Delicious
“Wild, could you please chew more quietly, you’re going to give me a headache,” Legend grumbled, and turned to glare at him when he loudly crunched what was in his mouth again, “what even are you eating that’s making so much noise?!”
“Rocks,” Wild said completely straight-faced, and at Legend’s disbelieving look, he merely shrugged. “They’re delicious.”

Janis and Regina as camp counsellors?
I.
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven—
Janis is missing a camper.
"Lizzie!" she calls, but she gets no response. She scans the field where they've just finished a game of kickball, but sees the child nowhere.
She does see Regina standing off to the side, looking at her fingernails.
Regina, her "co-counselor," the bane of her existence.
"Regina, where's Lizzie?" Janis asks.
Regina looks up and shrugs. "I dunno."
Janis stares at her incredulously. "You were supposed to be watching them while I put away the equipment."
"Okay, well you were gone for, like, two minutes, so she couldn't have gone far," Regina says, looking completely and totally unconcerned.
It definitely took her longer than that, and the first stirrings of panic ignite in Janis's stomach.
"Lizzie!" she shouts again. "I can't believe you," she hisses at Regina. "You're gonna get us fired."
Regina rolls her eyes. "You are being so dramatic right now."
"Oooh," a couple of the kids say, giggling, picking up on the tension and apparently finding it amusing.
"LIZZIE! LIZ—"
"What?"
The child in question emerges from the wooded path that leads away from the field.
"Oh my god," Janis says in relief. "Where were you?"
"I had to go to the bathroom," Lizzie says.
"You know you're not supposed to go alone," Janis scolds, sending a harsh look Regina's way.
"Sorry," Lizzie says, and she seems sufficiently apologetic, so Janis lets it go.
"She could have gotten hurt," Janis tells Regina as the group leaves the field.
"Okay, well, she didn't, so..." Regina widens her eyes, like Janis is the one in the wrong here.
It takes all of her willpower, but Janis does not smack Regina over the head with her clipboard.
II.
Janis is walking a couple of campers back from the bathroom when she hears a shriek coming from the direction of the basketball court, where her group is playing four-square and drawing with chalk.
The shriek turns into loud crying, and when Janis reaches the blacktop, she sees one of her campers sitting on the ground, holding her leg. Regina is standing over her, expression pinched.
"It hurts," wails the camper. There's a scrape on her knee that's bleeding a little—nothing a band-aid can't fix, but kids that age see one drop of blood and think they're dying.
"Well, then you shouldn't run with your shoe untied," Regina says unsympathetically.
Janis frowns. "What's going on?"
"She tripped," Regina says with a roll of her eyes.
"So give her a band-aid," Janis says as she kneels next to the camper. "Hey, you're gonna be fine," she says. "It's not that bad."
"It's not?" the camper says, sniffling, and Janis shakes her head.
"I don't have a band-aid," Regina says.
Janis looks to Regina's waist, where the red first-aid fanny pack should be. Each group is supposed to have one. "Where's the first aid kit?"
Regina wrinkles her nose. "In the cabin. That thing is so ugly."
Janis stares at her in disbelief. "Well go get it!" she nearly shouts. One of the kids has an Epi-Pen in there that should be with them at all times.
"Jeez, relax," Regina says, holding up a hand. "You could have carried it, too."
"I already carry half this group's bags," Janis says indignantly. Their tiny arms and shoulders get tired so easily.
"Those things weigh, like, two pounds, but fine, I'll go get it," Regina says with a sigh, like she's doing Janis some huge favor. She turns on her heel and heads off in the direction of the cabins.
Janis fishes a tissue out of her pocket and presses it against the camper's knee in the meantime.
At least Regina will be out of her hair for fifteen minutes.
III.
Janis blinks awake to the distinct smell of weed.
She sits up as her eyes adjust to the dark. They're out in the middle of nowhere—it's either an older camper or someone who works here. She slips on her shoes and creeps out the door.
If it's a staff member—and it probably is—she is more than fine to mind her own business, but for her own conscience, Janis wants to make sure it isn't a camper.
Several feet away, Janis spots an orange glow off to the side of the cabin. When she approaches, she sees that it's—
Regina.
"You've got to be kidding me," Janis whispers as loud as she dares.
"Oh, hey," Regina says, unbothered.
"You're supposed to be inside," Janis snaps, abandoning minding her own business.
"They're asleep. What's the worst that could happen?" Regina says. She holds the joint out to Janis. "You really need to relax."
Janis glares at her. "Why are you even here? You obviously don't give a shit about the kids."
She stares at the joint for a moment before begrudgingly taking it. Free weed is free weed.
Regina exhales, smoke wafting around her. "My dad owns this camp, and he said I had to work here for a summer if he was going to pay for me to study abroad next semester."
Janis starts coughing, but not from the smoke. "Wait," she gasps out. "Your dad owns this camp?"
"Yeah," Regina says, like it should have been obvious. "What, did you think I was working here because I wanted to?"
Well, Regina certainly doesn't act like she wants to be here, so Janis guesses that makes sense. Then it dawns on her that this could actually be to her advantage.
"So, the next time you don't watch the kids, or a kid gets hurt, I can just go to your dad and say you're not doing your job?" Janis asks, casual tone veiling her threat.
To her surprise, Regina just laughs as she takes the joint back.
"Of course not," she says, then takes a final drag before dropping it in the dirt and crushing it with her shoe. "Nothing is ever my fault. If a parent complains, he'll fire you, not me."
Regina pats Janis on the cheek with a serene smile and walks back to the cabin. Janis stands there for a moment in disbelief, then reaches down and picks up the butt and throws it into the woods so no kids find it. Her cheek tingles where Regina had touched her.
Maybe she should just quit.

PROMPTS FROM CSI: CRIME SCENE INVESTIGATION *  assorted dialogue from season 1 of the show, adjust as necessary
you want to be different? pin me up against a wall; lay one on me like you mean it.
it could be four minutes. could be four days.
if you stay, with my right hand to god, you will never regret it.
i need you to roll up your sleeve and give me a pint of your blood.
how do you know all this crap?
it's our job to know stuff.
there are other ways to tell, you know.
i'm a scientist. i like to see it.
you're standing in my crime scene.
people leave us clues. they speak to us in thousands of different ways. it's our job to make sure we've tried to hear every single thing they've said.
stop flirting with me.
i can't believe i used to live in a place like this.
and here i had all this respect for you.
i come here for calamari.
well... that's good news.
no way. use your own hand.
you just compromised our investigation.
i guess you just have to be on the wrong end of an affair to understand.
look... could we have a truce?
blood's like my grandfather. never lies.
are you hitting on me, david?
you may not like where it takes you.
i think our killer was counting on that.
maybe i saw you perform.
what do you got for me? i could use a rush.
you don't owe me anything.
wow. you look so... normal.
when are we going to talk about what happened?
you'll have to excuse me.
somebody left a message. i need to see the rest of it.
you guys will never get it, will you?
you know, you can joke all you want. it's your ass on the line.
life's like holding a dove. you hold it too hard, you kill it. hold it too soft, and it'll fly away.
you look a little tired.
something very wrong happened in this plane.
now you want to go down that route?
please tell me you have something.
it took five people to kill him. it would have only taken one person to save his life.
you have empathy for her. you want someone to pay for what was done to her. that's normal.
you want to sleep with me?
how do you know about that already?
whoa. somebody likes their job.
hey! this has nothing to do with you!
why is it every time we meet you're wanting me to take my clothes off?
you weren't in your office.
you don't have a worry that technology is gonna make us obsolete?
next time, why don't you try talking to me instead of going around behind my back?
what the hell are you doing?
i don't know whether i'll help you or not.
i don't mean to stare.
am i disturbing you?
what are you so afraid of?
you could be a little more supportive.
you just love that, don't you?
i would never doubt your word.
how a person does one thing is how a person does everything.
so are you thinking what i'm thinking?
someone's bitter.
you're awake. i hate you.
i slept like a baby yesterday.
do you need a hand with that?
are you looking for work?
you can't read anymore?
i can't drink any more coffee. my body clock is so screwed up.
what do you drive?
how much do you make so you can take care of me?
caught in the act.
every day we meet people on the worst day of their lives.
i wish i were like you. i wish i didn't feel anything.
what do you do for fun?

STICK SEASON: WE'LL ALL BE HERE FOREVER.
taken from the 2023 album by noah kahan. trigger warnings for mental illness, trauma, medication, references to suicide, and the exquisite agony of life in rural new england. feel free to change wording and pronouns and provide context as necessary. do not add to this list.
northern attitude.
how you been?
you settled down?
you feelin’ right?
you feelin’ proud?
you settle in to routine.
what does it mean?
i’m not how you hoped.
you’re gettin’ lost.
scared to live, scared to die.
you’re feelin’ lost.
stick season.
you must’ve had yourself a change of heart.
now i am stuck between my anger and the blame that i can’t face.
it’s half my fault, but i just like to play the victim.
i’ll dream each night of some version of you that i might not have but i did not lose.
i thought that if i piled something good on all my bad i could cancel out the darkness i inherited from dad.
i miss the way you laugh.
you once called me forever now you still can’t call me back.
that’ll have to do.
my other half was you.
i hope this pain’s just passin’ through, but i doubt it.
all my love.
how have things been?
well, love, now that you mention it.
i’m sayin’ too much, but you know how it gets out here.
now i know your name, but not who you are.
it’s all okay, there ain’t a drop of bad blood.
you got all my love.
if you need me, dear, i’m the same as i was.
what i’d give to have you out of me.
i still recall how the leather in your car feels.
and at the end of it all, i just hope that your scars heal.
i swear i was scared to death.
i smiled stupid the whole way home.
you said, ‘i’ll never let you go.’
she calls me back.
there was heaven in your eyes.
everything’s alright.
look at me and don’t you lie.
don’t you hold your head up high.
for bullshit, i do not have time.
do you lie awake restless?
why am i so obsessive?
this town’s the same as you left it.
the radio is taunting me.
i don’t get much sleep most nights.
i’m seeing you in every dream.
if only i could fall asleep.
i’ll love you when the oceans dry.
i was too afraid of living life in your footsteps.
come over.
it was there when we got here, will be there when we leave.
you won’t have to guess who they’re speakin’ about.
i’m in the process of clearin’ out cobwebs.
i was takin’ the wrong meds; feels good to be sad.
my house is just barely big enough for my family.
my mouth was designed for my foot to fit in it.
i promise you, darlin’.
you won’t ever go back.
i know that it ain’t much.
i know that it ain’t cool.
you don’t have to tell the other kids at school.
someday i’m gonna be somebody people want.
new perspective.
makin’ me nostalgic.
we were kids; but that don’t make this less hard.
if i could fly i doubt i’d even do it.
i’d probably get high and crash or somethin’ stupid.
gave me your word.
i can’t pronounce it.
no thing so sure that i can’t learn to doubt it.
everywhere, everything.
would we survive in a horror movie?
we trust everyone we meet.
we’re littered with scars from our preteens.
i wanna love you ‘til we’re food for the worms to eat.
‘til our fingers decompose, keep my hand in yours.
i know every route in this county.
maybe that ain’t such a bad thing.
i’ll tell you where not to speed.
it’s been a long year.
orange juice.
honey, come over.
it’s yours if you want it.
we’re just glad you could visit.
feels like i’ve been ready for you to come home for so long.
i didn’t think to ask you where you’d gone.
why’d you go?
my heart has changed and my soul has changed.
you just asked me to hold you.
it made you a stranger and it filled you with anger.
my life has changed.
the world has changed.
don’t you find it strange that you just went ahead and carried on?
are we all just pullin’ you down?
strawberry wine.
darling, speak to me.
don’t you say a word.
you thought you were cursed?
i’m in love with every song you’ve ever heard.
if i could lose you, i would.
all the time we used to have.
the things i miss but know are never coming back.
no thing defines a man like love that makes him soft.
growing sideways.
finally found some middle ground.
i said, ‘i’m cured.’
i divvied up my anger into thirty separate parts.
i’m still angry at my parents for what their parents did to them.
it’s a start.
but i ignore things and i move sideways ‘til i forget what i felt in the first place.
i know there are worse ways to stay alive.
everyone’s growing and everyone’s healthy.
if my engine works perfect on empty, i guess i’ll drive.
i forgot my medication, fell into a manic high.
now i’m sufferin’ in style.
why is pain so damn impatient? ain’t like it’s got a place to be.
if all my time was wasted, i don’t mind.
i’ll watch it go.
it’s better to die numb than feel it all.
halloween.
the dawn isn’t here, the sun hasn’t rose.
they got money to make and children back home.
i worry for you, you worry for me.
the bridges have long since been burnt.
i’m leavin’ this town and i’m changin’ my address.
i know that you’ll come if you want.
i’m losin’ myself.
i’m seein’ my life on a screen.
i know that you fear that i’m wicked and weary.
i know that you’re fearin’ the end.
i only tell the truth when i’m sure that i’m lyin’.
homesick.
are you bored yet?
the weather ain’t been bad if you’re into masochistic bullshit.
this place is such great motivation for anyone tryna move the fuck away from hibernation.
time moves so damn slow i swear i feel my organs failing.
i stopped caring ‘bout a month ago, since then it’s been smooth sailing.
i would leave if only i could find a reason.
i got dreams, but i cant make myself believe them.
i’ll spend the rest of my life with what could have been.
i will die in the house that i grew up in.
i’m homesick.
still.
i don’t wanna say goodbye.
it only falls into place when you’re fallin’ to pieces.
you miss something that you can’t place but you can’t deny it.
you can’t stay here.
it’s hard to face and it feels too ugly.
it’s like i’m still here with you.
can i fix what is broken?
the view between villages (extended).
for a minute, the world seems so simple.
i am not scared of death.
i’ve got dreams again.
there is meanin’ on earth.
i feel so far from it.
it’s all washin’ over me.
i’m angry again.
the things that i lost here, the people i knew.
they got me surrounded for a mile or two.
i found a town big enough for anything i want.
i’m not a city girl, by any means.
it still has a lot of meaning to me.
i grew up there.
your needs, my needs.
you ain’t gotta tell me what it means.
i promise to be there this time. alright?
you were a work of art.
that’s the hardest part.
i’m naming the stars in the sky after you.
dial drunk.
i promised to forget you.
i ain’t takin’ any fault.
am i half the man i used to be? i doubt it.
forget about it, whatever.
it’s all the same anyways.
i ain’t proud of all the punches that i’ve thrown.
for the shame of being young, drunk, and alone.
i gave your name as my emergency phone call.
i’d die for you.
from charmin’ to alarmin’ in seconds.
i’ll let the pain metastasize.
i beg you, sir, just let me call.
let’s wait, i swear she’ll call me back.
son, are you a danger to yourself?
fuck that, sir.
son, why do you do this to yourself?
paul revere.
this place had a heartbeat in its day.
nothin’ was the same.
it just ain’t that simple, it never was.
one day i’m gonna cut it clear.
i’m not from around here.
i’ll leave before the road crew’s out.
i’ll turn up the music and i’ll forget.
i’m not ready to let go yet.
i’ll just pretend i didn’t hear.
it’s typical, i fear.
folks just disappear.
if i could leave, i would’ve already left.
no complaints.
i thought i had something and that’s the same as having something.
i get mad at nothing.
i pull no punches, then feel bad for months.
thought i was raised better, tried to fake better.
now the weight of the world ain’t so bad.
i saw the end, it looks just like the middle.
i filled the hole in my head with prescription medication.
who am i to complain?
now the pain’s different. It still exists, it just escapes different.
yes, i’m young and living dreams.
i’m in love with being noticed and afraid of being seen.
call your mom.
oh, you’re spiralin’ again.
don’t you cancel any plans.
stayed on the line with you the entire night ‘til you let it out and let it in.
don’t let this darkness fool you.
i’ll drive all night.
i’ll call your mom.
oh, dear, don’t be discouraged.
i’ve been exactly where you are.
if you could see yourself like this.
you’dve never tried it.
stayed on the line with you the entire night ‘til you told me that you had to go.
throw a punch, fall in love, give yourself a reason.
don’t wanna drive another mile wonderin’ if you’re breathin’.
won’t you stay with me?
you’re gonna go far.
this is good land, or at least it was.
it takes a strong hand and a sound mind.
it makes me smile to know when things get hard, you’ll be far from here.
pack up your car.
put a hand to your heart.
say whatever you feel.
be wherever you are.
we ain’t angry at you, love.
you’re the greatest thing we’ve lost.
the birds will still sing.
we’ll be waiting for you, love.
we’ll all be here forever.
we spent so long just getting by.
that’s the thing about survival; who the hell likes livin’ just to die?
you told me you would make a difference.
it won’t be by your own volition if you step foot outside this town.
it’s all we’ve had for always.
you’re gonna go far.
if you wanna go far, then you gotta go far.
forever.
let’s drive for no reason.
you look fine in the evening.
honey, it’s starting to storm.
used to wish i meant anything to anywhere, to anyone.
i’m glad i get forever to see where you end.
i won’t be alone for the rest of my life.
i’ll meet a girl in the heat of july.
i’ll tell her so she knows.
i’m broke, but i’m real rich in my head.
when i hold her close, i might loosen my grip, but i won’t ever let her go.

"did i do good?" for the prompt game!!
"Did I do good?"
Sokka meets Zuko's eyes in the mirror where he is standing behind him, Sokka perched on a stool. He had looked so adorable while focused on the braid, and Sokka's heart melts even more as he sees the expectant, hopeful look on his face now. Sokka's eyes shift toward the new braid in his hair that Zuko is showing him, and Sokka reaches his fingers up to feel it.
"It's not terrible," Sokka admits, but Zuko's shoulders droop anyway. "Hey, stop that! It's not that bad."
Zuko groans. "But it's not good."
"It's not good yet," Sokka corrects, trying to pretend he isn't loving the adorable little pout on his husband's lips. "The tension isn't quite right. Here, I'll show you again."
Sokka watches his hands in the mirror, reaching up to grab some hair next to Zuko's attempt at the braid and dividing it into even sections. He starts braiding, the movements as natural to him as breathing, but he goes very slowly so Zuko can follow along. He glances at his husband's face to see a crease between his eyebrows as he watches Sokka work, and Sokka bites back a smile.
He gets to the end of the braid and ties it off, then holds the two of them to each other so Zuko can see the difference. "See? Yours really isn't that bad, you just have to make the braid tighter so it will last longer."
"Okay. I got it," Zuko says, a determined look on his face that is so fierce, Sokka can't hold back a laugh.
"Hey, don't make fun of me," he complains, giving Sokka's shoulder a small, teasing shove.
"I'm not!" Sokka says quickly. "Honestly, it's just so adorable. It really does mean a lot that you're trying to learn for Izumi."
"By the time her hair is long enough, I'll be a master at braiding," Zuko vows. "Okay, I'll just undo my first one and--"
"Nah, leave it in," Sokka says. "I like it."
Zuko meets his eyes in the mirror again and grins, kissing the top of his head before grabbing the comb.

I love Beatrice feels about Avas gender identity (or lack of). And how, for Beatrice, her womanhood is still an important part of her, even if she expresses that part differently than other women. And how Bea is just down for the ride when Ava experiments with their gender expression, just endless support and love and just letting Ava try out whatever they want. Like the scene with the binder, Ava wasnt visibly uncomfortable or weirded out, she just said that it wasnt something for her, and Bea never discouraged her of trying it out by telling her that she wouldnt like it, or other masculine things that fit better, like the suit. So yeah, thanks for having someone like Ava who doenst give a fuck about how she "should" dress and act as told by society and then Beatrice, for whom womanhood is still an important part of, but she puts her personal own spin on it, so she still feels like herself and happy. So, yeah you said you already have two butch!Bea prompts, so I just wanted to request a Avatrice fic with some happy gender expressions/feels it doesnt have to be butch!Bea AU, if you want. But yeah, I love how you write Beas butch style but still in touch with her womanhood. (And of course her kicking ass in Aikaido class ;) )
‘wow,’ you say, a little breathless. ava grins, spins around in their tuxedo slacks and button down with the sleeves rolled up to their elbows, an old binder of yours that’s loose on them but still offers some compression underneath, paired with patent leather loafers and a tie loose around their neck. they’ve slicked their hair back neatly and are grinning, arms outstretched. ‘you look amazing.’
‘yeah?’
‘of course,’ you say, as if there was any other possibility. ava wraps her arm around your waist and looks in the mirror at the both of you together: it’s a little different, because you’re used to ava in the dresses and crop tops and flowy pants he loves, an old favorite pair of overalls — but it’s, like, really, really hot. you’ve learned through your friends and therapy and ava’s own deep exuberance around queerness that you really are in love in so many of its forms, the textures it takes and allows; while you feel much, much better and safer and more comfortable and at ease in yourself when you’re in loose, easy pants, your chest flat, your hair short, you have never begrudged ava their expansion. they’ve seen so, so much, lived through more pain than anyone should ever have to, so everything about them, even at their most annoying, is beautiful to you.
‘if i wore a packer into a cathedral, do you think i would be struck down or something?’
it takes a second too long for your brain to get unstuck from the heat that races down your spine; ava smirks. ‘are you —‘ unfortunately your voice comes out a little strangled and you have to regroup — ‘are you wearing one?’
‘nah,’ ava says. ‘thought about it, but these pants are kinda tight and if i have to sit through some dumbass pomp and circumstance at the vatican i’m at least going to be comfortable.’
you hum, the best you can do.
‘maybe i’ll wear it tomorrow with that new skirt i got in madrid though,’ she says, far too casual for the victorious expression on her face.
‘well, you do know god best.’
‘that’s so true,’ ava says, preening again and then turning toward you. ‘gender expression, totally cool with god, if you can believe that.’
‘i suppose i can.’ ava’s smirk softens into an easy smile, one you revel in every time it’s for you, the way sunflowers turn toward the sun.
‘plus, this little vest situation you have going on is, like, so hot. god can’t begrudge me your arms, not after all i’ve done.’
you huff at their obvious delight in flustering you, but it’s summer and very hot and, really, the light sweater vest you’d picked out to go with your very church-appropriate slacks is also quite tame.
‘i love you,’ they say, softening again, and kiss your cheek. ‘now, let’s go scandalize some conservatives, shall we?’
you laugh, unable to resist ava’s warmth, again and again. ‘we shall.’

An AU where the main six are corrupt versions of their elements and have to learn to be better versions of their elements for example Apple Jack would still be the element of honesty but she would be brutally honest often hurting people feelings or pinkie Pie is the element of laughter but instead of making others laugh she does things that only make her laugh even if it hurts others

interview with the vampire by anne rice parts i & ii
this really happened, didn't it?
people who cease to believe in god or goodness all together still believe in the devil.
i thought you wanted to die, (name).
have you ever lost a great amount of blood? do you know the feeling?
don't fall so madly in love with the night that you lose your way!
do it. you can't turn back now.
i'll kill them all.
the fact is i want you gone from here.
you'll never forgive me, will you? not now, not even after i'm dead.
did i give you the impression that i could not feel?
do you think that angels are detached?
why have you come to me tonight?
i believe you come from the devil!
be prepared to kill!
i thought only of you, when i had no need to think of you at all.
you think i come from the devil?
i am to live to the end of the world, and i do not even know what i am!
good night, sweet prince.
you're being morbid!
it's only for a moment and there'll be no more pain.
i will not die, i cannot die.
are you afraid of me, (name)?
tell me what a monster i am.
what do you think a vampire is?
you are in love with your mortal nature.
does it bring you happiness?
you're dead, love.
all this time, i suppose i kept from straightening you out because you were best weaker.
it's as if you want us both to be destroyed.
i can't stand to watch what you're doing.
you won't let me die, will you?
i can't remember my sins.
let me show you what you are.
evil is a point of view.
i don't want it if it hurts you.
i should have known that it was inevitable.
did you bury them?
i bought this from one of the vendors.
you made us what we are, didn't you?
you could be dead by now if you were mortal!
be glad i made you what you are.
kill with me tonight.
i cannot bear to lose you.
you're the only companion i have in immortality.
aren't you the same as i?
i was your victim!
he will not let us go.
why do you never talk about him?
i want to make peace with you. i want things to be as they were.
i take care of you. you don't need anything.
come down into the darkness. let it all go away.
we deserve to die.
i did it for us. so we could be free.
do you want to come into the confessional?
do you fear god at all?
let the flesh instruct the mind.
someone followed me.
why do you look that way at me?
you don't understand the danger of fear itself.
what can the damned really say to the damned?
the night's no time for travelling.
i think i'm going mad!
do you think he knows we're coming?
let me lead you. there's no turning back now.
take me into your arms.
don't you sense the danger? can't you breathe it like the air?
do you hear it?
the final decision will always rest with you.

The whumper used to be the caretaker’s best friend, and they had been extremely close- so the caretaker was horrified when they found the whumpee, beaten and bruised in the whumper’s home. At first the caretaker didn’t want to believe it, but the whumper begged for them to understand why they enjoyed hurting the whumpee so much. The argument ended when the caretaker forcibly took the whumpee with them, knowing that the whumper would eventually try to come begging for forgiveness, but they didn’t care, they needed to take care of the person their old friend had hurt so much.

Brad Wayne, but instead of finding out the other Wayne’s are the Bats, he just finds out random secrets that stem from them being Bats. Bruce spent a few months in a Himalayan monetary, Dick almost married Starfire, Barbara owns a whole clocktower, Jason designed super bullets, et cetra.
Ohhhh yes. Brad may be stupid but he’s not an idiot, he knows when something’s strange and he’s got a good enough memory to write down the stuff he hears. He really just thinks they’re strange and traumatized, however. When the family finally thinks he’s not going to connect the dots and decide to mess with him, they don’t realize he’d remember all of it and write it down to try and tell his guys about them what. Looking back at the list doesn’t make him confident that they’ll believe him, though.
- Bruce was penpals/chess buddies with the penguin
- Bruce isn’t actually an alcoholic he just wants an excuse to get away from conversation
- Dick owns a circus and was a cop. And a museum curator. And a male model (note to self just check his IMDB) probably indecision from his parents not being around?
- Dick grew up with an elephant and still visits it sometimes, so sad
- They all speak at least 5 languages (proof: Bruce and totally-not-Jason-Todd argued about ice cream in like Ukrainian or something and then switched to some kind of Asian language)
- Jason is also legally dead so maybe he’s a ghost or something but that doesn’t explain how he attends Shakespeare book club with Alfred. Maybe Alfred can see ghosts? PTSD?
- Tim is like 17 and runs some of the company but didn’t even really graduate school ??
- Damian has a pet cow and also grew up on a remote island
- Dick was engaged to Starfire TWICE
- Stephanie’s dad was Cluemaster (really bad spin-off of the riddler) which explains why she’s good at wordle
- Alfred has so many guns but Bruce doesn’t really do anything about it, something about Alfred having been a spy in the past? Dude can do makeup like no one’s business tho
- Damian has even more family on his mom’s side but won’t talk about them other than the fact that his brother’s name is Respawn, what kinda name is that ?
- Pretty sure Tim only knows how to make soup. Also his friend looks JUST like Superman it’s crazy

What are some censorship rules that you feel you could most comfortably poke fun at without feeling like you could get in some kind of trouble or ending up on some watchlist for doing?
I guess the FOSTA/SESTA censorship law is a pretty miserable piece of legislation that has had a net negative impact on society since day 1. If I could find something funny about it, I'd definitely go for that one.
Although, you can make fun of it directly without being put on some watchlist, though keep in mind this is the law that laid groundwork for online surveillance/suppression of sex workers, and is basically the blueprint for some anti-abortion legislation proposals that would make it illegal to discuss obtaining abortions online. so if some people have their way, someday you COULD get put on a list for giving tips and info online to those seeking abortions. but i digress.
#yes i know anon was prob asking about china but i don't have an answer to that as i'm not at risk of ending up on any chinese watchlists#and i don't have a direct line to the NRTA to find out what gets you on any watchlists anyway, surprise surprise#You probably wouldn't get put on a list anyway#you'd probably just get perma banned from whatever platform you were posting on if you kept breaking their rules about what you can mention#the most basic of censorship rules for most sites i don't think anyone would have a problem with anyway bc most ppl in china agree w them#[these rules usually include no nazi flags or imperial japanese (rising sun) flag depictions, adhering to 1 china policy in discussions#not spreading superstition#or promoting belief in the superstitious]#I see netizens openly complain about topics being suppressed from search trends all the time it's probably (i'm guessing) not as sensitive#as you think#like you'd have to really be causing a scene to get taken note of#anyway sometimes i get what are essentially like. idk. essay prompts. in my inbox#and i just need you all to know i'm dumb as bricks and i don't keep up with international politics in any significant way#answered ask#text#...I guess to actually answer the question I think you could probably make fun of censorship of ghosts and witches a lot#the film censor bureau really shoots itself in the foot with the censorship laws. the chinese film horror genre is a fucking joke#and i see chinese netizens complaining that the domestic movie censorship has gone too far all the time#It's really a shame bc it's stifling some great story telling and everyone knows it
