?!” he gasps, placing a hand over his heart, “Prefect, how could you!?”

Well, you suppose it was only a matter of time before someone found out.

“Like I said, none of your business. Now goodbye, Ace.” you grab his wrist and tug him towards Ramshackle’s front door.

“Who is it? Is it Trey? Cater? Oh, please don’t tell me it’s Deuce!” Ace babbles, trying to yank his wrist out of your hold, “It better not be Riddle!”

“He isn’t even in Heartslabyul!” you throw your free hand into the air, exasperated.

“Savanaclaw?” Ace guesses, staring you down eagerly.

You say nothing.

“Ruggie!” Grim yells, flailing his little paws in the air, “You’re dating Ruggie!”

“Ugh, no! We aren’t dating yet!” you whip around to face Grim, a sour look on your face.

"I love you," Peter says.

You smile and reach for his wrist, rubbing your thumb over the fine hairs there. You hope it says I love you back but somehow you know it's not the same. You want to say it aloud; you do love him, you just can't make yourself. The words feel foreign.

Ever patient, Peter pulls you towards him and dots a quick kiss in your hair.

"Alright, see you later honeybee," he says warmly. You let his wrist go slowly as he pulls away, watching his back retreat up the steps of the ESU library.

It's about two minutes before you realise you're still standing there.

It doesn't feel fair. You know that you love him, and maybe he knows that you do – but he deserves to be told. Of course he does. You start up the steps before you've formulated a plan, through the double doors, up a flight of stairs to the quiet computer lab.

Peter's thankfully right by the door. There's not many people, only one without headphones. You clear your throat and Peter looks up. He's pleased and then concerned.

"Everything okay?" he asks quickly. "Y/N?"

You didn't plan ahead. You stand there in the doorway, take a hesitant step toward him. Breathing too fast to be casual.

"Peter," you say, very quietly.

"Yeah, what is it?" he asks.

He holds his hands out, twisting his chair towards you. You falter. If he gets his hands on you you're ability to speak will diminish by at least fifty percent and you need all guns blazing for this one.

"You're freaking me out," he says.

"I have to tell you," you start, and then stop. You worry you sound like you're gonna break up with him. Or that you have a secret family. It's awful. It doesn't sound like a proclamation of love. "Uh, I mean. Okay, I'll start again. I want to tell you, and I find it so hard but that's not because you don't make it easy to… to love you." You're mumbling, looking anywhere but his face. The last sentence is a slip up, you don't mean to say it like that.

You take a shuddering breath. Your hands are shaking you're so nervous, so awkward, so afraid of embarrassing yourself that you've managed it thrice.

You step into the reach of his hands and glance around to make sure no one's listening to your display of ineptitude.

Peter takes your forearms into his hands, slides them down until he's clutching your elbows.

You chance a glance at his face, find his lips determined in a flat line but his eyes betray his amusement, his fondness.

"I love you." You feel sorry for how strange it sounds.

"I know that," he whispers. He smiles so wide you think he might split his lip. His lips press together again like he's trying to contain himself, looking up at you with bright eyes. "C'mon, I know. Don't have to work yourself up so much over that."

"No, I do, 'cos you always tell me and I never tell you, and you should know because you're the best thing in my whole world," you whisper, incensed; angry with yourself in the depth of his kindness.

"Honey," he says softly, "you're fine. You don't have to force yourself." Then, with a huge smirk, "It is awesome to be told, of course, but I already knew. So don't worry about it."

You reach down to hug him and he receives you eagerly, a bone crushing, excited hug. Suddenly, the adrenaline of telling him hits you. "I love you," you tell him again.

His arms crush you impossibly tighter. "I love you too. You're your own worst enemy, you know that? Don't stress so much."

You let out an annoyed, grievous sigh, mouth pressed to his cheek.

"You come all the way up here to tell me that? Or, let me guess, you want to practice linear equations with me?" he asks teasingly as you pull away, wagging his eyebrows.

"No…" you moan, digging your face back into his neck. He chuckles and pats your back.

"Poor girl. They get easier, I swear,” he says gently. You're not sure if he means proclamations of love or linear equations, but both feel like a lie.

He definitely admires good dancers though, and often takes the time to watch them and appreciate them for what they do

This is why when he walked in on you freestyling, he was absolutely blown away. You told him about it before, but seeing it was a different experience-

He's just bewildered that you can dance like that without thinking. He always has to remind himself where to put his foot, what do you mean?-
