Jason and Percy look like symbolic white boys, although in fact one of them is an American German, the other is a mixed Latino
Yep, and one of them feels proud of his mortal heritage, while the other was taught to care more about his Olympian and Roman blood.

Pjo Toh au
Percy:Luz,including being afro-dominican,but instead of a gnc bi girl, she's a femme trans girl who uses being on the Isles to present as femake openly, and instead of a normal human, she's the daughter of a Poseidon Seaworth, the corrupted head of the Abomination Coven. She still invents all tracks because #RebelGirl but has Abomination as her main and her palisman is a blue shark named Riptide.Ends the series by realizing she never wanted to go to college and is much happier and fufilled by working a part time job at McDonalds and alternating between living in her two worlds
Persephone:Eda.She was cursed by a man(Hades)who pursued her fresh out of Hexside for rejecting him to turn into a butterfly beast and became known as 'The Butterfly Lady' as she took up a life of crime since she couldn't live normally anymore. All but outright adopts Percy over the course of the series and in the epilogue sequence,we see her and Sally have become a couple. Her palisman is called Belladonna and she was a part of the Plant Coven
Cerberus:King.Self-explanatory
Rachel:Willow.Oracle Coven, called 'Freaky Frizzy Rachel' by her bullies for her powerful and unexpected visions and becomes one of the most powerful witches ever thanks to Percy coming along and helping her with her self-eestem.Percy had a one-sided crush on her that everyone but her knew about and her palisman is a duck called Delphi
Grover:Gus and still a satyr.Held back student at Hexside due to needing special ed who becomes considered the coolest guy at school as his Percy induced character development sets in and gains a good reputation across the Isles too as word spreads of him.Bard Coven with a baby goat palisman called Enchilada(Percy introduced him to them and now it's an addiction)
Clarisse:Amity.Born to a misogynistic father and multiple brothers who all taught him to bully people,Percy and his clashes' made him have a redemption arc and they became found siblings. He's a transmasc he/him butch lesbian and Silena is his Skara equivalent(blackness included)and eventual femme girlfriend. His palisman is rottwieler called Bonesbreaker and he's a Construction main but joins Percy in all tracking
Nico:Hunter. He's a Grimwalker of Emperor Luke's favorite cousin, with the original having been named Nicholas Castellan, and was told his black eyes made him not a witch but a demon but started to love them and himself when Percy told him they reminded her of obsidian stones.Starts staying at The Butterfly House post-Hollow Mind and his new family and friends help him out with preparing for when he goes to Hexside and ofc his general healing journey. He's multitrack with Healing main and his palismans are named Fries and Nugget
Hazel:Darius and Vee.A child genius who was extremely adultified for it and an orphan who was found by the Golden Guard before Nico, who took care of her like his own child and died tragically, leaving her in Luke's 'care'.He treated her as an annoying adoptee until her talent started showing and then he thrusted her into working for him, specifically under Poseidon's teachings since she was especially good at Abominations. She escaped to the Human Realm and used Illusions to pretend to be Percy, who was understanding of her situation when she explained it and Hazel told her they were sisters now right just as Percy went back to the Demon Realm.Hazel hesitantly goes to visit her once and becomes friends with Nico too thanks to her timing, being the one to create the 'Mystical Misfits' group chat(Consisting of her,the Hexside Squad,Persephone and eventually Sally as an honorary member)
Leo:Mat.They're literally the same person and also now i ship him and Grover(Greo??Leover?????Eh we'll work on it). Also this is means Beckendorf is Steve and that's too funny and fitting for me to not include it.Opens up multitrack for his school and he's Construction with a dragon palisman called Festus
Thalia:Azura.Yes,the in-universe fictional character-Percy sees her as an inspiration so it feels fitting and the series is instead called 'The No Good Witch Thalia' and is dark kids media. Also,Thalia was accidentally trans-coded by the author which made Percy's egg crack💙💙💙💙💙💙
(I have no ideas for the Collector, sorry)

This is gonna be a long ask. Sorry.
So I have seen a lot of discourse about the race of Annabeth chase. And as a black girl, I would like to provide my personal input about it.
Having Leah Jeffries portray this major character in the Percy Jackson universe is extremely important to black people, and I’m sure you know this (seeing that you are black too).
It Adds way more depth to Annabeth’s character.
The whole thing of her not being listened or paid attention to because she’s a dumb blonde has way less significance than her not being paid attention to or taken seriously because she’s a black girl. Period.
And also the fact that Annabeth has ADHD and dyslexia is also extremely important when it comes to her being portrayed by a black girl. And the reason I say this is because black people‘s mental health is not paid attention to.
It is rarely shown in media that black people can have personality disorders, autism, ADHD, dyslexia, any other mental health issues and to see someone neurodivergent and also black will be AMAZING representation.
And the whole thing of “well I don’t want all the Athena kids to be black/mixed”… WTF. FUCK YOU (not actually you, I mean the person who wrote that).
Race isn’t something inherited from the gods. Nico di Angelo is a white Italian and Hazel is freaking black American. And guess what, they’re half siblings.
The only thing that you could consider “integral” is the hair and eyes thing, but even the author doesn’t consider that important. AND HE WROTE IT.
And also, saying “this isn’t the Annabeth that I grew up with blah blah blah”. Stfu. Annabeth’s race wasn’t specified, you just THOUGHT she was white.
This isn’t directed at you, this is directed at all the racist white people I keep seeing who will eventually come across this ask.
And one more thing, white people and POC DO NOT FACE THE SAME ISSUES.
One person said this: I would be JUST as pissed if, down the road, they cast Hazel as a white girl, Leo as a blonde white kid, Piper and Frank as ANYTHING other than Cherokee and Chinese. What they are in the book is what I want to see on the screen.
YOU DO NOT GET IT.
Yes, race isn’t important to those characters, but you’re forgetting one thing, REPRESENTATION.
Natives are BARELY even mentioned in media, so Piper being Native IS IMPORTANT.
Asian people are rarely represented as normal people so Frank Zhang being Chinese IS IMPORTANT.
Latinos are so stereotyped in media so Leo being Latino IS IMPORTANT.
Annabeth being white isn’t representative of anything because white people are seen literally everywhere. ITS NOT IMPORTANT.
Yes, race isn’t integral to those characters, but REPRESENTATION IS IMPORTANT TO POC.
We just wish to be seen as normal. Is that so much to ask?
anon you should've made this it's own post because this is so so so important

I cannot recommend Aiden Thomas’s The Sunbearer Trials enough!!! I admittedly picked up the book bc the main character looked like Percy Jackson on the cover and man oh man was that a great idea. I’m not sure what mythology it was, but definitely one of the Latino kinds. Plus it was SUPER queer—the main character is a trans man! People are describing it as a mix between Percy jackson and the hunger games, so if you enjoy those books, pick it up!!!!

been ages since I've read Percy Jackson (I stopped reading RR's stuff after the Kane Chronicles so I can't speak on the Magnus Chase series either) and while with adult hindsight some stuff could for sure be called stereotypical or problematic, all the characters were still like... characters? RR clearly cared about them while writing them so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Leo was also a grease monkey who was constantly tinkering with machines and stuff and I can't remember he being particularly flirty in the way the Latino stereotype typically plays out, just maybe more interested in girls in general than other male characters (who usually had specific love interests at that point while Leo's came in late in the series) and was well liked by a few girls in return (which, Percy also got quite a few admirers as well). Piper, while the Cherokee stuff was also sometimes stereotypical according to people who know more than me, stole stuff because her dad was super rich and it was a way to get his attention so the klepto stuff was not related to her being Cherokee.
(also if we're talking rep, RR did great in terms of non-normative family and parents as well. Most characters came from single parent or mixed family households or no parents at all. Lots of characters have complicated relationships with their parents, ranging from neglect to abuse to parents who can't be good parents despite trying to great parents in bad situations to dead parents, there's a lot of variety there and the effects of parenthood is a huge presence in his books)
I'm not saying it was all good. Just that the characters themselves were given a lot more than just a stereotype even though sometimes they did enter that territory. It feels like RR accidentally fell into that stuff while trying to give legitimate representation that actually addressed the heritage of his characters rather than just saying they were X and then never having it effect their characters or the story which would be its own problem. He clearly put in a lot of effort, it's just this is what you risk when you actually try to write diverse characters--you make mistakes. We can still critique it but it's by far better than a lot of children's authors who duck the issue by having none or only background representation. The end result isn't perfect but RR's books have an incredibly diverse cast made up of compelling characters the intended audience can relate to. Also that anon was also weirdly fixated on the characters finding each other attractive which was a thing almost always noted by the POV character as far back as when Percy was the only narrator so idk how that's relevant.
(Also complaining about a fictional book series for children butchering several mythologies--that's the entire point? It's a fun creative "Greek/Egyptian/Norse gods exist in the modern day" romp that draws inspiration from mythology but retells them with a modern twist and in funny ways kids will pay attention to. It's not entirely accurate but the Greek Gods are living above the Empire State Building)

Yeah, they seem not only very upset at teen sexuality but convinced that I will agree with them, which... Hahaha.

I wasn’t gonna say anything but y’all are annoying me so here we go:
1. ‘Why isn’t Reyna a lesbian?’
Right. Rick said she was ace, that’s it. She can still like girls, boys whatever but given her current situation as a hunter I’d call it a day and accept that she’s ace (and also stop sleeping on Lavinia, Jo and Emmie three very important kick-ass lesbians). Also, Rick said it was completely up to you to interpret if she’s gay or not but you cannot erase the fact that she is asexual. That’s not up to you and to deny it would be complete erasure of important representation.
2. So why can Percy be bisexual if Reyna can’t be a lesbian?
Like I said, Reyna is ace. You can’t take that away. Rick has said that Percy’s sexuality is up for interpretation so it’s different to Reyna’s situation. You wouldn’t be erasing representation by assuming Percy’s bi but you would be denying the fact that Reyna is ace by saying she is solely a lesbain. As said before, she can be an asexual lesbian but YOU CANNOT ERASE THE FACT THAT SHE IS ACE, PERIOD.
3. ‘Why hasn’t Rick represented (insert minority here) yet?
First off, give the poor guy a break. How many authors do you know that have given the sheer amount of representation that Rick has given? How many authors, despite all the backlash received simply by making Nico gay, continued and ignored the hate because normalising this stuff was more important? How many authors have used their platform the way he has? To name a few, how many authors have characters who are ADHD, dyslexic, homeless, from single-parent households, from abusive (physical and emotional) households, from gay parents, gay, lesbian, bisexual, gender fluid, asexual, aromantic, pansexual, black, Chinese, Canadian, Latino, Italian,  Spanish, Portuguese, non-binary, deaf, Jewish and mixed-race? And, to top it all off, he does it without all the stereotypes. This man has honestly done so well for all the casual, non-stereotypical representation he has given. He allows kids everywhere to see themselves normalised and accepted into fiction and it’s incredible. I remember reading Trials of Apollo and crying because there was an openly bisexual male main character who was happy and accepted. Imagine how important this is to kids, to see themselves where usually the would not. I’m so sorry if he hasn’t included every single minority out there but you need to appreciate the man for what he’s done so far because it’s genuinely amazing.
4. Trials of Apollo was just a money grab/ fan service
It was not a fan service, it brought some extremely sensitive topics to light and had some incredibly important representation that y’all sleep on. In my opinion, I think Trials of Apollo is just more grown up that Percy Jackson and is something that you have to stick with. Twelve year old me found Apollo insufferable as a main character and the plot to mature, now I’m older and I relate so much easier to it and appreciate Apollo’s narrative way more than before. Percy Jackson and Trials of Apollo are aimed at different audiences and that’s a fact. It has incredibly well developed characters and deals with themes that most younger kids are gonna find difficult to understand fully. Plus, unlike Heroes of Olympus, Rick understood that this was Apollo’s tale, not Percy’s or Annabeth’s or anyone else’s and kept the OG characters as side characters like they should be and that’s what got y’all mad. Accept that it’s a more mature book and you’re just whining for the sake of it.
4. Magnus Chase was basically a fan service and he tried to hard to please us
...Where? Personally Magnus Chase was one of the most well developed series Rick has ever written. It had some amazing characters and dealt with some pretty sensitive stuff. You can’t erase what was written and if you think it’s a fan service just be grateful we have an amazing author that doesn’t mind giving you representation next time you read J K Rowling telling us Dobby was a twink. Because that is what you call crappy fan service as an attempt to recover from her recent comments. We have an unproblematic, sweet author so be grateful.
In short, y’all need to stop. We used to be such an incredibly sweet fandom and I am not gonna sit here and watch you all become toxic. The entire reason the Riordanverse exists is because Rick wanted his son to be able to see kids like him in fiction. And then he wanted to go further and make sure all kids saw themselves in fiction. That in itself is incredible and honestly Rick does not get enough appreciation for that. The last thing he wants is for us to begin hating each other for things we cannot help, such as race or sexuality. Please, please I am begging the entire fandom right now, be kind. You don’t have to agree with someone to give them respect.

On Harry Potter and Percy Jackson:
London is diverse sure but most of England isn’t. The diversity statistics state in England and Wales 80% are white. Asian (Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi etc) ‘groups’ make up 6.8%, while 3.8% are black, 0.7% are Chinese, 0.4% are Arab and others are 0.6% - according to the IRR.
In America the statistics are: non Hispanic or Latino white people at 60%, Hispanic and Latino people with 18.5% of the population, while 13.4% are black, 1.3% are Native American, 5.9% are Asian, 0.2% are native Hawaiian and 2.8% are mixed race.
Also Harry Potter was published in 1997 - I read a lot and it was one of of the few if not only book that actually had diversity at the time. Percy Jackson was published 8 years later in 2005. In the first Harry Potter book there were the Parvati and Padma Patil, Indian twins, Dean Thomas and Angelina Johnson and Lee Jordan - all black. While others are depicted as white there are loads of characters potentially ambiguous. Those are the names ones who matter in some way. Rather than side characters mentioned occasionally. In Percy Jackson while in the movie Grover was played by a black actor it’s never state sun the books, in fact I had to research any within the first few books and it takes until the third book for any POC to be prominent: Ethan Nakamura, Charles Beckendorf (depicted as black in original art but not mentioned in the book itself) and Chris Rodriguez.
I am not denying that in later books he diversified the Percy Jackson world, and that he had a variety of people within his books - but the last Harry Potter book came out in 2007. The same year the third book in the Percy Jackson series was released and it hadn’t even matched it. Also to add JK Rowling write it while in Spain and took the book when she fled her abusive ex to Scotland. Spains statistics are actually done by country of birth as far as I can tell and are 86.3% Spanish, 1.8% Moroccan, 1.3% Romanian and 10.5% other, while Scotland where she completed and edited the books have statistics of: 96% of the population being white, while 2.7% are Asian, 1% are black and the remaining 0.3% being identified as mixed, multiple or other. But in 2001 (halfway through her writing the books) this percentage was 98% white.
Although as I looked this up I found that londons statistics on its own show: 59.79% of the population are white, while 18.49% are Asian, 13.2% are black, 4.96% are mixed and 3.44% are only identified as other.
That’s why demographics count and why comparing two different areas and writers who live in different areas, countries times is difficult. Also we could go into how the online fandom space likely adapted how Rick wrote and keep thinking know what fans wanted. Which didn’t become big until later. JKRowling didn’t have internet when she wrote the first Harry Potter she had a typewriter. So online research…
I’m not saying any of this to have a go just to show the comparison is not necessarily correct or as easy as people believe and many factors come into it (including a law that prevented any material that could possibly be seen as promoting gay people from being published until it was removed in 2003 in the U.K. which is why that wasn’t there though her later books have much more diversity in this and all ways)
.

Percy Jackson looks like the perfect white American child - milky skin, blond hair, blue eyes and cute, only slightly ecotic facial features.
Poseidon looked like the ideal American beauty of the 50s when he spent the summer with Sally Jackson, a beautiful Latin American.
Sally's skin is warm and caramel brown, her black, large curls fall to her waist.
A Percy was born as white as sea foam.
As Sally gives milk to her baby for the first time, the nurse sternly asks her if she is feeding a baby whose mother has no milk or if she is a surrogate mother. This is the first case and far from the last.
This is great, well done!
If we want to go closer to the book description of Percy, then maybe as he grows up, his hair becomes darker, and his eyes become more of a greenish blue aquamarine colour, like a vast expanse of sea in the daylight.
His pale white complexion stays the same, though, and Sally ends up having to deal with a lot of impolite questions about her child’s parentage. Percy also sometimes wished that he looked more like his mother to fit in with the other Hispanic kids his age when he was young.

percabeth having kids hcs because i’m planning on writing a story about them having a family. please respect the names and features i’ve chosen for the kids
(percy is latino in this, so it affects how i designed their children)
annabeth never changed her name to jackson when they got married, so they give the kids ‘jackson-chase’
they have two daughters and a son: aubrey (oldest) , claire (middle) , and elija (youngest)
aubrey is 15, claire is 8, and elija is 3
aubrey has darker skin like percy, curly black hair and grey eyes
claire has tanned skin, wavy light brown hair and green eyes
elija is adopted and has dark skin, black hair, and dark brown eyes
they waited four years before they wanted to try and have kids again after aubrey, but annabeth had a miscarriage the first time, and it wasn’t until three years after that that claire was born
they decided that they wanted one more kid, but annabeth was too worried about miscarrying again, so they choose to adopt
they adopted elija from an orphanage, and the only thing they knew about the mother is that she was healthy
the orphanage said that elija’s mother didn’t want the baby and left almost immediately after he was born
aubrey always complains to percy and annabeth about being seven years older than claire, but annabeth always counters back with “you’re our built-in baby sitter honey”
percy and annabeth were always worried that one of their girls would show powers at some point, but they were relieved when aubrey made it to the age of 12 without any signs
claire, on the other hand, was only 6 when percy found out she could manipulate water
aubrey is more like percy, and claire is more like annabeth, with a few of their own traits mixed in, but they get along better with their respective parents
elija gets a lot more of percy’s attention than he does annabeth’s, because, even thought he loves his girls, percy always wanted to have a son

can we pleeeease talk about how rushed the whole Nico and Will relationship was? They talked for 2 minutes, don't see each other forever and boom they're together. Like ??? When did that happen? Certainly not in the books? (okay I haven't read the books in ages, but it felt so forced and extremely rushed or is it just me? I'm queer myself so I'm all for LGBTQ+ representation, but that's not it)
Alright let’s tackle this! Sorry for answering so late, I always answer asks that will be longer super late ^^ anyway. I’ve sorta received this ask twice but the other one has more focused on Nico with a little bit Solangelo on the side so I’ll just fully tackle the Solangelo side on this one.
I have three simple issues with Solangelo.
Age
Substance
Fandom
Alright. Let’s start off with the first point or problem. Age. Or rather time. As in timeline. Because we all know that Rick Riordan basically spins a wheel whenever it comes to his timeline and I won’t go fully into the maths because I’m terrible at it and I’m not in the mood for embarrassing myself in that metier. Anyway, let’s proceed. My question is: what is their canonical age? The one from Will and the one from Nico?
I’ve caught glimpse in a group convo at the fact that Will was supposed to be 18 actually if you pay close attention to pjo? And I mean Nico is like 15 or something? Which is also sorta wrong? Because Riordan made him younger than Hazel who was 14 in the Herpes of Olympus saga. 14 and 18 is a fuck no from me, son. I guess Riordan forgot that HOO essentially took place in two days or something.
Riordan aging his characters down or rather refusing to let them age (looking at you, Percy and Annabeth!) because it doesn't convenience him isn’t something new. So, should they be mathematically speaking have that much of an age gap, yeah. That is problematic. That’s Frazel level kinda problematic. Even worse. I know that people are more inclined to look past age gaps in same-sex relationships but I always wondered why? There’s still a disproportionate level of maturity + a mighty power imbalance. So yeah. Watch out for that. Also they’re kids. So there’s no need in tying the knot and popping expensive champagne for their wedding just yet.
I mean I don’t have a problem with the time traveling aspect as in Nico still being mentally and physically a kid/teen. A little odd, sure. It’s not like Nico and Will are Edward and Bella and Nico’s goth ass is mentally aging along and stalking Will’s sorry self. It’s still weird because it’s so unbelievable? Nico is barely struggling finding his way into the modern world, chills at Hades and calls it a day? Now that’s something I have an issue with. I need more struggle. I need more vocab mix-ups. Nico’s brain exploding at the modern world. The difference between the 1940s and the late 2000s is massive. That isn’t just oh, weird little haircuts and why are women wearing pants, it would be not being able to comprehend things and questioning every new little object. Will could’ve been an amazing support character for such an arch, buuuut I’m deviating from my actual point. The timeline/age-line in the Riordanverse is for sure more on the concerning part for all new characters + OG side characters.
Second point. Substance. The thing you’ve touched in your ask.
How and when did Nico and Will become a thing? My memory is terrible and I’m too lazy to browse the wiki. The only thing I remember was Will being a nagging bitch in Blood of Olympus after Nico essentially said “I've got to move on and be who I am, I just don't belong here, I hope you understand, we might find a place in this world someday, but at least for now... I gotta go my own way...” to Percy who just went ??? That marked the beginning for this ship. Basically. I think. Well... I said before in my Percabeth ship roast (more like ship analysis, I have to redo that, that was way too mild and unfunny, omfg): most of the romance is in your head because there’s barely anything romantic in Riordan’s books to begin with (which we all should actually be thankful for!). This applies to essentially every goddamn ship in this series but especially Solangelo. Holy fuck. Y’all are pulling out the wildest stuff out of your ass based on... what exactly? I mean props for creativity!
It is abundantly clear to me at least, that Riordan didn't write Nico with the intention of being gay. There was no real indication in the Percy Jackson series (and I refuse to believe that he was this sort of mastermind, that plotted about doing all of this behind Disney’s back to get the gays and latinos in. There’s a market for everything and diversity was a coming trend in the 2010s).
One could say: Hey! Isn’t it great that Nico wasn’t labeled as being gay? It normalizes homosexuality and makes sure that the lgbtq+ community isn’t something abstract but rather folk like me and you. And to that I’d say yes, I mostly agree if the follow-up arch is believable and plausible. Which it isn’t in my opinion. We jump from the Heroes of Olympus saga to The Trials of (Mo)Lester I mean Apollo and we’re having this HUGE jump? From barely knowing each other to being soulmates, sitting next to each other, hanging out, going on in their business, having the picket white fence, two kids, three dogs, living in a gentrified neighborhood and baking cherry pie on Sundays? HOW IN THE ACTUAL FUCK DID ALL OF THIS HAPPEN?! That is incredibly rushed.
Aren’t...you shippers....Mad? That’s so cheap? I’d say so? Wouldn’t you like to have more pre-existing relationship and plausible development? With Percabeth you at least have a five book long progression, Solangelo is Riordan basically taking a dump on your plate and forcing you to eat it. And no, Riordan teasing the last Apollo doesn’t count.
Additionally, wouldn’t it be way better to still have a character say “Yeah, I’m gay. Pass me that salt, will ya?” without it being gimmicky or a foil or something for woke points? Just showing kids: “Hey, if you think this is a label that suits you, it’s fine! It’s perfect even! No worries!” (Also, the “coming out scene” with Jason and Cupid wasn't it, my loves. That was horrifying and insulting imo).
I mean. Show and tell are powerful tools in narration and telling more than often resolves unnecessary conflict/dialogue. And whereas season one from Percy Jackson had barely anything in that direction with Nico’s identity, season two didn’t make it any better. And season three is a complete cluster fuck.
Yeah. For me, the ship is super rushed.
Final point. The fandom.
I have to inter-subjectively state that Solangelo shippers are fucking crazy. I know Percabeth shippers (including me, helloooo) and especially the Annabeth stans for some odd reason are insane, but Solangelo shippers take the fucking cake and then some. There’s already a disconnect between the age groups in the fandom and it’s clear that more of the older teens and adults center around the Percy Jackson story and some in the Heroes of Olympus sequel, but from what I’ve seen the Trials of Apollo fandom is super young and on a whole different level. Might be the reason why facing some criticisms seems harder, because the minute you open your mouth to say something about Solangelo, you have people attacking you left and right. Chill guys, it’s not that deep? And it’s definitely not a personal attack on you. After all, I don’t know who you are and tbh Idgaf.
Talking about the lack of substance, fanon will automatically come in and fill the gaps. Which is fine and something we all do, but I really have to wonder about the levels of extremes that some take?
We all center around certain tropes and what not and while the trope and dynamic behind Solangelo isn’t particularly something for me, I really have to ask why people are behind it. Don’t get me wrong. My question is touching on more on M/M fetishization because I think that is mostly the driving force for some people rather than liking the actual ship? I see more people projecting things into Nico and Will and it’s really turning their characters into something they aren’t? Especially with Nico, who gets turned into this 5 ft. UwU punk princess which is hella strange???
All in all, I don’t have anything against the ship apart from it’s overrushed nature and Riordan’s wacky timeline. Do whatever you want with it (apart from fetishizing and sexualizing the ship), no one’s stopping you from liking it. But I do believe there are some things to look out for, especially in the fandom.
Take it easy, guys.
