Emu is #1 at helping the others in WxS feel less ashamed or self-concious about their bodies it's unreal.

Tsukasa's feeling like his freckles make him look less perfect? Nn-nn, they're constellations, fit for a star! She thinks her hair looks bad when she hasn't straightened it? Nene's having bad thoughts about her weight? It's part of what makes him Nene, just like his fluffy-fluffy hair and cute clothes, it doesn't make him any less beautiful! She's worried her facial expressions are too stiff? Anyone who thinks that is silly, they just need to look a little closer, Nene's emotions are obvious if you just get to know him! Her hair isn't messy like she worries it is sometimes, it's so soft and fluffy and beautiful!

Rui's feeling self-conscious of his old self-harm scars? They're just their wires, like a robot's, and they're proof that Rui's healing, something to be proud of! Even when Rui insists that he doesn't mind when people say the way he dresses and acts is weird, Emu can see that it gets to him sometimes, and she's quick to defend him from any meanies! If their dysphoria's getting bad, Emu take the opportunity to help them with a big game of dress-up! Does she wanna be more masculine today? More feminine? Both? Neither? Emu's ready to help him feel however he feels deep down that day!

Of course, this means that when Emu's having bad thoughts, the others are quick to help her feel better, even when she tries to hide that she's not feeling her best. She's having a bad dysphoria day, or people have said rude things about her stims, or her body type? They're instantly there to show their sun that she's the most beautiful and radiant acrobat to have ever tumbled into their lives <3

My thoughts on Tenma Parents!

I am the Tenma parents' number #1 defender in a way. I still think they fucked up Tsukasa, but not intentionally.

(fyi, Tsukasa is definitely a mama's boy and I don't accept criticism. Saki's on the contrary)

I think Tsukasa's parents loved both him and Saki equally, unlimitedly, and wholeheartedly. The sad reality is that life handed the entire family a shitty deck of cards. And while love is unlimited, time and attention isn't.

They try their best, they genuinely do, but it's difficult juggling their job AND an ill child AND another child.

Due to Saki's (uncontrollable!! Remember!!) condition, one of the parents has to be with her nearly at all times and the other one has to work for the additional hospital bills (since the government can't cover some surgeries or procedures. Idk how it works in Japan but)

They try to be there for Saki and Tsukasa a lot but they do notice growing concerns abt both of them.

Saki's getting quiet, nearly bursting into tears every time Tsukasa or any of them leaves the hospital room. She clings on to people a lot to the point of where it hurts.

Tsukasa's getting quiet too. He thinks they don't notice, since he's trying to act upbeat and cheery in front of Saki to cheer her up, but they can't ignore... that. Whatever is happening to him.

They both don't know what to do.

Despite their best efforts, Tsukasa was still left home alone most of his late childhood and early teens.

They don't have favourites, but after a while, they can't say they know their son anymore. They saw him grow up without them, and it's the most heartbreaking thing to not be there.

They had to miss his middle school graduation. They tried to take time off work, but neither of them got off fast enough to reach the ceremony. Both only saw him that day at the hospital.

But Tsukasa lied. Lied to Saki's face, because he didn't want to upset her.

Tsukasa's mom: "Sweetheart, we're so sorry-"

Tsukasa: "-that you had to leave the ceremony early? It's okay!"

Their parents look at him confused because the issue is that they weren't even there. But Tsukasa gave them eyes, begging them to play along.

Tsukasa's mom: "...yeah. y-yeah, work called in and we really couldn't avoid it much longer"

Tsukasa lets out a sigh of relief before nodding and smiling "really! It's okay!"

When leaving Saki's ward, his mom asked him why he lied, and he just looked at her and shook his head.

Tsukasa: "...Saki does this thing, where she blames herself for stuff she can't control. I-I don't know how I know it, but I'm sure she'll do the same if she found out you weren't there. I don't want to see her doing that."

Outside, his mom pulls him into a hug, whispering apology after apology as she holds him. He kept insisting, it's fine! Really! He's a future star, with loads of celebration to come! Who cares if they missed one?

His mom looks at him, with genuine sadness, and asks him to be honest with her. Is he upset?

She noticed him froze, before shaking his head.

Tsukasa: "Not at all, mom! I understand why you both couldn't make it"

Tsukasa's mom: "...You can understand and still be upset. You're allowed to be"

But despite her best efforts to make her son open up, he still shakes his head and tells her it's alright.

She thinks he doesn't know that she knows. She knows that he wants them to worry less about him, which made them worry more.

She learned from Saki that Tsukasa doesn't have a lot of friends. He never mentions it a lot to Saki, but every time Saki asks him if he'd be hanging out with people, he just looks at her confused.

Tsukasa: "Why would I hang out with other people when I have the most incredible sister in the world!"

When he started to open up to her again, later in the future, when everything had settled down and life was beginning to move steady, she'll learn that his classmates think he's overbearing.

He wasn't getting bullied, nor was he actually disliked. But in terms of friends? They think he's a bit too loud, too tiring to deal with. Some even think he's a bit too selfish.

She would argue about that final point with her life. Because if anything, she wishes Tsukasa thought of himself more.

They learned more about him when he was 17. They learned about his friends, his troupe, his work, and how close he's gotten towards achieving his dreams. They're so unbelievably proud of him. He's grown into such an incredible person.

They just wished they could've taken the credit.

They loved their children equally. Even when Toya was pulled into the frame and they unknowingly gained a third, they loved him all the same.

But there's a difference in loving and knowing, because their son felt far more distant to them than their daughter. And they're trying their absolute best to fix that rift before it's too late

Both Tsukasa and Saki suffered majorly in their life, both in vastly different ways. But in terms of parents, I think Tsukasa got the short end. But not intentionally, y'know? It's like. Accidental child neglect.

Gives very shy and insecure kisses , not due to the fact that he's not skilled but more because he feels like you're one of the people he's the most invested in and could therefore get most carried away with. Kisses on the cheek are his favorite because he can spend many minutes making sure he kisses you everywhere and he doesn't have to worry about leaving marks behind, but there have been times where you left lipstick marks on his cheeks.

AKITO

He has two types of kisses, the almost lazy, slow ones after classes where he doesn't show much energy other then when he's in good company, and the hard, demanding, passionate ones after a show where he will leave you gasping for air. Both have their benefits, the lazy ones take more time, therefore you can savor every little detail of him, his hums and laughter. But the post-concert ones are the ones that make you dizzy and needy for more right away.

TSUKASA

Wants every kiss to be better, more memorable then the last. He always seeks you out in the crowd, knowing you'd be somewhere at the front and blows you air kisses. Those are always for you, just for you. He makes sure that you get flustered when you're with him, he nibbles on your ear when your guard is down to get you to pay attention to him, he bites on your lip to get you to whimper, but he also kisses your hand every time it's time for him to go home.

RUI

Loves to sneak you backstage to kiss you senseless on the couch before he has to say goodbye to everyone. When you have limited time you seem more desperate for him then when he's at your place or vice versa, meaning that he can also get away with a lot more playfulness and risks by kissing and marking your neck and feeling you squirm under him. It's also more fun if you get interrupted in the middle of kissing and your lipstick is all over his smug face.

miscellaneous PJSK headcanons

Ena and Akito are adoptive siblings. Akito was adopted into the Shinonome family when they were toddlers

Nene had selective mutism when she was younger. she was only able to freely speak to her family, Rui and his parents. she overcame it throughout the years with therapy, but still occassionally has days where it's really difficult for her to talk

Kanade has albinism, which is partially why she doesn't like going outside, she's conscious that she sunburns easily

pretty much contradicted by their canon younger depictions, but the lighter blue in Toya and An's hair, pink in Saki's and Rui's turquoise streaks are all dyed

Rui can't do mental maths beyond the very simple. yes, he is really good at complicated maths, but he can only do the calculations if he can write it all out, he isn't able to keep track of all the numbers in his head (they get lost within all his ideas.) he is still shockingly quick about it, though

Shizuku is on very friendly terms with the librarian at her local library, who lets her sit in a room at the back that the rest of the public isn't able to access, so Shizuku isn't bothered by fans when she's trying to read in peace and quiet

Ena has been offered modelling jobs from companies that have seen her social media pictures but she's turned them down because she quite literally just couldn't be bothered

An and Akito did each other's piercings past midnight in An's bathroom during middle school. it involved a lot of swearing and smacking each other's hands away and hurt and risk of infection but they don't regret it

when they were very small children, Tsukasa would put Saki and Toya to sleep by reading stories to them. it was one of the rare times his parents would hear him speak so quietly

Rui is coulrophobic. yes, people regularly point out the irony of his outfits resembling those of clowns' but it's really the ones with heavy face paint that creep him out. part of the reason he knows so many secret ways of getting around PXL is because he needs to avoid seeing all of the ones performing there when he's walking around

assigning behaviors I've noticed in people to pjsk characters:

tsukasa: writes his name EVERYWHERE. his desk at school has "tsukasa" "tsukasa" "tsukasa" "tsukasa" written all over it, his notebooks too and even his classmates' notebooks (from a classmate)

shizuku: says "oh, madonna!" instead of "oh god" (from my italian grandpa)

saki: tsukasa rides a bike and saki sits on the handlebar & every time they have to stop they fall off but they just get up and go on like nothing's happened (from an old friend)

mizuki: accidentally sends "penis shaped messages" and immediately points it out (me)

ena: is so fucking done with mizuki's penis messages (my friends)

kanade: "uhh i think I'm forgetting something? oh well it probably wasn't important" hasn't drank water since yesterday (me again)

rui: extremely verbose, to the point where everyone around him thinks he's some sort of philosophical genius but in reality he's just saying dumb shit and articulating it intelligently (my italian grandpa again so sorry)

an: sends her friends "hot milfs in your area" messages pretending to be a bot because silly and immediately gets banned ( @robinoullea literally)

airi: wants to be supportive but types way too quickly ( @robinoullea trying to say "10/10")

emu: says the most deranged things in roblox chats and manages to not get censored while her friend (nene) can't even go one sentence without "########" ( @harukaisu )

nene, trying to tell tsukasa to reset his roblox avatar because he got stuck: uhhh kill yourself (me) (I'M SO SORRY)

minori: tries to download a pin and accidentally sends it to a random person and dies of embarrassment (everyone. no one is safe from Pinterest's AWFUL interface)

ichika: goes into a store. gets an ingredient. goes back home. goes back. gets an ingredient. goes back home. repeat until she's got everything to make dinner when it's already 11pm (my forgetful mom)

mafuyu: has the most DERANGED dreams I'm not even kidding ( @robinoullea when he had that one dream where he sent me a tiktok meme of Richard Watterson saying the names of popular pornstars with them flashing on screen for a second each. I've cried real tears about this btw)

kohane: has a chicken farm in minecraft but she's so attached to them that she can't kill any of them for food so they just keep reproducing and in turn the server keeps getting laggier. eventually a creeper explodes right next to it and she throws herself off a mountain (me)

haruka: uses the default pfp which is also the pfp that shows when you get blocked by someone. she also turns her phone off often (which causes messages to not get sent until it's on) so minori always panics and sends her messages to make sure she's not blocked (classmate)

akito: makes gagging noises on purpose because it makes ena gag too and get VERY annoyed and he finds it funny (classmate)

toya: unintentionally causes a lot of fights in vbs regarding what the best way to make coffee is (my whole friend group) (except me i do it on purpose)

honami: whenever someone tags her in l/n's group chat she heroically says "who calls for my help?" ( @robinoullea )

shiho: doesn't have the heart to tell honami how funny it is when she does that (not me i always make sure to mention it)

Some WxS headcanons!

Tsukasa's posture is super good due to being a pianist (and because bad posture is unbecoming of a star). It contrasts Nene and Rui's horrible shrimp posture which is caused by gaming and working on robots hunched. And you know that feeling where your back is really straight because you're excited? Emu also has good posture because of that.

Nene enjoys underground industrial music but is too nervous to go to music venues by herself. The rest of WxS accompany her and even let Nene decide their outfits! (Cue WxS pulling up to venues dressed in cybergoth fashion.)

Emu struggles with intrusive thoughts and anxiety and the rest of WxS always comfort her.

They all do their makeup together backstage and help each other with it. Rui is the makeup expert while Nene isn't super experienced. Tsukasa likes natural makeup while Rui and Emu enjoy it for art purposes rather than beautification. Nene is fine without makeup but may conceal her eyebags after gaming all night.

Tsukasa loves doing his nails and doing his friends' nails too! The rest of WxS are usually the subjects to his nail design experimentation. They all have cute matching nails, courtesy of Tsukasa. He also likes sewing costumes for them and creating clothes based on their requests.

more stupid headcanons bc there’s so much bouncing around in my head lolsies.

mizuki and airi being major shopaholics and proceeding to drag akito with them because half the time ena is still passed tf out and they need someone to hold their bags. akito will not admit that he actually enjoys such outings.

an proofreading mizuki’s essays only to wonder how the fuck mizuki is still on track to graduate because “you can’t write ‘I don’t fucking know’ in a lab report!”

VBS rocking up to the shinonome household only to find n25 in various stages of grief after watching a movie where a dog dies. (something like Hachiko that movie fucking destroyed me). states of grief include mafuyu sitting at the dining table looking relatively normal to mizuki laying on the floor with their head in their hands.

haruka having the absolute wildest compilation video titles compared to the rest of MMJ. airi’s favorite example is “haruka has vaguely questionable reactions to other idols for 7 minutes.” shizuku likes likes the “haruka holding various penguin memorabilia for 8 minutes straight!” video.

in the same vein as tsukasa rocking shiho’s shit w a door from my last post, tsukasa has crushed the fingers of at least 12 other students flinging doors open and closed. how saki has gone uninjured via tsukasa her entire life is beyond everyone around her.

honami casually striking up conversation with kanade when they see each other in public for the first time. n25 is astounded kanade is having human interaction with someone who isn’t them; l/n is concerned as to why honami is talking to a girl who looks like she’s never seen the sun.

mizuki livetweeting (or whatever sekai equivalent) mafuyu’s reaction to literally everything. “guys she’s tryin caramel ice cream for the first time” at 12:41 PM, quickly followed by “SHE HATES IT” at 12:42 PM, which is also followed by “nvm she liked it false alarm” at 12:44 PM. this is also applicable to a call or facetime.

minori once threw a pudding cup at airi so hard it left a mark for three days. she claims it was an accident; airi believes otherwise.

A quick Tsukasa doodle where he has naturally wavy hair and freckles (I forgot how to shade and render halfway so if it's wonky. Haha)

He hides it half the time, mainly because it didn't fit his star image. But once, he got sick for a couple days and Wonderhsow came to visit only to be jaw dropped, eyes wide because hello?? Did you get perms while you're wheezing and dying in bed??

Anyways Rui kisses Tsukasa's freckles every morning, Nene likes to fiddle around with Tsukasa's hair whenever he doesn't straighten it in a silent "I think your hair is really neat" message, Emu keeps listing off hairstyles and clips he could pull off both straight hair and wavy.

They all build his confidence about his natural look and at some point, it stops becoming "hey, I should straighten my hair and cover my freckles because it's not very star-like" to "hey, what kind of day do I feel like today?"

If you feel sad he’ll find whatever made you sad and punch it (figuratively... usually)

When you go to his house he tries to act normally but panders you constantly without realizing (Ena tells him off when he’s making a fuss. He gets mad and flustered)

When he sees you in the crowd during an event that he’s performing in, he’ll ask if you want to sneak into the back (nonchalantly)

He called you a princess in front of everyone once and he’ll never live it down (An and Toya bring it up everyday)

toya always gets a little flustered, but he cherishes every bit of your touches.

he is completely head over heels for you, it's no wonder he feels giddy whenever you give him tight hugs or when you cling onto him.

every time, you can see a little blush creeping on his cheeks while he looks at you like you're his whole world.

however, he is a little awkward himself. he doesn't really know how to be physically affectionate with you - where it would be best to place his hands, for example (and he'll try to apologize for it </3). but he's trying his best, and that's enough for you for now.

he can't deny he enjoys being held by you while you play with his hair strands though.

sometimes, he'll be reluctant to ask you for cuddles fearing he'd bother you or that it'd be awkward, but you reassure him every time and you tell him it's alright.

toya tries to repay you by your affection with acts of service and words of affirmation, hoping to remind you that, even if he isn't as touchy as you are, he still loves and enjoys every moment he spends with you.

akito likes it a lot, even if he doesn't really reciprocate the actions as much.

in the first weeks of your relationship, PDA really wasn't his kind of thing, so the one who took the initiative when it came to physical affection was you.

however, he started getting used to it and growing more comfortable eventually - taking the initiative himself. it wasn't unusual to feel an arm sliding around your waist as you walk or a hand on your thigh when you take the subway. and you were ecstatic to see him acting like that.

he likes it when your fingers intertwine with his as you chat away, or even when you're clinging to his arm when you look at him, enamored. he finds it cute.

if you ever go overboard with your clinginess, he'll make sure to tell you trying to not possibly sounding harsh, as he's aware of how much you enjoy physical affection.

akito himself is somewhat clingy as well, to some degree. during late night and early mornings, he'll always keep arms around your waist and his face nuzzled in the crook of your neck.

at the same time, he's another one that likes to rest his head on your chest and let you run your hand through his hair - cuddles are a must when you're going to sleep.

sometimes you can't help but wonder - how did you get so lucky with a guy like him?

Akito muttered to himself as he tried styling his hair a bit more elegantly. He had a date at a restaurant with you today and he prefered to look properly on it.

He was fully focused on his hair, getting a bit annoyed... he let our so many curses, even Ena came to his room and gave him instecutions just so he could shut up! But despite her tips... he had that one annoying hair strand that he couldn't get a hang of...

He finally decided to just look up some tutorials on internet, when he noticed the time... it was half an hour after the time you agreed to meet! And the amount of messages he got from you only told him how pissed you could be now...

He decided to drop his tries at calming the strand and just get to you as soon as he could, hoping that you were still there... you didn't leave this place yet, right? At least you haven't texted him about it...

He tried not to run to not sweat in his suit, so he settled on quick walk. When he arrived he noticed you getting up from a bench, clearly disappointed and about to leave, and he couldn't blame you for it...

"I'm sorry... I... I had a little problem."

He points at his hair strand as soon as he walked up to you, and you couldn't help but chuckle. He was dressed formally but that strand was ruining everything about this style!

Toya actually wasn't late, he'd be even 5 or 10 minutes early in this tempo so he walked calmly. It was when he was walking past some granny who was clearly struggling and he couldn't just walk past without caring...

And that's how it started... it turned out the older lady had a problem with getting 2 bags up to 4th floor, so of course he helped. And after he did that? She offered him some cookies, cup of coffee and even a small chat... she was so nice and chatty he couldn't just say he needs to go...

So thinking he has the time, he accepted it and didn't even realize it was half an hour that passed untill he looked at his phone, and finally excused himself.

"<I'm aware I'm running late, please wait just 10 more minutes for me, I'll be there soon and explain everything to you.>"

He texted you in a hurry as he picked up his peace and quickly walked towards location of your date.

When he finally arrived, he was just a little bit out of breath but quickly sat down next to you and as soon as he catched his breath, he explained everything to you.

And honestly, how can you even be mad at someone as pure as him? He just wanted to help person in need after all... sure, it's still 30 minutes delay but just this time, maybe he can be forgiven for that...

He could feel his heart sinking and he knew all of that is his fault alone. So he got up quickly and ran straight towards your house.

After around 10 minutes since Tsukasa's text, you heard a knock on your door, so you of course went to open, just for flowers and chocolates to be showed into your face when you did.

"Please forgive me... I wanted to look my best and... I had hard time deciding..."

"You're always looking your best... you could've just came..."

"I know, I should. And I'm really sorry that I didn't! Please let me take you out on a date... this time I'll be an hour early."

He had desperate look in his eyes as he tried to convince you to give him just one last chance... but whether you give him this chance or not, is only up to you! I mean... he does assure you plenty of times to set multiple alarms next time just in case... maybe he'll indeed do better from now on?

Rui hummed gentle tune to himself while he was working on a robot. He was fully focused but he forgot to mute his phone... so he kept hearing notifications in the background but ignored it, thinking it's Tsukasa having spider under his bed again... and that could wait a little bit~

But when notifications became too much, he finally checked it and his face immidietly turned to pure shock and nervousness when he noticed it's his partner... and it hit him, he forgot about the date! He quickly opened your texts and rushes to respond while he got dressed.

"<We can cancel it I guess...>"

"<Nononono!! I'm coming now, I'm so sorry for making you wait! Please give me 5 more minutes, I promise to run!>"

At this point, he was panicking, he just grabbed essential things and of course little gift he prepared for you, and ran out of his house.

When he arrives, you were just sitting on a bench with head in your hands, obviously disappointed and it was obvious he hurt your feelings. Seeing that, he immidietly rushed to you and wrapped his arms around you and caressing your back.

"I'm sorry... I'm so sorry... It won't happen again, I promise..."

He could only wrap his arms around you tighter and he tried fighting the tears himself, realization of him driving you to this point finally hitting him. But now, he'll do his best to catch up for his mistake and make this date one to remember.
