Project Sekai Guys Giving Kisses

TOYA

Gives very shy and insecure kisses , not due to the fact that he's not skilled but more because he feels like you're one of the people he's the most invested in and could therefore get most carried away with. Kisses on the cheek are his favorite because he can spend many minutes making sure he kisses you everywhere and he doesn't have to worry about leaving marks behind, but there have been times where you left lipstick marks on his cheeks.

AKITO

He has two types of kisses, the almost lazy, slow ones after classes where he doesn't show much energy other then when he's in good company, and the hard, demanding, passionate ones after a show where he will leave you gasping for air. Both have their benefits, the lazy ones take more time, therefore you can savor every little detail of him, his hums and laughter. But the post-concert ones are the ones that make you dizzy and needy for more right away.

TSUKASA

Wants every kiss to be better, more memorable then the last. He always seeks you out in the crowd, knowing you'd be somewhere at the front and blows you air kisses. Those are always for you, just for you. He makes sure that you get flustered when you're with him, he nibbles on your ear when your guard is down to get you to pay attention to him, he bites on your lip to get you to whimper, but he also kisses your hand every time it's time for him to go home.

RUI

Loves to sneak you backstage to kiss you senseless on the couch before he has to say goodbye to everyone. When you have limited time you seem more desperate for him then when he's at your place or vice versa, meaning that he can also get away with a lot more playfulness and risks by kissing and marking your neck and feeling you squirm under him. It's also more fun if you get interrupted in the middle of kissing and your lipstick is all over his smug face.

# akito.

akito definitely didn’t mean to fluster you the first time it happened, it just… happened. you both had gotten test results back from a class, and you got a higher score than him. as a result, he kissed your forehead and said “well done.” what he didn’t expect was for your face to go redder than a rose.

when you told him that you’re easily flustered, he smiled, and said “ah, alright…” in a rather teasing tone, and with that—you knew you were in for it. he won’t go overboard, of course. he wants to know your boundaries before he does anything.

teasing or not, he loves to wrap an arm around your waist, pulling you close to him. of course, this turns you into a flustered mess, covering your face while all he can do is laugh softly, just how could one person be so cute?

he also compliments you a lot, from how you look that day to the smallest of tasks you completed. they’re constant, to the point where you’re hiding your face in his chest while a muffled whine of “akito..!” came from you, he laughed and patted your back. “alright, alright..” he loves you so much.

# toya.

toya is rather dense, so he can’t tell when he flusters you. the first time it happened, you two were on a date. when you had arrived, his eyes lit up at your appearance; “you look very nice, [name].” but his soft smile turned into a look of confusion when your face went red and you turned away.

after you tell him, he looked at you no different than he always did; a soft, gentle gaze. “mh.. alright.” but he never really realizes that what he’s doing flusters you.

he enjoys holding onto you, an arm around your waist or his hand locked with yours, it only comes to him after you two arrive at your destination with your face heating up. he smiles apologetically; “ah, sorry, [name].” but you look at him, “don’t be! it’s just how i am.”

he also compliments you frequently, wether it be how you present yourself or how good you are at the things you enjoy doing, but too many of these compliments and your face is on fire. you cling to him, “toya, please.. i appreciate your words but i feel like i’m about to explode!” which only results in a light chuckle from him.

# tsukasa.

another one who doesn’t realize what his actions do to you, tsukasa could look at you in a certain way and your face would turn red. he’s loud and carefree, he would shout his love for you to the world if he could!

when you tell him you’re easily flustered, he nods. “alright! thank you for telling me, [name]!” but like toya he doesn’t realize what he’s doing makes your face heat up.

he’s very touchy… an arm around your waist or shoulder, or a hand on your arm, he loves to be in contact with you! he only laughs his loud, outwardly laugh when you grip onto him with a red face.

always complimenting you. always. you could pick up a pencil that dropped and he would say “good job!!” but really he loves complimenting you, and only smiles when he knows that his efforts to make you smile, even though you look redder than the cover of one of his performance scripts, payed off.

# rui.

RUN AWAY WHILE YOU STILL CAN he will not let you live this down. as soon as he notices the red rising to your face, he smirks. “oh? are you flustered?” and only chuckles when you turn away from him.

theres no need to tell him, he found out long ago. rui being rui he will constantly tease you, saying how pretty/handsome you look and that you might just be the most beautiful person in the world! of course, if you become uncomfortable with his teasing he will stop.

always touching you, or kissing you, he loves both! and as much as you whine to him about how he’s gonna make you burst with embarrassment, he knows you love it too. “but how can i resist when your reactions are so cute?”

god, can you even remember a day where he didn’t compliment you? daily compliments are a thing with him, and he somehow always has a new one everyday. he squeezes you tightly when you muffle his name into his chest and laughs, kissing the top of your head.

cuddles with akito are warm, but they’re still nice. not that you mind, considering he’s your boyfriend and all. his 50 layers of so called ‘drip’ may have you overheating, but you’re not really complaining, especially when he’s not letting you escape from his arms anytime soon. maybe dying of a heat stroke while cuddling him is the best way to go. besides, there’s no place you rather be.

cuddles with akito are frequent. maybe a bit too frequent. even after a long day of practicing or after a bad day, nothing is more comforting than being held in his arms. even when you’re sick, this boy finds every excuse possible to hold you. and as much as he’d rather die than to say it out loud, it’s obvious he loves cuddling with you.

cuddles with akito are always inescapable. his grip on you is always so strong, like he never wants to let go. he holds you close and tight and will not loosen his embrace no matter how much you squirm or how loudly you protest. even if you shift a little bit, he pulls you even closer to him. he’s practically crushing you with his grip. once you’re in his arms, there’s literally no escape.

cuddles with tsukasa are chattery. he rambles to you about his day while he holds you, but somehow he manages to keep his volume low so it doesn’t bother you that much. but, if you wanted peace, he’ll shut up right away, and only focus on holding you.

cuddles with tsukasa are unexpectedly relaxing. when he does stop talking, he can be surprisingly tender. hell often rub your back in circular motions while resting his head on top of yours. you can feel his chin digging in your head though.

cuddles with tsukasa are playful. when you both can’t sleep, he tickles you most of the time. this can possibly lead to many situations such as ‘accidentally’ kicking him off the bed.

funny thing is i saw twice in new jersey so this reminded me of him lmao(i almost died trying to leave the concert.)

coffee’s biggest fan

cuddles with toya are comforting. most of the time, when you’re fast asleep, he will trace shapes on your back. his hand softly strokes your hair while the other rests on your waist. he holds you like his life depended on it.

cuddles with toya are quiet. not even a word comes out of him. but of course if you talked, he’ll respond. unless if he’s really tired, it would just be short and quiet responses coming from him. he’ll stay up the whole night while cuddling you if it meant talking to you more.

cuddles with toya are sweet. he never goes to sleep without assuring you that he loves you, and always makes sure that you’re asleep before he does so. he’s a real gentleman; he holds you gently to his chest and never lets go—just your presence makes him feel better and fall asleep faster.

vegetables suck!

cuddles with rui are gentle and intimate. rui loves being close to you, and wraps himself around you tightly. he whispered sweet nothings in your ear and nuzzles your neck, taking small breaths and sighing in contentment.

cuddles with rui are heart-warming. the way he holds you in his arms, the softness of his skin and hair, and the peaceful expression on his face is intoxicating. it’s a moment where all stress of life melts away, and you can be in the moment for a while.

cuddles with rui are soothing. his presence is already a comfort itself, but when he hums while cuddling it just amplified the peace and warmth of his embrace. it feels like a lullaby that will send you to sleep immediately,. but with the gentle rythym with his voice, you don’t want to fall asleep. you just want to be with him.

It’s Halloween! You’re supposed to go terrorize some people around the streets! Where is he?!

You sigh and was about to go knock on his home do—

“Well hello there—.”

Heart racing with surprise and adrenaline, you spin and punch the person right in their face. Looking down you can wonder who it was until

You see your boyfriend knocked out on the floor

“Oh my god! Akito?! Great mummy outfit but what the hell!?”

“Sorry…didn’t…expect to get knocked…down…by my own significant other…”

Rolling your eyes, you help him up and he leans on you. You’re worried for a second before he leans in and kisses your cheek smugly

His costume bandages might cover half his face, save his eye but you can see the half sober expression that clearly shows him being smug

You blush and groan before hauling his ass inside the house to get a bag of ice. Scaring people can wait for a few minutes.

“I’m doing this cause I feel bad for punching you.”

“Nuh-uhh…’ou looooveeee meee~”

“…Are you sure you wanna go with me scaring people? Are you concussed?”

Your soft spoken and kind hearted boyfriend got…lost. In a festival. That was at the park

He usually isn’t around too many people so you go look where there’s a rarely any people at the edge of the park border

You laugh and nod. “Why yes I did! You’re the only person who can get lost in the park or something silly.”

The dual haired man smiled at your laugh and kissed your head

“I saw a stall game that had some keychains. Should we get ones for each other?”

“Yes! Of course!”

You both walk back to the festival.

And of course..you’re holding his gloves hand tightly. Who knows if you’ll lose him again?!

Long hair? Tsukasa? No way! You couldn’t believe it!

His eyes widened and he huffed in pride and excitement

“Haha! Well, it is expected as a star like me! You look amazing as well!”

He strikes a pose and you laugh at him. He holds your hand and then the door for you before walking out

While he says he expected the compliment, you can see how his face is glowing with delight and excitement

“Let us collect as much candy as we can! I want to bring some back for our friends and pass some out next time there’s kids at our next show!”

“Can’t wait Tsukasa.” And he sees your bright grin

He can’t help but kiss you on your forehead and laugh

Rui Kamishiro

You hummed as you waited on the bench where your boyfriend told you to meet up at

Holding a basket in your hand, you waited for him as you mindlessly swiped through your phone. Ooh! A new GUMI song! Better listen to it later.

Then, a cape sheet enveloped your face and you would be shocked but Rui has done this too many times already

“If you say boo, we’re breaking up.”

“Uh…uh…surprise?”

Peeking out from the red cape you shot a smile at Rui

“Wow! Sorcerer!”

He sat besides you and showed the outfit off

You brushed your hands across the fine details as he explained how he made it

“I bought some lower quality thread to embroider this part and higher quality towards this part to make it look similar but something is off, just like a sorcerer! Confusing isn’t it my dear~?”

You nod. “Confusing but, I love it!”

He gave a grin and adjusted his glasses

Brushing strands of his hair off to the side, you’re met with a kiss to your hand

“You look quite lovely as well my dear! Tell me about your costume!”

He held your hand and stood up with you, walking and talking while going to trick or treat.

♡ MISSING TRUE FEELINGS - Akito Shinonome, Toya Aoyagi, Tsukasa Tenma, Rui Kamishiro and Kanade Yoisaki x Reader

Akito:

The concepts of the Sekai and true feelings were honestly still very confusing to Akito, but he's happy that him and VBS are all working and growing together

The concept of true feelings was confusing to him, but he always liked to discuss the topic with you. You seemed to know a lot more than he did, for whatever reason

What you never revealed was that you've been searching for your true feelings for years now, and finding someone who has so soon was...more than disheartening

You disappeared for a few days, and Akito grows immensely worried. Sure, he had a crush on you, but he really was worried for your well-being

He went over to your house, having been there multiple times, and called your name. When he got no answer, he went to your room, and his heart sunk

He could see you, on your computer, breaking down in your Sekai. He was panicking, immediately looking for a way in to reach you

The moment he reaches you in your Sekai, he pulls you into a hug. You're obviously startled, but he doesn't care, simply holding you close

"Look, I don't know what's happening, but I'm here for you, alright?" He looks you in the eyes, his hands resting on your shoulders, "I'm here through it all for you." And even if you still didn't know your true feelings, his support got you through <3

Toya:

When it comes Sekais, Toya doesn't really think hard about how they work. He mostly just goes there with his group, and works with them all through their true feelings

He's proud of VBS and himself for working through their true feelings, and he likes to talk about them with you. You were nice company, and you never seemed to mind

You did mind though, because you were someone who had been trying to figure your true feelings out for years. His success helped to highlight your own failure

You had disappeared for a few days, and Toya was more than concerned about it. He knew that he had to go see you, he didn't know what could've happened to you

He texted to let you know he was coming over, but you didn't even see the text by the time he got there. He looked around, immediately going to your room

The sight of you on your laptop, presumably in your Sekai breaking down, broke his heart. He looked around for a way to get to you before it was too late

The moment he entered your Sekai, he called your name to get your attention. He knew you were shocked, but he stood before you, itching to reach out for you

"You don't have to go through this alone." His voice was quiet, a new noise among your Sekai, "I found my true feelings, right? I'll try my best to help you find yours." His determination helped to inspire you. Maybe you really could find them after all <3

Tsukasa:

Considering that the Wonderland Sekai was made from his own true feelings, Tsukasa has learned quite a bit about true feelings and Sekais

Besides the other members of Wonderlanders, he really enjoys your company! He rambles about finding his true feelings to you because he's proud

Although you're also proud of him, you've been hiding the fact that you've been looking for your true feelings for years. You felt like you would never find them

Tsukasa notices your disappearance almost immediately, and rushes to ask around about you. You were his close friend, his crush, he was so worried about you

He loudly announced his presence when he entered your home, but when he received no answer, he went to your room. He was in for a shock, to say the least.

There you were, in your own Sekai, breaking down. He could see you through the screen, and immediately moved to find a way to get to you

When he reaches your Sekai, he immediately calls your name in the most worried tone, sitting in front of you and grabbing your hands tightly

"My co-star, what happened?" He listens if you tell him, he leaves you alone if you don't. Either way, he squeezes your hands in his, smiling at you, "You should know that I'm always here for you! I always will be." He's determined to be the star you need <3

Rui:

Rui is a curious soul, so he's always trying to find out as much as he can about Sekais and true feelings. He always craves to learn more and more

You were someone who always allowed him to indulge in his curiosities on Sekais and true feelings, but whenever he asked you on why you know so much, you dodged it

Truth was, you had been searching for your true feelings for years. While you liked being able to talk him through his, you felt very upset that you hadn't found yours

As someone who's pulled the disappearance act before, Rui knows to immediately be worried and look for you. He's been there for sure, he'll help you out

He goes over to your house, and immediately notices the absence of your presence. He goes to your room, looking around for any signs of you

He finds you then on your computer screen, breaking down all by yourself in your Sekai. It reminds him of himself, and he knows he has to reach you soon

"I can't say I know why you haven't found your true feelings yet, but I know what it's like to be alone." He looks you straight in the eyes, "You won't be alone through this anymore." He's so certain in his resolve that it helps you to believe him <3

He manages to get into your Sekai, and he doesn't say a word, sitting by your side and wrapping an arm around your shoulders. He leads you to rest your head on him

Kanade:

Seeing as Niigo's Sekai is made from Mafuyu's feelings, Kanade is more than used to the concept of helping someone find their true feelings.

She's always looking for people to save, people to help, and she met you through these searches. She always had the feeling that you were hiding something from her...

And hiding you were, because you had been searching for your true feelings for years, by this point. You had felt like Mafuyu was closer to finding them than you'd ever been

You disappeared for a couple days, and Kanade was already getting deja vu. She went through the same with Mafuyu, and she already knew she needed to save you

For once, she left her house in favor of going to yours, unable to shake off the feelings of uneasiness as she entered your room

Her gaze went to your computer, and she felt her need to save you grow more intense as she saw you in the middle of your Sekai, crying your heart out

She knew the ways to enter the Sekai, and she was quick to make her way to you, sitting just across from you. She didn't touch you, not yet anyway

"...I'll save you too." You looked up at her in confusion, only to meet her determined gaze, "You haven't found your true feelings, right?...I'll help you. I promise I will." You're another person that Kanade wishes to help save, and she'll do everything she can <3

a/n - i planned on working on this yesterday, and then i experienced an Unforeseen Event and now it's today. enjoy <3

At first, you two will definitely butt heads

Your similar personalities don't... mesh well, shall we say

It's not uncommon to see the two of you arguing over something pretty small either

But something's that's true for both of you is that you're total softies at heart

Even if you (lightly) mock Akito for his fear of dogs, you're still quick to take his hand and lead him away if you see one approaching

And if one of Akito's jabs at you cuts a little too deep, he quickly drops it and apologises

The two of you can definitely be tough on each other, but at the end of the day, you do really care about each other.

"...You know, you remind me of someone that I know." "Eh? Really?! Who?!" "Actually, never mind..."

Toya is very indifferent to your general rudeness and smugness

You being blunt is just how you are and he's fully accepted it

Plus, it's pretty hard to be rude to him in general, considering that he usually takes things you say literally

He's also not at all surprised whenever you start being kind to him

Maybe, Toya just knew you weren't the rude, smug person you portrayed yourself as

He understands you, in a way. I think he took one look at you and he instantly knew what kind of person you were

(Bonus points if your first meeting was you doing something sweet for someone and then immediately getting embarrassed that Toya saw it.)

Like Akito, the two of you will definitely argue, except this time it's over even more inconsequential things

You've discovered it's very easy to rile him up, and you take advantage of it to mess with him

"Oh no, Tsukasa, watch out! There's a spider on your shoulder!" "THERE'S A WHAT?! GET IT OFF GET IT OFF GET IT OFF-! Wait, you're laughing!! You're lying, aren't you?!?!"

(You weren't actually lying, his reactions are just too funny. But he knocked it off while he was panicking, so you decide not to correct him.)

He just doesn't understand you. He thinks you're strange, which is a lot coming from him

His confusion only grows whenever you do something kind for him

Which is then immediately replaced by him getting emotional over you being kind to him

...Which involves a surprising amount of tears, you've come to realise.

Rui just thinks you're really funny

Neither of you are sure why he's so fascinated by you, but you've both accepted it

Any attempts to rile him up usually just get turned back on you somehow, so you've just given up trying to mess with him

He's usually never fazed by any rude jabs you make at him either

In a way, you both want to study each other under a microscope

Any genuine acts of kindness from you will actually shock Rui, though

He didn't expect you to be so sweet to him, after all. But he really appreciates it <3

...He might tease you about it later, though. All in good fun, of course.

If youre a good housewife, then expect lots of praise everytime you do everything!

Youre cooking? It smells so good!

You finished cleaning? I haven't spotted any dust in 48 hours! Good job!

He'll sing for you, dance for you, and even though it brings bad memories, just for you, he'll play the piano or violin if you ask

He'll especially do that if he knows you like either or and has had a bad day

He's happy when you're happy, and there's nothing better than to see you happy because of him

90% of the time, he wakes up first

Will definitely make himself coffee and make you whatever morning drink you like

If you have a super specific starbucks or just coffee order in general, he will not fail to bring you the exact coffee you requested

If you ever cooked him squid, he would probably just stare at it, darting his eyes between you and the squid

He was so confused because he thought that you already new he didn't like squid

He'll probably start a conversation and try to maneuver his way into saying how he doesn't like squid

If you're obviously ignoring it(probably just to mess with him), well that's too bad

He'll just have to suck it up and eat it

If he's ever feeling a bit clingy, then he'll politely ask to cuddle, and then hold you so tight you feel like you're suffocating/hj

Bro hogs the blanket and doesn't have an ounce of shame

Now if you are just a little good at cooking/baking, he will 'subtly'(not so subtly) ask you to make pancakes or cheesecake

Once you do make it, he'll eat them with ✨delight✨, but when you ask him how it is he'll just be like

If you tease him about how his mouth absolutely waters whenever he sees you cooking, he will deny it and might have to kiss you to shut you up

But then he just ends up flustering himself

If you are the sensitive type and get offended, he'll feel bad and tell you it tastes excellent

You probably wake up before him 90% of the time

And 90% of the time that happens, he'll hold onto you with his death grip for at least 15 minutes before releasing you, just to spite you. And also because he enjoys cuddles and doesn't want you to leave

If you put carrots in his food

He will literally just stare at you

His eyes say everything

He doesn't say it, but his eyes say, "You know what you did."

He then will take his chopsticks, take the carrots and plop them into your bowl, all while maintaining eye contact

Will sing for you if you want and gets flustered when you compliment him

synopsis: akito tries to apologize to you, his dear deaf friend, after a miscommunication.

"dialogues in italics" means it's communication through sign language. 1.6k wc

akito thought you were a distraction. not because of your disability—hell no, he wasn’t that type of person—, but because you reminded him of himself. you, who appeared out of a sudden, who was so different yet so identical to the ginger; you were a distraction to him. oh, and because he liked you too.

he screamed dramatically, hands pulling his hair as he stared at the ‘sign language for beginners’ book. school was already hard enough, but this? this was unnecessarily complicated! maybe he was doing something wrong… or maybe it was because his head was constantly replaying the moment you ‘yelled’ at him. anger wasn't the typical color that akito would paint on his mind when thinking of you. he'd paint on his mind soft, warm colors. because that's all you made him feel.

although akito was a very nice person, he could also be extremely stubborn. it was stupid. it was very stupid. he had loved many people but that never stopped him from following his dream. he felt… another type of love when it came to you. the type that made his stomach and heart hurt whenever you weren’t around. the type that would steal his breath whenever you were around.

you were a simple person. a simple person to the world, at least. in fact, some people saw you as kohane’s shadow since you were her cousin (and because she was the only one out of the vbs members who knew sign language; you used a notebook and pen to communicate with them). for the ginger, your beauty as a person was indescribable. no poem or song ever created could translate the feelings he felt upon laying his eyes on you for the first time.

he closed the textbook and laid his hands flat on the desk table so they could rest from practicing sign language. one second passed, two seconds passed. five minutes passed.

“ugh. fuck this shit.”

akito admired you. despite being deaf, you showed a really big passion for music. everytime someone sang at weekend garage you were there, looking at the singer with hearts and stars in your eyes. you’d sit close to the speakers too, in order to feel the vibrations from the music. you’d even try to help the vbs members with songwriting—that’s how akito found out how powerful and beautiful your feelings on paper were.

not only that, but you were the one who was always right there for him. sure, the others were there too, but he found himself feeling safe and sound around the mix of your silence and sympathy. you'd either draw something or write some nice words for him whenever he felt insecure about himself. he admired you. he felt grateful for you. he loved you.

he hated those feelings. he couldn't even focus on music the same way as before. you were a distraction to him. only him, no one else agreed with the boy. you were someone so different yet so similar.

that is also how the argument between you both started. a miscommunication. you found out how the boy thought you were a distraction and you assumed it was because of your disability. you felt hurt and insecure and started screaming at akito in sign language. he was already learning it by himself to surprise you, but you did the hand gestures so fast and with so much anger that he barely understood anything. it was nothing but a miscommunication. akito was mad too, of course. however, he decided to practice sign language even more, just so he could apologize.

his heart started beating fast and his stomach felt like it was being squeezed. was it anxiety? was it hunger? was it anger towards an for texting in the group chat, earlier in that morning, as a joke, about how you couldn’t watch them practice on the weekend because you distracted akito? probably. akito knew his friend didn’t meant any harm, they had always been like that in the presence of each other. but adding you to the joke was unnecessary.

“shut up!” his sister, ena, screamed from her bedroom when he screamed dramatically again.

“you shut up!” there was no point in arguing with one more person but the words came out of his mouth anyway. he scratched his head, thinking of what to do now. boredom was consuming him slowly.

he thought and thought but no idea came. how to think when so many things were on his mind? it felt like white noise to his eardrums.

he needed to clear his mind.

the fresh air of the night kissed his skin, strands of orange hair danced at the same rhythm as the leaves of the trees. his legs took over him. one of his hands was peeling the skin of his lips.

he arrived to weekend garage. dim, yellow lights greeted him as he opened the doors. there was music, someone was singing. he seated by an empty table close to the doors. akito didn't want to be recognized by anyone, especially ken or an. he wanted enjoy the moment and distract himself from his thoughts. it had been a long day.

a few minutes passed and akito started feeling uncomfortable. the urge to sing had awakened inside his veins, making his blood thicker and hotter. but he knew he wasn't mentally prepared that day.

yeah, no, going here wasn't a good idea.

akito was making his way towards the exit when he bumped into someone.

“sorry.” he apologized to the stranger, tone of voice dry. it was then he noticed he bumped into you. “y/n…” eyes wide opened as akito looked at your surprised face—said surprised face that was turning into an angry one. “wait, y/n!” the ginger tried to chase after you but you were too fast. he stood on the outside, eyes watching you run away from him. “fuck…” the night’s air no longer seemed to be kissing him; it was tickling him and making his skin itchy. the music inside the establishment was like it was mocking him.

“akito?” the boy recognized his friend’s voice in a second. an.

“oh. it’s you.”

“i see. i didn’t think my stupid joke could put your friendship in risk.”

“well, it did,” he said. akito noticed the sad facial expression an did and bumped his shoulder against hers lightly. “hey, don’t worry. i’m not mad at you anymore,” he reassured her. “i’ll fix this.”

a smile was back on an’s face. “i want to help!”

“there’s no need.”

“yes there is! without me you’d be nothing!”

“without you this wouldn’t have happened!”

but an was too stubborn and helped akito anyway. he just wasn’t expecting the plan to trick you into going to the roof where he would be waiting for you. convincing them of talking to you won’t work. trust me, is what she told him. whatever. as long it worked.

the boy felt hurt when you tried to leave from his sight again, but this time he convinced you to stay.

the sun in the sky was hot, the air was dry. akito didn’t know if the sweat beginning to form on the back of his neck was due to the weather or due to you being there, looking at him with uninterested eyes.

“so?” you wrote in your notebook. the pen was held by you with a lot of strength, but it still felt like it was almost slipping from your hands due to them being moist. “why are we here? what do you want?” in the few months akito knew you, he never saw you like that. so defensive, so confused. “why am i a distraction to you?”

the last question made the boy feel even more guilty. he ignored how you offered him the pen in order to write what he wanted to say, choosing to speak in sign language. “you were never a distraction to me. i admire you too much to ever think of you like that.”

your eyes widened in surprise seeing the hand gestures. it was not everyday you encountered someone who knew sign language (besides the people in your family).

“you got the wrong idea. an can be an idiot sometimes,” he looked at you, making sure his hand gestures were right. your focus on him was enough to tell him he was going well. “but she didn’t mean any harm. when she texted on the group chat saying you distract me, she meant…”

“she meant?”

“the reality is that you remind me of myself. from your passion to music to your determination, i admire you so much to the point you distract me. you’re all i think about. you’re the air i want to breathe.” he paused for a few seconds, his hands getting tired. “it was never because of your disability and i respect you too much to insult you in any way. why would i even do that?”

you looked at him with shining eyes. “really?”

he nodded. “i want to spend my everydays with you.”

akito waited for your answer, heart beating so fast it shook his eardrums. he gulped; it was the first time your silence felt uncomfortable to him. meanwhile, light in your eyes could be seen due to akito's words. you were no longer angry. you felt bad for thinking that one of your closest friends could ever betray you.

akito saw you moving towards him, just so you could wrap your arms gently around his torso. he wasn't much of hugs, but for you he'd do anything. he hugged you back, eyes closed as he listened to the sounds of the world around you both.

perhaps he could use sign language to confess to you too.

he’s so flustered seeing all the posters and plushies of himself situated around the room

he can’t stop smiling when you enthusiastically take him by the arm to give an impromptu room tour

like he tries to act all calm and indifferent but inside he’s just whwhsnjhdwkh

he reluctantly admits the plushies are cute, but when you offer him one, he awkwardly refuses

and then you go to put it back and he’s like “hey, wait, I was joking!” and wrestles it from your grip

♪ "You really went all out, huh?" he frowns, but there's a playful glint in his eyes. Deep down, he's touched that you've dedicated your room to him.

He tries to keep up the act, shooting you a sidelong glance with a half-smile, but it's evident that he's struggling to keep his composure. His cheeks tint with a subtle shade of pink, and he's fighting to suppress the grin threatening to break free. It's a strange mix of embarrassment and flattery, seeing how much you appreciate him.

“Come on, Aki, you know you love this!” you say.

Finally, he sighs, the corners of his lips betraying a genuine smile.

"Alright, alright, you win. But only because it's you," he admits, his eyes softening. "I never thought my face would end up plastered all over someone's room. You really know how to catch a guy off guard."

You grin.

"But," he continues, a mischievous glint in his eyes, "I know a thing or two about catching someone off guard too."

Before you can respond, he closes the gap between you, his lips meeting yours in a playful yet sweet kiss. As he pulls away, there's a teasing smile on his face.

after what seems like eternity of silence he just goes AHSAHSJAKAK (the typical tsukasa scream yk)

IMMEDIATELY gives you a big hug; he matches your energy so well

if there's a poster with him in it, then he'll love standing in front of it and striking poses for your amusement

sits on your bed and pretends to be one of the plushies just to hear your cute laugh

“My eyes have been blessed by the sight of this glorious shrine! I am unworthy of such devotion, and yet, here it is!" Tsukasa dramatically threw himself onto the plushie-covered bed, hand over his heart.

"Tsukasa, you're being a bit—"

"Shh! This is my moment of gratitude!" He interrupted, eyes sparkling with mock sincerity.

"Okay, I'm listening," you said with an amused smile.

He clasped his hands together, looking up at the ceiling as if addressing the merchandise gods. "Thank you, [name], for bestowing upon me this sanctuary of Tsukasa. I shall carry the weight of this honor with the grace of a thousand swans and the dignity of a soaring eagle. May the Tsukasa vibes forever resonate in this hallowed space!"

You burst into a fit of giggles, unable to contain it any longer. Tsukasa, satisfied with his grand thank-you speech, looked at you while beaming.

As the laughter subsided, Tsukasa gently cupped your face, his fingers tender against your skin. He leaned in, closing the gap between you with a soft, lingering kiss.

“Thank you so much, [name]!”

he takes in the room for a few moments before breathing out a soft “wow”

it srsly means SO much to him when his s/o is his biggest fan

he reaches out to touch some of the items, almost as if to confirm that it's real.

Eventually finding his words, Toya turns to you with a soft expression and says, "Thank you. This... means a lot to me."

You smile cheerfully.

"You didn't have to go through all this trouble for me," he says softly.

You shake your head and pull him into a hug. Toya hesitates for a moment before returning the hug, a genuine warmth in his embrace.

"You're worth every bit of trouble," you assure him, the sincerity in your voice echoing your unwavering support. "Seeing you happy and appreciating this makes it all worthwhile.

As you hold each other, he speaks, his voice muffled against your shoulder, "I just... never expected someone to believe in me this much. It's a bit overwhelming, you know? But in a good way. …I love you."

Shinonome Akito doesn't and hasn't loved.

He adores and loves his mother of course, and she reciprocates full heartedly. Him and Ena may constantly argue but they both know very well that they'd die for each other. But in an romantic context he's absolutely repulsed.

Akito doesn't want it. Music is above everything and everyone. Relationships can't compare to the fleeting moments of the spotlight during a show—nor the exhilarating satisfaction of noticing improvement after excruciating hours of practice.

It's such an ugly concept too. His father only hurts his sister, almost singlehandedly ruining her art career and being the sole reason she can't believe in herself anymore— all while justifying his actions with the excuse of love.

Akito doesn't want love either. The only enticing desire that ever came to visit him were self improvement. It's a satisfactory way of living. Unlike others he never suffered from pining for another nor struggling to pick up the pieces of his own heart— it can't happen if he doesn't open it up to anyone at all.

It was futile thought, no matter how much he tried to follow that philosophy, or how long he's been able to abide by it— because right next to him lies the disruption in his peace.

Sunlight bleeds through the curtains, illuminating your sleeping expression, Akito observes the gentle rise of your chest, entranced with your gentle breathing.

Romance is stupid. So is love, trivial and useless, if it hurt his family then why should he bother luxuriating in it. It's foolish, an utter waste of time, something only an idiot would bother pursuing.

Yet he finds himself here, remaining in bed just to stare at someone, despite the fatigue itching behind his eyes.

Even with your hair in a mess and your face lazily squished against a pillow, it's one of the most ethereal sights he's ever laid his eyes on. A sight only for him. Akito always adores how you look no matter what, but something about seeing you at full peace makes him smile a bit harder.

He hated it, loathed how you were the bane of his existence, the fault in his once flawless discipline. Akito always prioritises practice. He doesn't spend money unless it was for the sake of his performances. And he abides his strict sleep schedule constantly.

But here he is, hours past the time he usually wakes up, admiring the person he's probably spent almost tens of thousands of yen on, even if there's a bit of drool accumulating on their bottom lip.

Akito can go on about how much he hates you. Ever since you stepped into his life, he found himself skipping practice to hang out with you. Prize money went to buying you your favourite books, and the time reserved for picking out song lists went to binging all of your show recommendations. One of his solo shows were entirely forgot by him; all because he felt the urge to blurt out his feelings for you.

You're a flaw. A weakness. A falter in what he calls control.

Initially, he thought he lost it. With how he was constantly reminded of his infinite adoration for you, it didn't take long to accept.

Every detail of you is imprinted in his mind. Your rambles sooth his stress; you could be complaining about someone and it'd still be music to his ears. The way you express yourself is so sweet to him, as smooth as honey and saccharine like the summer air. Your touch is warm, a comforting spring night that flushes his face red every single time.

Being loved was just as addictive. No one's ever bought him flowers, or written him poetry or little love notes during class. He'd never kissed someone until you, nor laughed so hard until he gasped for air.

Through half lidded eyes he notices movement in your body, with a yawn your arms reach out to Akito, though not quite enough to pull him closer. He obliges to your motions, muscular arms wrapping around you as he plants a kiss on your forehead.

"Mornin'."

You respond with incoherent murmurs, burying your face into his warm chest, pressing against his now racing heartbeat. He stifles a laugh after seeing your reaction, patting your head.

A glimpse at the time and he knows he should probably go home soon. His mum must be worried after he stormed out of the house late at night, almost breaking down from hearing another argument invade the comfort of his room.

"I need to go." Raspy and careful, he whispers into your ear. "I'll see you at school." His movements halt as you cling onto his wrist.

"Stay. Please."

As if second nature Akito complies. His body obeys before he can even process your words mentally, returning to your initial position with him. He takes it as an opportunity to throw your blanket back onto you.

"Are you sure...? Didn't you have a morning shift today?"

"I wanna stay here with you."

And I would stay here with you forever, if I could. "I'll be here for as long as you'd like then." Another kiss. This time on your cheek.

"Can't go to work anyways." He asks why, mumbling with his face against your neck. "'m sick."

Akito withdraws. "Really?" Urgency wards off lethargy. Was he out of it? He didn't notice you cough or sneeze, and your breathing seemed stable too.

You nod, wearily. "Yeah. Lovesick." Akito flicks your forehead, almost instantaneously.

He ignores your complaints. "Idiot. Don't worry me again." He scolds you as if a smile wasn't tugging at his lips. "C'mon, sleep more. We stayed up late last night."

"Worry about yourself more. You literally carried me to my room because I fell asleep on the couch."

He shrugs it off. "You're not heavy."

In return, you scoff. "Still would've been more convenient to sleep there."

"You say that as if I wouldn't shoulder the weight of the world for your sake." His lithe finger poke your cheek. "One more hour. Sleep just that and I'll buy you lunch later."

"As if you ever let me pay."

Akito shrugs again, he'd do anything for you, that included making sure your wallet was never empty. His father was rich, might as well make the most of it even if he loathes him. "Bookstore as well, then."

You give in, surrendering to his deal. "Fine. Since you're so insistent."

he doesn’t mind that you’re clingy, he would never admit it, but akito finds it adorable. if you’re more expressive with it, he’ll let you cling to his arm or any part of his body if you ask. if you’re more shy, all it takes is a glance to his arm (or wherever you’d prefer) then back to his face, and he knows what you want <3.

he always feels bad when he has to detach from you, to practice or go to class — but this doesn’t stop him from wrapping his arms around you in a hug before he leaves, kissing your forehead and bidding you goodbye. (though very flustered after what he just did).

he isn’t used to having his hair played with, but he loves it! the first time you did it, he melted into your touch. it’s very cute, and sometimes, he subtly leads your hands there himself. <3

he finds your clinginess absolutely adorable, and doesn’t mind one bit! though, you’ll have to give him a little bit to get used to it, as rui isn’t used to so much affection. he’ll gladly let you cling to his arm or wrap your arms around him, wether you ask or not. <3

you playing with his hair is a huge stress reliever to him, believe it or not. he loves when you wrap a strand of his hair around your finger, letting it go after a moment as if you were curling it. he sometimes returns this act, gently taking a strand of your hair in his hands and kissing it <3.

then , whispering an " i hope this is okay . " he quietly sits down next to you , and gently pushes your head into his chest , resting his head on yours .

as he rubs your back up and down , he awkwardly mutters " you can tell me about your day later . for now , just - . . stay here with me . "

depending on if you're crying or not , akito will rock you back and forth , scared of hurting you any more .

soon after , he will make you something small , like a sandwich , and a glass of orange juice to atleast put something in your belly .

toya always gets a little flustered, but he cherishes every bit of your touches.

he is completely head over heels for you, it's no wonder he feels giddy whenever you give him tight hugs or when you cling onto him.

every time, you can see a little blush creeping on his cheeks while he looks at you like you're his whole world.

however, he is a little awkward himself. he doesn't really know how to be physically affectionate with you - where it would be best to place his hands, for example (and he'll try to apologize for it </3). but he's trying his best, and that's enough for you for now.

he can't deny he enjoys being held by you while you play with his hair strands though.

sometimes, he'll be reluctant to ask you for cuddles fearing he'd bother you or that it'd be awkward, but you reassure him every time and you tell him it's alright.

toya tries to repay you by your affection with acts of service and words of affirmation, hoping to remind you that, even if he isn't as touchy as you are, he still loves and enjoys every moment he spends with you.

akito likes it a lot, even if he doesn't really reciprocate the actions as much.

in the first weeks of your relationship, PDA really wasn't his kind of thing, so the one who took the initiative when it came to physical affection was you.

however, he started getting used to it and growing more comfortable eventually - taking the initiative himself. it wasn't unusual to feel an arm sliding around your waist as you walk or a hand on your thigh when you take the subway. and you were ecstatic to see him acting like that.

he likes it when your fingers intertwine with his as you chat away, or even when you're clinging to his arm when you look at him, enamored. he finds it cute.

if you ever go overboard with your clinginess, he'll make sure to tell you trying to not possibly sounding harsh, as he's aware of how much you enjoy physical affection.

akito himself is somewhat clingy as well, to some degree. during late night and early mornings, he'll always keep arms around your waist and his face nuzzled in the crook of your neck.

at the same time, he's another one that likes to rest his head on your chest and let you run your hand through his hair - cuddles are a must when you're going to sleep.

sometimes you can't help but wonder - how did you get so lucky with a guy like him?
