But you wouldn’t let him. It took some time but in the end you convinced him that this is what you wanted. All you were asking for was a little more reason and communication when things didn’t go well between the two of you. Gladio was more than ready to work on that. You both were. It goes without saying that you both never had a fight like that anymore.

• Ignis spent a lot of time at the Citadel. It was frustrating sometimes. You always seemed to be on second place. Of course you knew that his jobwas important. But sometimes... just sometimes you wished you would feel equally important for him. It was almost impossible to really fight with Ignis. He could stay incredibly calm, even in the most stressful situations. Arguments or fights were no exceptions. But even Ignis had his limits. And when he felt like he was about to snap he “officially” ended the discussion and would simply ignore you if you tried to bring that topic up again.

• But there was one time where Specs just... exploded. Not in public of course, but once you two were in the private of your own home. You went out with a friend of yours. A male friend to be precise. On a night that was usually reserved for you and Ignis - but he was working. Naturally you didn’t see a problem with spending that now free time however you wanted. If Ignis could turn you down for work, you could go out with someone else, right? It’s not like this was a date or something. Just two friends having coffee.

• But Ignis was livid. You had never seen him like this before. He was yelling and swearing... and at one point you just walked out. You wouldn’t let him talk to you like that, nor would you get down on his level and talk back like that. How dare he? Treating you like property, pushing you away all the time only to act like he owns you when things don’t go his way?

• When you left, Ignis finally cooled down. This wasn’t fair. It wasn’t and he knew it. He knew he was acting irrational. But he couldn’t help it. He had been botteling up his emotions for too long. He wanted to spend time with you. He hated disappointing you by cancelling yet another date. He hated it. But alas - what could he do? He had a duty to fulfill. But then again... he didn’t want to let you down. He was scared to lose you, which is why he snapped when he saw you with your friend. He couldn’t stand the thought of being without you. The thought of you finding comfort in another man’s arms. No. He needed to talk to you. Now.

• Unfortunately... he was too late. You got involved in a fight just around the corner and were badly injured. Someone tried to rob a bank. Yes, you were able to stop the robber... but at what cost? Ignis was heartbroken when he stood next to your bed at the hospital, watching your unmoving form, being kept alive by those various tubes and machines. It was horrible. Would you ever wake up again? The doctors were unsure. Ignis knew you were strong... but... well maybe that was his punishment for being a disappointment.

• He was so relieved when your eyes fluttered open after countless, excruciating days. He half expected that you would tell him to leave as your eyes landed on him. But to his surprise you smiled at him. Weakly... but it was there. Ignis knew as well as you did, that this was neither the time nor the place to talk about what happened between you two. For now you were both glad you had each other again. Life wasn’t finish with both your stories yet.

• “Princes will be Princes.” Prompto once said. And when it came to this... there was no Prince like Noctis. He was a spoilt brat. And sometimes he acted like one too. And sometimes... that was driving you crazy. He could have the worst attitude if something happened that he didn’t like. It was ridiculous. Frustrating. Nerve-wrecking even. It was like he turned into a pouty 4-year-old. You couldn’t talk to him properly, let alone reason with him. All you could do was to accept his pouting and wait for it to go away... or do what he wants to make him happy again.

• You were so sick of it. Sick of that man-child always getting his way. Sick of always having to act like you were okay with his tantrums. And one night, you had enough. You snapped. Yelled at him. Called him out on his ridiculous behavior. And what did he do? He yelled back. It wasn’t pretty. You had never seen him like that. Did you go too far? No, it was about time somebody did something about his antics. Maybe snapping at him wasn’t the right way to behave. But him telling you that he didn’t need you and that you were annoying anyway, was definitely worse.

• You two had your occasional quarrels, but it never escalated into a fully blown fight like this. Neither of you knew how to deal with that, so you both did what you thought was best: Ignored each other until the other one would cave. Who would have thought, that a Granhorn would run you over before you two could sort things out?

• Yes, your head wasn’t fully in the game when the five of you went hunting - understandably. And the fact, that this Grandhorn was hidden, until the very moment it came out of the bushes and trampled you, didn’t make it any better. You instinctively curled in on yourself and wrapped your arms around your head, but you still took quite a bad beating. Bones were breaking, skin was tearing, and you felt all of it.

• Noctis panicked. This wasn’t supposed to happen. You weren’t supposed to get injured like this? How dare you? He yells at Ignis to do something, to fix you. He can’t stand the slight whimper that escapes your throat, it tears his heart apart. You shouldn’t suffer. Not mentally, not physically. And now you were suffering in both ways - just because of him and his incompetence to deal with his life. He wanted to slap himself. It was all his fault.

• Noctis refuses to leave your side once Ignis patched you up and tucked you into your sleeping bag at the camp. Night had already fallen, so driving back to Insomnia was much too dangerous. The men just hoped that you didn’t have any internal injuries and that you would make it through the night. Noctis felt helpless as he watched your unconscious form, your chest barely rising and falling. His hand stroked your hair gently as he made the decision to never let it come to a point like this anymore. He didn’t want to fight with you. He didn’t want you to hate him. He was determined to fix things as soon as you woke up. Until then, he would just sit there next to you and read you some of your favorite stories. That was the one thing he could do for you right now. After all, you loved listening to his voice.

• Fighting with Prompto was almost impossible. Almost. After all, he was a very soft individual and needed harmony at all costs - which is the reason he never talks back, even if he’s being pushed around. He never speaks up and he does everything to make everyone happy... without looking out for himself. Yes, it was great that he always wanted to maintain the peace and harmony within the group - but at what cost?

• You were trying to help him with his insecurities, supporting him whenever possible, teaching him to stand up for himself and his opinions. But when it came to it, Prompto always caved and took the easy way out of a confrontation by backing down. This happened one too many times now.

• Yes, you were angry. Yes, you yelled at him. Yes, you were a tiny bit unfair to him. And yes, it was unexpected that Prompto found his voice right in that moment. Of course you were glad, that he finally stood up for himself... you just wished it wouldn’t have been like this. It was ugly. You were screaming at each other, throwing around harsh words and nasty insults - neither of you deserved that.

• Prompto felt incredibly bad when you slammed the door shut as you left. He had such a bad conscience about lashing out at you like that. It wasn’t like him. What had gotten into him? Was it because it was a generally stressful time currently? Or was it because you were constantly trying to change him? He had to talk to you about that. He knew that you weren’t actually trying to change him, you wanted to help him. But maybe... just maybe it was a little too much. He needed to make things right with you. Now.

• He sprinted after you - but it was too late. The only thing he found was your unconscious, bleeding form in the middle of the street. Prompto was freaking out. What was he supposed to do? Get you to safety. Get you to a doctor. Find whoever did this. Thoughts were racing through his head. He tried to sort them, tried to find the right thing to do. But... he only came around when someone was calling for help and tending to your wounds.

• It had been the worst couple days of his life, until the doctors finally said that you would be alright. It was close. Too close. But you would make it. You would come back to him. Until then, he would sit right next to you and read your favorite stories to you and tell you about his day, how he finally managed to assert himself in a certain matter. He could have sworn that the corners of your lips twitched slightly when he told you that. Even when being in a state like this, you were still showing Prompto, that you were there for him. You truly were the best thing that ever happened to him.

"i can't wait to see him!" prompto's voice echoed throughout the halls, he was clearly excited about something. ignis hummed and nodded in agreement, so did noctis.

"yeah, he looked amazing tonight." gladio responded to prompto's comment, letting out a small sigh as an image in his mind appeared about this 'he'.

the men kept walking through the hallways, backstage in a venue. they were all giddy, and practically buzzing with excitement just to see this 'he'.

eventually, the group reached a dressing room. ignis decided to knock lightly on the door, waiting for a response or for someone to open the door for him and the group behind him.

a few seconds pass, but the door creaks open. a man is standing at the other side of the door, looking quite tired but his face lights up as soon as he sees the men infront of him.

"[name]!" the group call out, all rushing to hug the man. they all throw themselves on top of [name], each trying to steal a kiss from their boyfriend.

a light chuckle escaped [name]'s lips as he tried to pull his boyfriend's off. he wanted his space, a little air to breathe and preferably a warning if he was to get crushed once again.

"well it's good to see you all too." [name] finally spoke up, a smile on his face as he looks over at the group infront of him. they all looked back in awe, prompto rushing to hog [name] for himself.

"oh babe! you looked so good out there today! you were so amazing!" prompto cooed, squeezing [name] as tightly as he could before someone else stole him away. [name] smiled at prompto and gave him a quick peck on the lips. "thank you." [name] whispered back.

then, gladio pulled [name] out of prompto's arms so the man could rest in his own muscular arms. "you were so handsome and sexy up on that stage." gladio purred, placing a few kisses to [name]'s neck. [name] responded with a few laughs, finding the way gladio's facial hair scratched his neck to be quite ticklish.

"yes, you were quite fascinating on stage my dear." ignis piped up, walking towards [name] to place a kiss on his forehead. ignis then moved gladio's arms off of [name], worried the poor man might get squished. instead, ignis let gladio hold onto his hand.

noctis was the last one to come up to [name], wrapping his arms around his boyfriend to nuzzle himself in the other man's neck. he seemed to be more tired than [name] even though he wasn't the one performing.

"mhm.." noctis hummed in agreement to what everyone else said previously. he just seemed to be more interested in getting home to sleep, just like [name].

"you two look very tired." ignis comments, taking a look at his partner's faces. there's a small frown wanting to form on ignis' lips. his heart aches as he sees how tired noctis and [name] look. "i guess we should get going now. unless you have to go get your fans to cheer for you again, [name]?" ignis asked, almost as if he was teasing his boyfriend.

[name] rolled his eyes, letting his own arms wrap around noctis. "no, i don't need to have my fans cheer for me." [name] responded to ignis with a hum. "the only people i need to cheer for me are you guys." [name] smirked.

prompto started to holler at [name]'s words, gladio and ignis joining in with laughs of their own. prompto then practically jumps over to [name], giving him a kiss on the lips. noctis groans and he pushes prompto away, wanting to be the only one in [name]'s arms right now.

"well, if that's the case i think we can go to the car and drive home, yes?" ignis suggests and all of the men nod along to him. "let's go then." ignis continues, taking hold of prompto's hand to drag him to the car.

gladio walked over to [name], shaking noctis off of him to pick up the other man. "a reward for your impressive work today, my prince." gladio smirked, kissing [name]'s forehead and picking him up.

noctis groans once again, glaring at gladio for stealing away his warmth. he just sighed, not bothering with his boyfriend. he just followed him, and his other boyfriends, to the car.

the group walked over to the car, squeezing inside as best as they could. ignis started driving off back home, engaging in conversation with his boyfriends. they all laughed and talked with eachother on the way home.

suddenly, [name] realised something and his eyes widened.

"oh shit. i forgot all my stuff back in the dressing room.." [name] mumbled.

ignis immediately stopped the car and he turned back around. everyone groaned and sighed at [name], shaking their heads.

"[name]!" prompto whined, turning around in his seat and pouting at his boyfriend. "how could you!" prompto continued, acting as if [name] had done the worst thing in the world.

"it's not my fault you guys dragged me out of the dressing room so quickly! it's not my fault you guys wanted to see me and snuggle up to me so badly!" [name] chuckled at prompto. the blonde pouted, turning back around in his seat with his arms crossed over our chest.

"i guess we were just too eager to see our band boy." gladio teased, pressing a kiss to [name]'s cheek. noctis and ignis hummed in agreement, ignis continuing to drive back to the venue.

the group couldn't wait for [name]'s next performance, to have another moment like this. but, they hoped [name] wouldn't end up leaving his stuff again.

Haha, I understand. I wasn’t quite sure how to approach this, so I decided to do one for each of the guys if that’s alright.

The Chocobros with a male S/O coming out as gay and confessing

You and Noctis were out fishing together when you came out to him. You were having a great time, but you felt the need to tell him at the moment. You started out by stating simply that there was something you wanted to tell him. He gave you your full attention as you told him you were gay. He gave you a grin and said, “That’s cool.”

After the friendly fishing trip, you let that fact settle with him for a few days. You and the guys were meandering around town. Your wanderings got you and Noctis alone for the time being. As the two of you wandered among the market stalls, you decided to utilize this opportunity to tell him how you felt about him. Once you finished your heartfelt confession, Noctis didn’t say anything, making you worry that this changed his impression of you. Instead, he looked into your eyes. “You really feel that way?” he asked you. You reaffirmed, leading Noctis to say something along the line of how nice it felt to have someone feel that way about him, regardless if it was from a male or a female.

Coming out as gay and confessing your love to Prompto occurred in a very similar scene with Noct and Prompto on the roof of the motel. Finding that you weren’t in the motel room, Prompto went to look for you and found you sitting on the rooftop by yourself. After letting him join your side on the roof, the two of you reminisced to enjoyable times in Insomnia. One thing led to another, which eventually led to you telling Prompto you were gay.

Excitable as Prompto is, he began asking if you were seeing anyone, especially in the group. At first, you denied it playfully. You finally admitted that you were crushing on Prompto himself. “R-really? I-um… wow!” He gave you a nervous smile, a red hot blush blanketing his cheeks. He didn’t expect that from you, but he sure was happy to hear what you had to say.

When it came to coming out and confessing to Gladio, it started out with you and the guys were at some bar in Lestallum. Unaware of your stance, Gladio was drawing your attention to the various girls present. It was after you left the locale and returned to the Regalia, you spent the time contemplating what you’d say to him. When you got to the campsite later that night, you finally pulled him aside to tell him that you felt differently. Gladio seriously admired your courage for coming out, because he knows that you must’ve been super nervous to do so. He apologizes if he happened to made uncomfortable at the bar, but you waved it off as nothing. With a firm hand on your shoulder, he lets you know with a smile that what it doesn’t change a thing about how he feels about you.

It was a late night when you confessed your feelings to Gladio. Nothing special was going on, but you felt that the moment was right. After telling him your romantic feelings for him, he couldn’t help giving off a little chuckle. At first, you were concerned that he thought it was ridiculous, but then you got the impression that he wasn’t ridiculing you. “That how you feel about me, huh?” Gladio proceeds to say that he’d be willing to try this relationship out with you; besides, he always thought you were a pretty good looking guy.

You had been pondering your feelings for Ignis for quite a while now, but it seemed like there was never an opportunity for you to come out to him and tell him; he always seemed so busy. One night, however, he invites you to help him make breakfast. You knew that this was the chance you were waiting for. Only you and Ignis were awake the next morning making breakfast. You eventually told him casually that you were gay. Ignis smiled and went on to reassure you that he would never view you differently because of your sexuality.

Ignis is a very observant person; he knows that you’ve held dreamy gazes in his direction and what not. Regardless, he didn’t push that upon you and he let you express your feelings toward him yourself. As you confessed your love to him later on, you are gifted with another rare, genuine smile from the polished man as he told you that he felt that you were a wonderful person to spend a lifetime with.

Hey babe!

Sorry you haven’t gotten a letter from me recently, I wanted to send one last week, but then there was the accident...

No don’t worry! I’m okay, and so are the guys, we took care of it and there was just a few scraps and bruises, but nothing I can’t handle! I promised I’d come home alive right? I could never lie to you Pryce.

But that's the other part of my news, I’ll be home in a week! Exciting right?

No smut. I will write some light NSFW stuff but just not detailed stuff because I've never written about it before and I'm not fully comfortable with it. Possibly sometime in the future??

I write mainly for a female reader. Just because it's what I'm most comfortable with. I will write for a gender neutral reader as well if you ask, but I'm not too sure about a male one just because I'm not too great with it to be honest.
