Request: From my New Years Celebration (which is still open) from @iignissfatuus : 🍎 sambucky, bucky joining sam's family for christmas week/weekend and him seeing the chaos during christmas dinner

A/N: my new years celebration is completely open still so head over there with the link and send me some stuff! i'd appreciate it <3 i loved writing this and i hope it fits how you saw it when requesting. this is a lot longer than i planned considering my celebration is supposed to be short fics but here i am… ADSFLJKJAsd

Christmas with the Wilsons is nothing short of magical. Sam, who literally spent hours putting up the tree in the living room, let Bucky put on the lights. It was his way of showing Bucky that he was a part of the family. Bucky doesn't admit how emotional that makes him, but he thinks that Sam could tell by the way he wrapped an arm around his waist and kissed his cheek when Bucky got even quieter than usual.s

There are decorations everywhere, lights, wreaths, ornaments hung up on hooks on the walls, and Christmas paintings, it's like he walked into a stereotypical house from a Hallmark movie.

Bucky loves it. He loves the little coasters with cute snowflakes on them that Sarah made by hand, the paper snowflakes hanging in the air that the boys made, and every other little detail that brings together this wonder Christmas landscape for him to enjoy.

This morning when he and Sam were woken up by the insistent loud banging on their door at 6:47 AM, Bucky forced himself to get up, woke Sam up, and they had all made their way to the large tree with all the neatly wrapped presents.

Well… Some of them were neatly wrapped. Some were thrown together with too much tape, Aj, and some were thrown together with too much paper, Cass, and some were just outright… A little wonky. They could thank Bucky, who had not wrapped a Christmas present since the 1940s.

They had all opened their gifts and it had been wonderful. The kids each got Bucky a little keychain to add to his ever-growing set of keys. Who knew actually doing things outside of assassinations could make you accumulate so many keys? The key to the house, a key to Sam's car, a key to Sarah's car for when Sam was busy out and Sarah was busy in the house, the key to the old truck that Sam's been fixing up for him, even a key to his AND Sam's work. It's a little absurd.

Sarah had given him an old cookbook of hers, something passed down to her by her aunt. It's a beautiful one with handwritten notes on the edges. She told him that she'd noticed how interested he was in cooking and wanted to open that world to him more… She also said that now that he has a cookbook he has no excuse not to cook and Bucky had laughed.

Sam, wonderful Sam, gave him an antique chest with a few items inside. An old photo of the howling commandos, an old bottle opener, and varying other items. But one thing caught his eye. The bottom held a book. He pulled it out and stared at it with a smile on his face. There the book was sitting in his lap, and when he opened it he could tell how old it was. Something like this, at that age, must have been hard to find. He had thanked Sam and pulled him into a big hug and he could hear AJ and Cass whispering amongst themselves that next year they'd have to get him more keychains to beat that.

When Bucky and Sam first started dating the first gift Sam gave him was 'The Hobbit' trilogy of movies. Sam had insisted that even though Bucky might hate it since it was fairly different from the book itself, he just had to watch it. They sat on the couch and watched all the movies in one sitting and Sam couldn't believe when Bucky told him he loved it. Bucky's still not sure if the love he has for the movies is because of Sam or because of the movies themselves.

Bucky's gift… Paled a bit in comparison. At least, he thinks it did, but Sam's face lit up and it made Sam happy when Bucky embarassedly handed over the two smal gifts he got Sam. The first one Sam opened was a painting of the backyard on a small wooden board. It had taken Bucky hours and Sam knows that because Bucky had forced Sam to go on a trip to the store and kept texting him every half hour to stay away.

The second was in a small cardboard box and when Sam opened ithis eys widened. It was a key to Bucky's apartment. The one thing that Sam didn't have access to because it was always Bucky's "safe space" that he could run to, even Bucky's therapist had said at the begininng of their relationship it'd be best if Bucky left his apartment to meet with Sam just so he had his own space.

Bucky had awkwardly explained how he talked to his therapist about being ready to give Sam the key, and she had thought it'd be a good idea. Bucky had been quick to say it didn't have to mean anything but that after everything, after the way they accept him into his home the way they had, he was finally able to return the favor. Sam had teared up and hugged him and Bucky's never felt so loved than he did in that moment.

Even though Bucky saw how much it meant to him he still couldn't see how his gifts were anything compared to what Sam has given him. A new life… A christmas.

He used to love Christmas, back when he still had his family to be around. It was a small holiday, nothing too special, nothing like this. It was something that brought them together though. Christmas dinner was quiet, comfortable, and safe. It was Bucky's favorite night of the year.

Bucky wasn't entirely expecting the pure chaos to come from the Wilson family Christmas Dinner. He probably should have, he's seen the cookouts, but he didn't really expect half of the town - yes he's aware it's an exaggeration, Sam - to show up and squeeze into the small little house. There are people everywhere. Couples singing to the Christmas music playing in the living room, Sarah and her girlfriend cooking some dessert as everyone crowds around them in the kitchen, Sam talking to some of the locals about the boat, it all seems so perfect but way too loud all at once. Bucky is trying to keep track of the conversation with Sam and a friend of theirs, Jake, as a few of the kids try to grab his arm. It's getting a bit… Overwhelming.

Bucky throws a fake smile at the kids and tries not to get too freaked as more people join the party. How many people did Sam invite, the whole neighborhood? It's only 3 pm and everyone is already crowding in before the dinner at 5. Even though it feels like the whole neighborhood, he knows there are probably only 10 people excluding Sarah, Sam, Aj, Cass, and himself. He takes a deep steadying breath and he feels a warm hand on his lower back. He looks over at Sam to see him smiling softly at him.

"Let's go get a breather," Sam whispers in his ear. He turns to the guy he's talking to and flashes his winning smile. "Gonna go get some air. Getting pretty crowded in here, even for me."

Bucky feels grateful for the escape as Sam takes him to the backyard and sits him down in one of their chairs. Sam sits next to him and gives him a knowing look, which Bucky chooses to ignore.

"Lot of people," Bucky says simply, nodding. Sam chuckles and nods.

"Yup. Warned you it'd be a bit much for you. You doing alright?" Sam asks, reaching out and taking his hand. Bucky smiles and nods.

"Oh, yeah. Great. It's… It's nice. Just. A lot." Bucky admits, shrugging. Sam smiles and kisses his hand.

"Just let me know when it gets to be too much. I'll rescue you. Knight in shining armor, the whole deal." Sam says, nodding seriously.

"The pretties knight to exist." Bucky snarks, trying to keep a straight face before laughing. Sam rolls his eyes and stands up, stretching. "Getting old, there?"

"Oh shut it, gramps." Sam jokes. He leans down and gives Bucky a kiss. "Come back in when you're ready. Nobody'll judge."

"Got it. See you soon."

"See ya, baby," Sam says, before patting his shoulder and walking back in.

Bucky takes a few moments to breathe in the chill air. Yeah, he's happy here. He goes back inside and is instantly bombarded by kids on both sides, asking him hundreds of questions at a thousand miles an hour and when he looks up he sees Sam laughing.

This is perfect.

A/N: This is going to have a Y/N reader character but she will not be the main focus. The main focus here is Bucky healing from…well…everything LOL PLEASE KEEP IN MIND...I did not write this as a Sambucky ship fic. I respect the ship but it's just not what is intended here. Thank you. Also, I added in a Loki & Thor quote because it fits all too perfectly 🤣🤣 There’s also an A/N at the end bc saying it here might spoil it LOL @buckyalpine I cannot thank you enough for requesting this! It was super fun to write and I hope you love it!!!!

“Alright, listen up,” Sam says loudly, tossing a file on the conference room table. Bucky groans loudly and Y/N elbows him.

“You’re the one who wanted to keep doing missions,” She reminds him. Bucky nods reluctantly and sits up to pay attention.

“We were informed of activity at an old Hydra base. We don’t know if it’s remnants of the original group or a new group but either way-”

“We need to shut them down,” Y/N speaks up. Sam nods and brings up the map.

“There is a problem though.” Bucky audibly swallows at seeing it. Y/N takes his hand but he pulls away and sits back again.

“So whats the plan?” Sam clears his throat and sighs.

“Well that’s the problem. We’re actually going to be intercepting a few of them who we think are the brains of the operation.”

“And, um, where are we intercepting them at?”

“Right here.” Sam zooms in to a mountain side above an old rail line. Y/N gulps, glancing over at her boyfriend. “Now, Y/N and I can do this alone. But-”

“No.” Bucky stands up, his arm whirring as he opens and closes his fist. “She cannot go. I won’t let her.”

“Buck, I understand you don’t want her there. But I can’t do it alone.”

“Who said you’d be alone?” Bucky walks out.

“Y/N-”

“It’s okay, Sam. Let him go with you. He needs it.”

“I’ll take care of him. I promise.”

By the next morning, the two are on their way, Y/N staying back at Bucky’s orders. “Are you sure about this, Bucky?” Sam asks for the millionth time. Bucky nods in reply, not saying a word. The two land on the mountainside and Bucky lets out a dry chuckle, finally breaking his silence.

"At least I know it's not payback for the Cyclone," He smiles, hiding his nervousness. Sam pats his shoulder and sighs.

"No, it's payback for the pimp suit in Madripoor." The two chuckle for a moment before Sam gets an alert from Redwing. "They're here." He opens his wings, grabbing Bucky by the special harness they've made for missions for an easy entrance and getaway.

"I hate this," Bucky grumbles before takeoff, looking very much like a grumpy cat.

"Come on. You love it," Sam replies with a smirk.

"I hate it."

"It's great. It works every time."

"It's humiliating."

"Do you have a better plan?"

"No."

"We're doing it." Sam takes off, carrying Bucky. The two land on the train and climb inside. "Do you always duck face into missions?" Sam whispers as they enter the train.

"I'm concentrating which, may I remind you, is critical to the mission."

"No need to bark at me, White Wolf." Bucky rolls his eyes and doesn't reply. The two try to advance to the front when suddenly two groups of soldiers close in on them from either end of the train car.

Sam throws the shield, knocking out a few of them, and it bounces back towards Bucky. He catches it, shoots at others closing in on them, and then throws it back to Sam.

Their little dance continues for some time before all the soldiers are incapacitated. As Sam and Bucky proceed, there's the sound of something powering up behind them. One of the soldiers wasn't completely knocked out. "Bucky! Watch out!" Sam yells. But it's too late, a powerful blast shakes the car, blowing out an entire side. Sam was protected by the shield, but Bucky is nowhere to be seen. Then Sam sees a speck of gold and black. "I've got you!" He yells, running over to Bucky who was hanging onto the side of the train over the edge. Sam grabs his arm, smiling. "I got you, man!" The train hits a bump and both are thrown out.

Bucky’s bloodcurdling scream pierces the air. “You’re not dying today,” Sam says under his breath. He activates his wings, swooping around under Bucky, catching him midair and pulling up just before they hit the ground. “See? I told you I got you!”

“You- I- We-” Bucky gasps, holding onto Sam for dear life.

“Don’t start cryin’ on me. Those tears are gonna freeze to this suit and you know how much I love it,” Sam teases. Bucky laughs loudly, shock setting in and sending his emotions haywire.

Sam flies them to the safehouse they’d established, landing in the yard. He sets Bucky down and turns to walk up to the house. “Sam?”

“Yeah, Bucky?”

“I-” Tears start rolling down Bucky’s cheeks and Sam pulls him into a hug. Bucky immediately returns it, sobbing softly. “Thank you! Thank you, Sam!”

“You’re welcome, Bucky. I-”

“Buck. You definitely can call me Buck now.” Sam can’t find the words to reply, tearing up a bit himself. The two eventually go inside and settle in for the night. Sam starts some dinner while Bucky lights the fire. As he works, Bucky has to keep adjusting his arm, opening and closing his fist repeatedly.

“You might want to call your girl,” Sam suggests, tossing Bucky his phone. “Let her know we’ll be home tomorrow.”

“But we-”

“We need to go home. It’s clear that catching guys on trains just isn’t the way to do things,” He smiles and Bucky chuckles in reply.

“Yeah, yeah I guess so.” Bucky gets up, resetting his arm and walks over to the kitchen, leaning on the counter across Sam. “I-um, thank you. I really can’t express it enough.” Sam sets aside what he’s working on, turning the stove down to pay attention. “It was like everything was happening again. All I could see was Steve looking down at me, the cold was nearly unbearable at that moment. I felt it, you know. I could feel my arm again for a moment. And the pain. It still hurts," he admits.

“Buck, I’m so sorry. I shouldn’t have brought you here.”

“No, it wasn’t your fault. I wanted to come. Part of me wanted to prove that I could do it.”

“We could have. You could have. I know that. But unfortunately we went in before we were fully prepared.” Sam sighs and pats Bucky’s shoulder. “We’ll be better prepared next time we try to catch them. But we won’t try the train again. I should have thought about it more. I’m sorry.”

“No. I-I’m glad.” Sam looks at Bucky in complete surprise. “You, well, you saved me. You helped me. You were there for me. I didn’t die. I didn’t lose my arm. Or my other arm. I wasn’t taken and brainwashed. I’m okay. I’m really okay!” Bucky laughs loudly, through tears streaming down his face. “I’m okay! For the first time in decades I’m okay!”

"Come here, man," Sam says, walking around the counter to Bucky. He pulls him into his arms again, hugging him tightly. "We're brothers now. I'm not gonna let you go. You got that?"

"Got it. You're with me till the end of the line," Bucky jokes, abit sadly.

"I'm afraid the end of the line has come and gone. But I'm still here. I'm with you till the end of forever and then some."

"End of forever. I like that."

When they get back to the tower, Bucky doesn't tell Y/N everything right away, but she can tell. Bucky and Sam now go on morning runs every day together. Their laughter fills whatever room they're in. Bucky smiles. A lot. She can tell he's truly happy once more. A side of him that had been taken away decades ago. Who would have guessed that such a fall could raise up a part of him he thought was lost.

As the three sit down for dinner together, Bucky smiles. He's got his family. They're all a little broken but he loves every bit of them. His beautiful Y/N, his new kitten Alpine, and most of all Sam. Best friend didn't seem strong enough. The two had truly become brothers. They went together now like-

"Salt and pepper," Bucky says aloud, chuckling softly. The anniversary of his and Sam's first mission together was coming up. And he just had the perfect idea.

"What was that?" Y/N asks.

"Nothing, doll," He replies. But he knows what he'll be ordering on a set of t-shirts that night.

1. How many works do you have on AO3?

81 so far, and always working on more haha

2. What’s your total AO3 word count?

481,097

3. What fandoms do you write for?

currently only 911, but I did write mcu and spn and if inspiration strikes might go back (kinda missing sambucky tbh, might need to write something for them soon haha)

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

(four out of these are buddie, last one is my first ever sambucky fic that's still somehow up there lol) 1. For a holiday (and forevermore) 2. I can't love you any more (than I do now) 3. There’s no way that it’s not going there (with the way that we’re looking at each other) 4. I'd marry you with paper rings 5. "You should smile more"

5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?

6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

generally angst is not particularly my thing, and there are always happy endings in mine lol - but around the lightning arc I wrote a few angsty-ish fics, and I guess these two might count? Fine and don't know what I'd do if your tomorrow never came

7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

like all of them have happy endings haha - but i'd say the holiday fic -For a holiday (and forevermore) - might be the happiest?? (or just satisfying after the slow burn and them being fake dating oblivious idiots haha)

8. Do you get hate on fics?

not really, I did get like two not so nice comments ever (one even very recently, and I'm in a place where it hit harder than the previous one lol but it's fine) but generally I don't, my comments are filled with love and I appreciate that so much <3

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

I do now lmao - it's the very sappy kind with lots of feelings - other than that, I'm still trying out new stuff haha

10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?

I don't - there's one that I'm not sure if it counts but I did write a mcu with netflix marvel shows crossover bc I'm dying to see Jessica Jones interact with Bucky lol - nothing crazy tho, just them lowkey trauma bonding - but other than that, no, not really writing crossovers, idk, haven't tried any yet haha

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

don't think so

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

got two requests but their ideas were so not my thing, so no, I haven't idk if i'd be good at co-writing but if we vibe and the idea is good I won't say no to trying haha

14. What’s your all time favorite ship?

gotta say buddie, they took over my brain like no ship ever before

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?

the 5+1 nicknames fic - something there is just not working and I want to rewrite the whole thing but can't get around to it - this and one other fic have been postponed since like january, don't know if I'll get back to them tho i want to :(

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think I'm pretty good with dialogue and feelings and in smut I'm good at making it soft and sweet but also hot and horny at the same time haha and usually can write characters so that they don't feel too ooc (I think? that's the feedback i often get, idk lol)

17. What are your writing weaknesses?

overusing the same words over and over again (but like, synonyms don't hit the same lol), probably way too many adverbs, and I'm not great with descriptions of characters or places etc and trying to work on that haha

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

feels awkward - a word here and there is fine, but whole conversations both in reading and writing feels awkward and out of place idk (I think I wrote a whole line in one fic and it's so bad haha)

19. First fandom you wrote for?

when it comes to shows, spn - destiel before that, unfortunately, was rpf and 1d but we don't talk about that

20. Favorite fic you’ve written?

it's between the possessive smut and the car smut tbh lol I love both so much (possessive maybe a bit more tho? just a tiny bit haha - but gonna link both here lol)

I have a small request or just thoughts or whatever, but here’s a thing.

I never found fanfics with littles who have piercings or tattoos, on the contrary, I always found fics with littles who don’t have tattoos and piercings. And my ears have like 15 piercings in them and I also have nipple piercings. And I also wanted tattoos but what I won’t be good little with more piercings and tattoos?

So I just wanted to ask/ request what do you think about it? Or what would daddies Bucky and Sam think about it?

And I think our looks don't and shouldn't affect our goodness as littles or as girls in general, and I think Sam and Bucky would totally agree! She let out a sigh before the mirror as she checked herself out, slipping one more earring on before stepping back. She looked nice, cool and, of course, sexy.

But did she look soft? Did she look little? Innocent? Good?

"You ready, sugar?" Sam's warm voice asked her as the man came into view behind her.

"I don't know... Maybe I shouldn't," she replied, nervous yet again about making the decision.

"Baby, you know you don't have to. We support whatever you want." His big hands rested on both her shoulders, massaging gently.

"That we do," Bucky confirmed, entering the room and speeding up to where she was to peck her cheek.

"I know. You're the best. I just—" she didn't know how to continue. How to tell them about her thoughts and worries. What if they think she's being silly? Or worse, what if her fears are true and her appearance does affect her ability to be a good little?

"What is it, doll?" Bucky frowned when he saw her frown.

"I don't wanna look less good for you," she whispered the words out quickly, her eyes getting shiny with unshed tears as her gaze dropped.

Sam exchanged looks with Bucky and then took her hand in his and led her to their bed, sitting down with her while Bucky crouched before her knees.

"You are the best baby to ever exist, so so good I can't believe we get to be the ones to take care of you," Sam said, kissing her hand.

"Love, this is your body," Bucky continued, "you can do whatever you want with it. It won't change anything about how good you are and how in love with you we are." His warm hand cupped her knee as she smiled down at him, her smaller hand covering his.

"So, you ready now, sugar?"

"Yes, papa." She nodded happily, smiling at Sam and squeezing Bucky's hand back.

"Baby doll is ready!" Bucky exclaimed, "let's go get you that tattoo." He stood up and kissed her forehead.

"You'd hold my hand, right?" Her small voice asked.

"Of course!" Both men replied in unison, making her giggle.

She felt good; safe.

Welcome to the SamBucky fandom! I'm glad you've discovered them. They really are such a fun ship, and it's always nice to have more people interacting with the fan content around them.

I'm really happy to hear that you've found joy in my fics. The Promise of Cheesecake and a Decent Wine is a heck of a place to start, so thank you for coming back after being introduced to my works through that one lol. I'm also really glad you're enjoying Falling/Already Fell so far, that's very encouraging for me to hear!

As for your request, while I really do appreciate your interest in having me write something for you, I'm not taking requests at this time. I have a lot of fic WIPs (works in progress) in my backlog that I'm trying to focus on right now. I'm sorry to have to say no because I'm sure it took a lot of courage to send a message asking, and I don't want you to feel discouraged or have your feelings hurt, but it's just not something I can take on right now.

I would encourage you to consider writing it yourself, if you're at all interested in trying to write fanfics. I know it sounds daunting and scary at first, especially the thought of sharing it for the world to see, but there is real joy to be had in seeing your own idea come to life as you put words on a page. I'm sure you have an idea of how you want that fic to go, and the best person to write your idea is always going to be you, because you'll put a unique spin on it that no one else could replicate.

Thank you again for enjoying my fics and for reaching out and being kind. I hope you have a lovely evening/morning/whatever time it is wherever you are in the world.

WIP Update - 15 Mar 2023

aA more normal week, writing wise. I touched 4 fics (1 WIPs & 3 new works) for a total of 2139 words.

I have 13 active WIPs with my current deadlines being the Stucky and Avengers bingos.

See below cut for what I’m working on/planning to work on - arranged more or less by bingos/challenges/etc. As always, feel free to send me prompts or plot bunnies as well as asks regarding any of these projects or any other WIPs I’ve got out there. Interaction really helps feed the Muse and keep me motivated!

Seek & Destroy Collab

After reading @psychiccatpanda‘s amazing Morguna and the Green Queen, I got the itch to explore the Soldier’s POV and talked Faustie into collab’ing with me! We’re working on a new part of the series, and I’ve contributed about 478 words so far.

Stucky Bingo Round Four [SB_R4] (Ends 31 May 2023)

Fourteen fills and one WIP with a couple of other vague ideas.

* B1 - Mutual Pining - no specific idea, but it’s so On Brand for me I’m sure I’ll come up with something! (maybe the Centerfold fic idea I’ve been toying with)

* B2 - “Hold on. You can’t even drive a car.” - Used this for the March Stucky Bingo Discord party Round Robin this past weekend. I kicked off a wartime mission fic by writing 325 words - will share the link once it’s posted.

* N1 - AU: Fairytale - Posted The Captain and the Soldier to Ao3 this morning - I stretched this prompt a little to combine it with the FFC23 Day 15: Ice prompt for a double drabble that is vaguely inspired by The Snow Queen (Hans Christian Andersen).

* O4 - AU: Supernatural - got inspired by a dream to start a Stucky fantasy AU (magician!Steve/ensorcelled!Bucky) that @bill-longbow is collaborating on with me. We’re currently sitting at 1640 words (984-ish of which are mine). Will probably continue on this sometime in March. Current Last Line: "My men will accompany you back to Brookline in the morning.”

I also adopted the Writing Format: Remix one of your fics square – am thinking of taking one of my Stony or WinterIron No Powers fics and adapting it to a Stucky pairing – if you have any requests - hit me up!

WinterIron - No Powers AU – Stony No Powers AU

Avengers Bingo Round Four [AvB_R4] (Ends 2 June)

This time around the card is a 3x3, so am looking at writing different pairings for my two favorite Avengers - Tony and Steve. I have 3 fills completed and two WIPs, with a couple more ideas in play.

* B3 - Mistaken Identity - I’m planning a third chapter of my Tony/Rhodey Western AU Decision at Sundown based on the ficlet I wrote to fill the “Wet Your Whistle” FFC23 prompt. The expansion will make both this square (and probably the fic itself) more explicit. 😁

* C1 - Babysitter AU - will probably combine with ACB babysitting square for some sort of Stucky or Stony shenanigans; over on the STB Discord server, MagicaDraconia16 and I are talking about a potential collab.

* C3 - Dog Tags - seems like a good Steve/Bucky (or Steve/Sam?) square.

All Caps Bingo [ACB_R1] (Ends 30 Sep 2023)

This new bingo focuses on Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes and Sam Wilson as its main characters - paired up with each other or anyone else! I’ve got five completed fics, two WIPs and will be pursuing the One Fill, One Bingo Challenge -

* B1 - Knotting - Working on a Cap!Steve/Modern Sex Worker!Bucky A/B/O AU fic - up to 1296 words and they’ve barely even touched...

* B2 - AU: Fugitive - I combined this with the FF23 Pirate AU prompt to write Flying the Flag of Freedom. I plan on expanding it to bring Sam aboard (so to speak) but need to do some more research first.

* B4 - Walk on the Beach - squished this into Chapter 3 of Make My Heart Come All Undone - No Powers AU selkie!Tony / Bucky meet-cute. It came in at 948 words.

* N4 - Deserted Island - combined this with last week’s Flash Fiction Friday’s prompt [#FFF192 Sea and Sun] for Not Having Fun Down on the Bayou - Sam & Bucky missionfic shenanigans. It will get posted to Ao3 before the event ends.

* G4 - Babysitting - see AvB Babysitting AU above.

* O3 - Pararescue Sam Wilson - may try to squish this into an expansion of A Rising Star - a previous Flash Fiction Friday fill.

Sam Wilson Bingo [SWB_R3] (Ends 15 Oct 2023)

Finally got my square incorporated into my Master Bingo tracking workbook and have one fill. I have a few squares I want to swap & will probably start tacking this and the All Caps bingo in earnest this month.

G1 - Rescue Mission - I combined this with last week’s @flashfictionfridayofficial prompt [#FFF190 Trapped in the Dark] to write a Sam & Bucky mission fic hurt/comfort ficlet: Down in the Hole (Some Emotions Are Hard to Hide) It came in at 525 words and will get posted to Ao3 sometime next month.

* G3 - Joaquin Torres - see ACB Pararescue Sam Wilson above.

WinterIron Bingo - [WIB_R1] (Ends 16 Dec 2023)

A brand new bingo event that I’m helping mod! Signups for custom cards began on the 10th and will run through the 10th of April. For more info visit @bingowinteriron or PM me.

On other creative fronts: I have a Neptune the Turtle figure in progress - still working on the figures/props for my three Marvel Trumps Hate auction winners as well (7 of 8 done so far) – thanks so much for your generous support!! I also have multiple commissions from the Hall of Heroes Comic Con to work on and am prepping for a con in June so am pretty well booked up through early summer.
